There's also a standalone benchmark tool that you can download from the game's Steam page, so you can see for yourself how the beast-biffing RPG will run on your hardware. In theory, these are great developments. Lower requirements mean a more widely accessible game, and the benchmark tool – which covers a good six minutes of combined cinematics and simulated free roaming – brings reassurance and accountability to this otherwise hype-reliant prerelease period. Sadly, there are two problems. One, the benchmark confirms outright that Monster Hunter Wilds will run like stagnant goulash on low-end PCs, and two, it does so to the extent that I'm not sure that the revised minimum specs are even reliable. |

A leaked trailer for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Delta remake lists a release date of August 28, 2025 for the title, as well as confirms the return of the Ape Escape collaboration. The trailer was spotted on the Playstation store and posted to Resetera by user NateDog. [Thanks, Resetera!]
Metal Gear Solid Delta is remake of 2004's Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and it does not yet have an officially announced release date despite being reportedly playable "from beginning to end" back in September 2024. In addition to showing off some of the game's bosses, such as The Fury and The End, the trailer also confirmed the return of Ape Escape crossover content. This collaboration originally appeared in Playstation 2 copies of the original game as a series of small missions featuring the series' signature Apes.
You can watch the leaked trailer itself here.
Back in October, 2024, Producer Noriaki Okamura and Creative Producer Yuji Korekado discussed possibly remaking other games in the series in an interview with Famitsu. The month after, Konami also revealed that Jodi Benson (a.k.a. Suzetta Minet) would return to voice the character of Eva.
According to the leaked trailer, Metal Gear Solid Delta will release on August 28, 2025, for PS5. The game is also expected to come to PC and Xbox Series X.

Bandai Namco revealed a new racing game titled Wangan Midnight: Speed Ignition. The new title, which is inspired by Michiharu Kusunoki's Japanese highway racing manga series, will be available in arcades. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
The new arcade game will feature cars like the Nissan GT-R and Honda NSX. It will also have a new arcade cabinet aimed to heighten the sense of presence inside a car. In addition to improved speakers, it will also come with a steering wheel with better control feedback and a 6-speed H-pattern shifter for players to change gears like in real cars with manual transmission.
The new subtitle Speed Ignition will mark a major departure from the long-running Wangan Midnight: Maximum Tune series, which initially launched in 2004 and had its 20th anniversary in 2024. As of early 2025, the arcade game's latest version is 6RR Plus in Japan, 6RR in Asia Pacific, and 5DX in North America and mainland China.
Wangan Midnight: Speed Ignition will be available for arcades. Bandai Namco will hold the first location tests for the new arcade game at Namco Matsudo in Chiba prefecture on March 21-29, 2025, and Namco Lazona Kawasaki in Kanagawa prefecture from March 28 until April 2, 2025.

Youtube Documentary maker Archipel announced an upcoming project that will involve NieR series director Yoko Taro. There is currently no release date for the video, which Archipel has described as being editorial in nature, but more details are promised "soon."
Archipel is a two-person outfit that makes documentaries about various Japanese creatives and pieces of media, often featuring interviews with the people involved. Previous videos covered topics such as the development of Metaphor: Refantazio, the art direction of the Final Fantasy series, and even the difficulty of running a ramen restaurant during the COVID-19 pandemic. The videos are then put up for free on the Archipel Youtube channel, while the team itself is supported primarily via Patreon.
Yoko Taro is known as the director of the JRPG series Nier, including Nier: Automata. He is known for his eclectic style and for appearing in public wearing a large mask. The announcement of their collaboration came via the Archipel Twitter account which Yoko Taro then retweeted with an attached emoticon.
You can find the announcement from Archipel in the tweet below, as well as see Yoko Taro's response to it.
Back in August, 2024, Yoko Taro was featured in a video by Atlus expressing his excitement for the then-upcoming Metaphor: Refantazio. Later that same year, Yoko Taro suggested that the stage play Bakuken that he wrote may run again in late 2025.
There is currently no release date for the Archipel and Yoko Taro collaboration. More details are promised soon, however.

