The studio is making changes to the tactical FPS to meet first-party console certification requirements, revising in-game instances of gore, nudity, and other extreme material to prepare for the game's move to other platforms. These alterations will also be reflected in the PC version, which has led to players significantly review bombing the shooter on Steam. Now, Void Interactive tells its community that it may use mods to reverse these changes, and also offers more details on why maintaining two separate versions of the game is not practically possible.

When is The Outer Worlds 2 release date? It's been a while since Obsidian Entertainment's first space venture, but it had much of the same DNA as the Fallout series. This isn't necessarily surprising, given that Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky, the creators of the Fallout series, were the game's directors. Now, we're finally getting the chance to head back to Halcyon in The Outer Worlds 2.

The first in Obsidian's space adventure series was an enjoyable RPG game, perhaps hampered by the studio's upcoming Microsoft acquisition. The Outer Worlds 2 was confirmed to be in active development in June 2021, and a release date window has now dropped, and it's soon. Here's what we know about the release date window for The Outer Worlds 2 and what we can speculate about the upcoming space game sequel.

Extraction shooters both old and new are everywhere you look right now, but a secondary wave of PvPvE mania and loot paranoia is arriving thanks to a flurry of extraction RPGs. Dark and Darker is arguably the forefather of this subgenre, and there are several exciting rivals on the way. An ever-growing game collection is a problem for your storage, but it might be bigger than we all realised. The June 2025 Steam hardware survey has some interesting nuggets of data that point to gamers not having much space on their drives, leaving some tough decisions to be made – which games to keep, and which ones to trash?

Jokes aside, it's no wonder that Steam gamers are seeing their free storage capacity come under strain, with the biggest budget games just taking up more and more disk space (we're looking at you, Call of Duty). It's not as if we're short of good storage options, as our best gaming SSD guide shows, but this hardware survey suggests that gamers aren't necessarily filling up their PCs with extra SSDs to cope with the demand.

It looks as though AMD is prepping a new budget gaming GPU that will be cheaper than $299, undercutting the existing Radeon RX 9060 XT. The new AMD Radeon RX 9060, without an XT suffix, has just appeared in the release notes for the latest version of AIDA64, a diagnostics and monitoring software package for PC hardware, suggesting that AMD is planning a new release to counter the recently announced Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050.

While the Radeon RX 9060 XT is now the top recommendation for a budget gaming GPU on our guide to buying the best graphics card, AMD currently doesn't have an offering to counter the new $249 Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050. Valve say a Mount & Blade: Warband mod which reportedly misrepresented the events of the South Korean Gwangju Uprising was pulled offline worldwide by its creator, with the folks behind Steam only having blocked its distribution in South Korea.

The mod, reported on by Automaton yesterday, was called "Gwangju Running Man" and was a total conversion that turned Mount and Blade's medieval warfare into an apparently warped depiction of 1980's student-led protests against the military coup of Chun Doo-hwan, which were violently supressed by the country's army. Around 200 people are estimated to have been killed during the uprising.

If you've been enjoying Peak, but reckon its towering mountains aren't filling you with enough existential dread, there's a mod you need to check out. It's called Everest, and it fills your game with other players' dead bodies.

Well, skeletons to be exact, and possibly over 10,000 of them by the sounds of it. That's more bones that you'll find at Crufts, and it looks to turn the co-op climbing game from Another Crab's Treasure devs Aggro Crab and Content Warning devs Landfall into the sort of morbid fun you can usually only have by chucking a frisbee around the garden of a crematorium. No, I haven't done that last bit. Yet.

Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar Trailer Highlights Gameplay

The remake of Harvest Moon DS: Grand Bazaar is on the way, and Marvelous shared a new Japanese trailer going through some of the gameplay elements and showing how Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar will look.

This trailer is rather brief and under six minutes. It begins by showing what Zephyr Town looks like in this installment. This is the first time it appeared in full 3D. It shows the bazaar briefly, a market that's since fallen out of favor and become rather unpopular. We then see the avatar walk into town. First a male one is shown, and then it shifts to show the female version of the player character. Some of the town's residents appear after that, including the two new romance options Arata and Diana.

From there, gameplay on the ranch is highlighted. We can grow crops in fields in front of the house. It's also possible to raise cows, chickens, sheep, and alpaca. After that, we get to see how the winds in Zephyr Town allow us to process items at windmills to make things like perfume from flowers and cheese from milk. It's possible to use a glider to more quickly get around the area. After that, we see how the weekly bazaar is the means of selling our produce and products or buy from others. Since there's no shipping bin, this is our means of getting funds to grow our farms and do more.

Toward the end of the video, we get to see how we can interact with townsfolk. This could also mean finding love with certain bachelors and bachelorettes. It's also possible to raise a family and have a child once married.

Here's the full trailer:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQ_aiDRfLgg

Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar will come to the Switch, Switch 2, and PC on August 27, 2025, and the original Harvest Moon DS: Grand Bazaar appeared on the DS worldwide.

Review: Islanders: New Shores Is Compelling and Challenging

After playing both Islanders and Islanders: New Shores, I can't help but think the former almost feels like a tech demo for the latter. It felt like a very pleasant strategic simulation about placing elements and buildings in situations that led to optimal point totals and moving forward. However, in almost every way Islanders: New Shores offersmore, introducing elements that make each run feel both strategic and roguelike. At the same time, the game maintains its a low-pressure, enjoyable atmosphere.

Each Islanders: New Shores run that doesn't involve either a free play situation or loading up a past save from a traditional run to play around with it follows the same sense of progression. You come to an empty island in the ocean. You place different elements, such as resources like hops, seaweed farms, or fields and the buildings tied to them, buildings commonly associated with crafting, more religious ones like a mountain temple or a shaman, or city elements like a town center, homes, mansions, markets, and circuses. Depending on how you place them, there can be different reactions and you can earn (or lose) points. The updated UI makes it very easy to see how buildings and items affect each other, and it clearly shows the sphere of influence and point changes for each placement. To keep playing, you need to constantly fill an ever-growing circle to hit new point tiers. You also need to reach certain hallmarks to move onto new islands in each run.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obfnevRIUAQ

All of that should sound familiar, as it builds on concepts from the original Islanders, but Islanders: New Shores expands on the formula in every way. For example, there are far more buildings this time around. Some of these are more special items that might only start showing up in a run if you select them as a Boon or direction after completing an island and moving on to the next. Cliff houses are one example, as they are the standard versions of homes that can be built on vertical landmasses and ruin elements. An aviary with pigeons that continues to accumulate points between islands is another. So is a sort of pyre, with the points you get for the flame's placement being tied to things like city structures. It makes it feel a lot more strategic, as some elements like the mountain-top temple, shaman, parks, fountains, and jewelers pretty much require you to think ahead and know "okay, this will come if I select this upgrade pack of new buildings after I get enough points to level up this island." There are even different cosmetic options for some buildings, which is fun when you're in the free-build mode.

