What comes after Warframe 1999 can be

I've worked on a lot of really cool things in my career. There's Diablo 4, Overwatch 2, and, at the moment, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2. All of these things, however, existed before I started working in videogames - they're all decades in the making, and I rocked up at the final hurdle (the most exciting part, of course). But over the past couple of years, I've watched Warframe 1999 go from a five-minute teaser trailer to a fully realized questline, spanning two colossal patches packed with hours of material. In some ways, writing this article feels like we've come full circle: I was there at the beginning, and now I'm here at the end.

New AMD Ryzen desktop CPUs could beat a PS5 without a graphics card, hints CEO

AMD's Ryzen AI Max APUs may soon appear in desktop PCs, according to CEO Lisa Su. The big appeal of the mobile processor is its ability to deliver graphical performance that rivals some modern GPUs, but without needing a separate graphics card. In fact, the integrated GPU in the top Halo Strix chip has more stream processors and a newer architecture than the chip residing in the PS5.

Strix Halo is a mobile CPU architecture with so much power in its integrated GPU that it can even outperform the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 desktop GPU in some tests. Now more commonly known as the AMD Ryzen AI Max, this series of APUs for laptops now looks set to invade the desktop market, but it's not as straightforward as just releasing the chip into retailers and expecting it to challenge the best gaming CPUs.

In the multifaceted landscape of RPGs, nuclear disasters are a regular occurrence. From gas masks to Geiger counters, the real-world inspirations behind these irradiated digital wastelands are all too identifiable. Rebellion's Atomfall takes a slightly different tack. Instead of tapping into Cold War anxieties of a nuclear holocaust or the harrowing effects of Chornobyl, we arrive in north-west England in the wake of the Windscale accident, and all is not as it seems.

One of the greatest games on PC has an unofficial sequel, and it's totally free

It's hard to overstate the influence of Thief, Looking Glass and Ion Storm's definitive stealth series, and one of the greatest games in PC history. Deus Ex, System Shock 2, Dishonored, and myriad other immersive sim RPGs and hybrid FPS games owe a debt of inspiration to The Dark Project, The Metal Age, and Deadly Shadows, but even in the age of remasters and remakes, Thief is yet to make a comeback - barring of course Square Enix's attempt back in 2014. On the contrary, a totally free, unofficial sequel is still going strong. Whether you've already played it or it's your first time, this is a notice to try the freshly updated Dark Mod.

Coming into 2025, I've found myself reading more books. From graphic novels to non-fiction anthologies, I've been bitten by the bookworm this year and can't quite seem to shake its influence. From Patrones and Escondites' bizarre press releases to the promise of "a story you can play," and "a game that you can read," it piqued my interest immediately, and has swiftly become one of my favorite puzzlers of this year.

When was the Atomfall release date? It might not be the full-scale nuclear war that we recognize from Fallout, but the disaster that takes place in Rebellion's new survival RPG has still left Britain in a bad way.

After huge comeback, tactical shooter Arma Reforger is transformed by new update

It wasn't long ago that Arma Reforger was regarded as the unlovable misfire spin-off, an experiment that long-time fans of Bohemia's realistic milsim series didn't take seriously. Caught between Arma 3 and Arma 4, Reforger had its exponents, but seemed doomed to relative obscurity. But now, that's all changed. After a whirlwind comeback in January and February, Arma Reforger is still enjoying a Steam renaissance, with impressive player numbers and some notable plaudits. I wouldn't blame you if you already forgot about it, for the most part it was pretty forgettable considering how much of it could be boiled down to "damn… video games are violent, huh?", except positioning that as universally cool, actually (let's leave that whole conversation there). Easily the weirdest of all the episodes was the Pac-Man one, given that it was only Pac-Man in the sense that there was a floating yellow orb thing that kind of looks like the titular, iconic video game character.

When there's as big a brand as Disney, that has enough money to just kind of throw whatever at the wall and see what sticks, eventually you wind up with something that might make you scratch your head a bit. Today, that thing is Disney Villains Cursed Café, a visual novel where you serve a bevy of potions to various Disney baddies, announced earlier today as part of the final Nintendo Direct for the OG Switch (but yes, it is on PC too - in fact it's already out on Steam).

A few months on from releasing into early access, Greedfall 2: The Dying World has received its first major update, and it certainly seems like a fairly big one. First up, there's a whole new region to explore called "Olima, City of Stars", and I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that it has nothing to do with that guy from Pikmin. Its name actually comes from the fact there's a big ole observatory to be found there, though what that entails, you'll have to find out for yourself.

Stardew Valley publishers and Starbound developers Chucklefish have conjured up the first proper trailer for Witchbrook, the magic school life sim some have called "isometric Little Witch Academia", and other, more English people "a reworking of The Worst Witch books". Me, I'm going with "isometric Kiki's Delivery Service", given that there appear to be delivery missions and also, you do get to fly on broomsticks.

I italicised that "do" in honour of Alice Bee (RPS in peace), who threatened in 2020 to institute scoring on RPS specifically in order to give Witchbrook 0/10 if it didn't have flying broomsticks. Nice save, Chucklefish! Here's that trailer.

jump music video naruto shippuden

The 34th JUMPMV music video will feature "Lovers" from Naruto Shippuden. It will premiere on YouTube at 7pm JST on March 28, 2025 (3am PDT/6am EDT).

"Lovers" is a song by 7!! (Seven Oops). It was the ninth opening for the Naruto Shippuden anime, running from episodes 206 to 230. You can listen to it here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oim_0n0nSWM

In the thumbnail for the music video, we can see an image of Sakura from the manga. According to the video description, the video will also heavily focus on her, as well as the rest of Team 7. Coincidentally or not, March 28th is also Sakura's birthday.

The Shonen Jump channel on YouTube started uploading its JUMPMV almost exactly two years ago on March 27, 2023. Naruto was one of the first manga series it made a video on, and the first one used Asian Kung-Fu Generation's "Haruka Kanata." Another one that came out around that time used DOES's "Shura" for a Gintama video. Since then, Shueisha has released these videos for several other popular manga series, such as Bleach and Jujutsu Kaisen, at a pretty frequent rate.

Naruto Shippuden is readily available on streaming platforms such as Crunchyroll, and Viz Media licensed the manga for an English release.

NTT Docomo working with Libalent to establish new global manga publishing brand

NTT Docomo Studio & Live, a subsidiary company of one of Japan's major mobile phone operators, announced that it is working with Libalent to establish a new manga publisher label. The companies will use the new brand to publish Japanese manga globally while producing new manga IPs simultaneously.

The companies provided more details on the new label project in the press release. They noted that only a few percent of Japanese manga titles have been localized in multiple languages. The companies have pledged to bring those titles to digital platforms frequented by people in the Anglosphere, as well as emerging Asian markets with a high interest in Japanese culture, such as Thailand and India. In addition, they will launch projects for two new manga titles made in collaboration with renowned mangaka artists and publishing platforms within the year 2025.

Upon further inspection, NTT Docomo Studio & Live and Libalent have also been tied with the same FANY brand from the major Japanese entertainment agency, Yoshimoto Kogyo. The former's official website link leads to FANY Studio, which currently showcases variety shows starring the agency's celebrity talents. One of the shows listed is Noda Crystal's Final Fantasy XIV Club, which had 26 episodes aired in 2023. Meanwhile, Libalent's Toon Studio showcase includes two manga titles that are available to read via FANY Story.

NTT Docomo Studio & Live and Libalent will formally publish the new global manga publishing label in due time.

Final Fantasy XIV Materia Keychains Head to Japanese Arcades

Taito announced that Materia orb keychains based on the items from Final Fantasy XIV will appear as arcade game prizes in Japan from March 28, 2025. There are five different colors available for the Materia keychains and they are red, purple, blue, green, and yellow.

In FFXIV, Materia is a type of item that can be attached to gear in order to upgrade and increase its stats. It is named and based after the Materia mechanic first introduced in the franchise with Final Fantasy VII.

The new Materia keychains are shaped like an orb with a metallic filigree wrapped around it. They are approximately 3.5cm (or approximately 1.38 inches) in size, and you can check them out in more detail here:

Plenty of FFXIV merchandise goods have been released by Taito as arcade and crane game prizes in Japan, including Hydaelyn and Zodiark idol minion plushes that appeared in late November 2024, as well as glow-in-the-dark mouse and mousepad sets.

The Final Fantasy XIV Materia orb keychains will release on March 28, 2025 as arcade game prizes throughout Japan. Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and Patch 7.2 is now live on the game.

yoasobi players

"Players", the song that Yoasobi composed and sang for the 30th anniversary of PlayStation, topped the Oricon charts in Japan. The song came out about a week ago on March 21, 2025. [Thanks, PR Times!]

To be specific, it topped the Oricon Weekly Digital Singles Ranking, but it managed this feat in its first week. "Players" is part of Project Memory Card, which celebrates the 30th anniversary of the original PlayStation's release. Members of the public submitted their "games I'd like to forget so I can experience it again for the first time," and Yoasobi wrote the song based on these answers. The music video for the song also garnered attention for including actress Nanase Nishino, YouTuber Kiyo, and VTuber Usada Pekora.

You can listen to "Players" by Yoasobi here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGdffr_lIPs

Due to Yoasobi's popularity, as well as the band's songs often appearing in high-profile media or collaborations, it's not surprising to see their song top the Oricon charts. They've accomplished this many times in the past as well. In October 2023, "Yuusha", which is the opening for Frieren: Beyond Journey's End,  topped the Weekly Digital Singles Ranking. Earlier that same year, their song "Idol" topped the chart six weeks in a row, which was a first in Oricon history. "Idol" served as the opening for Oshi no Ko.

Other major collaborations and projects Yoasobi participated in so far for 2025 include the Tirori Mix 2025 for McDonald's Japan.

Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark Review

Inti Creates' track record shows that it knows its way around the 2D action kitchen better than most. While there has been the occasional misfire, you can generally expect to have a good time when you see the Inti Creates logo pop up. Gal Guardians: Demon Purge was no exception to that, with the developer slyly packaging a spiritual follow-up to the Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon games as a Gal*Gun spin-off. A solid romp, but one whose expansive levels made it hard not to wonder how the concept would do if given the full Metroidvania treatment. Wonder no more, friends. Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark is here, and this time it's exploratory.

