PCGamesN Thursday, January 13, 2022 9:45 AM Hitman 3, IO Interactive's stealth game about a bald dude who just loves picking off hard-to-reach baddies, is coming to more platforms, and soon. The studio has just announced in its Year Two reveal livestream that the 2021 game is headed to Steam and Xbox's PC Game Pass. "We are happy to share with our PC players that Hitman 3 will arrive on Steam at the start of Year Two," community manager Clemens Koch reveals in the livestream (below). The Steam launch includes full support of the game's brand-new VR mode and a bunch of snazzy new technical improvements, such as ray tracing, XeSS, and variable rate shading (which were all also shown off during the stream). That's not long to wait, given Hitman 3 Year Two kicks off one week from now, on January 20. So far, the game has been a timed Epic Games Store exclusive (with a handy no-extra-cost Steam purchase import option for Hitman 1 and 2), but now it'll also be available to buy and play on Valve's store very soon, too. There are plans to add support for Steam achievements and trading cards in the future, and for the first 30 days after launch the game will include its Trinity Pack pre-order bonus for free. PCGamesN Thursday, January 13, 2022 9:15 AM A new update has come to New World which addresses a few key bugs and other hiccups that have been popping up in the fantasy MMORPG of late. While the patch - titled Update 1.2.2, if you're fancy - takes aim at a variety of different issues, some key changes fans might be excited to hear about include a fix for bugs that were hampering players' movement in PvP and stopping them from shaking off a pesky debuff. New World's latest patch notes include a fix that tackles "an issue causing permanent disease and slow being applied in PvP". The slowing bug - or something very similar, at least - in particular seems to have been popping up in bug reports for a while, with the issue reportedly preventing players from moving properly following PvP encounters, with permanent slow and root-like effects kicking in. The latter, meanwhile, appears to have potentially popped up following the game's 1.2.1. patch, with a note that "the 'disease' debuff may stack infinitely" appearing in Amazon Games' roundup of some known issues last month. Good news is these should now both be banished from Aeternum and explorers are free to roam at normal speeds (and free from lengthy disease) once again. Huzzah. PCGamesN Thursday, January 13, 2022 8:15 AM Want to know how to knock down timber pines in Fortnite? With the latest batch of season challenges in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1, we have a few tasks that are a little more difficult than they first appear. However, completing them is worth doing as you'll gain lots of experience towards the battle pass and unlock this season's Fortnite skins and some free Fortnite V-bucks. One challenge this week asks you to teleport using rift generators at different Seven Outposts. They're different from regular pine trees in how they look, where you can find them, and what happens when you destroy them with your harvesting tool. However, once you locate these tall trees, you only need to knock down five timber pines to complete the challenge. If you've not finished the previous challenges, we have some guides for the more challenging tasks, such as where you can discover the Fortnite device and how to destroy the Fortnite signal jammers. But before we get too ahead of ourselves, here is where you can find the timber pines in Fortnite. RELATED LINKS: Fortnite V-Bucks, Fortnite Skins, Fortnite Creative Codes |
PCGamesN Thursday, January 13, 2022 7:52 AM While Final Fantasy XIV got a swift sweep of job tweaks in its most recent update, it looks like an even bigger rebalancing act is coming with update 6.08. Director Naoki Yoshida recently sat down with Radio Mog Station and briefly discussed plans for the future, such as upcoming patches and the team's thoughts on the current balance of various classes. As translated by the Final Fantasy XIV fan Discord server, the team reportedly knows that Reaper is still strong. However, it seems the plan is to achieve balance by strengthening other jobs rather than bringing the Reaper down another jot. Yoshida is quoted as saying that pure firepower classes like the Samurai - hey, that's me! - and Black Mage will get some TLC in the 6.08 update as the devs reckon they've been a tad stingy previously. The team is also reportedly looking into adjusting the Samurai, Black Mage, and Monk jobs further as they're pretty busy to play but don't put out the DPS they should. There might be some good news on the horizon for Dancer players, too, as Yoshida apparently reckons they should be doing more damage. Looking at the popular combat analysis website FF Logs, you can see why those jobs might be getting a slight buff when looking at the stats across all players. The Reaper currently comes out on top in extreme trials content for rDPS and aDPS - if you need a refresher, aDPS only includes your personal damage output while rDPS factors in the buffs you give to other teammates. Samurai and Black Mage come second and third for aDPS - that isn't bad, though you may see why the plan is to give the pair a slight boost. They're pure firepower classes as their damage is their primary offering to the team. RELATED LINKS: The best MMOs on PC, FFXIV Reaper job guide, FFXIV Sage job guide |
