Destiny 2 Warmind Cells could get a rework in season 19

Destiny 2 Warmind Cells could get a rework in season 19, given recent hints pointing to the re-emergence of Rasputin in the upcoming season of the popular FPS game.

After the recent Destiny 2 Eliksni Quarter event, astute players noted that the frames of the robot workers in the area carried the Warmind symbol. This Destiny 2 Rasputin tease led players to speculate about the possibility of a forthcoming Rasputin-based season. Further, back in October, a Twitter account covering Destiny 2 leaks also suggested the season would be Rasputin-themed.

Warhammer 40k Darktide review in progress – Chaos-touched

Our full Warhammer 40k Darktide review will have to wait until we've had more time with the latest build (or until the Omnissiah wills it), but I've seen a lot of the horde shooter these past two weeks through the pre-launch beta. I've been purging daemonic growths from smelter facilities, hijacking ammunition shipments, and summarily executing arch-heretics in abandoned underground train stations. Nonetheless, developer Fatshark has insisted that we not use this build as the basis for scored reviews, so to be clear: my impressions so far are based on an incomplete beta build of Darktide.

Normally, such a disclaimer might be a red flag, but by all appearances Fatshark has simply been doing exactly what it claimed to be doing and using the pre-launch beta to stress-test its multiplayer infrastructure, identify bugs, and gradually roll out more content for its latest co-op game. On which note, it's important to say right upfront that I've had a rough ride on the technical end of things.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Toy Story update release date

The Disney Dreamlight Valley Toy Story update was announced in September alongside the addition of the Lion King update and new Scar quests. While the wicked lion king has already moved into his home in the Elephant Graveyard, we're still awaiting the delivery of Andy's favourite toys - but we do now have a release date. Arriving a little later thean expected, the Dreamlight Valley Toy Story update release date is December 6.

The Disney life sim already features lots of familiar faces, but we know there is room for "unlimited" expansions. The Dream Castle already houses around 30 unlocked doors, which will eventually lead to new realms. That said, you'd think these new updates would be coming thick and fast, with Scar added just six weeks after the original release date. The Toy Story update might be coming a little later than anticipated, but it is still the second major update in just three months, with a Beauty and the Beast update expected not long into the new year.

We've got something to suit nearly every taste and need, so read on if you're on the computer but don't have an internet connection, or travelling and need a game without demanding controls.      Pokémon games for PC – here are our favourite alternatives

Can you play the classic Pokémon games on PC? Err, probably, but we wouldn't know anything about illegal activities like that. What you want instead are some excellent, legal alternatives. Nintendo's world-changing Pokémon series is celebrating 25 years of monster-catching, and we PC players certainly deserve a slice of that battle-flavoured pie. Let's face it: who doesn't enjoy a spell of kidnapping cute animals and forcing them to scrap, tooth and claw, now and again? Exactly.

Despite our beloved format being the spiritual home of turn-based combat that RPG games are known for, no official main series Pokémon game has yet made the jump to PC. We can't exactly blame Nintendo for wanting to sell more Switch consoles, but we also can't help but feel a small pang of jealousy every time we catch a glimpse of anything yellow and electric out of the corner of our eyes, especially when we know a PC can run Pokémon Scarlet and Violet far better than Nintendo's ageing console.

While the original RPG game was made by CD Projekt Red using BioWare's Aurora Engine, The Witcher Remake is instead "being rebuilt from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5" by Fool's Theory. The Polish development studio is also aiding Larian with 'gameplay and tools programming support' for Baldur's Gate 3 and previously assisted People Can Fly with 'level design, meshing, and program support' for Outriders.      Best racing games 2022 for PC

What are the best racing games on PC? Whether mastering muddy tracks in Dirt Rally 2.0 or embracing Forza Horizon 5's magnificent Mexico, these are the best racers around.

Picking the very best racing games on PC is no easy task. So many elements contribute: the genre's not only about graphical fidelity and hair-raising sound design - though both certainly help - it's also about pulling you into the action as if you're there in the driver's seat, eyes strained as the asphalt whips past at 240kph. From honing your timing for a perfect gear shift to kicking out the back-end for a sublime drift, a quality racing game just feels right.

Don't go asking, "How could you forget about Grand Prix Legends! Where's Geoff Crammond?!" When versions of those games surface on Steam or GOG, we'll be the first in line to play them again… and inevitably find they haven't aged as well as we hoped. So for those of you who are just looking to hop in and fire up the engine of a superb racer, whether that's an intricate sim or an arcade thriller, we've got some breakneck PC racers for you.

Review: Lover Pretend Doesn't Need to Fake Anything Switch Otome game

Forbidden love is a popular topic when it comes to romantic stories. Star-crossed lovers, and what-not. Lover Pretend, the latest Otomate Switch otome game picked up by Aksys, banks its entire premise on the concept. What's the element that makes it all so scandalous? Almost all of your love interests could be your half-brother! Odds of Incidental incest aside, it's a surprisingly wholesome visual novel!