The two-character mechanic makes a return in this game, but this time we've got a new dynamic duo. Kirika and Masha are a pair of demon maids who serve the great Demon Lord Maxim. After coming back from a little vacation, the two sisters are shocked to discover the castle has been attacked. All of Maxim's servants have been reduced to piles of bones, and the maids arrive at the throne room just in time to see their lord seemingly taken out by a turncoat maid and her true boss, the Demon Lord Lyzenborg. After a brief scuffle with the enemy, the sisters find themselves alone in the wreckage.

Luckily, it turns out that Maxim is not quite out of the game. While his power has been significantly diminished, he lives on as a floating skull. If his scattered bones can be collected, he can regain his original power. It's up to Kirika and Masha to venture out into the world and bring back every single bone they can find. It's a vast land filled with dangerous demons, monsters, and even some very familiar demon hunters. As Maxim's strength recovers, he can grant additional abilities to the sisters that will help them reach new locations and handle new obstacles. You know, the usual Metroidvania stuff.

Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark uses a similar gameplay dynamic with its playable characters. Kirika uses guns and can pepper enemies from a distance. She has to occasionally reload, and each individual shot only does a little bit of damage. Masha is the melee character, using her whip to thrash her foes up close. She can also make use of a selection of magic seeds that have various effects. In addition to their basic weapons, both sisters can equip two sub-items. You'll mainly encounter these as drops from enemies. There's quite a variety on offer, and they're useful for anything from shoring up each sister's weaknesses to interacting with the environments.

Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark - Special
Screenshot by Siliconera

On top of that, Maxim himself can help out. He follows the sisters around in his floating skull form, and you can equip a number of special badges to him that convey different abilities and effects. He can also make use of a selection of demonic powers that expands as he gains levels. As a bonus, the maids' stats will also improve with each level Maxim gains. You can increase Maxim's level by collecting his bones and returning them to his throne room. The first one of these is found as part of the story, but after that they can be dropped by regular enemies, found in chests, or pop up in other places as rewards.

The powers Maxim offers are vital to your progress and you're probably going to need those stat boosts to deal with the baddies, so regular trips back home to make bone deposits are a must. In theory, this makes for a nice loop where you go out and explore for a while then head home to lick your wounds and upgrade. In practice, the game is easy enough and offers enough chances to restore your health that you'll rarely need to head home and patch up. The main reason to go back is simply to toss the bones and gain some levels. It's easy to head back from any of the frequent save spots, but returning to where you were is another matter entirely. You'll find fast travel spots now and then, but they're few and far between.

Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark - Gun kickback
Screenshot by Siliconera

The more I thought about this, the more it felt like a lot of backtracking just for the sake of not doing a more normal experience system. It's particularly bad early on when you don't have a ton of navigation abilities. As things open up it gets more tolerable. You'll have more reasons to go back to Maxim Castle as more facilities open up there, and with more abilities unlocked you'll have more fun scooting through the areas to make your way back. It probably could have been handled a lot more elegantly, but I suppose in the long run it's not that big of a deal.

A lot of my issues with Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark can be categorized that way, I suppose. The inventory system is a mess as you quickly accumulate a ton of near-useless junk and can't do much more with it than chuck in the item box back home. The enemy variety could be better, with a heavy reliance on palette swaps despite rather large differences between each biome. The map is in some ways very useful due to it marking major points of interest, but it lacks the fine detail many other games in this genre offer. I also wish the game actually told you how to perform the new moves you've unlocked. Some of them are pretty complex and I basically had to smack the buttons in various combinations until something triggered in those cases.

Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark - Mimic's back!
Screenshot by Siliconera

None of that should really put you off of playing this game if you like the Metroidvania genre, though. For whatever failings Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark may have, it's ultimately got a lot going for it. The map is large and full of fun secrets to uncover. You get a lot of diversity in the terrain both in appearance and form. Puzzles are interesting to work out even if they can be a bit obtuse at times. As you would probably expect from an Inti Creates game, the boss battles are excellent. It's really satisfying to learn the patterns and then execute your strategy perfectly.

The game has a lot of heart thanks to its charming characters and interesting world. You get plenty of fun banter between the sisters and Maxim, and the rest of the cast members do their part as well. Finding the souls of Maxim's servants and reviving them is always a treat, even if only to see what oddball pops up next. The pixel art graphics are very expressive in form and animation, too. On the audio end of things, the soundtrack does a good job of reminding you that this series is a riff on a riff of Castlevania, and the energetic voice acting rounds out the presentation nicely.

Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark - Boss Battle
Screenshot by Siliconera

I haven't even mentioned the multiplayer feature yet. As with the first game, two players can play together, each one taking control of one of the sisters. While multiplayer Metroidvania-style games aren't unheard of these days, it's an uncommon enough feature to be noteworthy. The only bummer is that at launch you'll have to cozy up locally. Online multiplayer is apparently coming in a post-launch update, so keep that in mind if that's important for your needs.

The shift to a full-on Metroidvania format makes Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark a bigger and more satisfying game than the already enjoyable original. With charming characters, interesting map design, and thrilling boss battles, it's easy to forgive this game for minor sins like excessive backtracking and weak tutorials. Servants of the Dark is a solid choice for fans of the original game or Metroidvania enthusiasts alike.

Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, and PC via Steam.

Atlus Shared More Raidou Remastered Details

After the reveal of Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army during the latest March 2025 Nintendo Direct, Atlus shared new details about the game in a new spotlight video. The "The Return of Raidou Kuzunoha" showcase is 22 minutes long and is now available in English.

The spotlight video starts by introducing the origins of the game as a PS2 title released in 2006. Back then, it was originally titled Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs the Soulless Army. The game is a departure from Atlus' more traditional turn-based RPGs due to being an action-RPG in which the player controls protagonist Raidou, who has the ability to summon Demons to fight alongside him. In combat, the demons battle automatically, and Raidou can issue orders to them in and out of combat to solve a variety of detective cases.

While Raidou Remastered is an update of the first game in the series, Atlus revealed that combat in this game will be based on the second title in the series, Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon. As such, it will feature plenty of changes. For example, Raidou will be able to summon two Demons during combat. Aside from a graphical update, Atlus announced plenty of UI changes to make the game more readable during combat.

Additionally, new Demons that appeared on titles such as Shin Megami Tensei V and other modern Atlus games will appear and players will be able to fuse or recruit them. Raidou will now be able to learn his own skills that exploit enemy weaknesses. Some other changes include fast travel, difficulty settings, auto-save functions, and more.

You can check out "The Return of Raidou Kuzunoha" spotlight here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIr3mDfEAlo

You can also check out some of the changes detailed by Atlus here:

Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army will come out on June 19, 2025 for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam.

witchy precure mirai days

The final episode of Witchy Precure Mirai Days will air on March 29, 2025. As a commemoration, all eleven episodes will be free to watch on Abema. The series is streaming on Crunchyroll outside Japan.

Aside from the episodes appearing on Abema for free about a week after the show ends, you'll also be able to marathon the entire series before the last episode. From 7:00 PM JST of March 29, 2025, Abema will air all eleven episodes at once. That would convert to 3:00 AM PDT, or 6:00 AM EDT. The marathon will last until 11:15 PM, which is when the final episode will air.

Witchy Precure Mirai Days started airing from January 11, 2025 in ABC TV and TV Asahi's late night block. As one can imagine from that time slot, this is a Pretty Cure anime that's more geared towards adults. It's a spin-off sequel to Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cure! and features the characters from that series as grown-ups. The plot of Mirai Days focuses on the girls reuniting again, and having to deal with both their past and future as magical girls.

Witchy Precure ~Mirai Days~ will end on March 29, 2025. Abema will stream it on that date, as well as all previous eleven episodes leading up to the finale. The service is only available for those in Japan, though.

pokemon yogurt

Morinaga Milk will release four-packs of Bifidas yogurt featuring various Pokemon species from March 31, 2025 in Japan. They will only be available until mid-May 2025, though Morinaga warned that it may end sales early if it runs out of product due to demand.

Each flavor type will have a different Pokemon on it, making for a total of seven variations. Pikachu is always on the packaging. Some of the packages focus on matching the Pokemon type to the flavor. The aloe flavor has Sprigatito, Petilil, and Oddish, which are all Grass Pokemon. However, the four-flavor variety pack has Eevee, Flareon, Espeon, and Leafeon. While they don't share the same Type, they're all part of the same evolutionary family. The mixed juice flavor only has Pikachu, which is likely because of its yellow fur. Though there are other yellow Pokemon in the franchise, they likely lack the sheer marketability Pikachu boasts.

Morinaga also teases three more products to receive Pokemon packaging in the future. Two of the silhouettes are boxes, and one of them has a Pino-like shape next to it. Compared to a yogurt cup with the Pokemon on the lid, it's likely far easier for collectors to preserve a box.

Pokemon Legends Z-A, which will be the newest game in the franchise, will come out on the Nintendo Switch in Fall 2025. The Bifidas yogurt with Pokemon designs will appear in Japan starting on March 31, 2025.

My Hero Academia Ochaco Uraraka SH Figuarts action figure revealed

Bandai Spirits revealed via Tamashii Nations that it will produce and sell a new SH Figuarts action figure modeled after Ochaco Uraraka from the My Hero Academia anime and manga. She will be the fourth character from the franchise to join the action figure line.

The initial reveal is still very fresh and bare-bones, as the company has yet to announce the new action figure's pricing and release window. Bandai Spirits also teased that there will be more option parts available for Ochaco. However, it has so far only published a sample image of the character's action figure without any additional parts.

The official reveal tweet is available to view right below:

https://twitter.com/t_features/status/1905069364174545388

The My Hero Academia SH Figuarts lineup formally launched in late December 2024 with the release of Izuku "Deku" Midoriya's action figure. Bandai Spirits will soon release Katsuki "Kacchan" Bakugo's figure on March 29, 2025. Shoto Todoroki will be the third character joining the lineup in May 2025. Bandai Spirits noted on the website that the first three action figures are all set to appear worldwide, so it is highly likely that Ochaco's figure will follow suit as well.

