How to unlock Havik in Mortal Kombat 1

How do you unlock Havik in Mortal Kombat 1? As one of the more surprising returning characters from past Mortal Kombat games, Havik first appeared in Mortal Kombat Deception and mostly plays a minor part in this game's story mode. His unique fighting style sees him use his various body parts as weapons to bludgeon his enemies to death.

So, if you want to unlock Havik in Mortal Kombat 1 and use him to fight against the rest of the Mortal Kombat 1 characters, then we have the answer. Of course, Havik isn't the only character locked behind conditions in the latest MK fighting game, as several Mortal Kombat 1 Kameo characters require you to unlock them first. For now, though, here is how you can unlock Havik in MK1 and complete the main roster.

Mortal Kombat 1 brutalities – how to unlock and perform

How do you unlock and perform Mortal Kombat 1 brutalities? In the Mortal Kombat series, it's not enough for you to defeat your opponent, you have to go above and beyond to ensure your opponent knows you've destroyed them. Sure, you could simply jab them to death, but that wouldn't be much fun, would it?

Unlike Mortal Kombat 1 fatalities, which give players a huge window to activate an elaborate animation, brutalities need to be considered before you can perform them. Unfortunately, what makes brutalities much more appealing in Mortal Kombat 1 is that you still need to conform to specific conditions like in MK11. But so long as you know which move you need to end the game with, you should be able to blast your opponent in style. Here's what you need to know about Mortal Kombat 1 brutalities.

Series creator outlines vision for the dream Fallout remake

Fallout Remake. Personally, I think this might be the most potent combination of words in videogaming. The influence of the Interplay RPG game from 1997 is hard to overstate. Now, with rumors swirling about Fallout 3 Remastered, the creator of the original apocalyptic adventure outlines a personal vision for a hypothetical Fallout remake. When was the AC Valhalla Siege of Paris release date? Your Viking saga continues as you go up against Charles the Fat in a resistance against the Carolingian Empire. The biggest invasion of France in Viking history, this battle took place in real life in the 9th century, and thousands of Vikings besieged Paris for months on end. While Norse raiders were unable to break down the walls and were eventually encouraged by Emperor Charles the Fat to move along to Burgundy, what happens in Valhalla's version of events is up to you.

Described by Karen Lee, senior community developer at Ubisoft Montreal, as "the most ambitious battle in Viking history," Siege of Paris takes you and your Assassin's Creed Valhalla protagonist Eivor to the titular French city following our adventures in the Emerald Isle in the Wrath of the Druids DLC. Here's everything you need to know about the AC Valhalla Siege of Paris gameplay, missions, and more that came along with the DLC's 2021 release date.

Doom lives forever. From the superlative reboot published by Bethesda, to Doom Eternal, the greatest FPS game ever made remains a PC classic to this very day. Nevertheless, there's one entry in the series that has always divided even the most devout Doom fans. Doom 3, from 2004, exchanges the fast-paced, kill-chain style of its predecessors for something slower and more horror driven.      Tekken 8 roster – every confirmed and leaked character

September 19, 2023: Added entry for Feng Wei.

Which characters are in Tekken 8? Over the years, many fighters have participated in the King of Iron Fist Tournaments, but the latest installment sees the absence of one key face in particular. Heihatchi Mishima is officially dead, and now the world's fate is in the hands of those rising to face his demonic son, Kazuya. Some directly oppose him, whereas others fight for their own ambitions.

Most of the characters in the Tekken 8 roster so far revealed are returning characters, and we've had enough time with some of them that we've got a Tekken 8 tier list that shows how good they are during the early stages of development. Some fighters have been with the fighting game series since the beginning, whereas others are more recent inclusions, and one character is even making a long-awaited comeback in Tekken 8. With 25 characters officially revealed and a recent potential leak showing a couple more, while we wait for the Tekken 8 release date, here is everything we know about the roster so far.

According to leaked documents, Microsoft are/were remastering Oblivion and Fallout 3. This is boring. The past decade of innumerable remasters has been boring enough, but remastering these two games is particularly boring. When even bother when all Bethesda have made since Oblivion is Oblivion remakes with added spacesuits or yelling? Boring. After a draining day's reportage upon the thoroughly alien doings of vast corporate publishers, I like nothing better than to flee, blabbing and weeping, into the arms of a micro-RPG. Scumhead's Franzen - released a few days ago on Steam and Itch - has a couple of big draws, straight off the bat. Firstly and least importantly, it's free, which it really shouldn't be. Secondly and more significantly, it's one of those rare RPG miniatures that is both richly imagined and snappy, with a busy and befuddling world in which you have immediate clear motivations that escalate rapidly and breed Dire Implications. It also looks like a 16-bit Pathologic, so consider me firmly on board.

At first glance, Lies Of P looks like a wannabe Bloodborne reskin, replacing the Gothic edges of Yarnham with a twisted version of a kid's fairytale. There are silhouettes in windows sheltering from an infection that's plagued the populace and puppets who've gone awol. Take damage and you've got a chance to recoup the costs by smacking the baddie back. There's a bit where you platform down a large well, thin planks of wood marking your descent. Survive and you might want to visit your doll-like maiden and spend your souls.

But is Lies Of P just another boring pretender to Bloodborne? No! I think it's worked with its Gothic Pinocchio theme remarkably well, and the option to snap and configure your puppet lad to your liking makes its journey feel distinct. Sure, Lies Of P might lack some of the presence of its main inspiration, and not all of its parts come together to form a cohesive whole, but the game is an undeniable must for Soulslikers who crave the dark. It's perhaps the closest any Soulslike has felt to a FromSoft game, in everything from its presentation to the cadence of your character's jog.

