PCGamesN Friday, February 17, 2023 12:23 PM Want to know where the Hogwarts Legacy landing platforms are? With so many hard-to-find collectibles in the game, it's perhaps hard to imagine that there is one relatively simple challenge out there. However, all you need to do to finish this one is land on top of some platforms while riding a broom or a magical creature. The tricky bit is that there are 20 Hogwarts Legacy landing platforms to find in the open-world game, and your reward for landing on all of them is a Quidditch set in the Hogwarts Legacy challenges unlockables. You can track which ones you've visited simply by looking at your Hogwarts Legacy map and seeing which regions still have landing platforms to visit. And yes, all you need to do to mark it off is to land on the platform and wait for the flames around it to ignite. It's as simple as that! We highly recommend you use Floo Flames to get around the map quickly. MORE FROM PCGAMESN: Hogwarts Legacy mods, All Hogwarts Legacy spells, Hogwarts Legacy system requirements |

PCGamesN Friday, February 17, 2023 11:48 AM If the Atomic Heart bosses have got you ill at ease, we don't blame you. Many of Sechenov's robots were built for industrial labour on a large scale, making them capable of taking an axe or shotgun shell to the chassis without pause. Thankfully, Mundfish has shown off a variety of ways to handle them once we're dropped into Facility 3826, but it won't be a walk in the park. While there are plenty of fearsome foes in the retrofuturistic FPS game, Atomic Heart bosses are a cut above the rest. Whether synthetic or organic, these enemies sport robust health bars and devastating abilities that can quickly reduce Atomic Heart protagonist Major P-3 to a bloody pulp. Here are all the Atomic Heart bosses confirmed so far, compiled into one easy list. MORE FROM PCGAMESN: Atomic Heart's hero revealed, Atomic Heart skills, Atomic Heart system requirements |
PCGamesN Friday, February 17, 2023 11:48 AM An Atomic Heart romance may seem unlikely, but don't count it out just yet. Over the course of Atomic Heart's development, Mundfish has dropped multiple breadcrumbs that suggest love is in the air. It's hard to imagine an Atomic Heart romance could fit among the chaos of Soviet absurdism, but that hasn't dampened the fire of fan speculation – especially when it comes to a certain set of synthetic twins. Atomic Heart might be one of the best PC games of this year, so it's no surprise we're getting a little hot under the collar. Here are all the clues we have about the possibility of an Atomic Heart romance, and what it might look like. PCGamesN Friday, February 17, 2023 11:46 AM Want to know how to learn the Hogwarts Legacy unforgivable curses? You can go through the entirety of your wizarding adventure without learning how to cast any of these special curses, so you need to know which quest line to prioritise if you want to become a dark witch or wizard. Unlike some RPG games, you don't have to worry about anyone judging you for using unforgivable curses because Hogwarts Legacy doesn't have a morality meter. This means you're able to cast these Hogwarts Legacy spells without being called out by your fellow students, but you have to live with the knowledge that you're using dangerous and evil magic. If that doesn't bother you, here's what you need to do to unlock Crucio, Imperio, and Avada Kedavra. PCGamesN Friday, February 17, 2023 11:32 AM Want to know how to import your house and wand to Hogwarts Legacy? It's not surprising - our house is important to us witches and wizards, and we don't want to risk getting placed into the wrong one. So how do you determine your house before even loading up the open-world game? First, you need to have a Wizarding World account, and you must have completed your house sorting over there (though if you're not happy with it, you can pick the best Hogwarts Legacy house when you're in-game - same goes for the best wand). Once you've done that, you can link your Wizarding World account to Hogwarts Legacy for a predetermined house and wand, and even an exclusive customisation option. PCGamesN Friday, February 17, 2023 11:23 AM Hogwarts Legacy Revelio pages are one of many collectables in the Harry Potter RPG, and they can be quite confusing. You'll probably find a few as soon as you're let loose around Hogwarts after the intro, and as expected, you need to use Revelio to find them, but how exactly do they work? Revelio pages in Hogwarts Legacy are in the same category as field guide pages and flying pages, but they're also slightly different. You may notice that Revelio pages specifically are tracked in-game, as each one provides a tiny bit of lore about the subject in question, whether it's something like the Great Hall which every Potter fan knows and recognises in the open-world game, or a collection of beehives in a hamlet miles away from the castle. Here's what you need to know about the Hogwarts Legacy Revelio pages. MORE FROM PCGAMESN: Hogwarts Legacy mods, All Hogwarts Legacy spells, Hogwarts Legacy system requirements |

