Galactic roguelike deckbuilder Starless Abyss just got a new Steam demo

If you're looking for a game with tactical spaceship combat and massive galactic battles, the RTS genre is usually where you'd turn. But Starless Abyss aims to give you a similarly intense strategic experience, but in the form of a turn-based, deckbuilding roguelike. It delivers it with a cool, retro-Eldritch aesthetic too. If that sounds like a bit of you, then I've got great news for you - ahead of Steam Next Fest, Starless Abyss has just dropped its debut demo that you can download and play right now.

Black Ops 6 Season 2 Reloaded details

When is the Black Ops 6 Season 2 Reloaded release date? The first season reload of Black Ops 6 and Warzone arrived at the end of last year, spinning up the annual content cycle in style. Following a loaded content drop with season start, Season 1 Reloaded brought with it a huge new Zombies map, a winter event, and more. Suffice it to say, a tantalizing precedent was set ahead of Season 2.

And it didn't disappoint. The latest Zombies map, The Tomb, features a beautiful-but-terrifying portal to 'Nowhere', and we got a bunch of new Black Ops 6 modes, including the return of Gun Game, a true test of your ability. SEason 2 Reloaded might be a smaller update than usual, but there's still a huge event for TMNT fans and some fantastic new weapons. Plus, a not-so-subtle hint for another popular game franchise. Here's a rundown of everything available in Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 2 Reloaded.

However, it's also packing an even more exciting reference to another beloved franchise.      Clair Obscur Expedition 33 system requirements demand RTX 3070 to hit 60fps

What are the Clair Obscur Expedition 33 system requirements? Following its reveal during the Xbox Games Showcase in 2024, much hype has been built up around Expedition 33, but it now looks like you might need to consider an upgrade or two for your gaming PC to meet the recommended specs.

While you won't need the best graphics card to run Clair Obscure Expedition 33 on high settings at 1080p, an update or two could be warranted if your gaming PC is already starting to feel sluggish in modern games. That being said, the newfound trap of minimum requirements only being good for 720p gameplay isn't present here, so even if you only meet those, your gameplay experience will be fine.

Both Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 and 5060 launches delayed, new rumor suggests

It looks like both the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 release dates could be pushed back due to an issue with the mass production of the chips. After some "chip performance issues" were detected, a round of debugging has had to be put into effect, pushing back full scale roll out of the GPUs. That's all according to a new rumor that suggests the production schedule of both these mid-tier Nvidia cards could be pushed back to mid-March at the earliest.

This is another fly in the ointment for Nvidia, following the launch of its latest RTX 50-series that has seen both RTX 5090 stock and RTX 5080 stock almost impossible to find, making it very difficult for gamers to pick up one of the best graphics cards for themselves. Despite earlier rumors of a February launch, the RTX 5070 has also since seen an early March release window speculated online, while recent RTX 5060 launch rumors now point to that card coming in April instead.

If you glance at my PCGamesN author profile, you'd make the assumption that my Steam library is full of high fantasy adventures and bloody, vampire-focused RPGs.      Severely underrated zombie survival game World War Z is totally free right now

From the former Umbrella employee chewing on Kevin in Resident Evil right up to the fleshy fodder of Dead Island, Dying Light, and State of Decay, the humble zombie remains a videogame mainstay. We've shot them, chopped them, zapped them with electricity - we've killed zombies by the millions, using every method imaginable. But World War Z, the supremely underrated and underplayed undead survival sim from Saber, offers something unique.      PUBG creator's Prologue is a punishing survival game with millions of maps

Snow starts to fall around me. It's serene, but I know that in Prologue, the upcoming survival game from PlayerUnknown Productions, it signals my impending demise. A blizzard is fast approaching. My only hope is to find one of the cabins scrawled onto my map, and with more help from lady luck than my woeful orienteering skills, I find a little wooden sanctuary. Some of the windows are shattered, and the cupboards are bare except for a couple bags of rice and some tins of soup. Aside from the dim glow of a light bulb, it's dark - I need my torch, which I just dropped with a mispress of a key. Disaster. But as the raging blizzard subsides, some more extreme weather begins to roll in. A thunderstorm, with crackles of lightning that illuminate the cabin for a brief moment. After a few flashes, I spot my torch and then gratefully reclaim it. Maybe, just maybe, I'll make it to the end of this run.

One of my Xmas selection box games last year was Withering Rooms, a delightfully frightful haunted house action-RPG that balances mazey Metroidvania level design with the ability to be a witch who can supersize herself and gallop around on suits of magic armour. With a quick glance over my shoulder at our dear friend Sir Eugene Optimisation, I dare to describe it as a bit like Bloodborne, if Bloodborne had been made by a tiny independent developer.

Also rather Bloodborney: the recently revealed Withering Realms, a sequel of sorts in which you play a ghost girl clinging to the back of a customisable combat doll. Sir Eugene Optimisation requests I add here that the doll conceit reminds him of well-received Soulslike Lies Of P. Which is a fair observation, I think, though I would also say the doll's lipless, one-eyed grimace reminds me of Mouthwashing. How's that, Eugene – three for three? Anyway, here's a trailer.

Any desert delver you produce with said creator can be imported to the full game at launch.

Inspired by Monster Hunter's Hunting Horn, I've recently gotten into the habit of making characters who look like Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson. I'm not sure Dune: Awakening has sufficiently puckish hair to support this - not many big frizzy gingers in the Dune universe, in my experience. But I'm willing to give it a shot, for science. Chirpy cockney urchin Strauss Zelnick recently hailed the "increasing" importance of the PC market in the lead up to Grand Theft Auto 6's release this autumn. Could it mean we're getting the open world crimeathon the same time as consoles? Buddy, we don't even get updates the same time as consoles. Things might be speeding up on that front at least, based on an email Colin Rockstar sent us earlier. On March 4th, they're giving us some nice gubbins for GTA 5 that they previously saw fit to exclusively roll out on machines that don't even have the original Minesweeper.

The upgrade is free "with a one-time Character Migration flow to bring over your Story Mode and Online progress", and offers new vehicles and vehicle performance upgrades, animal encounters, new graphics options, and faster loading time. There's also a "and much more" in there but Colin loves saying that. You can find the full details on Rockstar's website here.

New Genshin Impact Amazon Store Merchandise Stars Shenhe, Wriothesley

Now that the winter season set in, there seems to be a Cryo front in the Genshin Impact Amazon storefront, as HoYoVerse announced it is stocking merchandise based on the five-stars Shenhe and Wriothesley. The items based on the former are keyboards, while the latter's items are accessories from the company's Impression Apparel series.

In the case of the Lonesome Transcendence Shenhe Genshin Impact merchandise, there are two mechanical keyboard options that use two different types of switches. One has the Kailh Aurora Ice Cream switch that is lighter and smoother, while the other is the BOX Autumn switch that offers more feedback and makes more of a noise. Both varieties have keycaps that feature special Shenhe art on the backspace, \, Enter, and right Shift keys, as well as ones with icons or art the space bar, Tab, Caps Lock, Menu, Ctrol, F3, and Number Lock. Alternates are provided, for those who want a more traditional appearance. Custom lighting is also available. Both varieties cost $165.99.

Here's how those models would look:

As for the Genshin Impact Wriothesley items on the Amazon Store, there are three new Impression Apparel pieces. The least expensive is a black plush hat with cat ears and patches based on the character. That costs $29.99. A chain necklace with black accessories and a charm is $35.99. Finally, there's an $89.99 black backpack with silver chains and red accents.

This is what all of those items look like:

This comes as one of the characters is poised to return in-game for a rerun banner. Wriothesley is back in 5.4. He'll show up in the second half after the Yumemizuki Mizuki and Sigwinne banners. We haven't seen Shenhe in Genshin Impact in almost two years, as her first rerun banner appeared in March 2023 alongside an Ayaka one, following her January 2022 debut.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices.

A figurine of Noko Shikanoko from My Deer Friend Nokotan. Her mouth is open and her hands are beside her head, imitating antlers with her fingers. She is wearing a Japanese school uniform with a light blue tie

Good Smile opened up global pre-orders for a 1/6 scale figure of Noko Shikanoko from the anime My Deer Friend Nokotan. Manufactured by FREEing, this figure sees Nokotan strike her iconic antler pose from the anime opening. Due to her size, the company listed the figure's price at $203.99 on Good Smile US and ¥22,000 on the Japanese storefront.

Nokotan stands at approximately 27cm (10.63 inches, 270mm) high. She comes complete with a transparent oval base. As this is a standard scale figure, there are no additional accessories. This also means she only arrives with the one pose and no face plates.

Here's how FREEing's Noko Shikanoko figure looks:

Pre-orders in Japan run from February 20 to April 16, 2025, with an expected shipping date of October 2025. US pre-orders are open for the same period, though shipping for it is estimated for Q1 2026. Noko Shikanoko is also available to pre-order through Good Smile partner sites.

Notably, Shikanoko Noki is a character with very few figures available. Good Smile revealed a Nokotan Nendoroid figure in October 2024 and recently showcased its unpainted prototype at WonHobby 39. However, further details regarding accessories or a pre-order window have not yet been revealed.

My Deer Friend Nokotan is available to watch dubbed or subbed through Crunchyroll and Amazon Prime. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga in North America and other English-speaking countries outside of Japan.

Vampire Hunter D OVA Heads to Movie Theaters in April

The Vampire Hunter D OVA is going to appear in movie theaters in April 2025 as part of a promotion to celebrate the novel, manga, and anime. This adaptation first launched in 1985 in Japan. Showings will air on three days, and tickets are now available through the official Iconic site.

