PCGamesN Thursday, May 29, 2025 3:31 PM There are plenty of sprawling survival games out there, each with their own angle on the genre. Subnautica takes place on and deep below the surface of an ocean. The Forest strands players in a deadly expanse of woodland. V Rising features bloodthirsty vampires. The exceptionally named Surroundead is centered on portraying a zombie apocalypse through a distinct, lo-fi visual style that sets it apart from similar games. Though it first hit Early Access back in 2022, a steep discount and solid user reviews seem to have given it new attention, with its player count currently rising on Steam. |
PCGamesN Thursday, May 29, 2025 2:44 PM So much time in a city building or strategy game like Frostpunk 2, Factorio, or Rimworld is spent carefully considering how to build a functioning society and keep it safe from harm. Dawn Apart, on the other hand, wants its players to enjoy not just the creative process, but also the destruction of their hard work when disaster strikes. If you're curious to see exactly how that works, you're in luck, as there's now a demo available to check out on Steam. |

PCGamesN Thursday, May 29, 2025 1:59 PM Nvidia just dropped the GeForce Now app for Steam Deck, and I've had the chance to play around with it before release. Quite simply, this is a game changer for the Steam Deck, with games that previously haven't run well on the aging handheld now looking super sharp. While the Steam Deck is absolutely the best gaming handheld for most gamers, its aging hardware has seen it struggle with some of the latest triple-A releases, such as Doom The Dark Ages, Clair Obscur Expedition 33, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Now, thanks to Nvidia's native GeForce Now app, these games are fully playable with great performance. PCGamesN Thursday, May 29, 2025 1:10 PM When IO Interactive returned to the world of Hitman in 2016, it seemed like the long-running stealth series had run its course. At the time, the most recent entry was Hitman: Absolution, which was a competent but underwhelming follow-up to Hitman: Blood Money, launched a decade earlier, in 2006. Fortunately, the studio soon showed it had plenty of great ideas left to explore in future Hitman games, creating a new trilogy, now called World of Assassination, that stand as some of the finest examples of the stealth genre to date. And now, its most beloved mission is free to keep forever if you're fast. MORE FROM PCGAMESN: Hitman PC review, Hitman 2 release date |
PCGamesN Thursday, May 29, 2025 12:39 PM With the Minecraft movie bringing Mojang's iconic sandbox even more to the forefront of our minds, there's always the lingering question about a possible Minecraft 2. While that seems unlikely in an official capacity, several teams have looked to put their own spin on the blocky building game. Among them is Reforj, built by Dundee-based 4J Studios, a team that previously worked on Minecraft itself (specifically porting it to consoles and handhelds). It's now available in an early pre-alpha form, and its first title update dramatically expands your building potential. PCGamesN Thursday, May 29, 2025 12:26 PM FTL: Faster Than Light is one of the all-time great roguelikes, having stood the test of time alongside contemporaries like Don't Starve, Spleunky, and Darkest Dungeon. Surprisingly, though, its hectic design principles, formed largely around maintaining a space ship as it journeys through a dangerous galaxy, hasn't inspired many games in the time since. Void War looks to fill that, well, void in the genre, filtering FTL-style play through Warhammer 40,000's narrative and visual trappings for a spiritual successor to the latter set to launch tomorrow on Steam. |
PCGamesN Thursday, May 29, 2025 12:18 PM Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, and the early God of War games have blessed us with some brilliant hack-and-slash experiences, but the genre seems to have been going dormant in recent years. PCGamesN Thursday, May 29, 2025 11:52 AM A few weeks ago I finally completed Baldur's Gate 3. I stood triumphant as I took down the Netherbrain, rolling a nat 20 on my dominate check, only for it to beat me down anyway. Ever since, I've been craving more Dungeons and Dragons-inspired goodness, dipping my toes into Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader and tentatively considering selling my soul to Neverwinter Nights. PCGamesN Thursday, May 29, 2025 11:29 AM It looks like ASRock has finally figured out why AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D gaming CPUs keep burning out on its motherboards. While the company hasn't made an official statement, ASRock engineers reportedly discussed the cause, off the record, at the Computex 2025 trade show last week, with the issue now reportedly fixed with a new set of BIOS updates. Reports of burned-out AMD Ryzen gaming CPUs have been racking up on Reddit for months, but the cause hasn't been completely clear, leaving owners of the best gaming CPU at risk when using ASRock motherboards. PCGamesN Thursday, May 29, 2025 11:12 AM New Intel gaming GPUs weren't announced at Computex after all, but that doesn't mean that the chipmaker isn't hard at work. A new Linux driver update has just teased two previously unknown device IDs with Intel Battlemage codenames, suggesting that one could well be the recently teased Intel Arc B770 for gamers. Meanwhile, a new rumor suggests that, although the company is working on a new GPU, it won't be ready to launch until the end of the year. Intel caused plenty of speculation that new Intel Arc Battlemage GPUs were on the way before Computex, but only Intel Arc Pro workstation cards were ultimately announced. Those might be quality products but they won't be among the best graphics card options for gamers. PCGamesN Thursday, May 29, 2025 11:00 AM Whether it's Insurgency or Call of Duty, Counter-Strike 2 or Rainbow Six Siege, I often have the same problem with every online FPS game. It varies depending on the lobby and the player base, and there are some games that mitigate it more than others, but generally, it's like everybody is out for themselves. These are meant to be multiplayer games - team deathmatches - but every individual is operating in isolation, and we're all working for our own kill-death ratio and XP gains. Battlefield 4's Commander mode tried to inject more direction and strategy. Likewise, the Commander role in Hell Let Loose, which, perhaps more than any online shooter, does feel like a team game. But I'd like to see it more. That's why the new Delta Force update has my attention. MORE FROM PCGAMESN: Delta Force guns, Delta Force operators, Delta Force loadouts |

