I don't have a lot of complaints about Baldur's Gate 3, but the original ending is probably my biggest issue with Larian Studios' excellent RPG. STALKER 2 is the most highly anticipated PC game according to the recent PC Gaming Show, which isn't all that surprising. We also got a look at the game's brand-new trailer, revealing the return of Strider from Call of Pripyat. The FPS sequel has had fans chomping at the bit for new information and teasers since GSC Game World first announced it back in 2010. GSC's dissolution canceled that initial iteration of STALKER 2, but the developer later reformed and then revealed Heart of Chornobyl in 2018.

The Path of Exile 2 Mercenary is one of its most unique classes yet, and it's seen developer Grinding Gear Games relent on a decade-long absence from its ARPG. The free Steam game will see the addition of WASD movement in Path of Exile 2, bringing the much-requested alternate control scheme to Diablo 4's biggest rival. While Blizzard has suggested it's working on the feature, we've seen no official confirmation of when we might see it, giving PoE2 a chance to nudge ahead in the accessibility race.

Solium Infernum is one of the coolest new strategy games we've seen in a long time. Part Civilization 6, part Diablo 4, and part Doom Eternal, it casts you as one of eight archfiends, vying for control of Hell after Lucifer himself has mysteriously disappeared. An ambitious remake of the underground, indie hit of the same name, Solium Infernum subverts the genre by giving you fewer choices, but with more significant and severe consequences. With asynchronous multiplayer, a heavy focus on double-dealing and paranoia, and a superb art style, Solium Infernum finally has a confirmed release date - and if you're tired of waiting for Civilization 7, Solium is coming soon.

What is the best graphics card? It's hard to remember a time when the gaming GPU scene was filled to the brim with so many options, as AMD, Nvidia, and now even Intel all offer compelling graphics card models for frugal and big spenders alike. As such, it can be difficult to identify the perfect pixel pusher for your system, but our hands-on experience with the latest GeForce, Radeon, and Arc cards will make it much easier.

When it comes to maximizing your gaming performance, a great graphics card should be your top priority. A GPU is the primary driving force behind your frame rate, but it also determines what resolution and graphics settings you'll be able to use, including the likes of ray tracing. Each manufacturer also has its own set of strengths, including exclusive features, such as DLSS Frame Generation, which also need to be considered when weighing up your options.

While the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 review is undoubtedly the fastest graphics card out there, it's also the most expensive. Thankfully, there are plenty of options that offer better value, with particularly fierce competition in the mid-range and budget space.

While it's easy to feel like you need to buy one of the latest GPUs, you'd be doing yourself a disservice by not giving previous generations a look too. You can often find what were recently flagship levels of performance at a sizeable discount, but you'll need to act fast before stock dries up.

What is the Turnip Boy Robs a Bank release date? One of the greatest television series of all time is Breaking Bad, a show about a man who finds out he has a life-threatening illness so he turns to a life of crime to provide for his family. Okay, so maybe these franchises aren't that similar after all.

It's been over two years since Turnip Boy's last indie game adventure which saw him committing tax evasion in an effort to overthrow a corrupt vegetable government. If you're looking for a funny action game that has you shaking down hostages to steal their valuables, you'll want to consider picking up Turnip Boy Robs a Bank. What are the best Palia mods? Mods for MMO games tend to be few and far between, as there is the inherent risk of being banned from servers for using them. However, in games where collecting resources is encouraged, some mods can help you save time in the long run from flitting between screens or glancing at a phone to triangulate exactly where you are in relation to the object you seek.

Since Palia hasn't been out all that long, and the MMO made its Epic Games Store debut, there aren't a ton of mods out there right now, but as we expected, the ones you can find are those that are helpful in navigation or make Palia's already vivid art style look more colorful than ever before. I am late to walk the Path of Exile. Very late: the evergreen free-to-play dark fantasy action-RPG launched literal generations ago in 2013, the heyday of Bioshock Infinite and GTA 5. (It's still arguably the heyday of GTA 5. Bioshock Infinite, not so much.) It's my understanding that New Zealand-based developer Grinding Gears have released approximately one bazillion Path of Exile updates and expansions in the decade since, the latest of which, Affliction, is briefly detailed in a boxout down the page.