PCGamesN Thursday, January 13, 2022 7:50 AM Want to purchase a random item from a malfunctioning vending machine in Fortnite? In most popular battle royale games, you find loot by opening chests or scattered across the ground, but Fortnite also gives players the option to purchase items from NPCs and vending machines. One of this week's season challenges asks you to buy an item from a malfunctioning vending machine to earn some experience to earn Fortnite skins and free Fortnite V-Bucks in the battle pass. The tricky bit here is finding a malfunctioning vending machine in the first place; while vending machines all have fixed locations on the map, they aren't all broken. You can tell if a specific vending machine is working or not by looking at it (it'll look, er, broken) or by looking for the vending machine's minimap icon when you're close enough. An exclamation mark on the minimap leads to a red malfunctioning vending machine. In this guide, we'll show you every vending machine location on the Fortnite map. However, it's up to you to find one that is malfunctioning - and you can't force it to malfunction by beating it up, in case you were wondering. Before you even begin searching for these vending machines, make sure you have 100 gold in order to purchase a random item If you're a bit short on cash, you can check out our Fortnite gold bars guide for more information. PCGamesN Thursday, January 13, 2022 7:50 AM Want to know how to find a tornado to fly around in Fortnite? The most recent update to the popular battle royale game introduces thunderstorms and tornadoes. Inclement weather isn't the only new feature this season, as Chapter 3 Season 1 also enables players to earn Fortnite victory crowns by winning matches. The new weather effects have a devastating impact on the local area for a short time, either by shooting down bolts of lightning to burn everything nearby or by whipping up structures and vehicles into its strong winds. If you get close enough to a tornado, you'll also soar into the skies. To complete the season challenge and fly around a tornado in Fortnite, the trickiest part is to find a tornado in the first place. Unfortunately, they don't show up on the map, and even with the telltale signs of bad weather, there's no guarantee that what you're looking at is a tornado. Nevertheless, we've got some hints to help you find a tornado to fly around in Fortnite, so you can complete the season challenge and earn some more battle pass experience to unlock new Fortnite skins and free Fortnite V-bucks. PCGamesN Thursday, January 13, 2022 7:31 AM Want to know more about the upcoming Genshin Impact events? A new version of Genshin Impact arrives every six weeks, complete with new characters, quests, and events. It's difficult to keep track of which events are currently running and if there are any new ones coming soon, so here's a schedule for all current and upcoming Genshin Impact events. Genshin Impact has a number of events running simultaneously, and they aren't just in-game events. When a new Genshin Impact character joins the game, the devs launch a web event at the same time - players learn about the latest characters through an interactive story told through a web browser. The rewards for completing different events range from in-game items like primogems and mora, to real life prizes like mouse mats and plushies. Just like the Genshin Impact banners, most events are only available for a limited time, so it's worth participating as soon as you can. New events are usually added to Genshin Impact after an update, but it's worth keeping an eye out on this page as the devs do like to surprise the community. PCGamesN Thursday, January 13, 2022 8:15 AM Total War: Warhammer 3's release date will soon be upon us, so it'd be wise to ensure your gaming PC is capable of meeting the game's system requirements. Creative Assembly's confirmed it's going all-in on story with its final Total War title set in the Warhammer universe, and it's safe to say we can expect some graphical improvements and optimisations too. While Creative Assembly is keeping the Total War: Warhammer 3 system requirements under lock and key for now, the developer has a history of introducing new graphical updates between Total War releases. For example, the second game in the Warhammer trilogy introduced DirectX 12 support, as well as volumetric fog and god rays. New anti-aliasing methods have also appeared in other recent Total War titles, so there's every possibility we could see Nvidia DLSS or AMD FSR debut in the series. For now, it's probably best to prepare your rig for Creative Assembly's last Warhammer hurrah by equipping your system with the best gaming CPU and best SSD for gaming that you can afford. PCGamesN Thursday, January 13, 2022 7:15 AM Are you looking for the best C58 assault