Another roguelike element I love comes up as you accrue enough points to head to a new, fresh island in a run. There will be certain milestones as you wait to reach that point that allows you to choose between one of two kinds of rewards. These can grant you buffs, such as a structure will be smaller in size than usual for easier placement or won't trigger negative points from being too close to a similar type of structure, buildings, immediate level ups, and other bonuses that make it easier to reach the level up and point milestones to progress.

Once you do head to a new island in the same run, you also get to make another choice. You can always choose between two options, with each one offering two guaranteed changes. These tend to each offer a different type of biome for the new area and a new structure unlock. So if you want to move away from fishing and seaweed farm-based runs, you can choose one where water is replaced by lava. You can opt for the "fantasy" islands, which can offer bonuses for basically activating certain ruins. It adds more control to everything, which I love.

And if it goes awry, it genuinely feels like it is no big deal. You can save an island in any point during your run to access in the free-build mode. (It's also possible to start fresh there.) Free-build offers no restriction or limits dictated by points. Winning just means getting to build more, so needing to stop means you get to start fresh.

The only downside I found is that RNG played a big part in exactly how well you might do in Islanders: New Shores. With your first two islands in a run during the campaign, you're practically guaranteed to succeed and be able to continue on. However by the third one in pretty much every run, I noticed that the odds of failure were higher both due to higher point requirements and smaller landmasses. Granted, the more you play, the more accustomed you'll get to these kinds of curveballs, but it might disappoint someone who played the original and was more accustomed to its gentler nature.

Islanders: New Shores is, in every way, an improvement from the original Islanders. I found myself continually coming back to it due to the Boons, new array of buildings, and ability to select my "path" in each run. I would sometimes, instead of stepping away after a run, instead save and then immediately go into the free-play sandbox to add more to the island that tripped me up to make it look exactly how I wanted. It's an incredibly pleasant strategy game.

Islanders: New Shores will be available on the Switch, Xbox Series X, PS5, and PC on July 10, 2025.

Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories Cards Return in 2025

The Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories playing cards, which are designed to resemble the cards used to make decks and attack in Chain of Memories and the PS2 remake, will be sold once again. The Japanese Square Enix e-Store listing is live ahead of its November 29, 2025 return. It will cost 3,080円 (~$21).

This is a standard deck of playing, but they're designed to look like the cards we used in both Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Re:Chain of Memories to attack. This means that many still feature the same designs of Keyblades and characters on them. In the bottom right corner of each, there's a circle with the number/rank, and the suit is noted there as well. Each one has a crown shape at the top, just like the cards in-game. You end up with 54 cards total, with two being Jokers.

Here's how those look:

We've seen these Kingdom Hearts playing cards before. They first showed up in September 2023. Those did appear worldwide, though the US Square Enix store doesn't currently have a pre-order listing for this new run of the deck.

The Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories playing cards deck returns to Japan on November 29, 2025. The original Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories appeared on the GBA, and the remake showed up on the PS2. The PS2 version of the game is also found in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix.

Ghost of Yotei State of Play Stream Appears This Week

Sony and Sucker Punch announced they'll go over more details and gameplay from Ghost of Tsushima sequel Ghost of Yotei in a State of Play stream on July 10, 2025. This is the presentation promised in from the PS5 State of Play on June 4, 2025. This showcase will air on YouTube and Twitch at 2pm PT/5pm ET/11pm CET. It will last for about 20 minutes, so make sure you keep a half-hour free to see more of the new game.

Aside from this being a deep dive into Ghost of Yotei, we don't know too much about what the State of Play stream will show. Sony only confirmed that this showcase will feature the Sucker Punch Creative Directors Jason Connell and Nate Fox going over characters, mechanics, and the new journey.

The placeholder isn't live on YouTube yet. There is a video teasing it from the June 2025 general State of Play Sony held. It showed heroine Atsu in front of a fire. She asked if someone was "still with her." A wolf then appeared and snarled.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRiTEkU3Utg&t=1s

As a reminder, the original Ghost of Tsushima got similar treatment ahead of its debut. Back in May 2020, Sony and Sucker Punch released an almost 20 minute State of Play for that game.

Ghost of Yotei will come to the PS5 on October 2, 2025, and the State of Play stream highlighting new details will air at 2pm PT/5pm ET/11pm CET on July 10, 2025.

See Honkai: Star Rail Saber Gameplay From the Fate Event

HoYoVerse shared a new "Keeping Up with Star Rail" YouTube installment focused entirely on how the Fate series' Saber works when she appears in Honkai: Star Rail. It also started off by teasing she's one of seven Servants to respond to the call for the first Penaconian Holy Grail War that brings elements of Fate/stay Nigh [Unlimited Blade Works] into the game. This follows a more jovial video promoting the crossover.  Another Servant known as Mr. Reca appeared to discuss her moveset and narrate segments showing her fighting.

The showcase first established Saber is a five-star Destruction character who deals Wind damage. It also highlighted that, in most situations, her sword looks invisible due to Magecraft and her Wind powers. Her Basic Attack is called Invisible Air: Barrier of the Wind King and hits one enemy. However, her Strike Air: Hammer of the Wind King Skill hits one target and the two adjacent to it. She also deals more damage after allies use Ultimates due to her Dragon Reactor Core Talent. This grants her a buff and gives her Core Resonance that she can turn into Energy via using her Skill so she can perform her own Ultimate sooner. Said Ultimate is named after her sword, and Excalibur deals Wind damage to every enemy and then bounce damage to another enemy.

So in a way, her attack pattern is similar to Blade's. She hits one with her standard attack. The Skill hits up to three. Then the Ultimate attacks everyone.

