Today marks the 20th Anniversary of Counter-Strike V1.0

Who didn't expect that this mod game from Half-life become one of the top competitive multiplayer first-person shooter video game of all time. Today, marks the 20th anniversary of Counter Strike that was initially release by Valve for Microsoft Windows on November 9, 2000.

Originally, it was developed by a two Half-life mod developer Minh "Gooseman" Le and Jess Cliffe. On June 19, 1999, they release the first public beta of Counter-Strike after getting 10,000 hits from a gaming news websites owned by IGN and now defunct GameSpy. On April 12, 2000, Valve teamed up with the original developer to create an official mod for their Half-life series, months later, the game was named to Half-life Counter-Strike and was released to the public on November 9, 2000.

Due to its popularity, the game became a standalone, separate from the Half-life series. It then creates these popular FPS titles; Counter Strike Condition Zero, Source and currently, the Global Offensive.

For those who haven't tried the game yet, Counter-Strike is compose of two opposing teams, the Terrorist and the Counter Terrorist. The objective is to plant or defuse the bomb site or rescue the hostages. The most popular map for these games are the de_dust and cs_assault.

The first major tournament of the game was held at the Cyberathlete Professional League in 2001. In 2013, Valve hosted its first Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Major Championships with the biggest large prizes and was became the most prestigious tournament for CS:GO.

How to Exocism Dust Quest in Perfect World VNG

During your adventure in the Archosaur Outskirts, there will be a quest given by the NPC Scholar Vance, this quest is part of the Exocism Dust where you'll be asked to make an Exorcising Dust. However, some players has hard time doing this quest, especially to those players who is used to automated playing, this is so far one of the quest that requires manual interaction to complete.

If you're type of a player that doesn't read the story or dialog, you will have hard time answering this quest because the clue lies on the instruction given by the NPC.

How to make Exorcising Dust

There are three plants in the field, Necrograss, Tawny Herb and Revealing Rose. You need to place the Illusion Flower to these roses in order.

The Necrograss is on the left, Tawny Herb is at the center and the Revealing Rose is at the most right.

To complete this quest, place the Illusion Flower in the following order:

  1. Revealing Rose
  2. Necrograss
  3. Tawny Herb
  4. Tawny Herb
  5. Necrograss

After that, the NPC must say "Perfectly executed process. Good result!". It means you have successfully completed this quest.

How to Fix App isn't Compatible with your Device in Perfect World VNG

Perfect World drop the biggest update today with their latest map effect, skins, items and new class. But for some reason, some players are not able to download the latest patch and unable to download the game for the meantime.

When players try to update their game from the Google Play Store, it gives then an error message saying "This app isn't compatible with your device anymore. Contact the developers for more info.". Because of this, updating the app is not possible.

Perfect World team temporarily release a solution to fix this issue, a new APK for everyone to download the game without the use of Google Play.

What's New in the Latest Version of Perfect World VNG?

A brand new class, new map effect, new skin, new items and more you can try right now in Perfect World VNG.

Today Perfect World VNG officially expands their already massive world with the debut of Assassin – the newest class under Untamed race. These black-clad melee fighters are specialists in 1-on-1 combat. If you choose to be an Assassin, remember to utilize their special ability to be Invisible. If you're facing an Assassin, be aware of their great damage and super fast blinding attacks.

In order to handle Assassin, the older classes have their skill set adjusted. For example, the pretty Vulpine will be able to detect and reveal an invisible Assassin. Blademaster can apply the stun effect on every target regardless of their Anti-Stun level. Wizard can disappear (for a moment) after freezing. Meanwhile, the healing effect will be removed from Cleric. 

Don't forget to explore the new item: Sack. There's no need to complete any quest to use Sack, just get it from the Market or Dungeon. This new item can help you to enhance your strength by automatically activate the items put in Sack. 

Talk about the weather, you can enjoy the winter in Perfect World VNG with the new map effect: Snow.  In addition, two older classed of Untamed can use their new skins: Leopard for Barbarian and Cat for Vulpine.

First Look of Assassin, The Upcoming Class in Perfect World VNG

Different from their Untamed "Cousins", Assassins are the black-clad melee experts. 

With their signature skill set, Assassins are extremely powerful in 1-on-1 situations. They have two combat stances: Invisible and Visible. While in the Invisible Stance, certain skills will have different effects. 

An Assassin can perform the Shadow Walk which is the key ability for them to switch between their combat stances. Even if you have jumped into the fray, Shadow Walk allows you to instantly wipe your threat and disappear before the enemy. 

Huge damage is an advantage of Assassin, plus their blinding fast attacks. In 6-on-6 group fights, their ability to harass and control enemies makes them great attacking midfielders. However, their strengths are limited while in the air. In massive group fights, their role is to help teammates nuke down enemies near the periphery.

Like any assassin class in other MMORPG, the signature playstyle of Perfect World VNG's Assassin is hit and run. Approach the target with your dash and pop your other abilities to deal a considerable amount of damage. Make sure to save your mobility skill to recreate some distance after the short burst. This playstyle ensures a decent damage output as well as your survivability.

Due to their great damage, Assassin can finish some "weaker" opponents such as Wizard, Cleric, Archer. On the contrary, you should be cautious while facing the tankers like Blademaster, Barbarian or Vulpine. Besides, any Assassin should keep distance with Vulpine because these pretty creatures can detect their Invisible Stance. 

