Hey, remember that little game Palworld? Well as of today, it's surpassed a staggering 25 million players, all within about a month of its early access launch. That's a lot of people shooting at or alongside their legally distinct "pals," not Pokémon. Love it or hate it—or don't get it all, like myself—people have…

Hollywood loves nothing more than gnawing on the bones of preexisting IPs. Whether a reboot is good or not, it will almost certainly be lucrative. When it comes to Avatar: The Last Airbender, the industry powers that be should've learned their lesson the first time. In 2010, Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan…

How do you win Solium Infernum? As with most strategy games, there are myriad ways to win, and most all can be thwarted by someone else's schemes. With that in mind, it's essential to have a good game plan in mind.
You wouldn't be playing Solium Infernum if you didn't want to win, and with the Machiavellian mind of a demon, you can achieve victory by any number of deceitful tactics. Whether you overpower your opponents with brute strength, cheat and lie your way to the throne, or simply claim the city of Pandaemonium for yourself, make sure you're controlling one of the best Solium Infernum Archfiends, and have plan A and B ready to go in the strategy game. And read our Solium Infernum review to see if and how we won, and which techniques we explored playing as golden-haired fallen angel Andromalius.
Every strategy game - or RTS, city builder, 4X, or management game - eventually destabilizes and malforms into an idle repetition of clicks. In the early game, your decisions feel crucial, tactile - with meager resources and a small, incipient society under your precarious control, diplomacy, the economy, the military, production, and culture and research must all be carefully steered. Civilization 6, Age of Empires, and Cities Skylines 2, for example, are their most interesting during this initial phase. But by the midgame and certainly towards the final third, you have created - due to these games' focus on exponential, colonial growth - so many units, cities, construction projects, and frontlines that you detach from the intellectual or emotional possibilities of the strategy experience. You've disengaged from the intricacies or forensics of leadership. Your 'strategy' has blurred and bloated into an abstract, gamified generality - you don't care about your cities or your people any more, only producing more soldiers, more research, more money, or whatever resource will most expeditiously achieve a victory condition.
The modding community is great at finding ways to extend the life expectancy of aging tech, and recently, an optimistic group of Brazilian modders attempted an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 VRAM upgrade. Their goal was to double the VRAM to 16GB, hopefully allowing the non-super RTX 2080 to perform better in modern games.
At the time of its release, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 was among the best graphics cards available, but that was all the way back in 2018. Games are now becoming far more memory-hungry, so there's plenty of reason to hope that an RTX 2080 VRAM upgrade will greatly extend the otherwise still capable card's life, and it appears that early results show promising results.
Nvidia's RTX 4070 is a popular mid-range graphics card that delivers good rasterised performance with best-in-class RT and upscaling/frame generation features. Normally it costs around $550, but today you can get a three-fan Gigabyte Windforce model for just $530 thanks to a $20 off voucher at Newegg. To get this price, just use code VGAEXCGBET625 at the checkout.
Buying factory refurbished monitors is a great way to save a ton of money on high-end models, and today an Ebay code knocks an additional 9% off this model from Acer, the XV275K P3. This is a 27-inch 4K 160Hz model ideal for mid-range to high-end gaming PCs or gaming consoles, with Mini LED backlighting for impactful HDR, HDMI 2.1 for 4K 120Hz gameplay on PS5 and Series X and much more. This monitor originally retailed at $800, but today you can pick it up for just $364 at Ebay US!
A lot of games have been attempting to get a bite of Civilization's vast audience in recent years, such as Old World and Humankind. The next to try is Paradox's Millennia, which covers 10,000 years via a historical 4X. Although, as a new trailer shows, history might include battling alien invasions or rogue AIs.
Project L, Riot's long-gestating fighting game which is focused on 2v2 tag team fights, finally has a real name. It's "2XKO", which is both awkward to type and to say.
There's another Studio Trigger series character getting a Nendoroid, as a new Darling in the Franxx Zero Two figure is on the way. She'll debut in Japan in August 2024 for ¥6,100, but her US release is set for Q1 2025 for $38.99.
This version of Zero Two is a little more basic than her past ones. She's wearing her pilot suit for when she heads into Strelizia. In addition to extra hands, she comes with a gun she can wield. Her three face plates, which are different from past ones released for the character, show her looking smug, smiling with her tongue licking her lips, and going berserk.
Here's how that Nendoroid will look:
As a reminder, this is now one of three different Darling in the Franxx figure options for Zero Two in this line. The first is a standard one that debuted in December 2018 and reappeared in September 2021. The second was a version of her as a child.
The Darling in the Franxx Zero Two pilot suit Nendoroid will be out in August 2024 in Japan and Q1 2025 in North America. Pre-orders end on March 28, 2024. The anime is on Crunchyroll, while Seven Seas handled the manga.

