I'm sure most Disney Dreamlight Valley players have spent their fair share of time gathering flowers at this point, whether it's to fill out that collection, complete certain quests for the roster of Dreamlight Valley characters that hang out in your beautiful town, or to build yourself some snazzy new furniture. It's an arduous task at the best of times, but it's made even more awkward thanks to colour similarities that can leave you chasing after the wrong plants in the farming game.

Destiny 2 blue weapons and armour, which indicate they are of 'rare' rarity as opposed to 'legendary' purple or 'exotic' yellow, will no longer drop for players after they reach a specific threshold. The change will begin with next week's Tuesday reset in the popular FPS game. Going forward, after players bypass the soft cap threshold, they'll no longer earn blues but will get Glimmer instead. Bungie will also increase Gunsmith reputation gains by 25% to account for the reputation gains a player would have obtained from dismantling Destiny 2 blues.

When is the Starfield release date? It was officially going to be in November 2022, but Bethesda announced a Starfield delay into 2023. Thankfully, we still got a pretty decent showing of the new open-world game at the Xbox and Bethesda showcase over the summer.
We haven't really heard much about the game since, which has left the Starfield community a bit thirsty for new information, but we're confident Bethesda won't keep us in the dark for too much longer. Whenever the Starfield release date ends up being, it has the potential to be one of the best PC games ever, so should be well worth the wait. Here's what we know about Starfield so far.

A Stalker 2 release date was announced at the Xbox and Bethesda Games E3 2021 showcase, with the developers also revealing gameplay and tidbits of the story, and characters. The game's official title is Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl, following on from the first in the series, Shadow of Chernobyl.
The game is set in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, an area plagued by mutant creatures, warring factions, and strange anomalies. The trailer shows these anomalies imploding anything that touches them. Stalker 2 revisits some of the same areas and places as the first game; it is an open-world game where you play as a lone stalker choosing paths to define a branching storyline, with several different endings. Using an upgraded detector, you can uncover artifacts and secrets hidden in dangerous locations guarded by legendary mutants - including the returning Bloodsucker - with different subtypes for unpredictable behaviour.
You can also tailor your weapons loadout; there are over 30 different types of guns and modifications you can pick up and install along the way. So, here's when you can expect Stalker 2 to release, as well as a dive into the trailer to pick out some of the dev highlights from E3 2021 in what will hopefully be one of the best PC games of 2023.

Looking for a Genshin Impact tier list? There are currently 61 Genshin Impact characters available, so there's no shortage of candidates for your dream team. But with so many different weapons, elementals, talents, ascension bonuses, and constellation upgrades, finding your favourites can be challenging.
Don't let the placement of the characters on our Genshin Impact tier list deter you from pulling on the next character banner. While base stats and elemental abilities are important, the value of a character also depends on personal playstyle, available weapons and artifacts, and team composition. That being said, if your favourite Genshin Impact character is in C tier or below, you may struggle to get past some of the more challenging Spiral Abyss floors. Don't worry too much if your favourite character is on one of the lower tiers; you can still make it work with our recommended Genshin Impact builds.
In general, being on a high tier means that the character is the best Genshin Impact character in their role, is not too difficult to build, and performs well regardless of teammates. Being on a lower tier in the free PC game means that there are better alternatives, or the character needs a very specific build or team to shine. Just to note, the characters are not ranked within their own tier, and with that out of the way, let's take a look at our ranking of characters in our Genshin Impact tier list.

With all the Sad Dad™ games that have cropped up in recent years, many have rightfully been asking: "Where are all the video game mums at?". Well, what if I told you that Swedish indie studio Might and Delight have been putting mums at the centre of their games since 2013? Yup, elephant mums in Shelter 3, Lynx mums in Shelter 2, and the OG badass badger mum in Shelter 1. Sure it's kinda terrible that the only major rep mums are getting in video games is in the form of Might and Delight's animal tales, but I'll honestly take any story about motherhood I can get my paws on.
As much as I love Shelter 2 (less so Shelter 3, unfortunately), Shelter 1 holds a special place in my heart, mostly because no other animal-focused survival game has come even remotely close to claiming the coveted title of "most brutal animal sim that made me ugly cry."

