On December 26, Microsoft confirmed that its Game Pass cloud streaming platform wasn't working as expected. Over 24 hours later, many players are still complaining about long waits and disconnects. This outage comes at a time when Microsoft has been pushing a new marketing slogan that claims everything connected to…
There are only two episodes left in Marvel's animated anthology series What If...?, and one of the multiverse's most disgruntled employees is finally getting reprimanded by upper management. In the third-to-last episode of the series, Uatu, better known as The Watcher, was visited by three other Watchers—The Eminence,…
Finding out how to get Units in Marvel Rivals is a surprisingly difficult task. The game doesn't outright tell you how to earn them anywhere. And, when you do earn them, it's hard to tell where they're coming from. However, this galactic currency will be very important in-game.
Akihiro Hino, in an interview with 4Gamer, stated that 2025 will be a year of progress for Level-5. This means a worldwide release of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, and Professor Layton and the New World of Steam. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
In his comment, Hino states that all three titles are chock-full of what makes Level-5 games "Level-5," while still providing new experiences for the player. He hopes to create works that'll make people say, "I was waiting for something like this." As well, Hino mentions the Inazuma Eleven movie that came out in Japan on December 27, 2024. Part of the movie is a compilation of the Football Frontier matches (season 1), while the other one is The Prologue to New Heroes which focuses on new protagonists Unmei and Haru.
While Level-5 announced Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time and Professor Layton and the New World of Steam rather recently, Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road has been in development since 2016. Back then, it was supposed to be Inazuma Eleven Ares, and the Ares no Tenbin show started airing in 2018 to tie into it. After several delays and name changes, a beta version finally came out in 2024.
Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will come out in 2025 for the PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices. Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time will come out in April 2025 for the Nintendo Switch. Finally, Professor Layton and the New World of Steam will come out for the Switch in 2025.
Several key staff members from Bandai Namco shared their aspirations for 2025 with 4Gamer. Some of them revealed that they are preparing for the respective 30th anniversaries of the Tales Of and Ace Combat series in the same year. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
Most of the company's staff members who sent their messages, including Tekken 8's Katsuhiro Harada and the Gundam Breaker 4 producer Masanori Tanaka, only stated their intentions to continue updating their respective games. Meanwhile, Yosuke Futami is preparing to release the PvPvE mech shooting game Synduality: Echo of Ada physically on January 16, 2025, and digitally on January 23, 2025.
However, the key staff behind Tales Of and Ace Combat left the most notable comments. Yusuke Tomizawa made the following comment as the Tales Of series producer:
The Tales Of series will reach its complete 30th anniversary in 2025. We have been planning numerous anniversary projects since the end of last year, so we want to celebrate it with everyone who have supported the series until now, and I would also like to add more support to the series' future.
One of them will be past title remaster project which has also launched; the release of Tales of Graces f Remastered is also coming soon on January 16. As this game is one of the series' top masterpieces, those who haven't played it yet should also definitely [get this]!
Yusuke Tomizawa
Meanwhile, the Ace Combat series producer Kazutoki Kono chimed in about the franchise's next new game, which has been under development since as early as 2021:
. . .Right now, we are developing a new game in the Ace Combat series, and as we pile up issues almost daily, we are also living with utmost efforts towards the days where we can start seeing results. It will still take a bit more time until the new game is announced, but since 2025 is also the 30th anniversary series of the Ace Combat series, I want to properly hype it up together with all the fans.
Kazutoki Kono
Both the Ace Combat and Tales Of series debuted in 1995. Namco released the first Ace Combat for PlayStation in Japan on June 30, 1995, and in North America as Air Combat on September 9, 1995. It later released the RPG title Tales of Phantasia for Super Famicom (SNES) in Japan on December 15, 1995.
The latest mainline entries for both franchises are Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown in 2019 and Tales of Arise in 2021. Both titles are readily available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Tales of Arise also has native PS5 and Xbox Series X releases, while Ace Combat 7 is playable on the newer consoles via backward compatibility. Bandai Namco has also released a Nintendo Switch port of Ace Combat 7 in 2024, but it has still yet to announce a Tales of Arise port to a Nintendo console as of the end of 2024.
Tales of Graces f Remastered will appear as a part of Bandai Namco's project to remaster prior Tales Of entries for the series' 30th anniversary in 2025. It will be available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, and PC on January 17, 2025.
