The new footage showcased transforming land, sea, and air vehicles, well as the long-overdue return of Cream the Rabbit and Extreme Gear from the Sonic Riders series.

Koei Tecmo and Omega Force announced another Musou entry will join Dynasty Warriors Originsin 2025, and the new game is a roguelike called Warriors: Abyss. It is immediately available, as it ended up being a February 2025 State of Play shadowdrop.
The launch trailer primarily focused on gameplay. It shows how we will head into stages in the Inferno that seem inspired by maps and situations from past Musou titles. We'll have six characters with us, which it seems we can switch between, that each have their own specialties. There also seems to be a cooldown system in place, which limits how long we can call upon certain allies from past games in the series to assist us.

One of the OG weapons of Warframe is now here in all of its Primed Glory. The Dual Zoren Prime is a must-get for ancient memes, but also its lethality with the melee meta, so here are the Relics needed.
All Dual Zoren Prime Relics in Warframe
Since this is a dual-blade-type weapon, you will need two handles and two blades to fully construct this in your foundry.
The best Lith Relic farm
The best Lith Relic farm in Warframe is the Exterminate mission, Teshub, or the Capture mission, Hepit. These are low-level missions in The Void that can be completed in mere minutes with a proper speed-running build. Finish the objective and extract.
The best Neo Relic farm
Neo Relics can be target-farmed in Lua via the Apollo Disruption mission. Play up until Round 4 and only defend one conduit per Round to ensure an A-rotation drop. Each A-rotation drop guarantees a Neo Relic.
The best Axi Relic farm
Axi Relics can be farmed in Apollo Lua, the same place where you can get Neo Relics at. However, you will have to follow this method below to ensure you get an Axi Relic. B-rotations guarantee a drop of that tier, so use this:
Best general Relic farm
Along with farming Relics from specific missions, you can farm up Relic Packs to break away from those grinds. From certain vendors in open-world areas, you can get these Packs, which carry three random Relics. Drops aren't guaranteed, but they have a chance of getting the ones you need.
Lastly, you can visit Teshin at the Conclave in any Relay if you have accumulated Steel Essence. Trade 15 units of it for one pack, capping at 25 packs a week for an alternative farm.

The Cedo Prime is the perfect weapon for elemental damage builds utilizing mods like Condition Overload or the Galvanized set. If you want to get the Relics for the Cedo Prime for all your elemental priming needs, here they are, along with farming methods.
All Cedo Prime Relics in Warframe
The best Lith Relic farm
The best way to farm Lith Relics for the Cedo Prime is going to be on Teshub and Hepit in the Void. These are Exterminate and Captures missions respectively, almost guaranteeing a Lith Relic upon completion.
The best Neo Relic farm
While you can use the Meso method to get Neo Relics, you can specifically find Neo Relics by farming the Apollo Disruption mission on Lua. In the first three Rounds, successfully defend one conduit. Let the other three get destroyed, which will result in receiving a guaranteed Neo Relic.
After Round 3, extract and then come back.
The best Axi Relic farm
Similar to Neo farming methods, the way you'd farm Axi Relics in Warframe is to protect all four conduits in the Apollo Disruption mission on Lua. B and C-rotation rewards. C-rotation rewards do have a small chance of yielding a Lua Lens Blueprint or a Universal Medallion, so to maximize pure Axi, do the following on Apollo:
Best general Relic farm
Starting at Mastery Rank 10, you can start farming Reputation with open-world vendors quite well. That reputation is used to level up these neutral factions, which offer Relic Packs in bundles of three. Each one can be purchased for 20,000 Standing.
These are the vendors who you can trade this Standing for in exchange for these said Relic packs:
Lastly, at Steel Path, you can earn Steel Essence and trade 15 of them to Teshin at the Conclave in any Relay for one Pack, capping 25 Packs a week.