Here's the full Saber "Keeping Up with Star Rail" episode showing the Fate heroine in action in the game.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPxdsZ36LXc

We should see one for Archer ahead of his debut too.

Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the Fate collab starts on July 11, 2025, then ends just before the launch of 3.7. The Fate/stay Night [Unlimited Blade Works] anime is streaming on Crunchyroll.

Atlus revealed that Cerevo has renewed the official webpage for its Persona 3 Reload SEES Evoker replica gun. The two companies also announced that they will hold a physical promotion event for the product in Japan on July 12-13, 2025.

The event will take place on the 6th floor of Volks Akihabara Hobby Paradise 2. It will allow people to get a hands-on trial of the gun replica toy before making a purchase.

As a refresher, this replica has been available for purchase in Japan since March 2025. It costs ¥110,000, which is around $750 based on the exchange rate in early July 2025. The toy gun will play various sound effects and voices from the game when its trigger is pulled.

CFB 26 Player Progression

Running a college football team's program includes several important facets, but none are more crucial than the development of your players throughout their school careers.

In EA Sports College Football 26, player progression has been "rebalanced and expanded how progression works to create more player differentiation, realism, and separation between programs." This means there are several tweaks and improvements to keep in mind when playing Dynasty Mode.

Here's College Football 26's Player Progression changes, explained.

College Football 26 Player Progression

Jeremiah Smith EA Sports CFB 26 player screen
Image via EA

Changes to Physical Abilities

Some players' Physical Abilities will now have different requirements to unlock different tiers. For example, Platinum Shifty will now require both 97 Change of Direction and 96 Acceleration for a wide receiver, meaning these new thresholds make top-tier Physical Abilities rarer and more important than before.

There are also several new player types and physical ability combinations, making for a wide variety of player archetypes.

Player performance matters

EA says that individual player performance in a given season "plays a huge role in their long-term potential" in CFB 26, meaning that a great season will allow a player to upgrade their Development Trait during the offseason.

Manual Progression

Ryan Williams CFB 26 player screen
Image via EA

You can manually upgrade players by targeting specific development needs as part of the Manual Progression setting in your league settings. This allows you to purchase individual stat upgrades for your players as opposed to simply relying on the sim aspect of the game.

"Upgrading a Development Trait is not guaranteed, and the better a player's current trait is, the harder it becomes to move up," EA said. "For example, moving from Normal to Impact is more likely than jumping from Star to Elite. "

More skill group levels

There are now 20 skill group levels instead of 10, like in CFB 25, "allowing for more gradual and natural progression" and to prevent long stretches without any progression.

Offseason development

Players with the Impact, Star, or Elite development traits will now have a higher minimum amount that they can progress during the offseason. EA Sports says that this change "increases the likelihood that players with a better development trait will progress more than players with a normal trait."

Training Results screen improvement

CFB 26 Training Results screen
Image via EA

The Training Results screen has been upgraded quite a bit, offering better visibility into each player's progression and growth as a ball star. The image above illustrates how you can now easily see the progression for your players between each offseason.

Physical changes: Weight gain

Like in real life, freshmen will undergo big physical changes after their first season as they grow from teenagers to men and bulk up and get stronger as they play college ball. Players in CFB 26 will now gain weight to reflect this.

Athletic facilities

The quality of your athletic facilities plays a big part in player progression, because the higher your facilities grade is, the bigger your player progression boost will be. The bigger and better your gym is, the better your players can become.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic in FIFA 21

Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic is all set to don the covers of EA FC 26 Ultimate Edition if the latest leaks are to be believed.

EA Sports is likely going to make the official reveal later this month (based on history), but leaks and rumors have always been an active part of this community. If the new leak turns out to be true, it will be something quite different from EA Sports, especially compared to last year. However, Ibra as a cover athlete is undoubtedly going to be a special one for those who still go for hard copies of their favorite football games.

EA FC 26 Ultimate Edition could feature Zlatan on the cover

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of the most popular figures in the world of football. At his prime, the Swedish attacker tormented defenses all across Europe, and he has won plenty of trophies for his clubs. EA FC 26 will be the first time since last year that we will be able to have Ibra as a playable card, thanks to his rumored inclusion as a new Icon.

Tonight's news practically confirms that the Swedish attacker is confirmed to be in the new game. While there's a slight chance for him to be a Hero card, I feel that he will become an Icon (at least that's what all rumors and leaks so far have suggested).

https://twitter.com/Fut_scoreboard/status/1942609527800549610

If the latest leak turns out to be true, it will be the first time that the Swede will don the cover of an FC title. While his exploits were well-known during his playing days, Ibra was never the cover athlete for what used to be the FIFA series. Yes, we even had Jack Wilshere of all as a cover icon, but not the man who scored wherever he played.

It's better late than never, and EA Sports seems to be on the path to pay tribute to Ibrahimovic's goal-scoring accolades over an illustrious career. Last year, we had a special Ultimate Edition cover featuring Jude Bellingham, Zinedine Zidane, David Beckham, and Aitana Bonmati. This year, EA Sports is definitely going down a more traditional route.

Whether Zlatan gets his due share of recognition or not should be confirmed soon once the first official cover reveal takes place.

Two skaters by a boarding gate to Tokyo in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 Airport level.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 brings you and your crew to a slew of different locations, so there's bound to be a little travel involved. In the Airport level, you're tasked with bringing tickets to your skate buddy so they don't miss the plane. Causing mayhem is optional, but recommended.

Much like helping the Thin Man in Suburbia, this is a short two-part objective: pick up the tickets and bring them to your skate buddy. There's a small catch here, though: you cannot fall down or go through the metal detectors, or else you'll have to start the process again. Here's how you can grab the tickets and bring them to your friend.

How to get the Tickets in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4's Airport level

The Doom Slayer grinds on a ticket counter, grabbing the tickets off a woman with a white shirt and red pants.
It'd be much easier if you could just text them their boarding passes. Screenshot by Destructoid

The tickets are at an airline counter just to the left of the map's starting point. Look behind the counter for the woman with her hand raised and grind in front of her to grab the tickets. Once you do, you cannot fail to land a combo, so play it safe if you're not that confident in your skills.

Jump past the first set of escalators and keep going until you see the metal detectors. Use the conveyor belts as a kicker to boost yourself above the sensors without triggering them. Activating the beep or bailing here means you must go back to the start. After that, go down another set of escalators and you'll be in the area with the boarding gates, where your skate buddy is located.

