Welcome to the Week in Review
Welcome
It seems like every week brings new and exciting/scary/both developments in artificial intelligence, and the past seven days have been no different. In fact, the pace of change right now is such that by the time I’ve finished writing this there will probably be some new breakthrough that allows AI to bake a cake or master nuclear fusion or something.

Anyway, it’s here to stay, so we might as well get on with the business of using it – which is why the arrival of ChatGPT’s iPhone app is a big deal. We’ve got details of that below, plus a couple of superb pieces by TechRadar writers on their recent experiences with AI.

We also dig into why so many people are leaving Android for iOS, why the cinema age is over and much, much more.

Until next week,

Marc McLaren, UK Editor in Chief