Monster Hunter Wilds Gameplay Trailer
Things kicked off with the latest Monster Hunter Wilds gameplay trailer only further building hype for one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Which, by the way, is just over two weeks away. Throughout the trailer, we got a look at various weapons in action as well as a glimpse of the story to expect in the upcoming Mon-hun game. Next in the February State of Play was the announcement and world premiere of the stylish 2D action platformer Shinobi: Art of Vengeance from the creators of Streets of Rage 4. Utilizing beautiful hand-drawn art, Shinobi: Art of Vengeance puts players into the role of legendary shinobi Joe Musashi, master of the ninja arts. It looks like Sonic Racing is returning with Sonic Racing: Crossworlds, allowing players to race across land, sea, air, space, and time as they warp through Travel Rings into new dimensions. Players will be able to race solo or as a team in a variety of offline and online modes as well as build their ultimate machine that matches their racing styles.
Digimon Story: Time Stranger Announced
I didn't realize this was Digimon when the trailer cooked off, showing a Train going into a Valhalla-looking city and narrating that an apocalypse loomed over parallel worlds, causing fates to begin to intertwine. However, it looks like it is in fact the third installment in the series with Digimon Story: Time Stranger, a journey alongside gods, heroes, and monsters of bygone eras. No exact release date was provided but Time Stranger is set to release in 2025.
Lost Soul Aside Release Date
Up next was a pre-order trailer for Lost Soul Aside, an action game long in the making. Players embark on an epic odyssey to save their sister and all of mankind from interdimensional invaders. Lost Soul Aside will be released on PS5 and PC on May 30, 2025.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii demo coming this week
A brief trailer indicated that a demo for the upcoming Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii that releases on February 21, 2025 will be available this Friday, February 14, 2025.
Dave the Diver: Ichiban's Holiday - Like a Dragon Collab Crossover
Speaking of Like a Dragon, Ichiban is getting a Dave the Diver collab crossover this April with Dave the Diver: Ichiban's Holiday. Ichiban ventures into the Blue Hole for a much-needed getaway where he will take on unsettled threats and forge new friendships.
SplitGate 2 Alpha
Another brief trailer indicated that the upcoming FPS SplitGate 2 will have an alpha testing period starting on February 25, 2025.
WWE 2K25 The Island reveal
A new feature called The Island, an online environment with WWE-themed landmarks, quests, shops, and live events, with 50 other players at a time, is coming to WWE 2K25. The Island offers players deep customization to customize their superstars. A notification at the bottom of the video indicated that The Island won't be available on PS4. WWE 2K25 will be released on March 14, 2025.
Borderlands 4 Release Date
Alright, I'll admit it, Borderlands 4 is looking sick. The roughly one-minute trailer shows off a ton of Borderlands weapons and monsters before revealing that Borderlands 4 will be released worldwide on September 23, 2025. Gearbox also indicated there will be a special State of Play this Spring focused on Borderlands 4.
Split Action Story Trailer
A brief story trailer showcased some of the storyline in the upcoming co-op adventure game from Hazelight Studios, Split Fiction. Heroes Mio and Zoe don't get along at first but soon become each other's only hope as they journey through unexpected twists and turns where they must rely on each other. Split Action is set to release on March 6, 2025.
Directive 8020 Story
The next story-driven narrative game by Supermassive Games and part of the Dark Pictures series is Directive 8020. We've seen it before, but this time we get a more expansive look at the intricately spooky storyline as brave astronauts of the ship Cassiopeia embark on a deadly mission to save humanity before their ship is infected by an alien lifeform that imitates its prey.
Five Nights at Freddy's: Secret of the Mimic
The next installment in the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise is Secret of the Mimic. It looks like we're getting more spooky animatronic goodness when it releases on June 13, 2025.
The Midnight Walk Release Date
The unique and interesting-looking dark fantasy clay horror game, The Midnight Walk, officially has a release date. Players take on the role of The Burnt One and befriend a lost lantern creature named Potboy, using his flame to light their way through a world of horror and wonder made entirely from real-life clay. The Midnight Walk releases on PS5 and PS VR2 on May 8, 2025.
Darwin's Paradox! Announced
If you've ever wanted to play as an octopus, now is your chance. Darwin's Paradox! puts players into the role of an octopus named Darwin who's been snatched from the sea and thrust into a mysterious food factory in an action platformer coming to PS5 later this year.
Warriors: Abyss revealed and OUT NOW!
Koei Tecmo revealed Warriors: Abyss, a hybrid between Dynasty Warriors and the roguelite action genre. It looks a lot like Dynasty Warriors meets Vampire Survivors, which I'm all for! Players command historic and masterful warriors by challenging swarms of enemies. Warriors: Abyss is out now on PS4 and PS5!
Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny
Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny is getting the remastered treatment with higher-resolution graphics and modernized controls. Oddly enough, this is only on PS4. I know it can still be played on PS5, but seems like an odd choice. Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny releases on May 23, 2025.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword Story Reveal
Next, we got a look at the story and new protagonist in the next chapter in the Onimusha series by Capcom, Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Play as Miyamoto Musashi as you carve enemies up in classic Onimusha swordplay action when it releases on PS5 in 2026.
Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater Release Date reveal
The remake of 2004 Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater officially has a release date of August 28, 2025. With improved visuals and offering an "even more immersive experience", Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater is looking great with its revamped look.
Hell is Us Release Date reveal
Hell is Us is an action-adventure game set in a war-torn country where players have to unravel the mysteries of their past and confront the human darkness that is fueling the chaos. I'm not 100% sure what is going on in this trailer but its got me very intrigued and I'll be sure to check it out when it launches on PS5 on September 4, 2025.
Lies of P: Overture
A DLC expansion to the puppet-themed soulslike Lies of P, Overture serves as a prequel to the original game, transporting players to the city of Krat in its final days during the late-19th-century Bell Epoque beauty. Players must follow the legendary Stalker through untold stories and chilling secrets as Geppetto's deadly puppet, set to release in Summer 2025.
Dreams of Another Announced
Dreams of Another is a third-person exploration action game built around the theme "There is no creation without destruction." It's a cool concept as players don't destroy objects by shooting them, but rather shots will materialize and rebuild the world around you. Coming to PS5 and PS Vr2 but no release date just yet.
Days Gone Remastered Announced
I'm not sure we needed a remaster for this one as it already looks great and I'm sure most fans would rather a sequel, but at least it's something! Days Gone Remastered will feature some bonus content that will also come to PC as a standalone Broken Road DLC. Both the remaster and DLC drop on April 25, 2025.
Stellar Blade x Goddess of Victory Nikke DLC
I'll take any Stellar Blade DLC as it's an amazing game. Stellar Bladex Goddess of Victory - Nikke DLC is coming to PS5 and PC in June 2025.
Blue Prince Announced
In Blue Prince, players discover secrets and mysteries in a house they build one room at a time. Each door is a decision, adding another layer of strategy, puzzles, and exploration, as you build an ever-changing manor of 45 shifting rooms. It looks really cool and like a unique mash-up of genres. Blue Prince is set to release on PS5 in Spring 2025.
Abiotic Factory headed to Consoles
Popular previously PC-exclusive survival crafting game Abiotic Factor is headed to consoles. 1-6 players can go solo or team up to venture into the depths of an underground research facility caught between a paranormal containment failure and a military crusade through a dozen realms. Abiotic Factor is coming to PS5 in Summer 2025 and will be available in the PS Plus Game Catalog.
Tides of Annihilation Announced
The animation and gameplay of Tides of Annihilation look amazing, but I'm a little thrown off by the dialogue. Still, this looks like it has a lot of potential. In Tides of Annihilation, the streets of London are engulfed by an Outworld invasion, and the only survivor, Gwendolyn, discovers a mysterious power to command the legendary Knights of the Round Table. She must then embark on a high-stakes journey across two worlds: a shattered modern-day London and the mythical world of Avalon as she desperately tries to save her sister. Coming to PS5 and enhanced for PS5 Pro "soon".
Metal Eden Revealed
Set in a dystopian future, players take on the role of ASKA, an advanced battle android on a suicide mission to rescue the citizen's cores from the vast monolith city Moebius in an adrenaline-rush sci-fi FPS called Metal Eden. Metal Eden is headed to PS5 on May 6, 2025.
MindsEye Revealed
No this isn't Grand Theft Auto 5.5, it's MindsEye. Play as Jacob Diaz, a former soldier fitted with a unique neural implant called The MindsEye that haunts him with fragmented memories from a covert mission that changed his life forever. In a relatable world of AI and high-tech experimentation and unchecked military power, Jacob must work in the shadows to find the answers he's looking for.
Saros Announced
As the trailer rolled on, I got serious Returnal vibes, so I was pleasantly surprised at the end to see that Saros is in fact that next game by Returnal developer Housemarque. Set on the planet of Carcosa which is under the threat of an ominous eclipse that surely serves as the roguelike mechanic of the game, players must progress through various deaths that reshape the world and give players permanent progression, power, and upgrades. It looks great but unfortunately we will have to wait until 2026 to get our hands on Saros.