In this OVA, D is enlisted to aid Doris in helping defeat the vampire Count Lee. She's been bitten and, in so doing, became his target. The hope is that by fighting back, she and everyone threatened by the Count's existence can be saved.

In terms of showings, it seems that there might only be one per day at each location taking part. Showings will only take place on April 9, 2025, April 10, 2025, and April 13, 2025. It appears to be about $15 per ticket, though this may vary depending on your location.

Front Mission Structure Arts Zenith V model kit revealed for series 30th anniversary

Square Enix revealed that it is working with Kotobukiya to produce and release a new Front Mission Structure Arts model kit of Zenith V. The new kit will appear to help celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Front Mission series. It will be available in July 2025 at 14,080 yen (~$94.10).

The new model kit will stand at around 13.2 cm (~5.2 inches) tall with a scale of 1/48 when completed. This scale will be larger than the 1/72 kits Square Enix used to release on its own. The package will also come with various armaments for the Wanzer unit on the same scale.

Square Enix and Kotobukiya will also offer a bonus pair of Keen Sabers exclusively on their respective Japanese web stores, although they have no known legal way to ship the product internationally. People residing outside Japan can more easily place orders on websites like AmiAmi, Hobby Search, and HobbyLink Japan, but neither of them includes the aforementioned weapons.

More sample images for the completed model kit are also available right below:

Square Enix has been working with Forever Entertainment to release remakes of the first three mainline Front Mission games. Two of them—Front Mission 1st Remake and Front Mission 2 Remake—are now available worldwide on the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. As of February 2025, Front Mission 3 Remake is still under development with Nintendo Switch as its first intended platform.

The Front Mission Structure Arts Plus 30th Anniversary edition model kit of Zenith V will be available in July 2025.

Honkai Impact 3rd Twitch Drops Event Announced

While the 8.1 update arrives for Honkai Impact 3rd on February 20, 2025, a new Twitch Drops event started to help lead into it. HoYoVerse announced the promotion on social media. People can immediately collect Crystals, which they could then put toward things like a Supplies gacha banner, and other items for watching.

Taking part is a fairly simple process. First, someone needs to have both a HoYoVerse ID and Twitch account. You then need to head to the event page to link the two of them. All streams in the game's category count. You then have until March 20, 2025 to watch streams to get rewards. In addition to the Crystals, the official banner also icons for items like Asterite, Phase Shifters, Stamina Potions.

However, the number of Crystals you can get during the Honkai Impact 3rd Twitch Drops event isn't very substantial. Only up to 120 can be earned for taking part. For context, you need 280 to pull on a Battlesuit Supply or AstralOp Supply banner. A Dorm Supply banner is slightly cheaper at 200 Crystals per pull.

In addition to the Honkai Impact 3rd Twitch Drops event, there's a new trailer for the game. When the 8.1 update arrives, the new Kiana Kaslana Battlesuit Ba-Dum! Fiery Wishing Star will appear. It's a new S-rank version of the character. The extended video begins by introducing who she is and showing her during a festival. From there, it shifts focus to gameplay to show how she'll attack and inflict Passion Marks on enemies to help deal additional damage.

Here's that new trailer. If you turn on closed captions, an official English translation is available.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dq7oUgG-IUc&ab_channel=HonkaiImpact3rd

A Theresa Apocalypse AstralOps unit will also debut in the 8.1 update.

Honkai Impact 3rd is available for PCs and mobile devices, and the 8.1 update is on the way on February 20, 2025.

Dragon Ball Arise figures of Yajirobe and Karin

Plex has revealed a new figure set featuring Yajirobe and Karin from the Dragon Ball franchise. The company has also opened pre-orders for the figures, which will be part of the Dragon Ball Arise lineup, on the Japanese Premium Bandai website. [Thanks, Dengeki Hobby Web!]

The package will contain two separate PVC figures that have also been pre-painted. Karin's figure will have an overall height of around 8 cm (~3.15 in), while the bigger Yajirobe's figure will stand at around 23 cm (~9.05 in) tall. The latter will also have a one-star Dragon Ball hanging around his neck.

The figure set will be available in May 2025 with an MSRP of 27,500 yen (~$183.55). Even though the Premium Bandai website has been infamous for its regional blocks, the Japanese press release has indicated that there is a possibility for the set to be formally sold outside Japan as well.

There has been a variety of new Dragon Ball merchandise appearing in Japan. On the 2024 Christmas Day, Banpresto released an ultra-long plush of Shenron from Dragon Ball Super in crane games across Japan's amusement centers.

The Dragon Ball Arise figure set featuring Yajirobe and Karin will be available in Japan in May 2025. Plex will close the pre-order window for the figures on Premium Bandai on March 6, 2025.

Samurai Pizza Cats is the inspiration for a new game, and it's designed to look exactly like the original anime series.

Blast Zero is working on Samurai Pizza Cats: Blast from the Past, a new game based on the anime series, and will release it in 2026. While exact platforms weren't specified, it will appear on consoles and PCs. The Steam page is already live for the title.

Samurai Pizza Cats: Blast from the Past features multiple playable characters from the series, with initial imagery showing Speedy Cerviche, Guido Anchovy, and Polly Esther. Seymour "Big" Cheese and his minions are up to no good, and it's up to the team to save the day again. We see Speedy exploring an overworld from an overhead perspective, then occasionally encountering a random enemy or altercation. This shifts things to a 2D level that looks like a platformer, but also involves action-RPG gameplay. Each cat features their own specialties, and you can swap them out. There will also be a card-based system for summons and abilities.

Here's the first trailer for the game, which appeared on IGN's channel. It featured the English voice acting, which includes Dean Hagopian as The Big Cheese again.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayAjwXFEtdc&ab_channel=IGN

An array of initial screenshots also shows off how the game will look. The design direction is intended to mimic the appearance of the show.

Samurai Pizza Cats: Blast from the Past will appear on consoles and PCs in 2026, though exact platforms for the game weren't confirmed, and the original 52 episodes of the anime can be found on Peacock.

Dynasty Warriors Origins female characters - how their stories fared

The Dynasty Warriors series, despite taking place in a historical period with numerous male heroes, has been known for also featuring many female figures who appeared in the same era. However, Koei Tecmo and Omega Force somehow opted to omit many of them in Dynasty Warriors Origins—including even those who are still relevant in the covered period. There are still several female characters appearing in Dynasty Warriors Origins, but their relevancies in the game's storyline and its connections to historical and folklore sources vary.

Dynasty Warriors Origins female characters - Sun Shangxiang
Screenshot by Siliconera

Out of the four recurring female characters who return in Dynasty Warriors Origins, Sun Shangxiang is arguably the one who has the most spotlight; partly because she is also the only female character available as a playable companion. Shangxiang also stands out as the heroine of the Sun Wu faction, as she helps encourage her brother Sun Quan and other officers in the faction following the historical deaths of Sun Jian and Sun Ce.

Those well-versed in the Chinese Three Kingdoms lore will know that Sun Shangxiang is destined to marry one of the two other major faction leaders. However, that event is still irrelevant for the timeframe covered in Dynasty Warriors Origins. As such, I find her approach toward the protagonist Ziluan in her bond events completely acceptable within the game's scope.

Dynasty Warriors Origins female characters - Huang Yueying
Screenshot by Siliconera

Yueying, or as I prefer to call her by her full name Huang Yueying, is the sole female character in Liu Bei's eventual Shu Han kingdom who appears in Dynasty Warriors Origins. She is also the only one whose husband—Zhuge Liang—is also present. But I just find it a bit perplexing why Omega Force hid their marriage status before their formal appearances, even when the player could visit both of them earlier via bond events.

In the Dynasty Warriors series, Yueying is also usually credited for inventing machines like the Juggernauts, which are better explained by their Japanese name: Tiger Tanks. However, such armaments are not relevant yet in Dynasty Warriors Origins' timeframe, as they would usually appear later after the Shu kingdom has been established.

Yueying's bond events in this game also describe her mechanical doll inventions, but we didn't actually see those in motion either, so I can't help but feel like her opportunity to stand out in the storyline does not appear as much.

Dynasty Warriors Origins female characters - Zhenji
Screenshot by Siliconera

I already had some reservations when Koei Tecmo confirmed the appearance of Zhenji but without Cao Pi joining her. So I was instead expecting the team to delve deeper into her earlier life when she was married to Yuan Xi. That expectation unfortunately ended up going off-mark as well.

When you first meet Zhenji in the game's story, she was still living with her own family before she was then wedded to the Yuan clan. However, the game does not even cover her life in the latter clan outside of two encounters during battles, and she was not even accompanied by her then-husband on either occasion. Those factors ultimately made the encounter between Zhenji and Yuan Xi during Cao Cao's final battle against the Yuan clan very shallow.

The short point here is: If you only care about Zhenji as *your* waifu, you will undoubtedly enjoy her bond events, where your character gets to develop a relationship with her. But as someone who has invested deeply in the history of the Chinese Three Kingdoms period, I feel like Zhenji's appearance becomes way too detached from the game's overall lore.

I still stand by my initial wishlist where Cai Wenji would have fit much better as the female representative for the Cao Wei faction in Dynasty Warriors Origins' roster. Other than possible contributions towards stages that involved rescuing her from foreign tribes, Cai Wenji could have also complemented Cao Cao's passion for poetry as close friends.

