Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest ended yesterday with a bit of a plop. There were some interesting announcements, including a June 16 release date for TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, but The Geoffening was mostly overshadowed by the smaller Day of the Devs presentation that immediately followed. Still, Keigh3—or whatever…

A Dragon Age Netflix animated series is releasing this winter

BioWare announced the first Dragon Age Netflix series during Geeked Week, Dragon Age: Absolution. It's an animated series launching on Netflix in December 2022, and while it takes place in a location familiar to Dragon Age: Inquisition fans, the ensemble is entirely new. The news comes just days after BioWare announced  the official name of Dragon Age 4.

Absolution will take place in Tevinter, a key location in Dragon Age: Inquisition, and features a fresh cast of characters drawn from Dragon Age lore, including elves, knights, Qunari, demons, and mages.  BioWare and Netflix also teased "other special surprises" for the cast, and while there's still no word yet on when in Dragon Age's timeline Absolution falls, we'd be surprised if there's not at least the smallest hint of connection to some of the franchise's more well-known figures.

Mairghread Scott (Guardians of the Galaxy series) is Dragon Age: Absolution's showrunner, and Red Dog Culture House will produce the show. Red Dog is also handling The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf for Netflix and worked on Good Hunting, an animated short included in the Love, Death + Robots compilation.

Here's where Xur is in Destiny 2 today

Xûr is Destiny 2's Exotic gear merchant. He appears every weekend to sell the game's most coveted items in exchange for Legendary shards, but if you're a casual player with limited shards to spend, it can be hard to know which of his wares is most worth your investment. That's where we come in.

As of June 12, 2020, it appears that Xûr is back to providing random rolls - so the Exotic merchant is providing more excitement than he has in a long time. Xûr appears every Friday at 10am PDT / 1pm EDT / 6pm BST, and will stick around until the Tuesday reset. We'll update this guide shortly after he arrives, so if you're reading this, you need only read on to learn where he is, and which are the best items he's selling this week.

Now we're in Beyond Light territory, but Xûr's first appearances have been at the usual spots - so maybe don't expect too many surprises from the merchant in the new year of Destiny content.

The best Diablo Immortal class for every type of player

Want to know which Diablo Immortal class you should pick? It may shock you to learn that there's a PC version of the mobile RPG game Blizzard initially said wasn't coming to PC. That's great for those of you who prefer to play by frantically clicking your mouse rather than tapping your thumbs, but the main takeaway here is that there's a new Diablo game.

Set between the events of Diablo 2 and Diablo 3, your chosen adventurer must deal with the consequences of Archangel Tyrael's sacrifice, and prevent the Lord of Terror's minions from rebuilding the shattered Worldstone. If you've been playing Diablo for a while, you may already have picked your favourite Diablo Immortal class and be familiar with how it'll play. However, if this is your first time venturing into Blizzard's hellish realm, you may be seeking a little to help you defeat the demonic beasts who are relishing the chance to rend your flesh.

Do you go with the savage Barbarian who can use deadly melee attacks to chop, lop, and crop any foes in their way? Perhaps the Demon Hunter's unique combination of stealth and ranged techniques is more your cup of the proverbial. Still no? If you'd rather take a back seat and keep your hands clean, then you'll probably love the idea of summoning minions with the Necromancer and getting them to do your bidding. There are six wildly different classes in Diablo Immortal, so let's go over each one and explain how they play.

     Diablo Immortal player count:

Blizzard has sent out a tweet announcing the Diablo Immortal player count, saying that the new free-to-play RPG game is "the biggest launch" in series history. According to the tweet, Diablo Immortal has now reached over 10 million installs. It is of course worth noting that Diablo Immortal is a free game across PC, iOS, and Android devices - so this comparison goes up against previous games in the series which required a purchase to play.

This news will no doubt be welcomed by Activision Blizzard, after the action-RPG game's launch has been surrounded with several controversies regarding its microtransaction systems. Principal designer Joe Grubb says that Diablo Immortal's microtransactions never circumvent core gameplay. However, the game's monetisation options have caused its release to be blocked in several countries.