Lover Pretend follows a young woman named Chiyuki Ueda who dreams of becoming a script writer like her deceased mother. (You can change her first name.) Her mom was the writer for a very well-known and beloved romantic movie. That's also how she met Chiyuki's father. Now in college and with the son of the screenwriter of that film as her mentor, she gets an opportunity to work as his assistant on a new film. The best part? Many of the people who worked on her mother's movie are all working together on it. She'll get a chance to find out if people like the original writer, director, or producer could be her father. At the same time, she'll also get a chance to get close to people like the son of that film's lead actor and the son of that film's director and find love with them. However, because there is that connection, they could be her siblings.

Review: Lover Pretend Doesn't Need to Fake Anything Switch Otome game

Many of Otomate and Idea Factory's recent Switch otome games have a "gimmick" associated with them, and for Lover Pretend it is Pretend Time. This is a brief section in which you need to "convince" someone of something. There will be at least three questions in succession, though sometimes as many as six can come up. Your goal is to get a 100% complete, with a jigsaw-like aesthetic letting you know if your responses are getting close to that. (Getting a "Success" with the majority of the answers right tends to be just as good!) These can involve situations like tricking a waiter into believing you're a couple for a certain menu deal, evading a member of the paparazzi's questions, or even throwing a love interest off of your goal in working on the movie.

I enjoyed it more than I would have! While this does add a bit of pressure, since you're worrying about getting it "right," it can get you thinking about the right course of action. For example, some of the situations can rely on the idea that the best "like" includes a hint of "truth." Also, if you decide to reload after the segment is done, it will remember the choices you made. So there isn't as much danger in taking a chance.

Review: Lover Pretend Doesn't Need to Fake Anything Switch Otome game

Speaking of being surprised by the game, Lover Pretendshocked me when it came to how tactfully it handled certain topics. One route features a young woman who is a Gravure idol, which can have a negative connotation. However, both the heroine and Yukito treat her with respect. (The player's avatar even points out her positive traits.) There is also character referred to at the end of one route that is transgender, and I felt the game did a good job of using proper pronouns, referring to them by their name, and similarly showing them respect. Especially since the heroine — and by extension the player — doesn't get to know this person is transgender until the person connected with them gets their permission to tell her first.

This is also a game in which many of the love interests appealed to me in some way, which was another happy surprise. Since we're dealing with people who are either almost finished with their college career or established adults, it feels a little more mature. (Though certain characters don't always act their age.) Also, while it won't always be an accurate representation of the movie business or similar industries, it feels like it attempts to get certain concepts correct. It is intriguing to see a heroine in an industry she enjoys, with her goal being to do well and not just find out "Who's my daddy?"

Aksys

The only downside is if someone really does care about the mystery behind the heroine's father's identity, there's only one route that gets into it. As you might imagine, it is a locked one. So you'll need to get invested in a number of love interests and go through their stories before you get real answers. It means a lot of hours if you want to know it all. Which isn't bad! But it can be a lot, and I ultimately didn't care for the route that revealed it all as much as I did the other four.

Lover Pretend ended up being a real surprise, as I didn't expect to enjoy this Switch otome game as I did. It seemed like it could perhaps rely too heavily on its taboo theme. But it snuck up on me with its earnest nature. Not to mention the way it handles certain topics lent a level of respect I didn't expect from it. It's just a lovely little love story.

Lover Pretend will come to the Nintendo Switch on December 1, 2022.

Is It Worth Attending Classes in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Given that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet cast players as students at Naranja Academy and Uva Academy, with optional "classes" to attend. Given that someone is never actually forced to attend, you might wonder if you should even bother going. Well, even though there are no penalties for truancy, you can get free items and unlock the ability to see storylines with different teachers by going to school, taking midterms, and finishing courses.

Is Attending Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Classes Worth It

How Do Classes Work in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

When your school life begins in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the only classes you can take are Battle Studies with Dendra, Biology with Jacq, and Math with Tyme. Once you unlock the open world elements, you can take History with Raifort and Home Economics with Saguaro. After that, you need to go through some of the Victory Road storyline and get two badges to add Art with Hassel and Languages with Salvatore to the docket. From there, additional lessons unlock as you return to the academy, take courses, and progress the different storylines.

In a class, the teacher will typically ask a question. You do need to get these correct when taking a midterm or final exam to pass and get rewards. However, in standard classes you don't experience any negative effects for a wrong answer. In fact, in your first art class with Hassel, none of the answers are a "wrong" one. If you pass the midterm for the class, which involves refreshers of information already "learned," you'll get five Exp. Candy S to help level up your Pokemon. Passing the final gets you five Exp. Candy M.