A new post on the official FFXIV official blog detailed the upcoming 2025 Heavensturn event, including showing off a new Great White Tsuchinoko minion. The event is set to begin on December 31, 2024, and it will remain available until January 16, 2025.
As detailed in the announcement, the event quest can be started in Limsa Lominsa by speaking to the Hebi Bugyo on the Upper Decks. Players will also be able to earn the Springtide Fan Stand and the Oriental New Year's Meal furnishings, while Omikuji fortunes are again available for 100 gil.
Here is how the Great White Tsuchinoko minion, Springtide Fan Stand and the Oriental New Year's Meal look in FFXIV.
The post also reminds players that several Christmas-themed items like the Starlight Stalls Chocobo Barding will remain available in-game. We can participate in the Starlight Celebration until December 31, 2024.
Earlier in December 2024, Samsung Japan announced a new advertising campaign for its Samsung 990 Pro SSD. It features artwork of the 22 jobs available in FFXIV. The game's online store also recently added a new purchaseable outfit based on G'raha Tia.
Final Fantasy XIV and its most recent expansion, Dawntrail, are immediately available on the PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The 2025 Heavensturn celebration is set to begin in-game in FFXIV on December 31, 2024, and that will run until January 16, 2025.
As part of the latest 4Gamer New Year's interview discussing 2025 plans with various developers, Persona 5 Tactica Director Naoya Maeda and SMT V and SMT V Vengeance Producer Shinjiro Takata teased new unannounced Atlus games. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
When asked what are their plans for the next year 2025, Maeda said that he's sorry for not being able to give any details about the game he's currently working on, but that he's confident that players will enjoy it. Meanwhile, Takata said he hopes to be able to announce a new title as soon as possible.
The developers gave no more details or comments about the unannounced Atlus games. Takata's body of work within Atlus has mainly focused on the Shin Megami Tensei series, while Maeda is part of P-Studio and has mostly worked on games belonging to the Persona series. With this in mind, the words of both Atlus veterans might be a hint that they are working on separate unannounced SMT and Persona games during 2025.
In addition to the aforementioned titles, Maeda worked as lead designer in Persona 5 and was a designer on the Persona Q series, with Takata acting as the Producer of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE and working as Director and Producer of the Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor sub-series.
In the December 2023 version of the 4Gamer interview, Soul Hackers 2 and Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Director Eiji Ishida teased another unannounced Atlus game. As of writing this, we still don't know what this game is, or if it is related to the titles that Maeda and Takata are working on.
Oshi no Ko is one of the best anime and manga series in recent memory, but what about the live action series? Well, I watched the entire series from start to finish to let everyone know. The Oshi no Ko live action series isn't actually bad at all; just decent. However, this series is very much made, specifically, for existing manga and anime fans.
The main issue behind this Japanese TV series is the format of it. It has eight episodes in total in its first and only season, adapting a large portion of the manga in a handful of episodes. Though these eight episodes are more than double the length of a normal anime episode, it does so much in so little time.
Image via Prime Video
Without spoiling too much, the only existing season of this series adapts both seasons of the anime within eight episodes and even goes beyond that point in the manga. There are entire episodes that adapt a single arc, while others are done in a couple of episodes. This is such a swift pace that anyone new to the series will likely be left behind pretty easily.
The series just doesn't take enough time for some plot points to resonate. Some of my favorite scenes only last for a minute at best. For instance, there is the fight between Akane and Arima during the Tokyo Blade production. This part almost needs 10-20 minutes to really dive into their argument and the backstories between them. However, it is done in a few seconds.
This unbelievably fast pace does lead to some positives. For one, it is a great way to recap the series for existing fans. In addition, some of the twists and turns have surprising emotional impact since they come out of nowhere at times. But if you are new, this is not the place to start.
Another concerning aspect of the Oshi no Ko live action series is what it changes. Some of this is intentional and interesting, but others are downright problematic. I won't spoil the premise for newcomers, but it revolves around a pregnant teen idol. The manga and anime start with this twist and shows the idol Ai giving birth and all that.
Image via Prime Video
However, this live action adaptation skips straight to Ai's twin children as toddlers. Worse still, it doesn't properly address Ai's doctor and that situation until the end. This is even though this is the very beginning of the series. It is an intriguing change I like. But if you aren't familiar with the storyline, it is confusing and unnecessary.