PCGamesN Thursday, May 29, 2025 10:47 AM I remember previewing Evercore Heroes: Ascension two years ago. But a lot has changed: in 2024 Vela Games announced that the game was undergoing a slight transformation, booting the competitive PvP element to focus entirely on PvE and add in roguelike-inspired elements. PCGamesN Thursday, May 29, 2025 10:05 AM It's the inherent right of every serious tech modder to rip apart their expensive kit, no matter the consequences. One modder has taken that mantra to heart by taking their Steam Deck and adding a custom water-cooling loop to it, hacking away the Deck's back panel for access, and securing the whole setup to a desk. Is this a sensible way to keep your Steam Deck cool? For most gamers, probably not – it's already one of the best handheld options out there with adequate cooling for most use cases. While it can get a little hot under load, we aren't recommending that most gamers get out their tools and start putting together DIY mods like this one, although it's still a pretty cool concept to see work. Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Thursday, May 29, 2025 11:46 AM ![]() I was 20 minutes into the demo before I realised that Becoming Saint is that most terrible of things, another roguelike, but that's OK, because by then I'd been burned at the stake for heresy after failing to convert the homely town of Spoleto. The presiding Inquisitor very kindly let me off 100 years of purgatory because I'd mostly rebelled against the Emperor, not the Pope. But then he slapped on 68 years for "minor sins". I'm not sure which sins. Possibly my being a bit parsimonious with the bread rations on the road to Spoleto? Possibly my favouring the company of a majestic wolf, "strong as he is beautiful"? Regardless, the happy ending here is that after 968 years in purgatory, I was eventually canonised as a Saint in the year 2317. Today, 29th May, is in fact Saint Edwina's day. Sega announced that Suicide Squad Isekai figures of Harley Quinn and Joker are now part of its Desktop x Decorate collection. They are currently showing up in arcades and online crane games, like Taito's, in Japan. US storefronts aren't showing them yet, though places like Amazon and Big Bad Toy Store do often sell items from this line for $20-30 each.
Both the Joker and Harley Quinn figures are static ones based on their appearances in the anime series. He's slightly taller at almost six and a half inches tall (16.5 cm), and she's just over six inches tall (16 cm). Neither one is holding any sort of weapons. However, their poses do match a little, as each character has their right hand on their hip.

This isn't the only time Sega released merchandise based on the characters' anime appearance. Back in December 2024, it also released four plush toys. King Shark and Katana joined Joker and Harley Quinn for that collection.
At the moment there is only one season of the Suicide Squad Isekai anime series. However, that did end on a cliffhanger. Warner Bros and Wit Studio haven't confirmed if a second one is in the works.

