PCGamesN Thursday, June 5, 2025 9:57 AM AMD has just unleashed its latest budget gaming GPU, and so far it looks as though the company's MSRP pricing is holding up, with stock available to buy, even in the US. The new AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT comes in two versions, with 8GB cards starting from $299, and 16GB cards starting from $349, giving the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 a serious run for its money. As I found in my AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT review, this new AMD GPU is seriously capable, particularly if you buy the 16GB version, as it not only enables you to max out lots of the latest games at 1080p, but it even runs them well at 2,560 x 1,440. The 16GB version costs $50 more than the RTX 5060, but the extra memory opens up settings that you simply can't run on the RTX 5060. |

PCGamesN Thursday, June 5, 2025 7:35 AM Nvidia is reportedly gearing up to launch a new budget gaming GPU that's cheaper than the RTX 5060, with the latest rumors saying the new graphics card will launch next month. Unlike the RTX 4050, which was only available for laptops, the latest leaks point to the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 launching in a desktop version too, meaning we could finally have a decent current-gen gaming PC that doesn't cost a silly amount of money. There's currently a clear gap in our best graphics card guide that's ready and waiting for a new GPU that costs under $250, with both the latest Nvidia and AMD GPUs starting at $299. We've seen plenty of rumors about the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 already, but this is the first time we've seen a release window mooted, with the new GPU reportedly set to be released in July 2025. Square Enix announced the Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles English voice actors, and the FFVII Remake voice actors for Aerith Gainsborough and Cloud Strife will both be reprise their roles as the characters. Both Briana White and Cody Christian are confirmed. The two appeared in both FFVII Remake and Rebirth.
The full list came up after Square Enix talked more about the June 2025 State of Play reveal. It shared eight of the English voice actors. Among them is the English voice of Clive Rosfield, as Ben Starr will be Dycedarg.
Here's the full list of Final Fantasy Tactics English voice actors we know so far:
In the original Final Fantasy Tactics, you could actually encounter both Aerith and Cloud. It's also possible to recruit Cloud, if you follow certain steps.
In addition to the $49.99 standard edition, there will be a Collector's Box. That includes a Ramza Akademy version figure, a set of three Chocobo plush, Outlying Church pop-up art, an art sheet, acrylic Zodiac Stones, and an option to get it with the game. It costs $200 directly through Square Enix, but sold out.

Keita Takahashi games have a habit of spreading joy and positivity. Wattam emphasized friendship and working together. Crankin's Time Travel Adventure toyed with the concept of time management. Katamari Damacy made tidying up a little more silly and embraced chaos. To a T is the developer's unique look at coming of age and growing up while dealing with unexpected challenges, all while overcoming them throughout the game. The story and soundtrack are fantastic, as you'd expect, but some of the execution isn't exactly on-point.
Teen is a young adult who is not only dealing with growing up, as they just turned 13, but with being shaped like a T. Their arms are perpetually extended at their sides. While this means certain accommodations need to be made in their everyday life, such as a service animal that assists with some tasks and special tools for accomplishing daily tasks, it presents a sudden unexpected advantage. On our avatar's birthday, they discover they can fly by spinning quickly and moving about. What follows feels like an anime series, right down to segments being broken down into episodes prefaced by the PREP's "Perfect Shape" main theme and punctuated by the Rebecca Sugar track "Giraffe Song."
The story and its execution are perfect. Even though we can completely customize Teen's appearance, they still feel like a defined character with fourth wall-breaking moments of exposition, identifiable struggles, and a kind heart. The narrative isn't preachy, even though it emphasizes inclusion, accessibility, acceptance, and individuality. It's just plain pleasant. I do wish that some narrative segments didn't only offer set outcomes, even if you managed to perfectly execute inputs. Also, the repeated use of the opening and closing themes, while designed to mimic an episodic show, can break up the flow of the story. I loved both tracks, and I'm still hearing PREP's tune in my head at random moments throughout my day even after not playing in quite some time, but it accentuates exactly how short some of these story segments can be in a negative way. Once I started skipping them, which is an option, I found it helped with the pacing.
![]()
![]()
The aesthetic in To a T is also great, though this is common for Keita Takahashi games. It resembles titles like Katamari Damacy and Wattam, with similar facial features on characters, unexpected anthropomorphic NPCs, occasional weirdness, and vibrant color palettes. It's a very distinct, poppy look. So as usual, everything stands out. Likewise, the music is lovely, with the songs with vocals being ridiculously catchy.
It's the To a T gameplay that can sometimes feel like it isn't on par with the game's story and appearance. There are no tutorials in the To a T, beyond actual inputs shared to show how to make Teen fly. I can appreciate why Uvula made this decision. Life doesn't come with an instruction manual, and it accentuates the struggle a person in a T-pose would face. But it means flailing through situations as you work out what each button should do, and even a few episodes in you might find yourself experimenting to figure out how to accomplish a thing. While you can send Teen around town to collect coins and play minigames so you can get things like more clothing, I honestly had more fun following the narrative than exploring.
While these may be patched out of the game by the time you're reading this, I did notice a few bugs in To a T too. The biggest one involved segments when I'd need to adjust Teen's positioning to go through doors or narrow gaps. You're supposed to turn the right analog stick slightly on the PS5, then press with left one at the same time. Except more than a few times, after getting into the new room or area, Teen would immediately turn back around and go into the last spot. I even stopped holding the right analog stick once the animation started, in case it was my own doing somehow, and nope! I tried using a different controller. It kept happening. (I found disconnecting the DualSense, then reconnecting, helped.) There would be times when I felt like actions should have triggered, based on my input, but they wouldn't register. (This especially happened with the face washing minigame.)
![]()
![]()
![]()
Of course, some of the issues came down to the controls and execution just being poorly handled and unexplained. The TV is the best example of this. On the PS5 at least, managing to aim the remote at the proper spot to make it spin, especially as it rises up, proved quite frustrating. There's also a minigame involving catching ice cream that is more annoying than fulfilling. In general, I think I'd suggest that sometimes these moments can last a bit too long. I'll admit being flummoxed at how long the first interactive activity on the first moments with Teen carried on.
What does work well are the accessibility option. The input to fly in To a T can be a bit tricky. It involves using the analog sticks to spin. However, it can be shortened and tied to triggers instead. It's really encouraging! Especially since the game as a whole works to spread a message about inclusion and acceptance.
To a T looks gorgeous and I found the game's story charming, but the gameplay isn't always entertaining due to certain design choices. Dropping us into Teen's world with no explanation about controls can get confusing. The episodic nature is also fine, but can breaks up the pace in an unpleasant way. Fans of Keita Takahashi will be pleased, but others may want to try the demo before they hop onto T's unicycle.
To a T is available on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.