Then there are the changes to the Tokyo Blade story arc. In the original series, this is a stage play. This live action series was an excellent chance to make a real-life stage play episode. However, that isn't the case. Not only is there not enough footage of Tokyo Blade itself, but it is a TV series rather than a stage play now. This is by far the most controversial change for me, which made this already somewhat boring arc even worse.
There is also a key missing character, which I dare not spoil here. But the return to Miyazaki Prefecture doesn't see the introduction of a certain person there. Overall, the Oshi no Ko live action series will be quite confusing for newcomers to the franchise. It is a shame because the production value and most of the actors are excellent; just look at Ai's opening performance scene and you'll see. Nagisa Saito as Ruby is particularly impressive and she only gets better as the series goes on.
Unfortunately, though, the Oshi no Ko live action series is made in a way where it only works for existing fans. Whether you miss the manga or are waiting for the anime to come back, this is a great way to recap the series. It moves so fast that it doesn't waste your time and it adapts the series well to live action. However, if you are new, it is best to read the manga or watch the two seasons of the anime first before checking this out.
The Oshi no Ko live action series is available on Prime Video.

After weeks of rumors, Warner Bros. and DC confirmed today that The Batman - Part II has been delayed again. The planned Batman sequel is now set to land in theaters in 2027, five years after the release of the first movie and nearly eight years after Robert Pattinson was cast as the iconic DC hero.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is out in theaters now, and as we've long known, the third live-action movie about Sega's speedy mascot is heavily inspired by Sonic Adventure 2. The 2001 Dreamcast game introduced a new brooding antihero in Shadow the Hedgehog, and expanded the Sonic mythos into some dark territory. Sonic 3 isn't…
The Switch is running on fumes. It might not be gong out with a whimper, but the needle is past empty. The 2024 release calendar was spotty at best, and even some of the more notable games that did come to the handheld hybrid, of which there were strikingly few, struggled to run on the nearly eight-year-old tech.…

Back in March, I gave Dragon's Dogma 2 a 7/10. This came with no short amount of second-guessing and hand-wringing. Review score discourse is a cyclical, circular mire that's more trouble than it's worth, and I'm not about to wade into it here. Suffice it to say that PCGN, like every publication, has a review scale predicated on bugs, polish, and design. With this subjective bible in hand, my decision to run with the 7/10 was in part down to its crippling PC performance at launch. It was also down to friction.

December 27, 2024: We have checked for new Berry Avenue codes to add to this list.
What are the new Berry Avenue codes? Rather than being a conventional Roblox game that uses tower defense, RPG, or shooting game-style mechanics, Berry Avenue is a playground where you can buy a house, work a job, or drive around without a care in the world looking fabulous.
However, you may have noticed that everyone else looks much more stylish than most Roblox experiences. Is this because of the time they spent playing the roleplay sandbox game or perhaps linked to how much they paid in real-world money? While you're here, you should know that we also keep lists of Blox Fruits codes, King Legacy codes, and Anime Adventures codes to get you some free items and rolls for those games.

However, this one is a good option if you ever want to transform into the likes of Goku, Luffy, or Naruto and punch/Ki Blast/ninjitsu your way through hordes of enemies.
There are plenty of other anime-inspired games on the Roblox platform with redeemable codes for free in-game currency and more. This includes Anime Adventures codes, Project Slayers codes, and Kage Tycoon codes. For now, though, here are some Anime Dimensions codes that can get you free gems and boosts for your chosen fighter.
The NieR: Automata video game has surpassed 9 million units sold as of late December 2024. Square Enix made the new milestone announcement via the official X account for the NieR series. The company combined the number of physical shipments and digital sales worldwide throughout all platforms on which the game has been available, which are the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch.
The last milestone Square Enix declared before this was 8 million in late February 2024. That announcement coincided with the seventh anniversary of NieR: Automata, which launched first on the PS4 in Japan on February 23, 2017. This means it took around ten months for NieR: Automata to add another million to its lifetime sales figure and reach 9 million.
