Hogwarts Legacy Demiguise Statue and Moon locations

Are you scratching your head trying to find all of the Hogwarts Legacy Demiguise Statue locations? By far one of the more annoying collectibles in the game, it's not until you have a word with Gladwin Moon back in Hogwarts that you learn about these owl-like figurines that contain Demiguise Moons. The trick is that, during the day, you can't interact with them, but you can pinch their moon during the night.

Hogwarts Legacy locks are intricately linked with Demiguise Statues and Moons, however, unlike other collectibles in the open-world game, such as the Daedalian keys, you will find Demiguise Statues scattered across every region, not just in Hogwarts. There are 30 Demiguise Statues to find, and the game doesn't count the two from Gladwin's quest as part of your search. We've got the details on all the Demiguise locations in the RPG game - just make sure you press F (or RT/R3 on your controller of choice) when you're on the Hogwarts Legacy map screen to wait until night-time so that you can pluck the moons from their grasp.

     Hogwarts Legacy Revelio pages explained

Hogwarts Legacy Revelio pages are one of many collectables in the Harry Potter RPG, and they can be quite confusing. You'll probably find a few as soon as you're let loose around Hogwarts after the intro, and as expected, you need to use Revelio to find them, but how exactly do they work?

Revelio pages in Hogwarts Legacy are in the same category as field guide pages and flying pages, but they're also slightly different. You may notice that Revelio pages specifically are tracked in-game, as each one provides a tiny bit of lore about the subject in question, whether it's something like the Great Hall which every Potter fan knows and recognises in the open-world game, or a collection of beehives in a hamlet miles away from the castle. Here's what you need to know about the Hogwarts Legacy Revelio pages.

All Hogwarts Legacy Daedalian keys locations

Where are all of the Hogwarts Legacy Daedalian keys? Fairly early on in the game, you'll find some side quests that teach you a little more about each of the collectibles in the game. One of these quests is 'The Daedalian Keys' who you can get from Gryffindor student Nellie Oggspire standing in the Transfiguration Courtyard. She asks you to investigate the flying keys scattered around Hogwarts.

These are the Hogwarts Legacy Daedalian keys, and to solve the puzzle, you need to get close to them to gain their trust. Once you do, follow them to a nearby locked cabinet to claim the house token inside. As it turns out, there are more of them hidden, but with so many collectibles in the open-world game, including Demiguise Statues and landing platforms, you'll be pleased to hear that you don't need to set foot outside of the school for this one. That said, you eventually need to learn a couple of Hogwarts Legacy spells to access hard-to-reach areas. Here is how the Daedalian keys work in Hogwarts Legacy, their locations, and the reward you get for finding all of the house tokens and opening the house chest, and note that there are 16 Daedalian Keys and house tokens to find in total.

See Orange Piccolo and Cell Max in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Teaser

Bandai Namco noted that Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 DLC 16: Hero of Justice Pack 2 would show up back in January 2023 and teased Orange Piccolo. Now, there's even more to see. The Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2023 teaser for the next updates is now available. In addition to the paid update, it also shows a peek at the Cell Max Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 raid that will appear for everyone for free.

The teaser first begins with the add-on we already know about. The Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 DLC 15 added Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 costumes and the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero version of Gohan. However, once that's done, it moves onto DLC 16. That's when we get a first look at Orange Piccolo in an actual Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2. That portion of the trailer ends with a "coming soon" release window for the next add-on.

After that, the Cell Max Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 raid shows up. That shows a group of players confronting the free fight. It's also listed as "coming soon," as it should appear at the same time as DLC 16.

Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and there's no release date yet for DLC 16: Hero of Justice Pack 2.

Review: Bayonetta Origins Chronicles Cereza and Cheshire's Friendship

With Bayonetta Origins, PlatinumGames really went for the unexpected. It deviated from typical Bayonetta. There's an experimental art direction. The studio also went with an unorthodox control scheme. All put together, it could have created a mess. Instead, Bayonetta Origins is an extremely charming, well-paced story chronicling the friendship of Cereza and Cheshire, all while using different gameplay decisions and artistic directions to further show both character development and their relationship.