Slaying monsters and saving the world might just need a little bit more than a mouse click. Does Last Epoch feature controller support? Continue reading to find out! Can you play Last Epoch with controllers? Now that Last Epoch has finally left Early Access, and with many players who enjoy action role-playing games and dungeon crawlers willing to give it a try, one of the main issues that may pop out in gameplay is the full or partial support of controllers. While many play with the mouse and keyboard combination, there is a case for controllers being the best way to play this type of gaming genre. If you take a look at the official Last Epoch Steam page, you will notice that they advertise Partial Controller Support, which can sound troubling. However, after playing the game for a bit, I'm pleased to say that Last Epoch does feature controller support, and a very decent one as well. Image: PC Invasion I have two controllers available at the moment: a DualSense con...

Why weild one weapon in Last Epoch when two will make you even deadlier? The downside is that not everyone can dual-wield. Read on below to find out both who can dual wield and how to do it in Last Epoch. Lost Epoch: How to dual wield Only certain classes in the game can dual-wield. On top of that, you'll need specific passive skills to take on two weapons. Of the characters that can dual-wield, some of them require more grinding than others. But regardless of which class you pick that can dual wield, make sure you're only using one-handed weapons. Otherwise, both slots get filled up with two-handed weapons. Check out this snapshot of who can dual-wield below. You can also find out which passive skill you need. Rogue – From unlocking Twin Blade by spending five skill points, you can use one-handed swords and daggers. Primialist – Earned when you invest five skill points in Harmony of Blades. With three incredible Mage Mastery choices in Last Epoch, we have ranked all three to decide which one is the best for the Mage Class. You have the Sorcerer, Spellblade, and Runemaster, all with their unique playstyles. Once you get the choice of a Mastery, you need to know which is the best. Last Epoch: Best Mage Mastery Class, ranked from worst to best Screenshot: Eleventh Hour Games 3. Spellblade Instead of casting spells from afar, the Spellblade Mastery has you deal close-range magic attacks with your sharp weapons. I wouldn't call it the best, simply because the skills just aren't as powerful as the other two Masteries. Your one skill Shatter Strike can deal with a sweeping melee attack which also deals cold damage. Then there's Flame Reave, cleaving through enemies in front of you with fire damage. You can even use Enchant Weapon to enhance your weapon with elemental powers. All of this just doesn't compare to some of the devastating att...

My time through Final Fantasy VII Rebirth was profound. In one moment I was relishing in the opportunity to learn more about a world and characters I have loved for nearly 30 years. In the next, I was mourning the passing of principles and ideas that represent the very foundation of my love for the RPG genre and the Final Fantasy franchise as a whole. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth marks the very best in class across practically every element of game design for the Final Fantasy franchise, but I still couldn't help but feel I was bidding farewell to an old friend.

It's been a busy year for Nvidia already, following the release of the RTX 40-series Super GPUs and the open beta of RTX Remix. It's following these launches with another that wasn't announced ahead of time, the Nvidia app is a brand new piece of software designed to be an all-in-one solution and replacement for both GeForce Experience and its existing driver Control Panel. And in a positive turn up for the books, you no longer need to sign in with an email, like you used to with GeForce Experience.
Nvidia might be best known for producing some of the best graphics cards on the market, but based on recent reports, only one-sixth of its revenue came from gaming GPUs last year. Despite this, it's still a titan of the graphics card world and a change as significant and out of the blue as this is quite the surprise.

When is the Soulframe release date? The upcoming fantasy MMORPG from the creators behind Warframe has been on our minds since it was first announced in 2022. There is still little known about the project other than that it is a beautiful open-world game set in a natural environment and revolving around themes of climate change and environmental destruction, so of course, we had to find out more.
During our time at Tennocon 2023, we caught a glimpse into the world of Soulframe, which certainly looks and feels very different from its sister, Warframe. Here's everything we know about the MMORPG at the moment, and boy, it looks like it'll be a good one.

