DLSS and DLSS 2 work by rendering frames at a lower resolution to reduce the stress placed on your GPU, before cleverly reconstructing the final image to your chosen output resolution, while DLSS 3 creates entire new frames using AI. Meanwhile, DLSS 3.5 uses similar AI-enhanced techniques to help improve ray tracing quality. You'll need a GPU from the GeForce RTX lineup in order to use any of the Nvidia DLSS features. Meanwhile, Nvidia DLSS 3 requires an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4000 series GPU or newer. This is one of the key differences between DLSS and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) and Intel XeSS, as both of these work on all brands of graphics card. When will developer Zeekerss give us a proper singleplayer campaign mode, the loners of the gaming community wondered, peering from their boltholes and eyries. A Lethal Sole Trader, as it were - or failing that, how about some bot support? Well, this particular monkeypaw finger has curled. It curled about four years ago, actually, when Zeekerss released singleplayer-only horror compilation It Steals. I've been playing It Steals (available on Itch and Steam for £4 or $5) as part of our latest Lethal Company-dedicated Game Club, and let me tell you, it makes Lethal Company look positively, er, Nonlethal. There are many points of comparison between games, but while Lethal Company is geared more obviously for laughs, with its whoopie cushions and ReactionTube-friendly co-op mechanics, It Creeps just wants to scare you shitless. It's also brilliant. |

This is true! It's also janky, and the RNG on the weird, warren-like buildings prompted me to ask "Who designed this? What is this for? What kind of office is this??" out loud, as I faced yet another dead end full of pipes. And yet! There's something about it that endears me to it far more than other similar games like Phasmophobia. Games like this all largely rely on you making your own fun with the tools they provide, but I think we should give the Lethal Company devs props for their tools, because they are weird and make no sense, and allow for some fantastic slapstick. |

The price for this bundle - which includes a new mode, a bigger stash, and assorted gubbins - comes in at $250, or around two actual hundred actual pounds, but the price alone isn't necessarily what's got a section of the player base so tarked-off that a few of them are even loudly considering a lawsuit. The actual issue is twofold: the edition is being called pay-to-win, and is also the only way to access said new PvE co-op mode, despite players previously shelling out notable nuggets for what was pitched as access to "all subsequent DLCs" as part of the now-delisted Edge of Darkness edition. |

Yuuki Oooka, the producer of Hololive's Holoearth, has posted an update on what the team has been working on, as well as what beta players can expect in 2024. The full update includes an expected roadmap, as well as a tentative May 2025 release window.
To start with, Oooka said tests for the video streaming feature, avatar creation system, and simulation room went very well. The team learned a lot about what worked and what people wanted, and are using feedback to continue working on everything. Oooka also apologized for the delay of Version 0.7.0. This delay was to improve stability and quality.
Version 0.7.0 will come out in May 2024 and will focus on the lifestyle experience. Version 0.8.0 will come out in June 2024, focusing on the sandbox environment. This will include more survival and combat mechanics, as well as enemies. The final update for the year should be Version 0.9.0, which will come out in the summer.
The development team should finish most of its work on the avatar creation system, lobby, sandbox game, and Alternative City within 2024. These are the basic elements and core systems for Hololive's Holoearth. Oooka also announced that the team will release game content other than the sandbox game, as well as a private area for the player. However, it's unknown when they'll be in the game. There will also be two more features, though it's a secret for now.
Finally, Holoearth will not have an official 2024 release. Part of this is due to deliberation as to what counts as the end of the beta test and what counts as the official release. Because the team wants the game to be a game that is constantly being developed, it decided to maintain the beta version instead of switching over to an official release version.
Holoearth Version 1.0.0 (which is pretty much an official release) should come out some time in May 2025.

Pre-orders have opened for the Honkai: Star Rail glasses from Zoff. The glasses, along with cases and cleaning clothes featuring a limited design, will be open for pre-order until May 19, 2024 and they'll come out in late November 2024.
The glasses cost 12,200 JPY ($78) each. This includes the frames, the lenses, the case, and the cleaning cloth. You can pre-order them from sites like the official Zoff online store or its Rakuten page. These storefronts do not offer international shipping though.
In total, there are four variations of Honkai: Star Rail glasses—Kafka, Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae, Aventurine, and Acheron. Each pair uses designs and color schemes from the character they're based on. As for the cloth, they depict the splash art.
The Kafka glasses have round frames like her sunglasses. The temple tips are purple and the area near the screws have a spider motif. Dan Heng's are wellington glasses with wavy temples to depict dragon-like movement. Acheron's temples have a different color on each side, with red and blue rhinestones near the end pieces. FInally, the Aventurine glasses use boston frames like what he wears in the game. There's a dice-like rhinestone near the end pieces, with spades along with dice marks along the temples.
The Honkai: Star Rail glasses will be available for pre-order until May 19, 2024 and they'll come out in late November 2024. Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices.

Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe, which is a restaurant based on Sonic the Hedgehog, will open its first Texas location in Katy on May 4, 2024. This restaurant will be a pop-up restaurant that'll only be open for three months.
You'll be able to find it at 347 S Mason Rd in Katy, Texas. At the cafe, you'll be able to get items based on the characters and world of Sonic the Hedgehog. The restaurant will also offer exclusive Sonic the Hedgehog merchandise, such as T-shirts and hats. You can check out the menu here:

When you order your food, it'll come in custom packaging featuring the main Sonic characters.
The Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe debuted in July 2023 at San Diego Comic-Con. Because of its popularity, a second pop-up location opened up in November 2023. This one was in Chino Hills. This will mark not only the third pop-up restaurant, but also the first one outside of California.
Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe will be in Texas from May 4 to August 4, 2024. For those who can't visit, there will also be a Sonic promotion at IHOP until May 5, 2024.

