Final Fantasy XI play diary

The e-book version of the FFXI play diary, titled Final Fantasy XI Journal: My time in Vana'diel will release on March 31, 2023. The book was written by Yasuhiro Nagata, former editor of the Japanese magazine Famitsu, under the pen name "Nagata like the Wind." The new e-book edition includes some extras that are not found in the paperback edition. The Final Fantasy XI play diary is available now for pre-order from Amazon Japan. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Final Fantasy XI Journal: My time in Vana'diel was serialized on the Famitsu website approximately 20 years ago, and it quickly garnered a lot of popularity. The new e-book edition includes a series of four-panel comics by manga artist Takayuki Mizushina, alongside the 20th issue of the serialization, which was omitted from the original paperback version.

The diary begins from the moment the player logs into the net, and it covers a wide array of topics that were very present during the beginning FFXI, such as the basics of adventuring, game slang and etiquette, among others.

The book is written from the perspective of a beginner in the world of Vana'diel, so that people that are unaware of the MMORPG's origins and its internet culture can see how the environment has changed since the beginning of its serialization, and to serve as a reminder of those days.

The Final Fantasy XI play diary is available now for pre-order from Amazon Japan. Final Fantasy XI is available for Windows PC, and Chapter 10 of the The Voracious Resurgence storyline went live in January 2023.

Mashle release date

Leaks indicate that the anime adaptation of Mashle could release on April 7, 2023 at midnight in Japan. Officially titled Mashle: Magic and Muscles, the previous release date window for the anime was April 2023. Mashle is an upcoming anime series based on the manga of the same name, written by Hajime Komoto. [Thanks, ryokutya2089!]

Mashle is a fantasy comedy that explores what it would be like if a magical society encountered a person possessing no magical ability, but who is able to get by on brute strength only.

Studio A-1 Pictures will be in charge of producing the Mashle anime, with Tomonari Tanaka acting as the director. A teaser trailer for the anime was shown during Jump Festa 2023, held on December 2022.

You can check out the Mashle anime teaser below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hbz4shbCPCA

The teaser trailer recreates the first chapter of the manga, with an added twist. The first chapter of the manga explains that magic is the foundation of the world of Mashle. Meanwhile, the teaser replaces the word "magic" with "cream puff." This is a reference to protagonist Mash Burnedead, who loves cream puff snacks above anything else in the world.

The Mashle: Magic and Muscles anime could premiere on April 7, 2023 at midnight in Japan. At the time of writing this this story, there are no confirmed plans for an international release.

Kotobukiya Bishoujo Star Trek Vulcan Figure Inspired by Spock

Kotobukiya's Kurosu took to MyFigureCollection to explain the inspiration behind the first Star Trek Bishoujo figure and noted that Spock did inspire the character. While the finished product is based on a general science officer from the original series, the different renditions of one of the most famous Vulcan's in the show influenced her.

Specifically, a handful of the Kotobukiya Star Trek Vulcan Bishoujo figure are designed to be callbacks to Spock. In the article, Kurosu cited the makeup referencing that of Leonard Nimoy's in the original TV show. Her hair color is also black, referencing the various portrayals of the character over the years. At one point during the design process, it almost ended up being "light gray."

Kurosu also noted the haircut in another point in the piece. Shunya Yamashita, the designer for the Bishoujo series, maintained the "signature five-point cut" that Star Trek Vulcans tend to have. However, the sculptor did need to redo the prototype's hair and ears.

The article from Kurosu also hinted at some additional Star Trek Bishoujo figures that could appear. Kotobukiya picked generic crew members to go with different officers. Kurosu noted, "We're hoping to make other officers, such as an operations officer, command officer, and explore a variety of options in this series."

The Star Trek Bishoujo figure is expected to arrive in Japan in September 2023, with a worldwide release appearing sometime after.

tanaka hidekazu

Hidekazu Tanaka, the composer for series such as Uma Musume Pretty Derby and The Idolm@ster, pleaded guilty to several indecent crimes. He'd attempted to solicit sex from a 15-year-old girl. As well, the court found him guilty of exposing himself on trains and sneaking pictures of girls' underwear. We do not yet know what his sentence will be. [Thanks, Livedoor!]

