This week saw Pokémon Go become the property of the Saudi government as Scopely, the mobile game maker owned by Savvy Games Group which itself was founded by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, acquired POGO developer Niantic for the tidy sum of $3.5 billion. In other news, Steam has launched one of its best sales…

New co-op horror hit has more players than GTA 5 and Apex Legends on Steam

REPO has spent the last few weeks growing on Steam, and now it's one of the biggest games on Valve's platform. The spooky indie is so big, in fact, that it just beat out the likes of GTA 5 Enhanced and Stardew Valley, as players band together to make some cash in the Lethal Company-style online experience. In a year filled with surprises, REPO joins the club.

This gorgeous mahogany gaming PC build blends technology with nature perfectly

I'm a complete sucker for a clean-looking gaming PC build, so it's no surprise that this inspired fusion of solid mahogany inside an otherwise standard be quiet! PC case has me hooked. It's not just a stunner, too, with a very intriguing selection of specs that make it a workhorse machine for productivity, not just a gaming powerhouse.

This PC build uses a somewhat unusual set of specs, not least a 12-core Intel Xeon CPU that you'd usually find in a server or workstation machine. Nvidia keeps things sensible for gaming, however, with an RTX 4070 Ti graphics card and 32GB of DDR5 RAM leaving plenty of power to rival the best gaming PCs out there for high performance modern gameplay.

March 15, 2025: Get a cozy beverage and settle down with this week's new Berry Avenue code.

What are the new Berry Avenue codes? Rather than being a conventional Roblox game that uses tower defense, RPG, or shooting game-style mechanics, Berry Avenue is a playground where you can buy a house, work a job, or drive around without a care in the world looking fabulous.

However, you may have noticed that everyone else looks much more stylish than most Roblox experiences. Is this because of the time they spent playing the roleplay sandbox game or perhaps linked to how much they paid in real-world money? While you're here, you should know that we also keep lists of Blox Fruits codes, King Legacy codes, and Anime Adventures codes to get you some free items and rolls for those games.

Atomfall isn't the next Fallout, it's the British RPG I've always wanted

The first five minutes into my two-hour preview of Atomfall do not go well. This is, admittedly, not Atomfall's fault. I'm dropped unceremoniously into the Cumbrian wilds of Casterfell Woods from a pre-existing save file. A river wends its way directly ahead, flanked by stone steps. I wander up the steps on the right and into the ruins of a miner's shack. "Death to unbelievers!" a masked woman screams as a detection meter cycles through white, yellow, then red. I turn tail to sprint up the steps on the left, and straight into a folk horror nightmare of cheery maypoles and human sacrifice. Alright, then.

People love to go on and on about how good Titanfall 2's campaign mode is, and they'd be right to do so, but really we all know there's one specific level we have in mind when it comes to the sidelined shooter: the time travel one. I don't care for shooters all that much, online or offline ones, yet I still gave a go because the time travel level really appealed to me mechanically. Dishonored 2's similarly structured time travel section wooed me similarly, so I was very pleased to discover the newest trailer for Tenet of the Spark this week, an action-adventure game that is basically Titanfall 2 and Dishonored 2's time travel levels made into an entire game.

The Otaku Love Connection Manga Celebrates Love

I love when we get anime and manga series where the lead couple is surrounded by folks who support them and their relationship. The Otaku Love Connection is a manga that takes that concept and makes those side cast members the focus right from its first volume. …Then it kicks it up to the extreme for the sake of comedy. But still, the fact is that we get to see some happy and healthy relationships, alongside some potentially unhealthy obsession, and it's just so fun to ready.

Editor's Note: There will be minor spoilers for volume 1 of The Otaku Love Connection manga below.

Yuzuru Kakoi and Chihiro Kawai are the high school power couple. The two have been together for years. They're both absolutely adorable individuals. They also seem like genuinely good people with a healthy relationship dynamic. How do we know all these things? Because the actual star of this The Otaku Love Connection manga is Wataru Otonari, a classmate who sits next to Yuzuru and is a huge fan of the couple. He thinks they're wonderful, he fully supports their relationship, and just getting to see them being happy makes his day.

Of course, the unhealthy part of this is that he is so over-the-top about this. So much so that he'll talk with his friend and fellow classmate about it. Also, he's pretty obvious about his gawking. So we have the juxtaposition of him being completely supportive, but also an incredibly outspoken member of the crowd that admires the two. Because of course, Yuzuru and Chihiro are so captivating that others notice their antics. So much so that the person who is captivated by Wataru also knows and references that he's a "stalker."