rifle loadout in Warzone Pacific? The C58 was introduced back in Warzone Season 4, but it failed to become a popular weapon because it felt underpowered next to the best assault rifles in Warzone. After a few balance changes, the C58 has become a solid option for players that feel comfortable shooting from a distance. Compared to the Call of Duty Vanguard assault rifles, the C58 excels in its long range capabilities. What makes this weapon so strong is the lack of any damage drop off when landing headshots from afar. We've picked a loadout to get the most out of this feature while reducing as much recoil as possible. The C58 is a difficult weapon to get to grips with, but don't let its high skill ceiling put you off. The last Warzone gun to have a high skill ceiling was the DMR 14, and we all know how that turned out. Here's everything you need to know about the best C58 loadout in Warzone Pacific. |
PCGamesN Thursday, January 13, 2022 6:50 AM Creative Assembly has shared a generous look at some new Total War: Warhammer III gameplay ahead of the strategy game's arrival next month. In a new clip (below), we get to see an eight-and-a-half-minute chunk of campaign action as Grand Cathay Legendary Lord Miao Ying leads her Northern Provinces faction to stave off the Chaos hordes threatening the Great Bastion and map beyond. Starting off with a successful flanking at Gunpowder Road to "sandwich" rebels between the faction's cavalry and other forces, the battle kicks off in earnest. The faction uses its Sky-Junk (essentially armed air balloons) and "superior ranged capabilities" to defeat the defecting rebels. The clip then shows us what could be some of the big focal points of battles around the Great Bastion: its three entrypoint gates, embedded in the walls. "When Chaos invasions come, it's these locations that take the brunt of the attacks," the narrator explains. Elsewhere, we see tactics such as the Storm Dragon's Edict Commandment deployed, which is used to suppress corruption, bolster defences, and dial down enemies' movement range. We also get to see the Northern Provinces make use of the Ivory Road - a mechanic which helps the faction bring in additional funds to support its growing army. It seems you can dispatch a caravan to trade with cultures based far away, but there's a catch. "Caravans come with plenty of risk," the narrator warns, though "the potential rewards are more than worth it". PCGamesN Thursday, January 13, 2022 6:46 AM Searching for the best Welgun loadout in Warzone Pacific? The Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Pacific mid-season update has arrived, introducing an Attack on Titan bundle, numerous balance changes, and a brand new SMG to the game. It's only been a day and already the Welgun looks like a deadly weapon, capable of downing enemies in seconds if you land a lucky headshot. We always recommend unlocking the latest weapons right away as they tend to join our best Warzone guns list. The Cooper Carbine is a great example of this - this weapon launched at the beginning of the season and has already established itself as one of the best Warzone assault rifles. The Welgun has finally given the MP40 some much needed competition. Our build focuses on increasing the time to kill speed without hurting the SMG's stability stats. The stock Welgun is surprisingly good already, so it doesn't surprise us to see the modified version perform exceptionally well. Here's what you need to build the best Welgun loadout in Warzone Pacific. |
PCGamesN Thursday, January 13, 2022 6:45 AM The best graphics cards are still in short supply, with options like Nvidia's new GeForce RTX 3080 12GB model also costing as much as an entire gaming PC. Thankfully, there are still plenty of gaming laptops out there that boast the green team's RTX 3000 graphics tech, and HP's Omen 15 has over $400 off right now. Amazon is listing the HP Omen with a 21% discount, down to $1,499.91 from $1,899.99. The portable powerhouse features an RTX 3070 laptop GPU at its core, a discrete card that's more than capable of running the latest games. The laptop also comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H CPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and a speedy 512GB NVMe SSD that will provide quick access to your Steam library on the go. While the HP Omen offers pleasing performance, it's housed within a sleek, black shell. The laptop's four-zone RGB keyboard is also a head-turner, and its panels 165Hz refresh rate could put many gaming monitors to shame at your next LAN event. PCGamesN Thursday, January 13, 2022 6:40 AM Nvidia news feels like a broken record at this stage, as stock scarcity is still an issue in 2022. As a result, fresh releases like the RTX 3080 12GB come with an upsetting price tag, and the RTX 2060 12GB refresh still hasn't shown up to the party. While the company's future graphics card release could suffer the same fate, new rumours suggest the green team has a large supply of desktop RTX 3050 cards ready and waiting. According to a rumour-fueled post on Board Channels (via Videocardz), Nvidia will "strengthen the distribution" of