Dynasty Warriors Origins female characters - Diaochan
Screenshot by Siliconera

I would say Diaochan has the most interesting depiction among the female characters appearing in Dynasty Warriors Origins. The appearance of her foster father Wang Yun as a semi-unique character does also help flesh out her personality further, but I'm particularly amazed that Omega Force opted to depict her as the true love interest for the game's protagonist Ziluan.

I've also noticed that the team has been toning down Diaochan's relationship with Lu Bu ever since it added his daughter Lu Lingqi in Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends. After all, Diaochan and Lu Lingqi are not related at all. But even when Lu Lingqi is completely absent from Dynasty Warriors Origins, Diaochan still preferring Ziluan over Lu Bu sounds like a very bold decision from the game's development team.

The interpretation of Diaochan in Dynasty Warriors Origins, however, is greatly hampered by omissions in the depiction of the successful assassination of Dong Zhuo which is more relevant to history books and novels. The game does not even give the player an option to side with Dong Zhuo in the Hulao Gate campaign. That means those who are newly learning about the historical period end up getting deprived of details on Wang Yun's ultimate mission for Diaochan to seduce both Dong Zhuo and Lu Bu to create a rift between the two, which was actually elaborated more in the series' prior mainline entries.

Dynasty Warriors Origins female characters - Zhuhe
Screenshot by Siliconera

And of course, we do actually have a fifth female character with the new addition of Zhuhe. Just like the other people from the Guardian of Peace group, she is a completely fictional character made up for the original protagonist's background story. However, talking about Zhuhe's overall involvement in this game's storyline would constitute major spoilers.

So without touching that aspect, I would rather argue that Zhuhe could have been well-placed as an alternative playable female protagonist for Dynasty Warriors Origins. I could totally see her swapping positions with the game's established protagonist Ziluan in all cutscenes, including those involving their past.

Dynasty Warriors Origins is available worldwide on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC.

pokemon concierge youtube

To celebrate Pokemon Day 2025, The Pokemon Company will upload all four episodes of Pokemon Concierge onto YouTube. They'll only be available until March 9, 2025. The stop-motion show typically requires a Netflix subscription.

The Pokemon Company will upload one episode per day starting on February 21, 2025. These will appear in the official Pokemon Concierge playlist, which you can find here. Since all the videos for Pokemon Concierge are available even for those outside of Japan, the full episodes likely won't be region-locked.

This is just one of many celebratory campaigns for Pokemon Day, which will take place on February 27, 2025. The Pokemon Company also announced a Pokemon Presents stream will air on that date.

Pokemon Concierge is a stop-motion ONA (original net animation) that came out in 2023 as a Netflix exclusive. This means that the limited YouTube run will be the only chance for those without a Netflix subscription or access to the service to legally watch the show. Pokemon Concierge focuses on a woman named Haru, who becomes a concierge at the Pokemon Resort after she visits it. During her time at the resort, she befriends the employees and Pokemon there, as well as help them with their problems. You can read or review of it here.

Pokemon Concierge will appear on YouTube for a limited time.

Killing Floor 3 getting new skills guide

Killing Floor 3 has different Specialists to choose from for players, and all of them have their own dedicated set of skills to unlock.

As you level up a Specialist, you'll gain access to a detailed skill tree with different options to choose from. Each skill tree has various options, and quite often, you'll have to sacrifice one in favor of another. Let's take a look at how you can progress through the skill tree and make your Specialists even more powerful.

How to get new skills in Killing Floor 3

Whenever you complete a match, your chosen Specialist will gain a lot of XP. The amount of experience points you get will largely depend on whether you managed to survive all waves or not. Rounds started at higher difficulty will also allow you to level up your Specialists quickly.

Killing Floor 3 Skill tree
Image via Destructoid

The first task is to gain as much XP as possible. If you check my screenshot above, you'll see that a lot of skill paths are currently locked, as I haven't leveled up my Specialist. As you keep leveling up, you'll be unlocking different paths.

Once you have unlocked a path, you'll have to make a crucial decision: choose the skills you want to unlock and upgrade. For that, you'll have to spend your Proficiency Points carefully. While you can always get these points by completing objectives and playing more, they aren't available in unlimited amounts.

Additionally, Proficiency Points are required to upgrade your skills as they can be improved. If you have been using a skill and its effects, you can invest more Proficiency Points to make it even better. Of course, that will automatically mean that you'll have to miss out on other skills and their effects.

In the beta, the main way of obtaining Proficiency Points is just to play the game. It's better to prioritize playing with a Specialist you love as it will allow you to gain more points, which in turn will allow you to improve it faster.

It's best to experiment as much as possible in the beta, and you should look to try different builds with all the available Specialists. Once Killing Floor 3 gets a full launch in March 2025, the aim should be to get more meta builds that will help you to operate your Specialists in the most efficient manner possible.

Complete Verse Piece Trade Value List

All items, sets, and battlepasses in the Verse Piece trade value list below are color-coded by their rarity in-game. However, their accessibility has to be taken into account when evaluating them.

Trade Value List of Sets

Some swords and specs, despite their low combat usability, can be worth a lot of Race Rerolls simply because of their collector's value. In general, sets that include limited rare materials are way more expensive than the ones you can grind at the moment. Sets only include tradeable materials. So, the remaining components, such as titles, traits, and races, you will have to obtain yourself.

How to Trade in Verse Piece

To list your items for trade or find trade offers from other players, visit the trade section of the Verse Piece Discord server. Making a sale listing is simple; just mimic the listing form of other players in the trade channel. If you want to initiate a trade yourself, use Discord's search feature to find specific items and then DM players that have them.

  • A preview of the menu buttons in Verse Piece Roblox experience with the Trade button highlighted
  • Preview of the trade window in Verse Piece Roblox experience

Once you've both agreed on a trade, join the same Verse Piece server and click on the purple trade button at the same time to initiate a trade. After you put your items into the trade window, check if the other player did the same and press the "Confirm" button. After a 5-second delay, your trade will go through unless you decide to cancel it for whatever reason.

I hope the above value list helps you trade your way up to some sick items in Verse Piece. If you are looking to claim some freebies in VP, then make sure to check out our Verse Piece codes.

Phoebe in Wuthering Waves

Phoebe strikes a unique balance between complexity and ease in Wuthering Waves, making her both fun and powerful to play. If you're pulling for her, learning how to set her up, optimize her kit, and master her mechanics will help you maximize her strengths.

Best Phoebe build in Wuthering Waves

Phoebe is a highly unique character in that she has two separate stance stances that actively determine her role. She is a Spectro Main DPS when in her Absolution stance, and a Spectro Sub-DPS when in her Confession stance. More on her stances shortly. Her weapon of choice is the Rectifier, and she is focused on dealing ranged damage.

Before we can dive into Phoebe's core game plan, you need to understand exactly how her rather complete kit works in conjunction with the Spectro Frazzle debuff.

Spectro Frazzle

Spector Frazzle in Wuthering Waves

Spectro Frazzle is a DoT (Damage over Time) status that stacks up 10 times, and a 'tick' will reduce that stack by one. Each 'tick' deals damage based on how many stacks are currently active on the target.

Phoebe's damage, as a Main DPS, is completely reliant on a target having at least one Spectro Frazzle stack applied to them. This is because Phoebe's most powerful DPS tool, Heavy Attack: Starflash, gains a walloping 256% DMG Amplification to targets afflicted with Spectro Frazzle, while she is in Absolution stance. This is the single most important aspect of Phoebe's kit, so remember it as I proceed. While in Confession stance, Phoebe's Heavy Attack: Starflash, instead, applies five Spectro Frazzle to all targets hit.

Absolution Stance

Phoebe's Absolution in Wuthering Waves

Absolution is Phoebe's Main DPS stance, and the one she will be in for a majority of her on-field time. Phoebe can choose to enter Absolution Stance every 24 seconds by holding Heavy Attack, which allows her to cast Heavy Attack: Starflash four times. You want all four Starflashes to land while your target has Spectro Frazzle on them. Otherwise, Phoebe's damage will be quite poor and underwhelming. In summary:

  • Hold Heavy Attack to enter Absolution Stance
  • Basic Attack until you can use Heavy Attack: Starflash
  • Use Heavy Attack: Starflash on enemies with Spectro Frazzle
  • Heavy Attack: Starflash can be used four times
  • Heavy Attack: Starflash deals 254% more damage to Spectro Frazzle targets

Confession Stance

Phoebe's Confession in Wuthering Waves

Confession is Phoebe's Sub-DPS stance and the one that Phoebe will not be in for most rotations. Phoebe can choose to enter Confession stance every 24 seconds by holding Skill, which allows Phoebe's Heavy Attack: Starflash can be cast two times, with each one applying five stacks of Spectro Frazzle on targets hit. Confession stance Starflashes do not deal much damage, as a result, as the point is the Spectro Frazzle application. You want to land both Starflashes so that the target(s) have the maximum amount of Spectro Frazzle stacks, which is 10. In summary:

  • Hold Skill to enter Confession Stance
  • Basic Attack until you can use Heavy Attack: Starflash
  • Heavy Attack: Starflash can used twice
  • Heavy Attack: Starflash applies five stacks of Spectro Frazzle each.

Forte Circuit

Now that you understand Spectro Frazzle and Phoebe's two stances, it's time to talk about her two Forte Circuit mechanics: Divine Voice and Prayer.

Phoebe's Forte in Wuthering Waves

Prayer is what determines when Phoebe is allowed to enter one of her two stances. Prayer fills up over time, and when it is full, Phoebe can enter either Absolution or Confession stance. When you invoke one of her stances, it takes 24 seconds before Prayer fills back up to full, thus allowing you the option of entering one stance once more.

