Diablo 4 boss teases revamped battle passes and more

Diablo 4 is now in its seventh season - how the time flies, eh? The ARPG is continuing to uphold its end of the live service bargain with lots of new content, while players continue to pile into the game despite the fairly recent emergence of a major rival in Path of Exile 2. However, in a new interview, Diablo's general manager Rod Fergusson has described traditional, seasonal battle passes as "antiquated," hinting that some changes could be on the way for Diablo 4. He also says that while armor sets and other cosmetic items have been largely grounded in its hellish fantasy aesthetic so far, Blizzard wants to start being a bit more "flamboyant" and experimental.

If you've been begging NetEase Games to institute a version of role lock in Marvel Rivals, the fingers on the monkey's paw have started to curl. Instead of a new take on Overwatch's longstanding queue and balance solution, we're getting a brand new game mode, and it's going to be limited to just two selectable heroes per team. So if you want to play matches where you mirror the other team on purpose, this is your chance.

Konami Shared Plans for Suikoden Series Future

In an interview with Dengeki Online, Suikoden series Producer Rui Naito, IP & game director Takahiro Sakiyama, and Suikoden 1 and 2 HD Remaster Director Tatsuya Ogushi talked about the future of the series, and the announcements made on the recent Suikoden Special Program. [Thanks, Dengeki Online!]

At one point, the Dengeki interviewer asked about the possibility of playing remastered versions of the sequels to Suikoden 1 and 2. In response to that, Producer Naito echoed his intention to reinvigorate the Suikoden series and build upon it in the future, and how the announcement of the mobile game Suikoden Star Leap and the Suikoden: The Anime series will be the second step of that process.

The developer continued by saying that they don't know how many steps there will be, and joked that there could be as many as 108, in reference to the number of Stars of Destiny in each game. As Konami's only RPG series, Naito said they want to make sure they're taking it one step at a time, so they aren't considering remastering the sequels yet, and will consider what comes next after their current projects are completed.

Suikoden 1 and 2 HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars will come to the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on March 6, 2025. The original games appeared on the PlayStation worldwide. They also appeared together in a collection on the PSP in Japan.

Fortnite plasma burst laser featured image

Partway through Joss' Wanted quests in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2, you'll encounter a task asking you to collect mineral samples using a Plasma Burst Laser. Every part of this objective is tricky, as you must survive long enough to find a laser and determine what structures drop these samples.

How to get a Plasma Burst Laser in Fortnite

First up is finding Fortnite's Plasma Burst Laser weapon, which you can pick up from the following sources:

  • Chest loot
  • Floor loot
  • Player elimination drops
  • Black Market (Seaport City, Magic Mosses)

While chest and floor loot are often go-to solutions for finding various weapon types, Chapter 6, Season 2 introduces Black Markets you can visit to purchase certain gear for gold bars and Dill Bits. A Plasma Burst Laser from the Seaport City and Magic Mosses Black Markets cost 600 gold bars, making them slightly pricey but worthwhile for this quest.

Alternatively, you can obtain Plasma Burst Lasers from chest rewards, floor loot, and player elimination drops, much like you would a regular weapon. However, this is entirely luck-based, and there's a chance you'll go several rounds without finding one unless you explore most of the map or get multiple eliminations. Even then, you often won't spot any until later in the match when you and your other players access rare chests.

Once you have a Plasma Burst Laser from a Black Market or regular loot sources, target any stone structure to get a mineral sample. I just went for a building's wall, but you may have to experiment a bit if certain locations don't work. With the sample on hand, you'll be ready to return to the Magic Mosses Black Market and complete Joss' Wanted quest series.

Chaliceweed in MH Wilds

Monster Hunter Wilds items span from standard Rarity Level 1 to the elusive Level 5. The Chaliceweed, in particular, falls under Rarity 5, making it challenging to discover. But don't worry – we're here to help you track it down in MH Wilds.

How do you get Chaliceweeds in MH Wilds?

Chaliceweed drops rely heavily on MH Wilds' RNG system, often limiting the chances. Fortunately, you can beat the odds by interacting with Glass Algae or fishing for tuna. I recommend starting with the Glass Algae technique first since it seems to drop the most Chaliceweed compared to fishing.

Glass Algae method

Reddit user Fondor_Yards shared a helpful tip for the Glass Algae, where you can boost your luck with specific materials. Try using equipment with Geology Level 2 and the Forger Luck Armor skill. This includes the Geology Charm from the Talismans section and Azuz Armor pieces from the endgame's High Rank. Although it won't guarantee a Chaliceweed spawn, it'll at least increase your chances.

Glass algae can be found in Scarlet Forest's Area 13 (below Wudwud Hideout) and Area 2. Use the map's filter to place a waypoint on the algae.