I am not your guy for blow-by-blow descriptions of what Affliction adds to Path of Exile. My cautious summary would be: lots of terrifying trees, and lots of modifiers. I am, however, your guy for a newcomer's snapshot verdict on the sequel ahead of the closed Path of Exile 2 beta on 7th June 2024. In a twist so far-fetched they might just pull it off, the new game is designed both for returning players and newcomers, and I think a lot of that is epitomised by the just-announced Mercenary class, which reflects game director Jonathan Rogers's desire to create combat mechanics that are at once more involved and more inviting.

One of them was Spine, an upcoming action game that asks the question: what if Sifu also had guns? The new gameplay trailer shows street artist heroine Redline punching, kicking and shooting her way through a cyberpunk-themed world of thugs and armoured guards, and her fancy footwork and the equally agile camera framing looks like it could be quite the combo when it eventually comes out in 2025. Alas, the trailer doesn't give away much else, but I spoke to developers Nekki ahead of tonight's showcase to find more about it, and how it's taking direct inspiration from Sifu and John Wick to become the next big cinematic beat 'em up.

Pokemon Year of the Dragon Merchandise Features Rayquaza & Horsea

To celebrate the upcoming new year, the Pokemon Center Online released Pokemon Year of the Dragon merchandise that features Rayquaza, Horsea, and Pikachu. These ceramic Pokemon figures and ornaments are crafted in collaboration with Yakushigama, best known as a ceramic ware brand produced by Chugai Toen.

The Rayquaza and Pikachu ceramic figurine comes with a pedestal and gold folding screen. Rayquaza is shown holding a small Pikachu in their arms while resting atop clouds. The Rayquaza and Pikachu figurine costs ¥2,860 (~$18 USD) and is currently sold out on the Pokemon Center Online website. The website notes that this latest item in their Pokemon merchandise line is not a bell, so it is not recommended to be shaken.

The Pikachu and Horsea ceramic ornament comes with a red string so it can be hung up, either on a tree or some sort of hook. Pikachu is shown hugging a Horsea in his arms. Inside of the ornament is a small bell which can be gently shaken to make a soft sound. The Pikachu and Horsea ornament costs ¥1,540 (~$10 USD) and is also currently sold out on the Pokemon Center Online website.

This Pokemon Year of the Dragon merchandise designed in collaboration with Yakushigama will be available at the Pokemon Center storefronts in Japan starting December 2, 2023. Each store will have a different process for obtaining one of these ceramic Pokemon items.

Recently, Pokemon collaborated with Tiffany and Co. to release a brand new line of luxury Pokemon jewelry which also featured a Poke Ball design for for the jewelry cases. Takara Tomy is producing a giant Clodsire plush. Pokemon fans can also purchase a reclining chair in the shape of Sizzlipede from the official store. Amnesia Otome Game Nendoroid for Toma Comes with His Cage

Good Smile Company opened up pre-orders for another Nendoroid based on an Amnesia: Memories otome game love interest, and it involves both Toma and his cage. The character will appear with items inspired by his route in 2024.

In Japan, the Toma Nendoroid will arrive in July 2024 and cost ¥6,800. It will show up in North America in Q4 2024 for $42.99. Buying from either Good Smile Company storefront nets people an acrylic stand of the character.

Here's how that bonus looks:

As for the accessories, all of the items are ones associated with Toma in Amnesia, though someone isn't actually getting a miniature dog crate cage. Rather, it is a decorative sheet with the image of the cage from the otome game with the Nendoroid as an accessory. He has his Ace of Diamonds card, which is the suit associated with him, and a pair of handcuffs to hold. He also has face plates with neutral, smiling, and angry expressions.

Here's a closer look at the figure:

This is the second of the planned figures based on the games so far. The first one is of Shin. He'll be coming to stores in 2024 as well and release ahead of his brother.

The Toma Amnesia Nendoroid will release in Japan in July 2024 and North America in Q4 2024. Pre-orders close on January 18, 2024. Amnesia: Memories is available on the Switch, Vita, and PC outside Japan.

The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Traveling Backpack Korok Plushies

Sanei Boeki is releasing a new plush line of traveling Korok carrying a backpack from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. There are two different Korok plushies available, and both are set to release in Japan in mid-February 2024. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

The new Korok plushies cost 3,300 yen (or about $22) each. There are two versions, one carrying a brown backpack, and the other one using a red backpack. Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis

I play a lot of mobile games. I have about six installed on my phone at the moment, which includes Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis. Almost all of them have some kind of gacha (or random loot box) element. And while each have drop rates for weapons, characters, or accessories in varying degrees, they all have one thing in common: events. It's one thing Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is never left wanting for, as a new event seems to roll out every week or two with an accompanying banner or three, but I wish it would slow down.