Where to find your skate buddy in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4's Airport level

Use the flags as a guide if you're lost. Screenshot by Destructoid

Once you've made it to the main terminal, make a left and look for your skate buddy at gate C2, where the next flight to Tokyo is boarding. Two of your friends are by the second gate on the left, just across from the flags of Great Britain and Germany. One guy is wearing a red hoodie and has a skateboard at his feet, accompanied by a woman in a pink jacket and ripped jeans. Bring them the tickets and wrap up this objective. As you're roaming around the airport, the PA system will shoot out some cheeky voice lines—including a reference to comedy classic Airplane!

If you still need to cross a few more objectives off your list, go through the X-ray machine on the counter on the right of the spawn area, across from where you got your tickets. This leads you to another part of the map, where you can Airwalk over an escalator and grab a couple of secrets.

Warzone Clash mode

A new Warzone update has just gone live, shaking up the meta by nerfing the game's latest most popular OP gun.

In today's update, the powerful DM-10 marksman rifle got a significant nerf along with the Krig C, while several other ARs got buffed, along with scopes on Black Ops 6 weapons to compensate and shake up the long-range meta game in battle royale.

"Since season three, we have refined the Marksman Rifle class to give each weapon a distinct role," Raven Software said. "The DM-10 has excelled, but its strength in certain scenarios has outpaced the rest. In this update we are reducing its velocity while slowing its ADS time and adding harsher penalties when not hitting the upper torso or head. The DM-10 will remain strong in skilled hands but requires more precise shots to achieve its strength now. We will monitor how it goes and adjust accordingly."

For BO6 weapons, the 2x, 3x, and 4x scopes all have had their visual recoil reduced "to improve the overall usability of optics, especially at long range encounters," Raven said, "to make it easier to track and stay on target when engaging at longer ranges."

Scroll down for the full list of patch notes for the July 8 Warzone update.

We're about to have a colossal comic book battle at the box office, folks. This kind of thing just doesn't happen anymore, especially when it comes to DC vs. Marvel.

Up first on July 11, we have Superman, starring David Corenswet as the titular hero, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicolas Hoult as the villainous and bald Lex Luthor. And then two weeks later, The Fantastic Four: First Steps takes the stage with Pedro Pascal as Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, and Joseph Quinn as Human Torch.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ox8ZLF6cGM0&pp=ygUQc3VwZXJtYW4gdHJhaWxlcg%3D%3D

While both are comic book films featuring decades-old and beloved characters with multiple movie iterations between them, the two could not be more different. Superman is James Gunn's foray into building the new DC Universe of films, while Fantastic Four: First Steps is Marvel Studios' attempt to integrate the First Family into the MCU.

The stakes are high for both, though. Both films have the responsibility of "righting the ship" for both companies, as DC fumbled its previous extended universe, and the MCU has had some very negative attention surrounding it over the past few years since Avengers: Endgame.

Superman is looking to set the stage for what's to come for DC, including additional characters like Krypto the dog, Mister Terrific, Hawkgirl, and Guy Gardner. Fantastic Four will finally feature a proper portrayal of Galactus, along with the robot pal H.E.R.B.I.E. and others, as the team will somehow join the greater MCU ahead of ensemble movies like Avengers: Doomsday.

For what it's worth, both movies look very promising, both from an aesthetic and cast perspective. Both films have strong actors in the cast list, and both look a bit like their comic book counterparts come to life, and that's exciting enough for fans.

Personally, I think Superman will bring home the bacon for DC. It feels like there's a lot of hype around this hero, who's arguably the most recognizable in the world, getting a fresh start. But don't count out the First Family. That movie will make a ton of cash, too. Let's just hope they're both awesome.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18QQWa5MEcs

And so now, I ask you, dear reader, which film are you more excited for? Which one do you think will take home the bigger box office numbers? Let us know in the poll and in the comments below, and make sure to bring your popcorn.

A Sim with long orange hair catching a Frog in a pond in The Sims 4

Exploring the great outdoors is the main focus of the Nature's Calling event in The Sims 4, but it also includes many tricky tasks you might struggle to get done. Week three of this event has many tough quests to complete and plenty of rewards to earn.

All of the prizes featured in this event are exclusive, so if you don't earn them while it's live, there's no way to add them to your collection again. Working through all of the required tasks is essential if you want to earn them all. Here's how to complete all week three Nature's Calling event quests and all rewards you can earn for doing so in The Sims 4.

How to complete all week three Nature's Calling quests in The Sims 4

A Sim dressed as a fairy in a green dress with green wings and long orange hair jumping up in excitement while standing by a tree in The Sims 4
Screenshot by Destructoid

To finish all week three Nature's Calling event tasks, you need to fully complete both the Secret Sands and Symphony of Serenity quest series. There are quite a few missions to get done in each one, but before you can begin these tasks, you also need to have already finished all week one quests and all week two quests.

Secret Sands quests in The Sims 4

A Sim drawing a heart in the sand in the sims 4

There are five quests you need to tackle for the Secret Sands missions. Some of them specifically ask you to visit Desert Bloom Park, and the rest can all be completed on this lot, so it's best to head there right away.

Quest How to complete
Have a Sim spend time outdoors. Have your Sim spend a total of three hours outdoors. You can check their "Spend time outdoors" Moodlet to see how much longer they have left before this task is complete.
Visit Desert Bloom Park. Open the map, select the Oasis Springs world, and click the Desert Bloom Park lot in the middle of this region to send your Sim there.
Catch two Frogs. Find any pond or log around the world, click on it, and select the "Look for Frogs" option. Find two Frogs to finish this task. There are lots of ponds and logs around Desert Bloom Park, so this lot is a great place to hunt for them.
Draw in the sand. Click on the ground anywhere around Desert Bloom Park, select the "Draw" option, and choose to draw a smiley, heart, or star.
Investigate the cave. At Desert Bloom Park, locate the secret cave near the very north end of the lot, otherwise known as The Forgotten Grotto. Click on the entrance to the cave and select the "Investigate the cave" option.

Symphony of Serenity quests in The Sims 4

The Symphony of Serenity mission series is a bit shorter than usual and only has four quests for you to finish. Some of these tasks require you to be at home, and all of the rest are easiest to complete on your home lot, so start by heading back there.

