Diablo 4 player trading suspended by Blizzard

Diablo 4 player trading is suspended "until further notice," Blizzard says, after a glitch is discovered in the RPG game which allows for the duplication of gold and items. As the Diablo 4 1.1.2 update removes an exploit relating to dungeons, Blizzard says that accounts that are found using the gold and item duplication bug will be "actioned." Blizzard says it will update Diablo 4 players and reinstate trading once the glitch has been resolved.

     Starfield system requirements

What are the Starfield system requirements? You don't need space-age hardware to blast off with Starfield, as the sci-fi RPG runs on older components. However, Bethesda does say you will need to leave behind your mechanical hard drives to get on board.

     All Starfield factions and groups

What are all the Starfield factions? Many Starfield factions live in the Settled Systems, all with wildly different ideologies, areas of expertise, and fashion sense. While this upcoming space game will likely play into the fear of the unknown that's synonymous with the inky black expanse of the cosmos, it's still your fellow humans who pose the greatest threat to your survival.

When you begin your voyage in the space game, you are doing so on behalf of Constellation, one of at least seven different Starfield factions. As a new Constellation recruit, it's your mission in potentially one of the best PC games to seek out and expose the secrets of the known galaxy. As a result, you may come face-to-face with one of the other factions during your travels in Starfield, and first impressions are vitally important.

What are the Armored Core 6 system requirements? You don't need cutting edge components to suit up in Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, as the mecha shooter runs comfortably on older hardware. However, FromSoftware specifies you'll need a fair amount of space on your drive to fit the whole adventure on your system.

Starfield just hit a huge milestone, and now feels closer than ever

Starfield is all grown up, ready to fly the in-development nest and finally leave home. With the Starfield release date almost upon us, it's almost bittersweet, watching the Bethesda RPG game cross one of the final milestones before it faces the world. Elder Scrolls went through it - so did Skyrim and Fallout. But with five years gone by since it was first officially introduced, this feels like saying goodbye to the in-progress, speculation-magnet Starfield that we know and love. Yes, the day has finally arrived. The Starfield mods page is up and running, and to celebrate, you can even win a free copy.

Baldur's Gate 3 quest list – all main and companion missions

How many Baldur's Gate 3 quests are there? There are many missions in your time throughout the lengthy, epic game, usually unlocked by the main campaign. Some quests are also given by NPCs, or are triggered by certain events.

Your Baldur's Gate 3 companions can set optional quests to unlock more of their BG3 background and discover more stories, as well as gaining rewards, experience, and loot. As we mention in our Baldur's Gate 3 review, it is not a short game, and it will take you a long time to get through the story missions. Beware that even though we don't get into the specifics of these quests, the names alone could be considered spoilers - you have been warned!

Starfield on PC better be lightyears ahead of Xbox

Reality set in for console gamers when Bethesda revealed during Summer Game Fest 2023 that Starfield's frame rate will be capped at 30fps on Xbox Series X and S. While current-gen consoles enjoyed a brief period of solid 60fps performance modes, we're starting to see triple-A titles revert to being best played at a 30fps lock. While this is the new(old) norm on consoles, word of a low frame rate lock would be like nails on a chalkboard for PC players.

The Starfield Direct likely convinced people with aging rigs to upgrade their machines for the first time in years, but our gaming standards are higher than they've ever been. Technology has evolved to the point where 60fps is viewed by some as low. With that in mind, we need to know that Starfield on PC won't be held back by a low frame rate cap, allowing us to push to 120fps or beyond.

I've been itching to play The Lords Of The Fallen since I discovered that it's a closet Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver homage (see my bio), with a sorcerous lantern that lets you switch between the living and unliving worlds of Axiom and Umbral. Each realm has a different layout, architecture and ambience, and you'll need to alternate between them to expose routes and bypass obstacles, as indicated by clumps of ashen butterflies, making your way back to Axiom by means of an Effigy of Emergence.

You're also dropped into Umbral when you die, which gives you another chance to bump off whatever it is that slew you; die a second time, and you'll have to restart from one of the game's Vestige bonfires. Another thing to worry about: the longer you spend in Umbral, realm of death and despair, the more numerous the monsters that spawn from its shadows. I'm hoping the two-worlds mechanic will usefully mutate the game's many debts to Dark Souls into a brand new playstyle (though as Ed Superior noted in his Lords of the Fallen hands-on, it stands up pretty well as a straight Souls clone). It already poses some fun possiblities for the ever-thorny question of multiplayer.

As in Dark Souls, players can invade each other's worlds for glory and plunder, with certain parts of the world specifically designed for PvP. The twist is that only the host player is in charge of world-switching. So if some wannabe saboteur appears standing on an Umbral-only platform, all you have to do is switch dimensions and treat them to a "date with gravity", in the words of Hexworks head of studio Saul Gascon and Creative Director Cezar Virtosu (thanks MP1st).

Comedy platformer Orbo's Odyssey is a game about being locked in your boss's office. Here are some things I might do if I were locked in my boss's office (sorry Katharine): approve expense claims, sift their browser history for blackmail material and oh, who am I kidding, what I'd really do is perch on the desk, quiet as a churchmouse, waiting to be let out. Orbo's boss keeps an... atypical office, however. It harbours product portals that take you to alternate worlds, hewn from the same seam of weirdness as Psychonauts.

Bethesda have published a timeline detailing events in the Starfield universe from before the player's arrival. The scrollable chronology, which runs from 2050 to 2160, charts the origins of the war between the United Colonies and Freestar Collective factions, who sound more and more to me like the Union and the Confederacy in the US Civil War. We're also told about the formation of the Constellation organisation, a group of swashbuckling pioneers who are concerned with the origins of certain mystic Artifacts. And we get to read a little about a few key Starfield characters, such as space cowboy Sam Coe, careworn ex-soldier Sarah Morgan and sciencehunk Barrett. But the timeline also leaves plenty of mysteries. Join me, as I make a show of poking around in the collapsing space-museum with my tricorder.