Divine Voice is the second part of her Forte, and it determines how many times Phoebe can cast Heavy Attack: Starflash when in Absolution or Confession stance. Phoebe can only gain Divine Voice while:

  • While she is in a Stance
  • Following her third Basic ATK in a string

Only after both criteria above are met will Phoebe be able to cast Heavy Attack: Starflash.

Resonance Skill

Phoebe's Resonance Skill places a large yellow circle on the ground nearby or at a target's location. This circle will cause enemies inside to stagnate for two seconds, preventing all movement entirely. Note that enemies moving in and out of the circle will not cause the stagnation effect. For enemies to be affected by stagnate, they must have been within the circle's AoE at the moment of the cast. Stagnate works on bosses.

Phoebe's Resonance Skill in Wuthering Waves

When Phoebe attacks from outside of the circle and hits it, her attacks bounce off the circle's inner edges, dealing bonus damage and grouping enemies toward the center. When Phoebe attacks from within the circle, her basic attacks deal more damage to all enemies, and her attacks and gain significantly increased AoE. Ideally, Phoebe should be within her circle as much as possible for maximum DPS when attacking.

Using her Resonance Skill again following a previous cast (within 10 seconds) will allow Phoebe to teleport to the center of the circle. During the initial cast animation until the teleportation animation ends, Phoebe is impervious to all damage.

Resonance Liberation

Phoebe's Resonance Liberation in Wuthering Waves
Screenshot by Destructoid

Phoebe's Resonance Liberation is nothing complex. She invokes a massive Spectro nuke in a big AoE around herself that deals a bunch of damage. However, the stance Phoebe is in when casting it does dramatically change its effects.

  • Absolution Stance - Deals 255% more Damage
  • Confession Stance - Applies eight stacks of Spectro Frazzle to all targets hit.

You will want to be in Absolution Stance in a majority of cases before you use Phoebe's Resonance Liberation for maximum damage.

Absolution vs Confession Stance

Phoebe fighting in Wuthering Waves

Phoebe requires Spectro Frazzle to deal significant damage in Absolution stance, but she cannot apply Spectro Frazzle unless she is in Confession Stance. This means that Phoebe must open in Confession stance and, after 24 seconds, enter Absolution stance to deal her damage. This is not efficient.

Instead, have Phoebe in Absolution Stance at all times and pair with a teammate who can apply Spectro Frazzle. Phoebe should be paired with Spectro Rover, so that she can function effectively. This will likely change as new Resonators are released. However, Phoebe will always need a teammate who can apply Spectro Frazzle to function as a main DPS. Future characters likely will give her Confession stance a use case, but for now, just use Absolution stance.

In Summary

Phoebe in her Resonator Showcase (Wuthering Waves)

Phoebe's overall rotation is as follows:

  • Intro Skill
  • Enter Absolution Stance
  • Cast Resonance Skill
  • Basic ATK to gain Divine Voice
  • Cast Heavy Attack: Starflash four times
  • Resonance Liberation
  • Outro

This is Phoebe's very standard rotation every time she is thrown into the field, and what you want to adhere to as much as possible. However, if, for any reason, your enemy does not have Spectro Frazzle applied, do not continue the rotation until they do. I must stress that Phoebe's damage is extremely poor if Spectro Frazzle is not applied to the enemy(s) she is attacking and is not worth the rotation time or Forte wasted.

Best Echoes for Phoebe in Wuthering Waves

Phoebe's Best Echoes in Wuthering Waves

Due to Phoebe's reliance on Spectro Frazzle, she only has one Echo set you should use, which is tailor-made for her.

  • 5-Piece Eternal Radiance - This Echo set gives Phoebe a free 20% increase to Crit RATE and a 15% increase to Spectro DMG for 15 seconds, so long as her target(s) have at least one stack of Spectro Frazzle applied to them. Naturally, Phoebe should always be attacking targets with Spectro Frazzle, making this set's bonus effectively permanent.

Best Weapons of Phoebe in Wuthering Waves

Phoebe's best Echoes in Wuthering Waves

As a Rectifier user, Phoebe is blessed with two viable options in terms of weapon choice.

  • Luminous Hymn - As her signature weapon, Luminous Hymn is tailor-made for Phoebe's focus on Spectro Frazzle, granting her significant damage boosts to most of her kit and even allowing her to amplify the damage of Spectro Frazzle when casting her Outro. It is her BiS (Best in Slot) weapon.
  • Stringmaster - Phoebe can also make extremely good use of the effects Stringmaster provides, thanks to its incredible universal buffs.

Best Team Compositions for Phoebe in Wuthering Waves

Spectro Frazzle being such a paramount part of Phoebe's game plan means that her team compositions must fit around the constant supply and application of this debuff. However, since Phoebe gains so much damage from a target suffering from Spectro Frazzle, she does not need Outro buffs from other characters to perform well. This allows her to use unique dual DPS team comps instead of your standard Sub-DPS/Support setup. Spectro Rover, however, is non-negotiable thanks to their ability to apply Spectro Frazzle.

Phoebe, Spectro Rover, Verina

Phoebe Team Comp in Wuthering Waves

This is one of Phoebe's strongest team comps, and it is also very inexpensive to get functioning. Phoebe is thrown out onto the field after Verina has activated her ATK % buff, and Spectro Rover has applied several stacks (ideally 10) of Spectro Frazzle. Once Phoebe is on the field, she needs to cast all four of her Starflash nukes for maximum damage. Then, simply repeat the cycle until the fight is over.

Phoebe, Spectro Rover, Any DPS

Phoebe Team Comp in Wuthering Waves

This team functions identically to the above-mentioned composition, replacing Verina's support capabilities with simply more DPS instead. Since Phoebe is not sensitive to sub-DPS buffs that require her to stay on the field, she can very easily play in quick-swap comps with any other DPS without losing much of anything. Currently, Phoebe is the only DPS character in Wuthering Waves with this unique benefit.

Best Sequences for Phoebe in Wuthering Waves

Phoebe's Sequences in Wuthering Waves

Phoebe's Sequences are a rather mixed bag in terms of value effectiveness. Early on, her Sequences are quite strong, adding a lot of power to her kit. However, her later Sequences focus less on damage and more on giving her strong utility, which is not really necessary in Wuthering Waves' game state. However, if you're interested in pulling a few dupes for Phoebe, here's what each one does, and their values.

  • Warm Light and Bedside Wishes (S1) - In both stances, it dramatically boosts the DMG of her Resonance Liberation. Additionally, while in Confession stance, Resonance Liberation applies 10 stacks of Spectro Frazzle to all enemies hit. This is decently strong but nothing game-breaking.
  • A Boat Adrift in Tears (S2) - Dramatically boosts the potency of Phoebe's Outro effects in both of her stances, more than doubling the effects. This is very strong because Phoebe uses her Outro often thanks to her fast Concerto generation.

Phoebe in combat (Wuthering Waves)

  • Daisy Wreaths and Dreams (S3) - In Absolution stance, makes her Starflash attack deal 91% increased damage per cast. This is a huge DPS increase. In Confession stance, her Starflash will deal 249% increased DMG, which is even more insane thanks to the implication it offers. This effectively allows Phoebe to deal reasonably high amounts of damage without Spectro Frazzle on her targets, as long as she is in her Confession stance. This is Phoebe's best stopping point and arguably her best Sequence overall.

  • Ringing Bells on Wings Aloft (S4) - Phoebe's Basic attacks will now reduce Spectro resistance of her enemies by 10% for 30 seconds. This is pretty good, but not so much that it's worth investing further into Phoebe unless you enjoy her playstyle. It also futureproofs her for any Spectro DPS.

Spectro Rover applying Spectro Frazzle in Wuthering Waves
Screenshot by Destructoid

  • Prayer to the Distant Light (S5) - When casting Phoebe's Intro Skill, she gains 12% Spectro DMG for 15 seconds. This is Phoebe's weakest Sequence and is not worth going for unless you're going for her S6.
  • Whispering Chirps in Silence (S6) - There's a bit of jargon in this one, but to get to the point: her S6 causes her Resonance Skill's stagnation effect to last double the time, and every time she casts her Resonance Skill, she gets to cast a free Starflash without using any of her resources. She also gains a free 10% ATK bonus for 20 seconds. This does improve her damage quite a bit, but when compared to other S6 characters, it is rather lackluster. However, the stagnation effect is incredibly powerful, so this S6 is more about the utility than the damage.

The rivalry between Marvel Rivals and Blizzard Entertainment may not be as straightforward as it seems—at least not for Marvel Rivals' developer, NetEase.

In its 2024 financial report, NetEase credited Marvel Rivals' stellar launch as a key driver of its gaming division's revenue, despite the game releasing only in early December. The game amassed 10 million players in its first 72 hours and has reached 40 million registered players to date.

But what's even more surprising is that while Marvel Rivals is a direct competitor to Blizzard's Overwatch 2, NetEase is profiting from Blizzard's games at the same time.

Blizzard's titles helped NetEase make profit as a publisher in China

In its 2024 financials, NetEase reported that Blizzard titles were part of their games division success: "Blizzard titles World of Warcraft and Hearthstone continued to generate strong enthusiasm from the Chinese gaming community, while the return of Overwatch 2 on February 19, 2025 further fueled players' passion."

NetEase has been Blizzard's official publisher in China since April 9, 2024, following a renewed publishing agreement. This means NetEase gets paid by Blizzard, most likely including revenue share, for making its games available to players in China. While it's unclear how much of an impact this partnership really has on NetEase's financials, it was enough for them to highlight it.