Quest How to complete
Build the Reclaimed Wood Dining Table. Raise your Handiness skill to level five, click on a Woodworking Table, and craft the Reclaimed Wood Dining Table.
Buy a Grill. Open Build/Buy Mode on your home lot and purchase any Grill. You'll need it for another quest in this series, so place it down on your home lot after buying it.
Sleep with the Nature Soundscapes radio station in the same room. Spend some of your event points to unlock the Nature Soundscapes radio station, make sure you have a radio, turn on this channel, and have your Sim sleep in the same room where it's playing.
Cook on the Grill. Click on the Grill you bought or any other Grill out in the world and cook any of the available food options on it.

There are four rewards you can unlock after completing all week three event quests, plus a few other items that aren't exclusive to the event. All of the prizes earned for completing week three tasks are as follows.

  • Nature Soundscapes radio station
  • Reclaimed Wood Dining Table woodworking recipe
  • Rings of Growth tattoo
  • Touch Grass Weekly, Issue #3 (Collectible)
  • Handiness Vol. 3: Upgrading the Soul (Book)
  • Moodlet Solver (Potion)
  • 5,000 Simoleons

A skater bursts through a glass wall in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 and grabs the Secret Tape in Suburbia.

New locations aren't the only things to unlock in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4, as the game offers seven secret skaters (in the current build) to obtain.

The official list of skaters in the game is pretty extensive, and obtaining the Deluxe Edition offers you even more choices. However, you can expand the roster of choices further once you discover all the secret skaters. Some of them are relatively easy to obtain, while others will take more time. This guide will provide you with all the necessary info about the secret skaters.

How to unlock all secret skaters in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4?

The process of unlocking the secret skaters is spread across the full game. In short, you'll have to complete both career modes if maxing out the available roster is your target goal. You'll find all the required information in the table below.

Skater How to Unlock
Andy Anderson Available automatically inside the game. Go to the Secret Store, and purchase him for $5,000. You can earn in-game money from picking them up across different maps and completing various runs. The higher your score, the better you earn.
Bam Margera Similar to Andy Anderson, you can purchase him from the Secret Store for $5,000. Available as soon as you start playing the game.
Birdman By my calculation, this character is going to take the longest out of all to unlock. For starters, you'll have to complete all the goals associated with the base game. Then, you'll have to go to the Secret Shop and purchase Feathers. You can only do so after unlocking all the Pro Goals. This character will be a true test if you're looking to max out every location when it comes to trophies and achievements.
Doom Slayer Only available with the Digital Deluxe edition. You won't have to do anything extra to unlock.
Revenant Only available with the Digital Deluxe edition. You won't have to do anything extra to unlock.
Michaelangelo Available automatically inside the Secret Shop. However, he costs more than Andy Anderson and Bam Margera at $10,000.
Officer Dick Every map inside the game has a Panda Plushie. You'll have to collect them all to automatically add Officer Dick to your list of available characters.

It's pretty clear that Birdman and Officer Dick are two secret characters who will require a lot of effort to unlock. Officer Dick is relatively more straightforward to unlock as long as you can scout the maps properly. Some of the plushies are apparently hidden in the backdrop, making it harder for you to find the items.

There's another similarity between the two: you'll need to participate in both career modes to obtain these two characters. Doom Slayer and Revenant are easy to unlock, as all you need is the Digital Deluxe Edition. Andy Anderson, Bam Margera, and Michaelangelo are also pretty simple to get, but obtaining $20,000 (combined) isn't going to be the easiest of tasks.

Blade and Captain America in Marvel's Midnight Suns

Marvel fans, clock in, because one of the comic book universe's most underrated and fun games is now totally free as part of Prime Day.

I am typing these words with a heavy heart, because Marvel's Midnight Suns deserved a better fate, as did many of its developers. Due to the poor commercial performance of the game, its developer, Firaxis Games, was hit by layoffs a few months later, but don't let that sway you from trying it out.

Marvel's Midnight Suns - Iron Man, Dr. Strange, Scarlet Witch
Image via 2K

I will die on the hill that this is a fantastic game. I am biased as a Marvel fan and lover of the genre, but Marvel's Midnight Suns absolutely deserves more love and attention, so I hope players will use this freebie to try it out.

Marvel's Midnight Suns casts you as an original, customizable character named The Hunter. It's a turn-based game with card-based battles and deckbuilding elements, and it stars a wide array of Marvel heroes and villains to recruit, level up, and play with in a story centered around the demon Lilith and other dark forces like Dracula, Mephisto, and Agatha Harkness. I found the story to be quite enjoyable.

It features base-building aspects, open world discovery around the base, and relationship mechanics and upgrades as you form bonds with your teammates as the Hunter, who was woken from a centuries-long slumber to help out the team.

Playable characters include Midnight Suns members such as Blade, Nico Minoru, Doctor Strange, and Ghost Rider, but they also recruit other heroes like Avengers in Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Captain Marvel, and even X-Men like Wolverine and Magik.

There were really solid DLC add-ons with missions and new heroes like Deadpool, Storm, Venom, and Morbius, and it's just a really solid game all-around. I put over 60 hours into my playthrough and found it highly addictive.

Marvel's Midnight Suns gameplay screenshot
Image via 2K

I understand that the gameplay style may not be for everyone. It's all centered around playable cards that you draw from decks for each playable hero (three in each mission at a time), so it's not a very active gameplay system. But if you enjoy games like XCOM, Phoenix Point, Gears Tactics, and even Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, you may find a new favorite title here.

Marvel's Midnight Suns is available through Prime Gaming for free (for Prime members) on the Epic Games Store today, but it won't be for long. Make sure to grab it before it disappears.

A thin man dressed in a suit stands in front of a derelict house in Suburbia in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4.

There's something afoot in Suburbia in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4. Helping the Thin Man gives you an idea of the sinister forces at play—but it also opens up the way to the Secret Tape and a couple of really cool ramps, so naturally, that's where we're headed.

The Thin Man stands by an abandoned house in Suburbia, with the full house in view.
Time for some remodeling. Screenshot by Destructoid

Helping the Thin Man is a two-part objective in the Suburbia map. He's located in the totally-not-haunted house behind the spawn in Suburbia, which you can find by grinding or jumping on a railing near the decorated ramps, or just by turning around when dropping.

