fire emblem engage manga

A manga adaptation of Fire Emblem Engage will start serialization on a monthly basis. The prologue chapter will debut on February 3, 2023 in Saikyo Jump. After that, the first chapter will appear on March 3, 2023. New installments will appear on a monthly schedule.

The manga version of Fire Emblem Engage will use the male protagonist. Kazurou Kyou is the mangaka. Kyou previously worked on Dead-end-Host, Himedoll!!, and Houkago Idol. The first three chapters of the Fire Emblem Engage manga will appear on Weekly Shonen Jump+ for free. Chapters after that will only be available for free for three weeks after their debut.

As a reminder, the basic plot of Fire Emblem Engage follows Alear, who wakes from a thousand-year slumber at a time when the Fell Dragon's seal started to grow weaker. Coincidentally, the people and the Emblem Heroes sealed the Fell Dragon away a thousand years ago as well. In order to fulfill their mother's dying wishes, Alear goes on a journey to find the twelve Emblem Rings, which will help to seal the Fell Dragon once more.

You do not need to have any prior Fire Emblem knowledge to understand the manga. However, since the Emblem Heroes in Engage are protagonists from previous Fire Emblem titles, it may be beneficial to have a basic idea of who they are. This goes for the game as well.

The Fire Emblem Engage manga will start serialization in Saikyo Jump on February 3, 2023. Fire Emblem Engage will appear the Nintendo Switch on January 20, 2023.

Chainsaw Man Aki Figure Has Blood on Its Hands

A new Chainsaw Man Aki figure is on the way, and it is designed to depict a specific moment in the series. It is set during the Katana Man arc and shows him after a major fight. As such, the 1/7th scale figure looks quite bloody. It will show up in October 2023 in Japan. When it does, it will cost ¥29,480. A few months later, it will appear in December 2023 in North America for $205.99.

This Aki figure is expected to be over seven and a half inches tall. (He's about 195mm.) He's sitting in an office chair, smoking a cigarette. Parts of devils he defeated are in front of him, and his sword is stuck in the ground. His hands, shirt, and face are all bloodied from the recent "fight." While he's in his normal Public Safety Devil Hunter uniform, his jacket is slung over the back of the chair.

Here's a closer look at Aki in Good Smile Company's official photos.

You can also get pieces of paper designed to look like the "easy revenge" cigarette he gets during the Katana Man arc.

The Chainsaw Man Aki figure will come to Japan in October 2023, with a North American release following in December 2023. Pre-orders are open until March 9, 2023.

Why Colossal Cave matters and why Ken and Roberta Williams remade it

Colossal Cave is an adventure game that predates its own genre and  arguably everything we know as 'the rules' of modern game design. It began life as 700 lines of code on a PDP-10 mainframe computer in the 1970s, eventually making its way to IBM and Apple home computers by the early '80s as a 'launch title' for IBM's initial line of PCs. Now it's getting a second life as a fully realised 3D experience thanks to Ken and Roberta Williams, who credit Colossal Cave with inspiring the launch of their company, Sierra.

"I honestly believe, had I never played it, I don't know what I'd be doing today. I don't know what Ken would be doing," Roberta Williams tells PCGamesN.

While there are some recoil control issues to contend with, you can quickly fix them by optimising it's attachments, bringing its performance in line with some of the best Warzone 2 guns.

Best Warzone 2 sniper rifle for Season 1 Reloaded

No top loadout is complete without the best Warzone 2 sniper rifle. The best snipers are crucial if you're going to dominate across the long, open expanses offered by the new map. It's no secret that Al Mazrah is the biggest and most ambitious map to come to the free game so far, so preparing appropriate custom loadouts will be a game-changer, and hopefully keep you out of the gulag.

The best Warzone 2 sniper is the MCPR-300. All snipers, by definition, have excellent range and deal high damage, so the best stats to improve when building your rifle are handling, mobility, and fire rate. Unlike in the first game, one-shot kills aren't always possible in the free PC game, and even a close-range headshot won't drop an enemy if they have three plates of armour equipped, so being faster makes all the difference. You can expect changes in this list when Warzone 2 season 2 launches on February 15. Here's everything you need to know about the best sniper for Warzone 2.

Searching for the MW2 best Lachmann-762 loadout? This battle rifle is a monster at long range, a powerful weapon that can pick off distant enemies in an instant. There are some issues with the weapon's recoil control, but this can easily be addressed by using the correct attachments.

As you play Modern Warfare 2, one of the best PC games, the Lachmann-762 also allows you to switch between semi-automatic and fully automatic firing modes - we recommend semi-automatic as the gun can go all over the place when firing off multiple rounds. This weapon has one of the fastest time-to-kill speeds we've seen in the FPS game, making it one of the best MW2 guns available.