In addition, a recent controversy sparked up when a YouTuber uncovered hidden caps to Diablo Immortal loot drops that restrict the amount of daily progress players can make, which makes the free-to-play grind even slower. There have also been discussions about the potential amount that players can spend on the game, with some people claiming figures upwards of $100,000 USD can be invested into leveling a single character.

You could test Escape from Tarkov Arena

Escape From Tarkov players will be recruited as testers for the extraction battle royale game's upcoming spinoff Escape From Tarkov Arena. Speaking on Battlestate Games' Twitch channel (and handily summarised on the EFT subreddit) studio COO Nikita Buyanov explains that the "most active" players on Tarkov's early test service, and a selection of general players (so, anybody) will be chosen for the opportunity to try the game's first live test later this year.

Similar to the main Escape From Tarkov experience, Arena will feature custom game modes, and challenge players to complete in-game objectives. Alhough these will serve as optional tasks rather than full quests, they will crossover with the main game and help build your character's progress.

If you're already an Escape From Tarkov player, you will also be able to use your character, plus any presets and gear you have in your stash, in Arena. If not – if you've never played EFT before, and Arena is your first foray this brutal battle royale – you will nevertheless still be able to play in the same games and servers as everybody else.

The Quarry ending guide – how to save everyone

Want to get the best The Quarry ending? Unlike most slasher films, The Quarry allows players to save every important character in the same playthrough. This is easier said than done, however, as this horror game features many choices, prompts, and quick time events. It doesn't help that some decisions made at the beginning won't come to fruition until much later, and given how saving progress works, you need to replay the game to get a different outcome.

We recommend making a manual save at the start of every chapter. You must complete difficult quick time event challenges to get the best The Quarry ending. If you fail any of these challenges, these manual saves easily allow you to retry without playing the entire game again. Unfortunately, you can't make manual saves in-game, so you'll need to open Windows Explorer and navigate to the Users folder in your boot drive. From there, open your Username's folder and continue to AppData > Local > TheQuarry > Saved. Next, copy and paste the files inside this folder to another location. You can paste these files into the Saved folder to go back if you make a mistake.

In order to make things easier for you, we've separated all key choices into chapter headers. We've also tried our best to keep things as vague as possible, but there may still be minor spoilers in the paragraphs ahead.

Windows 11 update blip puts OS on unsupported gaming PCs

A Windows 11 update has accidentally rolled out to unsupported devices, raising questions over the operating system's strict TPM requirements. Dubbed ' Sun Valley 2', the first major OS was unintentionally pushed to nearly every machine enrolled on the Windows Insider Program, but Microsoft insists the blip was a bug.

Over on Reddit, users are sharing evidence of the Windows 11 update incident, which lead to incompatible builds receiving the yet-to-be-released overhaul (via Techradar). User Clean-Application130 highlights a message that states their Intel Skylake gaming PC now meets minimum requirements, despite the fact the CPU doesn't pass Microsoft's TPM standards.

The update has now been removed, and Microsoft says it's investigating the situation. The software giant also insists that its requirements have not changed, but the rollout quirk suggests that TPM restrictions aren't explicitly linked to incompatibility. That's not to say you should install Windows 11 on an unsupported machine, as there could still be security concerns when it comes to workarounds.

Activision will (and must) negotiate with Warzone dev union

Bobby Kotick, CEO of Activision Blizzard, says in a letter to employees that the company will recognise and negotiate with the Call of Duty: Warzone developer union formed by Raven Software QA workers. An unsurprising statement, as this action is the bare minimum that the company is now required by law to undertake. Following the formation of the Raven Software union, which was successfully approved in a vote on May 23, Activision Blizzard and Kotick are now legally obligated to both recognise and negotiate with the union.

In the letter, which was also shared with investors, Kotick opens by saying that "we will engage in good faith negotiations to enter into a collective bargaining agreement." He says that Activision Blizzard representatives "will meet Communications Workers of America leaders at the bargaining table and work toward an agreement that supports the success of all employees."