Standing near this mysterious stranger ends up with him asking for an axe (subtle!), and he sucker punches you if you get too close. But if you're looking for some goals to complete before unlocking the next arena, here's how you can help him in THPS 3+4—even if he is kind of a jerk.

Helping the Thin Man in Suburbia in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4

A skater grinds a rail near a construction site, with an axe visible at the end of the grind.
You have my skate. And his axe. Screenshot by Destructoid

To help the Thin Man, you first need an axe. Find it by the construction site to the front-right of the spawn, where the letter E in S-K-A-T-E is. Grind a short rail close to the ground, pick up the axe, and return to the Thin Man.

Once you've handed him the axe, the Thin Man will do his best Jack Torrance impression and tear down the wall leading inside the house. From there, you can trick into a new area. The fact that the first gap you encounter is called I Got a Bad Feeling About This is probably nothing to be alarmed about.

A skater bursts through a glass wall in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 and grabs the Secret Tape in Suburbia.
Screenshot by Destructoid

The new area is a good spot for doing tricks, but more importantly, it leads straight into the Secret Tape for Suburbia. Break the window onto the top floor of the house, then go straight ahead and grind the American flag to get the Secret Tape and knock out some progress toward your next goal. Is it still an abandoned house if there's someone locked in as a prisoner?

goalbound style and ego tier list

Updated on July 8, 2025: Adjusted the rankings for launch rebalancing (Example: Chigiri nerfs). Rin, Sae and Evolved Styles coming soon.

The best Styles in Goalbound are all about having a great mix of shooting power, dribble/mobility, and some form of utility or tech for high-skill plays. As for Egos, they provide unique passive abilities and random stat boost values so we'll be ranking those too. Luckily not all of the strongest Styles or Egos are Mythic or Legendary as there are excellent options in the Rare and Epic rarities as well. Let's analyze all of them separately and find the best ones in this complete Goalbound Styles and Ego tier list.

Goalbound Styles Tier List

goalbound style tier list

There's no bad styles in Goalbound and you can pretty much play whatever is fun to you. That said there are Styles that are drastically more powerful at dribbling and shooting than others so I'm looking for the best ones. This tier list is based on how powerful, flexibile and defensible the shooting and dribbling moves are as well as if there's any special tech or utility the Style can use to pull off high-end plays. Let's dive into each style separately below and go through their pros and cons as well as some tips.

Ranking Elaboration: Below you'll find detailed explanations for each style but in general note that S and A Tiers are the best styles in the game. B is where you'll find strong styles that are slightly inflexible to be higher and C is for underpowered styles. No D-Tier since all current styles are good.

S-Tier Styles

Style Pros & Cons

Shidou (Mythic)
0.65% Roll Chance
6.5% Lucky Roll Chance
• Exceptionally fast mobility combo by mixing Dragon Drive after super sprint that's on par with Chigiri
• Reflex Shot has air invincibility so your ball can't get stolen and unlike most shots you can control it both left/right but also up/down for unpredictable plays
• Dragon Header has long range and great power but it's best used to defend since it catches nearby balls like Nagi's Trap when activated
• Shidou is easily the best Style in Goalbound currently

• No Dribble/Steal-defense moves

Bachira (Epic)
16% Roll Chance
32% Lucky Roll Chance
• Lots of combos, mix-ups, and dribble moves with Monster Flick and Free Touch
• You can volley shot right after Monster Flick for a powerful combo play shot
• Bee Shot comboes with Rainblow Flick into Header into Bee Shot that's a great power unpredictable shot and it's even good for close range

• Note that Goalbound's Bachira requires a lot of practice for high-skill high-reward plays that make the most of his kit

Barou (Legendary)
2.5% Roll Chance
15% Lucky Roll Chance
• Barou is all about simple-to-play raw mobility and shooting power of which he has a lot with his base kit and Awakening
• Some of the best mobility and dribble in Goalbound with Lightning Dribble and Chop Feint
• Moves combo into volley shot for high power plays and Lion Shot
• I'm pretty sure Lion Shot is the strongest shot in the game right now so you need to get used to its power and aim well

• Not a lot of utility or high-skill play potential, just raw and simple power

A-Tier Styles

Style Pros & Cons

Nagi (Legendary)
2.5% Roll Chance
15% Lucky Roll Chance
• The core of Nagi's kit is the incredibly powerful Trap move to stop any shot in the game
• Tons of combo potential with Make-Shift Dribble into various volley shot or Trap
• Best goalkeeper/defense due to Trap and overall very flexible

• Volley Shot is decent but a comparatively mediocre shot against Barou or Shidou keeping Nagi from S-Tier even with the Awakening shot

Kunigami (Rare)
25% Roll Chance
46.5% Lucky Roll Chance
• Overall best Rare in Goalbound due to powerful shots and counters
• Iron Head is the best close-range shot in the game
• Power Shot is extremely flexible and has great power at medium and long range that also combos well with a jump for more unpredictability
(Just aim upwards a bit due to the power)
• Also has good steal defense with Hero's Fortitude counter and his Awakening is top-tier
• The only thing keeping him from S-Tier is his drastic lack of mobility but if you can master Dribble, Tackle, and Dash timing you're S

B-Tier Styles

Style Pros & Cons

Chigiri (Rare)
25% Roll Chance
46.5% Lucky Roll Chance
• Used to be S-Tier before he got nerfed during testing but his off-ball mobility is still the best in the game
• Panther Fangs is an amazing double dash dribble move
• Hyperspeed Rush is one of the best off-ball moves to catch the ball
• Excellent at catching stray loose balls and passing to his team

• Chigiri has a unique injury bar where if you spam his moves he'll be stunned
• His Mach Cut-In shot is bad at close range and predictable at medium to long and this along with his Injury bar keeps him from A-Tier

Gagamaru (Rare)
25% Roll Chance
46.5% Lucky Roll Chance
• Gagamaru can easily switch from defense/support to offense and his Shachihoko and Awakening shot are great offensive option to pull off a goal when switching roles
• Good mix-up potential with Scorpion Kick
• Decent Goalkeeper/Support with Bear Deflect that can block shots and long pass to teammates

• While great near a goal, his lack of good mobility and steal/counter moves keep him in B-Tier

C-Tier Styles

Style Pros & Cons

Isagi (Uncommon)
55% Roll Chance
0% Lucky Roll Chance
• Off Ball Movement is a great mobility move like in BLR, Azure Latch, or Project Egoist that makes his mobility competitive
• A pretty decent beginner option that can situationally compete with higher Tier styles with Awakening
• Direct Shot has a slow start-up, is quite predictable and you can't adjust your aim that well
• Overall Isagi isn't bad and can be pretty decent like in other Roblox BL games
but he struggles to compete with the higher tiers in terms of shooting power

Goalbound Ego Tier List

goalbound ego tier list

The Flow system in Goalbound works via Egos that provide stat bonuses and powerful abilities. Note that in general, if the unique ability is good enough it's more important than the stat bonus (Unless the stat bonus is extreme and the ability sucks like with King). That's why Egos like Speedster and Prodigy are a bit underpowered. Overall, the best ones currently are Dribbler and Genius for offense and Iron Wall for defense. Let's dive into them individually with some tips below.