Is Attending Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Classes Worth It

What Happens if You Complete Classes in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

After taking a someone's class in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, it often means you kicked off a brief side story involving them. When you go to explore the school, you may see an exclamation point next to a location where that person is located. If you scroll to it, you will then see ellipses suggesting that professor wants to talk to you. If you do, you can start forming a bond with that teacher. This can result in getting rewards like items, TMs, or even Pokemon. So for example, Hassel will give you 50 Dragon Tera Shards after completing his storyline or you'll receive a Galarian Meowth for taking the time to get to know Salvatore.

However, some teacher segments aren't tied to classes. For example, you can't finish Clavell's storyline until you complete Starfall Street, and Jacq won't dole out every reward until you register 400 Pokemon in your Pokedex. Meanwhile, Nurse Miriam's storyline advances as long as you continue on your journey and doesn't involve any classes.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available for the Nintendo Switch.

Two Point Campus Space Academy Dlc Release Date DecemberHey, remember that 1986 movie SpaceCamp? No? Well, it's probably for the best. But for those who have a desire to run a space camp of their own, Two Point Studios and Sega are prepared to launch. Two Point Campus: Space Academy, the first DLC for the game, will allow you to manage a space academy for students dreaming of becoming astronauts. But don't worry, you do actually end up breaking free of Earth's warm embrace at some point. Two Point Campus: Space Academy adds a ton of out-of-this-world content. You'll get three more campus locations to build and maintain, as well as six more student archetypes. It also comes with six space-themed courses and classrooms, such as the Command Room. The Battle Space exists to teach students the art of Star Trek-esque baton combat as well. It's hard to say if they'll fight dudes in awful lizard costumes, but extraterrestrials do apparently make an appearance in the DLC. What you may find the most interesting is ...

Sonic Frontiers Roadmap Rings Grind RailsAs immensely flawed and blatantly unfinished as it may be, Sonic Frontiers has plenty to like about it. Running around the open zones allows for plenty of improvisational gameplay opportunities, and certain moments, such as the climactic Super Sonic boss encounters, provide some of the biggest thrills the series has had in a while. Of course, the game has plenty of room to grow and improve. But given previous Sonic games' relative lack of post-launch support, it seemed safe to assume that Sonic Frontiers would only receive, at most, a few patches. However, it looks like this will finally change, as Sega just unveiled a content roadmap for Sonic Frontiers that will last throughout 2023. All of this planned content will come in three updates, with the first one containing a jukebox, photo mode, and a collection of unnamed challenge modes. Judging by the images shown, it seems that at least one of these new challenge modes will allow players to fight the Super Sonic bosses ag...

PS4 Controller PCWhen reaching for your controller to play on PC, the PS4 controller, also known as DualShock 4, isn't always the first one that comes to mind. However, it is a great controller with a solid feel in the hands of many. That makes it a perfect option when sitting down to relax with some PC games without the desire to use a mouse and keyboard for everything. Unfortunately, though, connecting the PS4 controller to your PC isn't as simple as that of an Xbox controller from Microsoft. Whereas an Xbox controller utilizes Xinput, the PS4 controller uses DirectInput drivers. That means there are a few extra steps to getting it working just right depending on what you are trying to play, making it feel a bit daunting or tedious for some. But it's really not as difficult as it may first seem. How to connect your PS4 controller to your PC Obviously, the first thing you'll want to do is connect the PS4 controller to your PC. For this, there are a couple different ways to do so. You can eithe...

Starfield Screenshot Systems Will Be LeveledAn open world that's split up into separately leveled sections is not unusual for an RPG. Some games tell you the level requirements for an area outright, while some are a bit more vague. And Bethesda Game Studio's titles usually fall into the latter. However, it looks like the many systems in Starfield will be leveled, which is atypical of the developer's other games. As spotted by GamesRadar, Todd Howard appeared on Lex Fridman's podcast to discuss many things besides Starfield. These topics ranged from discussion about Bethesda Game Studio's earlier titles, as well as some of the funny quirks that appear throughout its games. But the topic of Starfield is undoubtedly one of the more intriguing sections. And it's here that Todd Howard confirmed that the systems in Starfield would be leveled. Howard goes on to say that "us being able to at least control the scale is how we ended up with the hundred-ish systems we have." Players can avoid...

Shoot House Map Mw2 / Travis-Rilea mw2Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been an astounding success since it was released just a few weeks ago. It's generally expected that a new Call of Duty game will sell well and garner a huge player base, but even by the series standards, MW2 has proven exceptionally popular. That popularity is in spite of the fact that the game has suffered from a variety of issues that developer Infinity Ward has been trying to fix. One of these Modern Warfare 2 issues is the Travis-Rilea error. The Travis-Rilea error in Modern Warfare 2 refers to when there has been a network connection failure caused by game server outages, server maintenance, or your own internet connection. Here are some ideas you can try to fix it. Fixing the Travis-Rilea error in Modern Warfare 2 The Travis-Rilea error displays a message that reads: "Connection Failed: Timed out while signing in to online platform (Reason: Travis-Rilea)." The first step towards solving this is checking the status of the MW2 servers by lo...