Lavos Prime is here, meaning his Relics are going to be farmable as of today. For those who want to take the free-to-play route to get the mad alchemist, here's everything you need to know from Relics and crafting requirements.
All Lavos Prime relics in Warframe
Lavos Prime crafting requirements
The following are the required materials to craft each part for Lavos Prime in Warframe:
Blueprint:
Chassis
Systems
Neuroptics
The best Lith Relic farm
The best way to get Lith Relics in Warframe is to farm the missions Hepit or Teshub in the Void. These are low-level Extermination and Capture missions that can be completed in a few minutes with a proper speed-running build.
The best Meso Relic farm
Similar to Lith Relics, Meso Relic farming would also require you to speed run additional Exterminate or Capture missions. Ukko or Oxomoco are slightly higher in level, being in the Tier-2 realm to net you Meso Relics.
However, the drop tables in these missions also contain Neo Relics, being a good place to farm both types.
The best Neo Relic farm
While you can use the method above to get Neo Relics in Warframe, you can alternatively farm the Disruption mission, Apollo, on Lua. Every A-rotation guarantees you a Neo Relic, being a more consistent farm.
To ensure an A-rotation drop, you only have to play up to Round four and only defend one of the four conduits. So, you quite literally need to defend one and let all the others get blown up.
The best Axi Relic farm
As for Axi Relics, you will also have to play Apollo, but defend at least three or more conduits per Round. B and C rotations will reward you with an almost guaranteed Axi Relic, with C-rotations having a small chance of giving you a Lua Lens or Universal Medallion instead.
To fully optimize this, defend all four conduits on the first round, but defend one less until Round 4. At the fourth Round and onward, defend two at the most to only get B-rotations.
*Relic farms might seem inefficient due to Aya also diluting loot tables, but are still quite fast.
Best general Relic farm
If your Mastery Rank is at least 10 or higher, you can reliably farm Reputation with a few open-world Syndicates to get Relic Packs. Each Pack can be bought for 20,000 Standing, giving you three Relics in each one. While not guaranteed to give you the ones you need, these can be a good break from possibly burning out from target-farming.
These are the Syndicates that offer Relic Packs, the required ranks needed, and from which NPC:
Lastly, you can visit Teshin in any Relay to trade Steel Essence in for a Relic Pack. Each Pack costs 15 Steel Essence and has a weekly cap of 25 packs.

Dress to Impress' Sweetheart Dress is returning for the first time in over six months. While it originally came out in March 2024, it was removed a few months later, making it one of the rarest outfits in the entire experience. As of February 15, 2025, though, that'll change completely.
According to official Dress to Impress social media accounts, the Sweetheart Dress will be available again starting on February 15 at 11 a.m. ET. However, you'll only have 24 hours to redeem its code before it disappears indefinitely. Even though this isn't the first time we've seen the Sweetheart Dress, there's no telling whether it'll come back a third time.
Back in March 2024, you could get the first dress by redeeming the "SWEETHEART" code in-game, which gave you unlimited access to the outfit forever. Discord confirmed that the update will come with a code for the dress, so we anticipate it'll be similar, if not the exact same.
The Sweetheart Dress has also been completely reworked, with more defined patterns and color contrast compared to its 2024 design. Its old design had a light pink-purple hue with a slightly lighter heart on its chest. The new version, on the other hand, now has a small light band along the waist and cream-colored puffed sleeves to compliment its flowy appearance.
Dress to Impress' Sweetheart Dress will be available through reward codes for 24 hours starting February 15 at 11 a.m. ET. The dress is coming out alongside part two of DTI's Valentine's Day update, which also features the new Style Showdown game mode and other items to pair with it.