The SH Figuarts action figures will add more entries to the list of figure lines that have featured My Hero Academia characters. Prior examples include Nendoroids from Good Smile Company and Spiritale figures from Taito.

The My Hero Academia Ochaco Uraraka SH Figuarts is under production. Bandai Spirits will announce the release window for the new action figure at a later time.

Japanese March 2025 Nintendo Direct has exclusive reveal and shadowdrop of Project Cold Case Mirage

Nintendo published a new Nintendo Direct in late March 2025, and as with prior editions, the Japanese side of the program has several exclusive games not shown in the American and European Directs. However, a majority of those only appeared in the short montages, such as Winning Post 10 2025 and Tokimeki Memorial: Forever With You Emotional. The only Japan-exclusive game that had an extensive coverage in this Direct was Bandai Namco's Project:;COLD case.mirage.

This title is best described as an investigative adventure game. The player will be tasked by the mysterious boy Iori Heartfield to investigate the truth behind the fire incident at the Mirage Forest cafe that killed five girls. The game will practically turn the Switch's monitor into a desktop PC OS, and the player will use programs inside the in-game PC to collect information.

One of the game's highlights will be the Human Emulator program, where the player can interact with digitally constructed versions of the girls. Provisions of evidence that expose the girls' true selves will trigger a confrontational phase that can end in a BSOD game over screen when the player fails it.

Nintendo and Bandai Namco launched this game immediately after the Direct show had ended. However, this game is exclusively available on the Japanese eShop with only Japanese language supported.

Bunny Girl A2 NieR Automata Figure Appears

Good Smile Company opened pre-orders for the NieR Automata bunny girl A2 figure worldwide. She'll cost ¥39,600 / $415.99, depending where you order her. She'll show up in Japan in October 2025, but we might not see her worldwide until Q1 2026 depending on the storefront picked. Her look is inspired by both the anime and game.

This is a static figure of A2. There are no additional parts. You can't change her pose or faceplate. She's wearing a traditional bunny girl costume, which involves a black, one-piece swimsuit, black gloves, white cuffs, thing-high, high heel boots, black fishnet tights, a white collar with black bow tie, and black bunny ears. As she's a 1/4 figure, she's taller than most standard ones and will be over 19 inches tall when she arrives. (It does seem like about an inch of that, at least, will be made up of her bunny ears.)

Here's how the figure looks:

The 2B bunny girl figure pre-orders already opened. She's also expected to release around the same time, though we will end up seeing A2 about two months sooner. Unlike the A2 one, there's a bit of customization to her. You can switch face parts. This would allow you to pose her either with or without her goggles, so you can decide whether or not you want to see her eyes.

As a reminder, here is how the two NieR Automata bunny girl figures look together:

The NieR Automata A2 bunny girl figure will debut in Japan in October 2025, with a worldwide release planned for Q1 2026. Pre-orders are open until May 21, 2025. The game is available on the PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and Windows PC. The anime adaptation is streaming via Crunchyroll. Square Enix handles the release of the various manga and books based on the series outside of Japan.

Witchbrook Switch Release Window Falls in 2025

During the March 2025 Nintendo Direct for Switch games, the Chucklefish and Robotality magical life sim Witchbrook revealed with a 2025 release window. This also confirmed the game will not only appear on PCs via Steam, but on the Nintendo Switch. An updated trailer also showcased its gameplay.

We first learned about the game way back in 2018. That's when Chucklefish first talked about how its project "Spellbound" was now being developed under the new moniker. It also went over what magical school and daily life would be like. However, updates have been infrequent since then, sometimes consisting of screenshots, a fake newspaper report, the Steam page appearing, and a promise the team would avoid crunch. In addition to reconfirming the concept and showing actual gameplay, this latest update reminded us about the four-player multiplayer options.

Here is the isolated trailer showing all of the Witchbrook Switch footage. It begins by showing off locations around Mossport and the college. We also get to see characters' avatars attend classes, get food, and perform magic to make the world around them better.

And you can also see the full March 2025 Nintendo Direct below:

Witchbrook is in development and is expected to release on the Switch and PC

Carrying a diamond sword in Midport Village

In the Minecraft Movie Live Event, diamonds are the most sought-after item, just like in the base game. However, this time, obtaining them requires more than simply mining at lower Y levels. Let's dig into how to get diamonds for this limited event.

Minecraft Movie Live Event diamond farming guide

Diamonds await discovery in the mysterious Mines of the A Minecraft Movie servers. These precious gems supposedly spawn in Level 2, which is currently locked. There's no telling when Level 2 will be open, but it should be available soon, given that the event is only active for a limited time. Fortunately, you don't have to wait around for it to unlock, as you can get diamonds through the following ways:

  • Defeat hostile mobs
  • Open chests in the dungeons/spawners
  • Eliminate the Piglin Brute mini-boss
  • Pick up from fallen players

Zombies, spiders, and Creepers can sometimes reward you with a diamond drop. Take them down using the Battle Axe to see how your luck turns out. If you want a much more guaranteed way, the Piglin Brutes seem to drop these gems upon elimination. As a mini-dungeon boss, they're much more challenging than regular mobs, possibly killing you with a single blow.

A Piglin Brute will also send out other hostile mobs toward you, so keep an eye on your surroundings. I find it best to keep your distance and shoot it with a bow or eliminate it with other crafters in the Mines. Speaking of other players, you can pick up piles of diamonds left from their bodies. Sucks for them, but hey, at least you can honor their memory and put their resources to good use.

Conquering dungeons is the last way to get diamonds in the Minecraft Movie Event. You can find one of these spawners on the pathway to the Cactus Ball hidden collectible. There are also plenty of other dungeons in the Mines to give you more ground to cover. Once there, eliminate any mobs and destroy the spawners with your pickaxe to keep the enemy away from you.

Look for chests to discover some diamonds inside. While they aren't guaranteed there, you can still acquire random pieces of treasure to boost your points in the Mines minigame. Whether you've collected diamonds or other rare ore, you must return to the starting area to transfer your rewards. If you don't, any items you've collected will disappear instantly. Although you can't use these diamonds to make armor and weapons, you can go to Midport Village to purchase these upgrades with Emeralds.

Once Level 2 opens in the Mines, there will likely be another way to get diamonds. Some rumors have suggested that it will be available with the debut of Quest 6, considering that it involves collecting 100 diamonds. I'll keep checking the servers and update this guide when these quests are live.

Hogwarts Legacy adds Photo Mode in Summer update

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter's smash hit 2023 game Hogwarts Legacy had an expansion planned for 2025, but it's reportedly been canceled.

The unannounced DLC, planned to release along with a "Definitive Edition" of the game later this year, had the plug pulled "as part of an ongoing restructuring" at Warner Bros. Discovery's video games department, according to a report by Bloomberg.

Screenshot by Destructoid

The prequel to the Harry Potter books and films sold incredibly well with over 34 million copies thus far, so a DLC would have likely been a big hit as well. But according to the report, the projected just canceled this week "in part due to concerns that the amount of content was not substantial enough to justify the price being considered."

While the DLC apparently won't be happening now, a sequel is still under development at Avalanche Software, which developed the original game. The expansion was planned to include a storyline connected to one of the game's companions that was cut during development and never made it to the full game, the report said.

Warner Bros. has already shut down three studios and canceled a Wonder Woman game earlier this year, according to Bloomberg, and ended live-service development for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. That game's developer, Rocksteady Studios, was helping Avalanche with the Hogwarts Legacy DLC, reportedly.

While Warner Bros. continues to restructure its gaming division, it sits on several high-profile franchises that could translate wonderfully to games, such as DC Comics, Looney Tunes, The Terminator, Beetlejuice, Gremlins, and dozens more. This doesn't even include successful game franchises like Mortal Kombat. But for now, nothing the company has tried outside of Hogwarts Legacy has seen the success it wishes for.

Another Harry Potter game launched last year in Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, but it fizzled quickly and failed to reach a wide audience. Don't be surprised if the wizarding sport ends up as a playable mini-game or something even bigger in the Hogwarts Legacy sequel one day.

Mohamed Salah in EA FC 25

UEFA Dreamchasers Team 2 cards will be available soon in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, and you can find a major crux of the new additions in different packs.

The second week will be a direct continuation of the first, and it will feature special cards of current superstars, former Icons, and Heroes. While most of the cards will be added to packs, a few of them will be released via SBCs and objectives. EA Sports has remained tight-lipped about which items will appear next, but the social media leaks have given us a glimpse of what to expect.

All EA FC 25 Dreamchasers Team 2 players (leaked)

With the release date of the Team 2 close, we have got the first set of leaks. I am sure that we will find more names as we get closer to the release date, and any new leak will be added to the list.

  • Mohamed Salah
  • Robert Lewandowski
  • Federico Valverde
  • Joshua Kimmich
  • Nuno Mendes
  • Alisson Becker
  • Leon Bailey
  • Kaka
  • Gerd Muller (SBC)
  • Phillip Lahm
  • Ryan Cherki
  • Matthijs de Ligt
  • Katie McCabe

While some of the names on this list already have special cards in Ultimate Team, the upcoming versions will have better stats, playstyles, and roles. Naturally, it's fair to expect that some of these cards will be extremely expensive to acquire from the market. Make sure to be on the lookout for Icons, which are likely going to get three playstyle+.

EA FC 25 Dreamchasers Team 2 release date

Dreamchasers Team 2 will be released on Friday, March 28, and the cards will replace the Team 1 items. The new cards will be released at 6 pm UK time once again, and you can start opening the packs to find the new cards. Do note that what you pack will ultimately depend on your luck.

Week 1 saw some fantastic SBCs like Dayot Upamecano and Ousmane Dembele. I am hoping to see such content being released during the second week, and it should provide an excellent opportunity for players to reinforce their squads. We will have detailed guides about all of them to help you complete the challenges without spending any coins on fodder.

Cocaine in Schedule 1

If you have already grinded the first few days in Schedule 1, chances are that you're close to making Cocaine inside the game.

