Destiny 2 server status – is Destiny 2 down?

Wonder about the Destiny 2 server status? If you can't access your character or log on to Destiny 2, it's possible Bungie's servers are having a bit of downtime or have run into a problem. To stop yourself from troubleshooting your own network, you should first check the server status of the shooter. Currently scheduled maintenance times can be found below.

If you're experiencing issues, you might wonder what's going on with the Destiny 2 server status, or how long before the servers come back up. While there was planned Destiny 2 server maintenance in advance of the Destiny 2 Lightfall launch, the free PC game's downtime concluded when the DLC launched on February 28.

Destiny 2 Nightfall weapons – What is the Nightfall weapon this week?

Want to know what this week's Destiny 2 Nightfall weapon is? Each week you've got a chance at a different weapon for completing Nightfall Strikes, and ever since Season of the Lost, fan-favourite legacy weapons from the original Destiny has been added to the rotation. New seasons often introduce new weapons into the rotation, so it's more important than ever to know in advance the Nightfall weapon schedule.

Nightfall: The Ordeal is a playlist available in the Vanguard menu, alongside the basic Strike playlist in the free PC game. Each week, a different Strike is chosen as the Nightfall, and offered in five escalating difficulties, with harder enemies, challenging modifiers, and enemy power levels cranking up. The coveted Nightfall weapons have a chance to drop from any Nightfall Strike difficulty, but it's far more likely at higher levels, which is something you'll want to maximise your chances for with the Destiny 2 Lightfall release date that just passed. Your best bet for farming each week's Nightfall weapon is to set the Strike to Master difficulty, or to Grandmaster difficulty when such strikes are available if you have a fireteam up to the task.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC relationship chart

Nintendo revealed a full relationship chart for the characters in the new Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC expansion titled Future Redeemed. These include the six mysterious original Ouroboros and founders of the new City that were briefly mentioned in the main game. It also includes returning characters like Shulk, Rex, Riku, N, Z, and someone who appears to be Alvis.

You can take a look at the Japanese chart below.
https://twitter.com/XenobladeJP/status/1648499840454914048

In the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC relationship chart, the lines between new protagonist Matthew and Niall/Nael indicates that they are siblings. Additionally, Matthew seems to be concerned about Niall/Nael, with his line connecting to her reading "What is wrong with you!?" Meanwhile, Niall's line towards Matthew reads "The world won't change like that," showing that hers and Matthew's ideals and views on The City and Moebius differ. Matthew and Niall/Nael's grandfather is simply called "Ghondor" and is the founder of The City.

A is Matthew's partner. Matthew thinks that she complains too much, while A's line towards Matthew reads "Do not rush in alone." N and Z are returning Moebius members and they pose a threat to The City, as their intention is raiding it. However, a mysterious line connects N to Ghondor, and it only includes a question mark.

Nikol is a timid soldier from the country of Keves, while Glimmer is described as a brave soldier from the country of Agnus. Their relationship is initially antagonistic, as both countries are at war. Nikol only wants the defeat of Glimmer and Agnus, while Glimmer's line towards Nikol reads "Shut up; I'll take care of you!"

Shulk, Rex, and Riki are the Liberators. While Riki is isolated from the two, Rex and Shulk have a friendly relationship. Shulk's line towards Rex reads "You can count on me!" Meanwhile, Rex's line towards Shulk reads "I guess this was fate!" Finally, a character who looks identical to Alvis from the first Xenoblade Chronicles game appears on the top of the chart. However, here he is simply named with a question mark.

The Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed DLC will come out on April 25, 2023. The game is readily available on the Nintendo Switch, and its previous 3 DLC waves are also available.

What Is the Pyra and Mythra amiibo Release Date

Nintendo shared not only the Pyra and Mythra amiibo release date, but offered details on their compatibility. In addition to working with Super Smash Bros Ultimate, they will also work with Xenoblade Chronicles 3. The two will be bundled together in a double pack and debut on July 21, 2023.

As usual, the Pyra and Mythra amiibo will work as figures you battle and improve in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. You can also get items for scanning them into the game. In Xenoblade Chronicles 3, it offers cosmetic changes. When scanned in, each character's respective version of the Aegis will appear as Noah's weapon when he is a Swordfighter. However, Nintendo also confirmed both weapon skins will be available via a patch without the figures eventually in-game.