The Pacific Drive release date has been and gone, and if our very own Nat's Pacific Drive review is anything to go by, everyone should be playing it. Here's how to open the Pacific Drive Dumpster Pearl.
2023 saw the return of one of Steam's best survival games, as sequel Sons of the Forest made its debut in early access in February. Boasting a peak player count far eclipsing some of its biggest rivals such as Ark and Rust, and putting it in close contention with the mighty Valheim, the cannibal-infested horror survival sim from Endnight Games has scored a 'very positive' 85% user rating after its first year in early access. Now, almost one year later to the day, the Sons of the Forest 1.0 launch is here, with plenty of new tricks to its name.

When is the Solium Infernumrelease time? This is one of the coolest new strategy games we've seen in a long time. Part Civilization 6, part Diablo 4, and part Doom Eternal, it casts you as one of eight archfiends, vying for control of Hell after Lucifer himself has mysteriously disappeared.

How do you craft Nightingale Ink? Nightingale is a survival game which takes you through a series of stunning, randomly generated realms, pre-determined by the Realm Cards you use to get there. To print new and interesting new Realm Cards, though, you need to get your hands on some ink.
There are almost too many crafting recipes to count in Nightingale, so the crafting game genre title isn't attached lightly. So much so, in fact, that it can be quite hard to work out what you need to craft certain items, as you may need to build a series of benches and craft other resources before you're even close. Nightingale Ink is one of those, but we're here to simplify the process and get you on track to make new Nightingale Realm Cards in no time.

What are the best stratagems in Helldivers 2? To spread democracy as efficiently as possible, you need to spend your credits wisely. The tricky thing about stratagems is that they all serve different purposes depending on the number of players you're fighting with, in addition to the enemy you're facing.
One bad purchase is the equivalent of several wasted missions, and no one wants to waste their precious time, especially when the Helldivers 2 servers are in a state at the moment. In this co-op game, you need to be careful about how you're using your stratagems as friendly fire is on, and it cannot be disabled. Don't forget to check out our list of the best Helldivers 2 weapons so you have everything you need to take on any enemy.