Dave the Diver has been getting a ton of crossovers since its inception, with the likes of Godzilla and Balatro. You would think there's already been enough to go around, but surprisingly enough, April 2025 will feature yet another DTD collaboration with the Yakuza: Like a Dragon RPG series.
Both titles have earned their spots in my top video game collection, starting with my childhood favorite, the Yakuza series, and most recently with my 2023 pick for GOTY, Dave the Diver. It's surreal to see the two blend together in the Ichiban's Holiday DLC. The announcement trailer shows Yakuza: Like a Dragon's Ichiban and Survive Bartender in DTD's retro pixelated graphic style as they walk into the famous Bancho Sushi restaurant. Ichiban still somehow found a way to take off his shirt in this iteration, but I suppose it makes sense since he'll be swimming around the Blue Hole.
In true Like a Dragon fashion, we'll see Ichiban in action in the traditional beat-em-up gameplay, using the help of Dave's companion, Cobra. You'll get to show a villainous dolphin-poaching syndicate who's boss through Dave's dynamic diving skills and Ichiban's all-powerful fighting style. There also seems to be a clash between Bancho and the Survive Bartender when the topic of their restaurant skills comes into the conversation.
While most situations will be riddled with intensity, there's still room for some downtime. Classic minigames from Yakuza: Like a Dragon's Kamurocho will instill some fun, including my most beloved pastime: the karaoke extravaganza. There will undoubtedly be a lot more to dive into, primarily with Dave the Diver's restaurant gameplay.
As a fan of both games, I can't wait for this one to come out, especially since I'll see my favorite video game characters interact with one another. Even if you haven't played the Like a Dragon series, you may be convinced enough once you hop into this crossover. So, get ready for its launch in April 2025 on PlayStation 4 and 5. Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will also be released soon to give you even more ocean adventures.

Civilization 7 has several faction types, from civilization leaders to smaller city-states, that can help you throughout your playthrough. However, while some are friendly, others are immediately hostile. If you're militaristic and have a strong army, destroying city-states has advantages.
How to destroy a city-state in Civilization 7 (Civ 7)
Destroying an independent city-state and removing it from the game requires attacking it until its defending units are gone. Once it's defenseless, set one of your units onto it and press the X button labeled "Disperse Independent." Doing this eliminates it from the game, rewarding you with culture and other perks alongside giving you one less obstacle to fight against.
Much like a regular civilization, you'll need a couple of heavy-hitting military units to tackle a city-state, especially if they're strong enough to have an army. More likely than not, you'll need to take out some of their units before attacking their main base. Alternatively, you can befriend them if you have some spare influence.
How to befriend a hostile city-state in Civilization 7 (Civ 7)
If your current Civilization 7 save is geared more toward smaller armies and friendship-building, you can befriend independent city-states by spending 170 influence. When you select the city-state, a "Befriend Independent" option will appear with an influence price tag, which you can buy to slowly raise your friendship and become their Suzerain.
Becoming an independent city-state Suzerain has multiple benefits, from receiving small gifts to incorporating it into your civilization. Every interaction costs influence, and other civilizations can (and will) actively compete with you to befriend them quicker so they can receive the friendship's benefits. Converting them to your side will help solve this, as does destroying them permanently. As a bonus, becoming Suzerain of city-states will help you unlock more civilizations.