As of writing, it's the endgame item to make and requires you to complete a fair amount of grind. This guide will help you with the proper steps to make the product and get it ready to be sold to buyers. To kickstart the process, make sure to have a fair amount of cash, as the ingredients are pretty expensive.

How to start making Cocaine in Schedule 1

The process of brewing Cocaine begins with unlocking the Docks region. This is the fourth region to unlock, so you'll have to level up a fair bit. The quest begins after you make Meth for the first time. After you unlock Docks, you'll get access to a new supplier called Salvador Moreno.

Docs contact list in Schedule 1
Screenshot via Destructoid

This guy is the third and final supplier currently available, and you'll need to reach friendly status with either/both Mac Cooper and Javier Perez. To do so, make sure to meet their demands and never fail to supply them with an order.

Mr. Salvador provides you with only one item, and it's the most vital one. You can purchase Coca seed from him, and each costs $80. This seed develops into Coca plant, and it takes a long time to grow. I will advise you to use pots and lighting that enhance the base growth rate of the plant. A fully grown Coca plant will provide you with six leaves, and you'll need 20 of them to prepare Cocaine (more on that later).

How to prepare Cocaine in Schedule 1

Apart from Coca leaves, you'll need a few more items (including the required tools).

  • Gasoline, which can be purchased from Oscar at Warehouse. This is the same place from where you can get a gun for yourself, along with employees for your drug empire.
  • Cauldron, which can also be purchased from Oscar.
  • Lab Oven, and yes, it's also available at Oscar's (god bless him).

Once you have got all the products, and 20 Coca leaves, the process begins.

How to make Cocaine in Schedule 1

Raw Cocaine in Schedule 1
Screenshot via Destructoid

The first step is to add the 20 leaves and a jar of Gasoline into the Cauldron. You can do it yourself or order your Chemist. It will take six real-life minutes for the preparation to complete, and you'll get the raw form of Cocaine. This item isn't ready to be sold, and you'll have to put it inside the Lab Oven.

The next step takes six more minutes for the raw product to get cooked in the oven. Once it's ready, you'll have to use the hammer to break the final product and get the Cocaine bits. The only thing remaining is to pack them in either sachets/jars, and they're ready to be sold.

As you might have expected, Cocaine has the highest base selling price among all the available products, and you can further enhance its value by using the Drying Rack.

Schedule 1 promotional image for achievement guide

Getting 100 percent in games is satisfying. Most Schedule 1's are achievable as you play the game, but a few can easily escape your grasp if you're unfamiliar with the mechanics involved. Here's a complete Schedule 1 achievement guide, including tips on how to unlock each one.

All Schedule 1 achievements

Schedule 1 Shred Shack
Image via TVGS

At the time of writing, Schedule 1 has 11 achievements you can obtain. Most involve completing the tutorial and reaching net worth milestones, but there are some surprises in the mix. Here's a list of every Schedule 1 achievement and tips for completing them:

Achievement Description How to unlock
Welcome to Hyland Point Encounter an unexpected setback. You'll achieve this after completing Schedule 1's tutorial.
Master Chef Manufacture a product worth at least $100. Schedule 1's Early Access version unlocks this automatically. However, this may be patched out in the future.
As you unlock higher rarity weed types, mixing, and different item offerings, your products will increase in value. You'll have to mix multiple substances into weed to get this result or wait until you unlock meth and cocaine within the game.
Dodgy Dealing Recruit your first dealer. You'll achieve this as you progress through the main storyline. As you reach Friendly status with your customers, certain ones will unlock Benji, your first Dealer. Find him in Motel Room Two to recruit him for a $500 fee.
Left in the Dust Complete the prologue. You'll achieve this after completing Schedule 1's tutorial.
The Long Arm of the Law Get arrested. The easiest way to do this is to wander around town after Police Curfew begins. You'll receive a fine and teleport to the police station, but you won't lose any products if you leave them at your home base beforehand.
Indian Dealer Sell something to a customer, then pickpocket it back. After completing a deal with a customer, sneak up behind them using CTRL before approaching the NPC from behind and pressing E. You'll initiate a pickpocketing minigame, with a successful attempt rewarding you with an item.
Rolling in Style Purchase a golden skateboard. You can purchase skateboards from Shred Shack near the Motel. The golden skateboard is the most expensive option available at $1,500.
Businessman Attain a net worth of $100,000. You'll achieve this as you play the game. Sell plenty of products, unlock new offerings, and invest in employees to help you along the way. You can view your net worth when selecting your save file on Schedule 1's main menu.
Upstanding Citizen Dispose of 500 pieces of trash at the Cash for Trash machines. You can pick up trash by buying a Trash Grabber from Dan's Hardware store. Use this to pick up garbage on the ground around town. You can sell these items at any Cash for Trash machine by holding left click while wielding the Trash Grabber.
Bigwig Attain a net worth of $1,000,000. You'll achieve this as you play the game.
Magnate Attain a net worth of $10,000,000. You'll achieve this as you play the game.

Ubisoft has announced a partnership with Tencent to form a subsidiary company valued at over $4 billion, and it includes several of the French publisher's popular IP.

Called Ubisoft's "three most popular franchises," the subsidiary will bring together Assassin's Creed, Rainbow Six, and Far Cry, and gathering teams working out of Ubisoft studios in Montreal, Quebec City, Sherbrooke, Saguenay, Barcelona, and Sofia. This info is all according to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot's internal memo to the company, acquired by Insider Gaming.

Image via Activision

"Tencent will be a 25 percent shareholder of this new subsidiary, with the aim of boosting these franchises so they become undisputed global icons," Guillemot said. "This historic agreement is above all a recognition of the extraordinary work you have been doing for years: the value of these three brands directly reflects your individual and collective talent and efforts, which have allowed us to create these beloved franchises."

This immediately raises the question of what about Ubisoft's workers and those who work on other games not mentioned above? Chief studios and portfolio officer Marie-Sophie de Waubert followed up in another email to attempt to alleviate those concerns.

"I also want to be clear: if you're not currently working on these brands, it doesn't mean your work matters any less," de Waubert said. "This agreement will benefit all of Ubisoft, giving us the means to spark more innovation and creativity across the board. This marks the beginning of a new chapter, and you play a vital role in shaping it. In the coming weeks and months, we will work hard to build the best organization possible – for Ubisoft, for our teams, and for our players."

In the end, though, the subsidiary creation is all about making money, to no one's surprise when it comes to any sort of company or business in 2025. "This is what will enable us to return to a higher level of profitability," Guillemot said.

Guillemot's email also mentioned a global livestream sometime tomorrow, during which the news will presumably be made official.

Schedule 1 Loading Dock

As you unlock more products in Schedule 1, you'll quickly realize your inventory can only hold so much. Running back and forth to hardware and convenience stores takes time that you could be spending making money. Fortunately, you'll quickly unlock deliveries to make mass-purchasing much easier.

However, you can't order deliveries without a Loading Dock. Neither your motel room nor the room above the restaurant has one, so you may wonder how to get one and whether you can buy it. Here's how to get a Loading Dock in Schedule 1.

How to get a Loading Dock in Schedule 1

You can only get a Loading Dock after purchasing a Bungalow. The Bungalow comes with its own Loading Dock, letting you receive item deliveries from Dan's Hardware, Gas-Mart, and Albert Hoover's Weed seed shop. As you unlock more stores in your Schedule 1 playthrough, they'll also appear in the delivery list for you to use as needed.

How to buy a Bungalow in Schedule 1

You can purchase a Bungalow by visiting Ray's Realty in Northtown. It's located at the bottom-right corner of the map, the Post Office, Courthouse, and Town Hall. Upon arriving here, you can talk to Ray about buying a Bungalow in Westville for $6,000. You can only pay with your debit card, so visit an ATM beforehand.

Schedule 1 Bungalow price
Screenshot by Destructoid

Once you buy the Bungalow, you'll find a map marker on the far left side of the map in Westville. It's a distance compared to areas within Northtown, so buying a car as your next investment can help. You'll also spot the Loading Dock in front of the Bungalow upon arriving.

How to order items to the Loading Dock in Schedule 1

Now that you have your own Loading Dock, you can start ordering items for delivery. To do this, head into your phone, select Deliveries, and scroll to the shop you wish to buy from. You'll pay a $200 delivery fee regardless of what you buy, so make the most of this.

Schedule 1 deliveries menu
Screenshot by Destructoid

Although you won't have access to the shop's entire supply, you'll easily find options like Albert's seeds, baggies, soil, and mixing ingredients. They're the same price as their in-store equivalents, so you don't have to worry about any surcharges aside from the delivery fee. Once you submit your request, you'll find it in your Active Deliveries sidebar alongside the time it'll take to arrive.

Holding the Buck-Chuckets collectible

Beyond the items you can grab from shops, there are a few secret gems you can snag for free. These exclusive collectibles provide unique advantages, from a new weapon to a musical instrument. Here's how to find every hidden item in A Minecraft Movie Live Event.

Where to find hidden items in A Minecraft Movie Live Event

At the time of writing, six items have been discovered in the A Minecraft Movie Live Event. There are likely a few more collectibles; however, they seem to involve a future Yearn Cape quest or a specific timeframe. It should also be noted that sometimes the items won't appear, even if you go to the correct location. If this happens, just log out of the server and return to get it to spawn. Let's go over each hidden collectible location in A Minecraft Movie Live Event.

Saxophone location

You can find the Saxophone right after you spawn into the A Minecraft Movie Live Event. While at Midport Village, you'll see a tower. Reach the top of the tower to grab the item, allowing you to play melodic tunes anywhere you go.

Go inside the mines, and you should find the Tot Launcher at the end of the path. Although this weapon isn't as robust as the others, it inflicts a decent amount of damage against the mobs.

Battle Axe location

Compared to the Stone weapons and Tot launcher, the Battle Axe is likely one of the most potent weapons in A Minecraft Movie Live event. To find it, go to the Wilderness and head to the starter location at Section A. Cross the bridge to uncover a tower. Pick up the Battle Axe inside and use it to guard the Wilderness' Payload Cart.