PCGamesN Friday, February 17, 2023 1:05 PM Want to know what the best Hogwarts Legacy brooms and upgrades are? You're likely to get tired of moving around on foot rather quickly in an open-world game with a region as big as this one is. If you are longing to take to the skies, chances are that you still have a fair bit of the story to go before the game allows you to hop onto one of these contraptions, as the proprietor of Spintwitches Sporting Needs, Albie Weekes, is out of town when you first visit Hogsmeade. Even though the Hogwarts Legacy Quidditch season has been unceremoniously cancelled by Hogwarts headmaster Professor Black, one of the many colourful Hogwarts Legacy characters you'll meet in the RPG game, you can still, eventually, buy a decent broom in Hogsmeade. The shop that sells Hogwarts Legacy brooms and upgrades will open after you complete the brooms class with Madam Kogawa, which comes after your first Ancient Magic trial. You'll need a fair bit of cash to afford one, so make sure you're looking through Hogwarts Legacy eyeball chests, selling useless items, and gathering coins on your journey. PCGamesN Friday, February 17, 2023 11:06 AM Want to add the Hogwarts Legacy Phoenix to your creature collection? It's likely the final fantastic beast on your list to catch, and if you've been looking for a den on the map, it's not worth bothering. That's because there's only one of them in the game, and it's very elusive, only showing up after meeting specific requirements. Catching this fabulous Hogwarts Legacy beast is wildly different to every other creature. Rather than hunting it down, you get it as part of a side quest. Given how rare the Phoenix is in the open-world game, your house-elf companion - Deek - is understandably concerned about poachers in the local area, and it's up to you to give it the sanctuary it needs. This one stumped us for quite some time before we got the logic behind it, as it's not immediately obvious what you're supposed to do to open it. Instead, you find this door next to some pillars and a pedestal where you can place the Moonstone. While it's evident that moving the lamps requires one of the more basic Hogwarts Legacy spells - Accio - it's not clear what the solution you're looking for is for this most fiendish of open-world game puzzles. However, upon closer examination of the clues before you, it should become a little clearer what to do; if not, we have the solution to the puzzle. With so many hidden chambers, passageways, and an ever-shifting set of stairs, it's no wonder that there are some deeper secrets hidden within Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. However, a select few of these mysteries actually count towards one of the game's challenges. It's worth noting that you won't be able to solve all of the Hogwarts Legacy secrets until quite late into the game. This is because some rather hefty requirements rely on you learning specific Hogwarts Legacy spells and, in one case, upgrading it by finding all of the Demiguise Statues in the RPG game. Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Friday, February 17, 2023 12:26 PM Quickplay strategy games have always been a thing, but they appear to be gaining in popularity lately. I will probably regret not keeping Ozymandias aside for the traditional "summer strategy game for when your brain is a gas" bit, but the scene is looking healthy enough to chance it. You know that cliché feeling of "just one more turn"? Ozymandias is a bronze age 4X that builds momentum enough to turn that into "just one more game". It is incredibly easy to learn, and despite looking a little dry and number heavy, becomes more effortless, more pleasant the longer you play. It also becomes more clear how much depth there is hidden away in such a light design. It's about proving yourself the most prestigious civilisation, not through total conquest, but by exploiting the lay of the land, and leaning into your strengths. Read more |

Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Friday, February 17, 2023 12:00 PM I like wizards because they're the dramatic combination of powerful, cocky, and a bit dim. Through some quirk of bloodline or destiny, wizards can access impossible forces simply by saying magic words. This does not engender caution. A wizard's not a real wizard until they have accidentally set themselves on fire or unleashed an ancient evil. And if you throw four of this dim demigods together? Well, you get the co-op wizard action of the Magicka games, where freestyling elemental combinations can (and often will) lead you to heal a boss or torch your pal's face. Splendid chaos. Read more |