It's probably not all that controversial to say that Baldur's Gate 3 is one of 2023's best games. Between a varied cast of lovable characters and an amazing story with surprising depth, it is a wonderful RPG that's one of the best in years.
But until this week, it was only on PC. That makes its extreme popularity impressive on its own, but many console players were no doubt feeling left out. With the PS5 version of Baldur's Gate 3 out, players stuck on that platform now can venture across the Sword Coast.
Baldur's Gate 3 is a fantastic couch co-op experience
I've been a big fan of Baldur's Gate 3, putting in about 170 hours in the PC version, including going mad in its Tactician difficulty. Before that, I finished several campaigns and spent a decent amount of time on the Early Access version.
As if it hasn't sucked enough of my life away on PC, I've had even more taken away with the PS5 port. With only about 20 hours in, split between local co-op and single-player campaigns, it's fascinating to experience the game from a whole new perspective. And to be honest, I love it.
My experience with this port has only been in Baldur's Gate 3's first act, but it has been excellent so far. Some quirks carry over from the PC version. I also have a couple of grievances that come more from personal experiences than anything specific to the game.
The most significant difference in my time between the versions is how I experienced them. I have only played single-player on the PC version, lamenting those organizing parties to create digital D&D chaos. This changed on the PS5, since I've been playing local co-op with friends.
Experiencing Baldur's Gate 3 with a friend sitting beside you is incredible. Menus and text can be a pain to read, but Larian compensates for the smaller real estate per person with some neat alterations. Every once in a while, the game cuts off an extra panel or some information, but it works within its limitations.
I'm more mixed on the player limit for split-screen. A two-player limit makes sense because the game's already stretching PS5's hardware by rendering separate images, but a four-player local co-op is theoretically outstanding. Unfortunately, my friends and I learned this the hard way. We attempted to connect over two players and couldn't. We only realized our mistake after looking it up.
This was definitely on me, but having that awkward moment sucked. The chaotic part of me laments not having a four-player option. Still, the logistic part understands that virtuoso performance and being able to read in-game text are even more critical.
Baldur's Gate 3 is still incredible to play sitting next to someone else. Both characters can role-play as their person, going on a unique story arc and bonding with separate party members. The primary campaign I've been playing even had my friend romance Lae'zel while my character still debates who she wants. It helps build an experience that we're both influencing this world and sitting together adds something special.
Baldur's Gate 3 is surprisingly great on a controller
I went into the Baldur's Gate 3 PS5 port, having some experience playing it with a controller. It's a little weird, but overall, it felt great on PC. That time dashed any concern that a console port would feel clunky. It was a big adjustment, but it felt natural the more I played.
Being limited to a controller on PS5 has not changed my thoughts. This version plays identically to its PC counterpart, and I couldn't be happier. The fundamental difference in feel is going from my monitor to my TV.
This accounts for the adjustment time needed to acclimate to the controller. Both friends I played the game with needed time to figure out how everything works, and we all slip up sometimes. Interacting with the environment with Cross and Square for actions makes sense, but others are strange. The action placements are fine, mostly, but jumping with Up on the D-pad is incredibly awkward when needing to do it multiple times. Remapping buttons are also unavailable on a controller, which is a shame.
Certain aspects, like walking around, feel comfortable on a controller. Direct control over a character gives more freedom of movement, and the command wheels lead to fewer misclicks from me. The overall feel is great, even if I still prefer the keyboard and mouse because of remappable key binds, making it possible to play using only the mouse.
When all's said and done, PS5 players are getting the same great experience those on PC have been getting. Larian Studios took the time to make controllers a competent substitute for keyboard and mouse in Baldur's Gate 3. Various menus and UI elements cater to controllers, with some screens showing more overall information.
Jaunting across Faerun with few hitches
Going into this port, I was concerned about how Baldur's Gate 3 performs on PS5. It's a demanding game, and performance is inconsistent on PC. BG3 runs okay on my PC, but demanding scenes can cause it to lurch momentarily. Meanwhile, the PS5 version promises a Performance mode at 60fps and a Quality mode offering native 1440p at 30fps. These are standard offerings this generation, and I'm happy to report it runs well.
Frame drops occur sometimes but are hardly noticeable. That is especially important because split-screen forces players into the Quality mode, so its stability is arguably even more critical. This could change later in the game, but the frame rate has stayed consistent.
I divided my time between playing Performance mode solo and Quality mode in co-op, and Baldur's Gate 3 doesn't buckle even with two players. Seeing the experience run smoothly was impressive, even though we've essentially been in a relatively stable forest area.
BG3 looks somewhat better on PC, but this was only noticeable when swapping between the different versions. Some texture quality and lighting seem to have taken a hit on PS5, but not to a degree anyone would reasonably care about. Baldur's Gate 3 is a great-looking game regardless of platform.
Something to note is that this version has some weird bugs that will probably get quashed in one of the extensive patches. In my time, I've seen things like my co-op partner temporarily having no control over their character and audio cutting out when we were both watching the same scene. I also had audio cut out when playing the game using headphones, but this could have been a controller issue. It also looks like Larian has started addressing these PS5-specific audio issues with the most recent hotfix.
Some things to consider when buying Baldur's Gate 3 on PS5
Lastly, it's important to note how cross-saving works. I swapped between my copies on PC and PS5 to try cross-saving, and I can say it works okay.
Instead of backing up all save data, the game only backs up the most recent saves on the latest campaign. This system works fine but encourages playing on a single campaign save when jumping across versions. I probably won't use it regularly, but the feature is neat for owners of both versions.
The fundamental difference between the two versions of Baldur's Gate 3 is what someone wants. The PS5 version is a good fit for anyone looking to host a local co-op campaign and potentially more stable performance. Both versions offer local co-op, but a PS5 is likely better set up for it. The PC version, meanwhile, has somewhat comfier controls and potentially better graphics. You can't go wrong with either version of this fantastic game, especially with both having update parity.
Baldur's Gate 3 on PS5 is an excellent version of a phenomenal game. Larian Studios knocked it out of the park with this conversion to the point it's my preferred way to play the game in multiplayer. The performance has also been rock solid, and the game looks terrific, so it's an easy recommendation.
My opinion might change if the quality dips later in the story, but Baldur's Gate 3 on PS5 has so far held up to the PC version's standards. I think it will continue to, and I will continue gallivanting through Faerun while sitting cozy on my couch.
How to enable split-screen co-op in BG3
To enable split-screen co-op in Baldur's Gate 3 on PS5, you must first launch the game and either star a new game or load a current save file. Once the game has loaded, plug in the second DualSense controller to your PS5, turn it on, and press X on it. This will bring up a prompt telling you that another player is trying to join, and you need to allow them to join to enable split-screen co-op.
You can do this at any point during the game's story. I tried it out with a brand new save file with a fresh character, and it worked just after meeting Lae'zel. The game will get the second player to create a new character, and they'll then join the game alongside the other player.
You can also enable split-screen co-op on PC in Baldur's Gate 3 using the exact same method. The game is extremely approachable, meaning all you need in order to play it with a friend in split-screen is two controllers and a single copy of the game.
[These impressions are based on a retail build of the game provided by the publisher.]