There's finally an update on the Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes DLC that was supposed to start appearing in 2024, as well as an updated roadmap for additional add-ons. Things will start with a The Chapter of Marisa expansion on February 27, 2025.
The Eiyuden Chronicle add-ons were designed to make the game act a bit like Suikoden 3, which featured multiple campaigns and viewpoints for the leads. These were supposed to start with Guardians member Marisa in 2024, though multiple delays pushed it out of last year. At the end of December 2024, 2025 releases were promised, and now that's coming true.
The rest of the Eiyuden Chronicle DLC roadmap confirms exact dates for the remaining two add-ons as well. Galdean Empire representative Seign Kesling's The Chapter of Seign will follow on March 13, 2025. Finally, things close out with multiple supporting cast members' side story being told in The Chapter of Markus on April 3, 2025. People who backed the Kickstarter will be able to claim their copies of the add-ons via Yetee Hub.
Here's the full roadmap image:

Good Smile Company is making more Evangelion Nendoroids, with new ones based on the Rebuild of Evangelion characters like Shinji Ikari and Eva Unit-01. There will also be a series of Nendoroid Surprise blind box figures based on the anime. No release window is available for any of them, due to how early in development the projects are. Everything came up during the company's Nendoroid Funs 2025 Winter showcase.
Since both the Shinji and Eva Unit-01 figures are so early in development, there are no prototypes to show. The one for Shinji confirmed he'll wear his plugsuit from the remakes, specifically from Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance. The Eva-01 Unit may be further along in development. This is because the announcement image for it actually featured concept art of the unit in the classic Nendoroid chibi style.
The Nendoroid Surprise selection is too early for there to be anything to show. During the presentation, Good Smile Company only showed a teaser image of the Rebuild of Evangelion logo instead.
Here's how the teaser images for the Evangelion Nendoroids look:

We got a better look at the refreshed releases of the Sword Art Online Nendoroids of Kirito and Asuna, as Good Smile Company showcased the figures 2.0 versions during Nendoroid Funs 2025 Winter. The video actually showed prototypes of both of the updated items. These are based on both characters' appearances in the original series.
These two are quite far along in development. Both of the 2.0 Sword Art Online Kirito and Asuna Nendoroids appeared in painted prototype form during the video. Also, because this was a video and not just photographs, Good Smile Company shared multiple examples of potential poses. Most of these tended to be active ones. So we got to see Asuna wielding Lambent Light with smiling and shouting expressions. In the case of Kirito, he has both Dark Repulser and Elucidator on hand in these examples, and his smiling and angry face plates are shown.
Here's the official photo announcing the rerelease and showing both characters:

Given how many Nendoroids there are of Sword Art Online characters, it might be difficult to remember the original Asuna and Kirito ones' preorders opened in 2012 ahead of a 2013 release. Since then, we've also seen ones based on other entries, such as the Titania Asuna. There are also ones based on Alicizationand Ordinal Scale.
The 2.0 Sword Art Online Kirito and Asuna Nendoroids are in development, and there's no release window for the figures yet. Since painted prototypes appeared, we could see pre-orders open in a few weeks. The anime is on Crunchyroll. Yen Press handles the light novels and manga series outside of Japan.

Capcom announced that it will shut down the multiplayer game Resident Evil Re:Verse, and that service for it ends on June 29, 2025. On that day, it will also stop including the game with copies of Resident Evil Village. It originally appeared as a pack-in with the title. As servers will be closed, the game will be unplayable after that date, even though it would be possible to still download it.
While the Resident Evil Re:Verse service ends in about four months, Capcom hasn't cut off DLC sales yet. That will happen on March 3, 2025. The Premium Pass will leave the shop that day. So will the RP Boost 3, 10, and 50 packs. It will also stop selling eight costumes for Ada Wong, Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, Leon S Kennedy, Hunt, and both the Hunter and Super Tyrant skins.
Here's the list of skins that will be gone forever after March 3, 2025:

Since Utena is so early in development, there's no prototype figure of the Nendoroid just yet. Instead, we get concept art in the presentation. Things started with shots of her Ohtori Academy uniform, before highlighting the concept art for her face. We then get to see her full princely attire. As a note, this is only based on the original anime adaptation of the series, so don't expect items inspired by the movie.

The Pokemon Company announced that it will publish a new anime short starring Dragonite on Pokemon Day 2025. The movie will have the Japanese title "Kairyuu to Yuubinya-san," which roughly translates to "Dragonite and the Mail Carrier." We will be able to watch it on February 27, 2025.
Comix Wave Films will produce the animated movie, which will depict Dragonite as a mail carrier as it delivers mail by flying around the world. Dragonite will work with Hana, a Paldean girl striving to become an ace mail deliverer, to deliver a letter from Rio to the latter's father who is working in Kanto.
Evan Call, the American composer known for his works on anime shows like Frieren: Beyond Journey's End and Violet Evergarden, will produce the soundtrack for this Pokemon short animation. He will also collaborate with suis, the vocalist of the band Yorushika, to perform the animation's theme song "Paper Airplane" in both Japanese and English. The Pokemon Company has also published pre-save pages for both the soundtrack and the theme song single on Spotify, YouTube Music, and Apple Music.
The Pokemon Company has been frequently publishing short animated movies to celebrate special days around the world. In late January 2025, it published a Lunar New Year-themed video starring the snake Pokemon Ekans and its evolution Arbok, which also fit the Year of the Snake as the Chinese zodiac of 2025.