The incident that lead to Tanaka's initial arrest took place in August 2022. He forcibly grabbed a girl in a bicycle parking area while saying "sexual things" at her. At the time, it was unclear how old she was, but it turns out she was 15. As a reminder, Tanaka was 35 at the time. He'd told her that he would give her money in exchange for sexual favors. From September to October 2022, Tanaka used his phone to take pictures of girls' underwear from beneath their skirts at the JR Ebisu Station. He had also exposed his sexual organs in the train from JR Yurakucho Station to Tokyo Station.

During the preliminary trial, Tanaka pleaded guilty to all charges. He also explained that in the August 2022 case, he saw the girl and liked the way that she looked. He said he followed her onto a train and then attempted to solicit sex. In the case of sneaking pictures, he started doing so around ten years ago and had taken pictures "tens of times." He apologized and stated that he wanted to experience the thrill of whether he would get caught. He also stated that it was a way to relieve work stress and daily frustrations.

Hidekazu Tanaka composed not only for Uma Musume Pretty Derby and The Idolm@ster, but he also worked on Aikatsu, Working!!!, and Servant x Service. He also composed and arranged a number of theme songs for various anime, including Pokemon Journeys and Koimonogatari.

FFVII Remake Reno's Turks Suit is Extra

The FFVII Remake Twitter account shared some more details about its character design, focusing on Reno from Shinra's Turks this time. Unlike his fellow Turks, Reno has gone and personalized his suit. There are several close-ups and tidbits about the way that his outfit looks.

Here's the reveal going over his Turks suit in FFVII Remake, complete with pictures highlighting certain elements.
https://twitter.com/FFVIIR_CLOUD/status/1635928837870735360

For starters, Reno's jacket doesn't have any buttons. He keeps it together with a belt at the front of it. He does have buttons on his shirt, though! There are also some patches on his shoulders that look like they are crocodile skin. It is unknown what animal the skin is from, or even if it is natural. Unlike Tseng and Rude, who wear their suits in a much more traditional fashion, this suit seems to reflect Reno's more laid-back personality.

Ever since the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake, Square Enix has been posting little tidbits about the game onto Twitter. This can range from trivia about the design, such as this post about Reno in FFVII Remake, or information about the development of the game. Recently, Square Enix shared that in the original Final Fantasy, the team had considered having Barret use a bowgun.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is available on the PS4, PS5, and Windows PC.

     Hogwarts Legacy potions explained

Brewing Hogwarts Legacy potions is an integral part of the school curriculum and a vital tool in your fight against darkness. Potions are small bottles of liquid that imbue the user with various effects when ingested. From Harry Potter lore, these effects vary wildly and are only limited by the creativity of the brewer - growing back broken bones, physical transformations, and even falling in love are not out of the realms of possibility.

During your time in Hogwarts Legacy, you'll have the chance to attend potions class and whip up a few concoctions of your own. You also have the opportunity to steal the Hogwarts Legacy Fwooper feather, so give our guide a read to find out whether you should help out your fellow student. Thankfully, there's no Professor Snape in sight, but you're still going to have to keep your concentration levels up.

How to open Hogwarts Legacy eyeball chests

Not sure how to open Hogwarts Legacy eyeball chests? There are plenty of objects and items you can't interact with when you first start playing Hogwarts Legacy, but it won't take long before you can start collecting every item you find.

One of the objects you'll certainly run into during your time with the RPG game are eyeball chests, or chests with eyes. Each one of these chests holds 500 Galleons - and is a great way to make money in Hogwarts Legacy - which is enough to buy several Hogwarts Legacy potions, plants and seeds from Dogweed and Deathcap, and much more around Hogsmeade. While it may feel like these chests are always watching you, all you need to do is cast a spell to remain out of sight.

Want to know how to learn the Hogwarts Legacy unforgivable curses? You can go through the entirety of your wizarding adventure without learning how to cast any of these special curses, so you need to know which quest line to prioritise if you want to become a dark witch or wizard.

Unlike some RPG games, you don't have to worry about anyone judging you for using unforgivable curses because Hogwarts Legacy doesn't have a morality meter. This means you're able to cast these Hogwarts Legacy spells without being called out by your fellow students, but you have to live with the knowledge that you're using dangerous and evil magic.      How to drift with the Fortnite Nitro Drifter

Want to know how to drift with the Fortnite Nitro Drifter? One of the new futuristic vehicles introduced in Chapter 4 Season 2 is a variant of the regular cars seen in previous seasons, each with sleek, futuristic designs. However, unlike other sports cars, they don't have a nitrous tank to speed up at the press of a button, instead requiring you to drift to build up boost charge.

