     Fallout New Vegas mod overhauls the aging movement and FPS mechanics

Fallout: New Vegas is one of the most popular games of all time. Naturally, the PC version has spawned thousands of useful mods that improve the game's slightly outdated shooter mechanics.      Steam's most chaotic co-op game is less than the price of a meal

Overcooked 2 is both the most powerful and dangerous co-op game of all time. Anyone who has played either of the Overcooked games has had this experience before: You've sat with a friend to whip up some delicious meals as fast as possible, and before you even realize it, you're in a full-on screaming match about not overcooking the meat, laughing your tail off like a maniac all along the way. For those who haven't had that experience, boy have I got the sale of a lifetime for you.

     Remembering the Nvidia GeForce 256 – the first PC gaming GPU

It's testament to the Nvidia marketing team that one of its buzzwords has now slipped into common parlance. Not only did the 1st-gen Nvidia GeForce 256 introduce us to its now famous GeForce gaming graphics brand, but it also brought the term 'GPU' to the gaming PC with it.

An initialism that we now use as shorthand for any PC graphics chip, or even one of the best graphics cards, started life on the PC as an Nvidia marketing slogan. To give you an idea of how long ago this was, I was introduced to the term "GPU" by a paper press release the same week I started my first tech journalism job in September 1999.

     League of Legends dev admits Galio is still weak even after rework

League of Legends has done right by many of the game's older champions by updating them via mini-reworks. These reworks update champions who were released many moons ago by changing ratios on their spells and altering their passive abilities to try and help them have more of a role in the game's ever-evolving meta. In the case of the colossus, Galio's mini-rework in patch 14.6 was supposed to beef up his strength in the mid-lane, but now that the patch has been live for over a week, it's clear those efforts have failed.

     This official Palworld dating sim is the stuff of nightmares

Pocketpair has unveiled a Palworld dating sim just in time for April Fool's Day, with a tentative release date of April 1, 2025. The official trailer for the visual novel shows Katress, Chillet, Lovander, Zoe, and the Black Marketeer as dateable characters, and while the actual game is very much not real, I hate to admit that the trailer itself is.

     Beloved, 97% rated Steam management game getting big QoL upgrades

After an early access launch and a full release to Steam in 2020, the automation resource management sim Factorio is still going incredibly strong. Even after all this time the team at Wube Software is teasing big quality-of-life improvements for the game, with changes to the Spidertron remote, the ability to pipette more things, and better blueprint grid adjustment at the top of the list for one of the best automation games on Steam.

Parcel Corps is what happens when Uber Eats and Jet Set Radio get mashed together into their own, vibrant indie game. You're skidding, grinding, and doing tricks on a free-flowing bicycle across a colorful cityscape while trying to carve out the biggest piece of the pie for your bicycle courier business. You've just got the competition and the newly arrived crude oil CEO Rich Villainé to contend with, that's all. After the incredibly slick gameplay and style of Parcel Corps caught our eye, we decided to go hands-on and interview some of the team from Billy Goat Entertainment while at GDC in San Francisco.
