Redfall, a vampire shooter out this week on Xbox and PC, was developed by Arkane Studios, the same team behind classics like Dishonored and Prey. It's one of Microsoft's first-party exclusives for 2023, a big release for the company's Game Pass subscription service. And by most accounts, it sucks.

The best Stardew Valley mods 2023

Looking for the best Stardew Valley mods? The mod scene has been thriving on PC despite having no official Steam Workshop support. Dedicated modders have been working to alter almost everything available in the game, from adding game-breaking cheats like god mode to texture overhauls that turn Stardew Valley into a pixelated fairytale.

Despite thousands of daily concurrent players still enjoying the base indie game, Stardew Valley is getting on a bit, so we can't blame you for wanting to shake things up. Thankfully, and predictably, the modding community is here to help bring other IPs to the valley, along with new maps and even improvements to married life. We've compiled our favourite Stardew Valley mods that celebrate the creativity of the modding scene. Here are our top picks that provide visual overhauls, gameplay changes, and, yes, even some cheats, making one of the best PC games even better.

The best Valorant crosshairs and codes

Looking for Valorant crosshair codes to help your performance? Crosshair codes in the Riot Games FPS are more complex and customisable than ever, thanks to a recent update. With a complex-looking string of numbers, letters, and symbols, you can change your in-game sights to match players from your favourite esports teams such as DRX, Fnatic, or The Guard, or make your own entirely.

Many of the best PC games with pro teams like to come up with ways for FPS game players to show allegiance to their favourite players. For example, Rainbow Six Siege has charms and Valorant has gun buddies. Custom crosshairs take things to another level though, and can even help you achieve a similar level of accuracy as your favourite pros, too. Different colours or sizes can make your crosshair stand out more, potentially affecting your accuracy. We've collected codes for all of the big teams in one place, so you don't have to go hunting around too much in order to equip your favourite Valorant characters with your chosen sight.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Zombies remains, perhaps, the dumbest, funnest, and most colourful the Activision and Treyarch FPS game series has ever been.      Destiny 2 Nightfall weapons – What is the Nightfall weapon this week?

Want to know what this week's Destiny 2 Nightfall weapon is? Each week you've got a chance at a different weapon for completing Nightfall Strikes, and ever since Season of the Lost, fan-favourite legacy weapons from the original Destiny has been added to the rotation. New seasons often introduce new weapons into the rotation, so it's more important than ever to know in advance the Nightfall weapon schedule.

Nightfall: The Ordeal is a playlist available in the Vanguard menu, alongside the basic Strike playlist in the free PC game. Each week, a different Strike is chosen as the Nightfall, and offered in five escalating difficulties, with harder enemies, challenging modifiers, and enemy power levels cranking up. The coveted Nightfall weapons have a chance to drop from any Nightfall Strike difficulty, but it's far more likely at higher levels, which is something you'll want to maximise your chances for with the Destiny 2 Lightfall release date that recently passed. Your best bet for farming each week's Nightfall weapon is to set the Strike to Master difficulty, or to Grandmaster difficulty when such strikes are available if you have a fireteam up to the task.

Are you looking for Destiny 2 Lost Sector locations for today's daily Legend and Master Lost Sector? Before you can take on Legend Lost Sectors, you need to complete all the normal Lost Sectors first. If you don't, the new Legend Lost Sectors will not appear on the map. While many Exotics can be bought from Xûr or even in the world loot pool, the Destiny 2 Exotics in these special Lost Sector instances cannot, forcing players to explore these dangerous areas if they want the best equipment available. It's important to remember that exotic drops are not guaranteed after completing these quests, so you may have to run through the same Lost Sector multiple times. You can go through the quests in the free PC game with a fireteam, but your rewards will be reduced to Enhancement Cores only.

So far, I wouldn't say Redfall is a "mess". A mess, to me, implies an excess of things that become a horrible, overwhelming tangle. Having played the vampiric FPS for a clutch of hours now, I'd say it feels more like an "absence". Arkane's latest strikes me as an open world shooter with a few simple strands that never seem to go anywhere. Occasionally, there are flashes of a team that - as we all know - are capable of brilliance, but Redfall has me following a path of irritation, and feeling a slight sadness for what might've been.