This marked a turnaround in their relationship, as Blizzard had withdrawn from the Chinese market in January 2023, refusing to renew its contract with NetEase.

However, when Microsoft finalized its acquisition of Activision Blizzard in October 2023, the dynamic shifted. By April 2024, Blizzard and NetEase had reached a new agreement, restoring their partnership.

Blizzard's games returned to China after a long absence—Hearthstone went live again in September 2024, while World of Warcraft relaunched on August 1, 2024.

But Blizzard is feeling the pressure from Marvel Rivals

Despite NetEase profiting from both Marvel Rivals and Blizzard games, Blizzard's Overwatch team is feeling the heat.

With Marvel Rivals' gameplay drawing direct comparisons to Overwatch 2 and its instant success, Overwatch director Aaron Keller admitted that his team is under internal pressure due to the new competition, according to GamesRadar.

Still, even with strong financial results, NetEase made a surprising move—laying off its entire U.S. team working on Marvel Rivals on Feb. 18, 2025.

Path of Exile League Starter Builds for Legacy of Phrecia event

The new Path of Exile Legacy of Phrecia event league is very unique due to its focus: 19 alternate ascendancy classes. These alternate ascendancies will completely change up the viable builds in PoE for both leveling and end-game. Here are some of the best Path of Exile Legacy of Phrecia Event League Starter Builds to help you get into the end game quickly.

Best Legacy of Phrecia Event League Starter Builds

There are plenty of builds from past leagues that will work as league starter builds during the Legacy of Phrecia event in PoE, but we've selected five of the best builds that take advantage of the alternate ascendancies while still having the potential to expand into the end game. Keep in mind most of these builds are somewhat experimental as we don't have access to these alternate ascendancies yet. Here are the best Path of Exile Legacy of Phrecia event league starter builds:

Daughter of Oshabi Poison Deonate Dead Spellslinger

For many leagues, the Ranger class has been spectacular for league starter builds. This build utilizes the Daughter of Oshabi ascendancy with Spellslinger and Detonate Dead of Chain Reaction to quickly start dealing a massive amount of damage. You'll start by leveling with Poisonous Concoction (Pconc) until you reach Merc Lab and then you will switch to the actual build. The Oath of the Magi node for Daughter of Oshabi will provide much of the needed defenses to level into the end-game, allowing you to focus your gearing on damage output. This is a great build for players looking for a Ranger build that has the potential to scale insanely well into the end-game even after the league start.

Recommended Build Guide: Poison DD Spellslinger by Zizaran

Lightning Strike Blind Prophet or Surfcaster

If you're looking for a strong Shadow league starter build, you can't go wrong with Lightning Strike. This build allows you to go with either the Blind Prophet or Surfcaster alternate ascendancy, though you will probably want to start as Blind Prophet and then respec to Surfcaster once you've acquired the unique ring Nimis. This is going to be one of the safest and most dependable league starter builds in the Path of Exile Legacy of Phrecia event, and can even scale well into end game.

Recommended Build Guide: Lightning Strike Prophet/Surfcer by Fubgun

Earthshatter Ancestral Commander

Players looking for a powerful melee option should consider Earthshatter Ancestral Commander, one of the ascendancies for Marauder in the Legacy of Phrecia event. If you're looking to play hardcore during the event, this is the league starter build for you. Ancestral Commander is unique compared to the other alternate ascendancies because while most of them focus on damage, Ancestral Commander has both defensive and offensive nodes making it the ideal option for someone looking to not die.

Recommended Build Guide: Earthshatter Ancestral Commander by cArn_

Frost Blades Gambler

The Gambler alternate ascendancy during the Legacy of Phrecia event is an appealing option due to it being based around, well, luck. For example, here's some of the nodes for Gambler: Spectacular Parlay - Your critical Strike Chance is Lucky, Damage with Hits is Unlucky. Heads - Chance to Block Spell Damage is Lucky, Chance to Block Attack Damage is Unlucky. The ascendancy is built around essentially gambling to have an insanely high ceiling potential, and this Frost Blades build looks to make the most of it. This is an ideal build for someone looking to try something different that has the potential to be the highest damage output during this event.

Recommended Build Guide: Frost Blades Gambler by Zish

Zombie and Skeleton Herald

It wouldn't be a solid selection of league starter builds without one focused on minions, which is where this Zombie and Skeleton Herald build comes into play. The Herald ascendancy for Witch is built around the Herald buffs in Path of Exile, which also affect your minions. If you're looking to play a minion build, Puppeteer for the Templar is also a solid option, but the increased power of heralds should make this an absolute monster of a build for those looking to use minions in the Legacy of Phrecia event.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

Everything in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is decided by the choices that you make while playing, including the depth of your friendships with Nora, Autumn, and Kat. It's possible to romance each of them, but it will take some effort and know-how.

As you play Bloom & Rage, you're naturally going to gravitate towards one of the three girls in your friend group. They're all very unique, with tastes and attitudes that vary wildly. Here's how to grow closer to each of them, or one in particular.

How to build relationships in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

Screenshot by Destructoid

Most of the relationship building is simply common sense, and trying to appeal to each character's likes and dislikes. There are a lot of dialogue choices that you'll encounter along the way with the girls, and you'll instinctively get a feel for what they want to hear.

At times when you can interact with them individually, like in the park when you're looking for Autumn's keys or after you've found your way into the cabin in the woods, it's a good idea to help your favorite character first.

All of these interactions build your relationship with each girl, but four key moments will help you on your way to romance.

How to romance Nora in 1995

Swann and Nora in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage
Screenshot by Destructoid

Nora is the group's rockstar, and she has the most edgy aesthetic. She's into music, hates her Step Mom, and has big aspirations. Growing closer to her is easily done by leaning into her tastes, boosting her ego, and supporting her decisions.

Moment 1: The First Night

While in the park searching for Autumn's keys, you'll find Nora over by the large puddle. Here's the best choices to make during your conversation with her:

Nora's dialogue Best response for Swann
"What else are you filming for your movie? Did I look good?" "You look great on camera!"
"You should move to LA after school. If you're serious about it." "How about we make our own movie?"
"Do you have a boyfriend?" "A boyfriend? Gross!"
"If I were a guy… I'd kiss you." "You'd kiss me!?"

Moment 2: Phone A Friend

In scene 14, you'll have the option to call any of the girls for a chat. If you want to grow closer to Nora, it goes without saying that you should call her. Here's how the conversation should go:

Nora's dialogue Best response for Swann
"Swann! I knew you'd call me!" "Hey!"
"So, you know how the power went out last night? In the middle of your video?" "I was scared, weren't you?"
"Our music video's gonna be all that for real!" "Thanks to you!"
"Dude, you're meeting up with us at the cabin later, right?! You can't abandon me!" "I can't wait to see you!"
"Can I tell you? Please!" "Autumn told you a secret?"
"Don't tell her I told you…" "I won't tell."
"Hey, let's meet up before we go to the cabin!" "Yeah, let's walk together."
"OK - bye, babe! See you later!" "Not if I see you first!"

Moment 3: Nora Malakian, 1995

During scene 17, you'll get a chance to sit down and interview Nora on tape. This is a pivotal point, and your choices during this conversation are perhaps most important to the result.

Here's how to respond to Nora during this interview:

Nora's dialogue Best response for Swann
"Pick a charm!" "Lapis Lazuli's my favorite!"
"This is gonna look so cute on you!" "Thank you…"
"She's so not my mom." "So is Linda like a wicked stepmother?"
"My real mom's so not like that. She's not like a housewife." "I wish I could meet your mom…"

Moment 4: Double Dare

This moment relies on choices made both in 1995 and 2022, and you'll need to have already grown closer to Nora for this to work. During the game of truth or dare inside the cabin, you'll return to 2022 and be able to select one of three options. Make sure to choose the crush option, and then complete the following conversation:

Nora's dialogue Best response for Swann
"Do you have a crush? Tell us his name!" "I have a crush on this musician…"
"Oh, you're into rebels, huh?" "I'll tell you someday…"

How to romance Autumn in 1995

Swann & Autumn in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage
Screenshot by Destructoid

Autumn is the skater girl of the group and the bassist of the Bloom & Rage band. She is confident in herself, and not afraid to stand up for her friends. If you want to grow closer to Autumn, here's how.

Moment 1: The First Night

After her keys have been thrown into the park by Corey, interact with the tunnel and Autumn will ask you to go with her, then you'll get a moment alone with her. Here's how the conversation should go for maximum bonding:

Autumn's dialogue Best response for Swann
"Dude, if I lose my job over this…" "I wish I could have stopped him…"
"It's, like, someone's stuff…" "This looks like a movie set!"
"I love dogs!" "I love all critters!"
"I'm so stressed. I gotta chill." "Would a hug help?"
"What was that?" "Probably a raccoon."

Moment 2: Phone A Friend

When you get the chance to call one of the girls, if you want to build a relationship with Autumn then dial 285-555-5791 and have the following chat:

Autumn's dialogue Best response for Swann
"Dude! I was hoping you'd call!" "Hey!"
"I still can't believe the power went out at Nora's place." "I was scared…"
"Our music video's gonna be da bomb!" "Thanks to you!"
"Hey… I'm so excited to see you again later. You're gonna kick it with us at the cabin, right?" "I can't wait to see you!"
"By the way, there's something I gotta tell you. It's a secret, though…" "A Secret about Nora?"
"Promise you'll take this to your grave." "I promise."
"Dean was there, he saw!" "That's hilarious!"
"Walk with me to the cabin later?" "Yeah, let's walk together."
"Alright, gotta go!" "Bye, babe!"

