PCGamesN Thursday, June 5, 2025 7:03 PM It isn't a huge surprise that Dune Awakening has attracted so much attention. The Dune sci-fi universe, originating in Frank Herbert's novels and recently given new attention thanks to a pair of acclaimed movies, has always been compelling, regardless of medium. It's also proved a good fit for videogames, having inspired groundbreaking RTS games like Dune 2 and newer strategy projects like Dune: Spice Wars. Naturally, then, a sprawling MMO version of Dune, with survival design reminiscent of Valheim, No Man's Sky, or DayZ, wouldn't have a had time finding an audience. And that certainly seems to be the case with Dune Awakening, which doesn't officially launch until next week but has already attracted an enormous player base on Steam in 'Advanced Access.' PCGamesN Thursday, June 5, 2025 3:06 PM One of the most welcome aspects of the retro FPS revival is its focus on incredibly fast player movement. Games like Ultrakill and Mullet Madjack feature characters who whip across the screen like fastballs while throwback projects like Doom The Dark Ages, Doom Eternal, or Echo Point Nova add to their sense of speed with additional, parkour-inspired movements. The recently announced Gunstoppable is another game in this vein that, somehow, looks to amp up the pace, acrobatics, and freneticism of the throwback shooter even further. |
PCGamesN Thursday, June 5, 2025 2:22 PM Borderlands 2 stands out from the rest of the series and its spin-offs. And, with Borderlands 4 fast approaching as the latest entry to the series, it remains a great option for anyone curious to see why Gearbox's take on the post-apocalyptic genre became so popular in the first place. It's also, luckily, completely free on Steam right now for a limited time. MORE FROM PCGAMESN: Borderlands 3 |
Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Thursday, June 5, 2025 5:55 PM ![]() Back in 2023, Nintendo held one of those Direct thingies it likes to do, and as it often does the Japanese version of the stream had some games the western one didn't. In particular, there was one game that drew my attention: Stray Children. It caught my eye in part because it has a really unique pixel art look to it, but also because Yoshiro Kimura was its director, one of the original designers of cult-classic Moon: Remix RPG Adventure. Building up your player character's relationships with various companions, like in games like the Persona series for example. Following the Digimon Story: Time Stranger release date reveal in the June 2025 State of Play, Bandai Namco confirmed it will sell a Collector's Edition through its storefront. This will be the only way to get the $199.99 limited edition of the game, with PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC versions available. These include everything in the Ultimate Edition of the game, alongside a Jupitermon figure.
This basically means the Digimon Story: Time Stranger Collector's Edition includes more physical bonuses compared to the $69.99 standard, $99.99 Digital Deluxe, and $119.99 Ultimate Edition. The exclusive items are the almost six inch tall figure of Jupitermon, four Digimon Card Game cards with art inspired by the game, and the 100-page The Art of Digimon Story: Time Stranger art book. A physical copy of the game is also included in the PS5 and Xbox Series X bundles, though the PC one only comes with a Steam code.
As for the other items, it involves additions included in the other versions of the game. If someone gets the Digital Deluxe release, that comes with a Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth costume pack. It also has the Ultimate Edition's Season Pass with three episodes and 15 more Digimon, the Farm Item Golden Moai, Cyber Sleuth BGM DLC, Public Safety Suit and Special Supplies DLC, a costume pack with 12 more costumes, and an early unlock for special versions of Agumon and Gabumon.
Here's an image showing everything in the Digimon Story: Time Stranger Collector's Edition. That also shows the pre-order bonus that comes if someone orders it ahead of launch.

Kotobukiya announced it is going to sell the Mega Man 11 model kit again, with the set letting people build the figure based on Mega Man's appearance in that installment, again next year. The official product page is already live ahead of its January 2026 debut. It will cost 8,580円 (~59) in Japan. A worldwide release will follow. This comes after the company shared new kits in 2024.
We saw the kit first debut in 2023. This version is quite similar. There are four face plates that involve different expressions. You can display him with his helmet on or off. Multiple hand parts are included, with one being his buster. There are also effects that make it look as though the character is performing a charge shot.
The official Kotobukiya US storefront isn't showing this new rerelease yet. The original model kit from December 2023 is still up there. The price for it is $69.99. Big Bad Toy Store shared a listing for the rerelease, and it is selling it for $75.99. That product page noted a March 2026 launch window for the US.
Here's a full gallery showing how the Mega Man 11 figure looks once fully assembled.