Critter companions are loyal and adorable allies who follow you all around the village in Disney Dreamlight Valley. For a limited time, you can help create one by voting in the community companion project.
The choices made by the community during this event will directly shape what type of animal this critter is, what they're wearing, and other such details to truly give players a unique new companion. If you're interested in having a say in how it turns out, here's how to vote for the community companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to help create community critter companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley
![]()
You can participate in creating the community companion by visiting the official create a community companion page. This process cannot be completed from Disney Dreamlight Valley and is only available to tackle at this website.
All critter companion options in Disney Dreamlight Valley
There are five stages in the critter creation process, all of which can be voted on by the community. New options become available each day, so there are plenty of options to choose from. Here's a breakdown of all the different categories you can vote on.
![]()
How long is voting open for the community companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
There's a new poll for the community created critter daily from June 5 to 9, and each stage is only open for a single day. The entire voting process ends on June 9, so you need to cast a vote each day to contribute to this process.
During each stage of the voting process, there's a countdown displayed on the voting page to highlight how long is left before it closes. As soon as one stage ends, another begins daily until all aspects have been selected, and the event concludes on June 9.
When will the community companion be released in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
According to the official voting website, the critter companion created by the community will join all players in late 2025 in one of the upcoming free updates. The June 4 developer showcase that revealed the Skull Rock update also teased three other updates coming throughout the rest of the year.
These updates are Inside Out in summer 2025, more Beauty and the Beast characters in fall 2025, and Cinderella in winter 2025. The community-created companion could be released in any of these updates, but it likely will be either the fall or winter when it's released, since the devs likely need some time to make it once the voting ends.
![]()
When you're done casting your votes for the community critter companion, consider tackling some Dreamlight Parks Fest event quests since it won't be around for much longer. Some good duties to get done are Mine Time!, Oh, Bother, Squirrel!, and A Shining Icon.

If you want to make the best of each race, then learning how to do a starting speed boost is vital in Mario Kart World to give you that couple of extra seconds of a lead at the start of the match to try to hold onto first place.
A Starting Speed Boost, also known as a Rocket Start, has been a mainstay in Mario Kart games for a while now, and when done correctly, gives you a tiny speed boost at the start of a race to give you a head start in acceleration and can sometimes be the difference between placements. Every little helps after all.
How to get a Rocket Start in Mario Kart World
![]()
To get a Rocket Start in Mario Kart World, wait until the countdown timer appears and wait for the number "2" to appear. The moment it appears, wait until the split second before the number 2 fades, and hold down the A button. If you hold the A button all the way until the end of the countdown, your character should perform a successful Rocket Start.
If you hold the A button down too early or too soon, then either the Rocket Start won't happen at all, or your car will stall, putting you further behind the competition for unsuccessfully completing the Boost Start. It comes with risks, after all, even if it's easy to do once you get the timing right.
In previous games, there has been a perfect Speed Boost, but that doesn't appear to be in this title, unfortunately. Either way, try to get used to the timing and you'll be knocked out Rocket Starts in every race and increasingyour chances of winning any of the game modes, from Grand Prix, to the new Battle Royale modes.

The character list doesn't include costumes, which can be unlocked by playing that character and finding different food items in the overworld or while in a race. Doing so will unlock a costume at random and each character has a couple each to collect.