its upcoming RTX 3050 graphics cards on January 27. The author also says the first batch of entry-levels GPUs could exceed RTX 3060 and 3060Ti supplies, but doesn't specify whether the comparison is based on current inventory or launch day stock. Revealed during CES 2022, the RTX 3050 will be the first 50-series GPU to feature ray tracing support. Coming in at $249 USD, the graphics card also comes with a cut-down GA106 GPU and 8GB GDDR6 VRAM. Naturally, the rest of the RTX 3000 lineup runs rings around this entry-level release, but Nvidia claims it could be one of the best graphics cards for 1080p gaming. PCGamesN Thursday, January 13, 2022 6:19 AM It's Thursday in Los Santos, which means it's time for GTA Online's weekly update. It looks like we've got our usual raft of weekly discounts and goodies, though some neat additions that relate to the recent major update are the main standouts. Rockstar will have the full rundown on its website later today, but the update is already live, so fans have dug in - why wait, after all? This time around, one of the notable additions to the online game is the new Double Down adversary mode. One team of players with infinite lives and double-barrelled shotguns storm a location that Franklin and Lemar are tasked with holding down for four minutes. The duo only has one life to spare each, but they do have access to a much more extensive array of weaponry to make up for it. As it happens, the new mode is also offering triple rewards this week. You can now buy the Nagasaki Shinobi motorcycle if you fancy adding something else to your garage. The new set of wheels features in The Contract update and can now be picked up from Legendary Motorsport for $2,480,500 GTA bucks. RELATED LINKS: GTA 5 mods, GTA 6, Buy GTA V |
PCGamesN Thursday, January 13, 2022 6:00 AM So you want to know about Valheim updates? This indie viking game skyrocketed to success after its Steam Early Access release at the beginning of 2021, with over four million players now taking up axe and shield to earn their place in Valhalla. We've seen troll heads tumble, avoidable greyling deaths, and Vikings unite to take on tough Valheim bosses - and there's more on the way. Valheim has made big strides since we first dropped into Viking purgatory with nothing but our undies and a will to survive, setting the course for a long journey through choppy waters and hostile biomes. Part of its success as a survival game boils down to top notch base building, and a tough yet fair progression system that has bred some of the best gaming memes to date. The simple yet versatile building system has ignited players' creativity - not only have players built Sauron's eye, but also created a replica of the Millennium Falcon using what we can only imagine is a lot of wood. The developers have been releasing a slow, but steady, stream of updates in the year since launch, and Iron Gate Studio has laid out exactly what we can expect from the future of Valheim. PCGamesN Thursday, January 13, 2022 6:06 AM What is the GTA 5 podium car this week? GTA Online vehicles are expensive things, so we're happy to take a spin on the Diamond Casino's Lucky Wheel to get a discount. Winning isn't guaranteed, sure, but it isn't out of the question either. Look, we don't have a problem - leave it alone. You can spin the Diamond Casino's Lucky Wheel once a day, and each Podium Car refreshes after seven days on a Thursday. Basically, you have seven shots to get the vehicle of that given week. If you own a Penthouse, you can spin it for free, but if you don't it's $500 a spin. Don't fret if you don't win, though, as you can win something else. You have a one in 20 chance of getting the podium vehicle, a car discount, or a mystery prize. There's a four in 20 chance of getting clothes, chips, and cash. Finally, there's a five in 20 chance of getting RP. Keeping tabs on the GTA Online podium car can be a bother, though, so we're going to keep this GTA 5 guide updated so you have somewhere to check back on. On that note, here's the GTA 5 podium car for this week. RELATED LINKS: GTA 5 mods, GTA 6, Buy GTA V |
PCGamesN Thursday, January 13, 2022 6:03 AM The GTA Online Los Santos Tuners update introduced plenty of new content, all focused on the city's underground tuner scene. There's a new 'social space', called the LS Car Meet, where you can show off your souped-up cars, race with fellow gearheads, and take on jobs - here's how to join the LS Car Meet in the Los Santos Tuners update. Throughout your time spent in the Car Meet, you can level up your reputation and unlock new benefits as you progress. There's also a huge Test Track inside the warehouse, where you can try out Test Rides - a great opportunity to take different vehicles for a spin. Becoming an LS Car Meet member sets you back $50,000 in-game bucks, but it grants you access to a bunch of underground shops - the Merch Shop, Tattoo Shop, and a Modding Area where you can tweak your car in real time. At higher levels, you can create your own customised area in the Car Meet, called a Private Takeover. LS Car Meet members can also compete in Prize Ride challenges, in order to be in with a chance to win a Prize Ride. RELATED LINKS: GTA 5 mods, GTA 6, Buy GTA V |
