     Lies of P director more

Lies of P is unashamed of its obsession with FromSoftware games - the soulslike is not only heavily inspired by them, but it had the goal of becoming an all-time great in the genre. To an extent, I'd say it achieved that goal - while maybe not as exceptional as Elden Ring or Bloodborne, it delivers all the dark, challenging RPG action you'd want, while wrapping it up in a novel setting with a distinct style. With its Overture DLC coming this year, Lies of P's director has been revealing a few more details about it, as well as admitting how his recent admiration for Elden Ring Nightreign has made him "open to considering" making co-op games - and I wonder if that may be an omen for Lies of P's in-development sequel.

After 10 years, Obsidian is adding turn-based combat to Pillars of Eternity

Pillars of Eternity has always been revered as a brilliant CRPG, and today marks its tenth birthday. It's also recently returned to many gamers' attention, or blipped onto their radars for the first time, thanks to the high-profile release of Avowed, which is set in the world of Eora that PoE created. With both of these moments in mind, Obsidian has just announced a big surprise for fans of the RPG. Despite it being hard at work supporting Avowed, getting The Outer Worlds 2 ready for launch later this year, and no doubt concocting some new projects for the future, Obsidian has found the time to develop a game-changing feature for good old Pillars of Eternity. Later this year, it'll be getting turn-based combat.

HoYoVerse released a new Genshin Impact Web Event called A Tranquil Day, focusing on new five-star character Varesa. Players will be able to earn up to 80 Primogems by playing, which can be used in the main game's gacha system. You can play it yourself here.

In order to receive rewards, players will need to link a game account that has reached at least Adventure Rank 10. The event is set to last until April 8, 2025, after which earned rewards will no long be available to claim.

Recently, UGREEN announced a line of charging cables and power accessories themed around the Genshin character Kinich. Meanwhile, Kadokawa announced it would be publishing the official Genshin Impact cookbook in Japanese.

Mohamed Salah in EA FC 25

UEFA Dreamchasers Team 2 cards will be available soon in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, and you can find a major crux of the new additions in different packs.

The second week will be a direct continuation of the first, and it will feature special cards of current superstars, former Icons, and Heroes. While most of the cards will be added to packs, a few of them will be released via SBCs and objectives. EA Sports has remained tight-lipped about which items will appear next, but the social media leaks have given us a glimpse of what to expect.

All EA FC 25 Dreamchasers Team 2 players (leaked)

With the release date of the Team 2 close, we have got the first set of leaks. I am sure that we will find more names as we get closer to the release date, and any new leak will be added to the list.

  • Mohamed Salah
  • Robert Lewandowski
  • Federico Valverde
  • Joshua Kimmich
  • Nuno Mendes
  • Alisson Becker
  • Leon Bailey
  • Kaka
  • Gerd Muller (SBC)

While some of the names on this list already have special cards in Ultimate Team, the upcoming versions will have better stats, playstyles, and roles. Naturally, it's fair to expect that some of these cards will be extremely expensive to acquire from the market. Make sure to be on the lookout for Icons, which are likely going to get three playstyle+.

EA FC 25 Dreamchasers Team 2 release date

Dreamchasers Team 2 will be released on Friday, March 28, and the cards will replace the Team 1 items. The new cards will be released at 6 pm UK time once again, and you can start opening the packs to find the new cards. Do note that what you pack will ultimately depend on your luck.

Week 1 saw some fantastic SBCs like Dayot Upamecano and Ousmane Dembele. I am hoping to see such content being released during the second week, and it should provide an excellent opportunity for players to reinforce their squads. We will have detailed guides about all of them to help you complete the challenges without spending any coins on fodder.

Cloak and Dagger in Marvel Rivals

Fans of hero shooter Marvel Rivals have turned their attention fully towards season two of the game, as season one is winding down its final weeks.

The first official season of the game, after an introductory season zero at launch, began in January and has rolled on for the past several months with the Fantastic Four as additions. But with a little more than two weeks left in season one, whatever comes next in season two is next on everyone's minds.

The discussion in a March 26 Reddit thread was meant to be centered around what kind of balance changes players wanted to see for heroes who need nerfs or buffs when season two rolls around, but it was quickly hijacked by players who are more concerned with one huge part of the game: matchmaking in Competitive mode.

Several Marvel Rivals players in the thread agreed that the game desperately needs placement matches to help decide where a player is ranked when a new season begins, which it did have during the game's beta tests. Without them, players think that the ranks and matchmaking in Competitive mode are eschewed one way or the other.

"Need to improve matchmaking as a whole," the top commenter said. "Far too many lopsided games. I'm only in platinum but that's been my experience." They were not alone in this assessment, and I'd have to also agree. Marvel Rivals feels like a bit of a coin flip in Competitive, whether you will steam roll the opposition, or be the one who gets steam rolled, and many think that placement matches could alleviate this problem.

"This is the biggest change I'm hoping for," another gamer agreed. "I don't care if Bucky and Hela are running lobbies as long as they beat me fair and square in a balanced match."

However, it may not be placement matches that's the issue or the fix. Players have been very vocal about the issue with smurfs trouncing lower ranks, and an issue with how you get way more rank points for wins than you lose points in losses, and this is creating a problem where players aren't ranked where they're supposed to be.

"I strongly believe the matchmaking itself is fine," one detractor posted. "The problem is rank inflation, there are too many people in GM that got there simply by spamming 500 games with 45 percent winrate and people who got there in less than 50 games with 65 percent winrate and there are such a big skill gap between these two types of players, that's what is making the game quality so terrible."

There's a long wishlist of changes that players would like to see in Marvel Rivals for season two, but an adjustment to how Competitive mode works is definitely near the top of the list. Hopefully, NetEase will address these concerns and more ahead of the launch of the new season on April 11.
