Biomutant Choices And Consequences Guide

Biomutant Choices And Consequences Guide
During your playthrough or Biomutant, you will run into a lot of choices that can affect how the game turns out. This Biomutant Choices and Consequences guide helps you to figure out which choices do what. This way you aren't reloading bunch of old saves to see new stuff.

Biomutant Choices And Consequences Guide

There is a lot of fluff that doesn't matter much as far as choices are concerned. If it isn't listed then assume the choice isn't that big of a deal. Often times they just give more info on whatever the subject is.

Red Or Blue
The best way to look at this is good and bad. Red is a bit more evilish? The choices are still yours but the blue choice is the more good choice. They make your Auras different colors. Depending on your Aura color, you can get different spells and skills.

Red side
If you choose to go to the red side, you will get +2 to your dark aura.

Blue side
If you choose to go to the blue side, you will get +2 for your light aura.

Help Survivor Or Leave To Fate
Help
Your quest is going to be the same either way, this just gives more light points.

Leave
You are still going to get the main quest, but you get more dark points with this choice. You also uppercut the dude so that is fun.

Jagni Or Myriad
Item inner text here
Captive Pilgrim Choice
You made your own destiny
The pilgrim is sad to hear you are still following the selfish road. You will still get the captives side quest, the psi point, and you gain more dark points.

I'll help
The pilgrim will be happy to hear it and you get a quest from him as well a a psi point. You also get more light points for being a good dude.

Burn The Cart Or Feed The People Choice
I found this choice while I was traveling along the road, it might be random. This choice is pretty black and white and the icons even show you which is good and which is bad. I burned the cart and got dark points but nothing else happened so far.

I Want Revenge Or I Am Ready To Forgive
When you meet up with Goop you will get this choice.

I want revenge
Goop says he understands, but that it won't make you feel better once it is done. You also gain dark points for this option.

I'll forgive
Goop says that is good and you will get some light points.

The Easy Way Or The Hard Way
When you meet up with Goop you will get this choice.

The easy way
Goop says you should stick close to shore in the case.

The hard way
He tells you to hit the open surf, but you are more likely to drown.

Burn The Village Or Dont
Pretty cut and dry, burn it and you get dark points and if not you get light points. If you burn the village down then the guy who gave you the quest will open his shop for you.

Capturing The Fort
When you capture the fort and speak with the rival Sifu, you can persuade him to stand down. It has a chance to fail, and if it does you do fight him. Either way you will get the same choice after.

Lock Up At Fort Or End Him Or Ally Him
After you capture the enemy fort you will need to choose what to do with the Sifu.
Ally
This is the preferred choice for the Myraid tribe. You make them an ally instead of taking them over and gain some light points.

Lock in fort
You let the enemy Sifu live and you get his weapon as well, this is a neutral choice.

Kill
This is the preferred choice for the Jagni Tribe. You still get the tribe weapon and some dark points. This also wages war on the next Sifu in the area.

I Want Revenge Or I Am Ready To Forgive
This pop up during certain story moments with your old friends.

Revenge
Dark side points.

Forgiveness
Light side points.

Live And Let Live Or Rest In Peace
This happens after you beat one of the main bosses. The only thing that happens is a big boost to either light or dark.

Live and let live
A couple dark side points and five light side points.

Rest in peace
You gain some dark side and light side points.

How To Get All Environmental Suits In Biomutant

How To Get All Environmental Suits In Biomutant
You need protection against Hypoxia, Heat, and other environmental hazards in Biomutant. This guide on How To Get All Environmental Suits In Biomutant will tell you how you can unlock each of the suits to protect you against the various hazardous aspects of the environment.

All of the hazards in the world have a counter suit that let's you explore those areas without the fear of immediate death. They are all obtained in a similar method, completing a specific side quest. The side quests themselves are very simple, everything is marked on the map, so you can track down the objectives and complete them easily. However, finding the side quests in Biomutant can be tough so we'll get you started on everything you need to know.