Best Warzone 2 marksman rifle for Season 1 Reloaded

Want to know the best Warzone 2 marksman rifle? While their usefulness in Modern Warfare 2 is somewhat limited by map size, marksman rifles are a lot more lethal in battle royale as it offers a far larger island to scope out targets from a distance.

To cut to the chase, the best Warzone 2 marksman rifle is the SPR-208. The marksman rifle category can't keep up with the best Warzone 2 sniper rifles in terms of stopping power, but the SPR-208 is the closest you're going to come. It offers a much faster rate of fire than most sniper rifles, and because a one-shot down isn't possible in the free PC game, the additional mobility and speed will serve you well. That should come in handy when your foe is just a bit too far away for even the best Warzone 2 guns to reach. We don't expect our list to change before Warzone 2 season 2 drops as there likely won't be a balance patch until then.

There's a lot I'm excited for in Tchia. Revealed at the Game Awards back in 2020, the trailer boasted a whole load of activities: sailing, climbing, ukelele playing, swimming, tree-hopping, slingshot sharpshooting, totem carving, gliding - the list is never ending - and all set on a beautiful island with characters to talk to, quests to complete, and enemies to fight. And on top of all that, you also have the ability to "soul-jump" letting you control any animal or object.

It sounds too good to be true, right? But two years after Awaceb's trailer debut, I've gotten my hands on a preview build to see whether a nine-person dev team's tropical island exploration game is pie in the sky. Turns out, it's the opposite; my hands on time suggests Tchia will deliver on everything it promised and more.

Guillemot had come under fire from Ubisoft staff following his comments, which prompted calls from one French union for Ubisoft Paris staff to strike later this month.

Like a Dragon Ishin Trailer Looks at Farming, Animal Care

The newest Like a Dragon Ishin trailer focuses on the more lowkey and relaxed activities in the game, with farming and caring for animals both highlighted. It shows the different kind of relaxed elements at home, how those work, and what life is like alongside Haruka. (Yes, there is a Haruka in this spin-off too.)

The Like a Dragon Ishin trailer begins with a look at farming. Kazuma is first in his garden plot. The video shows him harvesting some Broad Beans. After that, Ryoma takes that fresh produce and heads into the kitchen to cook for Haruka. This ends up being something of a rhythm game, as someone needs to chop veggies by pressing buttons at the right times. It turns out someone can view food orders and try to make items just so in order to earn money.

After taking care of farming and cooking, the Like a Dragon Ishin trailer shows animal care. Initially, we see Ryoma happen upon an injured dog. He then tends to them. It then looks like the bond grows. After that, we see Ryoma interact with Snowball the cat inside. He also spends time with a Shiba Inu that performs a flip for him and a cat that jumps for him.

Like a Dragon Ishin will come to the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on February 21, 2023.

Genshin Impact Yaoyao Collected Miscellany Highlights Her Unique Position

Yaoyao made her Genshin Impact debut when 3.4 launched, joining the pool of four-star characters. Now there's a new Collected Miscellany video going over her moveset, personality, and capabilities. As with the Alhaitham one, prominent NPC Dainsleif appears to narrate the showcase.

After establishing who she is, the video goes over her moveset. Her Exploration Talent is Tailing on Tiptoes and makes it easier to catch animals, bugs, and lizards. Looks at her Normal Attack Toss 'N' Turn Spear, Elemental Skill Raphanus Sky Cluster, Elemental Burst Moonjade Descent, and Passive Talent Starscatter. Quite a bit of the focus is on how Yuegui, once summoned and placed in the field, will heal allies and hurt enemies.

Here's the full Genshin Impact "Yaoyao: Sweet Clouds of Osmanthus" Collected Miscellany trailer.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5fw5RAtl34&ab_channel=GenshinImpact

Yaoyao is a character who originally appeared in leaks and teaser art not long after Genshin Impact launched in September 2020. However, as a Dendro vision holder, she couldn't appear in the game until that element was added alongside the Sumeru region in 3.0. People have a greater chance than usual of getting her in the gacha during the Alhaitham and Xiao 3.4 banners.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and Yaoyao is now permanently available in its pool of four-star characters.

Baki Spin-off Hana no Chiharu Shiba

A new spin-off of the Baki manga series is in production and will debut in the middle of February 2023. The announcement appeared in the March 2023 issue of Champion Red, a regular manga anthology. The series is set to star Chiharu Shiba, a recurring character from Baki that's popular among readers. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089!]