Version 2.2 of Honkai: Star Rail now has a release date of May 8, 2024, which is when it will arrive and bring new story missions and characters. The announcement comes on the tail of the Version 2.2 special program stream, which previewed some of the upcoming additions.
The update, titled "Then Wake to Weep," is set to bring with it Boothill and Robin as playable characters and the continuation of the Penacony storyline. The 2.2 Special Program also showed some of the new areas like the Moment of Scorchsand and the Penacony Grand Theatre. A new boss fight was shown, during which players will face off against a large operatic automaton called "Harmonius Choir: The Great Septimus." Finally, a new weapon form and path for the protagonist was teased, which features a hat as a "weapon" and will likely be attuned to the Path of Harmony.
Some of the events set to arrive after the update launches include the recurring Gift of Odyssey log in event, which grants up to 10 event warp tickets for use in the game's gacha. Meanwhile, "Clockie: Dreamjoy Memoir" will offer Tracks of Destiny and Formless Resin as players try their hands at editing a Penaconian movie, and "Legend of the Galactic Baseballer" will be a combat event with RPG-like mechanics. "All About Boothill" will be a assignment-focused event exploring Boothill's backstory, and there will also be a return of the Planar Fissure and Garden of Plenty events that provide extra rewards for farming Calyxes and the Simulated Universe.

HoYoverse also announced another livestream to air in May, 2024, called the Star Rail LIVE 2024. A new character name Jade was also teased, who will be of the Quantum element and walk the Path of Erudition.

AmiAmi opened up pre-orders for Kill la Kill 10th Anniversary merchandise. You'll be able to purchase items such as acrylic stands, desk mats, and more.
All of the merchandise feature Ryuko, Satsuki, and Mako wearing formal dresses. While Satsuki's holding what looks like a flute of champagne, both Ryuko and Mako are wearing bouquets. There appears to be a decorative balloon in Ryuko's bouquet that combines a 10 for the 10th anniversary of Kill la Kill with a pair of scissors.
There are four pages of merchandise that you can pre-order via AmiAmi. Here is a list of items:
Most of the merchandise focuses on the T-shirts and hoodies. They all depict famous scenes from the show, as well as the key visual for the anniversary.
Kill la Kill is an original television series from Trigger. It follows the story of Ryuko Matoi who is looking for her father's killer. Her search brings her to Honnouji Academy, where she faces off against the student council president Satsuki Kiryuin. Despite the show's age, it has remained popular enough to still get merchandise in recent years. For example, Good Smile Company released a Pop Up Parade figure of Mako in 2021.
Kill la Kill is readily available on streaming services such as Hulu. The anniversary goods will come out in mid-July 2024, which would be the perfect season for stripping down and showing your loyalty to Nudist Beach.

We gathered around for the HoYoVerse 2.2 Honkai: Star Rail Special Program and were again rewarded for our attendance with Stellar Jade codes. Three codes appeared, and people who enter them in-game or online will net themselves 300 Stellar Jades and other items on April 26, 2024.
These codes follow the same protocol as all others distributed via a special program. They can be used on April 26, 2024 only or until they run out. Redeeming them results in in-game letters being sent to your inbox with 100 Stellar Jades and some items in each one. It's almost enough for two banner pulls, so you'll still need to do your daily missions to get it up to 320 so you can get your full pull.
Here are the Honkai: Star Rail Stellar Jade codes for Special Program 2.2:
Each code gives you 100 Stellar Jades, as mentioned, and either Credits or EXP items. So the first code below gives you the EXP items for raising a character's level and Jades. Remember to enter them ASAP!

If you are playing on a PS5 or the PC, all you need to do is open up the Phone menu to enter these three codes. Click the Trailblazer Profile button, then choose to Redeem Codes. If you play on an Android or iOS device, you need to head to the HoYoVerse website. You can enter them one-by-one after logging in there.
Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the latest Stellar Jade codes for Special Program 2.2 expire after April 27, 2024 or they run out. The 2.2 update is expected to launch on May 8, 2024.

During the special program of Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.2, HoYoVerse shared more information on the new characters who'll make their playable debuts in the upcoming banners. We'll be getting Boothill and Robin as limited five-star allies in Honkai: Star Rail.

Boothill will be a five-star Physical Hunt character in Honkai: Star Rail. His Skill pits him in a duel against a single enemy. They'll both deal and receive more DMG, and he can get a stack to enhance his attack after he defeats an enemy. His Ultimate inflicts Physical Weakness, deals DMG, and delays the target's action. Boothill will need the new Echo of War Material that'll debut in Version 2.2.
Robin will be a five-star Physical Harmony character in Honkai: Star Rail. Her Skill can enhance DMG, and her Talent can restore Energy when an ally attacks an enemy. Robin's Ultimate can advance the entire party's turn, as well as starts up a musical show. She can also deal extra damage to enemies after an ally's attack, which means she'll work very well with follow-up teams. Robin also becomes immune to crowd control effects.
The first banners for Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.2 will feature Robin and Topaz. Topaz is a five-star Fire Hunt character. During this phase, the four-stars on rate-up will be March 7th, Hanya, and Xueyi. The second phase will feature Boothill and Fuxuan. Fu Xuan is a five-star Quantum Preservation. Pela, Luka, and Hook will be on rate-up during this banner. This version marks the first one since service started that there was no new four-star character in a patch.
