How long is Evil West? Given that 50+ hour games are the trend at the moment - and have been for quite some time - you may be wondering how long you'll be spending in this vampire-slaying steampunk third-person shooter. If you're a fan of shorter action-adventure games that don't take themselves too seriously, packed with monsters to explode in a shower of blood, then Evil West may be the gunslinging adventure for you.
Evil West has 16 missions that will take roughly 10-15 hours to complete. The game's structure features a linear set of missions filled with treasures off the beaten track (including the Evil West unique chests) and arenas where you duel against vampires, their cowboy thralls, and other wicked creatures of the night. If that sounds good, but you'd like to learn a lot more, we have an Evil West preview that goes into more detail about what you can expect to find in the western game.Best Western games on PC, Best action-adventure games on PC, Best vampire games on PC

Looking for all of those pesky Evil West unique chests? You can find these treasure troves throughout the campaign, tucked away in nooks behind explosives or on platforms you need to shoot down chains to reach. These chests mostly contain skins to change your appearance, but you can also obtain new perks and upgrades.
If you miss any Evil West unique chests, it's not the end of the world. Head into the Lore section of the pause menu at any time and go to the tab with the exclamation point. Select the mission from the list below. You'll start again from The Calico or the beginning of the level. You can either select 'return to main progress' from the same menu or finish the mission to warp back to where you left off in the action-adventure game.Best Western games on PC, Best action-adventure games on PC, Best vampire games on PC

You'll be wondering whether Evil West crossplay is a thing if you're keen on playing the gunslinging, vampire-slaying adventure in co-op across different platforms. This feature appears most frequently in higher-budget titles, but occasionally you see this oft-requested feature in smaller-scale games.
If you have read our Evil West preview, you'll know that this is a combat-focused game set in a twisted version of the wild west. Vampires roam the land, waiting to have their arms burst from a well-placed gunshot or homunculi rushing towards you, gushing crimson like a water fountain display whenever you land a punch. If you want a great LMG then our best Warzone 2 556 Icarus loadout is great for the longer ranges of Al Mazrah. In its base form, the 556 Icarus boasts relatively stable recoil, a very fast rate of fire and a decent ammo count, but it can struggle as soon as you start taking on long-range fights.
Our Warzone 2 556 Icarus build extends the effective damage range to make this the best Warzone 2 LMG it can be, while also working to improve the recoil control and stabilisation as much as possible. The result is a gun that can hose enemies all the way up to sniper distances on the Warzone 2 map. The best Warzone 2 RAAL MG loadout gives you immense damage over range and is easily one of the best guns in the battle royale game right now. The RAAL MG has a two shot kill potential at any distance, and zero recoil after the first five shots fired. It is, however, very heavy, with a slow ADS speed.
Here's how to negate those negatives to make the RAAL MG the best Warzone 2 LMG it can be. It's a 12-player crazy golf game that dials up the crazy, and as we soon found back in those pre-vaccine days, one that reaches a whole other level of club-and-ball chaos with a single settings tweak.
See, with ball collision switched off, Golf With Your Friends is pretty fun. The courses are oversized and fantastical, and because everyone's balls are in play at the same time, you get all the light-hearted competition of a real putting contest without waiting for the person in front to take their turn. Battle royales can be very confusing, what with all the running and gunning. What if you could just lie there and let the weapons deal with all that shooting hassle by themselves? One Warzone 2 player happened across exactly that scenario, but it didn't do them much good. Appearances can be deceiving though, so it's not entirely clear how a gun can start shooting itself. It's great when puzzle games do something like Unpacking and bring daily life into solving problems, and A Little to the Left is the latest to adopt that atmosphere. The goal in each of its over 75 stages is to tidy up. Put things that belong together in the same box. Organize items by size. Get settled. It's calming… that is, until it throws a series of tedious or frustrating stages at you.
The premise in A Little to the Left is that it feels like, at least initially, you're cleaning up around the house. Stages tend to involve household or recognizable items that are askew. It's up to you to look at what is in front of you, then determine the way they should be arranged.
Generally, it's a fairly clear process. When a stage begins, you'll see objects ahead of you. They all follow some sort of theme. Your goal is to see what connects them and allows you to put them together in an orderly fashion. Maybe that means following patterns. It could involve checking statuses and sizes. Clearing things away can come into play. There is a place for everything, and A Little to the Left is about finding that. You need to go through them in order, as picking a specific level doesn't let you skip ahead to later chapters. But once you do unlock one, you can return to play it again or perhaps try to find an occasional extra solution. There are also some daily puzzles to challenge. If someone has an issue, you can ask for a hint for help. There's also no penalty to "let it be" and skip that stage. No scores, timers, or penalties are looming over you.
However, there is a cat. An often unseen feline stalks you in A Little to the Left, watching (and maybe judging) your progress through the puzzle game. It won't make its presence known in every level, but it can pop up. When it does, it will sweep away items, ruining your work. Though sometimes, the cat isn't even a villain. It's an anti-hero scattering items so you could see, "Hey! There's another stamp under that stack!" It's a novel mechanic that sets the game apart, adding to the ambiance.
As part of its aesthetic, A Little to the Left doesn't involve any text. Unless you go into the menu to ask for a hint or "leave it be" to advance to the next puzzle, everything will be wordless. It's great for accessibility, but also sometimes hurts it. Many puzzles are obvious. If you get items of certain sizes or colors, you know they'd need to be put in order or grouped together. Objectives aren't always that clear, though! Even the hints involve wordless pictures, which can occasionally obscure solutions. For example, nothing tells you that accents like pencil shavings are movable and considered "clutter." Which means "removing" them by dragging them off-screen is necessary. Except you might not realize that for minutes. It feels like a forced obtuseness. It's generally a lot of fun and soothing, but that makes the times when it gets a little too rudimentary or out there stand out.
For example, I found the reliance on faint tones or precise positioning to both be a little frustrating. It's another quirk that keeps A Little to the Left from being a truly accessible puzzle game. When an item gets into a possibly correct place or position, there will be a slight chime. If the volume isn't turned up high enough — or someone has hearing problems — you can miss it. Given there are puzzles in which getting the position exact matters, it can be an issue! It's even worse when you get a puzzle like the one involving the cartons and containers at the end of chapter two. You can put them in the right places, but if it isn't exact, it won't register as correct.
Another thing about A Little to the Left is that it ranges from no-thought-required levels to ones that might initially seem unfathomable. The first three chapters tend to be incredibly obvious, to the point at which you're just moving a few blatant pieces around. Then, once you are about to head into the fourth chapter, things pick up. That's when it gets to the point where if a puzzle is challenging, A Little to the Left can really feel like you're searching for one obscure solution. (Even a few chapter three puzzles near the end left me flummoxed.) Also, while an occasional puzzle will offer two or three options, it doesn't feel as freeform as the premise proclaimed.
A Little to the Left is a good puzzle game to play when you need to take a moment to sort things out. It lets you take a moment to calmly organize things, perhaps tidying up your thoughts. I do wish its levels felt a bit more balanced. There are absolutely tasks that feel like rote behavior, as well as a few puzzles with solutions that might not seem to make sense. At least there's always the option to "let it be" and move on.