Dive down and interact with the Glass Algae to farm some Chaliceweed. You likely earn a ton of Gobletweed initially, so you may need to try again. If you want to quicken the speed of the Glass Algae respawn, you can join an Optional Quest in the Scarlet Forest to reset their timers.

Fishing method

You can acquire tuna fish, like Gastronome Tuna, to earn Chaliceweed. It'll sometimes drop with these critter types, but the chances are pretty low. It's best to perform this technique in Scarlet Forest's Area 17, where you can use the Tuff Joint Bait from Kaya's Catch of a Lifetime! side quest (triggers after Gravid Bowfin). Ensure the Environment is set to 'Plenty' while resting, as this feature increases Gastronome Tuna spawns.

This particular method will undoubtedly require a lot of time and patience. Thus, I suggest saving this technique as a last resort to maximize your time.

How to use Chaliceweed in MH Wilds

Use the Chaliceweed with the NPC Rove at Iceshard Cliffs' Area 20. Exchange the Chaliceweed with him to unlock exclusive items. However, you may need to wait until daytime to trigger his appearance if he's not there.

Rove's inventory constantly changes, so it's crucial to make the exchange before he switches it up again. For example, you can use Chaliceweeds to acquire Ancient Wyvern Coins, which pave the way to elite upgrades.

Two Point Museum level up staff fast

Two Point Museum values the rate at which you're leveling up your staff, as it will ultimately determine your success (or failure).

While it makes sense to hire a large number of crew members to run your museum, efficiency is key. Leveling up your staff will improve their performance in their respective roles and give them the necessary skills to run the place.

While your staff will level up on their own, some critical steps must be taken to enhance the entire process.

Best tips and tricks to level up staff faster in Two Point Museum

The first task is ensuring that your workers are constantly engaged with productive work. They will always earn XP when they perform tasks that relate closely to their specializations. While it makes sense to cover workers adequately, don't hire so many that some won't have a job to do. Ensure that all your points of interest have someone working on them consistently, but don't have too many workers for a single role.

If you do that, you'll end up with too many staff members, and some will be idle. It might make sense to reduce the time taken to complete a task. However, it will ultimately result in your staff having downtime and staying idle. This doesn't contribute towards XP gain, and you should stay away from it.

Image via SEGA

You should not exploit your workers, as your staff will need breaks. Moreover, you'll want someone available for Expeditions. They will be unavailable for work whenever you send someone out on an Expedition. Once they return safely from their assignment, they will get a lot of XP for their work.

Always use the Expeditions efficiently, as they also help rank your staff. Just be careful about sending out low-ranked workers on dangerous journeys, as they must return safely to increase their levels and ranks.

Finally, you'll also spot specific locations on every map that will grant extra XP to an assigned Expert. In some cases, your Expert must be at a certain rank to receive the benefits. In such cases, try to rank your staff members more than the recommended number, as it will have more benefits in the long run.

In a nutshell, here's how you should proceed when it comes to leveling up your staff members in Two Point Museum.

  • Make them work, and don't have too many staff members.
  • Make sure your workers are getting the necessary breaks.
  • Send some of your staff members out on Expeditions, as it will also help increase their ranks.
  • Use Experts at zones that give bonus XP.

Ultimately, leveling your staff might not be glamorous, but you can quicken it up. The benefits of doing so will show up in the long run, as your staff members will go up in their levels and ranks much quicker.

Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced Karin S95 Glitch

With the release of Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced on PC, Rockstar is also running a free Karin S95 giveaway on GTA Online though it appears to be bugged at the moment. Here is how to fix the Karin S95 money glitch in GTA V Online Enhanced.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrJZmOerpCE

How to get your money back from the Karin S95 bug

In order to fix the Karin S95 glitch and get your money back if you have lost it, you will need to contact Rockstart support by opening a support ticket. Some players looking to take advantage of the Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced on PC free Karin S95 have run into issues where the game actually subtracts the cost of the Karin S95 (which is $1.9 million) and doesn't even give them the weapon. Some players have received the Karin S95, but it appears like some sort of server congestion bug has made it so the free promotion doesn't apply to some users, causing them to spend the money on it but not actually receive it.

Some users have also reported that the money appears to be removed when trying to redeem the free Karin S95, but isn't actually. Simply closing Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced and reopening it will give you your money back, which means it's just a visual glitch. However, for others, the money is still gone. At that point, you will want to contact Rockstart support to try and get the money reversed back to you.

It's possible that once the Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced and GTA Online servers stabilize and Rockstar issues a fix for the free Karin S95 promotion, they will also implement a fix that will automatically reimburse users who lost the $1.9 million trying to redeem it. Rockstart hasn't confirmed such a thing, but it is common when this sort of issue occurs.