He follows this up by talking about their recent investments in QA members, mentioning the recent raise in starting pay for QA staff and the move of temporary QA workers to full-time positions. Crucially, however, the letter doesn't note that these moves were part of union-busting efforts from Activision Blizzard that encouraged workers not to sign up for union movements. In addition, the QA workers at Raven Software who were in the process of trying to form their union at the time were excluded from these raises.

New Warzone map – Warzone 2 release date speculation, leaks, and more

Want to know more about the new Warzone map? With Warzone 2's release date scheduled for October 2022, it's only a matter of time before Warzone 2's map is officially revealed. Infinity Ward has designed the map this time around - if Verdansk is anything to go by, we can expect some Modern Warfare 2 maps to be spread out across the huge level.

If you haven't been keeping up to date with Modern Warfare 2 release date, you might be surprised to know that the devs want to unify the Call of Duty experience. This means any story beats and engine upgrades in Modern Warfare 2 also apply to Warzone 2. The devs have made huge upgrades to vehicles, the AI, and water, so you can expect to see these changes reflected on the new Warzone map.

Warzone 2 may be running on the same engine as Modern Warfare 2, but the battle royale game is going to be available on last generation consoles. This inherently introduces a number of limitations to the game, so don't expect the next map to be considerably larger than Verdansk or Caldera. Here's everything we know about the new Warzone map so far.

     Diablo Immortal tier list

Searching for a Diablo Immortal tier list? There's nothing worse in an RPG game than investing countless hours into leveling your character only to discover they don't suit your play style. With six Diablo Immortal classes to pick from and only five character slots per server, hardcore players are going to have to make a tough decision sooner or later.

We've taken a close look at every class to determine their place on the Diablo Immortal tier list. There are classes that specialise in crowd control, but perform badly against bosses, and then there's other aspects like PvP and Challenge Rifts to factor in. It's important to note that Diablo Immortal is frequently updated, so it's entirely possible that the worst class on our list could soon become the best after a balance patch.

In the future, players will have the option to change their class on the fly using the Class Change mechanic, first revealed on a Diablo Immortal blog post. Until then, you're going to have to settle with the characters you create.

The best Diablo Immortal Necromancer build for PvP and PvE

Wondering how to craft the best Necromancer build in Diablo Immortal? It seems self-explanatory on the surface – dark mage summons dead people for battle – but Diablo Immortal's Necromancer class has a surprising amount of flexibility in how you send your foes into the great beyond. Despite being burdened with low mobility, the Necromancer excels in PvE and PvP combat.

The best Diablo Immortal Necromancer build covers a broad range of areas, including distance attacks and support skills. There's a good deal of flexibility in how you approach these skills too. You could opt for a support Necromancer, for example, or a master of summons who destroys all in their path. If you're playing with a Clan, make sure to consider how your build may complement your party members as well.

This guide covers the best skills for your Necromancer and what kind of combat style to focus on for both PvE and PvP modes. We'll also cover the best Diablo Immortal gems you should prioritize to boost those skills and get the most from one of Diablo Immortal's most unique classes.

     Saints Row system requirements

Saints Row system requirements have arrived, but Deep Silver is holding back on any recommendations. Instead, the developer has shared the minimum your gaming PC will need to run the sandbox crime caper, and its demands are surprisingly reasonable.

According to Deep Silver's Saints Row system requirements, you won't need the best graphics card to run the reboot, as it'll work on an Nvidia GTX 970. Naturally, opting to use an older GPU means you'll potentially miss out on GeForce RTX benefits, as the game could arrive with DLSS upscaling support.

You'll need to make sure your rig is packing 8GB RAM before diving into the new Saints Row. As with all open-world games, more memory should help your gaming PC cope, especially when it comes to rendering sprawling cityscapes and skylines. Before embarking on a mission to download Saints Row, make sure to free up at least 50GB on your SSD or hard drive, especially if chonky games like Call of Duty: Warzone are dominating your storage.

