Some more information has come out about Persona 5: The Phantom X, including a second beta test, a new playable character (Shun Kanou), and Wonder's Japanese voice actor. You will be able to see it all in the new trailer. The second beta test for the game will start in Q3 2023. Pre-registration is open, but it's still unclear when to expect the final version of the game. For starters, Koki Uchiyama will voice Wonder, the main protagonist, in Persona 5: The Phantom X. Uchiyama has had a long and prolific career since his childhood. Aside from appearing as Roxas and Ventus in the Kingdom Hearts series, he's been Tsukishima in Haikyuu, Razor in Genshin Impact, Meruem in Hunter x Hunter, and Shiragaki in My Hero Academia. The new Persona 5: The Phantom X trailer (which we can watch via Taptap) also focuses on the party member Shun Kanou. Despite his cold looks and brusque attitude, he has his own sense of justice. Due to this personality, he falls into a trap that a more prominent member of society sets. It's likely that Wonder and the other Phantom Thieves have to rescue him. Some of the scenes from the trailer seemed to also show characters that Perfect World has not shown in previous promotional materials. So it seems like this game will have a larger playable cast than the original Persona 5 games. Persona 5: The Phantom X is in development for mobile devices. Square Enix shared new details about the Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince characters and launch DLC. We already knew we'd follow a "dark prince" under a curse that forces him to use monsters to fight, due to him being unable to attack them on his own. Now we know his name is Psaro, and he's joined by Rose, Toilen Trubble, and Fizzy. As for the DLC, three paid pieces will appear at launch. There are four main members of the titular Dark Prince's party. The main character in Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince is Psaro. As he heads out to become the Master of Monsterkind by defeating his father who cursed him, Rose the elf and the human researcher Toilen Trouble will help in their own ways. There's also a mascot monster named Fizzy who teaches Psaro about recruiting and training monsters, and she seems to be a new kind of species. Here's a closer look at all four of them. Square Enix also confirmed over 500 monsters will appear in the title, with some appearing when the seasons change as in-game time passes. Square Enix shared a sample of the Final Fantasy XVI Phoenix theme song "Away" and its lyrics ahead of the soundtrack's debut on July 19, 2023. As a reminder, there are two versions of the Final Fantasy XVI soundtrack on the way. The base one is a seven disc set for $64.99. Final Fantasy XVI is available for the PS5. A demo is out now. There's a six-month exclusivity period ahead of it appearing on any other platform. The Garden of Plenty event is now live in Honkai: Star Rail. For Genshin Impact veterans, this is essentially the Star Rail version of Leyline Overflow. Every day, players will be able to run twelve rounds of Golden or Crimson Calyxes and receive double the rewards. The event will run from July 10-17, 2023. As mentioned earlier, the daily double reward is limited. You can only get twice the rewards in twelve Golden or Crimson Calyxes per day. If you want to check how many chances you have left to the double rewards, you can do so from the event screen without having to go all the way to a Calyx. Since Blade, Kafka, and Luka are coming out soon, this is a good chance to start getting materials for them. For reference, Blade is Destruction, whereas both Kafka and Luka are Nihility. While Ascension Materials for them are still unknown, they will still need to take the same items for Traces and levels. So you can pre-farm for them during the event. Even if you don't want them, this is a good opportunity to stock up on items for your current or other future characters. Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on Windows PC and mobile devices. Capcom made two announcements regarding Street Fighter 6. One is more imminent. The other we'll see later. First, Street Fighter 6 emergency maintenance just began. That is expected to last two hours and end at 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm BST on July 10, 2023. The other has to do with the first DLC character. Two of Rashid's moves from Street Fighter 5 will return for this installment. The Street Fighter 6 emergency maintenance is designed to fix two issues. One is to deal with the Lucky Days and make sure they appear. The other is to ensure people can get the Fighting Pass things they earn by playing. It began at 8am PT/11am ET/3am BST. As for the two Street Fighter 5 Rashid moves, Eagle Spike and Spinning Mixer will be back. Eagle Spike was a special attack with standard, air, and dash variants in the previous game. Likewise, Spinning Mixer had a variant "dash" option.

Square Enix revealed a new bonus for Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis closed beta participants, as well as art of Cloud from the game. With the new reward, it is a login bonus. The items doled out let people pull on the weapon banners more and play the game more often. As for the new art, it shows Cloud's three different kinds of designs that appear in the game. First, the new rewards are doled out over time. As you log in to take part in the closed beta, you'll eventually get two kinds of items. Up to 9,000 Blue Crystals can be earned. These let you pull on the weapon banners. One banner features Glenn & Matt weapons, while the other is a Barret & Cloud weapon banner. The other login bonus is six Stamina Tonic (L)s, which let you keep playing missions. Next, here's the Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis Cloud art. The first image shows his character portrait that comes up during the story when he "speaks." The battle one features the more detailed 3D model that comes up in fights. The final one shows what his character model looks like when you're exploring maps. Previously, Square Enix offered other sorts of details about the closed beta closer to its start. The company revealed people taking part in it could share details about the experience and screenshots. It noted there are limitations to when people can take part in its two co-op battles. HoYoVerse announced a Honkai: Star Rail Cosmic Refreshment Supply real-world event. This will involve visiting specific restaurants and cafes. When you do and place orders for certain drinks, you will get codes for in-game items and merchandise. However, the event is only limited to 13 countries in Asia, Europe, and North and South America. For those who can attend, they can get special drinks and items starting on July 19, 2023, the same day as the 1.2 update. First, here's the official. announcement for the event and its trailer. If people live in an area with a participating restaurant, they can order Honkai: Star Rail-themed drinks. When they do, they will get items with their order.

On July 10, 2023, Cover announced via the Hololive account that the Holostars English Vtubers Vesper Noir and Magni Dezmond activities are halted. No explanation for this abrupt hiatus were announced. The reveal also confirmed that this doesn't just include streaming. All activities, which would include things like posting on social media, are included. Here's the official announcement. Neither performer had a chance to bring up this break on their Twitter accounts ahead of Cover's statement.
Magni's last stream was on July 6, 2023. It was a collab with Kyo Kaneko. Likewise, Vesper last streamed that same day with a solo World of Warcraft one. Ahead of this sudden break in activities, both Holostars Vtubers got new models. Magni Dezmond's new 1.5 one appeared on June 10, 2023. Vesper Noir revealed his 2.0 one a few weeks later on June 30, 2023. As a reminder, Vesper was briefly put on break back in November 2022. Cover's announcement specifically noted it was a suspension and offered an explanation and exact time period for the time out. There is no word on when Magni and Vesper's activities will resume following this sudden break.