S-Tier Ego

Ego Effect Ranking Reason

Dribbler
Legendary
• 110% Kick Power
• 107% Walk Speed
• 60% Stamina Drain
Lower Dribble cooldown
• Amazing on any aggressive style like Barou or Shidou that rely on Dribble
• Excellent mix of better stamina and shooting power
• One of the best Egos in Goalbound

Genius
Mythic
• 125% Kick Power
• 106% Walk Speed
• 65% Stamina Drain
Succesful Feints reset cooldown
• High skill high reward Ego that requires you to be aggressive in your use of Feints
• Similar stamina boost to Dribbler but better Kick Power
• Potentially the best Ego in Goalbound

A-Tier Ego

Ego Effect Ranking Reason

Egoist
Uncommon
• 117% Walk Speed
• 50% Stamina Drain
Volley Shots are stronger
• Don't sleep on this Uncommon Ego since it's incredibly good
• One of the best stamina boosts in the entire game
• The Volley Shot boost isn't OP but it's incredibly useful for offense

Hero
Rare
• 120% Kick Power
• 105% Walk Speed
• 89% Stamina Drain
Shots are more powerful with more people around you
• Excellent offensive style if you play near the middle around a lot of defenders
• Great Kick Power

Iron Wall
Epic
• 120% Kick Power
• 105% Walk Speed
• 89% Stamina Drain
Increased Dive hitbox (Dribble when Goalkeep)
• A Goal Keeper oriented style
• That dive hitbox will save you a lot more goals both as a beginner and expert GK
• Wanted to put it in S-Tier but it's technically not a must-have for GKs so A-Tier is perfect

B-Tier Ego

Ego Effect Ranking Reason

Prodigy
Epic
• 115% Kick Power
• 110% Walk Speed
• 50% Stamina Drain
• Excellent stats with the best stamina boost in the game
• Lacks passive effect which keeps it in B-Tier
• If it gets a passive effect it'll jump to A or S

C-Tier Ego

Ego Effect Ranking Reason

King
Legendary
• 136% Kick Power
Gain the ability to tackle teammates
• Best Kick Power boost in the game
• Sucks because that's all there is to it since the ally tackle isn't useful when you start playing with experienced teammates or friends via voice chat

Speedster
Rare
• 120% Kick Power
• 103% Walk Speed
• 85% Stamina Drain
• While the stats are quite good there's no passive
• Similar to Prodigy but slightly worse

That's it for my Goalbound Style and Ego tier list and guide. Be sure to check out Goalbound Codes to claim free spins and other goodies.

Gambit dancing on a roof of a burd to go gas station in front of a giant yellow blow up bird statue in fortnite

Weekly quests often ask you to seek out specific locations around the vast island in Fortnite. These tasks usually involve spots you might not be super familiar with, like BURD To Go gas stations.

All main locations are marked by name on the map, but smaller ones like the BURD To Go gas stations aren't, so finding them can be pretty tricky. The names of these locations only pop up once you're actually there, which means you'd best need to know where to find them before you set out. Here are all the BURD To Go gas station locations in Fortnite.

BURD To Go gas station locations in Fortnite

All four burd to go gas stations marked on a map in fortnite
Screenshot by Destructoid

There are four BURD To Go gas stations you can visit around the island in Fortnite. All of the spots you can travel to when asked to venture to these locations are as follows.

  • The first BURD To Go location is directly south of the Resistance Base, west of Lonewolf Lair, and north of Shiny Shafts. This one is fairly close to the northwest end of the island.
  • The second BURD To Go location is north of Pumped Power, west of First Order Base, and east of Supernova Academy. You can find this one just off the side of the main road running through this area.
  • The third BURD To Go location is north of Foxy Floodgate and south of Brutal Boxcars. This one is right around the very middle of the island.
  • The fourth BURD To Go location is north of Shining Span. The gas station is right near the northern end of the massive bridge.

How to consume different food or drink items at BURD To Go gas stations in Fortnite

To complete the weekly quest that asks you to consume different food or drink items at BURD To Go gas stations, you need to consume three unique food or drink items at any BURD To Go gas station. The tough part of this task is finding three different items you can consume.

When I tackled this quest, checking off the first two was easy. I drank a Small Shield Potion followed by a regular Shield Potion. After this, though, I couldn't find any other items to consume around the area. I even ventured out to nearby spots in search of other items that may work, but ended up perishing before I could find anything.

I went to a different BURD To Go gas station in the following round to get this task done. Luckily, you don't have to get it done in one go, so if you struggle to find three unique items, you can always head back in another round to continue making progress.

The food and drink items you can consume for this quest are:

  • Shield Potions
  • Small Shield Potions
  • Chug Jug
  • Fish (Shieldfish, Flopper, Small Fry, etc.)
  • Fruits (Apples, Bananas, Coconut, etc.)
  • Vegetables (Mushrooms, Cabbage, Corn, etc.)

To find these items around BURD To Go gas stations, focus on opening all chests and ammo boxes you come across. I haven't seen any produce boxes at these locations, but those are perfect for this task if you manage to find one. It's also a good idea to check all vending machines and chat with any NPCs you find at these locations, since there may be some useful food and drink items you can buy.

There are plenty of other tasks you can tackle to earn additional XP once you've completed this one. Some good tasks to work on are gathering the clues left by the instructorshitting hero practice targets at different hero training outposts, and assembling surveillance gear at Demon's Domain.