A new action figure based on JoJo's Bizarre Adventure depicts iconic hero Jotaro Kujo in a difficult situation. Created by Medicos Entertainment as part of its Super Action Statue series, the new JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Jotaro Kujo figure can recreate key moments from the story. [Thanks, Comic Natalie!]
The Medicos Super Action Statue Stone Ocean Jotaro figure shows off Jotaro Kujo, star of Stardust Crusaders and a recurring character throughout the series. He's dressed in the outfit he wore during the Stone Ocean saga. This includes snakeskin print pants and boots, a long purple coat with a high collar and sleeves decorated with a "JoJo" pattern, and Jotaro's trademark cap, which seems to blend into his hair.
Editor's Note: There are spoilers regarding Jotaro's appearance in Stone Ocean in the figure description below.
[gallery size="medium" ids="947711,947712,947713,947714,947715,947716" orderby="rand" link="file"]
This Jotaro figure also comes with several accessories, including a set of Stand Hands. The Stand hands represent the spectral arms of Jotaro's Stand, Star Platinum throwing punches. The Stand Hands also have transparent mounting arms to make them look like they're punching out of thin air. Finally, extra head parts depict Jotaro losing a pair of Discs out of his face. The accessories reference a moment from Stone Ocean where a villain's Stand power is used on Jotaro. The Stand power is able to extract a person's memories, and even their Stand, by seemingly "ejecting" them from their body in the form of a CD-like Disc object.
The Super Action Statue JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Jotaro figure is available for pre-order via Medicos Entertainment's online store. It costs 8,800 Yen (about $67 USD), and will ship in September 2023. The anime adaptation of Stone Ocean airs on Netflix.

Karakai Jouzu Takagi-san - KyunKyun Records, a mobile game based on the Teasing Master Takagi-san series, will shut down. The announcement came via the game's official website and social media feed. The closure is scheduled for March 31, 2023, about 10 months after the game's debut.
The announcement did not explain the reason for the closure of Teasing Master Takagi-san - Kyunkyun Records. The management team apologized to fans for the suddenness of the announcement. The premium "Olive" currency, the in-game Kyunkyun Passport, and Ad Skip Tickets will be sold until January 31, 2023, after which no premium purchases will be possible. However, players have until the same date to earn any remaining rewards left on the current Kyunkyun passport. A battle pass-like system, the Kyunkyun passport will become inaccessible after January 2023, including any unearned rewards.
The Kyunkyun Records game is a hybrid of daily life simulator and music game. Players will interact with Takagi and have her sing songs in karaoke style. They'll also be able to purchase songs for her to sing, as well as clothes and accessories to dress her up in.
Check out the game's announcement trailer.
As for the shutdown process, the game will be accessible after its closure via a planned offline version. The offline version will allow players to access music they've acquired. The team promised further details at a later date. Following the shutdown of Teasing Master Takagi-san Kyunkyun Records, the team will accept refund application for unused Olive currency and Ad Skip tickets.
Based on the manga by Soichiro Yamamoto, Teasing Master Takagi-san is a slice-of-life series featuring Takagi and her classmate Nishikata. Takagi loves to tease Nishikata, while Nishikata tries and fails to get back at her.
Teasing Master Takagi-san Kyunkyun Records is available on Android and iOS in Japan. The manga is published in English by Yen Press and the anime is available for streaming via services like Netflix and Crunchyroll.