     The Quarry cast and characters

What to know who The Quarry cast and characters are? In much the same spirit as Until Dawn and Supermassive Games' The Dark Chronicles series, The Quarry follows the fate of several teenage camp counsellors as they remain stranded in Hackett's Quarry Summer Camp long after the kids have gone home. But, as they prepare for one last blowout party, it becomes clear that something terrifying is hunting them down in this slasher interactive horror movie.

With some rather impressive motion capture technology - and a mix of stars of cult horror films and up-and-coming actors - it's relatively easy to tell who The Quarry cast and characters are by looking at them. However, a few faces may be a little harder to recognise.

You can opt to play on your own and get the best The Quarry ending, but it's perhaps best experienced with friends, either online with everyone voting at crucial decision moments or locally by passing the controller to whichever person chooses to have control of that character. With 16 characters in The Quarry, that means each player has to take on multiple roles at a time.

Ducky One 3 review – Fuji TKL gaming keyboard edition

You'd think it'd be difficult for a dedicated gaming keyboard maker like Ducky to stand out against behemoths like Razer, Corsair, and Logitech, but here we are, and the Ducky One 3 is a sight to behold - especially the Fuji TKL edition. It's built like a brick, but its colour palette looks as elegant as the cherry blossoms in spring, and it offers a whole lot of value in its price tag.

The best thing about the Ducky One 3 is its customisability. You can choose from a bunch of different sizes, including the full whack, TKL without the numpad, SF (65%), and a Mini 60% model that forgoes the arrow keys. There's the mechanical switches underneath, which range from Cherry MX Speed Silver to MX Silent. And there's a ton of eye-catching colourways to suit your setup.

You could stick with your bog standard backlit black if you fancy, but if you don't mind sacrificing the RGB LEDs, there are a good few designs on offer. Daybreak is a wonderful deep blue with grey and yellow tones; Matcha blends a pastel green with a cream backdrop; and the model we're testing today, Fuji combines pinks with navy blue. Sure, the lack of lights might turn some away and it's nice to have the option, but I'd argue anything more would be overkill.

Modder tires of waiting for Steam Deck dock, makes own instead

A modder has created 3D printed Steam Deck dock, and it almost looks like an official accessory. The custom cradle is designed to prop up the portable powerhouse while housing a USB-C hub, effectively emulating the experience of the delayed Valve docking station.

Shared by Hannover2k on Reddit, the custom Steam Deck dock features a contoured design that matches the portable chonky posterior. An angled stand emblazoned with the handheld's logo keeps the device at a convenient angle, and a vented USB-C hub compartment serves as a way to arm the 3D printed project with IO.

The tech tinkerer's project is designed specifically to house a Dockteck 7-in-1 Hub, a docking station alternative that wields HDMI out, an ethernet port, two USB 3.0 ports, and 100W power delivery capabilities. Just like the official dock, its wire runs up the Steam Deck's back and into its connector using an angled USB-C adapter, which should help you manage cables while it sits on your desk.

New Blade Runner game rumoured to be in development

A new Blade Runner game, which would mark the first major outing for the sci-fi series since the beloved 1997 point-and-click adventure by Westwood, is rumoured to be in development and could release in 2025, according to a reputable industry leaker.

Tom Henderson, who has previously produced accurate leaks on Battlefield: 2042, and is also known for leaking news on GTA 6 and the upcoming Modern Warfare 2, claims that British developer 110 Industries has acquired the license to create a new game based on Blade Runner, and recently announced the news to employees at its new studio in Vaud, Switzerland.

Ridley Scott, director of the original 1982 Blade Runner film, has confirmed that a new television series, Blade Runner 2099, is in development with Amazon. If the franchise is set to undergo a revival, following the superb but financially underperforming Blade Runner 2049, it seems possible that a new video game could be in the works. 110 Industries also seems like a suitable fit for the sci-fi licence. The studio currently has three games in development – racing sim Red Goes Faster, mech shooter Vengeance Is Mine, and the hack-and-slash Wanted: Dead – all of which take place in neon-soaked, grimy dystopias similar to the world of Blade Runner.