I picked up Urban Myth Dissolution Center because that aesthetic just killed me. The screenshots and trailer Shueisha Games shared were too good. I didn't expect that I'd not only be hopping into a game that looked incredibly unique and featured a stunning aesthetic, but also featured captivating gameplay and intriguing stories. I'm shocked! This is a game that deserves a huge audience.
Azami Fukurai always had the ability to see things. She figured these red, indistinct figures roaming the world happened to be ghosts. It terrified her. When she saw an ad for the Urban Legend Dissolution Center, she visited in search of help. After being tested by Center Director Ayumu Meguriya, who tested her abilities with an investigation into a cursed chair that killed anyone who sat in it, Azami… absolutely decimated that chair. Since it was on loan and very expensive, she now needs to use her gift of Clairvoyance alongside Director Ayumu's Vision to solve cases the center sends her out on alongside driver and assistant Yasmine.
If you love Ace Attorney or Touch Detective, then Urban Myth Dissolution Center should show up on your wishlist. It's an adventure game along those lines and features both a similar sense of humor at times. However, it does deal with dark situations and themes, such as stalking, doxxing, murder, and death, so keep that in mind. Cases run over multiple days and follow a certain pattern. First, on the ride to a spot with Yasmine, Azami will search the internet for clues. This will involve checking social media accounts talking about the case to find out more elements to investigate, as well as use Azami's Clairvoyance to find search terms to go deeper. For example, you may learn about characters' pasts and the history behind certain locations.
Once you reach the place where the urban myth appeared, you need to investigate the scene. This means talking to everyone there, checking points of interest, and popping the glasses the Director gave Azami to use Clairvoyance to see shadows of the past and urban myth appearances. As you discuss and investigate things, you'll unlock new things to ask people about. You'll also need to start making deductions about what's going on, forming hypotheses. As a day of investigating comes to a close, Director Ayumu tends to call in to figure out the identity of the urban myth, reach conclusions, or help you gather information to solve it if you're at the end of the case. This final part can be a multi-step process that demands precision. Which is the only failing I actually found with the game, as sometimes it'll demand you select phrases in a certain order, when another "answer" with say the last two out of three options flipped could be equally correct. But aside from that, the pacing is pretty perfect, and as you go through cases there will be threads that build up an additional storyline around the Urban Myth Dissolution Center itself.
![]()
![]()
![]()
There are two things that make Urban Myth Dissolution Center so special. The first is the whole concept and execution of it. This is a fantastic adventure game with a unique approach. It feels like it would fall into the "horror" and "supernatural" genres. And it definitely does! But it also subverts that by often offering additional explanations for things. Throughout the first case, I found it starts to become clear what's actually happening. It meant that I appreciated that it took a center with two individuals who do actually possess otherworldly abilities to sometimes spot things others wouldn't.
Also, this game is gorgeous. The spritework in Urban Myth Dissolution Center is sublime. I adored all the character portraits, which ended up being so detailed even with the minimalistic approach. The lavish designs for the CG and animated story segments are beautiful. They can make the mundane seem otherworldly and off-putting. Not to mention how effective more exaggerated facial expressions and the urban myth anomaly designs are. To then also make the actual investigation scenes more minimalistic, so when you focus in on areas of interest and character portraits they demand more attention, is a stroke of brilliance.

I genuinely appreciated almost everything about Urban Myth Dissolution Center, with its art direction, gameplay, and story all being quite captivating. The only occasional annoyances stemmed from some nitpicky responses and requirements during investigations and hypothesis-forming segments. If it didn't have those minor issues, I'd call it a pretty perfect adventure.
Urban Myth Dissolution Center will come to the Switch, PS5, and PC on February 13, 2025.