Cereza is a young Umbra witch in training. Exiled from the community due to the circumstances of her birth, she trains with another, older exiled witch named Morgana. Her hope is that she'll be strong enough to save her confined mother. However, after a dream about a mysterious boy tells her that heading into the Avalon Forest could grant her the power she needs, she heads into the fairy infested domain from which nobody escapes. It's there that, in a moment of distress, she summons a lost demon and they inhabit the form of the stuffed cat her mother made for her. Promising to return "Cheshire" to Inferno once she gets the power she needs on the journey, the two set out to follow the White Wolf and find answers.

PlatinumGames Nintendo

It's all charming in a way I didn't expect. Bayonetta Origins leans into the fairy tale aesthetic hard, with a dreamlike, stained glass world and a narrator following all of Cereza and Cheshire's actions. We see two young, damaged individuals coming into their own and learning not only to trust in themselves, but each other. There were moments I genuinely worried about characters' safety, and PlatinumGames was careful to show the development relationship through story beats and gameplay, rather than just tell the player "now the witch and demon are trusted allies."

Unlike typical Bayonetta games, which involve a frantic flurry of action, Bayonetta Origins is a more thoughtful adventure. There are battles here, to be sure, though Cheshire handles that. But instead the player is left to find a way to traverse the winding, overlapping Avalon Forest by making use of both characters' abilities. As an apprentice witch, Cereza can use magic that could make plants grow or bind enemies. Meanwhile, Cheshire involves more brute force that can knock aside bramble, fences, and foes. The two need to stay nearby one another, due to Cereza's magic powering Cheshire's larger form. However, there are times when environmental elements in Avalon Forest or Tir na Nog stages force the two apart to handle actions independently to ensure both can progress.

PlatinumGames Nintendo

This is handled by basically tying the left Nintendo Switch Joy-Con to Cereza and the right to Cheshire. This might seem like it could be a confusing and hand-cramp-inducing situation! However, PlatinumGames executed in a way that makes the whole process rather fluid. While the action buttons and D-pad on each are tied to different actions, they aren't frequently used ones. Cereza can use Umbran potions with the D-pad, if she happens to have any on-hand, while Cheshire can switch between elemental forms with special capabilities with the A, B, X, and Y buttons. Primarily, someone will be using the L, ZL, R, and ZR triggers for almost every action, as well as the analog sticks to move. While exploring the woods, movements usually are pretty much in-sync or involve moving one character at a time, which helps. Not to mention there's the efficient Hug Mode that sees Cereza carrying Cheshire in his plush toy form to make things easier and help require magic.

The only time it can really get frantic is when facing foes like fairies. During these fights, Cheshire can use his standard or elemental abilities to attack enemies. Both the fire and water forms involved ranged attacks, while the grass and stone ones can involve more melee ones. Cereza is on the field as well during these times, with players left to continually assault opponents while she uses thorns to bind them both to hold them in place for Cheshire and keep them from attacking her. In boss fights, these experiences can become more like a dance, with specific moments when tying a foe down can mark a critical chance for Cheshire to strike. It sounds like a lot, and it is! But to my surprise, it all works exceedingly well.

Review: Bayonetta Origins Chronicles Cereza and Cheshire's Friendship

But really, the Tir na Nog stages are where this pairing work best. These are essentially small dungeons that remind me of the shrines tackled in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Each one has a sense of purpose. Some are mandatory moments encountered as you go through the story, though optional ones also appear. Each one involves both Cereza and Cheshire using their unique capabilities. Even leading up to the fracture that lets you into one, you might need to juggle each hero's abilities to solve environmental puzzles and get to the entrance. Then, once inside, you'll face puzzles that can involve using certain Cheshire forms or carefully proceeding as the more fragile Cereza.