Now that Fire Emblem Engage is here, you can head into FE Heroes to claim your Order of Heroes Item Set free bonus DLC. Nintendo shared a walkthrough. This is a fairly simple process, especially if you already linked the mobile game to your My Nintendo and Switch account. And even if you didn't, it's as simple as first logging into the same account you use on your Switch, then going through the redemption process.
When you get to the Fire Emblem Heroes home screen, you'll see the Quests & Missions portal on the bottom right of the "castle." Click that, then click the shield next to the "Quests & Missions" header on the next page. This will take you to a list of possible My Nintendo Rewards you can redeem for the mobile game. The very first item will now be a free Nintendo Switch Game Bonus Code + 5 Orbs option. That is what you want to select. You'll also want to be ready to write down, screenshot, or input after this next step.
That's because while the five free Orbs will be sent directly to your Fire Emblem Heroes Present List, the Switch FE Engage 16-digit code bonus will appear on screen. You'll need to open the eShop on your Switch, go to "Enter Code," then input that there. Once you do, it will automatically download the free DLC set. This gives you Alfonse's Folkvangr sword, Anna's Noatun ace, and Sharena's Fensalir Polearm, as well as Alfonse S, Anna S, and Sharena S rings characters can equip. If you already beat chapter three, it will automatically pop up when you load a save. If you haven't, then when returning to the Somniel after chapter three, you'll get the free items.
Fire Emblem Engage is available for the Switch, while Fire Emblem Heroes is on Android and Apple iOS devices. 150 days after you claim the Order of Heroes Item Set, it will expire. So if you get the eShop code on January 20, 2023, it must be used before it expires on June 19, 2023.

Kadokawa announced that it's producing the VTuber Legend story as a TV series, with a fake VTuber stream of its own. [Thanks, Comic Natalie!]
The VTuber Legend anime announcement trailer takes the form of a VTuber stream hosted by Awayuki Kokorone, promising a "Big announcement". Rather than an anime series, Kokorone announces an update to her VTuber avatar. She also dismisses the notion that any VTuber worth their salt would be so fool as to leave her stream running. Of course, she does exactly that, taking a call on a hot mic and leaking the "surprise" announcement of an anime adaptation. Awayuki Kokorone is voiced by Ayane Sakura, who also voices Miyamoto Musashi in Fate/Grand Order, Nearl in Arknights, and Ochako in My Hero Academia.
Check out the announcement video below.
Like its trailer, the VTuber Legend anime will be about Yuki Tanaka, a former wage slave who becomes the pure and polite Awayuki Korone on stream. One night, she leaves her stream running by accident and gets drunk, making crude jokes and commentary while watching archived videos. She goes viral, only to realize that her popularity has exploded in the wake of her dropping the polite and ladylike mien. She embraces her new and uninhibited persona and gets to know her fellow VTubers at Live-On, who themselves are a real handful.
The anime of VTuber Legend: How I Went Viral after Forgetting to Turn off My Stream is in production. The novels are published in English by J-Novel Club.

In September 2023, it will show up in North America for $54.99. Among her accessories will be a book Chi often reads in Chobits.

Here are Good Smile Company's photos showing off Chi.
There's also a Tokyo Otaku Mode exclusive bonus that gives Chi a second book from Chobits. If someone goes through the company, she'll also get a copy of My Only Person to hold. Note that while it is $54.99 through Good Smile Company, Tokyo Otaku Mode is charging $59.99.

The Genshin Impact Aeonblight Drake is a surprisingly tricky character to find! That's because it's in a cave, so you can't just go to a spot on the map. Worse, the cave isn't part of a series of caverns or tunnels. So if you miss the entrance, you probably aren't going to find it and get the Perpetual Caliber materials you need for certain Genshin Impact characters. To help you find that little aside, here's a quick look into how to reach that normal boss.
How to Find the Aeonblight Drake's Location in Genshin Impact
map to find the Aeonblight Drake's location in Genshin Impact is a little misleading. It makes it seem lke it is around Sumeru's Devantaka Mountain, near the Waypoint at the top of a gorge. However, in reality its underground positioning makes it difficult to assess.
That is the Waypoint you want to fast travel to in order to reach this boss, though. You want to head south from it until you see this flower. If you use a Dendro character like Nahida or the Traveler, you can use the element on it to cause it to send up the fast-travel orbs you can use to reach the platform outside the boss' den.
At this point, you can use those to fast travel to the area outside the ruins and den where this monster lives. If you don't have a Dendro character on hand, there is also a very thin ledge, which disappears at a spot, that can be used to make your way over.
From there, you'll see a Time Trial Challenge icon. (Or, well, the base for one if you already defeated it.) It stands outside some rather obvious ruins in the side of the mountain. What you want to do is head toward the wall near those ruins. There's actually an entrance and hallway there.
Head down that corridor, and you'll find yourself above the Aeonblight Drake's location in Genshin Impact and minutes away from a Perpetual Caliber or two. I find Itto especially effective for this fight, though Pyro-type characters work too. However, the boss does have a skill that increases its resistance to fire. After you beat it, you'll get the ascension material for Layla, Nilou, and Scaramouche/The Wanderer.
Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices.