Your wallet will be taking a critical hit by the end of the February 2025 games lineup as it includes epic RPGs like Avowed and the highly anticipated multiplayer title Monster Hunter Wilds, which is likely to be a mega-hit on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. Monster Hunter Wilds will be the first game in the series to include crossplay, likely adding to its value for fans.
Avowed (Xbox Series X|S, PC)
![]()
Publisher: Xbox Game Studios
Famous RPG developer Obsidian is launching its next fantasy roleplaying game, Avowed, into the wild on February 18. This game is a new action RPG that takes place in the acclaimed Pillars of Eternity universe but doesn't necessarily require you to play those games to get into this experience. You'll be investigating a plague that has afflicted the Living Lands, and it is up to you to thwart it with your melee and magical skills. Back in November, our preview called the game a "masterpiece in the making."
"Its accessible mechanics make it a welcoming experience for newcomers to the genre, while its diverse combat tactics provide a satisfying challenge," said the article by Kristina Ebanez. "In just a few hours, I found myself lost in its expansive world, filled with a variety of activities." Hopefully, it can deliver, despite its limitation to 30 frames per second on Xbox Series X|S. It's one of those February 2025 games to be excited for, regardless.
Civilization VII (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch)
![]()
Publisher: 2K
The next entry in the legendary strategy series Civilization VII is heading to PC and consoles simultaneously on February 11. Starting with any leader, you can start your own civilization, build its cities, and create new technologies to make your civilization competitive against others. You'll have to deal with each Age as time progresses, adding new gameplay mechanics to learn and adapt to. The leader you choose, like Benjamin Franklin or Lafayette, has a unique ability, and according to the Steam page, "can further be improved with customizable attributes earned through gameplay." They are no longer tied to a specific society.
"Firaxis probably could have gotten away with a safer approach with this installment, opting for just better graphics," said our 9/10 review. "Instead, it boldly revamped a lot of the core systems to make the entire game more streamlined for both newcomers and veterans alike."
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC)
![]()
Publisher: Deep Silver
Gamers can live out their medieval fantasy in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the sequel to the crowdfunded hit. You'll be playing as Henry in this 15th Century Europe-inspired land, forming choices and clashing blades with thy enemies with steel. This open world game is advertised to feature "bustling cities" and "lush forests" as you explore the historic-themed areas.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 seems to be the first big critical hit of 2025. It currently has an 88 Metacritic score from 53 different outlets for its PC version. "Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is one I often dreamed of existing when I was growing up watching a ton of medieval-time movies and TV shows," said our review. "One where you get to actually make decisions, and have complete control over your choices, right or wrong." It also says that the game has "such a satisfying and rewarding combat system," despite some bugs along the way.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC)
![]()
Publisher: Sega
The wacky adventures of Goro Majima continues in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii as he forgets who he is and becomes a captain of the sea. After getting shipwrecked and saved by a kid named Noah, he finds himself on the high seas taking on modern-day pirates and criminals along the way in an eccentric adventure that features dual-blade action and a customizable ship. It may put the extremely dull Skull and Bones to shame as it also features naval combat.
As this is a spinoff, fans are expecting the game to be shorter than the mainline Like a Dragon/Yakuza titles. Thankfully, it will be around 1.3-1.5x longer than Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, according to a Famitsu interview (via GameRant) with Ryu Ga Gotoku boss Masayoshi Yokoyama, so there will be quite a lot of content to scour through.
Monster Hunter Wilds (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC)
![]()
Publisher: Capcom
You can mark your "Proof of a Hero" when Monster Hunter Wilds finally launches on February 28 for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC with crossplay support. As you'd expect from past titles, we'll be taking on terrifying beasts, using their body parts and fur for new armor, and protecting the world from foes beyond our comprehension. This time, it all takes place in the Forbidden Lands, which has drastically changing weather than can dynamically alter our gameplay experience. "Not only will hunters have a multitude of weapons and armor to choose from, but the art of the hunt itself has evolved as hunters learn to anticipate monsters' behavior and familiarize themselves with their environment," explains the Steam page.
You'll be able to get a sneak peek of the action when the second open beta begins on February 6 and ends on February 9. Another starts a week later on February 13 and runs until February 16. When the game fully launches, it's likely going to be one of the most popular February 2025 games.

Despite what you may have heard, Roccia is an undeniably strong character in Wuthering Waves, but strength alone isn't the only deciding factor when it comes to spending your hard-earned currency. The real question is: does she bring enough value to your account to justify the investment?
Is Roccia Worth Pulling in Wuthering Waves?
Roccia enters Wuthering Waves at an intriguing point in the meta. She is the best-in-slot (BiS) sub-DPS for two of the game's most powerful damage dealers, Camellya and Havoc Rover. Her Concerto rotation is incredibly fast, and she boasts the best grouping abilities in the game by a significant margin. With all these strengths, why are some players hesitant to pull for her?
The answer is simple: competition.
The Sanhau Factor
![]()
Roccia's biggest drawback isn't her own kit but the existence of Sanhua, a highly accessible and extremely effective alternative. Sanhua, a 4-star character available for free by completing a specific Tower of Adversity stage, provides similar benefits to Roccia with some key advantages that make pulling Roccia seem like a bit of a gamble:
The Grouping Debate
![]()
Roccia's unparalleled grouping ability is one of her major selling points and is certainly a significant factor to consider before pulling her. However, does the current endgame content of Wuthering Waves demand it? Honestly, no. Not really. The most difficult content in Wuthering Waves, the Tower of Adversity and Tactical Holograms, primarily feature single-target boss fights where grouping isn't particularly useful. While her ability to gather enemies is impressive at first, its relevance to the meta remains questionable because of the current focus of the endgame. So then, what about her future?
Is Roccia Futureproof?
While this may all sound pretty iffy for Roccia, none of this is to say she isn't a strong pull. She does far more damage than Sanhau and has access to far superior AoE. She absolutely is account-valuable, but meta relevance shifts over time, and right now, her role is somewhat niche. There is often another character that will fit better in her place on her team compositions. Five-star characters are expensive to acquire and even more expensive to build because of the intense RNG of Echo farming and limitations on Weekly materials. If you're considering pulling for Roccia, ask yourself: Do I need Roccia right now for my current account?
![]()
If you have to pause before answering, it might be best to save your Asterite for a different character that better fits your long-term goals. That said, if you love her playstyle or enjoy her character like I do, there's nothing wrong with pulling for favorites. Just ensure she aligns well with what your account needs, as there are future characters coming out that will likely be more valuable in the short term (Phoebe).
At the end of the day, Roccia is a strong character. But is she must-pull strong? Well, maybe in the future, when content involves AoE encounters and grouping, but certainly not right now. She is super fun to play, though.