Good Smile Company is making a new Hatsune Miku figure of the Vocaloid in a Shooting Star a la Mode dress from Japanese fashion brand Baby The Stars Shine Bright. It will cost ¥33,900/$222.99. It will first debut in Japan, where it has a June 2026 launch window. A worldwide release will follow, with the company's US storefront estimating it will appear by Q4 2026.
This is a static, 1/7 scale figure, so there are no extra accessories or face plates. The design of it is based on a piece of En Morikura art that showed the character in the Lolita style dress. The idea is for it to not only be a replica of the artist's design, but also of the outfit sold by the fashion brand itself. It will stand at over 10 inches tall (260mm). It will also stand on a translucent blue base.
Here's how the figure is expected to look:

NPC Studio announced the latest Fields of Mistria update will appear in July 2025 and make some major changes to the romance system, including adding an option to become someone's Best Friend. We'll also be able to take love interests on dates once the patch goes out. There's no exact date for its release yet, however.
Many of the biggest changes in the Fields of Mistria July 2025 update have to do with the romance options and additions for the love interests we meet. The new cap for relationships is eight hearts. The previous patches brought that up to six hearts. Once you do reach eight hearts with someone, such as someone like Caldarus, there will be an option to either make things romantic or become their best friend. The dating elements that will allow us to spend time with bachelors and bachelorettes will also come up.
Some of the other additions are expected raising of top tiers. There will be Tier 4 and 5 Skill Perks, and the caps for those will go up to 60. Renown for the town will go up by five levels, which means new ways to repair after the earthquake and sidequests. There will also be a new festival, which hasn't been named yet, and the Saturday Market will feature two more people to visit. No new mine biome was mentioned, but there will be changes to monsters and more drops.
Here's the full Fields of Mistria July 2025 initial patch notes update from the official site:
Villagers & Romance
Mines & Dungeon
Renown & Town
Skills & Perks
Customization & Cosmetics
Misc.
Fields of Mistria is in early access on PC via Steam.

Kojima Productions announced that Hololive Vtuber Usada Pekora will appear as an NPC in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. She'll be one of the Preppers that Sam Porter Bridges can visit and assist during the game. The developer also shared a brief teaser on social media, hinting at what she'll look like in-game.
The Death Stranding 2 Usada Pekora clip is quite brief, and it does confirm the Hololive Vtuber character model of her original, default costume will appear as her hologram in-game. We first see Sam head to the bunker to make a delivery. As he leaves, we hear Pekora call out to him. He thanks her, and she replies in kind. The entire interaction uses the Japanese voice acting option for the game, so it is unknown if she'll speak in English or Japanese for the English version of the game.
Here's the full teaser trailer of the interaction:
The follow-up tweet only confirms that she is a Prepper NPC we'll meet and assist. The developer didn't talk about any other elements tied to her and her appearance.
It isn't entirely unexpected that Usada Pekora will appear in Death Stranding 2, as Hideo Kojima talked about the Hololive Vtuber and interacted with her before. First, he shared a post on social media with several screen captures of one of her stream in August 2023. Then in August 2024, she visited the Kojima Productions offices. We often end up seeing people he references online showing up in his projects as guests.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will come to the PS5 on June 26, 2025.

Sanrio announced a crossover collection ofmerchandise that features its mascots dressed as Chiikawa characters and vice versa. It will debut in Japan on June 13, 2025, though only applicable Sanrio+ members who enter a lottery will be able to buy them initially. The company didn't note of the items will also appear worldwide yet.
Five Sanrio mascots and five Chiikawa characters are a part of this collection, and in each case the merchandise features all 10 represented. This means that the pairings mean we'll see examples where Hello Kitty will constantly be dressed as Chiikawa, and likewise Chiikawa will wear a Hello Kitty outfit. Here is the official list of which characters are connected.
There are four kinds of plush products in this crossover collection. Some are more traditional stuffed animals, such as the five 3,696円 (~$26) plush toys of the Chiikawa characters in removable costumes. Those can take the Sanrio outfits off. Five mascot keychains of them that don't include removable clothes are 2,497円 (~$17). Five plush purses of the Chiikawa characters' heads with hoods are 2,794円 (~$19). 10 hair clips are also plush and feature all 10 mascots from the crossover for 946円 (~$7) each. Also, while not plush toys, there are 10 flocked 990円 (~$7) of each character.
There are also some bags and stickers in the collection. A set of what looks to be 17 stickers costs 550円 (~$4). There are three bag options, with one being a set of two. The cheapest is a pink eco bag that can be folded into a pouch for 1,496円 (~$10). The pair of two zippered pouches is 1,980円 (~$14). Finally, the A4-size tote bag is 2,497円 (~$17).