Cactus Ball location

For the Cactus Ball, go to the Mines and take a left at the entrance. Take another left to discover a lava pit. Jump across this hot terrain and continue straight forward. Follow this path until you encounter a sign while on your way up. Take a left at this crossroad.

You'll reach another crossroads, but this time, you must take a right. Continue forward to uncover a spawner area (dungeon), where you'll find the throwable Cactus Ball at the center. This hidden collectible can be tricky to spawn, so you may have to do multiple re-log-ins for it to work.

Even though the Buck-Chuckets' destination is locked, there is a way to bypass it. Go to the Wilderness and walk over to the houses with mushrooms at Section C. You'll see a locked gate on the right side, which you can hop over by jumping on the blocks near a house. Next, hop onto a wooden log to get over to the other side of the gate.

A Steam Deck floating in front of a screenshot from Schedule 1.

No doubt by now you'll at least have heard of Schedule 1, the indie crime simulator that has you building a drug empire. Well, it seems to be doing fairly well for itself at the moment, evidence of how the indie scene can still make a splash in the cut-throat world of modern gaming.

In fact, despite it seeming to come almost out of nowhere, it's been making headlines, with it sitting on the number one spot on Steam's Top Sellers list at the time of writing. It keeps smashing its concurrent player count, according to the latest figures from SteamDB, so it's clearly doing alright, despite it only releasing a couple of days ago (hype is a powerful thing, it seems).

https://twitter.com/ScheduleOneGame/status/1904292142035743200

Currently, the game's exclusive to PC, but for those who like their gaming on the go, you may be wondering whether you can run it on your Steam Deck. Well, there may be some good news ahead.

Will Schedule 1 become Steam Deck verified?

According to the Steam page, it's "unknown" whether Schedule 1 is fully compatible with the Deck. What this basically means is Valve, as the developer of the device, is "still learning" about the game, so no official information can be said about its compatibility.

But do not despair. Just because its status is not known doesn't mean it won't work. According to a recent post on the community forums, Schedule 1 is still playable on the Steam Deck. User Emanouche, said you can get it to run, however, it doesn't appear to have official controller support yet, and there may be some issues with on-screen text.

One other user echoes this by saying that you can play it on the Deck, but it's recommended to use a keyboard and mouse, while another person believes developer TVGS will be adding support, according to a road map they've seen. As noted in a report from Dexerto, this does appear to be the case.

For now, yes, it does look like Schedule 1 is playable on Steam Deck, but it's not yet been verified by Valve. However, keep an eye out for updates.

BO6 season 3 Firing Range screenshot

Ready for some more Call of Duty? Season three is finally arriving to kick off April, bringing two months of live-service content for Black Ops 6 players to enjoy.

Over the course of around two months, new content will bring players back into the fold in BO6 such as weapons, multiplayer maps, game modes, a new Zombies map, and a lot more besides just the return to Verdansk in Warzone, which is also a huge part of the update.

All three Minecraft Movie Event capes.

Capes are a great way to accesorize and personalize your character in Minecraft. They're pretty rare to come by, though, so grabbing them while you can is crucial. Two you may want to unlock are the Home and Menace Capes.

Whenever capes are available, they're usually only redeemable for a short time. This makes them pretty easy to miss out on, so if you're hoping to grab two for your collection, here's how to unlock the Home and Menace Capes in the Minecraft Movie Live Event.

How to get the Home Cape in Minecraft

The Home Cape in Minecraft featuring a light blue portal on some green grass.
Image via Mojang

You can unlock the Home Cape by watching a creator stream Minecraft on Twitch for at least three minutes. This Twitch drop is available to redeem until April 6, so you have a decent amount of time to earn it.

Although you only have to watch for this short period of time, I've found that it can be a bit glitchy, so you may have to continue watching for a bit longer before you can claim your reward. To avoid running into any issues, don't switch apps or open other tabs while you're working on earning this drop.

If you're having trouble earning the Home Cape, here are the precise steps to follow.

  • Open Twitch on your platform of choice. You can work on unlocking this code on any device.
  • Find a creator who is streaming in the Minecraft category. If you're not sure which creators work, look for the "drops" label in the title or as a tagged category.
  • Look for the "Watch to earn drops!" message near the top of the chat to make sure it's working.
  • Watch for at least three minutes.
  • Click the "notifications" option near the top right corner and click on the drop.
  • Select the "redeem" option to reveal your code for the Home Cape.

How to get the Menace Cape in Minecraft

The Menace Cape in Minecraft featuring a purple portal over a red background.
Image via Mojang

The Menace Cape can be unlocked by watching at least three minutes of live Minecraft content on TikTok before April 6. You must select a livestream rather than an already posted video to earn it, so here's how to make sure you get it done.

  • Open TikTok on mobile. Drops don't work on the desktop version.
  • Click on the home page by selecting the house icon in the bottom left corner.
  • Select the "search" option by clicking the magnifying glass in the top right corner.
  • Type the word "Minecraft" into the search bar.
  • Find a creator who is live and is streaming Minecraft content.
  • Watch for at least three minutes.
  • Click on the icon in the top left corner of the stream to copy your code for the Menace cape.

How to claim Home and Menace Capes in Minecraft

To claim your Home and Menace Capes, visit the official movie cape code redemption page and enter each of the codes you earned. Make sure you sign in to the correct account by selecting the option to do so in the top right corner.

Once you've done this, the capes will be unlocked and available to be equipped. It can take a while for your Home and Menace Capes to appear, so don't worry too much if you don't see them right away, as long as you've followed all of the necessary steps.

You must have Minecraft: Bedrock Edition to unlock the capes through the website. If you usually play this version, you're good to go, but if you instead use Minecraft: Java Edition, you need to unlock it for Bedrock first to get it to appear on Java. All Java users have access to Bedrock for free, so all you need to do is make sure both versions are linked to the same account before you visit the page to redeem your codes and log in.

If you want another cape for your collection, work on getting the Yearn Cape next. You also might like to know when the Happy Ghast is coming to Minecraft and how to get the Saxophone in the Minecraft Movie Live Event.

BO6 season 3 art featuring Hudson vs. Mace

The long wait for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's season three is finally over.

While Warzone is getting reinvigorated with Verdansk and an overhaul to the battle royale mode's quality of life, BO6 multiplayer and Zombies are both injecting a ton of content into the game like new weapons, maps, operators, and a whole lot more.

Here's everything coming to BO6 multiplayer in season three's update.

BO6 season 3 early patch notes

CoD operators fighting on BO6 Firing Range map

Although Warzone and Verdansk are the main theme of season three, there's still a fair amount of new content for BO6 multiplayer fans to dig in to.

New battle pass

As always, a new season means a new battle pass with dozens of new unlockable rewards. Rewards this season include several new weapons (detailed below), new operators, new blueprint weapons, a ton of cosmetics like weapon stickers, and a lot more.

This season's BlackCell operator is RO-Z3, a tribute to the infamous Roze skin from Modern Warfare.

Weapon balancing and other changes

The meta will shift again with new weapon nerfs and buffs for season three. Check back here closer to launch day to see what's new and different.

New multiplayer maps

Firing Range, a classic map from Black Ops 1, is returning again in the new season, widely regarded as one of the better maps in the franchise, but that's not all. Four new maps will make their way to BO6 this season: Barrage, Nomad, Haven, and Signal.

New weapons

Ladra SMG in BO6 season 3

With Warzone as a focal point this season, the weapons are returning ones from the past, including the CR-56 AMAX assault rifle, Kilo 141 assault rifle, HDR sniper rifle, Kali Sticks melee weapon, and finally, the Ladra SMG and Nail Gun, which will be coming mid-season.

New multiplayer modes

Long-time mode Demolition makes its return to CoD multiplayer, along with the party mode Sharpshooter, which also returns from BO1. A time-limited mode will also join mid-season.

  • Demolition

    • "Alternate between attacking and defending two bomb sites. The attacking team must destroy both bomb sites to win the round, gaining a time bonus after detonating the first site. All attacking Operators spawn with a bomb and respawns are active for both teams throughout the match."

  • Sharpshooter

    • "Flex your skills in this classic Black Ops free for all party mode where every Operator is assigned the same Loadout which changes every 45 seconds. Each cycle introduces a new Primary and Secondary Weapon from scoped Sniper Rifles to akimbo Pistols, plus a new Dedicated Melee weapon and Tactical and Lethal Equipment."

New events and limited time modes

  • Return to Verdansk - April 3 to 15

  • Black Ops Tribute - April 17 to May 1

    • "Earn cosmetic content and functional equipment, including the Nail Gun (Special Weapon), C9 10mm Auto 30-Round Mags (Attachment), Thermite (Lethal in Call of Duty: Warzone), Death Machine (Scorestreak in MP/Support in Zombies), Close Shave (MP Perk), an Emote, GobbleGums, and the fan-requested Operator, 'John Black Ops.'"

New equipment

Season three will add two new Perks and a new Scorestreak to the battlefield as event rewards throughout the season.

  • Perk Slot One: Close Shave

    • "Automatically use your Dedicated Melee attack when you perform a weapon butt attack. Simply tap the Melee button to attack. Like the old days!"

  • Perk Slot Two: Vendetta

    • "On respawn, mark your killer's last known position for a short duration. Get a bonus score for eliminating that enemy. The Vigilance Perk counters being marked by Vendetta.

  • Scorestreak: Death Machine

    • "Wield the infamous Death Machine, a powerful weapon with a single large magazine that fires high impact rounds at a blistering rate of fire. Score earned while using the Death Machine contributes to your current Scorestreak progress, making this a great tool for bumping up to the next streak."

As you gain more customers in Schedule 1, the demand for your products will gradually increase. It's hard to handle everything yourself, so having a few employees will help. Managing your workers requires knowing how to use a Management Clipboard to assign them tasks.

How to use the Management Clipboard in Schedule 1

After entering the warehouse and hiring a new worker through Manny, you'll receive a Management Clipboard that lets you assign workers to beds, workstations, and connecting station routes. You can use it by pressing 9 to equip the clipboard and selecting your worker or a workstation.

Managing workers

The exact way this works depends on the worker type. Every employee needs a bed, which you can assign by pressing E on the worker with the clipboard, selecting "None" next to Bed, and clicking on whichever one you want them to sleep in.