Moment 3: Autumn Lockhart, 1995

Autumn's interview actually comes pretty early on, directly after the scene where you find her keys. Here are the best choices to make during the conversation to get better acquainted with Autumn:

Autumn's dialogue Best response for Swann
"Are you rolling?" "What makes you happy?"
"Am I doing ok?" "You look so good on camera!"
"What? No way!" "You're so pretty."
"My dad was stationed there for a couple of years…" "What was it like being the new kid?"
"Nora's the first person who really tried to get to know me." "What kind of friend is Nora?"
"More like her babysitter…" "Is she like a sister to you?"
"We're so not gonna be rock stars." "What's your wildest dream?"

Moment 4: Double Dare

Just like with Nora, you'll need to set up the past by choosing the crush option in 2022. Once you've done that, you can have the following conversation with the group:

Autumn's Dialogue Best response for Swann
"Do you have a crush? Tell us his name!" "I have a crush on this skater…"
"Who? Me? Just kidding… Tell us more!" "I'll tell you someday…"

How to romance Kat in 1995

Swann and Kat in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage
Screenshot by Destructoid

Kat looks the youngest, but she acts the oldest. She is secretive about her home life, seems to hate her sister, and seems to be brimming with anger just below the surface. Here are the moments that matter with Kat if you want to build a relationship with her back in 1995:

Moment 1: The First Night

After you've found the keys at the top of the rocket ship slide, the girls will split up to find something they can throw. Kat will head off to the drain pipe. Interact with it to open up a moment of dialogue between you:

Kat's dialogue Best response for Swann
"Why was Dylan so pissed at you?" "She's full of herself!"
"She always acts so slutty since they met…" "Sorry you're related."
"Corey got on my dad's good side…" "Wanna crash at my place tonight?"

Moment 2: Phone A Friend

In scene 14, you can choose to dial Kat's number and talk to her about the previous day, as well as what you plan to do at the cabin later that night. If you want to grow closer with her, here's what you should say:

Kat's dialogue Best response for Swann
"Dude, I was hoping you'd call!" "Hey!"
"Watching our video last night was awesome! But my mom went totally ballistic when I got back…" "That power outage was crazy!"
"Our music video's gonna be so sick!" "Thanks to you!"
"Can't wait to see you later… At the cabin, right?" "I can't wait to see you!"
"There's something I gotta tell you, but it's a secret…" "Nora told you a secret?"
"Walk with me later? I wanna talk." "Yeah, let's walk together."
"Corey's outside, I'm gonna throw a rock at him." "Aim for his junk!"

Moment 3: Kat(rhyn) Mikaelsen, 1995

The third and final focused interview takes place with Kat in scene 23, right before you set off for the concert at the Blue Spruce. Here's the best way to get through the interview if you want to win Kat's affections:

Kat's dialogue Best response for Swann
"We should've shot this at the Abyss!" "It'll be cool, promise!"
"Winter is my favorite season… Blue is my favorite color." "Let's talk about music."
"Her name is Claire. She mails them to me sometimes." "We should totally make a Bloom & Rage zine."
"I guess… I felt alone a lot. Unless I was with Gertie." "Who's Gertie?"
"Guys like my dad would probably just leave her to die." "Did you take her home?"

Moment 4: Double Dare

As you might expect by now, to get to the conversation that boosts your relationship with Kat, you'll need to set up the game of truth and dare by selecting the crush option in 2022. Once you've done that, here's how the conversation should go:

Kat's dialogue Best response for Swann
"Do you have a crush? Tell us his name!" "I have a crush on this writer…"
"Is it me? Just kidding." "I'll tell you someday…"

How to reconnect with the girls in 2022

Nora and Autumn in 2022, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage
Screenshot by Destructoid

Depending on who you grew closer with in 1995, you'll stand a higher chance of reconnecting with them when you're reunited in 2022. As it stands, Bloom & Rage Tape 1 has limited chances for open dialogue in 2022, but there are certain key things you can do to increase your final standings with both Nora and Autumn.

Just as you did in 1995, make sure to pay attention to their mood in 2022. Support their choices and bend accordingly. For instance, Nora is hesitant to discuss the package, so encourage Autumn to put it off a while longer. If you'd rather get closer to Autumn, go against Nora's hesitance and pressure the conversation to move on.

You can also use information gathered in 1995 to help in 2022. When it comes to getting a drink for Autumn, you have the option to get her a rum and coke, remembering that she said she liked them back in 1995.

There will be more moments, both in 1995 and 2022, to build your relationships with all the girls once Tape 2 is released on April 15, but getting ahead with your chosen friend now is a good way to make sure the game moves on how you'd like it to.

BO6 and TMNT crossover

The totally tubular Ninja Turtles have taken over Black Ops 6 with their new wave of Scorestreaks. It'll allow you to unleash the dynamic TMNT crew's notable powers, but you must check off a few prerequisites to acquire them. Here's a full breakdown of all TMNT Scorestreaks in BO6.

How to unlock Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Scorestreaks in BO6

To unlock the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Scorestreaks, you must play TMNT Moshpit. These power-ups only work on this specific mode, as they will not appear in standard games like Free-for-All and Kill Confirmed. You can still participate in other modes in the moshpit, including a unique take on Domination, Hardpoint, and Team Deathmatch. Each player can unlock a randomized TMNT Scorestreak from one of the Ninja Turtles or Splinter.

Using Donatello Scorestreak
Screenshot by Destructoid

On the other hand, if you have a Turtle Operator equipped, you will acquire the Scoresteak for this particular character. That means the perk will no longer be randomized and will correspond to your equipped Operator.

A different set of Turtle Powers is also available for Black Ops 6 Zombies mode. Although they aren't Scorestreaks, they'll give you buffs like health bonuses and Pack-a-Punch 3 Legendary Weapons. It'll help you get familiar with this intense mode just in time for The Tomb Directed Mode.

All Turtle Powers in Black Ops 6, explained

Understanding TMNT Moshpit's distinct Scorestreaks can be a challenge, as the game doesn't really explain what they are. So, if you're confused about it, here's a look into Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Splinter's Scorestreaks:

  • Leonardo: Best for stealth enthusiasts with its addition of Tracker, Ghost, Vigilance, and Cold-Blooded Perks.
  • Donatello: See enemy Operators, Equipment, Field Upgrades, and Scorestreaks through walls. This Operator also allows you to hack enemy Equipment and Field Upgrades.
  • Michelangelo: Drop a Pizza Box for your entire team to use, providing temporary Double Damage and more Ammo/Equipment.
  • Raphael: Gain an unlimited amount of Shuriken.
  • Splinter: Disappear into smoke and teleport to a safe location beyond enemy lines.

You'll gain one of these abilities while playing TMNT Moshpit, where you'll see a tracker in the Scorestreak section. I tested it out myself with Donatello, and it gave me the power to control his Bo Staff temporarily, all while displaying any enemy Operators and Equipment. It's a pretty OP buff, so if you're still deciding which one to pick, I highly recommend getting Donatello.

Given that the Black Ops 6 x TMNT celebration will only be available for a limited time, these Scorestreaks will likely conclude by Season 3. That means you'll have until March 20, 2025, to use them. If you're curious about Call of Duty's ongoing events, check out our guide on Black Ops 6's event schedule.

The Thing banner from Marvel Rivals

It's almost clobbering time in Marvel Rivals. The Thing of the Fantastic Four is set to join the hero shooter's roster in the Season 1.5 update. He's also about to crumple the Vanguard meta like a greasy hoagie wrapper with a seismic set of skills.

The Thing is Marvel Rivals' first un-stunnable Vanguard

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-Da2ALRqIs

I don't think anyone was shocked when it was "revealed" that The Thing was a Vanguard. Ben Grimm was always a bruiser, even before he was blasted with cosmic radiation and grew a second skin of stone. However, many of us were surprised when we discovered the character is built around demolition and allied buffs.

Here's a more in-depth look at The Thing's abilities in Marvel Rivals.

Ability Names Ability Effects
Rocky Jab Rapidly punch forward.
Stone Haymaker Deliver a devastating heavy blow.
Yancy Street Charge Continuously charge forward, launching up enemies and leaving behind a zone at the final position that prevents the use of mobility abilities.
Embattled Leap Jump toward your ally and apply damage reduction to the both of you.
Unyielding Will (Passive) Immune to launch-up, knock-back, and other displacement effects.
Cosmic Fastball
(Team-Up Ability)
Wolverine, Hulk, and The Thing can interact with each other. Once both parties confirm, Hulk and The Thing can lift Wolverine and press the key to hurl him forward.
Cooperative Comrades
(Team-Up Ability)
The Invisible Woman taps into her powers, channeling Psionic Might to fortify the entire Fantastic Four team. This formidable force bolsters Mister Fantastic, The Thing, and Human Torch, granting damage resistance. Once activated, they can continually generate bonus health, making up for lost health with each passing movement.
Clobberin' Time
(Ultimate)
Use immense power to launch all enemies in front of you into the air.

The Thing is with one of Marvel Rivals' most character-appropriate toolsets. The Fantastic Four's resident rock-head has always been the supportive bedrock that holds Marvel's First Family together. He can reduce a city block to rubble in seconds, but his top priority in combat is putting himself between his surrogate family and anything and anyone stupid enough to threaten them.