Now that the 2023 Lantern Rite kicked off in Genshin Impact, Marco "Meatball" Domenico confirmed he voices a character named Dvorak in the game. Once someone takes and begins the "A Thousand Miles for an Enigmatic Tune" questline, they'll encounter Dvorak and Yaoyao outside Qingce.
Here's Marco Meatball's official announcement. Dvorak is an NPC musician from Fontaine, the next region heading to Genshin Impact. He's looking to learn the truth about an encounter his ancestor had, while also trying to bring the Iridescence Tour music festival to other regions. With the Lantern Rite kicking off, he gets a chance to further both goals.
Here's a video in which Marco Meatball goes over his Genshin Impact appearance.
As for Marco Meatball himself, he is an opera singer and voice actor. He also runs a YouTube channel going over video game music. In the past, he's reacted and analyzed songs from Final Fantasy XIV, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Armored Core, and Hades. In one of his more recent videos, he went over the Xiao "Endless Suffering" video.
Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices. The 2023 Lantern Rite will end on February 6, 2023.

Now that Fire Emblem Engage is here, someone might wonder how long it would take to beat the game and many chapters appear. Which is a complicated question! Like yes, there are the standard campaign chapters. However, there are also supplemental Paralogues which are optional and don't have to be completed. So depending on how much a player wants to do, the answer is either 26 or 41.
How Many Fire Emblem Engage Chapters Are There: The Easy Answer
It's 26. The main campaign only has 26. However, as a note, there are two chapters that are essentially "extended" and take longer than you'd expect. Both chapter 10 and 26 are fairly involved with multiple parts. Make sure you set aside extra time to complete those. (Though also, you can quick save at any time.)
How Many Fire Emblem Engage Chapters Are There: The More Intricate Answer
In addition to the 26 mainline chapters, there are 12 Paralogue chapters that increase the Bond level cap for Emblem Rings, two Paralogues with additional characters, and a final Paralogue that nets you the Pact Ring. That brings the total chapter count up to 41. Those 15 are all optional. However, I would strongly recommend, at the very least, going through the 12 Emblem Ring chapters and two that unlock Anna and Jean as playable characters.
As for how long it might take to beat Fire Emblem Engage, I finished after about 45 hours. However, that did take into account multiple hours spent grinding in optional battles on the world map.
Fire Emblem Engage is available for the Nintendo Switch.

Renowned developer FromSoftware had a major surprise in store for longtime fans during The Game Awards last month. The studio unveiled an impressive cinematic trailer for Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, the newest entry in the long-running mecha series. Considering Armored Core had not seen a new installment since 2013 up until this point, the announcement justifiably left fans more than a little excited. Additionally, the announcement serves as a refreshing break from the constant Souls games and other similar titles that FromSoftware has put out over the past decade. And now, fans will have more reason to look forward to the release of Armored Core VI, as a hefty showcase for the game will air next month. As spotted and translated by a user on Reddit, the Armored Core VI showcase will last a full hour, running from 4 PM until 5 PM PT on February 3. Not much else has surfaced regarding this showcase, except that Yasunori Ogura, the producer and promotional marketer for the ...