Kiryu and co. may have moved onto a turn-based future, yet Sakomoto Ryoma and his pals have turned back the clock to an Edo period of brawlin' and chicken betting that's most reminiscent of Yakuza 0, only it's not the roaring 80s but the bloody 1800s. Siliconera Friday, February 17, 2023 2:00 PM Both Jolyne and her Stand Stone Free from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean will join the MegaHouse Look Up figure collection. The company shared a number of MegaHobby Plus 2023 Winter Stage announcements on February 17, 2023. Among them was a first look at the two characters. These are early in development, so they are unpainted prototypes and still need to go through approvals. As is fitting for Jolyne and her Stand, the two figures are sitting in the same pose. Jolyne will wear her iconic outfit. Her face is already painted on the prototype as well. Each one will be just over four inches tall. Their heads will also be able to be posed, so you can adjust the position and angle. Past additions to the Look Up line included characters from Chainsaw Man and Hololive Vtubers like Korone and Okayu. The JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean Jolyne and Stone Free Stand Look Up figures are in development. There's no release window for either one yet. Siliconera Friday, February 17, 2023 1:00 PM Players who have not yet downloaded the Valentine's Day event update patch for the Japanese version of Fate/Grand Order will need to make sure their phone has enough space. After the download, the app will take up 15 GB in your phone. Once you start the story, the data should download onto your phone. As a reminder, all of the Valentine's Day Servant events will be voiced. Some Servants will require you to have finished their corresponding story arcs before you can view their event. For example, you cannot receive Oberon's gift without completing the British Lostbelt, nor can you fully see Douman's event unless you have finished Heian-kyo. Servants you give the Blessed Chocolate to will get an attack bonus during the event. For 2023, the Valentine's Day Servant is Pope Joan, or Johanna. She appears in the commercial for the Fate/Grand Order Valentine's Day event. You can view the commercial here, though it does contain some spoilers for the Lostbelt chapters: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXRVY21_4_I&t=5s As for Pope Johanna's skills, she is an Arts-based attacker. Her skills focus on increasing her NP gauge, improving her Arts performance, as well as increasing her Critical Stars and Strength on Arts attacks. Her Noble Phantasm attacks all enemies and nullifies their buffs. It also deals more damage to Evil enemies (and Human ones when Overcharged). Johanna will only be in the gacha for a limited time. Siliconera Friday, February 17, 2023 11:00 AM There's a new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet patch on the way, and once applied it adds more options for players' Pokemon Boxes. Namely, you'll be able to do things like rename Pokemon or adjust their item from boxes. A number of issues will also be addressed via bug fixes. This update is scheduled to appear in "late" February 2023. Prior to the update, people needed to add Pokemon to their party in order to make certain adjustments. For example, if you wanted to change the held item, you'd need to take a character from your Pokemon Boxes, then move them to your active party in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, leave that menu, and go to the main menu to make changes. The same went for changing their nicknames, altering their move set, or using a TM to teach them a new ability. There will also be new Battle Team indicators when looking at Pokemon Boxes and selection options. A number of Tera Raid issues are also repaired. Some of these dealt with the opposing Pokemon's health not being accurately reduced or all allies fainting even though they still had health and should be alive. Here are the full Pokemon Scarlet and Violet 1.2.0 patch notes from Nintendo Support. Additional functionality will be added for Pokémon Boxes: - From a Pokémon's summary, players will be able to change Pokémon's nicknames, markings, held items, and mark- or Ribbon-related titles, as well as being able to reorder moves, have Pokémon remember moves, have Pokémon forget moves, and use TMs.
- Players will be able to swap out held items by pressing the Y Button when in the Held Items view.
- Players will be able to select All Boxes while moving Pokémon or items in the Party and Boxes view and Held Items view.
- When in the Battle Team view, Pokémon in your Boxes that are assigned to a Battle Team will now have their icons displayed in a darker hue if those Pokémon are members of the Battle Team that is currently being displayed.