For the acrylic figure, the height of the character will determine the size of the stand. For example, Shouma's stand is much smaller compared to everyone else's because of his short height. As for the acrylic keychain, it's a double-layered one that combines the character's default standing portrait with the cut-in for their special attack. Meanwhile, the pins use sprites from the game, rather than the default expression that's on the acrylic keychain.
The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- is a visual novel with SRPG elements. It's the latest title from Too Kyo Games, and is a collaborative effort between Kazutaka Kodaka (Danganronpa series) and Kotaro Uchikoshi (Zero Escape series). The game follows normal high schooler, Takumi Sumino, who finds himself wrapped up in a bizarre war against "school invaders." He and the other students at Last Defense Academy must defend the school for a hundred days.
The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- is available on the Nintendo Switch and Windows PC via Steam.

Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping brings us back to the world introduced in Duck Detective: The Secret Salami and, well, it's exactly what you'd expect the adventure game to be. This is a short, bite-sized adventure with colorful characters, and it ends it feeling rather cozy due to it being a rather laid back approach to sometimes low stakes mysteries. It's a good thing! Not every title needs to be a 40-hour epic, and Happy Broccoli Games again created a captivating story to savor over the course of an afternoon.
Eugene McQuacklin, who I'll just go ahead and call Duck Detective from here on out since everyone else does, is down on his luck as the sequel begins. He's living in Freddy Frederson's spare room, still is addicted to bread, and his ex-wife wants nothing to do with him and won't return his calls. He can't wallow, however, as Freddy is dragging him on a glamping trip with his new girlfriend to grounds near a potentially haunted asylum. (He already paid for it!) Forced along, the detective finds either ghosts or haunting the area, or there's a decidedly more dastardly explanation for unsettling behavior. It's up to us to investigate again.
Aside from Freddy, the alligator that got Duck Detective goat's in the first game, tagging along, Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping proceeds pretty much identically to the first game. A mystery will arise. You'll need to put together deducktions, based on observations, interviewing people, and interacting with the environment, to get topics to feed into a Mad-Libs style statement figuring out what happened. Solving one mystery opens up the next, advancing the story and granting access to new areas.
What I loved about Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping that is unique to this entry is honestly the increased interactions with Freddy. The Duck Detective is a prickly sort of character that feels plucked from a noir novella and dumped into what is, at a glance, an adorable world that includes a lot of quirky characters. By adding Freddy as a more present foil, we get to appreciate the ways in which this more goofy, nerdy, and typical person interacts with this serious investigator.
However, I also appreciate that despite being cozy, The Ghost of Glamping continues the tradition of Duck Detective actually including some dark and mature themes just like The Secret Salami. While it's played for laughs and silliness since it is just bread, the titular detective does have an addiction. His relationship with his former lover is an issue. There are not-great people here trying to take advantage of and hurt others.
Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping offers more of the same and, in the case of this series, that's exactly what Happy Broccoli Games should be doing. It's a welcome addition to our gaming libraries! The characters are still incredibly entertaining. The gameplay is sound. The narrative is engaging. It feels like another episode of something we all already agreed that we enjoyed, and I appreciate the relief of knowing there's a consistent series that will regularly deliver a certain type of enjoyable adventure for an evening.
Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping is available for the Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.