Bandai Namco updated its Dragon Ball Project: Multi 4v4 free-to-play MOBA, giving it the name Dragon Ball: Gekishin Squadra, revealing platforms, and confirming a June 2025 Network Test. It did let folks know that they may need to look up a version with "Exhibition Match" in the title to find it. Tenna's game show is a wild ride in Deltarune Chapter 3. While it's mostly listening to Tenna show off his showtime personality, you'll spend a good chunk of time playing his minigames and even answering some quiz questions.
While some questions are simple, others are very difficult to remember, especially if you've been speedrunning the game's dialogue or haven't played earlier chapters recently. Let's take a look at every quiz answer in Deltarune Chapter 3.
All Deltarune Chapter 3 quiz answers
Below is a complete list of every quiz question and answer you'll encounter in Deltarune Chapter 3's first Tenna game show round:
During the first round of the game show, you'll encounter nine quiz questions across three instances. The first two sets reward you with Qs you use to fix a sphinx, who'll give you one final set before clearing away some nearby trees. You'll need this path to obtain one of the round's keys. Fortunately, you'll get this interaction regardless of how many answers you get correct.
What do correct quiz answers do in Deltarune?
Answering every quiz question correctly is the key to maximizing your points and earning an S-rank in each of Tenna's game show rounds. The points vary depending on whether you, Susie, and Ralsei get the same answers each round. Here's the point breakdown, depending on how many questions you answer correctly:
![]()
The exception to this is if you initially pick an answer and then swap it at the last second. Susie and Ralsei won't be able to swap their answers in time, resulting in each of you having different responses that impact your score. For example, if you only get one question right but they manage to guess an extra one correctly, you can end up with 25 bonus points instead of 0.
Getting S-rank scores during Chapter 3 is difficult. In many cases, these points can be the difference between landing an A-rank and getting a bump up to S. Reaching S-rank scores each round gives you access to a special backroom after your first round's over, setting you up to pursue Deltarune Chapter 3's secret boss. Since Susie and Ralsei will usually follow your lead, you'll need to make sure you answer quickly so they have time to respond before the timer ends.

Dune Awakening's early access is live, and developers Funcom is offering a Twitch drops program for players ahead of the game's full launch.
The Twitch Drops campaign begins on June 5 and will continue for much of the month. However, you'll have to complete a few additional steps to become eligible for the rewards.
Table of contents
All Dune Awakening Twitch Drops rewards
The first-ever Twitch Drops campaign has three unique rewards. All players can obtain the items (it doesn't matter if you have early access). Here's the complete list of all the available rewards.
The three items combine and form the CHOAM Observer building, which is pretty unique as the parts are unavailable in the game from the start. Here's what you need to do to unlock the items.
All you have to do is watch Dune Awakening streams for the required duration across any partner channels, and you'll be eligible for the rewards. The duration doesn't have to be achieved in a single, uninterrupted session, so you can take your time. You'll also have to complete an additional step before the items appear in your in-game inventory.
The Twitch Drops campaign will go live on June 5, and it will continue until June 24.
How to get the Twitch Drops rewards in Dune Awakening
Before you start watching the streams, ensure your account is enabled with Twitch Drops, which can be done by completing the following steps.
Once done, just watch the streams of a partnered content creator for the required amount of time, and the items will prop up in your in-game inventory.

Welcome to the world of 4K, Nintendo! The Nintendo Switch 2 has arrived and it's brought 4K visuals with it for applicable titles.
Games like Mario Kart World are capable of displaying at 4K resolution on TVs and monitors that are 4K capable, but you may need to tweak some settings to get the game and console running at the highest resolution possible so you can enjoy all of the graphical magic in its glory.
Here's how to change your Switch 2's resolution to get the most out of the 4K console.
How to change display resolution on Switch 2
![]()
From the Home menu, select System Settings and then scroll down to Display. Scroll down to TV, and then select TV Resolution to select the resolution display options for your Switch 2 when it's docked and displaying on your monitor or TV.
The Switch 2 is capable of displaying in 720p, 1080p, 1440p, and 2160p (4K). Even if you select a higher resolution, however, your TV may not be displaying it correctly. Make sure that your display is 4K capable, you have a 4K-capable HDMI cable (the Switch 2 comes with one), and that you have 4K selected in the settings.
Also, double-check the HDMI ports on your display. Some TVs and monitors have multiple HDMI ports, but not all of them support settings like 4K resolution or 120hz, so be sure that you have the Switch 2's HDMI cable hooked up to the correct port, or some resolutions and frame rates won't be possible.
If you're not sure about what your TV's settings are or what it's capable of, set the setting to Automatic and the Switch 2 will automatically apply the highest resolution it can. Unfortunately, 4K gaming requires a 4K display, device, and cable to work.
![]()
The Switch 2 is a customizable console because it even lets you remap buttons on the JoyCons. And don't worry, transferring all of your data from Switch 1 to your Switch 2 is a breeze as well.

