With the upcoming release of Monster Hunter Wilds, it is now time to take a look at the entire beloved and highly successful Capcom series as a whole. The crux of this franchise is hunting down various beasts. But what is the best monster in the entire Monster Hunter series to date? Siliconera Speaks Up: Our Favorite Monster Hunter Enemies
I like the funny little round fellas like the Gobul from 3 and the Nibelsnarf from 3p. They're both threatening, but also kind of adorable and have silly names. I'm also a big fan of the Seltas Queen and hope she gets to have a comeback in the series sometime, as both the monster and armor design for it were great. -- Elliot
I think Paolumu is absolutely adorable. Definitely a top-tier, super cute character. Totally one of my favorites, both to fight and befriend in Monster Hunter Stories. However, I also like Khezu a whole bunch since it is so, so silly. -- Jenni
The Nargacuga will always be my personal favorite. It has a fantastic design that is reminiscent of a dark wyvern mixed with an almost bat-style design. It is fast and incredibly memorable. I am also extra partial to it since it was one of my trusty partners in the wonderful but criminally underplayed Monster Hunter Stories 2.
Speaking of Monster Hunter Stories 2, I appreciate how that particular title flipped the script on the whole monster-hunting situation. Being able to collect, hatch, and fight alongside the monsters we previously hunted brought more nuance and depth to them. It also allowed me to care more about the monsters, rather than just see them as a foe standing in my way. As such, I'm still holding out hope for a Monster Hunter Stories 3 in the near future so I can fight alongside my bestie Nargacuga again. -- Cody

The Mariana's Veil Bestiary is now live in Fisch as part of the major update, and there are plenty of new species to catch and add to your in-game collection.
The new bestiary can be divided into five different parts based on the location. While we keep working on finding out how to catch all the fish (and items) that are exclusive to the new location, here's all the available information we currently have.

All 10 fishes in Volcanic Vents bestiary in Fisch
Volcanic Vents is going to be the very first area you'll come across after you gain access to your submarine. Without the new vehicle, it will be impossible to enjoy the contents of the update. Check out this guide to find out more about how you can get your submarine.
Just proceed through the opening in Roslit Bay and follow the light emitting from the vines to reach the Volcanic Vents. Be very careful around the burning rocks, and use your gliders to gain access to the fishing area. Here is all the information we have about the ten species you can catch at this location.
All nine fishes in Challenger's Deep bestiary in Fisch
Challenger's Deep is the second area you can access in Mariana's Veil, and it has nine unique species of its own. Two of them are more crucial, as they will help you to upgrade your submarine and gear.
All 10 fishes in Abyssal Zenith bestiary in Fisch
The Abyssal Zenith is the third region you can reach in the Mariana's Veil update, and it has ten different species to catch. To access this location, you'll have to get the Ice Upgrade applied to your Submarine and get the Glimmerfin Suit to Level 2.

There are plenty of creatures you can catch in Fisch, but landing the secret fish is the hardest task to complete.
So far, there are thirteen secret fish that can be caught inside the game, but they can prove to be stern tests. These thirteen creatures are the hardest ones to catch, and they're not even part of the official bestiary. Let's take a look at how you can obtain them inside the game. Originally, there used to be three of them, but the recent updates and increased the total number.
How to catch all six secret fish in Fisch
As of the latest Marian's Veil update, there are 13 species to catch.
The greatest difficulty of getting the secret fish is their spawn rate. They're not part of the official bestiary, which means that you're not supposed to find them inside the game. The Banana Fish, for example, is only meant for admins and partnered content creators. Yet, you might get lucky and land one with the correct setup.
Thankfully, you don't really need the very best rods to land them. You should fully focus on Season, Weather, and Bait, along with the locations. The odds of landing these fish are low, to begin with. Without the preferred setup, it will be next to impossible to catch these creatures, irrespective of your rod and player levels.