Like Captain America, The Thing is all about charging into the swamp of battle, using his bulk to withstand hits and knock enemy combatants out of key positions. However, The Thing's disruption option is miles better than the First Avengers. With proper positioning and timing, Yancy Street Charge can shut down agile Duelists like Spider-Man and Star-Lord, leaving them wide open for a Stone Haymaker that could send them rag-dolling to the other side of the map.

Let's be honest, though; everyone's eyes are on that passive. Besides sniping them from a distance, one of the best ways to deal with Vanguards is to disrupt them with launch-up or knock-back and close in for the kill. Unyielding Will makes The Thing utterly immune to one of the primary ways of downing his class, and it's sure to make him a nightmare for Iron Fist mains.

The Thing is coming to Marvel Rivals on February 21, 2025, rounding out the Fantastic Four alongside the Human Torch. If I had to guess, it won't take long for players to learn why so many Marvel fans love The Thing.

LEGO Fortnite Brick Life jobs

A portion of the LEGO Fortnite community is surprisingly eager to spend more money in this free-to-play game—but Epic Games isn't giving them the chance.

The frustration stems from the Feb. 21 Fortnite update, whose patch notes were revealed on Feb. 20. Instead of bringing back the items players have been asking for, the update focuses on bug fixes for network errors and quest issues, along with small quality-of-life changes like the ability to rename villages and barn animals in Odyssey.

Apparently, that's not enough for many players.

These bundles are rare now. Image via LEGO.

Fortnite Players want LEGO Kits to return to Odyssey

Many LEGO Fortnite players had the same reaction to the v34.00 patch notes thread, which Epic posted on Reddit. Instead of discussing the update, they ignored the minor changes and simply replied, "Put sets in the item shop."

Some players openly expressed frustration, "Your community is begging you to let us spend money on your game." Another one commented, "why can't you listen to your player base?"

https://www.reddit.com/r/LEGOfortnite/comments/1iu3c81/lego_fortnite_v3400_update_notes/

Others began tracking how long it's been since new LEGO Kits appeared in the Item Shop, reaching 41 days on Feb. 18. "Epic hasn't really given us ANY information as to why the kits aren't available in the shop 24/7," another one wrote.

The "sets" or "kits" players are referring to are cosmetic items that allow users to build unique structures, parts, and decorations in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey. These kits are purchased with V-Bucks, similar to Battle Pass-exclusive themed items like the Raven-inspired set.

Epic has sold LEGO Kits in the Shop before, but they are now rarely available. The last new LEGO Kit released was a Halloween-themed build set on Oct. 12, 2024, according to Fortnite.gg. Since then, no new kits have launched, and the last time any kits were available for purchase was Jan. 8, when the Farmer's Favorite decor set appeared in the Shop.

With no explanation from Epic, frustrated fans are left waiting and wondering when—or if—LEGO Kits will return.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Tales of Agrabah companion

Back in October 2024, we saw glimpses of Disney Dreamlight Valley's February 2025 update, Tales of Agrabah, through a content roadmap. Now, we have the update's trailer and a preview for its Star Path, Oasis Retreat. While most are here for Jasmine and Aladdin, I'm all about its capybara companion.

Jumping forward to February 20, 2025, Gameloft revealed a sneak peek at Disney Dreamlight Valley's upcoming Star Path, Oasis Retreat. To match the theme of Aladdin and the Tales of Agrabah update, Oasis Retreat will primarily feature desert-like furniture and clothing, including wicker chairs, lush palm trees, and even Princess Jasmine's hairstyle. However, my favorite part is its capybara, featuring an adorable bathrobe and a pineapple on its head.

https://youtube.com/shorts/7ZHis_dQ58E

I mean, just look at this little guy. I normally explore my DDV village and realms with the Rainbow Fox, but I might have to swap it out for this capybara occasionally. My normally stone-cold heart melted instantly after seeing it, and I've never been this excited to complete a Star Path.

The Oasis Retreat announcement came right after the Tales of Agrabah update's official trailer, confirming that Aladdin and Jasmine are arriving later this month alongside their realm. Our characters will dive right into Agrabah itself, where we'll learn more about its downfall and help restore it to its former glory with help from Jasmine and Aladdin. Soon after, they'll officially join our village and live alongside the rest of Dreamlight Valley's residents.

Disney Dreamlight Valley's Oasis Retreat Star Path will arrive on February 26, 2025, as part of the Tales of Agrabah update. Tales of Agrabah is a free content update available on all platforms, allowing anyone to unlock this adorable capybara and the rest of the event's features.

Path of Exile Legacy of Phrecia League Start Time

The launch of Path of Exile 2 and its need for extra support post-launch has caused its developer Grinding Gear Games to fall behind with the standard quarterly cadence of Path of Exile content updates.

In an effort to give fans of the original game something to do while they fix up the sequel, GGG has decided to launch an exclusive limited-time roughly one-month-long event called Legacy of Phrecia that introduces 19 alternate ascendancies to the ARPG. Here is the release date and start time for the Path of Exile Legacy of Phrecia event.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbCaClejIgU

When does the Legacy of Phrecia event start?

The Path of Exile Legacy of Phrecia event begins on February 20, 2025, at 3 pm EST. As with most league launches, the servers will allow you to jump in the queue for the Legacy of Phrecia shortly before and then stagger the admission of players once the release time hits. Players on both PC and Consoles will have access to the Legacy of Phrecia event at that time, and all league types (Standard, Hardcore, Standard Solo Self-Found, and Hardcore Solo Self-Found) will be available at that time as well. For those up to the challenge, there will also be a Ruthless mode available.

Here are the Path of Exile Legacy of Phrecia start times around the world:

BO6 TMNT skins

The iconic Ninja Turtles have emerged from their underground lair and ventured into the Black Ops 6 universe. For those who've longed to be part of this legendary squad, here's how to get TMNT Operator skins in BO6.

How to unlock TMNT Operators in BO6

You can get TMNT Operator skins through the BO6 Event Pass or Store Bundles, which are all available now with the Season 2 Reloaded launch. Bundles will include characters like Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael Tracer Packs.

Each TMNT pack costs 2,400 CP each, translating to $17.99. However, there's an exciting opportunity to snag some skins for free through the Call of Duty x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaboration event, kicking off on Feb. 27. The Free Track offers two ninja foot clans, among other TMNT-inspired rewards. While the Ninja Turtle Operators aren't part of these gifts, you can still unlock a Splinter Operator through the Premium Track.

Based on past events, you must earn a large amount of XP to reach the final tiers in the Event Pass. That means you'll have to grind through modes in BO6 Multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone. If you have them, it's the perfect time to use Double XP Tokens.

There is also a new limited-time mode, the TMNT Moshpit, which gives you robust Turtle powers. Anyone who equips the Splinter or Turtle Operators unlocks distinct skills through Scorestreaks. Raphael, for instance, harnesses the ability to have unlimited Shuriken, while Donatello can see enemies through the wall temporarily.

In addition to the Multiplayer mode, Zombies has a TMNT feature of its own in Cowabunga Cranked. All maps, including Liberty Falls and The Tomb, will showcase a Cranked Timer where you'll need to defeat enemies before the timer runs out. It'll be challenging to achieve, but you can extend your duration through the Pizza Box and Slice-O-Pie perks.

If you want a sneak peek into the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Store Bundles, we'll break each of them down.

GTA 5 Online character

While we've all been waiting for a Grand Theft Auto 6 announcement, GTA 5 is still kicking with its upcoming free PC upgrade set for March 5. Some of the most desired console-exclusive features are on their way, from a new overhaul of vehicles to anti-cheat protections.

PC players can finally sign up for a GTA+ membership to reap multiple benefits, from a monthly cash flow of GTA$500,000 to a 15 percent GTA$ bonus for Shark Card members. Previously, this membership was reserved for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S users, but now the upcoming upgrade will expand it to new horizons.

Of course, it wouldn't be a major update without some fresh new cars, as Hao's Special Works auto shop makes its mark once again. Five vehicles that were only available on PS5 and the Xbox Series X|S will be rolling out. This includes Coil Cyclone II, Imponte Arbiter GT, Karin S95, Pegassi Weaponized Ignus, and Pfister Astron Custom. Along with some sweet new rides, PC users can also test out Hao's Special Works weekly Time Trails, Premium Test Rides, and HSW Races.

There are plenty of other features to look forward to with GTA 5's free PC upgrade, including daily Wildlife Photography Challenges and Career Progress tracker. The Career Progress mechanic, in particular, is an excellent way to grab plenty of free cars, as each tier rewards you with exclusive content. Plus, new players can get their hands on GTA$4,00,000 to set themselves up for success. You'll definitely need the money if you're just starting out, especially since things can get pretty pricey later on.

Although the update mainly includes features that have already been on consoles, some technical improvements are reserved for PC users only. One of the most significant advantages is the push for higher resolution and framerates, bringing more realism to Los Santos.

This upcoming Grand Theft Auto 5 free upgrade isn't even the last thing we can expect, as Rockstar Games will continue to tweak PC support. Now, all we need is that GTA 6 second trailer announcement, and then we'll be golden.

Tribe Nine reroll guide image

If you've played games with gacha mechanics in the past, you'll likely be very familiar with rerolling. As you play through Tribe Nine's tutorial, you'll eventually unlock its gacha system, letting you add new characters to your party and make fights a little easier.

You'll quickly notice, though, that some party members are better than others. For the most part, the rarer a character is, the stronger they'll be. If you want to land the best Tribe Nine characters early on, rerolling can give you a solid head start.