You can find the Fortnite Nitro Drifter pretty much everywhere on the Fortnite map, but the easiest place to find one in the battle royale game is on the race track north of Mega City. Once you've boarded a Nitro Drifter in Fortnite, you'll soon realise it acts like a regular car in many ways, with similar durability and maximum speed stats. However, as the car's name implies, there is a way you can drift around corners and get a boost of speed, just like the karts in Mario Kart. This is how to drift with a Nitro Drifter in Fortnite.

Best Warzone 2 marksman rifle for Season 2

Want to know the best Warzone 2 marksman rifle? While their usefulness in Modern Warfare 2 is somewhat limited by map size, marksman rifles are a lot more lethal in battle royale as it offers a far larger island to scope out targets from a distance.

To cut to the chase, the best Warzone 2 marksman rifle is the SPR-208. The marksman rifle category can't keep up with the best Warzone 2 sniper rifles in terms of stopping power, but the SPR-208 is the closest you're going to come. It offers a much faster rate of fire than most sniper rifles, and because a one-shot down isn't possible in the free PC game, the additional mobility and speed will serve you well. That should come in handy when your foe is just a bit too far away for even the best Warzone 2 guns to reach.

The Genshin Impact Sayu drift memes are hilariously accurate in their description of the ninja's movement with her elemental skill, and one player has turned those memes into reality with a steering wheel controller.      The Day Before release date, trailers, gameplay, and news

Excited for The Day Before release date? When its first trailer dropped back in 2021, The Day Before blew people away with its gritty open-world set in the United States following a deadly pandemic. A survival MMO, the game will see players exploring the world, scavenging for resources in the abandoned metropolis of New York City and the lush countryside outside it, all while taking down (or hiding from) infected, zombie-like enemies, and other players alike.

The devs switched to Unreal Engine 5 which pushed the release date to 2023, but we're finally approaching the day we'll be able to explore the post-apocalyptic Big Apple that Fntastic has crafted. If The Day Before manages to look and play remotely like the trailer footage, it could join our list as one of the best PC games.  With all that out of the way, let's take a look at everything we know about The Day Before, including trailers, news, and gameplay.

Best medieval games on PC 2023

Medieval games are less common than you might think. Rare is the videogame that doesn't feature at least one sword, suit of armour, or roast chicken. Still, they're usually mixed in with bearded hermits slinging magic fireballs, which we're reliably informed your average medieval peasant had very little knowledge of.

To that end, we've assembled a list of the best PC games that eschew all the prophecy and pyrotechnics for good old-fashioned steel-on-steel action. Medieval games come in all different shapes and sizes, with some opting for a more fantasy game style. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is, after all, no basis for a system of government. Similarly, a level ten Necromancer against a blacksmith wearing a potato sack is no basis for a fair fight.

How to unlock doors and chests in Hogwarts Legacy with Alohomora

You won't be able to unlock Hogwarts Legacy doors and chests for quite some time, as it isn't until you come across the main story quest called 'The Caretaker's Lunar Lament' and learn Alohomora. Here, you'll properly meet Hogwarts' caretaker, Gladwin Moon. He's usually a bit of a tough geezer, but he recently has become paranoid that someone's out to torment him. Recently he came face-to-face with a Boggart, which apparated into his greatest fear: a Demiguise. Now all of a sudden, there are statues everywhere, and he wants to reveal the identity of his assailant.

During this quest, Gladwin teaches you Alohomora, one of the Hogwarts Legacy spells, which unlocks both doors and chests, which in this open-world game can contain valuable gear and collectables. To get this precious spell, you first need to progress through the Hogwarts Legacy story for a fair number of hours until you get this main story quest in your log. Gladwin will teach the first level to you as part of the quest, but returning Hogwarts Legacy Demiguise Statues to him will eventually increase the spell's level to a maximum of three.

Heed my words, dear reader: Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo is best played if you go in knowing nothing about it. Zilch, zero, nada. Its twists and turns from the get-go have my brain doing mental gymnastics, not just in the game but in trying to figure out how to write around them for this review. I'm not going to spoil everything, but keeping your expectations completley wide open lets Paranormasight snake right on in and surprise you when you least expect it to.

