Diablo IV is a game about keeping evil locked behind the gates of hell and making the numbers go up. Kill enemies, get stronger, kill more enemies, get even stronger. This is the endless cycle at the center of Blizzard's hit action-RPG, but recently players have managed to take that logic to its absurd conclusion,…

Ladders! They are a lot like stairs, but flat and vertical and without any steps. Actually, wait, I guess they aren't that similar to stairs. I guess I'm not a ladder expert! And it seems plenty of video game characters are similarly not very good at ladders. It's okay. We all have our flaws.

yu-gi-oh enemy controller

Premium Bandai will release a real-life Enemy Controller from Yu-Gi-Oh, and it will be able to play over fifty voice lines from Seto Kaiba. It features the voice of Kenjiro Tsuda, who portrayed Kaiba in the Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters anime. You'll be able to purchase the Enemy Controller from places like AmiAmi. It costs 7,920 JPY ($56.35) and it'll come out in November 2023.

When you press the arrow keys, A, B, or C buttons, the Enemy Controller will emit Kaiba voice lines. There are also lines where he states that he'll pay 1,000 Life Points to use the card, as well as summoning lines for eighteen Monsters that he used from the show. The controller will also play sound tracks from the show, much like the Millennium Puzzle model. You'll be able to play the music, and then press buttons to make Kaiba talk while the music is going on.

Enemy Controller is a Magic Card that Kaiba used against Yugi in Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters. Effect-wise, you can pay 1,000 Life Points and choose between several effects. On paper, that's not very interesting. But Enemy Controller, as well as the voice lines of Kaiba saying the commands, were used in several popular Yu-Gi-Oh MADs back on NicoNico Douga. These MADs in turn popularized the card.

The Yu-Gi-Oh Enemy Controller toy is available to pre-order from websites such as AmiAmi, which does offer international shipping.

godzilla evangelion figure header

Plex will release a limited edition Deforeal figure of Awakened Evangelion Unit-01G. This is an original figure born from the question "What if we put Godzilla cells into the Evangelion Unit-01?" Pre-orders started from July 11, 2023, and it costs 15,400 JPY ($109.60). It's about 17 centimeters in height. [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]

The spines on its back, as well as other green parts, use luminescent paint. So if you shine a black light on it in the dark, you'll be able to make them glow. The figure also comes with a power unit that you can use to make both its eyes and chest core light up. While you can display the Awakened Evangelion Unit-01G Deforeal figure anywhere, these features make it stand out more in a dark room.

Since it's a Deforeal figure, it's got the proportions of a chibi character. Half of the Evangelion Unit-01's large head looks like Godzilla's, complete with sharper teeth than usual. It also has a tail, and fluorescent spines that the original mech lacks.

Here are some more pictures of the Awakened Evangelion Unit-01G figure:

This is not the first time that a company released a figure of the Unit-01 but merged with something else. For example, Fujimi Mokei released figures of beetles that have the same color schemes as the Unit-01 and Unit-02. The same company also released a velociraptor model with the Evangelion Unit-01 colors.

The Evangelion Godzilla figure is available for pre-order and will come out some time in October 2023. It's available via Premium Bandai, which does not offer international shipping. However, due to its popularity, there's the chance it'll sell out early.

persona 5 tactica toshiro header

Atlus revealed some new information about Persona 5 Tactica, including the Unique Skill feature and new character Toshiro Kasukabe. There's also new art of Panther and Skull in the art style for the game. Persona 5 Tactica's story will focus on the Phantom Thieves entering a new world to fight its tyrant, Marie.

The new world the Phantom Thieves enter is the Kingdom. Marie is the leader of a group called the Legion, and she's an absolute menace. Erina is the leader of the rebels and asks the Phantom Thieves to join her in toppling Marie's Kingdom. Marie's ultimate goal is to throw a huge wedding ceremony. When Joker infiltrates her prison to save the Phantom Thieves, he encounters someone named Toshiro Kasukabe, who is supposedly a politician in real life. However, he can't remember how he entered Marie Kingdom.

Tomoaki Maeno voices Toshiro. Maeno's previous roles include Zhongli from Genshin Impact, Jiang Ziya in Fate/Grand Order, and Oscar Dragonia in Tales of Berseria. After the Phantom Thieves rescue him, he works with them as an ally. Since he's a good strategist and actively fears both fighting and getting hurt, he's likely going to be the mission control for the Thieves during Tactica. As well, both Skull and Panther will use their default Persona 5 Personas (Captain Kidd and Carmen, respectively) in Tactica.

While Persona 5 Tactica's gameplay system takes a lot of cues from Persona 5 (such as covering in the shadows and the series staple, and One More), Unique Skills is a new mechanic. Attacking an enemy or receiving an enemy attack will charge up the Voltage Gauge at the bottom of the screen. Once it fills up, you can use a character's Unique Skill. This can be either offensive or supportive, to change the flow of battle. Ryuji's, for example, can attack multiple enemies in a row. Finally, there will be a skill tree to level up your characters, and a Talk option at your Hideout, where you can see one-on-one conversations between Joker and the party.

Persona 5 Tactica will come out on November 17, 2023 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC via Steam.

Tears Of The Kingdom Gerudo Underground Cemetery Gibdo EnemiesIn The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, many of the areas found within the Depths fall under some kind of category. Abandoned mines, coliseums, and Yiga Clan bases make up just a few of these categorized locations, and most of the major discoveries you'll have in the Depths will lead you to one of these places. However, the Depths does house some entirely unique areas as well. One such location comes in the form of the Gerudo Underground Cemetery, a Gibdo-infested area found far underneath the Gerudo Desert. This Tears of the Kingdom guide will focus on how you can reach the Gerudo Underground Cemetery as well as what you can accomplish there. Gerudo Underground Cemetery—Location and rewards When exploring the Gerudo region on Hyrule's surface, you can run into the Arbiter's Grounds, an area filled with movement-hindering quicksand that features a shrine as a reward for managing to cross it. The Gerudo Underground Cemetery rests below the Arbiter's Gr...