As of writing, Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is hosting a Final Fantasy IX event that features a total of three event banners running from November 9, 2023 to December 7, 2023. Each of these banners has unique "Weapon" drops and "Attire" as rewards for making it through the Chocobo Pass system. Characters need Weapons, as specific attacks are attached to them, and Attire is more or less the stand in for armor. It provides you with a new cosmetic that often times has some really powerful passive stats attached to it.

The only way to obtain Attire is through the aforementioned Chocobo Pass, which requires to roll on a banner at max 12 times. (As of right now there are so many event banners in Ever Crisis that the UI is actually broken and doesn't register that there is a third event banner alongside the two promoted ones.) Now in order to roll on a banner, you need 3,000 Blue Gems (or Red Gems if you want to pay money), which are extremely hard to come by as rewards give out paltry amounts of the currency. If you want to dish out dollars for Red Gems, Ever Crisis commits the cardinal sin of forcing you to buy two packs in order to get that 3,000 Red Gems for the pull: one pack at $7.99 for 1,200 and another at $14.99 for 2,400 . Which means if you're trying to get those 12 pulls for the Attire, you're potentially spending $275.76.

Why am I bringing this up? Because just about every few weeks, a new Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis event rolls out. With the rate that you're given Blue Gems for completing content, you won't be able to get everything. I understand. That's the business model. Square Enix wants you to spend money to get Weapons and Attire, or at least constantly be playing and spending hours upon hours with the game, saving up those Blue Gems for a banner that has something you like. But what's the point of saving if you're always going to get power crept by the next event banner?

I've been playing Ever Crisis since its release, skipping banners to only gear up characters I really like. (That includes Zack, Tifa, Sephiroth, and Aerith.) Though in Aerith's case, it's because she is without a doubt the stronger healer in the game and I've been able to clear content under the recommended power level (which is the total strength of a character based on their level, Materia upgrades, passive upgrades, and Weapon level and upgrades) using her after getting some really good Weapon duplicates. This means I've been skipping on banners with The First Soldier characters and other folks available in the game, but I still don't have enough Blue Gems to get what I want. Or rather, what I've been saving up for.

Gacha games are always going to be unfair. That's just the way they're made by design. It's always about getting the player to spend money, but Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is just more obvious about it with it's event schedule and the way you get gated on content based on your power level. I wish Ever Crisis would slow down just a bit, so the game isn't the same kind of time commitment as playing an MMORPG if you really want to be able to keep up with everything. Or at least Square Enix and Applibot could adjust how much currency you get per-mission to make rolling on banners a little easier. This more than likely won't happen, and Ever Crisis won't have that same illusion of fairness like other gacha games I'm playing like Path to Nowhere, which also has a nice steady stream of events.

I guess I'm just sort of shouting into the wind here. I know what these games are like, and I know the Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis event schedule probably won't change. But at the rate the game is going, not even a year into release, the heavy cycle is making me consider dropping the game purely because it's become so much of a grind it isn't fun anymore. Keeping up with content has become a chore. It's something I feel like I have to do in order to progress the main story, and maybe I'm doing it wrong, but when I play a game I want it to be fun. Or at least have the illusion of being fun.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is available for Android and iOS devices. It will release on PCs through Steam sometime in the future.

Demon Slayer: Sweep the Board Japanese Release Date Leaked

The release date for Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mezase! Saikyou Taishi, a game known as Demon Slayer: Sweep the Board internationally, has allegedly been set for April 25, 2024 in Japan, said leaker ryokutya2089 in a post on their blog. Although the date has not yet been officially announced, Aniplex had previously stated that the game was planned for a release in 2024. [Thanks, ryokutya!]

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mezase! Saikyou Taishi was revealed back on September 10, 2023 by Aniplex as a Damon Slayer board game-style party game for the Nintendo Switch. At that time, a release date for the game was not revealed beyond the 2024 release window.

Players will be able to use various characters from the Demon Slayer series and move them around on a board modeled after locations from the manga and anime. Tanjiro, Nezuko Zenitsu, Inosuke, and all nine Hashira members are the characters currently announced to be in the game. As the player explore locations during the daytime through rolling the dice, minigames can be triggered in order to gain strength. At nighttime, players will have to hunt and slay demons. The winner of the game is declared the strongest Demon Slayer. Up to four players can play together both online and locally.