PCGamesN Thursday, January 13, 2022 4:53 AM Nvidia released the RTX 3080 over a year ago, but it's still next to impossible to upgrade your GPU without selling a kidney (which we definitely don't recommend). Fortunately, you can now rent one through the green team's cloud gaming service and it might surprise you that the GeForce Now RTX 3080 membership really does stack up against the real deal. If you're familiar with the original Priority membership, then this works in the same way. For the uninitiated, though, GeForce Now's a little different to your usual cloud gaming service, relying on your own library rather than supplying you with a rotating roster of games like Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. This is designed to give you ownership of what you can play rather than sticking a deadline on when you can play until. The RTX 3080 membership is perhaps the biggest upgrade to GeForce Now since Nvidia switched on RTX for Priority members in 2019. It now falls in line with the suped up resolutions and frame rates that even the latest consoles are capable of, including 1440p at 120fps on PCs, 1600p at 120fps on Mac, and up to 4K at 60fps with HDR on Nvidia Shield devices. And this is to say nothing of longer sessions of up to eight hours, better adaptive sync technology, and a lower system latency. PCGamesN Thursday, January 13, 2022 4:39 AM 2022 is here, League of Legends fans, which means another year packed with gameplay updates, new champions to welcome to the MOBA game, and plenty of new skins. League of Legends patch 12.1 has headed to live servers, bringing a handful of item and champ changes and some snazzy new Elderwood skins. Now, it's time to see what the second patch of the Season 12 League of Legends patch schedule will bring. The big news for 12.2 is the arrival of brand-new champion, Zeri. It seems she might have made a slightly premature debut as her universe and biography pages (which went live January 4) appear to have now been taken down, though we have an idea of what she's all about from the details that were offered in these when live. As reported by Surrenderat20, Zeri will be known as The Spark of Zaun, and will be a marksman champ who "channels her electric magic to charge herself and her custom-crafted gun". We don't know anything about her abilities beyond a few hints in the bio and universe info, but you can check out a fuller description in Zeri's section below. Patch 12.2 also brings a whole bunch of new champion skins. Akshan and Janna are getting Crystal Rose skins, while Elise is getting a Withered Rose style. Then there are plenty of Porcelain and Firecracker skins to go around for others. You can take a look at all of these in the notes below. PCGamesN Thursday, January 13, 2022 5:54 AM Elden Ring is coming to PC February 25, 2022, and publisher Bandai Namco has shared some new technical details about the new Soulsborne game. Developer FromSoftware recently shared 15 minutes of extended gameplay, which you can watch here, and also announced the game's pre-order bonuses and several collectors editions. In an FAQ article, Bandai Namco states that Elden Ring will support a maximum resolution of native 4K, HDR, and frame rates of up to 60fps. Unfortunately, it appears that FromSoftware has implemented a frame rate cap, as it did previously with its previous game, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. However, as with previous Soulsborne games, it's likely that this will be circumvented through mods. While it won't be available at launch, ray tracing support should add another layer of gross incandescence to Elden Ring's world. Currently, there's no indication that AMD FSR or Nvidia DLSS will be available to help boost fps, but we'll update this page if and when that changes. Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Thursday, January 13, 2022 6:00 AM It's probably more trouble than it's worth to sidestep around comparisons to Mount & Blade with Sands Of Salzaar. It's mostly the structure. Sands Of Salzaar drops you into a world of dynamically warring factions. You can join or compete with them by founding your own, or ignore them to beat up roving bandits, clear out combined dungeon/random encounter sites, and do odd jobs for named NPCs. Some of those figures are powerful, unkillable, and recruitable, although you may have to win them over with favours or gifts. You'll likely do a bit of everything, but mostly you'll be smashing armies into each other in 2D skirmishes. It's no clone, though. While its component parts are familiar, Salzaar does enough of its own thing to win my affection, and its odd but sincere personality shines despite some muddy edges. |
Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Thursday, January 13, 2022 5:00 AM The studio co-founded by former Valve writer Chet Faliszek and former Riot designer Kimberly Voll have released The Anacrusis into early access today, a Left 4 Dead-like set in 70s space. Much like its undead predecessor, this is a game where four players team up and pew pew through waves of alien nasties. But it's not as despairing as its zombified brethren. This is upbeat and colourful and at times, really quite silly. Yes, it's still pretty similar to Left 4 Dead, but is home to a few things that help separate it from its zombified brethren. To test this stuff out, we had a full team of four in our hands-on preview session at the very end of last year – myself, Imogen (RPS in peace), Katharine, and Chet himself, who steered us through encounters with supreme patience. All in all, we sampled a 'full run', so a total of four levels, each with lots of, "Oh god, oh no," moments. And it's safe to say we had a lot of fun with it. |

PC Invasion - FeedDDD Thursday, January 13, 2022 9:00 AM Genshin Impact events are a smorgasbord of different gameplay features. One day you might be fighting enemies, playing Fall Guys-esque minigames, or playing hide-and-seek. Yeah, we have variety. Next in the rotating list of event modes in the ever-popular gacha game is the Windtrace event. Which is just hide-and-seek. Or really, it's just Propnight. PC Invasion - FeedDDD Thursday, January 13, 2022 7:55 AM The Anacrusis follows in the footsteps of online co-op shooters like Left 4 Dead and Back 4 Blood. The difference is that, instead of relying on the horrors of a zombie apocalypse, you and your teammates need to fend off hordes of aliens. The sci-fi themes are also combined with cartoony, retro-futuristic design. Our guides and features hub for The Anacrusis teaches you everything you need to know about perks, weapons, alien enemies, and more. Note: Please be reminded that the guides herein are based on the Early Access version of the game. The Anacrusis guides and features hub Character selection and loadouts – The Anacrusis features four characters. Do you actually get to choose which one you'll play for the rest of your run? What about the loadout screen? Single-player and multiplayer: Solo with bots, crossplay with peeps, and party codes – You can go through levels as a group or you can go at it alone with bots. Here's what you can expect whether y... |
PC Invasion - FeedDDD Thursday, January 13, 2022 7:50 AM Similar to online co-op shooters/action games like Left 4 Dead, Back 4 Blood, and Vermintide, The Anacrusis has you teaming up with players as you take down scores of hostiles. Here's our guide to help you with all the special alien types in The Anacrusis. Note: For more information, check out our guides and features hub for The Anacrusis. Likewise, please be reminded that this guide is based on the Early Access version of the game. The Anacrusis aliens guide – Defeating the special alien enemies Horde Attacks Okay, horde attacks are, obviously, just a bunch of regular mobs swarming you. However, they're still worth mentioning due to how these hectic moments can make or break your run. Horde attacks can happen based on the AI Director's whim (usually accompanied by the usual action-packed music). Alternatively, these can occur at predetermined areas in levels (i.e., activating an elevator or opening a large door). My advice is to find a corner and hunk... |
PC Invasion - FeedDDD Thursday, January 13, 2022 7:45 AM As you go through various levels and maps in The Anacrusis, you'll randomly encounter devices that provide unique bonuses. These will, essentially, allow you to create a "build" or "template," buffing certain facets that you often use during combat. Here's our guide to help you with the Matter Compiler and the best perks in The Anacrusis. Note: For more information, check out our guides and features hub for The Anacrusis. Likewise, please be reminded that this guide is based on the Early Access version of the game. The Anacrusis best perks guide – Which perks to get from the Matter Compiler The device called the Matter Compiler is what you need to interact with in The Anacrusis. It's a terminal with a question mark (as seen in the featured image). If you're playing with bots, there's a good chance that the AI will magically know where these are even if you somehow moved past the area. Three random perks will be avail... |
PC Invasion - FeedDDD Thursday, January 13, 2022 7:40 AM From time to time in The Anacrusis, you'll be fighting dozens of deadly aliens. While some firearms can get the job done, you'll probably want to use stuff that can either make things go boom or add a utility effect. Here's our guide that ranks the best grenades and explosives in The Anacrusis. Note: For more information, check out our guides and features hub for The Anacrusis. Likewise, please be reminded that this guide is based on the Early Access version of the game. The Anacrusis explosives guide – The best grenades to use Stasis Grenade The Stasis Grenade is probably the best grenade right now in The Anacrusis. It has a wide area of effect, greatly slowing down most enemies, including Brutes (though it doesn't work on Spawner Turrets and Eggs). Because of the speed debuff, enemies that enter its AoE can be blasted and mowed down with focused fire (i.e., Arc Rifle or Auto-Turret). Vortex Grenade The Vortex Grenade in The Anacrusis is pretty... |