The sheer popularity of NieR: Automata led to an anime adaptation of the game being made. The second cour of NieR: Automata Ver1.1a aired in 2024. Many companies also revealed a plethora of figures and other merchandise based on the anime adaptation throughout the year. The merchandise lineup ranged from crane game prize items to luxurious jewelry. The figures are also available in various sizes from 1/4 scale to smaller non-scale figures like Pop Up Parades and chibi versions like Tiny Melties.
NieR: Automata is available worldwide on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
There's a major issue occurring in the Epic Games Store following Hot Wheels Unleashed launching as the free game, with people reporting internal server error and "Sorry, you have been blocked" messages due to purchase issues. The official status site noted that Epic is investigating the problem. A player support site notice also said responses to inquiries will take longer than usual.
From firsthand experience, here's what I experienced when attempting to claim Hot Wheels Unleashed. After selecting the game, I was able to make it to the checkout page. After selecting the button to add the game to my library, the problem occurred. Instead of the internal server error message, however, Epic Games Store returned with a prompt reading, "Sorry, you have been blocked," and telling me to check in with Epic Games with the Cloudflare Ray ID and explain what happened when the message occurred. I was unable to close the Epic Games Store launcher when this occurred. Instead, I had to manually restart the device.
Many people are reporting similar issues and experiences under the official Epic Games Store social media announcements for the free game Hot Wheels Unleashed. Folks are also reporting that this is affecting actual purchases in addition to the free game.
This is the ninth free game as part of the holiday event on the storefront. On December 26, 2024, we were able to claim Ghostrunner 2 for free. There will still be a free game available every day until January 1, 2025. On January 2, 2025, the normal schedule will resume with one game free for a full week.
Aside from the notifications available on the status and support sites, Epic Games has not commented on the "Sorry, You Have Been Blocked" messages, server problems, or store purchase issue. The company also didn't note what will happen with the free game Hot Wheels Unleashed if the problem is not resolved. The title will only be available for free until December 28, 2024.
Clive Rosfield was announced as the final DLC character for Tekken 8 Season 1. It's kind of cool seeing the protagonist of Final Fantasy XVI going toe-to-toe with the likes of Jin Kazama. Even better, unlike fellow Final Fantasy guest character Noctis in Tekken 7, we'll get to dress Clive up in the goofiest outfits possible, as with any other Tekken character.
There's just one problem. He's the wrong Final Fantasy character.
Image via Bandai Namco
This is not a new reaction. When Noctis was announced for Tekken 7, there was widespread confusion. Why is this character, best known for using a sword, appearing in a series based around unarmed martial arts? Why don't they put him in Soulcalibur? It's the same criticism for Clive, as he also uses a sword as his primary weapon, although, admittedly, there isn't an imminent Soulcalibur game to direct him towards this time.
Noctis already felt like a weird addition in Tekken 7. His move list was considerably shorter than most of the roster, likely due to how limited the options from Final Fantasy XV were. His sword also gave him a wider range than most of the cast, offset only by his linearity. He was both less fun to play as and less fun to play against, and simply didn't fit Tekken.

Clive in Tekken 8 isn't as sword-heavy as Noctis based on the gameplay that's been shown off. However, he does still appear to have the same issue of a limited moveset. As much as I enjoyed Final Fantasy XVI, it didn't live up to the promise of a real-time action game as much as I would have liked because of how few moves Clive had available to. This already appears to be a problem for his Tekken moveset, as it draws heavily from the powers of the various Eikons. These look flashy and exciting in a trailer, but much like his home game, I can see their presence becoming repetitive and limited in the long run. Once again, there's a feeling that he simply won't fit well with the rest of the roster.
To counter the "sword user" criticism, you might say, there is Yoshimitsu. He's been in Tekken since day one, always cropping up on the roster brandishing his mystical katana. But that's the thing. Yoshimitsu is the notorious weirdo of Tekken. He's deliberately unconventional, a guy who not only brings a sword to a fist fight, but also becomes a human helicopter, throws out poison gas and arbitrarily kills himself. His whole deal is that he's not normal and was designed to be part of this roster with that in mind.

If Tekken must have a Final Fantasy guest character, there are much more appropriate choices. The Monk class has been around since the original NES game, and they fight with their fists. Any monk would be a more ideal fit for a cast full of practitioners of karate, taekwondo and assorted wushu styles. Many prominent characters across the series have been part of this class too, such as Zell, the hyperactive hot dog lover from Final Fantasy VIII, or Sabin, Final Fantasy VI's resident train suplexer. However, there is one Monk character who is more iconic than all of them: Tifa Lockhart.