Splatoon 3 Update Patch

Nintendo released a new update patch for Splatoon 3. It's not a huge update and mostly focused on a few fixes, along with a change to Splatfests. The patch is ready to be installed now.

The main purpose of this new Splatoon 3 update has been to add data related to upcoming Splatfests. However, there's an additional change, as Nintendo are changing the brightness and color choices for ink during Splatfests. There will also be changes to ink coloring for the Color Lock accessibility feature which will be added in the next patch.

Elsewhere, the new Splatoon 3 update focuses on a few bug fixes. A crash during a Special Wave of Salmon Run has been fixed. A bug that caused music and animation to desync during Splatfest Plaza performances has also been fixed. In addition, players will no longer lose changes to their locker if they're editing during a schedule transition.

The new update comes just before the latest Splatfest event. In celebration of the upcoming release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, it will be themed around the Triforce. Players can choose to be part of teams for power, wisdom or courage. The Splatfest takes place on 5-7 May, 2023.

Splatoon 3 is available now for Nintendo Switch.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom monster materials

Nintendo shared a new short clip of Link using monster materials in the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. In the new footage shared on the official The Legend of Zelda Japanese Twitter account, Link throws White Chuchu Jelly by itself on a new type of enemy, without using his new Fuse ability. White Chuchu Jelly instantly freezes enemies, leaving them open to attacks.

In the short clip, Link is shown scrolling through a list of materials that include some precious gems, different varieties of Chuchu jellies, and Keese eyes and wings. These were also shown in the latest 10-minute-long gameplay video released by Nintendo. The video also shows that Link can sort the materials in the list by different metrics, but only Fuse attack power has been shown so far. At the end of the clip, Link throws White Chuchu Jelly on a new type of enemy that looks similar to Bokoblins and Moblins, instantly freezing it.

Honkai: Star Rail's Trailblazer Avatar Is a Gremlin and It's Great Caelus Stelle

In HoYoVerse games, we've tended to see player protagonists and main characters who tend to be generally kind and polite people. Kiana Kaslana from Honkai Impact 3rd is an optimistic, kind, and dedicated. Likewise, both Aether and Lumine from Genshin Impact are always very pleasant and tend to be willing to go out of their way for people, teasing of Paimon aside, with most of the silent protagonists' lines being largely "good." Rosa, the main character in Tears of Themis, is also very smart, justice-driven, and willing to help. Meanwhile, the Honkai: Star Rail Trailblazer Stelle and Caelus avatar options can often be a sarcastic, pessimistic, lazy, self-serving, dumpster-diving gremlin. Simply put, it's refreshing to get the option to be more of a "well, I guess I'm here and will do it" person.

Part of it comes from their general appearances. Both the Caelus and Stelle Trailblazer options in Honkai: Star Rail are delightfully disheveled. Part of it could come from their origins. After all, Kafka woke them up by shoving a Stellaron into their body. Buckles are askew and unfastened. Their hair is messed up. Their eyes look sleepy. Their shirts are untucked. They look like they rolled out of bed and we should be thankful they are there and willing to help out. The outfit and design look great, to be clear, due to an "organized chaos" approach.

[caption id="attachment_961577" align="alignnone" width="1200"]Honkai: Star Rail's Trailblazer Avatar Is a Gremlin and It's Great Screenshot via Siliconera[/caption]

I also love how the Trailblaze Mission story quests and sidequests all often have at least one response that makes it seem like the Trailblazer is telling the other person it's basically an honor for them to be there. You can be lazy. You can be driven by money. You can be sarcastic. You can constantly try and pass off the job to someone else. It's like the Trailblazer is an exasperated 30 year old with so much on their to-do list who's been up since 5am without coffee and just needs a minute. Though, at the same time, it's equally wonderful to see them play along during missions involving Hook and other children, exemplifying that while lazy and snarky, they are also silly and not necessarily cruel.