Here's a quick elevator pitch: Paranormasight is a Squeenix-developed horror mystery visual novel about deadly rituals, ghost stories, curses, and the occult. Its subversive approach to classic visual novel staples make its puzzles feel smart and its horror scares hit hard. If you're a fan of the thrills found in the Danganronpa and Zero Escape games, Paranormasight is like a bite-sized version of those two behemoths. It's short, smart, and will keep you on your toes until the end.

So yeah, if that sounds like your thing, then have at it. From here on in, I'm going to be gabbing abut it in-depth.

I know you all like Hardspace: Shipbreaker, and I get that on paper it is very much my type of game. It is a manual job (slicing up spaceships for salvage) with an extra layer (unionism) to elevate it far beyond what it could have gotten away with. In this way it seems a lot like my beloved PowerWash Simulator (washing things; time travel).

The main thrust of the game I can really get behind - peeling apart big metal ships like clanky onions - but the more literal thrust, i.e. the moving around in zero gravity using a jetpack, is awful. I need you to give me a frame of reference for if you all felt this way at the start, because, genuinely, I am so bad at Hardspace: Shipbreaker that it makes me want to cry.

The question comes courtesy of Fachewachewa, who asked: What's the worst thing you've done for an achievement? Or more generally, a time you were focused on a specific goal in a game, reached it (or gave up), and after, looked back and thought, "Why did I do that?"

tanaka hidekazu

One Piece Chopper Tamagotchi Models Crossing the Ocean in May

It seems people won't need to wait too long to test out the One Piece Tony Tony Chopper virtual pet, as the Tamagotchi Nano appeared on Amazon outside Japan. The product listing notes that it will release on May 6, 2023. It will cost $24.99. [Thanks, Wario64!]

As with all Tamagotchi Nano models, it is a black-and-white variant. It is also smaller than more modern Tamagotchis. The two case models are Going Merry, inspired by the Straw Hats' ship, and a New World version based on Chopper himself. The shell is just cosmetic, as the game itself remains the same across variants. In each one, you take care of him by feeding and playing with him. Various events can come up that will feature Chopper with other One Piece characters. Also, depending on how well you care for him, he'll "evolve" to look like he did during different arcs in the series.

Bandai Namco releases Tamagotchi Nano variants inspired by anime series and games rather frequently. For example, there's a Kingdom Hearts one involving Sora and other characters, as well as a Spy x Family model that tasks people with caring for Anya. A One Piece TamaSma Card appeared as well. That let people raise traditional Tamagotchi characters cosplaying as characters from the anime and manga.

The One Piece Chopper Tamagotchi models will appear in North America on May 6, 2023. They are immediately available in Japan.

Splatoon 3 Voice Actors Music Performance

Nintendo released a behind the scenes video showing off the voice actor performances behind Splatoon 3's music. The video features two songs by Deep Cut and one by Damp Socks ft. Off the Hook, all of which should be familiar to Splatoon 3 players. The video also finally reveals the voice actors for Shiver and Frye from Deep Cut, who have been a mystery since the game's release. Shiver is voiced by Anna Sato while Frye is voiced by Laura Yokozawa. They are both singers working in Japan. The voice actor for the third member of the band, Big Man, is still unknown.

Here's the new Splatoon 3 music video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_hn4TuF6-xs

The video's three songs are "Anarchy Rainbow," "Fins in the Air," and "Tentacle to the Metal". "Anarchy Rainbow" plays in the plaza during Splatfests. "Fins in the Air" is one of the match tracks during a Splatfest. "Tentacle to the Metal," the only song in the video not performed by Deep Cut, is a standard match track heard in normal Splatoon 3 gameplay.

It's not the first time Nintendo released behind the scenes footage of Splatoon's music. Past games have shown off these performances, and Splatoon 3 has previously seen behind the scenes footage of C-Side's "Clickbait". Nintendo's celebration of Splatoon's music has also seen concerts, such as the joint Animal Crossing and Splatoon concert that happened in October.

Splatoon 3 is available now for Nintendo Switch.

Ghostwire: Tokyo Xbox Series X Version and Spider's Thread Update Arrive in April

Ghostwire: Tokyo is coming to another platform. Tango Gameworks announced an Xbox Series X version of the game. Ghostwire: Tokyo will come to the Xbox on April 12, 2023, the same day a free Spider's Thread update arrives on the PS5 and PC. It will also be a day one Xbox Game Pass release for both the console and PC version.