Here's a closer look at the packaging for the double pack, as well as how Noah's sword will look in-game after the figures are scanned.

The Pyra and Mythra amiibo double pack release date is July 21, 2023. Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 are available for the Nintendo Switch. Noah and Mio amiibo are also in development.

Switch Battery

Nintendo shared important information about the battery life of Nintendo Switch consoles and issued a warning about the possibility of Switch batteries becoming impossible to charge if they go without charging for too long. The company recommends charging Switch consoles at least once every six months. This will reduce the risk of the lithium-ion batteries from becoming impossible to charge. [Thanks, Game Watch!]

https://twitter.com/nintendo_cs/status/1647831952559599616

While losing the remaining battery charge in a Switch console after not using it for a long period of time is normal, leaving the system unused and without charging for too long entails some risks for the system. Especially since replacing a Switch battery is not as easy as changing the batteries of other portable Nintendo consoles.

The Nintendo Japan customer service Twitter account shared this information on April 18, 2023, warning users from possible battery issues happening. Additionally, in cases where the battery has become impossible to charge, or other issues exist with the console, the company shared the Nintendo Support website as a means for customers to request repair information and help.

On a different tweet from January 2023, Nintendo also warned players of condensation drops forming inside the Switch console, if the internal temperature gets too high. Since determining if condensation drops are forming is not easy, and with summer approaching, players should be mindful of this too.

Hololive x WorldofWarships collab event. Image via Wargaming

Four Hololive VTubers are coming to World of Warships. Update 12.3 will add Shishiro Botan, Moona Hoshinova, Watson Amelia, and Takanashi Kiara as newly available commanders. This is the second time the strategy game will feature a crossover with Hololive production.

Each of the four VTubers will voice their commanders and join players in the midst of battle. As part of this special event, players will also be able to get a special expendable camouflage and a commemorative flag for a limited time.

This is the second time Hololive talents have been featured as available commanders for World of Warships. Back in July 2020, Fubuki Shirakami and Marine Houshou teamed up for a limited-time event bringing a specialization for the Japanese cruiser Hashidate in-game. For this collaboration, each one also had a voice pack designed to suit different situations.

Hololive talents are no strangers to special game collaborations. Some of these VTubers previously appeared in the Among Us Hololive-themed cosmetic pack, provided voice acting for Paladins, and guest starred in the mobile game Valkyrie Connect.

World of Warships is readily available for the PC, iOS devices, Android devices, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. More details about the Hololive collaboration event will be revealed at a later date.

Honkai: Star Rail Twitter Countdown Event Announced

HoYoVerse announced another Honkai: Star Rail launch promotion, which is a Twitter countdown event. People who choose to participate can opt in to elements of their profile on the social media site changing every day until April 26, 2023. However, the offer is only open to standard users and not people who pay for Twitter Blue or are verified. In addition, people can also get the official imagery without taking part via HoYoLab updates. People can also register to possibly be picked for a "boarding call" phone call on launch day.

Here's how to take part in the Honkai: Star Rail Twitter countdown event. First, HoYoVerse recommends saving your account's current avatar, banner, and bio just in case. This is in the event an issue keeps that from being restored after April 26, 2023. Once that's done, head to the official site and click the "Participate" button at the bottom of the page. HoYoVerse notes that, after doing so, a person's avatar, banner, bio, location, and part of a person's username will change each day if someone opts into the promotion. However, if someone's name hit the character limit, it will not change. The company also noted, "We will not obtain your personal data, send messages, or perform any operations on your device."

There are two ways to stop participating if you choose to. One is to visit the event page and select "Cancel" at the bottom of the page. Someone can also send a tweet that says "@honkaistarrail #ReturnToDepartureStation" to return to normal.

As for the images and banners, those will be updated each day on HoYoLab. There, people can get avatars, Twitter headers, and Facebook profile covers already released. The April 18, 2023 one involves the mascot character Pom Pom. That's an NPC that acts as the Astral Express conductor.

There is another launch event running as well. People near Kinokuniya stores can pre-register there to get a Star Rail Pass, see a March 7th standee, and enter a contest.

The Honkai: Star Rail PC and mobile release date is April 26, 2023, and the Twitter countdown event will end that same day. It will also come to PlayStation consoles like the PS4 and PS5 sometime after.