Unless it comes to Sampo. I will always take the opportunity to have my Trailblazer Stelle blame or volunteer Sampo for something in Honkai: Star Rail, and HoYoVerse is constantly giving us that option. Her being a grudge-bearing goblin is my canon view of the character. By update 3.0, she'll be planets away and be telling the latest prominent NPC in need that someone named Sampo will be by in 2-4 weeks to accomplish their task.

[caption id="attachment_961578" align="alignnone" width="1200"]Honkai Star Rail Sampo Screenshot via Siliconera[/caption]

All of the text messages also provide the opportunity to witness this goblin in presumably their natural habitat. That is getting to be lazy somewhere else and avoid actual work and interactions, being snarky and silly with no one to "stop" them. Telling March 7th that a photo she sent is "bad" before she's even sent it could be seen as either sarcastic or silly. Telling Asta you have no interest in learning about "a rich mindset" is actually the optimal response in that message chain.

[caption id="attachment_961582" align="alignnone" width="1200"]Honkai: Star Rail Text message Screenshot via Siliconera[/caption]

Even incidental messages when interacting with the environment show that the goofy, greedy, lazy, and sarcastic versions of Caelus and Stelle in Honkai: Star Rail might be the "default" attitudes for the avatars. When removing the wanted posters from Belobog, the responses seem a bit silly. You know, they're being taken down for the good of the town, and not to evade arrest. Hiding inside of a hotel closet to terrify the person in charge of room service? That's absolutely gremlin behavior. Not to mention they are rooting around in every garbage can possible, getting an avatar icon to show they are a trash person (and actual trash for their inventory) as a result.

[caption id="attachment_961579" align="alignnone" width="1200"]Honkai: Star Rail's Trailblazer Avatar Is a Gremlin and It's Great Screenshot via Siliconera[/caption]

Perhaps the best thing of all is that a player can make their Honkai: Star Rail Caelus or Stelle avatar into this gremlin and know that their allies love and accept them as they are. Dan Heng and March 7th accept that the hero of this story will just root around in the trash and understand that's the life they chose. People will react positively to you being silly or sarcastic. Laziness will be even be joked about, in a way. It's treated as something of an endearing personality trait or running gag. I'm a big fan of it and hoep it continues throughout the game's lifespan.

Honkai: Star Rail is available for PCs and mobile devices, and PS4 and PS5 versions are in development.

The necklaces will come out in November 2023. They're also available in the Japan store for 16,280 JPY and the earring is 10,450 JPY. They all have a release date of September 16, 2023.

These are re-releases of items that we originally saw in 2020. The ribbon version has a loop above the actual tie part, which recreates how Aerith has her neck ribbon in FFVII. Meanwhile, the flower version of the Aerith necklace is silver and there is a chrysoprase gemstone in the middle that looks like Aerith's eyes. Since Tifa only wears one earring in FFVII: Advent Children, you will also only get one earring. There does not seem to be a discount if you want to purchase a set.

Other pieces of jewelry that Square Enix has released in the past for Final Fantasy VII include a bracelet. This one is less a recreation and more an item that incorporates her various motifs. For example, there is a golden lily charm that looks like the flowers in Aerith's church. This item is also available in the Square Enix shop for $127.99.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is readily available on the PS4 and PS5. Pre-orders are open for the re-release of the FFVII jewelry items. They'll come out in September 2023 for Japan and November 2023 for North America.

Genshin Impact pizza hut japan

The elite women of Liyue are going international, as Pizza Hut in Japan also started a collaboration with Genshin Impact. It is using the same key visuals of Yelan and Ningguang in modern-looking closing as the campaign in China. Boxes and bags with Yelan and Ningguang on them will be available from May 1, 2023 to June 18, 2023.

Aside from being able to get boxes with Yelan and Ningguang on them when you order the My Box set from Pizza Hut, you can also get a multipurpose file of either woman for 200 JPY (~$2) extra. These are available while supplies last. However, you cannot choose which one you get. The file is around 100 millimeters in width and 220 millimeters in height.