-
The News screen will be displayed when you connect to the internet from the main menu, just as it is when connecting to the internet from the Poké Portal. Bug Fixes Tera Raid Battles - A bug that can prevent an opposing Tera Pokémon's HP gauge from properly reflecting damage done by certain moves (such as Play Rough) or certain status conditions may occur in Tera Raid Battles, resulting in the Tera Pokémon's HP gauge fluctuating in an unusual manner. This will be fixed.
- A bug that causes all Pokémon on your side to faint at once despite their HP gauges indicating that they still have HP may occur in black crystal Tera Raid Battles against Pokémon with the Mightiest Mark. This will be fixed.
- A bug that can temporarily prevent a player from entering any input into the game may occur if a Tera Pokémon takes certain actions while the player is choosing the target of their move. This will be fixed.
- A bug that causes a communication error may occur when someone connecting to a Tera Raid Battle sees a different Pokémon displayed on their screen than what the host sees. This will be fixed.
- A bug may occur that causes players joining a Tera Raid Battle from the Tera Raid Battles search screen to be brought to a Tera Raid Battle against a Pokémon different from the one they saw displayed. This will be fixed.
- A bug that causes Tera Raid Battle crystals to not appear for a set amount of time may occur under certain circumstances. This will be fixed.
Battles - Type matchups against Pokémon that have fainted will no longer appear when selecting a move or target during Double Battles.
- A Zoroark that has Terastallized and is disguised as another Pokémon via its Illusion Ability can be identified as a Zoroark by using the Check Target option. This is a bug and will be fixed.
- When a Zoroark has Terastallized and is disguised as another Pokémon via its Illusion Ability, the type matchups of moves are displayed based on the type of the Pokémon that Zoroark is disguised as, rather than Zoroark's Tera Type. This is a bug and will be fixed.
- The stats of a Dondozo with a Tatsugiri in its mouth will increase when Dondozo uses Order Up, even when the move should have been negated (for example, by an opponent using Protect). This is a bug and will be fixed.
- If a Pokémon Terastallizes after using Destiny Bond and then faints, the effects of Destiny Bond will fail to activate. This is a bug and will be fixed.
Other - We will address an issue that can cause the game to forcibly close at certain locations. As a result of this fix, there may be a reduction of Pokémon and people displayed in certain towns or in the wild.
- When a Pokémon that is not a part of the Paldea Pokédex is obtained through a Link Trade, it is displayed as being registered to the Paldea Pokédex. This is a bug and will be fixed.
- Certain actions can cause the main character's expressions to not change until the game is closed and reopened. This will be fixed.
- A bug occurred for some players after Ranked Battles Season 1, wherein visiting the Ranked Battles screen immediately after the season's results had been calculated caused a communication error right after these players received their rewards. Following this error, players were unable to participate in any further Ranked Battles. This will be fixed.
- If a player has created several Battle Teams but does not use the Battle Team in the first slot for their Ranked Battles, they may not receive the Master Rank Ribbon after winning Ranked Battles in the Master Ball Tier. This will be fixed.
- When a Pokémon you caught comes back to you from another player through Link Trade, it may not listen to your commands in accordance with what is written in the profile app ("Pokémon caught at Lv. XX or below will listen to your commands"). This will be fixed.
- A bug is preventing the Pokédex from displaying additional entries (such as entries for Shiny Pokémon or Pokémon that were received through Surprise Trade from players that play in a different language) for Pokémon species that were already registered in the Pokédex. This will be fixed.
- Objects such as Poké Balls may be displayed in certain locations of the field unintentionally. This will be fixed.
- Passersby will no longer be displayed during certain battles that take place in towns during the main story.
- Other select bug fixes will be implemented.
Notes: - We are planning further features and bug fixes not listed in these patch notes. Please check back here for full details when the update data is distributed.