Xbox Game Pass just got updated with 50 retro titles hailing from the dawn of gaming. Many awesome and memorable games that inaugurated the gaming industry as a whole are there, and, out of the bunch, more than a few stand out. So, here's what you should focus on.
50 games at the push of a button
Before I get into listing out the highlights, I really want you to consider taking these old games for a spin. All 50 come together at the push of a button and at just about 85 megabytes, which is a far cry from the game sizes we've unfortunately become used to in recent years. There are games from the old, old Activision, made for the Atari 2600, PSX, Amiga, the SNES, and others.
You can relive a day and age where things were much simpler, and if you're a tad younger, finally understand that the older folk weren't raving when they spoke of "how gaming used to be."
And now for the showreel.
5. Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist
![]()
All those great RPGs and story-driven games we have today, from Baldur's Gate 3 to The Witcher 3, couldn't have happened if it weren't for pioneers who created wonderful point-and-click adventures that combined the arts to prove that games can be and are an art form themself. Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist is one such game available in the Retro Classics bundle on Game Pass, with amazing voice acting and music opening the world of the late Wild West to you who control the eponymous apothecary.
4. The Dagger of Amon Ra
![]()
Just like Freddy Pharkas, The Dagger of Amon Ra was published by Sierra (the same Sierra that helped make Half-Life a reality), originally for the DOS system. It is one of many murder-mystery point-and-click games that came out during this neo-classical era of video games, when small teams of passionate developers experimented and tried things that had never been seen before. And, just like the one above, it features amazing storytelling, music, and atmosphere, all of which rival modern titles that often tend to lack many of these artistic elements.
3. H.E.R.O.
![]()
H.E.R.O. is a much older title than the ones above, i.e., it precedes them by about a decade. It grants you control of, well, a hero, descending treacherous terrain to rescue lost people. You come across various challenges along the way, including obstacles and enemies standing in just the right spot to ensure you lose a life. The game gets progressively harder as you go by, and time is of the essence, as getting a high score directly depends on how quickly you reach the victims. It's old, but it's tremendously fun.
2. Enduro
![]()
Many of the games in the Retro Classics bundle come with their own set of challenges, including Enduro, an old but incredibly fun racing game from the early 1980s. One challenge, Full Speed Overtake, sees you having to navigate the tracks to overtake as many cars as possible without being able to slow down. Though it's an ancient title by video game standards, this challenge was so unexpectedly fun, especially because Microsoft arranged a whole leaderboard to see who's the best at retro racing. You can also challenge others, including your friends, which adds a lot to the experience.
1. Caesar II
![]()
Sierra published an ungodly number of great games during its existence, and Caesar II is no exception. This DOS city-builder puts you in the shoes of a Roman imperator raising a new city from the ground up. You can place housing districts, erect colosseums and forums, provide the town with water via aqueducts, and just generally vibe with the ancient Roman vibes.
Though it's nothing in comparison to the upcoming Anno 117: Pax Romana or other newer games following a similar concept, it's a classic that paved the way for all these greats to exist. Keep in mind that I did run into some issues (it seems like Xbox streams these games to each player), and input lag is quite noticeable in all the DOS games, including the point-and-click ones.

Happy Pride Month, Overwatch 2 fans. Blizzard Entertainment announced it's kicking off this year's festivities with a closer look at Jack Morrison, AKA Soldier: 76, one of the game's several LGBTQ+ heroes.
A new short story about Soldier: 76 and his romantic interest, Vincent, is now available, called Futures Past. Written by four-time Lammy award and four time Spectrum Award winner Melissa Scott, it clocks in at about 30 pages and features Morrison and fellow OW2 hero Illari and "is a sobering tale of Soldier: 76 looking back not only on his past, but more importantly, looking forward and fighting for what matters: a bright future for everyone."
![]()
"We know how important Pride is for so many of you—it's special for many of us that work on Overwatch 2 as well—and we love being able to take this time to stand up and celebrate the unique diversity that all of us share," Blizzard said.
In-game, the celebrations begin tomorrow. From May 30 to June 30, a free Soldier: 76 Pride skin called Resilient will be available for free for all who log in to OW2, along with a new Rainbow Smoke Bomb emote.
The Pride Month party continues elsewhere because Blizzard is bringing back the Pride festival variant of the Midtown map, as "Pride festivals around the world continue a tradition of showing courage and solidarity for everyone in the LGBTQ+ community, and Midtown is no different." The map will be available in-game until June 30, and it will also have its own dedicated card in Arcade.
Finally, Blizzard is calling on artists to send in fanart for Pride, and the company will be combining the best pieces into a montage that will be displayed on Blizzard campus.
![]()
"We will always celebrate our LGBTQ+ Heroes, players, fans, and team members who play, build, and support Overwatch 2 all year round," Blizzard said. "Remember that you are unique to this world, but that doesn't mean you are alone. No one can take away the amazing things that make you a positive force in the world. Everyone will always be welcome in our amazing community. You will always exist, and you will always matter. That is what makes you a hero."