More importantly, you will be able to get four event items in Genshin Impact if you order the My Box set from Pizza Hut. You can get a crafting recipe for a table and a couch, as well as recipes for Mint Fruit Tea and Super Deluxe Pizza. Though regions outside of China never had a KFC campaign, all servers eventually received the KFC recipes for Golden Chicken Burger and Golden Fried Chicken. So it's possible that these two recipes will appear in a future event for other countries, though we haven't seen a HoYoVerse announcement about them yet.

Gran Turismo Movie Trailer

A trailer for the Gran Turismo movie appeared. In addition, Sony have published an interview with director Neill Blomkamp on the PlayStation Blog. It is expected to appear in theaters in August 2023.

The Gran Turismo movie is based on the real-life story of British racing driver Jann Mardenborough. It follows his career from playing Gran Turismo to becoming a driver for Nissan. It focuses heavily on the GT Academy competition, which Mardenborough won in 2011.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVPzGBvPrzw

The interview with Director Neill Blomkamp revealed further details about the film. He acknowledged that the movie is a departure from his previous projects such as District 9. Blomkamp also discussed his personal love of cars and how he had a lot of freedom to explore the Gran Turismo IP. He also offered insight into the visual choices he made for the movie to maintain the feel of the games.

The Gran Turismo film will star David Harbour (Stranger Things) and Orlando Bloom (The Lord of the Rings). Harbour plays a racing trainer, while Bloom plays a character based on Darren Cox, the Nissan UK executive who helped found the GT Academy competition. Mardenborough is played by Archie Madekwe. Hermen Hulst, head of Sony Worldwide Studios, and Kazunori Yamauchi, producer of the Gran Turismo games, act as executive producers.

The Gran Turismo movie releases in cinemas in August 2023. Gran Turismo 7 is available now for PS5 and PS4.

New Genshin Impact Baizhu Gameplay Shows How He Attacks and Protects

HoYoVerse shared a new Genshin Impact Baizhu gameplay trailer, with Yuri "Dainsleif" Lowenthal explaining how the character works. The doctor is essentially a Dendro healer who wields a catalyst. However, it also shows how the five-star's attacks and other supportive abilities can assist us while he's in the party.

The Genshin Impact Bailu gameplay trailer begins by explaining his Exploration Talent. When you gather some plants and items in the wild, your health will be restored due to Herbal Nourishment.

After that, it gets into his main kit. His Normal Attack deals Dendo damage, with the charged version going from single-target to AOE. It's with his Elemental Skill Universal Diagnosis that the healing element comes in. If no hostile forces are around, it will heal. However if enemies are nearby, it will attack and heal. His Holistic Revivification Elemental Burst generates a Seamless Seal that also heals while active. He also has a Five Fortunes Forever passive that will either make him heal more if the active character's health is below half or make him hit harder if they are closer to full health.

Here's the full Genshin Impact Baizhu gameplay trailer.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Av4gbEYYZmM&ab_channel=GenshinImpact
The last trailer mainly focused on highlighting Baizhu's personality.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the Baizhu banner is available until May 23, 2023. You can also get Kaveh on his banner.

Final Fantasy XVI eikons

Square Enix updated the official site for Final Fantasy XVI to include the Eikons' art and details. They are under the Characters tab. It also added more information about the battle system under the Battle page, and you can also view all the new videos or pictures under the Movies & Images tab.

The Eikons do not have their own section on the Characters page. Instead, they are a tab that you can toggle through on their respective Dominant's profile. Though it shows a picture of each of the Eikons as they appear in Final Fantasy XVI, it does not give much of a description on who they are. For example, Jill's profile states that she is the Dominant of Shiva and you can pull up a picture of Shiva, but that's it.

In previous Final Fantasy titles, Eikons and their equivalents are more plot devices and tools in battle than actual characters. This might explain why Square Enix did not provide them with much flavor text. For those who wish to see the full-body art of the Eikons, you can do so on the Movies & Images page. You will have to click on the plus sign in order to expand the page enough to see them.