Siliconera Friday, February 17, 2023 10:30 AM A collaboration event for Goddess of Victory: Nikke and Chainsaw Man begins soon, and official accounts for the anime shared information about the Nikke x Chainsaw Man crossover characters. As previously announced, the event will involve members of Chainsaw Man's Public Safety Devil Hunters unit and add Makima, Power, and Himeno as playable characters. Aki Hayakawa and Denji are also involved in the event, but won't be playable. The Nikke Chainsaw Man crossover "Bullet x Chainsaw" launches on February 22, 2023. Shift Up began promoting the Nikke Chainsaw Man crossover with a preview of poster art for the event featuring Denji in his Chainsaw Man form. It also shared banner art of Power and Makima, as well as combat sprites for Himeno and Power. Power and Makima will be obtainable on the gacha Recruitment banner, and are of Limited status, meaning they won't be available to recruit when the event ends. [gallery columns="5" size="medium" link="file" ids="951633,951632,951631,951630,951702"] Via a tweet, Shift Up also shared a preview of Himeno and Power's appearance in cutscenes. Cutscene sprites are animated using Live2D, and the clip features voice actors Mariya Ise and Fairouz Ai playing Himeno and Power, as they did in the Chainsaw Man anime. Himeno will be freely obtainable through participation in the event, and wields the "Ghost Sight" sniper rifle weapon. Here's Himeno's Live2D preview. https://twitter.com/NIKKE_en/status/1626144435212894209?s=20 And here's Power's. https://twitter.com/NIKKE_en/status/1626506805349175296?s=20 Notably, the Tweet also lists the Devil Hunter characters' "Manufacturer." Nikke characters are all cyborgs created by one of four in-game factions (Elysion, Missilis, Tetra Line, and the Pilgrims). "Abnormal" could be a fifth faction, or a reference to the fact that Chainsaw Man characters aren't affiliated with any in-game Nikke faction. Another preview image for the crossover dropped more hints about the playable Nikke Chainsaw Man crossover characters, and how players will be able to use them in their existing squads. The paper notes beside each character's photo indicate their classification and traits, which are important for fitting them into a Nikke squad. - Himeno is a wind-element SR-rarity unit, wielding a Sniper Rifle, with a Level 2 Burst Skill. She's classified as a Support-type unit, as well.
- Power is a fire-element SSR unit that uses a launcher that looks like the head of her Blood Fiend form. She's an Attacker-type with a Level 3 Burst Skill.
- Makima is a water-element SSR wielding a Submachine Gun. She's typed as a Defender, with a Level 2 Burst Skill.
The Nikke Chainsaw Man crossover event launches on February 22, 2023. The game is available on iOS, Android, and PC. A pre-launch login campaign is ongoing, rewarding players who log into the game with recruitment tickets and other bonuses. Siliconera Friday, February 17, 2023 10:00 AM Like a Dragon: Ishin! is the latest farming simulation from retro game compilation developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. In it, you'll play as the familiar-looking Ryoma and rebuild a farm and become a father figure to orphan Haruka. There's also some other things like fights and intrigue, we guess? Read on for our full breakdown. Confused by Ishin? That's totally understandable. As Sega continues its unenviable effort of trying to rebrand the Yakuza franchise in the West to its original Japanese name, that's going to happen, and doing so with a game in a different time and setting compounds the problem. (After all, the Story of Seasons team is still dealing with lingering Harvest Moon confusion!) What you need to know? Yep, it's the same franchise, and reverting to the original name makes a lot more sense when many of the games have much less of a focus on organized crime. Ishin is, despite making its Western debut, a remake of a 2014 game with the same general premise and gameplay. Much like the Kiwami releases, this one has seen updates to accompany the remaster, including a move to Unreal Engine 4. This has a number of effects on players' experience! It looks nice, clearly. It suffers, though, from some of the same problems as 60-frame-per-second films. There's a lot of detail and great lighting, but with environments that aren't as cluttered as the modern-day titles, things end up feeling more like a movie set or theme park than a real place as their artifice is more noticeable in higher definition. Ishin also suffers from a number of technical issues. The franchise's tactical reuse of withered technology brought with it some of its own problems in the past, but here we saw some different pain points. Sometimes, menu selections just didn't load and you could still choose blindly to continue but it wasn't ideal. Playing for a long time at once (which, surprise, we review folk have to do a lot) led to some serious slowdown when loading a scripted sequence or talking to a vendor. It's