  • Heat Zone – Heat Zone Suit
  • Hypoxia Zone – Oxygen Suit
  • Biohzard – Biohazard Suit
  • Cold Zone – Cold Zone Suit

How To Get All Environmental Suits In Biomutant

The first hazard you are likely to encounter is Hypoxia but unfortunately, you're not able to do anything about that just yet. You first need to get the Heatzone suit. Each quest starts the same. You approach a hazard area and once you are in the hazard for a few seconds, a cut-scene will play. After the cut-scene you will unlock a new side quest that will set you on the path to find the appropriate suit.

Heatzone Suit

Heatzone Suit
Head to this location on the map. This is a Heat Zone. You can easily spot it from a distance as it's surrounded in red mist. As you get closer you'll notice red rocks and other clues to the Heat Zone. Approach with caution and just sit on the edge so that it says "Heat Zone" in the top right corner. After a couple of seconds you will get the side quest to get your Heatzone Suit. Simply follow the objectives to get the suit.

The Oxygen Suit

The Oxygen Suit
You will discover a Hypoxia area much earlier in the game, near the start, but you cannot do anything initially because the Oxygen Suit is trapped inside a Heat Zone. So, after you have the Heat Zone suit, you can get the Oxygen Suit. If you somehow missed the earlier Hypoxia part, there's a huge area to the West that is all Hypoxia, the Dead Zone. Make sure you're at ground level, where all the plants and everything is dead.

The Biohazard Suit

The Biohazard Suit
The Biohazard Suit allows you to explore Biohazard areas. There's a destroyed nuclear power plant at this location. As with the others, approach and stay in the biohazard for a few seconds and you will get the Biohazard Suit quest.

The Coldzone Suit

The Coldzone Suit
The final environmental hazard is Cold Zones. You will need to head to the location I'm standing above. There's a Cold Zone area here. Simply stand in the area as before, until the cut-scene plays and you can get the quest.

Deciding who to take on the Ark is a vital choice but what are the options? This guide on Who Can You Take On The Ark In Biomutant will introduce you to all of the different characters that you are able to choose to bring with you on the limited spaced Ark.

He has seats reserved for you, your Tribes leader, and Out-Of-Date, but there are four more seats available. You can invite another member of the world on the Ark once you have completed all their quests but a word of warning. If you select "no" when inviting someone on the Ark, you do not get to invite them again, so don't approach them without saving the game first.

It's also worth noting that not all animals will accompany you, even when offered. It depends on your current Aura alignment compared to theirs. We've already gone over who you should choose to take on the Ark, but what are the options?

Biomutant Happy To End This Early Or Let's Continue The Crusade Choice

Biomutant Happy To End This Early Or Let's Continue The Crusade Choice
After taking your second Tribal Fort, there is another important choice. This Biomutant Happy To End This Early Or Let's Continue The Crusade Choice guide will walk you through both decisions, explaining what happens depending on what choice you decide to make.

Biomutant is a game about splitting paths and important decisions. It is filled with choices and consequences. Some of these are very basic, merely progressing a conversation in a particular direction. Other choices can influence your Aura, whether you're going down the path of light or dark. Others have a much greater impact on the game, going as far as to change the ending.

Biomutant Happy To End This Early Or Let's Continue The Crusade Choice

If You Choose Happy To End This Early
If you make this choice the Sifu is pleased and the tribes all unite. There's a cute cut-scene showing the tribes training and bonding together. This choice allows you to claim the tribal weapon of the clan after you have defeated the second Tribal Fort but you cannot claim the other Tribal Weapons from the other Tribes. After making this choice I visited the other Tribal Forts and although I could explore, interact, and shop without confrontation, I was not able to obtain any of the Tribal Weapons for those regions.

However, this does cut quite a significant portion of the game away. You will immediately ally with all remaining tribes and will no longer have to attack forts and strongholds. You gain access to all the shops, but you still have to travel to each fort manually.