The Baki spin-off series is titled Baki Gaiden: Hana no Chiharu, and stars Chiharu Shiba, who appeared in the manga and the second and third seasons of the anime. Chiharu Shiba is a tough-as-nails street fighter who has a pain tolerance so incredible that it's rumored he doesn't feel pain at all. He's also leader of the Tokkoutai, a large and violent biker gang. He dresses in the classic outfit of a Japanese bosou-zoku biker: A long coat version with a high collar, baggy pants, and a thick pompadour hairstyle. He also has a back tattoo depicting a massive three-headed dragon resembling the famed kaiju King Ghidora.

In his fights, Chiharu Shiba takes the reckless attitude of a veteran biker to extremes, often harming himself to unnerve his opponent. In one fight, he breaks his left arm to intimidate his opponent, and then goes on to win one-handed.

The Baki spin-off manga Baki Gaiden: Hana no Chiharu is in development, but does not yet have a release window. The regular Baki manga runs in Shonen Champion in Japan. The anime adaptation of Baki Hanma airs on Netflix.

Genshin Impact Interactive Map and Enhancement Progression Calculator Updated

As is common with Genshin Impact updates, HoYoVerse confirmed all of its online tools like the interactive map and enhancement progression calculator are now up-to-date with new additions. These extra features take into account new characters and areas. This also marks the first update for the new Card Plaza tool, which allows people who play the Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG to check out cards and decks.

The Genshin Impact Interactive Map update features a number of changes. It added the new region, which is the Desert of Hadramaveth. To help with new searches in the area, there are also sections dedicated to the new characters. So if you go to the Level-Up Material section, you can choose Alhaitham or Yaoyao and immediately see where his items are in the new region. It also pinpoints the home of the new Setekh Wenut and Wenut Tunnels. People can also see where the Consecrated Red Vultures that drop the Desiccated Shell you may need for Alhaitham's Light of Foliar Incision could be. In addition, there is an underground map feature available.

Many of the updates deal with how to use or build up new characters, as the Battle Chronicle, Enhancement Progression Calculator, and Lineup Simulator for Genshin Impact all include Alhaitham and Yaoyao now. these let you keep track of your progress, find out what materials you might need, or work out possible teams.

Finally, there are two additions to the Card Plaza. This tool appeared after 3.3 launched and Genius Invokation TCG came to Genshin Impact. As Beidou and Klee are now available as character cards and have their own supports, those are available to analyze and see. There is also a Heated Battle Mode there.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the 3.4 update is live now.

Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden Launch Trailers Set the Stage

Both Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden are immediately available worldwide, which means it is launch trailer time. Atlus shared two videos reintroducing the games to the world. Each one offers a better look at how the remastered games look on new platforms. It also serves as a refresher for what to expect from each game.

First, here's the Persona 3 Portable launch trailer. It reminds people that there's a 25th Dark Hour to every day. During that time, ordinary people appear in coffins, Shadows loom, and people with the Persona potential can explore. The player, who is either the male protagonist Makoto or female one Kotone, joins with a group of high schoolers called SEES to explore Tartarus, a dungeon that only appears during the Dark Hour, to face these mysterious enemies and search for the truth behind the situation.

Next, here's the Persona 4 Golden launch trailer. After coming to stay with his detective uncle and young cousin in the quiet town of Inaba, Yu and his new friends become entangled in a mystery that sees people being thrown into a TV world, assaulted by Shadows, and then killed if they don't step in to save them. The group becomes determined to find out who the murderer is, all while still juggling daily school life.

As there is also an option to buy both games in a bundle, there's also a bundle trailer too.

Fire Emblem Engage Has About 650 Support Conversations, 1,300 Bond Ones

The final part of Nintendo's Fire Emblem Engage interview series went over both Support and Bond conversations present in the game. Intelligent Systems Director Tsutomu Tei also confirmed a range of how many people can see in the game. He noted "there are about 650 conversations" when it comes to general supports, then "about 1,300 conversations" for Emblem character Bond events. He also reiterated that these are fully voiced.

Here is Tei's full quote from the interview when discussing the number of character combinations and Support conversations in Fire Emblem Engage.

We couldn't manage to create one for all character combinations, but there are about 650 conversations between the characters. And we have prepared Bond conversations for all Emblems, which is about 1,300 conversations. There's quite a lot of content there for those who want to listen to every conversation. (Laughs)

Tei also confirmed that people will only experience one route in the game. As a reminder, both Fire Emblem Fates and Three Houses featured multiple storylines.

Since this game's story doesn't branch out into multiple storylines, I hope players will enjoy choosing the pairs they like and strengthening their favorite characters to their heart's content.

In past installments in this series, the team revealed Alear and Celine were the first characters designed and Alear was designed to be a relatable protagonist.