tolerable, and we bet RGG Studio can patch many of these issues! But you should know about them going in. It always takes a bit for a Ryu Ga Gotoku game to open up and get good, and Ishin is no exception. The early hours are a slog that tries to get you invested in the story, and we find this to be way less effective than the open parts that let you opt in to the main narrative when you feel like it. And hey, by doing some of the side activities, like becoming a samurai cop and exposing your mentor's killer, you can unlock cool upgrades for your farm! You'll definitely need to bring along some patience or tolerance for tedium to deal with some of Like a Dragon: Ishin's substories. One has you listening to very long stories from a talkative lady and answering questions to make sure you paid attention. One has you chop a bunch of logs over and over. Perhaps the most egregious? Ones that make you keep performing the same fetch quests over and over. There's a kid who loves vegetables, and he's endearing! But the number of times you have to push through the same prompts to hand him a veggie? Too high. Similar is the battered defender, who just needs you to stuff his gullet with medicine about 50 times. Still, in some of these substories lies the true charm of the franchise. Ishin even includes a story explanation for why you can find items in pots and why it's totally fine to take them. Just in case you want to take a break from the clear core gameplay here of farming just outside of town with your best pal Haruka — and we don't know why you would — it's good to get acquainted with the combat system! You can switch between four styles at almost any time. The fist-fighting of Brawler wasn't our taste, but you do end up using it when you're surprised without your weapons handy. Swordsman style is probably what you'd expect to see most in a throwback setting, and we found it most useful for one-on-one boss-battle standoffs. Gunman lets you just shoot with reckless abandon, and we used it a lot on low-level fights to finish them before foes even got close. But let's use the luxury and prestige of a paragraph break to wax a bit about Wild Dancer. The fourth combat style is our go-to favorite, and works in so many settings. Sure, using a firearm and a sword at the same time is cool, but what makes Wild Dancer so good is its dodge. Ryoma spins and avoids almost any attack, even at close range, as long as you're paying attention. It's definitely the one to use against a pack of fighters, but we — admittedly action game amateurs — ran through boss fights untouched in ways we just haven't been able to manage in other similar games. Wild Dancer? It gets our seal of approval. Accompanying all of these styles is the new Trooper Card system. You can equip extra effects, like special attacks and healing, and upgrade these cards a lot like a gacha mobile game. We found the effects helpful enough without micromanaging too much, and in the pre-release review period, we couldn't address how broken those DLC cards might be. So if the system puts you off, it's probably fine to not mess with them too much and enjoy some minor health regeneration or whatever else shows up by default. Like a Dragon: Ishin! uses the likeness and mannerisms of fictional protagonist Kiryu Kazuma to play real historical figure Sakamoto Ryoma as he pretends to be a man named Saito Hajime. It's exactly as confusing as it sounds for both newcomers and returning fans. It's fun to see familiar faces play the roles of characters in the adventure, but you may need to take notes or check the relationship chart in the menu often. There's even a "Dragon of Dojima" skin for the protagonist, and equipping it makes things even more confusing. There are a lot of references to real-life history in Ishin that for sure won't land with a Western audience, but we're glad it's there for the curious. Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and Sega even implemented a helpful contextual glossary, defining specific terms of the region and era. It's totally unobtrusive, but when you want some clarity, you can hit the button in the middle of dialogue. With the old faces playing these roles, its story feels more like a stage play than ever. And we're no experts, but we get the feeling that the game approaches adherence to history similarly. Many characters have names of real-life people, and those names usually do have something to do with how they're portrayed. But, and we're sure you didn't need us to tell you this, please don't use this as a serious educational tool. The localization adds a few chuckles, especially when using modern phrasing in this old-timey context. But it works well with the rest of the game's strange juxtapositions. At its best when its focus is divided, Like a Dragon: Ishin! is a fun Bakumatsu sandbox. It doesn't have the engrossing standout minigame like the cabaret or business management challenges of previous titles, and its time period means it also doesn't pack a fun