If you're looking to spend Valentine's Week with your loved one in the realms of video games, there are some perfect co-op titles to explore on your PS5.
Of course, co-op in video games can be slightly different based on which title you might be playing. There are not too many options currently available if you want to enjoy a split-screen experience with your partner. That said, enjoying online co-op is significantly easier and perfect if you're in a long-distance relationship. Here are some great examples.
Don't Starve Together
The console edition of Don't Starve Together is a perfect way to enjoy a survival game without it becoming too intense. I have always loved the Tim Burton-esque design of the game's world, and the survival elements make it a unique experience. Don't fall for the cartoonish appearance of the threats, as they can be extremely dangerous. If the wild doesn't get you, hunger and thirst might. Don't Starve Together is an okay experience if played alone, but the fun begins when playing with your loved one. There's an online co-op that works pretty seamlessly, and you can also enjoy different mods.
Spiritfarer
The co-op element in Spiritfarer is slightly limited, as one of you will be playing as Stella's cat, Daffodil. The main work must be done by Stella, the ferry master. However, your partner can help you complete certain mini-games and support you on your journey of ferrying the departed souls. Spiritfarer is the perfect casual experience that can be enjoyed by almost anyone (no need to be a pro gamer), and the couch co-op experience is pretty sweet.
The Dark Pictures Anthology
If you and your partner are strongly into horror movies, The Dark Pictures Anthology is a perfect set of stories to explore. Unlike horror movies, the two of you can control the decisions taken inside the games, taking turns in the Movie Night couch co-op mode to decide how the stories unfold. Out of the four stories, House of Ashes is by far the best one, so you should start with that episode. Apart from couch co-op, online multiplayer is available as well.
Overcooked 2
Too many cooks might not always spoil the broth, and you will find that out by playing Overcooked 2. In the sequel, you can play local co-op or switch to the online version if you and your partner have at least a few geographical miles in between. In Overcooked 2, you'll find out who is the better cook, as the objective is to score more than the other. Make sure not to become too competitive lest you want some unnecessary tension during Valentine's Week.
Stardew Valley
Stardew Valley might not have a local co-op, but it makes up for it with exceptionally satisfying gameplay, which can now be enjoyed with your friends and loved ones. In Stardew Valley, you can fish, farm, and socialize in the lovely location of Pelican Town, sharing a save with up to three more players. Just pay whether your partner is trying to grab the attention of one of the dateable NPCs.
Raft
If you ever wondered what survival might have looked like for Robinson Crusoe (to some extent), Raft might be the perfect experience. Your only means of survival is expanding your raft. While you can enjoy the game with your special other, there's no couch co-op. However, the online co-op works pretty smoothly and allows you to bypass the limitations of a long-distance relationship. Raft is one of those few games that is extremely easy to learn, but the advanced concepts take time and effort (almost like a relationship).
Cuphead
Cuphead is a journey down nostalgia, as the esthetics and design elements of the cartoons from the 1930s heavily inspire it. With your partner, you can enjoy hand-drawn graphics and retro elements that are hardly seen in modern days. Cuphead is way more enjoyable if you play with your beloved using the local co-op function. The objective is to play as Mugman and Cuphead as you explore the world, acquire new weapons, and complete the different stages. It's a simple game to enjoy on Valentine's Day, and some sessions can be a blast.
The Forest
If you ever have the fear of getting stuck on an island full of cannibals with your beloved, The Forest helps you envision what might actually happen. Thankfully, death in a video game means nothing (unlike in real life), but playing together will certainly increase your chances. Together, you will find it easier to communicate, build, and survive the horror of the island. There's no local co-op, which is perhaps the only negative aspect.
It Takes Two
It Takes Two is arguably my favorite co-op game to play with your partner. It's simple, colorful, and intense, as some puzzles are incredibly hard to solve unless you communicate well with your special other. An additional brownie point can also be awarded as you and your partner will play as husband and wife. A fun game, It Takes Two, is one of the best examples of what a good local co-op experience should be.
A Way Out
Before It Takes Two, we had A Way Out. By today's standards, the prison-escape simulator might feel a bit outdated in terms of graphics, but the gameplay remains evergreen. Unlike It Takes Two, you and your partner will have to help two prisoners escape the jail with the help of parkour-based moves. Thanks to split-screen co-op, the two of you can enjoy it all from the same couch.

Season 15 will witness a huge change in how heroes have worked in Overwatch 2, as Blizzard will introduce a new perk system.
As part of the new system, every hero will have a set of major and minor perks, dictating how the characters work in a battle. It's safe to say that the perk system will be one of the biggest overhaul players could have expected, and it will force players to think strategically.
In every match, the characters chosen by a player will level up twice. Each time, they must choose between a perk, with two options available for each type (Minor and Major). Let's take a look at all the perks that will be available for each character in Overwatch 2.
All Damage hero perks in Overwatch 2
All Tank hero perks in Overwatch 2
All Support hero perks in Overwatch 2
With the new perk system, things will certainly heat up in Season 15, and some cool additions are coming to Overwatch 2.

The Strength stat in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is arguably the most important of the five stats, and has extremely useful perks to boot. Here are the best Strength perks you can choose in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
Best Strength Perks worth getting in KCD2
There are 13 Perks in total available from the Strength stat, with the first requiring Level 6 and the final perk Heracle requiring Level 18. While each of the perks can be useful based on exactly what you're looking to accomplish, there are some perks that are overall more useful than others. We've ranked the 5 best Strength Perks that all players should go for in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
5. Heracles
Even though it's the final Strength Perk in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Heracles is more of an overall quality-of-life perk compared to some of the more useful perks on this list. That being said, it gives an immense amount of QOL. Heracles increases your Charisma by 1 for every 5 levels of Strength you have. Charisma affects various skillchecks including trading and bartering, which makes it very useful overall. With Heracles, having 25 Strength would give you an additional 5 Charisma, which is huge as Charisma can be tougher to acquire.
4. Strong as a Bull
Available at Level 12, Strong as a Bull is a simple perk that increases your carrying capacity by 20 pounds. Carrying capacity is one of the more limiting stats in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, really restricting how much you can effectively carry around without being over-encumbered. And, for comparison, 20 pounds is a huge increase, resulting in a nearly 15% or more increase in your total carrying capacity. There are similar perks like Pack Mule which increases it by 12 pounds and Hard-Working Lad which increases it by 8 pounds that should also be considered.
3. Train Hard, Fight Easy! and Train Hard, Fight Easy! II
Both of these two perks lower the required Strength you will need to wield certain weapons effectively. Even though you can equip any weapon without reaching certain stat thresholds, they will deal reduced damage if you are under that threshold and more damage if you are over it. As such, both of these perks will increase the damage you are able to do, and will improve damage scaling with all weapons. The first version of this perk lowers Strength requirements by 2 and the second reduces it by another 5.
2. Grand Slam and Grand Slam II
The two Grand Slam Strength perks increase the blunt damage you deal with all melee weapons by 5%, for a combined total of 10%. While at a glance it may seem like this isn't worth using if you use sharp weapons like a sword instead of blunt weapons like a mace, that's not the case. Even though sharp weapons are more oriented to that type of damage, they still deal blunt damage as well, so will still benefit from these two Strength Perks.
1. Vanguard
Available at Level 12, Vanguard is an incredibly useful Strength Perk that make it so Shield Blocks cost you 30% less Stamina. Throughout Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, shield blocking is an incredibly useful defensive mechanic that you will be executing a lot during battles, but it takes a hefty amount of Stamina to do which can drain your Stamina and make you less effective in battle when overwhelmed. By reducing the Stamina loss by 30% with each block, you're able to stay in the fight much longer without having to back away to replenish it.