In fact, she is arguably the most requested guest character by the Tekken community. Any cursory glance at discussions around potential guests for the series are often topped by two main requests: a Yakuza character and Tifa. Yakuza is often a more free-form request. While Kazama Kiryu is inevitably brought up, rumors that Ichiban Kasuga might be in the game were met with positive reaction. Goro Majima is also, unsurprisingly, another popular request. It helps that Yakuza's brand of angry fighty men in increasingly absurd situations matches Tekken's vibe so well that anyone fits.

However, there are never requests that state they want "a Final Fantasy character". The requests are always specifically Tifa. This is why the presence of Clive has been met with anger at worst and confusion at best from the wider Tekken 8 community. Certainly, there are some who are happy with the choice and are willing to give Clive a chance, but overall, the reaction can be boiled down "we asked for Tifa though" and it's hard to ignore that she would have been the better choice.
Tifa would be a perfect fit for Tekken. For a start, she has a fighting style that matches a fighting game in a more obvious way. While her martial arts style is officially undefined, her moves in Final Fantasy draw from a mixture of kickboxing and gymnastics. Tekken already has plenty of kickboxers in its history and the likes of Lili show off how well an acrobatic style fits. She wouldn't be the first Tekken character to blend styles either. The Mishima style of karate is already a brutal deviation from the traditional style, after all, and it's the signature style of the whole franchise.
Image via Square Enix
Her move list feels like it could be filled with much more fitting options simply based on her home games. Her basic moves from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth alone could be broken down to fill out a good chunk of a notoriously large Tekken move list. Her basic combos (including those initiated from a dodge) already include a jab flurry, several roundhouse kicks, a lunging punch, a slide kick and an overhead flip kick. All standard for most Tekken kits.
But on top of that, most of her Abilities would help round out that list and still feel like natural martial arts moves instead of the flashy Eikon moves filling out Clive's list. Unbridled Strength also gives her an automatic Heat Engager, which means Omnistrike and Rise and Fall could easily become her Heat-exclusive moves. In other words, she's practically already built for a transition into Tekken 8. Throw in some Dissidia moves where possible and you're all set.
On a personal level, Tifa has always been one of the more enjoyable characters to play as in any game she's available. In the FF7 remakes, she's always in my party when I can get away with it, simply because I love switching to her fast flurry style. She was also a favorite in Dissidia 012. I can guarantee that if she was in Tekken 8, I would be genuinely tempted away from Xiaoyu, my typical main. I can't say I feel as easily tempted to play Clive.
Image via Bandai Namco
There is, of course, another major reason she would be the better addition. Final Fantasy VII and its cast are iconic. Tifa is a character that would get so many people excited, simply because of the fond feelings people have for her home game. It's a level of fame and adoration Clive and Final Fantasy XVI can only dream of. However, I feel this may also be the reason she didn't get in. After all, the choice of Clive or Tifa would come down to Square Enix, not Bandai Namco. Once you've figured that out, the decision to pick Clive makes sense from Square Enix's perspective.
Either character could easily tempt some Final Fantasy players to play Tekken 8, but there's a sense that most Tekken players are already aware of and have played Final Fantasy VII and its remakes. But for Clive, there could be a higher chance of getting those players to try out Final Fantasy XVI. Bandai Namco wins Final Fantasy fans over to try their game either way, but Square Enix only wins Tekken 8 fans over to their side with Clive. Which is almost certainly why things went the way they did.
Of course, there is an easy compromise to all of this. Simply let Clive channel his voice actor and let him wear Tifa's outfit. It's the only way.
Tekken 8 is out now for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Clive Rosfield from Final Fantasy XVI will be added as a standalone DLC character on December 20, 2024.
A movie adaptation of indie game The Exit 8 is in production, and it'll come out some time in 2025. Toho has uploaded a short trailer onto its YouTube channel.
You can watch the trailer for the The Exit 8 movie here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05gfeo6Ipmg
It features a very familiar subway station, as well as a very familiar middle-aged man. A creepy child-like voice reads out the rules for the game. Then, at the end, we see the same middle-aged man and same hallway. There's no information on the plot or characters for the film adaptation in this trailer, as it's only giving a basic idea of what the story is about for those who might not be familiar with the source material.