Though, as you go along, you'll see both end up being more than capable of completing any challenge. This is a journey of growth for both characters, after all. Not only is a friendship developing between Cereza and Cheshire throughout, but both of them are built up as characters. Part of this development happens as a result of gameplay. There are skill trees for each of our heroes, with players' actions resulting in new options opening up and capabilities added. However, the gameplay can change according to Cereza's mindset, and we can see changes in attitudes throughout the story. For example, when searching for a Tir na Nog stage crack and surrounded by fae, Cereza adopts a hesitant, plodding pace and her body language changes. There's a sense of ambiance and attitude present throughout character animations and actions, as well as in different environments. It's even present in the save data images or the brief animations present when applying upgrades to characters.

Review: Bayonetta Origins Chronicles Cereza and Cheshire's Friendship

That growth also makes meandering through Avalon Forest more enjoyable. Also like The Legend of Zelda games, getting new abilities means accessing new areas. The story sends people winding around this woodland maze. This can mean chances to rescue Wisps, collect journal entries from others who found themselves in the forest, or find new Tir na Nog spaces. though the map is stylized, it's rather easy to read, and PlatinumGames offered features that make it easy to head back to a place you aren't finished exploring.

Speaking of additional features, Bayonetta Origins is also one of the more accessible games I've played in 2023. It takes into account players of all skill levels. People can adjust the difficulty of encounters, as well as whether actions are accomplished by tapping or holding and if someone has access to infinite magic. You can also instruct Guiding Lights to appear to lead you to the Sanctuary hubs where you can save or access the skill tree. However, most helpful is the possibility of making the Witch Pulse a manual or automatic feature. This rhythm-based action is how Cereza uses some of her magic to affect the environment around her. While it's never too taxing, if a lot is happening (or someone's been playing in lengthy sessions), it can honestly help to let the game handle the inputs so you can enjoy what's going on around you.

Review: Bayonetta Origins Chronicles Cereza and Cheshire's Friendship

Bayonetta Origins is a gorgeous look at another side of one of PlatinumGames' most beloved characters. It's a game that, at a glance, you might think wouldn't work due to the unconventional control scheme. But it does, thanks to clever design decisions. The artistic direction is gorgeous and appropriate given the fairy influences. Cap that all off with a charming, blossoming friendship between Cereza and Cheshire, and Bayonetta Origins is a delight.

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon will come to the Nintendo Switch on March 17, 2023. A demo is available.

FFVII Remake Intergrade 3D Billboard

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade received another accolade, this time from a Japanese outdoor advertising trade group. The Tokyo Outdoor Advertising Association (TOAA) has just released the winners of its biennial Tokyo Outdoor Advertising Contest. The winner of the top honor for the 2021-2022 period was the FFVII Remake Intergrade Red XIII 3D billboard that went up in late December 2021.

The FFVII Remake Intergrade 3D billboard was placed on a large display atop a building in Tokyo's Minato Ward. It featured the Final Fantasy VII character Red XIII rendered as if present inside the 3D "box" above the the building. The ad was visible from December 20, 2021 through January 2, 2022.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6OFS3DCmmA

The award from the Tokyo Outdoor Advertising Association was the "Tokyo Governor Award" in the 1st Division (of 4). The TOAA is an advertising industry public interest organization that consists of various companies and other groups involved in creating and placing billboards, neon light displays, traffic ads and other forms of outdoor signage. It is also sponsored by Tokyo's Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The association exists to help coordinate members' operations so as to allow development without excessively impacting the "scenic beauty and aesthetics" of Tokyo. The Tokyo Outdoor Advertising Contest is held every two years, and aims to recognize outdoor advertising works that exhibit "excellent design" and "are in harmony with the scenery of Tokyo."

As for the FFVII Remake Intergrade 3D billboard, it seems the spectacle of the massive leonine creature Red XIII running from Shinra helicopters was in keeping with the look of the city.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is available on PS4, while Remake Intergrade is available on PS5 and PC. Other 3D billboard ads seen lately include ones for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and for a new season of Gundam Evolution.