Granite and Copper are two of the earliest resources you can come across in Dune Awakening, and you'll need them in large quantities as you unlock new recipes and technology.
These two items are required to craft a lot of different items that are available in the game. While the game doesn't formally introduce you to either, you can mine both in large quantities with the right tool. While the two resources don't have exact spawn spots on the map, they're not that hard to miss.
Table of contents
How to get Granite in Dune Awakening
The core process of collecting Granite and Copper is practically the same. Your first task is to retrieve the Power Cutter tool that is part of the initial quests. You can use your right mouse button to scan an item and use the Left Mouse Button to fire the Cutter in Dune Awakening.
![]()
Granite lodes are typically brick-like in color and found in sandy areas. Look for arches to find the deposits. You can pick up singular pieces from the ground (as shown in the screenshot above). As an alternative, fire up the Cutter tool at the deposit, and it will keep adding the ore to your inventory.
How to get Copper in Dune Awakening
![]()
You can get Copper the same way as you get Granite. You don't need any additional tools to mine it (apart from the Cutter), and you can also pick isolated bits of it straight from the ground. Unlike Granite, Copper is easy to spot, as the deposits have a strange bluish strain on them. To mine the ore, fire your Cutter at it until the ore disintegrates completely.
How to use Granite and Copper in Dune Awakening
Granite is one of the most commonly used construction materials in the game. You can build many different items using it. I recommend having as much Granite as possible, especially if you plan to expand your base.
Copper, on the other hand, can't be used directly. Instead, you'll have to use them in an Ore Refinery and turn them into Copper Ingots. The Ingots are used in different items from the technology branch, which makes Copper pretty precious.

Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4 are a wild ride. By now, you've likely completed Chapter 3 and maybe even experienced its secret ending. Now, we're on to Chapter 4, and oh boy, there's a lot of ground to cover here.
Fortunately, you won't need to worry about ranking high in goofy minigames or beating impossible top-down dungeon crawlers to find this ending. Instead, we're going on a scavenger hunt for special musical symbols.
There are major spoilers for Deltarune Chapter 4 below. If you haven't played through the chapter yet, proceed with caution!
How to find Deltarune Chapter 4's secret boss
Finding Deltarune's Chapter 4 secret ending and boss requires entering the Dark Sanctuary after the chapter's introduction and finding a Golden Piano. You'll need climbing gear to access this piano and its answers, requiring you to progress through the story until you unlock this tool. Once you have the climbing gear, you'll need to explore the Dark Sanctuary and search for the Golden Piano's music sequence to meet the secret boss.
How to solve Deltarune Chapter 4's Golden Piano puzzle
![]()
Solving the Golden Piano's puzzle requires finding three sets of musical symbols. They'll appear as sets of arrows, much like the ones you located for other pianos. You can find these arrows in the following locations:
Entering each area and lighting up your surroundings will reveal arrows you play during the Golden Piano's puzzle. Finding all three of these music sets will give you the exact solution to the Golden Piano's puzzle, letting you uncover a key item that'll lead you directly to the secret boss.
First Golden Piano answer location
Here's a complete step-by-step guide to finding the first set of Golden Piano arrows:
![]()
Second Golden Piano answer location
Here are step-by-step directions to finding the next set of Golden Piano arrows:
![]()
Third Golden Piano answer location
Last but not least, you'll find the first sequence inside the Old Man's library. As you return to his study, head into the library's left side, going down the west path once you're in the narrow bookshelf room. You'll find a massive waterfall here, with a hidden entrance behind it.
Entering this area will lead you down another pitch-black maze, with blue pulsing light helping you navigate the dark. As you approach a wall with a yellow light, activate it to enter another region, repeating the process until you find your final Golden Piano clue.
![]()
Deltarune Chapter 4 secret boss location
With all three answers out of the way, you now have the full Golden Piano sequence you can use to discover Deltarune's Chapter 4 secret ending and boss. Here's its written version to make things easier to follow:
"Up, dot, up, left, down, dot, right, dot, right, down, left, dot."
Once you solve the Golden Piano's puzzle, you'll watch a doorway appear behind the Old Man. Head back down the bookshelves and traverse through the library until you arrive in the study room. Entering this room will reveal a magical axe that Susie quickly attempts to take, only to realize she can't grab it just yet.
After a series of bizarre interactions, she, alone, will enter the secret boss fight. Beating the boss will reward you with the Justice Axe for Susie and another Shadow Crystal. For the sake of avoiding some spoilers, I'll let you see for yourself what this fight entails.