Monopoly GO's Golden Blitz event is a highly anticipated recurring event, as it's the only way to trade gold stickers with other players. Since golden cards are hard to come by, knowing the time of the next Golden Blitz event will help you decide which ones to trade.
When is the next Monopoly GO Golden Blitz event?
Monopoly GO's latest Golden Blitz of the Artful Tales season starts on February 12, 2025, at 8 a.m. ET and lasts until February 13. Although there's no word on when the next Golden Blitz will appear, Golden Blitz events during this season have a weekly scheduling pattern so far. We anticipate the next one to begin sometime in late February or early March.
Typically, Golden Blitz events occur once every one to two weeks, with the middle of a season ramping up the number more. However, this depends entirely on a season's duration, as a long season may have them more spaced out.
How to trade Gold Stickers in Monopoly GO
The only way to trade gold stickers in Monopoly GO is to wait until Golden Blitz begins. During Golden Blitz, you'll find a gold card icon on the right side of the screen that shows which stickers you own when you tap on it. If you have more than one, you can send it to anyone on your friends list, letting you send it as a gift or trade it for something of equal value. Similarly, if you don't have any, you can send requests and hope someone feels generous.
However, you can only trade the two gold cards that are active in Golden Blitz. Rather than having every sticker available to swap, you're limited to the two you see on the in-game event screen until future Golden Blitz mini-events roll by. If you need a specific card, you'll either need to wait until another Golden Blitz starts or hope you get it through a sticker pack. You can also participate in events to grab a Wild Sticker, but these are rare and hard to come by, so use them wisely.
Previous Golden Blitz events in Monopoly GO
Since Golden Blitz events typically don't repeat stickers, knowing which have already appeared can help you decide which are safe to convert to stars for your prize boxes.
Since Artful Tales' second Golden Blitz started recently, we can check out its date patterns and full sticker list. Here is the complete list of Golden Blitz events from Artful Tales so far.
Since Artful Tales doesn't end until March 6, 2025, you have plenty of time to use these to make important sticker trading decisions before the season ends. These patterns also reveal that Golden Blitz events are typically weekly. However, we won't know the exact pattern until more Monopoly GO events arrive later in the season.
If you have duplicates of a previously featured Golden Blitz sticker, you can safely assume they won't reappear. The exception is any Golden Blitz event where the community votes on the next stickers, as there's a chance they'll pick a sticker already appearing in previous events. Although the odds are low, it's still possible.

It's time to celebrate Valentine's Day with Monopoly GO's latest Partners event, Sweets Partners. Whether you're teaming up with a romantic partner or participating with fellow single folks, anyone can win the event's grand prize of 5,000 dice, a cute teddy bear board token, and, most importantly, a Wild Sticker.
Table of contents
All Sweets Partners event rewards in Monopoly GO
Monopoly GO's Sweets Partners event has five reward tiers for every partner spot. As you build up each space alongside your partners, you'll advance through reward tiers, with a grand prize available after finishing all four spots. Here's the list of Sweets Partners rewards:
The first five levels apply to each partner space, allowing you to receive them up to four times. In other words, while completing the first level of one space gives you 200 dice, completing the first level on all four spaces gives you 800. Similarly, if you finish the event and get the extra 5,000 grand prize dice, you'll get anywhere between 9,400 and 11,400 in total, depending on how lucky you get with each prize box.
Sweets Partners also introduces a new feature that replaces Partner prize spots on the point wheel with a mystery Valentine's-themed version. When you land on this, you can choose between sending your partner tokens as usual or sending a mystery gift. These usually consist of dice or cash at lower levels, while higher ones grant powerups and other goodies. Everything adds up!
How to find partners for the Sweets Partners event
During the Sweets Partners event's duration, your Monopoly board will transform its center space into special event spots. Although they're empty at first, tapping them brings up your friends list, where you can invite friends to join you. You can add as many people as you'd like, but the first four that respond will become your partners. Similarly, if someone adds you before you open the menu, you'll find their request at the top of the list.
How to score points in the Sweets Partners event
Scoring points during Sweets Partners requires picking up pink heart tokens scattered around your Monopoly board. They appear randomly and directly scale with your dice multiplier, giving you a renewable source of these tokens. Once you collect some, you can use them to spin the event's wheel in your partner space menus.
Aside from collecting hearts around your board, you can also get them by participating in events and tournaments, claiming free shop gifts, and completing your Daily Quick Wins.
When does the Sweets Partners event end?
Monopoly GO's Sweets Partners event ends on February 17, 2025, at 12 p.m. PT or 3 p.m. ET. Every Partners event gives you five days to work together with your partners to gain points and win the grand prize. As long as you gain around 30,000 points a day and have partners who pull their weight, you shouldn't have many problems completing each spot. However, ensuring you have partners who contribute their fair share of points is key to winning and claiming your dice and Wild Sticker prize.