If You Choose Let's Continue The Crusade
If you make this decision, the Sifu is surprised. He is surprised that you chose to continue the war against the other tribes when you have the option to end it early. This choice allows you to continue the conquest of the other tribes, adding more forts and outposts for you to conquer. You can also continue to claim the other Tribe Weapons from making this choice.

Ultimately, it's up to you. If the repetition of taking all the forts and towers has become a bore, you can choose the first choice and avoid doing any further content in that particular field. Otherwise, especially if you want additional weapons for your arsenal, the second choice adds more content to the experience.

Under Lock And Key At The Fort Or Let Them Join Us Choice In Biomutant

Under Lock And Key At The Fort Or Let Them Join Us Choice In Biomutant
When you take your first Tribal Fort, there is an important choice to make. This guide on the Under Lock And Key At The Fort Or Let Them Join Us Choice In Biomutant breaks down the immediate consequences of your actions, as your choice greatly impacts your characters progression and future paths.

Biomutant features a varied narrative that twists and turns as the plot progresses. There are many occasions where you are given a choice to make. Sometimes the consequences of these actions are immediate, raising or decreasing your light and dark aura's, other times the consequences are more subtle or not seen until much later in the game. Check out our Biomutant Choices & Consequences Guide for other choices.

This choice happens multiple times throughout the game, but the result remains the same.

If You Choose Put Him Under Lock And Key At Our Fort
If you make this choice your Sifu agrees with your decision and says it will give your rivals time to come around to your way of thinking. You can then claim the legendary tribe weapon as the next main objective in the quest.

If You Choose Let Them Join Us
If you choose to let the defeated Tribe join you, your Sifu also agrees. He thinks its a good gesture to offer to support to others. Both tribe leaders shake hands. You're then able to grab the legendary tribe weapon as with the other choice.

Kill Him
If you join the Jagni then you get the option to kill the enemy Sifu as well. This will give you some dark points, but so far nothing else has happened outside of us taking the forts.

Initially it appears these decisions have no impact. While that is true in the immediate, there is no light or dark change to your Aura, it does have an impact later in the game. The ending of the game differs slightly depending on the positive and negative choices you make throughout.

Choose Jagni Or Myriad Sifu In Biomutant

Choose Jagni Or Myriad Sifu In Biomutant
Near the start of the game you're given a choice for the quest, An Alliance. This Choose Jagni Or Myriad Sifu In Biomutant guide will tell you what happens if you choose to side with the Jagni or the Myriad Sifu, so you can base your decision on the path you want your character to follow.

If You Choose Myriad Sifu

If You Choose Myriad Sifu
The Myriad Tribe act on the understanding of the greater good and a code of honor. Wanting to unit the tribes in an effort to defeat the Worldeaters, saving the Tree of Life and allowing the world to thrive. Choosing to side with the Myriad Sifu is the "good guy" choice as they are aligned with light to the maximum amount.

If you want to choose the Myriad Tribe you need to take the natural tunnel, not the broken road. On route you will encounter Myriad troops fighting with Jagni troops, the Myriad troops are immediately aligned and cannot be attacked, as you make an enemy of the Jagni tribe. You will meet the Sifu of the Myriad and there you will have a choice on where to join the Myriad or refuse.

This is a huge choice that determines the outcome of the game. You will work with Tribes to save the Tree of Life and you will be limited on choice when dealing with rival Sifu's to either Unite or Subdue them. This is the more "good guy" path.

If You Choose Jagni

If You Choose Jagni
The Jagni tribe wants to be feared by all. They aimed to destroy all other Tribes and leave the Worldeaters to destroy the Tree of Life. The Jagni Tribe are aligned with the Dark Aura, making this the preferred choice for those looking to go down the "bad guy" route.

They never force you to kill any of the other Sifu's or tribes, but it is strongly implied that is how this tribe operates. If you want to just kill everyone without any repercussions the join up with the Jagni. You also get the Bo staff as your first tribe weapon.