There's no shortage of contenders for the best FF14 mounts, but there's a particular ride that has long maintained its position as one of the coolest and most useful mounts in the critically acclaimed MMORPG. The Final Fantasy 14 Regalia Type-G mount, perhaps best known as 'the FF15 car' by players, is one of just a few four-player mounts you can get your hands on, is probably the best-looking, and is by far the easiest of them to obtain - or, it would be, but it hasn't been available to buy for over two years. That's about to change, however, so if you started playing recently or missed it in previous events, now is your chance to claim one.
What are the best tycoon games? Whether you're after classic park management, or taking charge of a complex, nuanced business, there are plenty of great options to choose from right now, across a range of themes. This is a classic genre that's had plenty of love since its early days, with sequels and new blood galore.
While there are plenty of classic tycoon games we could talk about - many of which are some of the best PC games available - we've decided to focus on modern highlights, as this is a genre that's constantly getting new releases and new ideas. We've also kept the definition relatively broad, as there are plenty of management games that you may not consider strictly 'tycoon' games, but have strong business or economic themes with the mechanics to back them up.
Project L, Riot's long-gestating fighting game which is focused on 2v2 tag team fights, finally has a real name. It's "2XKO", which is both awkward to type and to say.
Satan has vanished, the throne of hell lies empty, and eight Archfiends are all jostling to be its chief seat warmer. It's a great setup for a role-playing strategy game, and the allure of plotting, scheming, backstabbing and shmoozing your way to victory remains as enticing today as it did when Solium Infernum first came to PC in 2009. At the time, it launched to relative obscurity, and was mostly kept alive by dedicated play-by-email multiplayer groups. It was through one of these groups that Armello developers League Of Geeks first came into contact with it, and now, years later, have taken on the task of remaking Solium Infernum for a modern audience.
The original Solium was, by all accounts, an intensely knotty and dense affair, impenetrable to newcomers, or at least to those who were unprepared (or unwilling) to study and absorb all the countless variations and statistics involved in creating your own unique Archfiend. It was a bit like creating a D&D character sheet, only about ten times more complicated, and whose strategic implications may or may not have made themselves apparent until it was far too late. You could biff yourself before you began, in other words, and League Of Geeks have made admirable attempts to tame and streamline this unruly hell beast, doing away with a lot of that initial fussiness. As is perhaps fitting for the theme here, there are unfortunately still a few pesky gremlins causing mayhem behind the scenes at time of writing (I'm pointing the finger at literal bug queen Beelzebub for this), but for the most part, there's good fun to be had in this new incarnation of Solium Infernum - and particularly if you have some willing friends who you soon hope to call enemies.
Every few years, gorgeous action adventure Little Devil Inside re-surfaces with another stunning, exciting trailer. We last saw it at a PlayStation State Of Play back in 2021, where it was seemingly on track for a 2022 release.
It's been radio silence ever since, but it has now once again resurfaced, with another gorgeous trailer and a promise that the development team, now smaller, is back "with the duty and conscience to fulfill what we set out to do."
Epic Mickey, Warren Spector's action-platforming love letter to early period Disney, is heading to PC more than a decade after its original Wii exclusive release. It'll arrive as Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, a "remake" with modern graphics and controls.
As Helldivers 2 continues to be struggling with its own success, suffering wildly overloaded servers that make it sometimes tricky to even log in, a new patch today has added a feature to help alleviate the pressure. Having previously capped the number of players to 450,000, developers Arrowhead have now added an auto-kick to stop people hogging those precious slots while not playing. After 15 minutes, AFK players will now get booted. It's clearly not the big fix needed but hopefully fresh duct tape will help hold the co-op shooter together until more permanent solutions arrive.
This week on a spotlessly cleansed Electronic Wireless Show podcast: Alice takes the opportunity to make everyone talk and think about PowerWash Simulator, which also means Nate gets to talk about Warhammer 40K bloody loads, because that's the next DLC pack for PowerWash Sim. We also reminisce about our other favourite gaming crossovers, and try to dream up some cross-universe mashups of our own.
Plus! We talk about what we've been playing this week, consider whether we would "RoboCop ourselves," and I disgust Alice with a confectionary confession.
Flintlock: The Siege Of Dawn is one of those third person action adventure games I've been quietly looking forward to ever since I first read about it in Edge in May 2022, even though we've seen and heard relatively little about it since. Thankfully, the Flintlock train does seem to be kicking into a gear a bit more now that it's steaming toward its Summer 2024 release window, as yesterday developers A44 Games released a new gameplay teaser trailer for it, ahead of a wider reveal planned for next month. The trailer shows more of its melee and magical combat, though personally, I'm just glad to see that heroine Nor hasn't been neglecting her leg days, as we get to see some meaty and powerful kicks in there, too. Love a big kick, me.
Hitman's Elusive Targets started as a series of one-off assassinations, baddies who would appear in the live service game for a few days and offer one chance to kill them (don't blow it!) before vanishing. While developers Io Interactive did eventually start bringing back Elusive Targets due to popular demand/widespread frustration, some have proved more elusive than others. Four years since he last appeared, a target played by famous dier Sean Bean will return in March. Kill him, kill him while you can. It's what he would want. It's how he pays his rent. Craft services don't even offer him a cuppa until he croaks.
The PS VR2, Sony's currently PS5-exclusive VR gaming headset, looks like it'll be latching onto the faces of PC owners as well. Tucked away in a PlayStation blog post about upcoming PS VR2 games, Sony Interactive content communications manager Gillen McAllister confirmed that Sony are "currently testing the ability for PS VR2 players to access additional games on PC" and that the plan is have this extra support ready within 2024.

Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIV Official Blog Backstage Investigators section shared an interview with Background Concept Artist Mariko Higashi about designing locations around the game's world. When discussing the "most memorable backgrounds" she designed, she talked about both Labyrinthos and the YoRHa: Dark ApocalypseNieR Automata Copied Factory and Hobbes boss in FFXIV.
When discussing the futuristic designs of Labyrinthos and balancing that with Greek architecture, Higashi brought up the FFXIV Copied Factory and Puppets' Bunker. Hobbes is one of multiple bosses people face in the Copied Factory raid, alongside others like Engels and 9S. Puppet's Bunker is another raid, which features a version of 2P as one of the boss fights. Higashi especially noted how YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse meant she got to design both the boss and location, which was unusual for her.
Here's her full response regarding the FFXIV Labyrinthos area and the NieR Automata Hobbes and Copied Factory design.
I'm especially fond of Labyrinthos, the first area I ever designed. With Labyrinthos, we added "high-tech machinery" to Old Sharlayan's imagery of "Greek architecture and conch shells." While these conflicting visuals were an intriguing combination, a poor integration would look out of place, so I spent many painstaking hours getting the balance just right.
Out of everything in Labyrinthos, I'm especially fond of Thaumazein's shell-like roof and the bizarrely cute roundness of the cisterns.
I was also in charge of backgrounds for the Copied Factory and the Puppets' Bunker of YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse. As a big fan of the NieR series, I was absolutely thrilled when I was assigned to the crossover!
I enjoy imagining the internal structure of mechanisms or how they might move, so I had a lot of fun designing Hobbes, the second boss in the Copied Factory. Since its mechanics involve the chamber's walls, we background concept artists had the rare opportunity of designing both a boss and its arena, which was a gratifying experience.