Most 5-star characters in Genshin Impact are limited, meaning they're only obtainable during specific event banners. However, a select few are relegated to the standard pool, giving players a chance to pull the character even when they're not featured. Is Yumemizuki Mizuki fated to be limited or standard?
Mizuki will be a standard 5-star character
HoYoverse confirmed during a version preview that Yumemizuki Mizuki will be added to the standard 5-star character pool. This means her upcoming banner in the first half of Version 5.4 will likely be the only dedicated event banner for Mizuki. After her banner comes to an end, you'll have a small chance to obtain her on other limited character banners, on the standard banner, or on Chronicled Wish banners.
![]()
Does this mean Mizuki will be bad?
Those who were around during the Dehya debacle might be anxious at this news. Standard 5-star characters range from fairly decent (Tighnari, Jean) to outright terrible (Dehya, Qiqi). Being added to the standard pool is a portent of mediocrity. Dehya, the most recent character to make her way to the standard banner, is notorious for being particularly weak.
Mizuki will likely never reach the power level of Mavuika or Neuvillette, but she doesn't seem to be bad either. From what we've seen so far, Mizuki will have a unique kit, be easy to build, and work with many teammates. If you like Mizuki and want to play a Swirl DPS, then Mizuki will be a perfectly fine pull.
That being said, unless you really like Mizuki, I recommend holding off on her limited event banner. Save your precious Primogems for a character you love, and you might accidentally get Mizuki along the way. Emphasis on "might." It took me more than two years of playing Genshin Impact to get my first Mona.

Unmatched is a game for fans of tabletop miniature skirmish games or anyone who spends their free time thinking about impossible fighting matchups – like the teenage mutant ninja turtles versus the dinosaurs from Jurassic Park.
Each Unmatched box comes with a set of combatants, a deck of ability cards, and maps for staging your epic tabletop battles. The sets run the pop culture gamut from Marvel heroes to mythological figures and even some historically renowned fighters. Witcher fans can get in on the action by checking out two different box sets that introduce six characters to the Unmatched battle system.
![]()
Unmatched: Witcher: Steel & Silver
Steel & Silver is the best place to begin your Unmatched journey. The set is designed for 2-3 players, and it comes with the two most important characters from The Witcher: Geralt and Ciri. For something a little more off the beaten path, players can also take control of the Ancient Leshen to torment their opponents with dark forest magic. The battle maps included let you fight through the Farylund forest or explore Kaer Morhen, and with full ability decks for each character, this set gives you everything you need to spend hours duking it out with up to two of your friends.
![]()
Unmatched: Witcher: Realms Fall
Realms Fall expands your options by adding two new maps and several new characters from the Witcher universe. This set is also designed for up to three players, and it gives you the option of playing as Philippa, King Eradin, or trying something completely new by controlling Yennefer and Triss simultaneously. For the new duo, Unmatched introduced a sidekick mechanic that opens up options for making your playstyle more expressive than ever.
Both sets are available individually and cost $50 apiece. Restoration Games also sells the sets as a Witcher bundle, which comes with an exclusive mini.
![]()
Bathtub Geralt won't be a useful fighter – he doesn't even have a deck of abilities – but he will spice up your collection. Unmatched is a great game for experienced mini players and newcomers alike, and these Witcher sets are a great way to scratch your itch for the series while waiting as CD Projekt Red works The Witcher 4.