Though in many ways similar to the original Elden Ring, the upcoming standalone expansion Elden Ring Nightreign looks different, causing some to fear it might pale when compared to the rest of FromSoftware's works.
Prolific Elden Ring Youtuber Zullie The Witch has released a video showing things are actually going pretty well — at least when it comes to bosses — as FromSoftware seems to have once again messed with the formula and perfectly adapted it to the game's new core system.
Nightreign is primarily meant as a cooperative experience. This means the boss experience could be hindered because the original bosses would easily be outsmarted and obliterated by a team of three thinking minds. Either that or the studio could be forced to buff the bosses into absolute sword sponges that would make their encounters fun for no one.
That's not the case, as Nightreign features an evolved boss experience, one with the co-op factor in mind. In short, the new boss encounters featured in the beta feel less like typical Souls bosses and more like bosses from an MMO that require Souls knowledge and skills to beat. Boss encounters won't necessarily feature just one enemy but rather a main enemy accompanied by soldiers or wave spawns that will require players to adapt their approach to battle.
One of the Souls series' greatest achievements was the reinvention of the video game boss. Out of nowhere, the tired trope of the simply bigger enemy waiting for you at the end of the level became one of the most memorable parts of the game due to the mechanical complexity and variety of FromSoft's bosses. Also, they now could be popping up anywhere.
Nightreign aims at a different Souls experience, one focused on a kind of co-op play also inspired by Battle Royale and Roguelite titles. If that sounds confusing, that's probably just a sign that FromSoftware is again seriously tinkering with our conception of games, and that seems like a good thing.
Elden Ring Nightreign comes out on May 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

FC Pro Season 7 reintroduces the professional esports leagues for EA FC 25 players, and it all commences with the La Liga.
To celebrate the occasion, EA Sports has introduced a new objective that has several tasks and rewards. Earning all the rewards is pretty easy, as you'll have to watch the streams over the next few days. Let's take a look at all the available rewards and learn how to complete the full objective.
EA FC 25 FC Pro Season 7 objective guide
The FC Pro Season 7 has five tasks, and all of them have individual rewards.
If you complete all the tasks, you'll also get a 83+ x5 Rare Gold Players Pack, which has a chance to reward you with walkout and promo items. There are some terrific items belonging to the Fantasy FC promo which are currently available in packs. All the items can get different upgrades in the future, so make sure to be on the lookout for them.

The Fantasy FC League is now live in EA FC 25, and it's time to test yourself in friendlies in order to earn different rewards.
The Fantasy FC League objective has several tasks, and completing them will help you to get all the rewards. There are plenty of valuable fodder packs to win, but the icing is the three promo items. If you can really go all the way, there's a cool-looking 92-rated Maicon Fantasy FC Hero to get.
EA FC 25 Fantasy FC League objective guide
The Fantasy FC League objective is all about winning as many games as possible in Ultimate Team. There are certain requirements you'll have to follow when it comes to the squad that you can use in the cup.
If you manage to complete all the tasks, you'll also earn a bonus 88+ x5 Rare Gold Players Pack. However, this won't be an easy objective to complete. The cup will run for 12 days, and it will be broken down into three periods.
During each period, you'll have 12 entries to try and get a maximum of 12 wins. The total number of wins you can accumulate over the three periods will be your complete record for the league, and you'll be rewarded accordingly.
Both Fantasy cards of Bennacer and Maicon will be eligible for upgrades in the future, and make sure to follow our tracker to stay update about all the changes.

The Challenger's Rod is one of the five new rods added to Fisch as part of the Mariana's Veil update, and finding it can be a bit of a headache.
In terms of costs, the new update has rods that are way more expensive. However, the location of this rod can make you lose a few hairs if you don't know where to look. Assuming you have already got your submarine by speaking with Dr. Glimmerfin, here's how you can find the Challenger's Rod in Fisch.
How to obtain the Challenger's Rod in Fisch
The Challenger's Rod is located in the Challenger Deep, which is the second level of the Mariana's Veil location. If you have a GPS device, travel to the coordinates (XYZ: 740, -3350, -1530). Once you rise to the surface, go to the point from where you can upgrade your Glimmerfin suit.
You'll find a tunnel with a portal that will allow you to exit the location. Just take the tunnel and head straight down the path. There are no other directions to take from this point, so continue traveling straight till the tunnel ends. You can use your glider since the terrain will be rough. Once the tunnel ends, you'll reach the Ice Fishing Cave.
Once you reach this point, just drop down one level and look to your right. You'll find the Challenger's Rod, which can be purchased for $2,500,000.
Is the Challenger's Rod worth buying in Fisch?
If you're a beginner, chances are that you won't have the credits to get this rod. If you're a late-game player, however, having the credits shouldn't be an issue at all. This raises the question: should you spend two and a half million in-game credits?
Here are the stats of the new rod.
The new rod is certainly worth the coins, thanks to the combination of 80% Lure Speed and 110% Luck. With new secret species being added regularly to the game, it's certainly useful to have high Lure Speed and Luck.
Additionally, the infinite weight capacity is also useful if you're going for the weightier species to catch. All things considered, purchasing this rod will be a wise decision considering its stats. Of course, make sure to check out the full Mariana's Veil Bestiary to complete your collection as soon as possible.