Schedule 1 managing an employee using the Management Clipboard
Screenshot by Destructoid

From here, you'll need to assign them to their workstation, which will vary depending on their profession. While a Handler will stick to spots like a Packaging Station, Botanists will go to your Grow Tents and harvest buds. Like with beds, you can assign workers to their respective stations by selecting the employee, choosing "Assigned Stations," and picking whichever one they need. Check out our complete Schedule 1 employee guide if you're unfamiliar with each type.

Managing workstations

You can also take your managing skills a step further by controlling your workstations. Here are some ways you can use the Management Clipboard to make your stations more efficient:

  • Select a Pot to choose its seed type, additives, and destination of harvested buds.
  • Select a Packaging Station to choose its shelf destination for packaged goods.
  • Select a Mixing Station to change its Threshold for the minimum number of products before mixing and its shelf destination for mixed goods.

By changing these settings on your workstations, your workers will know exactly what products go where, making organization much easier.

spring into spring key art pokemon go

Niantic has revealed Spring into Spring, a new Pokémon Go mini-event starting April 9 at 10am local time that adds new Pokémon and offers some nice bonuses to kickstart Spring as a whole.

The main highlight is the arrival of Gossifluer from the Galar region, making its Pokémon Go debut for the first time alongside its evolution Eldegoss. You'll need to evolve Gossifluer using the usual 50 candy to get Eldegoss, so thankfully there's no difficult evolution method needed this time around. Both Pokémon are not available as Shiny from the get-go.

Gossifluer and Eldegoss aren't the only highlights though, with Niantic announcing a host of event bonuses until the mini-event ends on April 14 at 8pm local time. These include:

  • 2x Lucky Egg duration
  • 2x Candy from hatched eggs
  • Increased chance of encountering Shiny Remoraid and Shiny Fletchling
  • 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are in incubators during the event

https://twitter.com/PokemonGoApp/status/1904236069715157318

The increased Shiny odds for Remoraid and Fletching are a welcome sight, but it'll still be rare to find a Shiny form of both of them unless your playing every hour of every day and checking every encounter you come across.

On top of the event bonuses, Niantic confirmed the wild encounters that'll be boosted during Spring into Spring, but with a twist. On top of Remoraid, Fletching, and Gossifluer spawning more frequently in the wild, the following Pokémon will appear more frequently on select dates.

April 9 to 10 will see Marill, Lotad, Ducklett, and Dewpider get increased spawns with Lapras being a rarer spawn. From April 11 to 12, the Pokémon will then switch out to Vulpix, Ponyta, Number, and Litleo, and if you're lucky you could also come across Hisuian Growlithe. The event will then end off from April 13 to 14 with increased spawns of Oddish, Hoppip, Roselia, and Cherubi, and if you're lucky you might even find a rare wild Alolan Exeggutor spawn.

Outside of wild spawns, there will also be a series of Egg exclusive Pokémon hatches. These include the following:

2km Eggs Spring into Spring 5km Eggs Spring into Spring
Magby Remoraid
Budew Fletching
Mantyke Gossifluer

Lastly, Niantic has confirmed a $2 paid research ticket that'll give trainers a bunch of extras during the event's duration. These include Timed Research tasks that'll give trainers 5,000 XP, One Lucky Egg, Two Super Incubators, and encounters with Remoraid, Fletching, and Gossifluer.

For veteran trainers, only Gossifluer's inclusion might entice people to play to add it to their growing Pokédex, but for new trainers, a healthy mix of different Pokémon every couple of days will offer an extra benefit for those who don't want to see the same Pokémon spawns every day for an entire week, so there is something for everyone.

Pokémon Go's Spring into Spring event begins April 9 at 10am local time, ending April 14 at 8pm local time.

BO6 Zombies Mansion sneak peek

Black Ops 6 Zombies The Tomb left us with another cliffhanger, hinting at a possible new location. The next Zombies map will be the "Shattered Veil," the latest area of Project Janus. Here's what to expect for the Shattered Veil, including a release date and features.

When does the Shattered Veil map come out in BO6 Zombies?

Although Verdansk has primarily taken the lead on BO6 and Warzone Season 3, Treyarch is still cooking with Zombies content. A few snippets have been shown, starting with a log from the fan-favorite character Edward Richtofen. We recently got a confirmation that the Shattered Veil map, previously known as "The Mansion," will be released in Season 3, which will launch a day earlier than expected on April 2, 2025, at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET/4 p.m. GMT.

Here's a countdown to keep you in the know about the BO6 Zombies Shattered Veil release:

[hurrytimer id="1039759"]

Due to the recent change in Season 3 timing, Warzone will be offline for 24 hours with the new update. It'll give you time to experience Shattered Veil, followed by Verdansk's return the following day.

Everything we know about the BO6 Zombies Shattered Veil map so far

The Shattered Veil takes place in a mansion, hence why it was originally given this title. A recent announcement from the CoD Pod indicates that the Shattered Veil will be "bigger than the Tomb and Liberty Falls." The sizing will relatively match Citadelle des Morts, which is a pretty extensive map compared to others. Previously, the first teaser shows this building covered in black smoke, with an outside setting similar to Citadelle des Morts' Town Square. The post teases, "Personal log. Edward Richtofen recording," suggesting he may finally be a playable character.

https://twitter.com/Treyarch/status/1899490651735310590

Considering that Richtofen has been mentioned in this post, his creation, the Wunderwaffe DG-2, could be the next Wonder Weapon. Before Black Ops 6 was released, we saw Edward holding this device in the Liberty Falls trailer, and now it seems like it'll be available in the Shattered Veil. Nevertheless, there's still potential for other Wonder Weapons to appear, whether an elemental staff or an entirely new tool.

Another BO6 Zombies teaser goes inside the building, displaying a painting of a mysterious man. Many fans believe this person in question is tied to Black Ops 4's The Order, as his clothing relatively matches the characters from this game. The Order was known for using Sentinel Artifacts, which is also a part of BO6's The Tomb. With these two hints, the Order may make a return, spreading chaos in Zombies once more.

Inside the Mansion Zombies map
Image via Activision

In recent news, we got a new Season 03 Zombies trailer that takes us inside the mansion. Two returning Wonder Weapons have been confirmed, bringing back the fan-favorite Ray Gun Mark 2 and Wunderwaffe DG-2. The Double Tap Perk Cola has also come back for more, where players can unleash numerous bullets in a single shot.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjdEtiV_n0I&rco=1

There are a few sneak peeks into each Shattered Veil room, including an entrance with a dinosaur skeleton at the center and an elevator filled with zombies. I wouldn't be surprised if some Easter Eggs were hidden there, too, but we'll have to see what it has in store for its April 2 debut.

Ray Gun Mark 2 in Shattered Veil trailer

Black Ops 6 Zombies has been a nostalgic ode for many undead players, with the return of many classic tools like the all-mighty Ice Staff. The upcoming release of the Shattered Veil map promises another beloved comeback with the Ray Gun Mark 2 and Wunderwaffe DG-2 Wonder Weapons.

The Season 3 Zombies trailer showed us the two weapons in action, doing what they do best—taking down hordes of zombies. It reminds me of the good 'ole days when I first picked up the Ray Gun Mark 2 on the Buried map, followed by the wonderful times I had with the Wunderwaffe DG-2 in Shi No Numa.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjdEtiV_n0I&rco=1

The Ray Gun Mark 2 takes everything the original version offered and ramps it up, wiping out multiple zombies with rapid-fire shots. The Wunderwaffe DG-2, on the other hand, unleashes electrical currents in a chain attack to fry zombies in its path. However, their capabilities may switch up in this new era of Call of Duty, especially with the more modern approach of BO6 Zombies' Shattered Veil map.

In addition to the Wonder Weapons returning, the Double Tap Perk Cola is on its way back. This Perk made you a rapid-fire machine, sending out a flurry of bullets to those pesky zombies. Although I was hoping for the Mule Kick (just to get that extra weapon on hand), the Double Tap will undoubtedly prove helpful in this next undead battle. Plus, there are some new GobbleGums, such as Tactical Diffusion, Support Group, and Die Pitched.

We also got a look into the Shattered Veil map as a whole, which takes place in a mansion. While it is an enclosed space, it doesn't seem to be as restrictive as the tight areas in the Tomb. In fact, the COD Pod indicated that it is larger than Liberty Falls and the Tomb, giving us a bit more freedom in movement.

I'm beyond excited to uncover the fresh puzzles and Easter Eggs waiting to be discovered, mainly if there are new crafting recipes for the iconic Wunderwaffe DG-2 and the Ray Gun Mark 2. The thrill of diving into these new secrets is just around the corner—get ready for an unforgettable adventure when the BO6 Zombies Shattered Veil map drops on April 2.

Marvel Rivals Thorforces challenge

Marvel Rivals' continuous supply of awesome skins for its growing roster of heroes continues as season one rounds to an end, ahead of even more awesome cosmetics sure to come in season two.

According to data miners, Hawkeye's legendary Ronin costume and Thor's Rune King costume will be the next to come to the Marvel Rivals shop, with a tentative release date of April 3, quickly following the Thrice-Cursed King costume for Black Panther and Fist of Vengeance costume for Moon Knight this weekend.

https://twitter.com/X0X_LEAK/status/1905197522898796676

Dataminers and leakers were all over the info this morning once a new update was pushed live for Marvel Rivals, revealing the two new skins. The info found within the files states that Hawkeye's Ronin Bundle will cost 2,200 Credits as it's a legendary with unique sounds and animations, and Thor's Rune King bundle is an epic skin and will be 1,600 Credits when they hit the store. Both bundles include additional items like MVP animations, emotes, and sprays.

Ronin Hawkeye first appeared in New Avengers #27 in 2004, and the costume for Hawkeye's alter ego made a brief appearance in the Avengers: Endgame movie when Clint Barton went rogue and started slicing and taking down gangsters and other evil-doers.

Rune King Thor first appeared in Thor #60 back in 1998, and is an extremely amped-up and more powerful version of the Asgardian God of Thunder. He was so powerful, in fact, that he was able to push Yggdrasil, the world tree, which holds an infinite amount of realities, worlds, and dimensions.