I dunno if you've heard of this game Starfield, but there's a lot of talk about it at the moment. It is a roleplaying experience where the role you play is not "Viking-ish warrior who can shout with the power of a million metal frontmen" or "wasteland wanderer downing cans of irradiated coke" but "person in space following a broadly unexciting A-plot". Much of the most interesting stuff in Starfield is on the periphery of the main story, as is the case with most Bethesda RPGs, but I find Starfield to be much less whimsical (something I won't relitigate here). As an RPG, Starfield is taking itself seriously, and sometimes this collides with the design game systems and menus.

An example of this is that you are supposed to experience the vastness of space, but cannot do so without going through a lot of loading screens. Another is that you have two sets of clothes: a spacesuit for places that are hostile and have no breathable atmosphere, and street clothes for planets that do. And NPCs keep making fun of me for wearing my spacesuit when I don't need to, and I hate them for it.

Overnight, in what Edwin called an "unredacted document oopsie" related to Microsoft trying to buy ActiBlizz, two things have been revealed that interest me. Well, three. Firstly, Phil Spencer capitalises "Gaming", which I hate. Secondly, as noted in that linked story, Phil Spencer wants to buy Nintendo and, in pitying also-ran brackets, Valve, which has some of the same energy as me walking into an estate agent and demanding a six bedroom house with a new fitted kitchen and a hidden library. And thirdly, according to a release schedule from a presentation dated 2020, Bethesda and Zenimax have planned out their next few years of games in depressing MCU presentation-style. Boy, are the next couple of years going to be whelming.

As is predictable now, it is largely a list of sequels and remasters, many of them dated quite optimistically, it must be said. This document pegs Starfield for 2021, for example, and obviously that didn't happen. There are also two unnamed games on there for this year (Projects Kestrel and Platinum; 2021's Project Hibiki we know refers to the surprise-released Hi-Fi Rush) and it seems unlikely they're going to appear before the end of the year. We know The Elder Scrolls 6 isn't coming for at least another five years. They're going to remaster Oblivion (but not Morrowind, the weird cousin everyone else likes most, but whose parents aren't sure what job to give them in 2023). And they're going to make Dishonored 3. I'm excited about that! But also fearful.

My Next Life as a Villainess Switch Otome Game Release Date Set

Idea Factory International announced the release date for My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom: Pirates of the Disturbance, the Switch otome game based on the novel, light novel, manga, and anime of the same name. It will be available both digitally and physically. There will also be a limited edition version available in North America and Europe, though there are no details about that collector's edition yet. The standard edition is already live on the IFI storefront.

As a reminder, My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom: Pirates of the Disturbance is a spin-off of the isekai anime, with the Switch otome game following Catarina and the cast on a "Fortune Lover" fan disc adventure. She continues to attempt to avoid a bad end as the "villain" of the game, while possibly finding love with the main love interests from the main game and fan disc side characters.

The My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom: Pirates of the Disturbance release date is November 28, 2023, and it will appear on the Nintendo Switch worldwide. The anime appears on Crunchyroll, the light novel is handled by J-Novel Club, and Seven Seas Entertainment takes care of the manga series and its spin-off.

Elder Scrolls VI

Recently released documents from the Microsoft-FTC trial revealed an internal expectation that the highly anticipated Elder Scrolls VI will release in 2026 or possibly later. The information was shared on social media by Axios reporter Stephen Totilo, who quoted Microsoft CEO Phil Spencer as clarifying that the game was five years out at the time and plans were not yet concrete.

The information comes in the form of a table and statement from Microsoft detailing the company's post-acquisition plans since 2018. The documents also show a lack of planned release on Playstation consoles made by rival Sony, although Spencer seemingly confirmed that back in 2021.

https://twitter.com/stephentotilo/status/1703760057551192205

The trial against Microsoft came about as a result of an injunction filed by the Federal Trade Commission in the US, attempting to block the acquisition of Activision-Blizzard due to concerns of anti-competitiveness. The injunction was denied and the lawsuit withdrawn back in July, though the acquisition is still being blocked by UK based Competition and Markets Authority.

The Elder Scrolls VI had its development announced back in 2018, during a presentation on the now-recently released Starfield. Microsoft has since announced plans for mod support for the game, which is also available on its Xbox Game Pass service.

The Elder Scrolls VI is does not yet have an official release date, but is expected to release on PC and Xbox in 2026 or later.

Persona 5 Tactica Has Sub-Personas and Velvet Room Weapon Fusion

Atlus announced new details about Persona 5 Tactica that go over what to expect from the game and its Personas and Velvet Room weapon fusion. When people go through the game, they'll be able to adjust the Phantom Thieves by equipping Sub-Personas to adjust abilities or turn additional Personas into equipment. There are also new screenshots showing enemies like Guarded Geisha, Slimy Shinobi, and Sumo-maton.

With the Sub-Persona, this is a way to increase the range of characters' abilities beyond normal Personas. Atlus noted that these aid a unit in multiple ways. When equipped, it increases their stats and also provides access to new active and passive skills.

As for spare Personas, those can be taken to the Velvet Room for fusions in Persona 5 Tactica. You can use these to make a new Persona or weapon. With the weapons, these will apparently be stronger than normal ones you buy.

Finally, Atlus noted how the difficulty level changes different gameplay elements. When you choose Hard, friendly fire is turned on. It also means enemies have more attack power and health.

Here's a closer look at the new Persona 5 Tactica screenshots.

Persona 5 Tactica will come to the Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC via Steam on November 17, 2023. There will be day one Repaint Your Heart DLC that adds Goro Akechi and Kasumi Yoshizawa.

HoYoVerse offered more insight into the Fu Xuan Honkai: Star Rail character banner and light cone event warp. Both begin on September 20, 2023. They'll run through October 10, 2023 until the 1.4 update for the game arrives.