Fields of Mistria is an absolutely glorious cozy life sim that is still in early access, but that hasn't stopped the developers at NPC Studio from releasing regular updates. Just over six months since the early access release, we're about to get the second major update.
The next update will be coming on March 10, including a host of new features for players to dive into whether they choose to start a new farm or continue with their original one. As part of this second major update, players will finally get to meet Caldarus in the flesh (as opposed to his statue on the farm), and we'll also get access to the mysterious Deep Woods.
We know all of this is coming in this update thanks to the Fields of Mistria 2025 roadmap that was originally shared on January 17:
As a player since day one, I'm most looking forward to diving back into the Mines, where a new Fire Seal will be added, granting access to an entirely new fiery biome of 20 floors complete with new enemies, resources, and collectibles.
Most of the additions are fan-requested, and there is a long list of less pivotal but no less exciting features coming as well. Sprinklers are coming (hallelujah), we can have pets, and players will even be able to tweak the speed at which time progresses in their own game.
This is a rare feature in even the behemoths in the cozy game sphere. Stardew Valley, which is probably the closest comparison to Fields of Mistria, does not have this if you're playing a vanilla game, and you need to install mods such as TimeSpeed to enable this absolute life-saver of a feature. To have it as a basic option in Fields of Mistria is sure to help it stand out from the crowd of pixel-based cozy games, even more than it already does.
Sadly, the option to romance Olric seems to be becoming less and less likely as time progresses and more updates are released. However, Caldarus is known to be a romanceable character, so there will soon be more faces within the dating pool of Mistria, even if he is a bit of a dragon.

As you progress through Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you'll likely notice several decorative sea-themed chests spread across Friendship Island. At first, these chests are impossible to open, which can be incredibly frustrating.
These chests are called Radiant Chests, and some unique items are waiting to be discovered once you can open them. However, reaching the point where you can open them is a challenge requiring a hefty amount of story and friendship progression.
How to get Coral Keys in Hello Kitty Island Adventure
Coral Keys are obtained by donating Trash to the Recycling Plant. We have a full guide on how to unlock the Recycling Plant, but here's a quick checklist of quests that you'll need to complete to reach that point:
Once you've done that, you can start donating Trash to the Recycling Plant. Each time you donate 10 Trash to the Recycling Plant, there is a chance that you can get one Coral Key.
However, this is down to chance and RNG. Each time you donate, you're equally likely to receive Coral Spores of Black dye, so you'll need a lot of Trash and no small amount of luck if you want a supply of Coral Keys.
On the plus side, Trash is not a finite resource. Unlike any other resource in Island Adventure, there is no maximum number of Trash that can be collected each day, and it will continually respawn around Rainbow Reef every 2-3 minutes for as long as you're willing to collect it. I've marked all of the spawn points for Trash on the map above.
Radiant Chest items in Hello Kitty Island Adventure
There's no point grinding away and collecting Trash if there aren't worthwhile rewards on offer. Thankfully, the items inside Radiant Chests are worth grinding for, with some items that can't be obtained elsewhere. There are even some recipes for three-heart gifts within these chests, which are great to stock up on.
Here's everything you can get from Radiant Chests in Island Adventure:
Whatever you get from your chosen Radiant Chest, you can choose to either leave the open chest where it is or destroy it using your Pickaxe. Destroying a chest does not provide any resources or items, so this is purely an aesthetic choice.

Task 5 - Netherlands
Task 6 - League Legend
Task 7 - Top-notch
Task 8 - 87-Rated Squad
It appears that EA Sports is on a pursuit to not give Patrick Kluivert an useable item in Ultimate Team. Despite having great roles, the card is let down by its poor choice of playstyles. Neither Power Shot+ nor Trivela+ are top tier choices, and some of the silver playstyles are also questionable.
Additionally, the in-game stats aren't anything worth writing about, and the SBC isn't exactly cheap. In comparison, the Morgan Rogers Future Stars SBC has a better value proposition. If you're desperate for a new striker, just spend the extra fodder to obtain the new Torres Icon card in Ultimate Team.

The introduction of the Commander's Bracket in Magic: The Gathering will change the way the format has worked so far, and the first list of Game Changers is also available.
Five brackets have been introduced, geared towards both competitive and casual play. Before we deep dive into the list of Game Changers, it's important to understand how the brackets will work. While it won't be necessary to use the bracket system, it will be perfect for those players who have been asking for a change.
All Commander Brackets in Magic: The Gathering
Despite being in the beta stage, there will be five different brackets. Bracket 1 will have the easiest set of rules, while Bracket 5 will be great for competitive play.
Complete list of Game Changers in Magic: The Gathering
If the term isn't indicative enough, Game Changers includes the big cards that will be part of the competitive Commander decks. They will have the potential to completely change the tide of a battle if played right (hence the name, I suppose), and 40 of them have been officially confirmed (spread across seven different colors).
White
Blue
Black
Red
Green
Multicolor
Colorless
These Commander brackets are in a beta phase, so feedback from the players will be crucial in shaping how the system works in the future.

Costing just north of a million coins worth of fodder, obtaining this card won't be cheap. You'll require a lot of higher-rated fodder and might need to buy some from the market. I love how this card looks, and he might be a perfect item to add in the CM position. He has four different Roles++, and the combination of Incisive Pass+ and Pinged Pass+ is absolutely amazing to use.
He also offers base Intercept, Tiki Taka, Finesse Shot, Long Ball, and Relentless. If you can spare the fodder, this Bastian item might be a worthwhile addition to your midfield. If you don't have a high budget, the Andrea Pirlo Future Stars Icon SBC is another option.