Diablo Immortal server list for PC and mobile

Looking for the Diablo Immortal server list? Before you can begin smashing through Sanctuary's army of undead, you've got to pick a server. Diablo Immortal doesn't include cross-server play or character transfers, so if you're playing with friends it's vital that you decide which server to play in. Thankfully, Blizzard Entertainment has released a complete list of servers for different regions and languages, so you and your friends can work out which server to join for co-op dungeon-delving or brutal PvP brawls.

As the Diablo Immortal server list shows, the game has support for many different languages. You may want to ensure that the server you join has players that speak the same dialect. If performance is your priority, the server you pick should be one close to you to reduce latency.

When you first boot up the RPG game, you're automatically assigned a server in your region. However, you can choose to change your Diablo Immortal server by clicking the arrow next to the server name, then using the options available to choose your region and server.

Genshin Impact's Wiki is so massive it now has its own speedrun

Genshin Impact's Wiki, as you might expect, is vast, so much so that navigating through it could be considered a game in itself – a game now complete with its own speedrun.

Enviosity, a Genshin Twitch streamer whose other accolades include finishing Floor 12 of the Abyss with only free characters and defeating the weekly boss Azhdaha without taking any damage, has proved themselves a true Archon by battling through the game's extremely substantial Wiki, start to finish, in world-record time.

Well, in a way. This isn't a true speedrun – it isn't ranked and people aren't competing for it – but it creates a fun challenge for Genshin fans to try and beat. The rules of Enviosity's run are simple: use a random generator to select a start page and an ending page, and navigate from one to the other as quickly as possible. The contents and navigation bars are not allowed, and you can't click forward or back – to get from, say, Reckless Pallad, the NPC from Venti's story quest, to the Dream Solvent, an item obtained from weekly bosses, you can only rely on your quick scrolling and clicking, and an encyclopaedic knowledge of Genshin Impact.

AMD Zen 5 CPUs now have an official release date window

AMD Zen 5 is now officially a thing, and the company's future gen chips are scheduled to arrive in two years' time. The red team includes its best gaming CPU contender in a new roadmap alongside upcoming Zen 3+ and Zen 4 lineups, including gaming PC and laptop variants.

Revealed during the company's Financial Analyst Day 2022, the AMD Zen 5 roadmap doesn't cover the CPU range's potential release date, price, specs, or benchmarks. Previous rumours suggest they could use TSMC 3nm process, replacing Zen 4's 5nm nodes.

AMD has shared roadmaps for future 'Strix Point' APUs and desktop 'Granite Ridge' CPUs, all of which are expected to release between now and 2024. In addition, the company's release graphic also confirms Zen 4 Threadripper chips are on the horizon, and updated Zen 3+ laptop processors will also pop up down the line.

Genshin Impact 2.8 release date, banners, and rumours

Want to know when the Genshin Impact 2.8 release date is? Despite the 2.7 update delay that disrupted Hoyoverse's usual six week development cycle for the anime game, the studio has already announced an expected release date for the next update, version 2.8, well in advance of when we would usually find out.

Current rumours suggest we'll get a new Genshin Impact character, but there will also be new Genshin Impact events and other new content to work through as well.

Despite the fact that Genshin Impact 2.7 has only recently been released, there are still plenty of rumours circulating for us to compile into one place. Ever since Diablo Immortal launched amid a storm of controversy last week, people have been trying to work out how much it really costs to play this theoretically free game. I'll be honest that maths has never been my strongest suit, but figuring out how games work under-the-hood is one of my favourite things to do. So I've spent most of this week chasing answers, and I've come up with a ballpark estimate of what it would cost to max out your character. The answer is: £46,000, or $51,000, to fully equip your character with the best gear as quickly as possible using premium currencies.

One time in the office (so, a hundred years ago) a hypothetical was posed: if you were given the chance to go to the moon, with a guarantee that nothing would go wrong, would you take it? "No," I said. "No way. Not a chance. I wouldn't like it." People were shocked at my refusal. "But nothing will go wrong!" they exclaimed. This misses the universal truth that even - and indeed, especially - when it is guaranteed nothing will go wrong, something will always go wrong in space.