Konami first released the inaugural Tokimeki Memorial game for PC Engine on May 27, 1994. While its 1995 PlayStation release was the most well-known, Konami also released the high school dating simulation game for Super Famicom (SNES) in 1996, Sega Saturn in 1996, Windows 95 PC in 1997, and Game Boy in 1999. The company later ported the PlayStation build to the PSP in 2006 and the PS3 via Game Archives in 2009.
Konami has been spotted building up anticipation for the Tokimeki Memorial series' 30th anniversary since 2023, when it opened a new official account on Twitter (now X). It is also working with Good Smile Company to produce Shiori Fujisaki's Nendoroid.

The official NieR series socialmedia account posted some images to celebrate the seventh anniversary of NieR Automata, and that also meant a new sales milestone update. The game now passed eight million in sales.
Here's the first social media post about the sales update. It confirmed that this is a worldwide figure that includes both digital and physical copies of the game. The art for the image showed 2B alongside the figure.
There's also a NieR Automata short video celebrating the seventh anniversary and eight million sales announcement too. It shows 2B and 9S at the Amusement Park while fireworks appear highlighting the accomplishments.
Another hallmark piece of merchandise appeared as the seventh anniversary approached. Onkyo is selling wines based on 2B and 9S. They were aged in barrels while songs from the soundtrack played.
NieR Automata is available on the PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and Windows PC. There is also an anime adaptation that is available to stream via Crunchyroll.

With Honkai Impact 3rd Part 2 fast approaching, HoYoVerse shared new insights into it with a Deepspace Anchor: First Light Battlesuit Senadina video and the release of its "No Ceiling" soundtrack. Both are available immediately to watch or listen to online.
First, the new video is the "Character Impression Trailer of S-Rank Battlesuit Deepspace Anchor: First Light" for Senadina. It begins with Senadina and the female version of the Dreamseeker on the subway. This is more of a segment to showcase her personality. However, after she suddenly disappears, it's clear she's performing a stunt for attention. From there, we get to hear the newest song added to the game's soundtrack and see Senadina using her yo-yos as roller skates to get around the city. (She passes Songque along the way.) She then shows off her yo-yo skills for the crowd.
Here's the new Honkai Impact 3rd trailer focusing on Senadina, with the new song from the soundtrack appearing at the 43 second mark.
As for the soundtrack, that also features Senadina as a featured character on it. She is the first S-rank Battlesuit in the 7.3 update, and she'll also be one of the three new, main characters to be featured heavily in the storyline alongside Coralie and Helia. This is more of a single, given it only features the song "No Ceiling." It features the standard track by HoYo-Mix and the instrumental version. It's on Apple Music and Spotify now.
We also know about two other major characters who will debut in this update. They are the new AstralOp ones who support Astral Ring Battlesuits. Everyone gets Dreamseeker for free, and they'll need to pull on a banner for Songque.
Honkai Impact 3rd is available for the PC and mobile devices, and the Part 2 version 7.3 release date is February 29, 2024.
Bandai Spirits and Banpresto revealed new acrylic stands modeled after Blue Protocol characters, and the merchandise will be available as prizes from crane games in Namco's arcade centers starting from March 8, 2024.
The lineup will feature a total of six non-player characters who play major roles in the online game's storyline. The roster includes Feste, Einrain, Tyris, Aerinse, and Jake, who are also featured on the game's website. The acrylic stands will have an average height of 15 cm (~5.9 inches).
Here's a closer look at the Blue Protocol character merchandise:
Image via Banpresto and Bandai Namco
Blue Protocol is a massively multiplayer online RPG that is immediately available in Japan on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. Amazon Games will launch a localized version for the Americas, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand in 2024.
Bandai Namco announced that Blue Protocol had surpassed a million downloads in late January 2024 in Japan alone. But despite the milestone, the company suggested that the MMORPG underperformed in its Q3 FY2024 financial report without directly mentioning the title—even when Blue Protocol was the only online game it launched in the fiscal year that started in April 2023.
The Blue Protocol acrylic character stands will be available as crane game prizes in Namco arcade centers across Japan from March 8, 2024.