Tribe Nine Reroll guide

Before you can reroll in Tribe Nine, you must complete its tutorial and unlock its Synchro mechanic. You'll find a tutorial version of the Synchro system after playing for about 15 minutes, with more options unlocking shortly after. If you're unhappy with the characters you pull, you can delete your player data through Tribe Nine's main menu before skipping the tutorial and retrying.

Overall, you'll need to play for about 20 to 30 minutes before fully taking advantage of rerolls. Once you have access to Synchro's full range of options, you can redeem rewards from your mailbox before pulling for some new characters. Fortunately, you can skip the tutorial if you end up rerolling, so don't worry about spending hours playing through the beginning of the game repeatedly.

That said, here's a quick summary of how to make the most of Tribe Nine's version of rerolling:

  1. Advance through Tribe Nine's tutorial until you unlock Synchro.
  2. Claim your mailbox rewards.
  3. Do some Synchro pulls to see what characters you get.
  4. To reroll from here, open your main menu and select Return to Title.
  5. Tap the three lines in the corner of your screen and choose Delete Player Data.
  6. Start a new game, choose to skip the intro, and repeat the process.

The process is the exact same each time, except for skipping the tutorial. You'll even get the same mailbox rewards during each reset, so don't worry about missing out on those.

Once you get a solid character roster, you can stop at step three and continue with your playthrough. Otherwise, getting the party members you want may take a few tries, especially if you're aiming for multiple or get unlucky.

Who should you reroll for in Tribe Nine?

Tribe Nine Synchro menu
Screenshot by Destructoid

The exact characters you go for will depend entirely on Tribe Nine's current banner and meta. While one party member may work during the game's launch, others will naturally replace them over time, making them mostly obsolete. Overall, your goal is to roll Tribe Nine's rarest characters because they're typically the strongest, and it's more fun that way.

That said, here are some of Tribe Nine's strongest characters to look out for:

  • Tsuruko Semba
  • Enoki Yukigaya
  • Miu Jujo
  • Q
  • Jio Takinogawa

You'll quickly notice these are all rare three-star characters with a 0.3 percent chance of appearing for each roll. Don't be surprised if you have to reroll a few times for them, as you'll usually get two-star characters like Yutaka Gotanda or Hyakuichitaro Senju instead.

Similarly, you can use this to reroll Tension Cards if you keep landing one-star cards and want to get three-star versions. However, sticking to character rerolls is generally more helpful, especially since you'll get plenty of opportunities to obtain valuable Tension Cards later in your playthrough.

Dungeons and Dragons Monster Manuel 2025 Edition

The newest edition of Dungeons and Dragons' Monster Manuel has made more than a few sweeping changes to the long-running tabletop RPG's massive cast of foes. There's a lot to cover, but the highlights are easily the new creatures the 2025 Monster Manual adds to the mix.

The 2025 MM doesn't introduce many new creatures, but its contribution to D&D's menagerie of dragons, oozes, and undead atrocities is an exercise in quality over quantity. Here's a round-up of all the new (and updated) monsters in the 2025 Dungeons and Dragons' Monster Manuel.

All new monsters in the 2025 Dungeons and Dragons Monster Manuel

The 2025 edition of Dungeon and Dragons 5E's Monster Manual introduces an impressive assembly of monsters. Most monsters in the book are re-imagined versions of creatures introduced in the original Monster Manual, but they've changed in more ways than they've stayed the same.

While reading the book, I noticed a common trend: Many new monsters are "evolved" and "devolved" versions of iconic D&D foes like Revenants and Sphinxes. By adding these stronger/weaker variants, the book makes it easier for Dungeon Masters to pit players against recurring foes that grow in power as they do, an issue that's plagued 5E for years.

Another notable addition is the "Titans," Kaiju-sized monsters who can turn a thriving port city into vacant beachfront property in hours. As big as they are deadly, these beasties are the perfect choice for DMs looking to run a cinematic-scale combat encounter for a high-level party. Ever want to run Power Rangers in D&D? Now you can!

Here are all the monsters introduced in the 2025 Monster Manuel. To make things easier for DMs who need a monster sooner than later, I threw in the creature's size, type, alignment, and Challenge Rating.

The Human Torch banner from Marvel Rivals

Things are about to boil over in Marvel Rivals. Johnny Blaze, aka The Human Torch of the Fantastic Four, is making his long-awaited debut in the game's big Season 1.5 update. And he's got skills that will, pun intended, set the game's competitive meta ablaze over the coming weeks.

The Human Torch is already Marvel Rivals' best Zoner

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ORBFXYlQ3U

To the complete and utter shock of absolutely no one, the Human Torch is a Duelist. Like many of the best Duelists in Marvel Rivals, Johnny's mobility and ranged options are his major draw. Sue Storm's loud-mouthed younger brother is a flyer on par with Iron Man, Star-Lord, and Storm, and his dominant form of offense is flinging fireballs at the opposing team from a distance.

Here's a more in-depth breakdown of Johhny Storm's abilities in Marvel Rivals.

Ability Name Ability Effect
Fire Cluster Launch forward a cluster of splitting fireballs.
Blazing Blast Launch a fireball to deal damage or create a Flame Field at the targeted area, dealing damage to enemies within.
Pyro-Prison When two or more Flame Fields exist, connect them to form a fire wall that deals one-off high damage to enemies that pass through the wall, or continuous burning damage if the wall exists in an enclosed area.
Plasma Body Hold LSHIFT to enter a state of accelerated ascent.
Flaming Meteor Dive towards the ground, dealing damage to enemies and detonating any Flame Fields hit.
Omega Fire
(Team-Up Ability)
When the Human Torch activates Supernova, Storm can summon an Omega Fire by selecting a Flame Tornado with Omega Hurricane. Likewise, when storm unleashes Omega Hurricane, the Human Torch can transform it into a Burning Hurricane with Supernova. Any Flame Tornado caught in a Burning Hurricane will grow in size and damage.
United Siblings
(Team-Up Ability)
The Invisible Woman taps into her powers, channeling Psionic Might to fortify the entire Fantastic Four team. This formidable force bolsters Mister Fantastic, The Thing, and Human Torch, granting damage resistance. Once activated, they can continually generate bonus health, making up for lost health with each passing movement.
Supernova
(Ultimate)
Explode with cosmic fire to deal damage to enemies within range and enter Supernova state. While in Supernova state, Blazing Blast will transform into Flame Tornado, and Plasma Body can be activated without any cost.

I wasn't all that wowed when I heard rumors that the First Family's youngest member was coming to Marvel Rivals. Don't get me wrong; I love Johhny Storm as a character, but I wasn't sure how or if the team at NetEase could make him stand out in Marvel Rivals' busy Duelist scene. Luckily, I don't think that anymore.

One thing that The Human Torch's gameplay trailer made clear is that Johnny's all about zoning. Outside of being some delightful fan service, The Human Torch's Pyro-Prison could be a red-hot pain in the neck for the opposing team. Many of Marvel Rivals' heaviest hitters' best attacks are area-of-effect bombardments, so having the ability to corral the enemy team into one easily combo-able herd gives the Human Torch some major support potential.

The Human Torch's Team-Up attacks are also worth talking about. The top comment from the gameplay trailer sums up Omega Fire's insane damage-per-second potential pretty nicely, "Healer mains are watching that Storm team-up in absolute horror." We haven't seen United Siblings yet, but it look like players are about to have yet another reason to play Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.

The Human Torch is coming to Marvel Rivals on February 21. 2025. This update is also going to add Johnny's rocky-skinned surrogate brother, The Thing, to the roster and give players a new map to try them both out in.

EA FC 25 LaLiga POTM SBC

If Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe is among the nominees for the La Liga POTM SBC in any given month, you'll expect EA FC 25 players to vote heavily for him.

Yet, we have reached a unique moment where the Ultimate Team community is lobbying heavily for Antony to be awarded for February instead of him AND a certain Barca star. When I saw a certain Reddit thread, I thought that it must have been a joke. Twenty-four hours on, I firmly believe that we might be living in a reality where we might be getting a POTM card for Antony.

Antony getting an EA FC 25 LaLiga POTM SBC will be massive

The month of February has two popular nominees: Real's Mbappe and Barcelona's Pedri. Usually, these names are enough to get millions of votes. In fact, we already have an ongoing Kylian Mbappe POTM SBC available on Ultimate Team. If social media is to be believed, however, it might just be one of Manchester United's biggest flops winning the award.

https://www.reddit.com/r/fut/comments/1it9pv9/boys_we_have_one_job_we_have_to_unite_for_the_king/

There's no way to tell who will get a SBC in the coming weeks, as we are still in the voting period. That said, it will be a massive moment for Antony as very few things have gone right for him so far in his Manchester United career. After a disastrous start to the campaign, the Brazilian was shipped to Real Betis earlier in the January transfer window.

A temporary move to Real Betis seems to have done wonders for Antony, who is playing with passion and freedom. He has already scored goals in La Liga and the European competitions for his new club. It's safe to say that he is finally showing the abilities that inspired Manchester United to shell out a hefty fee for him in the first place.

Whether Antony's move turns out to be a successful one remains to be seen. However, he might already be a winner in the eyes of the EA FC 25 community, as many members have already voted for him to get the award for his performances in February. As a fellow Manchester United fan, I can claim that there has been zero bias behind my vote (yes, I voted for Antony as well).

Kylian Mbappe is, and will remain, one of the game's best cards to use. Pedri might not be in the same category, but he is certainly one of the better midfielders on the Ultimate Team. In comparison, Antony has hardly received any love this year (due to his on-field performances before Betis), but this could well be his moment to shine, at least in a video game.