Our first real look at Wicked: For Good dropped on June 4, and the trailer is packed with plenty of small Easter eggs and teasers. There are lots of blink and you'll miss them moments, so if you're eager to venture back into the magical world of Oz, you may want to know about them.
We still have quite a way to go before the movie releases on November 21, so the trailer is all we've got to keep us busy until then. If you want to ensure you caught all the teasers sprinkled throughout it, here are 10 details you may have missed in the Wicked: For Good trailer.
Spoiler warning: There are some spoilers for Wicked: For Good ahead based on the Broadway and book versions of Wicked, as many hints that appear in the trailer foreshadow what's to come.
Best Easter eggs from the Wicked: For Good trailer
10. Matching skies
![]()
![]()
At around 0:53 in the trailer, Glinda and the residents of Munchkinland look up in horror as Elphaba draws the message "Our Wizard lies" in the sky. She seems to enjoy using this method of communication, as she does the same thing in The Wizard of Oz.
While Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Cowardly Lion, and the Tin Man are in Oz during The Wizard of Oz, Elphaba paints the message "Surrender Dorothy" in the sky. The use of another sky message in Wicked: For Good is a fun callback to this moment.
9. Madame Morrible's storm
![]()
Madame Morrible is cooking up a massive storm, and it's the very same storm that lands Dorothy in Oz during the events of The Wizard of Oz. You can spot her using her weather magic, which she showed off frequently during the first Wicked, to brew a massive tornado that ultimately picks up Dorothy from Kansas at around 0:36 in the trailer. The storm is also Sepia colored, just like it is in The Wizard of Oz.
8. Fiyero's uniform
![]()
We're entering big spoiler territory with this one, so if you don't want one of the bigger plot twists spoiled, you may want to skip to the next one. Now that you've been warned, let's get into it.
The Wicked: For Good trailer subtly teases Fiyero's transformation into the Scarecrow. He's got a striking green and gold uniform on throughout it, and this same uniform can be spotted on the Scarecrow when Dorothy and the group are meeting with the Wizard. The wedding outfit variant of the uniform shown at 1:32 also features some embroidery with small pieces of wheat, similar to one of the shirts he wore in Wicked.
7. Glinda joins Wonderful
![]()
"Wonderful" is the song sung by the Wizard and Elphaba as he tries to get her back on his side during the Broadway adaptation, and a few glimpses of this scene are featured in the trailer. The duo is surprisingly joined by Glinda, which is an intriguing change that differs from the usual performance of this song. This is a fitting change, though, as it makes a lot more sense that Elphaba would be willing to hear the Wizard out if Glinda, the person she trusts most, is there too.
6. Off to see the Wizard
![]()
At 2:36, Elphaba says, "I'm off to see the Wizard," another fun nod to The Wizard of Oz. Dorothy and her friends sing a song called "We're Off to See the Wizard" in the other film, which is what's referenced here.
5. Possible Glinda magic
![]()
Glinda doesn't have a whole lot of magical abilities, and is never shown really harnessing much power and prowess outside of her wand and bubble, but there's an intriguing scene that might mean Wicked: For Good will change this. Starting at 1:41, Elphaba and Glinda float around a pink, magical, starry room.
It's not a scene I can place from the books or the Broadway show, so whatever is going on here seems to be a new addition. Since it's all pink and stars, it screams Glinda to me, and I'm curious if we might get to see her actually harness magic.
4. Glinda's dress
![]()
In the first Wicked, pink was the main color we saw Glinda in. Some of her outfits had slight accents of other colors, like her Ozdust dress with hints of orange or her first-day uniform with some light blue, but pink was her primary palette for the majority of the film.
Wicked: For Good is giving her a fresh style with a stunning gown that's primarily blue with some slight pink accents. This dress seems like a nod to the one worn by Glinda in the Broadway version of the show, as her dress on stage is always bright blue.
3. Flashbacks
![]()
There are several scenes throughout that clearly happened in the past, but we didn't get to see them in the first part of Wicked, so the trailer hints at plenty of flashback moments. One such moment is Glinda and Elphaba relaxing in a field together back when they were at Shiz.
2. Elphaba's new song
![]()
While Glinda is spinning around at around 0:14, Elphaba sings a note that's not in any of the known songs featured in the Broadway version of Wicked. She could just be adding on to one of the existing songs, but since director John. M Chu confirmed Elphaba and Glinda both have new songs, we just may have heard a hint of one of them here.
1. Glinda and Fiyero's wedding
![]()
There's no wedding between Glinda and Fiyero in the Wicked book or Broadway play, but it seems to be a big part of Wicked: For Good. You can spot Glinda walking down the aisle to Fiyero at 1:30. It'll be interesting to see whether they actually get married, considering Fiyero is actually in love with Elphaba and (spoiler warning) the pair ultimately ends up together in the Broadway version of Wicked.