NetEase announced a new upcoming crossover between its asymmetrical PvP game Identity V and the classic horror game Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly. Two costumes will be available in the shop starting on November 24, 2022. Players will be able to get outfits of Sae Kurosawa and Mio Amakura.
[gallery columns="2" ids="940785,940786" link="file"]
Geisha will get the Sae Kurosawa skin, and Perfumer will have the Mio Amakura skin. This is likely due to lore reasons, as Geisha is the spirit of a deceased Japanese female, similar to the ghosts you encounter in Fatal Frame. Twins are a key part of the story in Fatal Frame 2, and Perfumer's backstory deals with her complex surrounding her twin sister.
You can watch the trailers for the Identity V and Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly crossover here:
When wearing the Mio Amakura outfit, Perfumer's Euphoria effect will change to resemble camera lens. This is a reference to the Camera Obscura, which is your only weapon in the Fatal Frame series. As for Geisha, a red butterfly appears on her face when she is in her Prajna form.
Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly is a survival horror game that originally came out for the PS2 in 2003. The story follows twin sisters Mio and Mayu Amakura. After Mayu follows a crimson butterfly into an abandoned village that is full of spirits, Mio must try to guide them out. As they do so, they uncover the village's bloody past.
Identity V is readily available on Windows PC and mobile devices. The Bungou Stray Dogs event is currently underway. Players can get a free Ranpo Edogawa skin for Painter, as well as purchase the Atsushi skin for Mercenary and Dazai skin for "Prisoner."

Shonen Jump is adding four new manga series to its roster in Japan, and Cipher Academy is the latest one. The first chapter in NISIOISIN and Yuji Iwasaki's series debuted over the weekend. It also is available in English via Manga Plus and Viz Media.
The Cipher Academy manga features the titular school. It's a place in Japan designed to help students learn how to crack codes ahead of possible wars. In addition to ordinary classes, each student will need to learn how to decipher all sorts of codes. Iroha Irohazaka is one of the few boys at the school. After meeting Kogoe Horagatoge, Kogue gives him a pair of glasses after he helps her elude some other students chasing her. However, these are special glasses, and wearing them gives him an edge when looking at puzzles and codes. After a challenge comes up involving Kyora Toshusai and her henchwomen Yukako Omomuro and Tayu Yugata, Iroha learns more about the glasses and the young woman who gave them to him.
This is the second of the four new manga series joining Shonen Jump. The first one to appear was The Ichinose Family's Deadly Sins. Another My Time at Sandrock update will arrive on November 24, 2022, and it seems to bring with it more characters' stories. For example, there seems to be hints at storylines involving Fang, as well as Rocky and his family. A new trailer also teases some of the new locations, boss fights, and other additions. Some past characters will show up as well, as it is called Hey Old Pals.
Things begin with a peek at a broken bridge. From there, we see a number of the villagers meeting to presumably go over things happening as of late. The player joins the meeting, which already involves Dan-bi, Fang, Krystal, Pebbles, Rian, Rocky, and Trudy. (There's no text in the trailer mentioning what they may be discussing.) Another group heads to a wall, which started caving in. After that, a canyon is shown and seems to be polluted. There's a green haze over everything. Some mouse-like characters seem to be scrounging for scraps. It's followed by some scenes involving Rocky and his family, with Krystal being confronted by some unseen individual. Also notable is the appearance of what looks to be a mouse queen at the 43 second mark.
There are also some moments with characters who are love interests in My Time at Sandrock. We see one scene with the player interacting with a possibly exhausted or ill Amirah. Arvio seems to be upset in another. Qi is disheveled (and green) in another scene. Also, things close out with the player character hugging Fang.