arcade. But its jack-of-all-trades approach still resonates. Like a Dragon: Ishin! launches February 21, 2023 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox. It's developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega. Deluxe pre-orders include early access for players, allowing them to start playing on February 17, 2023. Siliconera Friday, February 17, 2023 9:30 AM Among Pokemon, Wailord is among the largest. According to its Pokedex entry, it measures nearly 14.5 meters (47 feet) in length, larger than even real-life blue whales. Unlike with the life-size Lucario, though, The Pokemon Company, has opted for a more manageable scale for its Pokemon Wailord plush toy. The Pokemon Wailord plush is, sizing aside, a rendition of the massive cetacean Pokemon. It appears much as it did in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire on the Game Boy Advance. The Wailord plush measures at 1/10th scale of the real one, making it roughly 1.45 meters in length (about 4 feet and 9 inches). It weighs 6.5 kilograms (about 14 lbs). The Pokemon Wailord plush is available from the Pokemon Center online store in Japan. Pre-orders are open through March 13, 2023, and orders will ship out in August 2023. The plush will cost 49,500 Yen to purchase (about $367 USD). The official Pokemon account also tweeted some pictures of the Wailord plush in everyday situations, to help fans imagine themselves possessing their own. [gallery columns="4" size="medium" ids="951655,951656,951657,951658" link="file"] Wailord is one of the largest Pokemon in the franchise. Known as "Whaloh" in Japanese, it evolves from the Wailmer, which is much smaller at about 2 meters (6 feet) tall. Much like a real-life whale, it eats food while swimming, and is able to leap out of the water to make tremendous splashes. On a single breath, it can dive close to 10,000 feet (about 3 kilometers). The Wailord Plush is available for pre-order until March 13, 2023 in Japan. Wailord itself appeared in Pokemon games Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, as well as their 3DS-based remakes, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Siliconera Friday, February 17, 2023 9:00 AM It seems people interested in buying a FFXIV Fan Festival 2023 ticket won't be guaranteed to get one, as Square Enix announced there will be a lottery. Rather than outright buying one for the Las Vegas, Nevada event, active players can apply for a chance to buy one and attend. People can sign up for a chance to get one between February 17-25, 2023. Those picked can purchase one between March 6-13, 2023. General sales will open after that. Here's how it will all work. The Player-Exclusive Ticket Purchase Application for FFXIV Fan Festival 2023 is now open online. Someone must have an active North American Square Enix account and game subscription to register there. If they are picked, an access code will be sent to their email on March 3, 2023. Then, on March 6, 2023, they can head to Showclix to purchase up to two tickets for $199.99 each for the event. That will get you in for both days and a goody bag. If any tickets are left after the FFXIV Fan Festival 2023 player lottery ends, then there will be a General Sales Period. There's no end-date for that, should it happen. However, there will still be a two-ticket limit on purchases. Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. The FFXIV Fan Festival will be held July 28-29, 2023. The Player-Exclusive Ticket Purchase Application lottery is open now, ahead of sales running February 17-25, 2023. Siliconera Friday, February 17, 2023 8:30 AM Part 9 of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, The JOJOLands, started on February 17, 2023 in Ultra Jump. Because of this, we also know some more information about the titular JoJo, as well as his quest. Jodio Joestar is the name of the JoJo in The JOJOLands and the story centers on how he became a filthy rich millionaire. However, the mechanism he used to achieve that was rather unconventional. As a warning, the first chapter of The JOJOLands does have a scene of a cop sexually assaulting a character. The JOJOLands takes place in Oahu, Hawaii some time around 2021. Even in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure universe, COVID-19 exists. Stands will still be the main power system in The JOJOLands, and we get a glimpse of three of the main characters'. Again, all of the Stand names are song references. We also get a quick overview of Jodio Joestar and his past, as well as his family structure, in the first chapter. It seems that Jodio's story will be similar to Giorno's in Golden Wind. As a reminder, Giorno was the protagonist of Vento Aureo, which was Part 5. Giorno wanted to be the leader of the local gang (a gang star, to be more precise), and what started as a normal escort mission soon became something bigger than that. The JOJOLands has started serialization in Ultra Jump. It is unclear when the official English version for it will come out.