The Exit 8 is an walking simulator and puzzle game that came out in late 2023. The point of the game is to try and escape a never-ending subway station, turning back when you notice any abnormalities in your surroundings. It achieved popularity through word of mouth, as well as multiple streamers who uploaded themselves playing the game throughout 2024. A sequel, Platform 8, came out in 2024 with a similar premise. Kotake Create, the developer, stated that he doesn't plan on making any more in this genre, and he's working on an action game instead.
The Exit 8 is on the PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC
A collaboration event between Ensemble Stars and Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage will take place from February 15, 2025. A live concert with all the characters will also appear in Colorful Stage on February 22 and 23, 2025.
The story of the event will follow idols from both games participating in Astro Fes, a major musical event in Japan. It then shows all of the characters who'll play a part in the event. Characters from each game will be paired up: Akito with Jun, Tenma with Chiaki, Toya with Izumi, and Rui with Natsume. All eight characters will also sing the new collaboration song, which is one that originally uses Kagamine Len and Kaito. More information on the collaboration will appear at a later date.
Ensemble Stars and Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage are both rhythm games that focus on young Japanese idols. Whereas Colorful Stage combines an original story and cast with familiar Vocaloid characters, Ensemble Stars is entirely original. Both are very popular in Japan and in abroad. A movie is in production for Colorful Stage, for example. Meanwhile, multiple spin-offs and adaptions have come out for Ensemble Stars since the franchise's beginning in 2015.
The Ensemble Stars and Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage collaboration event will take place from February 15, 2025. Both games are available on mobile devices.
In a world in which most big titles make it to lots of platforms, the PC has become a haven for indie projects to shine before they get the resources to spread further. That shows in this year's PC Game of the Year finalists!
These awards represent the consensus of the Siliconera staff. Multiplatform games are considered on the platform for which they received the most staff support. For more of the year's award selections, check out our Game of the Year 2024 archive.
1000xResist
If your game is so exclusively narrative-focused that there's not much else, that puts a heck of a lot of pressure on that narrative. But hey, pressure makes diamonds! It's hard to put 1000xResist down, as it captures your attention and won't let go until its story is fully told. (See Jenni's full review of the game for more on what makes the game so special.)
Crow Country
Snipperclips developer SFB Games' love letter to PS1-era survival horror, Crow Country shows both a profound knowledge and appreciation of those games and a desire to tell its own sort of story within those confines. It nails the look and feel, but it doesn't feel like a cheap imitation. Many recent indie homages have shown just how difficult it can be to thread that needle. (Check out Daniel's review.)
Winner: Balatro
There are some who scoff at the accolades Balatro has been earning. We're guessing most of those people just haven't played it! The game has joined the rarefied air once occupied by Tetris alone, games that you encounter and immediately realize you'll be playing for the rest of your life. Congratulations, Balatro! You're the 2024 Siliconera PC Game of the Year!

Infolens will release Silent Hill related goods within Japan that looks like tourist goods you might buy in the real-life town. They'll be available from the Infolens Geek Shop in Ikebukuro, or the online store. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
Here are the Silent Hill goods and their prices:
Desk mat and coaster set: 4950 JPY
Red Pyramid Thing coin (with serial number): 2970 JPY
Replica coins: 7700 JPY (for a set of three)
Robbie the Rabbit badge (with serial number): 2530 JPY
Seal of Metatron: 4950 JPY

The desk mat and coaster resembles the Welcome to Silent Hill sign. Meanwhile, the Red Pyramid Thing coin and the Robbie the Rabbit badge are re-releases of previous items. The replica coins come in a wooden box that makes them look like legitimate collector's coins, too. It seems these coins are replicas of the puzzle from the second game, and they come with a rhyme inside of the box as well.
Silent Hill is a horror franchise that mostly takes place in the titular town of Silent Hill, which is full of supernatural occurrences due in part to the activities of a cult that made its home there. It's been a popular franchise since it came out in the late 1990s, and the remake of the second game achieved over a million worldwide sales in less than a month. There's also an ARG website that looks like a legitimate tourist page for the town, full of information about the town's rather sordid history and unassuming present.
Silent Hill 2 Remake is readily available on the PS5 and Windows PC.