When it comes to Marvel Rivals, it feels like the potential for the game and its additional content is truly infinite. With the multiverse in mind, there's seemingly a never-ending supply of source material for heroes, maps, skins, and everything else to pull from, so the game's future continues to look bright well beyond its launch window.

Oh, and elsewhere in the datamine, a Twerking emote for Venom was also added as an April Fools' surprise and final reward for those who finish the Galacta's Cosmic Adventure event. So, there's that.

https://twitter.com/RivalsInfo/status/1905191131375153486

Season two of Marvel Rivals is tentatively set to begin on April 11.

A factory in Schedule 1

Every empire requires foot soldiers, and your trusted employees in Schedule 1 will help you expand your business horizons.

From packing and growing the products to packing and shipping them out, your employees can do many different things. However, the first job is to recruit them and then assign them to specific tasks. This guide will give you an idea about how the system of hiring a worker functions in Schedule 1.

How to hire employees in Schedule 1?

Recruiting workers in Schedule 1 is a mid-game activity, so you'll have to spend a few hours at least. You can get access by using console commands, but I wouldn't recommend that. Going organically will help you to enjoy your save much more, and understand how all the systems operate.

Workers in Schedule 1
Screenshot via TVGS

To hire an employee, go to the Warehouse after it's 6 pm. There are three vendors available at this location, and you'll want to approach Manny. Select "I want to hire employees" and pick the type you want. All four employees have different specializations and demand salaries accordingly.

  • Cleaner: $100/day
  • Botanist: $200/day
  • Handler: $200/day
  • Chemist: $300/day

You'll also have to spend a one-time fee to hire an employee, just like you have to do for a dealer. Once you hire an employee, you can assign them to a property you own.

How to assign employees in Schedule 1?

Once an employee has been hired, press 9 to equip your clipboard. Then, check each worker and press E to open their current assignments. Every worker requires a bed, and you can then assign them to specific tasks.

  • Cleaner: They can be assigned to nearby trash cans, and they will automatically sweep any garbage and put it in the dumpster.
  • Botanist: They can be assigned to supply shelves and grow pods. Once you set the seed to be planted in a specific pod, the botanist will take care of growing the plant.
  • Chemist: They can be assigned to properties like mixing stations and ovens.
  • Handler: You can assign them to packaging stations, and they are helpful in packing the products before they get shipped.

To pay an employee, approach the briefcase near their bed and add the money over there. I always pay them in advance (I play my video games like they are real life), but they might stop working if they go unpaid.

While we already have a healthy set of options when it comes to workers, we could end up getting new types as part of future updates.

Schedule 1 casino

Sometimes, it's fun to take a trip to Schedule 1's casino and try your luck at its machines. Although you can score big here, you can also land yourself on a losing streak if you're not careful. Let's find out how to find Schedule 1's casino and tips for making money here.

Schedule 1 Casino location

Schedule 1's casino is near the parking garage and supermarket along the northern coast. If you're at the Motel, you'll find it by heading directly east past Taco Ticklers. It's open from 4 p.m. to 5 a.m., so you have plenty of time to get morning work done before visiting this location.

Schedule 1 casino map

How to make money at the Casino in Schedule 1

As you enter the casino, you'll find a few slot machines, a Blackjack table, and a Ride the Bus table for quick money-making. Like real gambling, you can quickly lose money here if you get unlucky. If you get lucky, though, this can be one of Schedule 1's fastest money-making methods.

That said, there are some strategies you can use for each game, as detailed below.

Slot Machines

Schedule 1 slot machines
Screenshot by Destructoid

Schedule 1's slot machines are completely luck-based. As you approach them, you can change your bet to determine how much money you'll use per spin before pulling a large red lever on the machine's right side. There's no specific strategy involved: how much you bet will depend entirely on your funds and how lucky you feel.

Blackjack

Schedule 1 blackjack table
Screenshot by Destructoid

Of the three games available at Schedule 1's casino, Blackjack requires the most skill. While it's still primarily luck-based, you can use probability and math to increase your odds of winning. Below are some tips to help your chances:

  • Depending on your card totals, Ace values can change from 11 to 1. Use this to your advantage.
  • Always hit if your starting card totals are 11 or lower.
  • Stand if your totals are 17 or higher.
  • If your totals range between 13 to 16 and their revealed card is seven or higher, hit. Otherwise, stand.

In Blackjack, you'll have what's known as a Hard or Soft Total. A Hard Total is any pair of starting cards that don't include an Ace. For example, if you have a Queen and a six to start, your Hard Total is 16. If this Queen was an Ace instead, the total would initially be 17 but turn into 7 if you hit and go beyond 21. In this case, you want to hit, turn the Ace into a one, and add the new hard to your Hard total.

What if you had an Ace and nine, though? In this case, the two combined would add to 20, the second-best outcome you can have. You always want to stand in this situation, as the dealer's odds of surpassing this are low. They still can, but the odds are in your favor.

Ride the Bus

Schedule 1 ride the bus table
Screenshot by Destructoid

Lastly is Ride the Bus, a betting game where you guess the value of cards. Here are the four questions the dealer will ask as you play:

  • Is the card red or black?
  • Is the next card higher or lower than the previous card?
  • Is the next card inside or outside the last two's range?
  • What suit is the final card?

The first question is a 50-50 guess. You can back out now and reclaim your bet or guess if the next card will have a red or black suit. Think of it like a coin flip, with a win resulting in doubling your bet.

Next, you'll guess if the next card will be higher or lower than the previous one. This one will depend entirely on what your first card was. If the dealer pulled a two, you'll probably want to say higher. Similarly, if it is a 10 or a face card, the next one will likely be lower. If it was somewhere in the middle, you'd have another 50-50 guess if you continue your bet.

Now, for the most difficult to understand: the Inside or Outside question. This one involves guessing whether the third card will have a value between the first two. For example, if your first card was a two and the second was a five, you'd guess whether the next will be between these two numbers or outside their range. In this case, you'd have higher odds if you pick Outside. If the five was a 10 instead, Inside is your best bet.

Lastly, you have another (mostly) 25 percent chance of guessing which suit the final card will be. You can use your previous cards to narrow down options, but your odds of winning are low. Only take this one if you're willing to risk it all for a massive multiplier. There's no strategy for this aside from trusting your luck or redeeming your bet while it's still at a profitable point. It's not quite infinite money, but you can make a lot.

Three operators look out of a plane for the Warzone Verdansk return drop in

Season three of Black Ops 6 is a transformative one for Call of Duty's battle royale game, Warzone, as it's turning back the clock and bringing back Verdansk and a slew of other long-missed features.

Unfortunately, CoD spent the better part of the past few years removing a lot of the features players liked from the OG Warzone experience in 2020, and now a lot of it is returning. On top of Verdansk, things like classic weapons, floating loot, classic vehicles, 150 player count lobbies, and a whole lot more are coming back.

But it's not all old stuff, there's new content to look forward to, like a fresh mode called Battle Royale Casual, available on top of returning modes like regular BR, Plunder, Resurgence, and Boot Camp.

Here's everything there is to know about the newest additional game mode in BO6 season three for Warzone, Battle Royale Casual.

What is Warzone Battle Royale Casual?

Warzone Operators
Image via Activision

Battle Royale Casual is a new game mode in Warzone as of Black Ops 6's season three, launching on April 3, 2025. As its name suggests, it's a casual version of the normal playlists, featuring up to 120 AI bots and only 27 other human players.

Like the Warzone Boot Camp mode, Treyarch says "game progression is limited in this mode and results will not count towards or against your stats," so don't worry about sweaties clogging up the leaderboards by farming bots in Verdansk. This mode is all about casually playing for fun, exploration, or education, if you'd like to bring in a friend who hasn't played Warzone before and show them the ropes.

"Whether you're warming up, want a Battle Royale match that isn't quite as intense as facing off against 149 human opponents, or need to build up your confidence, Battle Royale Casual is likely the game mode for you," Activision explained.

Battle Royale Casual has the same ruleset as regular BR mode, just with the chance for lot less tryhard gamers (and, let's face it, a few hackers) ruining your time. Play it how you want to, because it's basically just a sandbox mode to have fun with.

Apart from progression not counting too much and an influx of bots over human players, it's the same old BR experience on Verdansk, so if it's not something that interests you, it can be ignored entirely while the more casual or new players try to have their own fun.

Get ready to be laid back and chill with BR Casual, or use it to warm up before sweating in Ranked Play once it returns in Season Three Reloaded.

A bunch of Marvel Rivals skins that can be earned using a Costume Coin.

Although Marvel Rivals is free, there's plenty of additional content you can unlock to enhance your experience. One of the premium offerings you can acquire is the Pick-Up Bundle, and it's quite unlike anything else offered in Marvel Rivals.

Since this package is unique, you might be unsure how it works and whether it's worth getting. There's a lot to it, so here's everything you need to know about the Pick-Up Bundle in Marvel Rivals.

How to get the Marvel Rivals Pick-Up Bundle

The hyper orange venom skin and all other pick-up bundle rewards in marvel rivals
Screenshot by Destructoid

To unlock the Pick-Up Bundle, you need to purchase it from the shop in Marvel Rivals. Once it's unlocked, you can claim a fresh reward each time you finish three rounds until the entire pass is complete.

Is the Marvel Rivals Pick-Up Bundle free?

The Pick-Up Bundle is not free and cannot be obtained using any game currencies you can earn for playing. Most items can eventually be earned with free currencies by playing, but this bundle is not one of them and can only be unlocked by spending actual money.

How much does the Pick-Up Bundle cost in Marvel Rivals?

The Pick-Up Bundle costs $2.99 to unlock. Once purchased, you have access to all the rewards in this bundle forever, so you can take as long as you need to complete it. This works just like the battle pass system to allow flexibility with when and how you choose to complete it.

All Marvel Rivals Pick-Up Bundle rewards

There are five different rewards you can unlock throughout the Pick-Up Bundle.