The debut of Assassin will make a big impact in Perfect World VNG, bringing many unique playstyle and surprise. Special Force M Remastered is now Available on Google Play

One of the classic and nostalgic FPS games in PC is now available to download on mobile, the Special Force M Remastered. Players in the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore will be able to play the game today (November 4, 2020). It will be available for android devices via Google Play Store. However, the server will open this afternoon starting 3:00PM (Manila, Philippine Time) .

Developed by DragonFly Games, the mobile version of Special Force will not just restore the full glory of the game in a handled device, but it comes in a remastered edition. It means, players will be able to play the game in an improved graphics.

League of Legends Wild Rift reveals PentaBoom video featuring our Kababayan, Alodia

In celebration with Riot Games first regional open beta for its anticipated mobile MOBA game, League of Legends: Wild Rift, they just recently released new promotional video for the game. It features prominent game creators from SouthEast Asia region, including our kababayan, Alodia Gosiengfiao.

The new promotional video is titled Pentaboom, for those who have no idea about Pentaboom, it is another name for Pentakill. It is a rare achievement for a player in any MOBA game which means a player just successfully eliminates five of its enemy opponents in a short period of time.

The video features prominent game creators like Alodia Gosiengfiao of the Philippines, Jess No Limit of Indonesia, ZBingZ of Thailand, Do Mixi of Vietnam, Soloz of Malaysia, Bebe of Taiwan; and JiangHao Tan, Danial Ron and Silvia Chan of Singapore. It also shows the different culture of Southeast Asia like Karaoke, Boba milk tea and many more.

Logitech announced exclusive PC gear with Virtual K-POP band League of Legends K/DA

It's been already a week since League of Legends Wild Rift open beta launched and introduced their own virtual K-POP band K/DA. However, the hype doesn't stop as RIOT partnered with an accessory maker, Logitech to produced their own exclusive PC gears. Logitech announced today that they are making a lineup gear inspired from the League of Legends K/DA band.

As part of the first exclusive collection for Riot exclusive gear from Logitech, the lineup includes a variant of Logitech's G733 Lightspeed Wireless RGB headset, G304/305 gaming mouse and G840 mousepad. A variant of G333 will also have a League of Legends themed in-ear headphone.

Aside from the K/DA themed peripheral, the box itself will feature the League of Legends character in a stunning Black, Purple and Blue color combinations. How you like that?

For the pricing and availability, it will be available first in China and will be available to the rest of the world starting 2021. The price for the in-ear buds and mousepad will be at $50. While the mouse will be at $60 and $130 for the headset.

Untamed race has just introduced a new class: Assassin. Will they change the current situation in the massive world of Perfect World VNG?

The name Assassin says it all! The new class will be the symbol of speed, flexible and the superior assassination capability. In Perfect World VNG, they are the killers in the dark with the ultimate melee skill.

In short, Assassins are tailored to eliminate theirs target as fast and quietly as possible. Being the master of individual fighting, they are capable of dealing with massive burst damage and then disengage smoothly, leaving their victims no chance to fight back.

Included in this latest version, Perfect World VNG introduces many other updates to improve gamers' experiences. Together with the debut of Assassin, other classes also have their skills modified. How to Solve Incomplete Writing in Genshin Impact

When you came across at the Qingce Village in Genshin Impact, you'll be encountering an Incomplete writing lightning pillar near the Teleport Waypoint. Around it there is some sort of unlock mechanism from five dragon stone statue that you can use to unlock the puzzle.

In this guide, we will walkthrough you on how to to solve all of the Incomplete Writing puzzle in Genshin Impact.

Incomplete Writing – Altar Qingce Village

You can find the first Incomplete Writing lightning pillar is at the east side of the Qingce Village, you can check the map below for the exact location.

The hint to solve this Incomplete Writing is inside the manuscript of the lightning pillar which says.

"…Rex Lapis overcame the Chi, but the Chi could not perish in its entirely. Thus did Rex Lapis conquer each of its facets in turn: its spirit was bound in the north, its bones were pinned in the south-east, its flesh was incarcerated in the north-west, its soul was fettered in the north-east, and its form was crushed in the south-west…".

The highlighted blue words are the hint and you just have to translate the compass direction and use it in order to the dragon stone statue.

To solve it, you need to go to and activate the first statue at the top, then 2nd statue on the bottom right, then 3rd statue at the top left, then 4th statue at the top right and lastly go to the 5th statue at the bottom left.

If you missed the order, you can reset the statue by activating all of them.

Once done, a Precious Chest will appear and you can loot it to get your rewards.

In our case we get 1 x Exile's Pocket Watch, 1 x Lucky Dog's Hourglass, some Fine Enhancement Ore and Mystic Enhancement Ore.

Incomplete Writing – Peak Mountain Qingce Village

The other one is on the top of the highest mountain in the Qingce Village with a huge Tree on top of it. It takes time to reach this mountain, so you need to be patient on climbing this mountain.

Here is the map location for your guide.

Once you've reach the top, read the incomplete manuscript for the hint. The hint says "Here stands this statue, to watch in each direction: the wind-swept ruin, the snow-capped peak, the adepti's abode, and the city of Liyue.

The hint tells a specific location, you need to activate those dragon stone statue that pointing to the said location. It doesn't need to be in order to solve this puzzle.

Once done, the Precious Chest will appear and you'll get the rewards. In our case, we got Exile's Circlet, Lucky Dog's Silver Circlet, and some Mystic Enhancement Ore and Fine Enhancement Ore.