Final Fantasy XVI is in development for the PS5 and it will come out on June 22, 2023. There will be a six-month exclusivity period.

Which Free Honkai: Star Rail Stellar Warp 5-Star Character Should You Pick?

HoYoVerse offers a promotion in Honkai: Star Rail with its always-available Stellar Warp gacha banner that involves letting players pick one free 5-star character. The catch is that only seven options are available after pulling 300 times. You can only pick from Bailu, Bronya, Clara, Gepard, Himeko, Welt, and Yanqing. All of them are allies who are available at all times, which means you might even have some of them. Now, in general any 5-star character could have potential. Especially if your team is lacking a person in a role like a debuffer or AOE damage dealer. However, a few of these possible allies are especially useful regardless of who you already own.

[caption id="attachment_961486" align="alignnone" width="1200"]Some Free Honkai: Star Rail Stellar Warp 5-Star Characters Are Very Helpful Screenshot via Siliconera[/caption]

So which 5-star Honkai: Star Rail character should I pick once I hit 300 pulls on the regular Stellar Warp banner?

I'm going to make this really easy for you with my top recommendation. If you don't already own Bailu, pick her. Even if you already earned the free Natasha as part of the Trailblaze Missions' story. Bailu is fantastic due to her AOE healing and Invigorated status buff. When Invigorated is active, one ally with it applied who falls in battle will be immediately revived with some help. Yes, it can only happen once per fight, but it's great. Also, any ally with that status will be healed automatically once after being damaged.

For a second pick, it might be a good idea to get Gepard. March 7th is a fantastic Preservation character and is great at shielding characters, then following up with attacks when that protected person is hit. But Gepard is an upgrade due to exactly how he protects the party. He'll still cover ice attacks, like she does. But his Comradery Technique gives everyone a shield when a battle starts and his Ultimate gives a shield to all allies at once. He also has an Integrity trace that draws aggro, which makes him your tank. Plus if he does fall in battle, his Unyielding Will Talent revives him once and restores his health.

Finally, my third recommendation would be Bronya. This is because she's one of the best supporters in the game, as well as being good at dealing damage. Her Skill removes debuffs, while also immediately letting someone act and deal more damage than usual. Her ultimate increases everyone's attack and critical hit damage. Her Technique also increases everyone's attack. Plus, by virtue of being around, her Battlefield and Military Might Traces increase everyone's defense and damage output.

But really, any of the seven could be a good pick. Especially if you've seen them in the story, like them, and are willing to find the Light Cones and Relics to make them useful.

Honkai: Star Rail is available for PCs and mobile devices, and PS4 and PS5 versions are in development.

Redfall Multiplayer Protagonists VampireYou probably already know that today's launch of Redfall has fallen short of expectations, to say the least. Critics and players have panned the game for a variety of reasons, with many of them relating to its overall lack of technical polish. Unsurprisingly, this has impacted Redfall's multiplayer functionality, as reports of players having trouble joining a game through the matchmaking system have surfaced. Although many likely won't enjoy the game, playing with a friend certainly beats playing alone, so they might still want to fix the issue. So what can you do to get the multiplayer working again in Redfall? Tips for fixing Redfall's multiplayer Many of the potential methods for fixing the multiplayer can apply to other games as well. One such method involves checking to see whether or not the servers have gone down. You can do this on the Bethesda.net Status Portal or the official Redfall Twitter account. Can you change a second Lightsaber color in Jedi: Survivor? Unfortunately, you cannot change the second Lightsaber blade color. Despite there being 11 different Lightsaber blade colors in the game, the developers oddly limited color choice to single uniform colors on both blades. This strikes us as an odd choice given the fact that you can change out six different components on Cal's Lightsaber and pick custom color schemes. Some of the components are so small that you'll only notice the customizations during cutscenes or while using Photo Mode. Yet something as iconic as the blade color of the Lightsaber must ma...