Phasmophobia's next major update is officially slated for release on June 24, and it's completely overhauling how a variety of major gameplay features work. The Chronicle update is reworking how evidence collection functions, adding a new type of equipment, and so much more.
This update is by far one of the biggest ones we've seen yet, as each new type of equipment completely reshapes how investigations function. The new item included in this one is a Sound Recorder, and ghost hunting is about to get a whole lot scarier because of it.
![]()
The Sound Recorder brings with it the ability to capture sound evidence in any contract you tackle in Phasmophobia. Like all other equipment, this item has three Tiers, with each one steadily upping the quality of the object, making it easier and more efficient to use. With this item, you can record all kinds of paranormal sounds, including ones from ghost events, the Spirit Box, Parabolic Microphone, and all other forms of audio you encounter throughout your investigations.
Since the Sound Recorder is adding an entirely new way to capture audio evidence, the journal is undergoing a complete redesign to go with it. The photos tab is replaced by a more general media tab. It's organized into three sections—photos, videos, and sound recordings—to efficiently capture all forms of evidence you come across.
The value and labeling system for evidence will be vastly upgraded in this update, so it should finally give you proper rewards for capturing quality evidence. Before this update, you could capture a full-on ghost photo and not even have it recognized. With Chronicle, unique evidence will be treated as it should be, which means plenty of cash and XP earned for the first capture of each evidence.
![]()
With the new equipment and gameplay systems combined, every moment is an opportunity to capture compelling evidence. You can record live footage as ghosts throw objects around, photograph some properly labeled ghost models, replay chilling Spirit Box noises, track Ghost Orbs, and so much more. Investigations are overall much more immersive, detailed, and dedicated to rewarding you for your efforts, thanks to these improvements.
The Chronicle update releases on June 24th, and all of the new content will be live to explore as soon as it's available. As exciting as this update is, there's also plenty more to look forward to throughout the year after it, some of which was teased alongside the Chronicle update announcement.
Phasmophobia's next planned update is a complete rework of the Grafton Farmhouse map, similar to the Bleasdale Farmhouse overhaul that launched back in March 2025. While Bleasdale Farmhouse got a fancy upgrade, Grafton Farmhouse is getting the exact opposite treatment with a much more dilapidated and run-down redesign. A sneak peek of what one area will look like was shared alongside the Chronicle update news, and it already looks downright terrifying.
![]()
Beyond this update, there's also a new small map in the works, the complete gampley overhaul with Horror 2.0, and the biggest update yet in the works, so there's lots to look forward to throughout 2025 if you're seeking some fresh spooky experiences.

Destructoid, I have something I need to get off my chest that feels petty the more I think about it, but has become a bigger concern as a physical video game collector. Why on earth of the Switch 2 boxes, and box art, so darn ugly?
I adore collecting physical media and having a shelf of content to pick out during my time off. I enjoy looking at my collection of games, books, and the aesthetic it gives off. But the Nintendo Switch 2 boxes aren't cutting it for me.
For those who haven't seen the Switch 2 box art yet, they are red with a thick label at the top of the box with the Switch 2 logo dead center, with the game's box art underneath it with all the usual bells and whistles you'd expect to see.
I get it. Nintendo had to do something to make the box art different from the Switch 1 so consumers didn't pick up a Nintendo Switch 2 box and think it would work on the older system, but the more I look into the box art for day one and year one games, the less appealing I've been finding it.
This feeling was heightened by the recent reveal of the Pokémon Legends Z-A Switch and Switch 2 Edition boxes. The Switch box art is minimal and gorgeous, letting the art pop out with a small Switch 1 logo. The Switch 2 version, though, feels condensed, and don't even get me started on the massive text box at the bottom of the Switch 2 edition games that feel like an eyesore.
I think for these versions, I would rather buy the Nintendo Switch version and pay for the upgrade fee digitally so that I have a piece of physical media that I care about. But I can't help but wonder if it's just a me thing, or if others share the same views.
Let me know in the comments below what you think.

"Since launching Battle Royale Casual - a blend of players and clearly identifiable bots - we've seen it become a considerably popular option with positive reception overall," Raven Software said. "Given its popularity, combined with our ongoing effort to keep playlist options focused and manageable, we're going to experimentally replace core Battle Royale Solos with Battle Royale Casual Solos. While we understand the impact this will have for players who prefer core Battle Royale Solos, it is a compromise we're comfortable with given the larger engagement with other playlist options."

Downtown is changing in a big way with a new POI added to Verdansk this season. Welcome to The Overlook.
"Dominate foes with a gigantic new skyscraper point of interest, available to Operators within the vicinity of Downtown!" Activision said.