The outcome of most quests in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will decide how the story evolves, and you'll want to pay strong attention to the points of no return.
The points of no return represent certain stages in the main campaign from where you won't be able to backtrack. In simpler words, any side quests left incomplete till this stage will remain as such, so you must finish them before reaching the stages.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 points of no return explained
The two points of no return are decided by the regions available in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. The first point of no return is available in the Trosky region. It's tied with the Necessary Evil quest, which is part of the main storyline.
Before you begin this quest, make sure to complete every side mission available in the Trosky region. Of course, you don't need to complete all of them, but any you leave out will remain like that. Not only will you miss out on the completion rewards, but a part of the lore will also remain out of your access on that particular save.
![]()
The second point of no return is part of the Kuttenburg region, and it appears before you start the Oratores quest. Like Necessary Evil, Oratores is part of the main questline as well. Similar to the previous one, you must finish all side quests available at the Kuttenburg region. Any that you leave unfinished will remain so in your playthrough.
If you're focusing entirely on the main campaign, you'll be able to complete the game quicker. However, you'll be losing out on a lot of fun, as the lore really kicks strong after the first few quests. You'll also progress slower as completing the side missions will help you to gain more in-game experience and other valuable resources like Groschen.

EA FC 25 Zambo Anguissa Serie A POTM SBC solutions
Here's a set of solutions you can use to complete all three tasks in EA FC 25.
Task 1 - Serie A
Task 2 - Top Form
Task 3 - 87-Rated Squad
This Anguissa card offers tremendous value if you're looking for a defensively solid midfielder. He has three different roles++ and double playstyle+. Both Relentless+ and Intercept+ are crucial for the CDM position, as is the presence of Anticipate playstyle.
His Pace (84) is slightly on the lower side of things, but he makes up for it with 86 Dribbling, 87 Defense, and 95 Physicality. For 160,000 coins worth of fodder, the SBC is an absolute bargain, and a future evolution is only going to improve the card further.

Having a torch at hand is an absolute must when exploring the world in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, as even if we ignore how dark nighttime is, Henry must use it to avoid trouble while passing by settlements and towns after sundown.
But how exactly can you equip and use your torch? Here's how to easily get, equip, and use a torch in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and if there are any alternatives to it.
How to equip and use a torch in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
After getting a torch by either looting corpses or from pretty much any merchant in the game, you can equip it in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 by heading to your inventory screen and selecting it. Once the torch is equipped, you will be able to use it by holding down on your D-pad (consoles) or R (mouse + keyboard) until the torch gauge at the bottom of your screen fills up. No matter how much you use it, your torch will not go off.
![]()
As the torch will occupy one of your hands, it is not recommended to use it when in do-or-die situations. To go around that and get a higher boost in visibility at no drawback, use either a Weak Nighthawk or a Nighthawk potion. As we mentioned early on, make sure to also remember that to avoid getting into the guard's bad side, you must have your torch equipped at all times while passing through cities at night.
How to get the recipes for the Nighthawk and Weak Nighthawk potions
The quickest way to get the Nighthawk recipe in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 can be done by purchasing it from Aranka at the Nomad's camp. The camp will be located in the westmost portion of the Trosky region and cost 164 Groschen. She will also sell the Nighthawk potions for 36.9G if you are short on cash. After getting the recipe, you will be able to make each potion by gathering 2x Eyebright, 1x Belladonna, and 1x Chamomile. If you want to pay a little more for the same product, the Apothecary will also sell the recipe.
Now that you know how to equip and use a torch in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, I also highly recommend that you check out How to play Dice in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 for a consistent and handy amount of gold early on.

There are a lot of tools and pieces of kit in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. While each of these pieces of equipment is useful in its own way, you'll definitely find yourself using some things more than others.
Whether you want to make the perfect gifts for each of the Sanrio villagers, or you just want to make one of everything it's possible to make, you'll need to venture far and wide and complete a long list of quests to unlock some of the equipment.
Here's how to unlock all of the major, most useful tools and machines in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
Cooking Stations in Hello Kitty Island Adventure
![]()
Cooking Stations are, at least to begin with, machines that can only be used in specific locations. Some of the Cooking Stations (such as the Oven and the Pizza Oven) can eventually be crafted and placed in visitor cabins, but you're most likely to venture to their original locations.
Here are all of the Cooking Stations currently available in Island Adventure on PC and Nintendo Switch and how to unlock them:
Cooking Station upgrades
Each of the Cooking Stations (except the Cauldron) can be upgraded when certain requirements are met. This allows you to cook using two additional ingredients on top of the base ingredient for each Station, rather than just one, unlocking further recipes to cook.
Here's how to upgrade each Cooking Station:
Player based tools in Hello Kitty Island Adventure
![]()
There are 11 player-based tools in Island Adventure that allow you to further interact with Friendship Island. These are invariably unlocked by leveling up friendships with villagers and completing their quests.
These tools will either appear on the tool wheel (such as the Net, Fishing Rod, or Camera), or they will automatically become available to use when you approach an object that requires the tool (such as the Watering Can or Pickaxe).
Here are all the player-based tools and how to get them:

The nice thing about Kuroku's Basket Showdown is that there aren't many styles to choose from. With only four styles currently available, it's pretty easy to get familiar with all of them and pick the one that works for you. That's the other nice thing: No matter which style you get from the gacha, you can always play around it and be a valuable asset to your team.
Unfortunately, even though you can learn how to play using each style, some of them are just overall better than others, hence the gacha and the rarity system. Knowing this, here's our Tier list of all Styles in Kuroku's Basket Showdown.
Kuroku's Basket Showdown Tier List
![]()
As we said in the beginning, no matter which style you use, you can always be useful to the team as long as you take full advantage of your abilities. For this tier list, we focused on the adaptability, variety, and rarity of each style. Basically, we asked ourselves which style we would be willing to take in almost any situation during a heated match.
S-Tier - Aomino Style
![]()
Believe it or not, we think this Epic style trumps the Legendary style, and here's why: unlike Kagame, the Aomino style is useful even when you aren't near the opponent's hoop. This is mostly because of the Back Spin and the Awakening Move. Once you get close to the hoop, you can simply make a Formless Shot and get points for your team. Versatile, powerful, and easy to learn. If we had to pick the best, we'd pick the Aomino style.
A-Tier - Kagame Style
Now, even though we choose Aomino over this one, it doesn't mean that Kagame is a bad style, far from it. Once a Kagame player is near the opponent's hoop, there's nothing stopping them. The Dunk and the Awakening Move are almost unstoppable and the Jump move is really nice to have. The only downside to this style is that it's not very defensive. Unless you time your Jump ability correctly, opponents can easily take your ball.
B-Tier - Tepei Style
![]()
Out of the two available Rare styles, we definitely had more fun with the Tepei. Why? Because of the Auto Pass and the Hook Shot. The Auto Pass makes the simple act of passing the ball to another player so much smoother. No more worrying about overpowering your pass or having your opponent intercept it. Now, the Hook Shot, is what really sold us on this. Nobody ever expects you to make a Hook shot when you reach the side of your opponent's field, which is exactly the main reason why we like it so much.
C-Tier - Kuroku Style
Don't get us wrong, there are a lot of times when the Kuroku style is useful. However, it only shines when you are dribbling the ball before eventually passing it to another player (with a better style). The Kuroku can dash through your opponents, and that's about it. You can either dash to the side or the front, but it's almost the same thing either way. Dashing can be useful and fun, but... it doesn't win many games.
And there you have it. Keep in mind that our list is completely subjective and that no matter which style you use, you can always be useful to your team. If you need a boost check out our Kuroku's Basket Showdown codes.

Race is one of the most important characteristics of your character in Verse Piece. A testament to that is the fact that Race Rerolls are used as an intermediary currency when trading. Some races in Verse Piece are so powerful that they make you invulnerable in PvP. With all that in mind, we prepared the following Verse Piece race tier list to help you out when rerolling.
Verse Piece Race Tier List
![]()
The above tier list ranks each race in Verse Piece based on how strong it is overall, both in PvE and PvP. In general, Exotic races are just way stronger than all others, with very few exceptions. Contractor is the strongest race in Verse Piece overall, with Dragonic being very close behind. Shadow is the best race for PvP simply because it makes you immune to other players' damage.
List of All Verse Piece Races
Here is a list of all races in Verse Piece, sorted by their rank on the tier list, along with the bonuses they give you. The percentages next to their rarities show the odds of getting a specific race when using Race Rerolls.
How do Races Work in Verse Piece
![]()
Races in Verse Piece give you specific passive bonuses just like traits do. Races don't increase your stats, but they can multiply your damage and give you some unique buffs. For example, the Vampire race lets you lifesteal health back when dealing damage. Also, rerolling your race is a lot more difficult because you need Race Rerolls to do that.
How to Reroll Races
You can reroll your race by using Race Reroll materials from your inventory. When rerolling, you will have to confirm if you want to reroll a Legendary, Mythical, or Exotic race. You can get Race Rerolls either by purchasing them at the Adventure Shop NPC, trading for them with other players, or by redeeming Verse Piece codes.
How to Store Races
![]()
To store your race in Verse Piece, you will first need to expand your race storage. For this, you will need a Race Storage material, which can be obtained in the same way as Race Rerolls. With at least one unlocked slot in your race storage, you can then click on the race in your inventory to switch it out with the race currently on you.
Verse Piece Race Progression
In the beginning, try to get either Reaper or Arrancar so that you can improve the damage of your Sword and Fruit. Once you get a bit more Race Rerolls, try to get either Demonic, Vessel, or Vampire. If you are lucky early, or if you start obtaining more and more Race Rerolls, try to aim either for Contractor, Shadow, or Dragonic, as they are the best races in Verse Piece.
That concludes our Verse Piece race guide and tier list. If you want to check out more of our VP content, then visit the Verse Piece section of Destructoid.

