Seiko announced a new collaboration with Capcom that will result in the release of Monster Hunter watches inspired by the Alatreon, Velkhana, Mizutsune, and Nargacuga monsters. The new watches will cost 59,800 yen (or approximately $405), and each model will be limited to 2,000 units. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
The watches will come packaged in their own unique special box featuring motifs and designs from each monster. The website for the new Monster Hunter items is not available yet, and more information about the pre-order and release date for the new collaboration watches will be available at a later date. The release of the watches was announced as part of the ongoing celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Monster Hunter series.
Seiko released another collaboration for the 15th anniversary of the Monster Hunter series back in 2019. The previous collection featured three watch models inspired by the Zinogre, the Rathalos, and the Nergigante. Other recent Seiko collaborations include a recent One Piece watch inspired by Luffy Gear 5, a Cinnamoroll watch, and a watch inspired by Optimus Prime from Transformers.
The new Monster Hunter Seiko watches are available in Alatreon, Velkhana, Mizutsune, and Nargacuga models. Each one costs 59,800 yen (~$405), and they will be limited to 2,000 units each.

Uniqlo Japan announced the release of a new collection of Star Wars vintage t-shirts inspired by the original movie trilogy and Episode I. There are six new shirts, each one costs 1,990 yen (or about $13.48), and the collection is set to release in early May 2024 in Japan.
Seeing how many Uniqlo collaboration t-shirts have appeared outside of Japan, it is likely that this new collection will also make its way overseas at some time in the future. Artist Kosuke Kawamura created the designs for the new collection, and used posters and original art from Star Wars Episodes I, IV, V, and VI as inspiration. Once the t-shirts go on sale, they will be available in sizes XS to 4XL.

The Naruto Shippuden t-shirt and sweatshirt line is the latest Uniqlo collection to come out in North America. In addition, Uniqlo announced in late February 2024 that a new series of Capcom t-shirts will appear in Japan on March 25, 2024.

During a recent interview with Famitsu, FFXIV Producer Naoki Yoshida (or Yoshi-P) talked with Shota Shimoda about their work in Square Enix and his experience joining development for A Realm Reborn. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
Shota Shimoda is a founding member of WFS, and former Square Enix planner and director that worked alongside Yoshi-P, and currently oversees development of Heaven Burns Red.
Yoshi-P said that when he became involved with FFXIV A Realm Reborn he didn't want to be pigeonholed into a single role, and decided to take a very hands-on approach in order to avoid the team from becoming too vertically divided. He also said he didn't feel old enough to be put in a position to solely rely on the work of others. The developer added that it was this "hands-on" mentality that allowed him to make it throughout as producer and director for FFXIV.
Shimoda also revealed that during the change in leadership for FFXIV, composer and sound engineer Masayoshi Soken was thinking of leaving Square Enix, and Yoshi-P confirmed that it was thanks to Shimoda putting both developers in contact that Soken remained attached to the project. Yoshi-P said that although Shimoda didn't work together with him on FFXIV, his contribution was integral to FFXIV.
Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC, with the Xbox Series X version launching on March 21, 2024. The new Dawntrail expansion will arrive in the Summer of 2024, and more news on it will appear at PAX East 2024.

Cover will add temporary content related to Hololive Super Expo 2024 into Holoearth. The items will appear after the maintenance on March 13, 2024. However, they will only be available until the Spring 2024 update.
One of the main highlights of this update will be the addition of the blue Hololive Expo 2024 shirt. All players will be able to have their avatars wear the same aloha shirt used by Hololive and Holostars Vtubers in the expo's key visuals.
Cover will set up the theater area so that people can watch most of the expo's streams, which will also be broadcast on the Hololive YouTube channel on March 16-17, 2024. It will also add an acrylic panel featuring Holoearth's key visual and a floor mat with the metaverse game's logo as free temporary furniture.
Holoearth has been available since its public beta version launched in November 2022. Since then, the development team has gradually added more features to the PC metaverse game. A major update in 2023 added microtransactions that let people convert real money to Holocoins to purchase premium stickers and live event items.
Holoearth is available to access via a beta release on Windows PCs. The new content related to Hololive Super Expo 2024 will be available in Holoearth from March 13, 2024, until the next update patch in Spring 2024.