Square Enix released the guidelines for anyone who may be live streaming or sharing screenshots from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and the company and Creative Director Tetsuya Nomura reminded players that they requested spoiler warnings be used. Other than that, they are relatively relaxed compared to ones for other games.
As for the streaming, Nomura noted in his statement that there are no "record" or "share" restrictions on a system-wide level, so everything could be captured or recorded. This is why he and the company are requesting spoiler warnings be used on all created material and that thumbnails don't include images with heavy spoilers.
Here is Tetsuya Nomura's full statement regarding the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth live streaming and screenshot guidelines, including regarding the spoiler warnings.
The launch of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is nearly here, with only seven days to go. Our livestreaming and content sharing guidelines have already been announced, but please allow me to communicate this important request again.
When posting anything that strongly relates to the game's story on social media and video sharing sites, I ask that you please make sure to include spoiler warnings so as not to affect the experience of those who have yet to play the game. I would also be very grateful if you could refrain from using any scenes from those vital parts of the story in your video thumbnails.
We deliberately did not restrict the "record" and "share" functions for any areas in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth as we want you to be able to share and comment on your gameplay experiences. Still, I am making this request to ask for respect towards all the players out there who want to avoid any spoilers until they have personally completed the story.
Full details of the sharing guidelines can be found at the URL in this post. I ask for your understanding and cooperation so that everyone who has waited so long for this day can enjoy Final Fantasy VII Rebirth to the fullest.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will come to the PS5 on February 29, 2024. Its demo is live now on the PlayStation Store. The game's PS5 exclusivity arrangement expires on May 29, 2024.
Koichiro Ito, a producer for the movie Your Name, has been arrested in Japan for breaking child pornography laws. He was coercing high school girls he met through social media and having them send him nude photos. [Thanks, Mainichi!]
At the time of his arrest, Ito was 52 years old and was taken in by Wakayama police. The police believe that he has other victims aside from the high school girl. According to the police, he met a high school girl in the Nagano Prefecture through social media in September 2021. At the time, she was only in her first year, which means she was 15 years old. Despite knowing that she was 15 years old, Ito ordered her to take naked selfies and send them to his smartphone. The police also believe that Ito took part in other sexual crimes against children.
Ito admitted to the accusations. He stated that he has had many such interactions in the past. So he can't entirely recall the high school girl in question.
Koichiro Ito was one of two producers for Makoto Shinkai'sYour Name. The movie debuted in 2016 and made over $382.2 million in the box office. It tells of high school students Taki and Mitsuha, who swap bodies even though they don't know each other. It was a huge commercial success both within and outside of Japan.

While playing any ARPG, you'll see elements that can enhance your weapon or gears. Since Last Epoch is an ARPG, it has that mechanic as well. Many attributes are on the many pieces that can alter gameplay in specific ways. Ward seems to be a common stat, one that can be found on a wide range of gear so rarity doesn't matter. However, it's not properly defined. To learn what Ward is in Last Epoch, dive in below. Last Epoch: What does Ward mean? The best way to describe this attribute is that it goes over your health gauge. Ward acts as a sheild that can be cracked over time. To get Ward, you have to either find gear that has the attribute or generate from skills. The other interesting bit of information is that each class gets a different amount of Ward from gear. So depending on what you are, you may have to work harder to get Ward to protect you. Screenshot: PC Invasion You'll know Ward is in effect when the health circle has a bluish tint over it....

Will you have to restart from the beginning or can you keep your Sons of the Forest saves? Do Sons of the Forest Early Access saves still work? Yes, even after downloading Sons of the Forest 1.0 and updates beyond, your Early Access saves will still work. No, you can't eat raw food and that murky water will indeed kill you at the minimum. Here is how to cure Sickness in Sons of the Forest. Sons of the Forest: How to cure Sickness There are a lot of ways to die in Sons of the Forest. Now, thanks to Sons of the Forest leaving its Early Access stage, there is a new status effect called Sickness that will kill you if left unattended. You will get this effect after either drinking unclean water or eating bad food. Now that's realism! Thankfully, curing Sickness can happen as fast as you acquire it since you will only have to consume clean water or meds. Out of the two of these, I would strongly recommend sticking with the meds. They are easier to get and require fewer steps to collect than making clean water. I know you might think "How can you find meds in the middle of nowhere?". Well, not only you can craft meds with natural resources – combine Yarrow and Aloe Vera -, but you can also find meds in ca...

In Last Epoch, you have the chance to play with other players online, but how does the co-op multiplayer feature work? While some games allow you to see other players roaming the world online, others will only let you join a party of friends that you know. Here's how it works in this action RPG.