Fire Emblem Engage will come to the Nintendo Switch on January 20, 2023.

nitocris alter

The Fate/Grand Order Lostbelt 7 Part 2 pick-up banner features Nitocris Alter, who is the first of the new Servants to appear. She is an SSR Avenger. Even if you miss your chance to get her now, she will appear in the permanent banner afterwards. The Nitocris Alter pick-up banner will run until February 1, 2023 on the Japanese Fate/Grand Order server.

Lasengle has released a trailer for Nitocris Alter. It shows off her attack animations, as well as her Noble Phantasm. As opposed to the normal Nitocris (whether it is her Caster form or her Assassin form), Nitocris Alter has a much more aggressive and hands-on fighting style. You can view her trailer here:

https://twitter.com/fgoproject/status/1615639283297300485

Outside of her final skill, Nitocris Alter's kit focuses on buffing herself or increasing the performance of her cards. Her last skill will increase the party's Arts performance, as well as grant various buffs to Good characters. However, this buff has a 60% chance of success. So if you are unlucky, you may only get the Arts boost. As for her Noble Phantasm, Neferu Suen Anubis: Unseal the Path to My Beautiful Underworld, it is an Arts attack that can deal damage to all enemies. Like the other versions of Nitocris, it has a chance to instantly kill all enemies.

Fate/Grand Order is readily available on mobile devices. Nitocris Alter is on pick-up for the Japanese server of Fate/Grand Order, and she will appear in the story gacha after February 1, 2023.

Max Factory Ryza Figure

After an earlier delay, Good Smile Company announced a final release window for the upcoming Max Factory Atelier Ryza figure. It'll ship in Japan in February 2023, and costs 29,800 Yen (about $233 USD). The figure was first revealed in late 2021.
[Thanks, Hobby Watch!]

The Max Factory Ryza figure was originally set for a March 2022 release window, but it was delayed several times. The figure stands at 16.5 cm tall (about 6.5 inches), and is made to 1/6th scale. The image depicts Atelier Ryza protagonist Reisalin Stout dressed in her costume from the first game. She sits on a step, putting on her boots, which have an open toe. The figure also includes scenery, including Ryza's bag, tools, plants, and other parts of the wall where she sits. Her yellow vest can also be removed for a more casual look. The design of the figure is based on the illustration created for Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & The Secret Hideout's premium box packaging.

[gallery columns="1" size="large" ids="947516" link="file"]

Ryza's costume has changed across the three Atelier Ryza games. Her first outfit, depicted in the Max Factory Ryza figure, featured her signature leggings, as well as short red pants and a yellow jacket. For Atelier Ryza 2, Ryza switched to boots, with an asymmetrical legging. She also wore a lapelled jacket and a buttoned undershirt with a teal tie. In Atelier Ryza 3 she'll have a more robust outfit, with a leather vest, full coat, and closed-toe boots.

The Max Factory Ryza figure ships in February 2023. Atelier Ryza 3, the final game in the trilogy, launches on March 23, 2023 for PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

Dokapon Kingdom: Connect will be a straightforward port of Dokapon Kindgom for the PS2 and Wii consoles. The PS2 and Wii versions were a remake of a Super Famicom title. The first game in the Dokapon series released for the Super Famicom in 1994 under the title Dokapon 3, 2, 1: Arashi o Yobu Yuujou, which roughly translates to Dokapon 3, 2, 1: A Stormy Friendship.      Project Q Canceled 2D ArtLast April, Ubisoft informed players that it had a game codenamed Project Q in development. A PvP team battle arena game, Project Q would have allowed players to, according to Ubisoft "truly own the experience." Naturally, players had a few questions regarding what exactly this new game would entail, including whether or not it would eventually feature NFTs despite Ubisoft's assurances to the contrary. However, it seems that players will never truly find out the answers to these questions, as Ubisoft told VGC that it has canceled Project Q. This news comes less than a year after the company initially revealed of the game. Initially, reports of Project Q's cancelation came courtesy of Inside Gaming in a piece published yesterday. Since then, a Ubisoft spokesperson confirmed those reports with VGC, saying that the company canned the game "to focus on priority projects."      Nocturnal Pc Announcement Spring 2023Swiss indie game developer Sunnyside Games is partnering with Dear Villagers, the publisher behind smaller-scale hits such as The Forgotten City and The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos, to produce Nocturnal, a stylish side-scrolling platformer due on PC in the first half of 2023. The odyssey places the flame-wielding protagonist Ardeshir in a world consumed by an anomalous mist. Once the predominant genre on the 8- and 16-bit systems of yesteryear, 2D platformers have more or less fallen from the limelight in the AAA space. However, the indie development scene is keeping these sorts of experiences very much alive, and Nocturnal looks to be in line with recent genre staples like Blasphemous or the thematically similar Firegirl. Coupled with a vibrant, clean art style, fans with a penchant for this particular niche may want to keep an eye on Nocturnal.