When Spider's Thread arrives, it will both add to existing areas and bring in entirely new experiences. The main story's cutscenes will, in some cases, be longer. People will also see Retribution and Silent Gaze Visitors wandering Tokyo. Akito will learn new skills, with Charge Rush and Counter Attack being the two named in the announcement. People can also explore a Tokyo Middle school to encounter its otherworldly visitors.

As for the name "Spider's Web," it applies to the new Ghostwire: Tokyo update mode. Tango Gameworks created 120 levels. When someone enters Spider's Web, 30 of them will be randomly chosen. They'll need to survive until the end. As they complete each area, they'll gradually be able to make Akito stronger.

Ghostwire: Tokyo originally debuted on the PS5 and PC in 2022. It was revealed to be a timed exclusive, with that now apparently set to expire in April. People follow Akito as a fog descends on Tokyo. As Akito is paired up with the spirit KK, the two must stop the person responsible for the sudden supernatural events in Tokyo and deal with Visitors by performing spells and special attacks with Kuji-kiri gestures.

Ghostwire: Tokyo is available on the PS5 and PC now, and the Xbox Series X version and free Spider's Thread update will arrive on April 12, 2023.

Zangief Fights Marisa in New Street Fighter 6 Footage

Ahead of the latest Street Fighter game, Capcom's been sharing developer matches to offer insight into what people can expect. The latest fight involves two brawlers. Returning wrestler Zangief faces off against the new Greek warrior Marisa.

Both Zangief and Marisa use wrestling moves and brawler attacks in Street Fighter 6. The two exchange some blows when the match begins. Likewise, the footage allows people to get a better sense of scale to see exactly how strong Marisa is. Also, to help provide a better sense of context and show off both moves, the match goes to three rounds. Both characters essentially use finishing moves in the final one, to offer a chance to compare attacks.

This isn't the first time Marisa appeared in one of these Street Fighter 6 developer matches, though it does mark Zangief's debut in them. Back in January 2023, another one appeared putting Marisa against fellow newcomer Manon.

Street Fighter 6 will appear on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on June 2, 2023. It will also show up in arcades. It is part of the Evo 2023 lineup as well.

There is also a key visual featuring the next generation of Shamans, with Amidamaru sitting on Hana's shoulders. [Thanks, Comic Natalie!]

First, here's the key visual:
[gallery columns="1" size="full" ids="955662" link="file"]

Shaman King Flowers follows the children of the Shamans from the original Shaman King. Hana Asakura, the protagonist of the sequel, is the son of Yoh Asakura and Anna Kyoyama. The manga originally ran from 2012 to 2014. Though Hana is the next head of the Asakura family, he feels frustrated that he cannot find a place to use his Shaman powers. However, a meeting with assassins Yohane and Ruka, who are members of the Asakura branch family, triggers the beginning of a new battle.

The cast for Shaman King Flowers so far is as follows:

  • Amidamaru: Katsuyuki Konishi (reprising his role as Amidamaru)
  • Alumi Niumbirch: Sumire Uesaka (Saeko in Yakuza: Like a Dragon)
  • Gakko Ibuki: Michiko Kaiden (Dorio in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners)
  • Hana Asakura: Yoko Hikasa (Yoh Asakura from Shaman King)

  • Here's the first PV:

    Power Pro Chainsaw Man

The Devil Hunters of Public Safety Special Division 4 are traveling far and wide. Their latest excursion is out to the diamond, to join a Power Pro and Chainsaw Man crossover. The event will launch in the mobile version of Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball on March 16, 2023 in Japan. [Thanks, Denfaminico Gamer!]

Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball (also known as Power Pro Mobile) is the mobile version of Konami's long-running Powerful Pro baseball series. Its gameplay combines training mechanics with baseball mechanics reminiscent of the console-based versions of the game. Players can also build out their teams by collecting characters, all of which are rendered in the game's distinct chibi art style.

The Power Pro and Chainsaw Man crossover event adds four characters from the series to the roster: Denji, Power, Aki, and Makima. Based on the event details, Denji and Power will be obtainable via the game's gacha system. Aki can be obtained as a reward for one of the event's minigames. The details didn't specify whether Makima would be playable, or if she appears in the game as an NPC. Like other crossover characters, the Chainsaw Man additions will appear in the game's signature art style.

