New Valorant agent Gekko is too powerful, and not in a good way

Riot's Valorant agent lead John 'MEMEMEMEME' Goscicki was absolutely correct when he referred to Gekko as an "eclectic" agent with chill "friends." Agent 22 plays like butter, has well-timed jokes, makes for a great sidekick, and is a ruthless hero when he wants to be. Finally, after weeks of waiting, the FPS game's new agent is here, and he seems promising.

If you're wondering how to get and use the Fire Emblem Engage Ancient Well, it's as easy as tossing things in, fighting, then returning.

So Fire Emblem Engage added an Ancient Well feature in the 1.3.0 update, and it essentially lets you swap existing weapons for new ones. What will you get? Nobody knows! There's a tier system at play, but there's no guarantee about what you might find waiting for you. So if you're curious to see what you might collect after battles, here's how to use the Fire Emblem Engage Ancient Well.

How to Use the Fire Emblem Engage Ancient Well

How to Unlock the Fire Emblem Engage Ancient Well

This part is very easy.

First, update your game to 1.3.0 or higher.

After that, you need to get to chapter seven in the story. If you're at that point, visit Durthon at The Somniel's Armory. He'll mention losing a weapon down a well there. You'll find that in the Training Yard area near the Wyvern Ride minigame.

Checking it will get you a Represailles polearm and Revanche axe.

Return to Durthon. He'll let you keep both weapons. You can now use the Ancient Well whenever you'd like.

How to Use the Fire Emblem Engage Ancient Well

If you approach the Ancient Well, you can toss up to five items into it. Anything goes. These can be weapons and consumables. However, some more important weapons can't be tossed in there.

As you add items, the "Upgrade Chance" gauge at the bottom will fill. The more stars, the higher the chance you'll get upgraded, better weapons.

Go fight one battle after dropping in the items. It could be a story, DLC, or skirmish fight. When you return, you'll be given new items. These could include "joke" weapons shaped like food that can also be "eaten" by a character to restore their health.

To give an example of what might happen, my first time I tossed in two Silver Swords, a Silver Axe, a Silver-Spirit Art, and a Silver Lance. That filled up the "Upgrade Chance" gauge completely. I ended up getting a Novice Book, a Confectioknife, a Biting Blade, and a Scrollcake.

Fire Emblem Engage is available for the Nintendo Switch. The Veronica and Chrom/Robin DLC is out now.

1.3.0 Fire Emblem Engage Update Adds Ancient Well, DLC Support

Every Fire Emblem Engage update so far added a new feature, and 1.3.0 is no exception. This time, there are the typical additions like DLC support and fixes for unspecified issues. However, the new Fire Emblem Engage patch notes also introduce the Ancient Well and Inherit Skills compatibility.

The Inherit Skill options increases it to apply to two areas in Fire Emblem Engage. The Ring Chamber was one. Now, the Arena is the other.

As for the Ancient Well, you can now access it not far from the Wyvern Ride minigame on the Somniel. You can toss weapons and items you don't want to potentially exchange them for new, better, and unusual ones. After depositing items in the well, you'll see your upgrade chance and be able to pick up new ones after the next battle.

The Japanese Twitter account showed some of the food-themed options you can get.

Here are the full Fire Emblem Engage patch notes for the 1.3.0 update from Nintendo's support site.

General Updates

  • Compatible with Wave 3 of the Expansion Pass.
  • From Chapter 7 forward, you'll be able to exchange items at the ancient well on the Somniel. You'll need to talk to the proprietor of the armory.
  • You can now use Inherit Skills in the Arena.
  • Issues have been fixed to make for a more pleasant gaming experience.

Fire Emblem Engage is available for the Nintendo Switch. The Veronica and Chrom/Robin DLC is out now.

Chainsaw Man Denji, Power, and Pochita Jewelry and Power's Horns Arrive in 2023

Good Smile Company started taking orders for an array of Chainsaw Man accessories, which includes jewelry inspired by Denji, Power, and Pochita and Power's horns. The jewelry consists of a necklace, rings, and earrings. As for the horns, they are a pair of hairclips that can be used for Chainsaw Man cosplay purposes. All of them will come to Japan in July 2023 and North America in September 2023.

With the earrings, people get to make it look like the Chainsaw Man mascot Pochita is dangling by a chain from their ear. One option is a clip-on, in case someone's ears aren't pierced. (The other is a standard earring.) In each case, the cuff goes at the top of your ear. It costs ¥2,750/$19.99. It is made of brass, not sterling silver.

The Chainsaw Man rings are based on Denji and Power, with a third being a general chain. Each one is a size 19 ring, which is about 59.7mm around. (The chains and Power ones appear to be adjustable.) They are made out of brass, like the Pochita earring options. Depending on the version, the price varies. The Denji one is ¥5,500/$38.99, while the chains and Power ones are ¥4,400/#30.99 each.

Finally, the Power's horns hair clips and Denji starter cord necklace both seem to be designed with Chainsaw Man cosplay in mind. The necklace is supposed to look like the cord Denji pulls to transform. It features brass accessories on a polyester cord. It costs ¥2,750/$19.99. Meanwhile, the pair of red clips are made of resin with brass clips. They are also ¥2,750/$19.99.

A new Po-uta voicebank with the voice of Porter Robinson has been released for Vocaloid 6.

Yamaha Corporation released a new Po-uta voicebank for VOCALOID 6 in collaboration with EDM composer and producer Porter Robinson. This addition is based on Robinson's well-known high-pitched voice and includes 13 artist-approved vocal style presets. The name "Po-uta" is a play on words between Porter and the word "uta," which means song in Japanese. You can find this voicebank for $108 right now on the official site. However, in order to use it, it is necessary to have purchased the $225 VOCALOID 6 software beforehand.

As part of the release, Porter Robinson made a new demo song called "Humansongs." It is designed to show what this vocal bank is capable of doing. The song goes for a "robotic" style similar to the songs made famous by Vocaloid's own Hatsune Miku. Although, Robinson stated that the voice has options to sound more "human-like."
https://twitter.com/porterrobinson/status/1632927546806517760?s=20

Po-uta also supports multilingual functions, enabling it to work with Japanese, English, and Chinese. Additionally, it works with the Vocalo Changer function, enabling users to reproduce their own singing style using the voicebank.

Porter Robinson has long been known in the anime and video game communities. In 2016 he released "Shelter," which received an official anime music video made by A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online). More recently, in 2022 he released the single "Everything goes on" for League of Legends.

Robinson explained that he himself has been a fan of Vocaloid songs and invited people to use this voicebank in their own creations. In fact, some users have already started testing the voicebank.

The Po-uta voicebank is available to download worldwide from the official Vocaloid site for $108 plus tax. VOCALOID 6 is compatible with Windows and Mac systems.