Good Smile Company announced that it is restocking its Pop Up Parade figures of the Hololive Vtubers Houshou Marine and Usada Pekora. The company opened pre-orders for the new figure batches on its website. Both figures will cost ￥5,500 / $49.99.
The company initially revealed these static figures in 2022. Pekora's Pop Up Parade figure came out first in June 2022, and Marine's figure followed suit in September 2022. The figures' restocking also considers the fact that Marine and Pekora are hugely popular Vtubers. As of March 2024, Marine is the second most-followed Hololive Vtuber after Gawr Gura with over 3 million subscribers recorded on her YouTube channel. Pekora stands at third place with her subscriber count getting ever closer to 2.5 million.
People residing in the US and Canada can also get discounts on the figures exclusively on Good Smile Online Shop U.S. Pekora's figure is available with a 30% discount at $34.99. Marine's figure has an even bigger discount with 40% off at $29.99.
Good Smile Company will close the new pre-order batches for the restocked Pop Up Parade figures of Hololive's Houshou Marine and Usada Pekora on April 10, 2024. It will ship the newly produced figures in August 2024.

The Animal Crossing Lego sets are available worldwide and, well, they look like the bits and pieces you'll see around the village in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. However, after building the Isabelle's House Visit set, which includes Isabelle and Fauna minifigs and a small house inspired by the neighbor cottages, I can't help but feel like this is a series in which the optimal conditions involve clearing off a whole shelf for your new "town" and buying a whole village.
So the first thing to note is that the Animal Crossing sets feature all the quality of life features you'd expect from recent Lego releases. That means when you open the box, pieces are organized into bags by the order you'll need them. The color manual is very clear about putting things together. There will occasionally be one or two spare parts, such as extra flowers that can be attached to Isabelle's head as a decoration. So the building experience itself is quite relaxed and approachable. Especially since this is only a 389 piece set. It isn't too taxing.
The thing I noticed and appreciated as I started my build is how customizable it is designed to be. There's a modular nature to the base, and it comes with vegetable garden and a space with a tree designed to be repositioned wherever someone might like. All furniture elements are created in such a way that they can be put anywhere, with circular bases for most that make them easy to lift up and attach at particular spots. Two types of window frames are provided, though I personally preferred the brown ones that matched the trim of the house instead of the blue ones that… match the balloon on the floating present?
It really feels like a sort of set to encourage creativity. For example, multiple baked goods appear for the kitchen table and oven, so you can decide what treats appear or if the minifigs are holding them. There are lots of extra flower parts, so I applied them to the ground as extra decorations. I put the included plant in the window and took one of the top tiers of it off, rather than have it on the floor in the home. There's a bit of nuance that I appreciated. The fact that you can hide bells in the tree's leaves, there are moving parts like the mailbox door, and a number of "accessories" makes me feel like it's really designed to be played with and used, instead of just some display.
However, it could be just me, but it also makes me feel like all that customization could be the Animal Crossing Lego sets' undoing. I am very happy with Isabelle's House Visit. It's great. It's cute. I appreciate how it all looks, and it is definitely keeping the spirit of the series. But when I was done, I definitely wanted more possibilities for arrangements. Including three land parts, one of which is designed to be used as a walkway, doesn't really feel like enough. It makes me feel like the Bunnie's Outdoor Activities area is needed to connect in and offer more context and space, or the Nook's Cranny and Rosie's House to put together a small town square.
But then, perhaps that is an indicator of the success of the Animal Crossing Lego sets in general? It is fostering a platform to build up a little town of your own in real-life. I mean, I have the instructions, and the parts used for Fauna's house in this Isabelle's House Visit set aren't terribly unique or complicated. It'd be easy to pick up some piecemeal ones from a Lego store or set and cobble together additional homes following that pattern. I'm already eying up a Bunnie's Outdoor Activities or Kapp'n's Island Boat tour as possible secondary purchase options, as I could use the one to expand onto the forest part or the other to add a beach in front of Fauna's house.

As part of the Monster Hunter 20th Anniversary Showcase, the Hunter's Choice popularity poll revealed the top 10 monsters as voted by players. It turns out Zinogre was named the most loved monster in the series.
Here is the full list of the top 10 monsters in the Monster Hunter Hunter's Choice popularity poll, out of the 229 we could vote for, in order. While the top 10 were revealed during the showcase, the ones in spots 11 through 20 ended up revealed on social media.
