Is Roblox shutting down in 2024?

Is Roblox shutting down? There always seems to be a rumor that Roblox is going to shut down. Let's get one thing clear early on: anyone who tells you that Roblox is shutting down is incorrect. Roblox Corporation has tweeted confirmation that the game isn't going anywhere, so you can relax and get back to playing your favorite games.

However, if you are curious to know where this rumor originated and how it got so big, we've done a little digging to uncover one of the sources of the speculation. With Roblox achieving a lifetime revenue of over $1 billion and over $70 million in payouts to creators, it would seem utterly ludicrous for the game to shut down. While the game is still up and running, check out some of the best Roblox games and our Anime Champions codes, Blox Fruits codes, and Project Slayers codes guides to snag yourself some freebies.

Best multiplayer games on PC 2024

What are the best multiplayer games on PC? Intricate gameplay and glistening visuals only go so far; humans often provide the biggest surprises with schemes that transform even the most average game into an unforgettable experience you'll be talking about until the end of time.

Fast and frantic or tense and calculated, the best multiplayer games come in all shapes and sizes. Whether it's vying for control of the payload in an FPS game or fighting for survival in a co-op game with your friends, these experiences wouldn't be the same without a bunch of real people running around killing, maiming, or, occasionally, helping each other out in some of the best PC games.

Palworld VR exists already, and yes, it's very good

Playing Palworld in VR might seem like a nightmare to some, but it is instead a genuinely charming experience, made possible thanks to UEVR, an open-source tool for bringing virtual reality compatibility to Unreal Engine games.

Some of the best PC games released in recent years can now be given a new lease of life in VR, provided they are built within the Unreal Engine. It must be noted that this isn't native VR support, so while the UEVR tool is capable of incredible feats, it's going to take time for Palworld to play like a true VR game, but it's off to a great start.

Capcom just broke Monster Hunter Rise on Steam Deck

Capcom has added DRM (digital rights management) to Monster Hunter Rise, effectively removing its Steam Deck verification in the process. Players are not happy and refund requests are also being rejected by Valve despite the issue.

Monster Hunter Rise still holds a verified rating on the Steam store, meaning it should be among the best Steam Deck games to play in terms of optimization. Capcom, however, has left the game unable to even launch, all because it added Enigma DRM, a controversial move that it is no stranger to.

     Razer Seiren V2 Pro review

Rocking a sleek and minimalistic design, over an abundance of customizable RGB lighting like a lot of streaming microphones, stands the Razer Seiren V2 Pro. It expands on the Razer Seiren Pro that came before it, separating itself with the inclusion of a high-pass filter, cardioid pickup pattern, audio monitoring, and manual controls. However, while you can adjust your streaming audio through the touch of a dial, the Seiren V2 Pro takes the tinkering of the Razer Synapse software to uncover the true performance of this mid-range gaming microphone.

Before worrying about any problems with your game, you'll want to check the FF14 server status and currently scheduled maintenance times below to see if the MMO is offline.

If you can't log into FF14, it's typically because of planned maintenance. When Edwin popped the reveal trailer for new Metroidvania Deviator into The Maw this morning, he really wasn't kidding about it looking a heck of a lot like Hollow Knight. You've got a small, diminutive hero with a nasty little blade up his sleeve, a haunting and melancholy piano score, a beautiful hand-drawn animation style, and lots of mean-looking creatures to fight. Then again, the trailer also makes it clear there are lots and lots of spikes and traps to navigate here, which puts me more in the mind of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Either way, I'm well up for another platforming-Metroidy hybrid, and developers Gami Studio have announced that there's Steam demo coming in February.

When I innocently went on holiday on Thursday evening, Palworld was that flagrant cash-in survival game where you can make Pokemon - sorry, Pals - shoot guns and work on an assembly line. As of this morning, it's among the most-played games in the world, one of just six to exceed one million concurrent players on Steam. Right now, it's doing almost twice the numbers of Steam's usual chart-topper Counter-Strike 2. We have entered the Pal Age, it seems - but how long will the feeding frenzy last? How much is owing to it releasing during the quiet time of year with a meme-ish premise, while capitalising on pent-up demand for a proper PC version of Nintendo's monster-catching series? Much will depend, I think, on how quickly developers Pocketpair can update it and stay ahead of the usual early access game avalanche of community requests and complaints.

The latest Steam Deck beta client update is out, and it's made a pretty neat addition to the quick-access performance menu. A tap of the Y button now brings up a brief explainer for whichever individual setting is currently highlighted, a handy lil' reference for anyone who wants to customise how their Deck (or Steam Deck OLED) runs without knowing exactly how things like TDP limits and half-rate shading affect performance. Clearly it's also a brutal attack on the livelihoods of honest hardware editors who write guides to this sort of thing, but whatever, Valve.

Fighting Pdif In PalworldIn Palworld, the Palpagos Islands Defence Force, PDIF for short, is present to shut down any criminal activity with extreme violence and prejudice. If you find yourself wanted, you will need to know how to get yourself out of that mess. How to become Wanted in Palworld Like in any game with an authority presence, in Palworld, to become Wanted, you'll have to commit one of two crimes. Assault or Trespassing. Doing any one of these crimes will add to your Wanted tally in the top right. The more times you're spotted doing that crime, the more you will be hunted down by the PDIF. So I'd suggest against racking up a huge Wanted list unless you want to see just how dangerous the PDIF can get. Assault in Palworld Assault in Palworld is pretty straight forward. Attacking a PDIF officer or a friendly NPC will count as assault. Naturally, you'll have to be spotted doing this crime for it to count. I must admit, for some reason,...