Needy Streamer Overload Manga

A new manga adaptation of Needy Streamer Overload is allegedly in the making. The title for this new manga adaptation seems to be Needy Girl Overdose: Run with My Sick. Nata Okura will be in charge of illustrating the manga, with Itaru Bonnoki writing the original story. Leaker ryokutya2089 said that serialization will start on Mangacross on March 21, 2023. [Thanks, ryokutya2089!]

Manga artist Itaru Bonnoki is well known for creating the manga series The Vampire Dies in No Time. Needy Streamer Overload is a visual novel developed by WSS Playground. They developers are known for creating the Metroidvania games Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth and Touhou Luna Nights, among others.

The story of the game follows Ame, a young girl that struggles with her mental health. She decides to pick up streaming under the persona of OMGkawaiiAngel (or KAngel for short) after dropping out of school in order to make ends meet. The protagonist is tasked with managing her daily life as her follower count increases.

The game was originally known as Needy Girl Overdose, but it later changed its name for its overseas release. Meanwhile, the game kept its original name in Japan. Needy Streamer Overload received a manga anthology under the name Needy Streamer Overload: Absolute Revolutionary Disease: Midnight Streaming Love <3 Ame-chan and P's 100 Days of Despair.

Needy Streamer Overload is available on the PC and Nintendo Switch, and the manga is apparently in development.

The sixth end-of-level boss in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is Zhang Rang, the Corrupted Eunuch. He can be a real curveball of a boss, because he's actually one of many enemies, only one of which is the real boss you need to beat. What's worse is all his doppelgangers will continually throw spells your way, and they will often come from unexpected, off-screen angles. It can be a tricky fight, so here are some strategies to help you beat Zhang Rang.

The way the fight works is that killing the clones will not only strip a buff from the real Zhang Rang, but also reduce his maximum spirit gauge so you can more easily break and riposte him. When you do, he will reset his spirit gauge back to normal. Note that you don't need to kill all the clones to begin damaging the boss, but thinning them out will make it much easier to stun him and give you less attacks to worry about.

When the fight starts, don't try to rush down either the boss or his clones straight away. Instead, back up and play defensively. Try to keep as many of them in sight as possible to avoid being blindsided. Then, focus on parrying the lightning bolts and sword lunges as these help fill your spirit gauge. When you have a big chunk of spirit saved up, expend it to wipe out a clone and move on to the next one. Keep an eye out for when they start to wind up a red critical hit attack, those are a high priority because parrying it will let you execute that clone afterwards.

Wo Long Zhang Rang

When you have killed around half of the Zhang Rang clones in Wo Long, then go after the boss himself. You will be able to tell which he is because the clones have health bars above their heads like regular enemies, whereas the boss only has his at the top of the screen. After you get the big hit in you can finish off the other clones to get another easy riposte in. This is an optional strategy, but it saves you either having to work his spirit gauge down from scratch or waiting for him to resummon them.

The main boss himself is generally no more dangerous than the clones, but he has a few moves to look out for. The big hitter is where he charges up his sword before plunging it into the ground for a big area attack, which will one-shot you if you get too close. He also throws out magic tornadoes and when his clones are wiped out he will perform a flying sword swipe with a big, floaty wind up. All of these are pretty easy to avoid if you keep your distance, so just stay back and wait for him to do attacks that are easier to parry.

As a last note, lightning attacks in Wo Long are attributed to the Wu Xing phase of Wood. Perhaps confusingly, this means Zhang Rang's lightning is countered by Metal phase spells and will counter Earth phase spells in turn. It's not a game-ender if you have invested heavily in the Earth phase stat, but be aware that buffs like 'Enhanced Defense' will be stripped if you are hit by the lightning. Keep these tips in mind and you shouldn't have too much trouble beating Zhang Rang in Wo Long.

Wo Long is immediately availble on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Windows PC. You can read our review here.