Honestly, who can say that they've played a video game set on a space station and not encountered at least one deserted corridor plunged into darkness, but with one spotlight tipped over onto its side to cast ominous shadows? Raise your hands. Terror in space has never gone out of fashion, really, but the source of the terror does seem to go in cycles. In the 2010s a lot of the danger came from an AI gone a bit sinister and funny. As we saw at last night's Summer Game Fest, though, the monsters are back, baby.

Staff who worked for Bethesda on post-apocalyptic multiplayer RPG Fallout 76 have come forward to share their stories from its development, and they don't make for pleasant reading. Developers who spoke anonymously to Kotaku said they'd crunched in ten-hour shifts over six days a week prior to Fallout 76's launch, with some saying they fantasised about being injured to avoid having to come into work the following day.

Genshin Impact June 2022 Calendar Stars Lisa

For the second month in a row, an Electro character's been featured on an official piece of Genshin Impact art. Each month, HoYoVerse shares free calendar images on the Japanese Twitter account. When it comes to the June 2022 Genshin Impact calendar, Lisa is the star.

Here's the Genshin Impact Lisa calendar for June 2022.
Genshin Impact June 2022 Calendar Stars Lisa 1

How it works is that each month, a character whose birthday falls in that month is the featured person in the image. Both Itto and Paimon's birthdays fall on June 1, 2022. Perhaps because there were two on the same day, it meant the next person's special day would be picked. That would be Genshin Impact heroine Lisa, whose birthday fell on June 9, 2022.

As for other character birthdays this month, here's a list of the ones coming up. On that day in-game, HoYoVerse sends out a gift to players' inboxes that consists of a food item and materials connected to that person.

  • June 16, 2022: Venti
  • June 21, 2022: Yoimiya
  • June 26, 2022: Raiden Shogun
  • June 27, 2022: Yae Miko

Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices. It will also come to the Nintendo Switch. The 2.7 update is now available.

Digimon Survive Story Trailer

Bandai Namco shared a new trailer for Digimon Survive that focuses on its story and characters. The video provides a glimpse at Digimon that will appear in the game alongside their partners too.

Other elements came up as well. It showcased how story segments will play out, which will proceed like those in visual novels. Combat came up too. This included a look at the "Skill Point" system, which can be used to Digivolve your Digimon. Several in-battle skills appeared in the trailer, such as the ability to heal allied Digimon.

You can watch the Digmon Survive trailer below.

[embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4d6mKKZdfCY&ab_channel=BandaiNamcoEntertainment[/embed]

Digimon Survive is a story-focused, turn-based strategy game. Player's choices will play an important role in how Augumon will Digivolve, with decisions sometimes appearing during conversations between characters. The game will have two gameplay systems. One will allow players to interact with other characters, while the other will be more "survival" focused. Players will also be able to discover hidden Digimon through the use their in-game camera. Taking pictures of suspicious spots can reveal hidden Digimon or reward players with items.

Digimon Survive will release for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on July 28, 2022.

Preview: Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course DLC Seems Filling 1

Since its launch, Cuphead's become something of a phenomenon. Its gone multiplatform. The soundtrack topped Billboard's jazz charts. Netflix is home to a cartoon based on it. Now the Cuphead game is about to experience the end of an era with the launch of The Delicious Last Course DLC.

The hands-off preview session began with some basics and an introduction to the new area. First, someone won't need to be a Cuphead master to access The Delicious Last Course DLC. Rather, they just need to be good enough to defeat a Mausoleum stage. If they accomplish that feat, the Legendary Chalice will send Cuphead and Mugman a message. From there, the duo will be directed to visit a new, specific Inkwell Isle. Once there, we learn exactly what's going on.

Preview Cuphead The Delicious Last Course DLC Could Be Filling

Essentially, Ms. Chalice is trapped in the astral plane. She can leave temporarily via Chef Saltbaker's cookies. If someone eats one, she gets borrowed time in the real world. The chef did come up with a stronger recipe for a Wondertart. In order to get the ingredients, the trio will need to defeat bosses on this new island. (There are no platforming stages here!) Collecting them all should provide Ms. Chalice a more permanent escape.