  • Hyper Orange Venom skin
  • 200 Chrono Tokens
  • One Costume Coin
  • One Hyper Orange Venom spray
  • One Hyper Orange Venom nameplate

The Chrono Tokens are divided up over time, so you don't get all 200 right away and instead unlock 50 at a time. All other rewards are singular and awarded only once as soon as you reach them in the pass.

How to get Hyper Orange Venom in Marvel Rivals

You unlock the Hyper Orange Venom skin immediately as soon as you purchase the Pick-Up Bundle from the shop. The only way to acquire it is through this special bundle, so if you're interested in this look for him, you must purchase it to add the skin to your collection.

Does the Costume Coin work for all skins in Marvel Rivals?

The Costume Coin doesn't work for all of the shop skins in Marvel Rivals. Instead, you can only use it to unlock a skin from a specific collection of outfits. There are still plenty of options to choose from, though.

All Costume Coin exchange skins in Marvel Rivals

There are 32 different skins you can choose between when using the Costume Coin you earn from this bundle. Not all playable characters have free skins in this collection, but the vast majority of them do.

  • Adam Warlock - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
  • Black Panther - Bast's Chosen
  • Black Widow - White Suit
  • Captain America - Captain Gladiator
  • Cloak & Dagger - Growth & Decay
  • Doctor Strange - Sorcerer Supreme
  • Groot - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
  • Hawkeye - Freefall
  • Hela - Goddess of Death
  • Iron Fist - Sword Master
  • Iron Man - Superior Iron Man
  • Jeff the Land Shark - Incognito Dolphin
  • Loki - Loki Season Two
  • Luna Snow - Shining Star
  • Namor - Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
  • Magik - Eldritch Armor
  • Magneto - Master of Magnetism
  • Mantis - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
  • Moon Knight - Mister Knight
  • Peni Parker - Ven#m
  • Psylocke - Vengeance
  • Rocket Raccoon - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
  • Scarlet Witch - Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
  • Squirrel Girl - Urban Hunter
  • Spider-Man - Bag Man Beyond
  • Star-Lord - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
  • Storm - Mohawk Rock
  • The Punisher - Punisher 2099
  • Thor - Herald of Thunder
  • Venom - Space Knight
  • Winter Soldier - Revolution
  • Wolverine - Deadpool & Wolverine

How long is the Pick-Up Bundle available in Marvel Rivals?

As of the time of writing, it's currently unknown how long the Pick-Up Bundle will be available in the shop. The only official information that has been shared so far is that it's available from 9pm CT on March 27 onward.

A good guess as to when this offering might be removed is April 11, 2025, which is when season one ends and season two begins. This bundle features currency for the battle pass, so it would make sense for this offering to be removed before the next pass begins.

Is the Marvel Rivals Pick-Up Bundle worth it?

The Pick-Up Bundle is absolutely worth it in Marvel Rivals if you're at all interested in the Hyper Orange Venom skin or any of the ones that can be unlocked using the Costume Coin. All of the skins you can redeem using the Costume Coin are a lot pricier to acquire outside of this pass, and you also get the Hyper Orange Venom skin plus some additional loot to go with it. It's a superb deal for the price.

The city of Schedule 1 photographed from above during sunrise.

I like how Schedule 1's menu is styled like a smartphone. It makes sense with the setting, and it has a useful built-in clock. But even if it makes for a cool UI, it's not quite peak user experience.

The normal map is crammed into a small central portion of the screen, which makes it hard to zoom in and see the details without losing track of where you are. That's why we made a giant, full screen version of Schedule 1's city of Hyland Point, complete with symbols indicating the most important locations in the game.

The full map of Schedule 1

The map from the game Schedule 1

Here's the full map of Schedule 1 in as much detail as the game allows, all on one screen. To learn what the symbols mean, read the rest of the guide.

Businesses and properties locations

The laundromat from Schedule 1 seen from above
Screenshot by Destructoid

Businesses and properties are highlighted on the map above by a blue circle containing the white outline of a home. A number indicates which business or property is which. Rays Realty, the real estate agency where you can purchase those locations, is marked with the letter R instead.

  • 1 – RV
  • 2 – Motel Room (and motel property)
  • 3 – Chinese Restaurant/Sweatshop
  • 4 – Bungalow
  • 5 – Docks Warehouse
  • 6 – Barn
  • 7 – Laundromat
  • 8 – Taco Ticklers
  • 9 – Post Office
  • R – Rays Realty (real estate agent)

Most of those locations unlock a bigger house, a new workplace for you and your henchmen, or a nifty passive income, but some are more complex. The laundromat conducts money laundering, increasing how much money you can keep in your bank account.

Other locations in Schedule 1

The gas-mart from Schedule 1 during the night.
Screenshot by Destructoid

You already know about Dan's Hardware, the first store you visited in Schedule 1. But there are plenty of deals to make in the city of Hyland Point that don't revolve around dirt and fertilizer. We placed bright blue letters on the map to highlight all the stores we found in the game, followed by a key below.

  • D – Dan's Hardware
  • G – Gas-Mart (there are multiple Gas-Marts in the game)
  • B – Body Shop
  • T – Thrifty Threads
  • TT – Top Tatoos
  • W – Warehouse
  • S – Shred Shack
  • A – Hyland Auto

Some of those stores will sell you the ingredients and tools necessary to keep your supplies flowing and your empire growing. Others let you change your appearance, like Thrifty Threads with its clothes. Only a few stores do something different.

Rays Realty, which we already mentioned, allows you to buy new locations. Hyland Auto is where you can buy a car, and buying a car is the only way to drive around in the game. If you don't have the money for a van yet, how about another four-wheeler?

Shred Shack will sell you a skateboard, which is functionally a vehicle with no cargo. Meanwhile, the only place that will sell you a gun is the Warehouse, and it's only available later into the game. Weirdly enough, it's the only place you can buy a melee weapon as well.

Benji in Schedule 1

Having a robust network of dealers is vital to turn your drug business into an empire, and Schedule 1 has several available to do your bidding.

While every region has a dealer present to help you move your products, they're locked at first. In fact, the first one you unlock is Benji (available in Northtown), but you'll get more options to explore as you start unlocking new areas on the map. Unfortunately, the game doesn't tell you much about how to unlock more than one dealer, and this guide will help you expand your network.

How to hire more dealers in Schedule 1

The process begins with hiring Benji, who is part of the main quests. Keep completing them, and you'll have the option to recruit Benji. To complete the process, you'll need to find ten new customers in Northtown and have good relations with Benji's direct clients.

To get more dealers, open your phone and check the Contacts app. Check who is available in the other locations, and they will usually appear as ???. To identify them, you'll first have to unlock customers in a new area. Have some extra inventory, and start attracting new clients by offering them free samples. Once you have unlocked enough clients in a new region, you'll find the link to unlocking a new dealer.

Image of your phone in Schedule 1
Screenshot via Destructoid

To wrap up the process, here's a summary of the process.

  • Level up your character.
  • Gain access to new areas.
  • Offer free samples and attract new customers.
  • Find out the dealer in a new region.
  • Appease the clients who have direct links with the dealer and reach a friendly status with them.
  • Hire the dealer, and he will start working in your network.

While dealers are sometimes expensive to sign, and they take a percentage of your sales, hiring them always makes sense. Whenever you gain access to a new region, make sure to prioritize unlocking the available dealer.

A view from above of the city in Schedule 1.

From getting back on land after getting stuck who knows where to hacking in a photo mode of sorts, there's nothing a good console command can't do. No matter what your hangup is with Schedule 1, there's a cheat that will make your life easier.

Cheats like spawning the vehicle of your dreams instead of buying a car normally or making the police way more aggressive to have a proper standoff before putting them back into their neutral state when the heat gets too intense. All this at the press of a button. How do you do that? One thing at a time. First, let's look at how to enable console commands in Schedule 1.

How to use console commands in Schedule 1

The menu that activates cheats in Schedule 1
Screenshot by Destructoid

Enabling console commands in Schedule 1 is extremely simple. Just load your game and open the in-game Settings menu. You'll find a toggleable box called Console under the Game sub-menu. Click it, and you'll gain the ability to use cheats.

To actually use cheats, you'll need to leave the menu and press the tilde (~) button, which is usually found to the left of the 1 key. Opening the console this way doesn't pause the game, so watch out. Now, you only need some commands to input. You can find a list of all the cheats in Schedule 1 in the in-game menu. You can access this list by pressing the View Commands button under the Console toggle button you just pressed.

Every console command and cheat in Schedule 1

A menu in Schedule 1 called Console Commands, showing some of the cheats in Schedule 1

While they're also available inside the game, here's a partial list of the console commands Schedule 1. It might come in handy if you want to keep the list on a second monitor or on your phone.

We removed a handful of commands from the full list, but don't worry. Those are worthless for regular users since they require variable names and other technical knowledge. They were probably meant to be used exclusively during development, but they made their way into the game anyway. All the commands are non-case sensitive.

point of interest in a brief history of rocks quest

A Brief History of Rocks in Genshin Impact is a part of the main quest chain in Atocpan. The quest itself is pretty simple, as you only have to break some Pulverites and touch the Iridescent Inscriptions.

Here's a simple guide on how to start and complete the A Brief History of Rocks quest.

A Brief History of Rocks is one of the two quests that you must finish to complete The Way Into the Mountain quest. You can start by going to the Remnants of Tetenanco and talking to the nameless NPC near the teleport waypoint. He will ask you to clear all the rocks around the ruins.

Clear away the Pulverite

Interact with a Tatankasaur Spiritscone and use its charge ability to destroy all the Pulverite around the ruins. Doing so will reveal 4 Iridescent Inscriptions.

Touch the Iridescent Inscriptions

Touch all the Iridescent Inscriptions near the ruin, excluding the one near the light wall:

  • Inscription #1 - It is located southeast of the sealed ruin.
  • Inscription #2 - South of the sealed ruin.
  • Inscription #3 - Near the liquid Phlogiston (lava).

When you collect the Iridescent Inscription near the liquid Phlogiston, a Fluid Avatar of Lava will spawn. You must defeat it to access the Inscription and touch it again. Once that is done, a cutscene will begin, and the light wall on the ruin will disappear.

Talk to the person who guards his place