    [gallery columns="4" size="medium" ids="955649,955650,955651,955652" link="file"]

Owing to the popularity of the manga and the recent debut of its anime adaptation, Chainsaw Man ended up involved in a host of cross-promotions with various brands, including games, merchandise, and more. The characters who appear in the Power Pro x Chainsaw Man crossover also showed up in the world of Goddess of Victory: Nikke in March 2023. In that event, though, Aki and Denji weren't playable, while Himeno, Power, and Makima were.

Power Pro Baseball Mobile is available on iOS and Android in Japan. The Chainsaw Man anime streams on various platforms, including Crunchyroll and Netflix. WBSC eBaseball Power Pros recently released worldwide on Nintendo Switch, and overseas was priced for just $1.

    Puma FFXIV

Two members of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn have joined the Warrior of Light to promote Puma's new line of Final Fantasy XIV-inspired wear. The FFXIV and Puma collection, "A Wardrobe Reborn," went on sale today. The official Puma Japan account also tweeted out a promo video featuring three Final Fantasy XIV characters decked out in the items.

    https://twitter.com/puma_jpn/status/1635808033421795329

The commercial shows Scions characters Alisaie Leveilleur and Estinien Varlineau walking about a modern cityscape dressed in the Puma x FFXIV street wear. They're also joined by the Warrior of Light, or at least, the default male Midlander Hyur version seen in the various Final Fantasy XIV opening scenes. Alisaie wears the white hoodie with the game's meteor, and carries a backpack emblazoned with the line's logo, which incorporates the Final Fantasy XIV Fat Cat. Estinien wears a crossbody bag, cap, and shorts in the same style. Both wear sneakers from the line as well, specifically the "Unisex eSports Slipstreams", with a blue colorway and a crystal-themed lace ornament.

Meanwhile the Warrior of Light is dressed in the all-black "gaming hoodie", which features a pattern of the Fat Cat, Fat Chocobo, and Fat Black Chocobo. In one part of the trailer he's wearing the black-and-purple eSports Slipstreams, but  at the close of the trailer he's wearing a different pair that matches the "Court and Rider Chaos Basketball Shoes".

The FFXIV x Puma street wear line is available in Japan and North America via Puma's online storefront. Final Fantasy XIV is available on PC, PS4, and PS5.

    Uma Musume Global

There might be a chance for the horse girls of Uma Musume to go global after all. A video presentation uploaded by Google might have revealed the existence of an Uma Musume global release.

The presentation in question is a video titled Google Play Games on PC: Unlock Seamless Gameplay Across Mobile and PC, uploaded to the official Android Developers YouTube channel. Presented as part of the Google For Games Developer Summit, the video is presented by Google Play Games Director of Product Management Arjun Dayal. The nearly 19-minute presentation is mainly targeted at new and existing game developers, and exists to promote Google's initiatives for cross-platform compatibility through the Google Play Games on PC app. The app is a Windows-based program that allows players to launch select games and play them on a PC interface. Participating titles include Arknights, Mobile Legends, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, and Dragon Ball Legends.

The relevant point about a possible Uma Musume global release comes at about 4 minutes and 20 seconds into the presentation. Dayal offers a "sneak peek" at upcoming mobile games about to launch in 2023 for Google Play Games on PC.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfqh9soEKNg&t=258s

Dayal promotes the arrival of Garena Free Fire, Ludo King, Disney Mirrorverse, Angry Birds 2, and Maple Story M. Then he invites interested developers and players to "join an anime equestrian universe with Uma Musume." And that's about it. Nothing else is shown regarding the game.

It's possible that Dayal is referring simply to a launch of the Japanese version of Uma Musume on the Japanese Google Play Games on PC client. In that case, this would not be an Uma Musume global release at all, but merely an expansion of existing platform support for the Japanese version. However, given that the video is only in English and consistently refers to games that are available in English-speaking territories, Uma Musume's inclusion at least opens up the possibility. Outside of teases from 2022 hinting at ongoing work, Cygames has remained silent regarding an Uma Musume international release window.

Uma Musume is available on Android and iOS in Japan. Its anime adaptation: Uma Musume Pretty Derby, streamed in English on Crunchyroll. Its third season will air in 2023.