In keeping with her nature as a ghost, Ms. Chalice isn't a full playable character when people begin the DLC. Rather, she's tied to a cookie charm someone equips in a Charm Slot. However, once someone has that cookie, she can be used in the main game and new DLC island. As pointed out during the presentation, the new weapons and charms could be used be used in the main game. Specifically, the Crackshot weapon with a Parry Turret EX, a three-way Converge shot with an Electro-Bolt EX, and a Twist-Up arced shot with a Cyclone Spiral EX showed up during the hands-off preview.

Studio MDHR

If someone uses Ms. Chalice, there are a few differences in how she works. She has an extra HP point, compared to Cuphead and Mugman. Her roll makes her invincible as well. She has a double jump, which means a slightly larger range. Her dash also works as a parry. This could mean she might be a little more accessible for someone to use, as you have some extra wiggle room. One of her Super Arts is Spiral Pillar, which summons a pillar of energy to attack everything in a vertical line.

As for stages, a few came up. When heading in for the first time, people can choose simple or regular difficulty. The first one I saw was Mortimer Freeze. This started with a fight against an ice wizard. The foe would summon anthropomorphic icicles. After getting stuck in the ground, they'd walk off stage. The character would also sometimes use a whale to attack. After a certain amount of damage is done, the enemy will ring a bell to summon a suit of snow. After donning it, he stops floating and heads to the ground to attack more directly with snow, sharp pillars, and ice cubes. The third phase involved the character summoning icy platforms. The player then needs to ascend them to fight a snowflake version of the boss while jumping on rotating platforms. The opponent will send off an eye to act as a hazard. Floating buckets will also be thrown at the character.

Preview Cuphead The Delicious Last Course DLC Could Be Filling c

Right before the end, Ms. Chalice faced Ribby and Croaks. As the name suggested, they're a pair of boxing frogs. The taller of the two spits out fiery lightnings in the first phase, while the shorter sends out energy punches. Both stand on the right side of the screen during this portion. After being worn down a bit, the shorter of the two rolls to the opposite side of the screen. The shorter one sends out boss of energy to dodge, while the taller one spins and behaves like a fan blowing the player away. For the last part, the smaller frog rolls into the taller ones' mouth, and they combine into a giant slot machine. Coins shoot out of the slot. The arm will occasionally come down and be able to be parried. If someone does, the slots will spin. This will cause projectiles to be dispensed. The slot machine is only vulnerable when these projectiles are pouring out.

It seems like the Cuphead The Delicious Last Course DLC offers more of the stages the run and gun is known for. Especially since people are not only getting a new island to go through with Cuphead and Mugman, but a new character and extra weapons that can play slightly differently. During the hands-off preview, the exact playthrough time for the add-on was said to vary based on skill level. However, one estimate provided suggested it could be up to four hours for the new area alone.

The Cuphead The Delicious Last Course DLC will appear for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game on June 30, 2022. It will cost $7.99/€7.99/£6.79.

Street Fighter 6 Luke and Ryu Taunts Shown

Capcom's been gradually sharing more details about what to expect from the next Street Fighter game. The latest is a lighthearted video about an action folks can perform in fights. The newest clip shows taunts from Luke and Ryu during a Street Fighter 6 match.

The segment begins with a taunt from Ryu. He folds his arms over his chest and says, "Come on!" After that, Luke taunts him multiple times by making fun of Ryu performing a Hadoken.

Taunts have been present in Street Fighter games for years. In addition to the normal Street Fighter V ones, there are also taunting actions after certain moves. For example, Dan has an additional one after he performs a Critical Art.

Ahead of this reveal, Capcom used Luke and Ryu to show off the new Game Face feature. Before heading into a versus match, folks can change their characters' facial expressions.