Slenderman standing in the woods at sunset in Phasmophobia

Phasmophobia has quite a few fun Easter eggs and references to iconic horror figures and movies scattered around the many maps you can explore. One of the bigger ones is Slenderman, and he's a tricky guy to track down.

If you haven't seen this Easter egg yet, it's a fun one to venture out to find. He's not super easy to spot, but it's much easier to find him once you know where to look. If you want to catch a glimpse of him, here's how to find Slenderman in Phasmophobia.

Where to find Slenderman in Phasmophobia

Slenderman can sometimes be found out in the woods around certain maps in Phasmophobia. He's not always present but does make an appearance occasionally. If you want to spot him, you need to venture to one of two unique locations.

All Slenderman locations in Phasmophobia

Slenderman only shows up at two specific maps in Phasmophobia, which include the two camp-themed maps. You only have a shot at finding him when you're outside exploring Maple Lodge Campsite and Camp Woodwind.

Around each of these maps, there are several different spots where you may find him.

  • Maple Lodge Campsite

    • On the outskirts of the map, around the truck, before you enter the map.
    • Behind the fence with the Blair Witch twig doll near the west end of the map.
    • Behind the purple tent near the northwest end of the map.
    • By the picnic tables near the northeast end of the map.
    • In the woods close to the cabin, near the northeast end of the map.

  • Camp Woodwind

    • On the outskirts of the map, on the left side of the truck.
    • Near the very northern end of the map, standing out in the rocky area with fireflies in front of the wooden bench.
    • In the small crack between the bathroom and the white tent near the east end of the map.

Around all of these locations, Slenderman appears fairly far off in the distance in the forest. He'll never be close to you, so be sure to scan the entire forest area carefully to avoid missing him. Depending on the weather, he can blend in with the environment quite well.

How to spawn Slenderman in Phasmophobia

There is no way to force Slenderman to spawn. Whether or not he appears in each contract is entirely random. He has a random chance to spawn in all contracts you tackle on Maple Lodge Campsite and Camp Woodwind, regardless of whether you're playing the weekly challenge mode or something else, so the only way you can increase your chances of running into him is by repeatedly visiting these locations.

What does Slenderman do in Phasmophobia?

Slenderman doesn't do anything in Phasmophobia. He just stands there and stares at you for the entire round. He's a static Easter egg who is just there as a fun reference and nothing more, so you don't need to worry about him scaring or attacking you.

Once you've found Slenderman, you can get back to tackling the investigation. To do so, you may need to know how to record audio and video evidence, how the Sound Recorder works, and how to use the Music Box.

A section of the Canada track in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, with a tree with a hole in it standing in the foreground.

If you're a veteran of the powerhouse franchise, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 offers plenty of nostalgia, down to the gap-based objectives like performing a Nosegrind around the Horn in the game's second map, Canada.

While it can seem deceptively tricky, learning how to Nosegrind around the Horn is fairly simple. The first step is finding the spot in question, and the second is hitting your trick right so the game counts it as a Nosegrind. Here's how you can complete that objective.

How to find the Horn in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4

The Horn is the tall tree with a hole in the middle on the frozen side of the map. It's by the circular halfpipe encircling another, but the quickest way to get there is to turn around from where you spawn.

The first ramp in Canada in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, as seen by a skater who turned around.
Do a 180 turn and look for the ledges. Screenshot by Destructoid

Drop from the first ramp, then get some distance and turn around. Speed toward the ramp and jump to a wooden ledge just across from you, then hit the brakes as soon as you touch the ground. Ollie, No Comply, and Boneless (used by pressing forward once/twice before jumping) can give you a little bit of height if you're falling short.

After jumping on the first ledge, hop to another wooden path in front of you and either grind the rail or hold the down button to break your fall. Go through the hole in the tree, then turn around and find the small rail to the left side. You must grind this rail for a few seconds and land a Nosegrind with the Around The Horn gap to complete this objective. Hit the gap, land the combo, and cross this one off your list.

To make sure you're hitting the Nosegrind, jump onto the rail using the front of your board. Usually, a simple forward + grind command works, but if you're still landing a different trick, try to hit your grind head-on.

You need to hold the Nosegrind for around three to five seconds, which isn't a lot of time. The Around The Horn gap will pop before you hit the ledge with the traffic cones, so it's easy to bag two objectives for the price of one and keep on unlocking the new tracks. Rio is waiting, after all.

Games in College Football 26 where a RB is trying to receive the ball while getting tackled

College Football 26 has a range of different passing types that you can use to outwit your opposition and match to your play style.

There have been plenty of revamps to the gameplay since last year. The passing types might stay the same, but you'll need to understand all the variations first. This will allow you to select the perfect style for you. Whether you're a beginner or a veteran from College Football 25, this guide will provide you with all the required information.

How many Passing types are available in College Football 26?

College Football 26 offers four Passing types for all.

  • Placement
  • Placement and Accuracy
  • Classic
  • Revamped

Before we dive deeper into what each style means, it's essential to understand that there's no "perfect" type. It all depends on your personal preferences and playstyle.

Screenshot by Destructoid

Placement Passing

In this style, you'll be able to control the ball movements minutely as it reaches your receivers. You'll get a small meter while making the throw to determine the power, followed by where you intend the ball to land. The rating of your player will determine how accurately they can throw the ball.

Placement and Accuracy

Placement and Accuracy is similar to the first type, but you'll have to master the additional aspect of timing your throw. A meter will appear as you attempt to throw: pull off in the green zone, and you'll make the best possible pass. Miss it, and your pass will have a high chance of being intercepted. This passing type is ideal for College Football 26 players who have plenty of hours in last year's iteration.

Classic Passing

This is the perfect choice for beginners, as it simplifies all forms of passes. Just select a receiver and press the pass button, and the game will automatically decide the rest. You don't have to choose the type of pass, time your throw, or control the power.

Revamped Passing

This is the staple form of passing in College Football 26 and offers the best balance. It's not as hard to control as Placement passing, but you can still micromanage your throws. You can also determine which passing style is the most suitable in a given scenario. You can also go for the Touch pass as an alternative for the Bullet and Lob Throws in some niche situations.

Ultimately, try out all the styles first once you start playing College Football 26. This will give you a fair idea about how to proceed, which passing type to use for your games in the future.