The English language version will be published by Sega outside of Japan under the name Demon Slayer: Sweep the Board. Sega announced back on September 13, 2023 that the game is set to release worldwide in 2024.

Currently, this game is the second Demon Slayer game to be released on the Nintendo Switch. The first game that came to the Nintendo Switch was the port of The Hinokami Chronicles, an arena fighter game developed by CyberConnect2.

The Japanese website is live for Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mezase! Saikyou Taishi. The English language website for the game is live, although it is just a placeholder website and has no information about the latest Demon Slayer game present on it.

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mezase! Saikyou Taishi is allegedly set to release on April 25, 2024 in Japan. The Demon Slayer: Sweep the Board Nintendo Switch game will launch worldwide in 2024.

Square Enix Shares Crisis Core FFVII Angeal Photography Hobby Details

Japan celebrates Camera Day on November 30, and to mark the occasion Square Enix shared some details about Angeal and his photography hobby in Crisis Core FFVII.

According to one of the Angeal Fan Club updates that Zack receives in Crisis Core FFVII, Angeal's treasure is a camera that his mother gifted to him. The bulletin also reveals that Angeal likes to keep a collection of photos of landscapes taken during his missions.

It is possible Angeal might have gotten his love of photography in Crisis Core FFVII from his mother, as she keeps plenty of pictures of him at his childhood home of Banora. When Zack visits her home early in the game, the player can examine some of them. The first picture shows a young Angeal back when he became a Soldier, and two other show Angeal as a baby, and Angeal and Genesis when they were children.

Due to the image quality in the original PSP release of Crisis Core, players could only read the descriptions of these pictures. However, the Crisis Core: FFVII Reunion HD remaster allows players to get a better look at them. You can also check them out here:

Square Enix often shares trivia and information about FFVII Remake and other titles in the compilation. The company recently shared new early concept art of Cloud's dress in FFVII Remake.

Crisis Core: FFVII Reunion is immediately available on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam.

Senki Zesshou Symphogear DX Unlimited

Bushiroad announced that it will cease its online services for Senki Zesshou Symphogear XD Unlimited in Japan on January 31, 2024, at 2pm JST. The company is also preparing a permanent offline archive app for existing players on iOS and Android devices to review content that they have unlocked, such as story episodes, character cards, and music tracks. It will provide a unique serial number for each player on December 8, 2023.

Symphogear XD Unlimited is a "Symphonic Battle RPG" where players collect characters from the Symphogear anime series that ran from 2012 to 2019. They can also gather music tracks and equip them to apply combat-related buffs for the characters in PvE and PvP matches.

Bushiroad worked with Pokelabo, the studio best known for SINoALICE, to develop this free-to-play title. The game launched in late June 2017, so it will have a total lifespan of around six and a half years by the time it shuts down at the end of January 2024.

Pokelabo attempted to bring the mobile game to a wider audience by launching a global version supporting English, Chinese, and Korean in February 2020. However, the global releases did not last long and Pokelabo shut them down in late July 2020 after just five months of service.

Despite the lack of new content in the franchise, Bushiroad assured that the closure of this game would not spell the end for the whole Symphogear series. In the same announcement, the company teased an announcement for a new project in the series on December 1, 2023.

Senki Zesshou Symphogear XD Unlimited is available in Japan for PC, iOS, and Android mobile devices until January 31, 2024.

Destiny 2 Best Pvp And Pve Solar Warlock BuildsThere have been several change-ups to the Solar Warlock meta which means the best PvE build in Destiny 2 is up for debate again. In this article, I'll use my personal experience and research to guide you through how to create the best Solar Warlock for PvP and PvE. Starfire Protocol used to have a chokehold on the PvE Solar Warlock meta, but since Well of Radiance got nerfed, it's just one of many good options. Some really great Solar Warlock builds include using Starfire Protocol, Sunbracers, and even Apothesis Veil which everyone is hyped about thanks to its new buff, but this build focuses on Dawn Chorus for PvE. For PvP, I was going to recommend a Wings of Sacred Dawn build, but after all the time I've had playing with it, I've decided it's fun but it's not that good. Best PvE Solar Warlock build in Destiny 2 Of course, you can't go wrong with the Starfire Protocol Well of Radiance build, but since it's not as go...