Street Fighter 6 is in development for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. It will launch in 2023.

granblue fantasy relink delay

The Twitter account for Granblue Fantasy: Relink announced that the game will be delayed until 2023. Developer Yuito Kimura posted an apology notice, as well as an explanation for the delay, on the game's official website.  Additionally, Cygames was to release new information on the game in June 2022, but it will now do so in December 2022 instead.

According to the notice, the reason behind the Granblue Fantasy: Relink delay is to polish up the gameplay. Kimura also states that the novel coronavirus pushed back the schedule and is the main reason behind the delay. In terms of how much progress there is, the game's primary assets (such as audio, music, and main story set pieces) are complete. The team's remaining tasks include debugging and improving the graphics and gameplay experience.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink will be a console action-RPG spin-off of Granblue Fantasy. In late 2021, Cygames released a teaser trailer for it, which showed off how the gameplay and cutscenes will look. You will be able to play as main characters such as Rackam and Katalina. In addition, since the game shows both Gran and Djeeta, it is likely that you will be able to choose the gender of the player avatar.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is in the final stages of development and will come out sometime in 2023. More information will appear in December 2022. It will come out on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC. Granblue Fantasy is available on PC and mobile devices, and the fighting game Granblue Fantasy Versus is available on PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.

Forza Horizon 4 Hot Wheels Legends 2jetzIt appears that Hot Wheels and the Forza Horizon franchise are about to cross paths again, as a seemingly accidentally posted listing for Forza Horizon 5's first expansion offered a glimpse at the new partnership. With this potential leak, it looks like Horizon 5 players might soon relive the days of the insane track-based action that the series introduced with the Forza Horizon 3's Hot Wheels-themed crossover. The leaked Steam listing did not provide any specific details as to what this expansion will feature, but it did show off some key art that makes it seem like the content will hark back to Horizon 3's Hot Wheels expansion. There, players participated in events based on life-sized renditions of the classic orange Hot Wheels toy tracks, sporting insane jumps, rocket-powered boost pads, and animatronic dinos. These events took place on a fictional archipelago a few miles off the coast of Horizon 3's virtual Australia.   Burnin' rubber The key ar...

Project Warlock Ii Worth It 1The first Project Warlock was a game I was quite fond of in spite of the fact that I could hardly play it. I play a lot of first-person shooters, and the muzzle flashes in them rarely give me trouble. That game, however, absolutely blinded me every chance it got. I was worried Project Warlock II would be the same. Thankfully, it improved on that aspect. And while there are definitely parts I like more about the sequel so far than its predecessor, it still has things that ruffle my feathers. But the question stands: is Project Warlock II worth it in Early Access? When you start a new game in Project Warlock II, you have two difficulties: Go Easy on Me and Come Get Some. "Ah, easy and normal, huh?" you might think. Wrong! Normal and hard. I picked the latter and didn't realize I was even playing on hard until well past the point where I was willing to start over. Naturally, you can't change the difficulty without starting a new game. Project Warlock II has mult...

In the midst of a skit making parody of gaming marketing, the first trailer showcased was a release trailer for Cult of the Lamb. Developed by Massive Monster, and of course published by Devolver, Cult of the Lamb is a weirdly cute game centered around a lamb who was saved by a mysterious figure right before execution. You are tasked to build a religion in the name of the figure who saved you, and in this release date trailer you see the lamb saving a cute pig about to be eaten. You then take this pig and show him how great the community is, all while hiding a sinister backdrop. Two animals are seen digging a hole and dumping a body. It then pans to an animal chiseling a statue of the lamb, and in the back of the head is the cleverly placed release date of August 11.   Cult of the Lamb 101: How to run your cult In Cult of the ...

Skate Story 2The world of skateboarding video games has become a sprawling landscape of titles within the last decade. The genre has been primarily dominated by more arcade-y games like Skate and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. But, the industry has shown that there are more ways to tell the stories of boarders and their rides outside of trick attacks and score combos. Skate Story is proof of that, melding demonic entities, people made of glass, and tricks into a new game coming out in 2023. We got a new trailer for it last night during the Devolver Digital Showcase 2022.