Most players would agree: guns are pretty darn important for Destiny 2. It may come as a surprise to some of the newer players, then, that the pinnacle of utility in the game was an Outlaw/Rampage combo for a while. Chris Proctor worked hard to change that, and succeeded.
It's hard to put into words just how straightforward and downright boring the Perk meta was for Destiny 2 earlier on, truly. Up until Shadowkeep or so, the only thing you really wanted on your gun was a potent reload perk and a reasonable damage perk, and that was it. When Chris Proctor took over weapons design and features back in 2019, however, this all changed, and so it's sad to hear that he's leaving Bungie for good. "In two weeks I'll be living in another country, and in four weeks I'll post an update from a new role," said Proctor over on LinkedIn.
![]()
Chris Proctor is leaving Bungie, moving to a different country
"Working at Bungie at all is the job of a lifetime, sandbox design even moreso, let alone owning Destiny weapons for 5 years and ending up as Sandbox Craft Lead at a studio with a legendary grasp of core gameplay," said Proctor in his announcement. "It's been a humbling experience, and the time of biggest growth in my career (and I reached 23 years in games, 20 as a designer this year). I can't recommend Bungie highly enough as a place to do amazing work with some of the most skilled game devs in the industry."
Often cited as one of the most personable and beloved Bungie employees among the Destiny 2 community members, Proctor made a name for himself by making guns genuinely interesting and engaging to use. And while it's true enough that you do still want them to reload faster and dish out more damage, it'd be silly to pretend Bungie hadn't made strides over the past couple of years. Predictably, the community is saddened by the fact that Proctor is moving on.
Proctor hasn't provided any information on what his next project might be, but he did say that he's about to embark on a "huge, international [move]," and that "it's an exciting time" for him.
Under Proctor's leadership, Bungie began introducing extremely potent and satisfying crowd control Perks such as Voltshot. To say nothing of Reconstruction, Bait & Switch, or Explosive Light, just to list a few. Though I'm certain Bungie would've improved things to some extent even without Proctor, the man knew his stuff, and it'll be interesting to see how Destiny 2's meta changes now that he's gone.

The Team Rocket boss, Giovanni, knows his way around the battlefield, especially with his elite ensemble of creatures. We're here to help you defeat him in Pokémon Go by showing you the best Giovanni counters, team lineup, and strategies for January 2025.
How to defeat Giovanni in Pokémon Go
Once you activate the Super Rocket Radar, you can pinpoint Giovanni's location at PokéStops or Team Rocket balloons. His lineup recently changed with the Adventure Week update, showcasing his new ace Pokémon, Shadow Cresselia. Before heading into battle, it's essential to equip the right team members. Depending on your Pokémon Go selection, here are a few ways you can decide on a group for Giovanni:
Best team lineup for Giovanni in Pokémon Go
You can equip Machamp/Lucario, Tyranitar, and Xerneas to get the best team lineup for Giovanni in Pokémon Go. The first round mandates a Fighting Type Pokémon, where Machamp or Lucario comes into play. Both Pokémon effectively counter Giovanni's Persian and Kangaskhan, who are vulnerable to Fighting-type Pokémon.
![]()
Xerneas can be used for the other two second-round possibilities, with Honchkrow and Kingdra. As a Dark and Dragon-type, respectively, both are weak to Xerneas' Fairy-type attacks. Once these two are down, you can send Tyranitar against Shadow Cresselia. Tyranitar will resist most of the corrupted Lunar Pokémon attacks as a Dark-type, so you should have enough of an advantage to score a win. It can also be helpful for Honchkrow, which has an additional weakness in its rock-type moves.
If you don't have any of these Pokémon in your collection, we'll give you a few alternatives to counter Giovanni:
Best counters against Giovanni in Pokémon Go
No matter what, Persian will always be the first Pokémon shown in Giovanni's fight. So, taking advantage of its weakness in Fighting Types is best. The three most popular choices amongst the community for this match are Annihilape, Machamp, and Lucario. Plus, these creatures can go against Kangaskhan, allowing you to hit two birds with one stone.
The next round could bring out Honchkrow, Kangaskhan, or Kingdra. Kangaskhan and Honchkrow share a weakness with Fairy Types like Xerneas. But since getting a Legendary is pretty challenging, you can opt for other Fairy creatures, such as Togekiss. While Electric-types can be helpful in this battle, only Honchkrow has this weakness.
As the last boss of Pokémon Go's Giovanni battle, Shadow Cresselia will increase the challenge even further. Use Dark, Bug, or Ghost Types against this formidable foe. Besides Tyranitar, Incineroar is an excellent alternative, but the others on the list can prove just as viable.
