It's not often that you see an OLED TV for less than $800, and it's even less common to see an OLED gaming monitor for that kind of a price - especially when it's Gigabyte's well-respected FO48U, a 48-in model that supports 4K 120Hz over HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort. It's got USB-C charging, KVM functionality, FreeSync/G-Sync... and it cost $1499 when it launched two years ago.

As you'd hope from a drive of this calibre, this uses more expensive TLC NAND flash and has a DRAM cache, providing noticeably better sustained performance than QLC drives without a DRAM cache.

Team UNNAMED_ seemed to have cleared The Omega Protocol (Ultimate) in Final Fantasy XIV, but it now seems they cheated. The Japanese static achieved World First on January 30, 2023 at 10:34am (PT). The Omega Protocol (TOP) is the latest Ultimate Raid in FFXIV, and it was introduced on January 23, 2023, two weeks after the release of Patch 6.3. Team UNNAMED_ previously achieved the World First clear of Pandaemonium Abyssos (Savage), back in September 2022.
Editor's Note: This article was updated at 6:15pm ET.
Ultimate Raids are some of the highest difficulty content in Final Fantasy XIV. They are designed to be tackled by statics, organized groups of eight high-level players that clear content together. Prior to TOP, Dragonsong's Reprise (Ultimate) was considered the most difficult raid in FFXIV.
In a "Letter from the Producer LIVE" broadcasted back in December 2022, Yoshi-P said that TOP wouldn't be as difficult as Dragonsong Ultimate (DSU). However, TOP has managed to prove even more challenging than Dragonsong Ultimate, as the new raid took 7 days of tries to complete, compared to the 6 days it took for DSU.
Historically, Ultimate Raids have consisted of 4 or 5 phases. Dragonsong Ultimate was the exception, being 7 phases long and including a checkpoint in between. Meanwhile, TOP counts with 6 phases and no checkpoints whatsoever. This means that players need to go through all the previous phases if they are wiped, making it the most challenging Ultimate Raid.
Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. The Omega Protocol (Ultimate) was discussed on the patch notes for Patch 6.31.

Michael B. Jordan hosted the January 28, 2023 episode of SNL, and he appeared as one of the stars in a Street Fighter 6 skit. The concept behind it is that he was one of two voice actors voicing characters for the game. However, while he has one take on the role, regular cast member Bowen Yang comes in with a different take on the situation.
Here's the full Street Fighter 6 skit from the official SNL skit. Jordan is playing the role of Ken Masters in the "game." Meanwhile, Yang is playing Ryu. Things start with the two recording exclamations in the heat of battle. At about the two minute mark, the two of them record some voiced lines. The very end of the skit features some footage of Ken and Ryu with Jordan and Yang's versions of the lines.
SNL isn't the only show that involved Street Fighter 6 references this weekend. Thea Trinidad showed up to the WWE Royal Rumble in Juri cosplay. This weekend Capcom also announced that she would be one of the celebrity commentators for the game. When it did, it shared footage of her narrating a match in which Juri was involved.
Street Fighter 6 will appear on June 2, 2023 on the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, and PC.

A rather robust photo mode will be available in Like a Dragon: Ishin for you to preserve your Bakumatsu memories. You will be able to take pictures with characters, as well as edit on the fly. There is a number of filters and poses you can use, as well as write text directly on the picture.
The Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio Twitter account has posted a short video showing off how photo mode looks like in Like a Dragon: Ishin. It shows Ryoma cycling through some of the poses that you can make him do. Aside from filters, the video also demonstrates how you can change the angle of the photo too. At the end, the picture shows Ryoma pointing at the screen while standing next to Hijikata. He shows his loyalty with the words "Shinsengumi Love" over the picture.
While the story of Like a Dragon: Ishin will undoubtedly be serious, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has already shown several mini-games and mechanics that have the Like a Dragon series's usual brand of nonsense. Aside from photo mode, you can also go to a cabaret and play with girls. Ryoma will also be able to help out at a udon shop, sing karaoke, chop vegetables, and summon wrestler Kenny Omega.
Like a Dragon: Ishin will come out on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC on February 21, 2023.

Advanced Squad Leader, the hex-and-chit World War II game legend, came out in 1985, even before I was born. It has only ever looked approachable once while reading the rules. That was before I realized how trying to keep all the rules straight is what turns me into a stressed-out mess in any game. That's why I am very happy to see that Second Front — the closest thing to ASL PC adaptation — has finally come out. As mentioned before, Second Front is a World War II game. It ships with three factions: the US, Germany, and Russia (USSR), and is meant to recreate both European fronts of the war. You have all the main tanks, trucks, and guns to take you from September 1939 to 1945. Admittedly, the Americans didn't have much going for them when the Nazis invaded Poland, so their arsenal only begins somewhere around the introduction of the M3. In any case, you can watch all of them explode in around a dozen scenarios per country (except the Germans, who get two sets: one for fi...

Before its release a lot of people were asking: is Risk of Rain 2 split screen? You may have seen that the developer advertised the game as having a local co-op mode. This wasn't necessarily true, however; the game does not come readily packaged with a split-screen mode. A workaround is possible, like with almost everything on a PC, but it may take a little technical know-how and a PC capable of not melting under pressure.