Said additional person is Mashiro Tomaki, and her inclusion helps enhance this dynamic. Because while she isn't crazy about Yuzuru or Chihiro, she is a huge fan of Wataru. Because he's actually gorgeous too, and his "otaku" tendencies get in the way of that. Since she's captivated by him and the fact that he is a good person deep down, as well as her thinking Yuzuru and Chihiro are cute together, she supports and bonds with him over his "hobby." And because she can be more open and herself around Wataru and fangirl over the main couple, she goes from being someone who's just in the background to another individual that's incredibly adorable.

Which leads to already a fun sort of situation in the first volume of The Otaku Love Connection manga. Due to Wataru and Mashiro hanging out together to people watch and see what  Yuzuru and Chihiro are up to, folks get the impression the two of them are together too. As such, they become their own sort of "draw." So much so that the two of them together attract the attention of Yuzuru, and then Chihiro too.

It's a series that could have been really awkward! It could have been creepy to watch Wataru constantly stalking Yuzuru and Chihiro's private moments. But the addition of Mashiro tempers that. Especially since the two of them together have their own sort of chemistry. Plus, it highlights the fact that while these two are the supporting cast members of the main couple's story, they're actually the star of their own story, deserving of and getting their own degree of attention.

Like many first volumes of a new manga series, The Otaku Love Connection is initially about establishing characterizations and relationships. However, the dynamics here really do come into play pretty fast. That pace means that we can hopefully see the rest of the story focus on the fun dynamics that comes from the one OTP shipping the other, and then vice versa.

Volume 1 of The Otaku Love Connection is available now through Square Enix, and volume 2 will debut on June 10, 2025.

Sugardew Island may have a name that is quite similar to a certain other farming sim, but it actually takes direct inspiration from the Nintendo DS lineup of Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons games. In the end, Sugardew Island fails to live up to those titles, but it does at least offer some enjoyment with the intriguing shop system it has.

The colorful, bright, and cheery 3D vibes of Sugardew Island aren't the most original. You could certainly put this game next to a few others and it would be a challenge for those unfamiliar with the genre to tell them apart. However, the more derivative style of this game is far from the main issue when it comes to how it looks and plays.

Screenshot by Siliconera

I played Sugardew Island on Nintendo Switch and the Switch version struggles considerably both in the resolution and performance departments. The resolution is pretty awful, resulting in fuzziness and rough edges around the environments and characters, even in handheld mode where it looks the best. This is a shame since this is the type of cozy game that should look fine on Switch, yet it wouldn't look out of place on the 3DS.

Then there is the performance. The general frame rate is a bit lackluster, presumably because of being on the Switch, but this goes beyond platform as well. Sugardew Island, in general, is a rather slow and prodding farming experience. Every action takes just a tad too long to do, like chopping at a tree, or watering a plant. While this fraction of a second of extra time for each action isn't much on its own, it starts to add up over time as you do chores.

I think most of this slowness comes from the ever-so-slight lack of responsiveness. This is best seen while holding the sprint button. Normally, this would be a welcome feature, especially when games like Stardew don't even have that option. However, turning directions while sprinting is sluggish and awkward, which is a good representation of the overall gameplay.

What makes or breaks a farming sim for me is how everything feels. Unfortunately, Sugardew Island lacks the responsive gameplay that I expect. Then there is the matter with the overall progression system. There is a semblance of some sort of storyline at play, but it is as forgettable as can be.

Screenshot by Siliconera

Having different islands and objectives to upgrade those islands and unlock rewards is, surprisingly, a neat and straightforward system. What is a shame about this is that the tasks to complete them aren't nearly as rewarding. For one, there are so few characters to meet and the world is one of the least interesting I've played in the genre. While there might be romance available, it's not a game I would play long enough to explore.

It is a shame because there is some level of promise and uniqueness. If there is a feature I want in my dream farming sim, it is a shop management system. I am obsessed with the TCG Card Shop Simulator and Supermarket Simulator-style games right now. Interestingly enough, Sugardew Island does include its own mini version of these games.

Instead of the usual shipping box like in other farming sims, you make money by selling your crops in your own shop. Every day, you fill the counters with items you want to sell. Then, when you're ready, you open up shop and sell them to interested customers. You can even haggle prices sometimes. Overall, it is a neat part of this experience and by far my favorite part.

How to Negotiate Store Prices With Customers in Sugardew Island
Screenshot by Siliconera

In fact, a majority of my time in Sugardew Island was just planting crops to then sell them in the shop. This is the most fun I had with the experience. This is why it is so sad that it is still only a fraction of the experience. You can only open your shop once per day and it closes once you run out of items. There is just enough depth here that I wish the rest of the game lived up to.

In the end, Sugardew Island is an almost entirely forgettable farming sim. The dated visuals, lack of responsiveness, and awkward gameplay makes it hard to recommend. That said, there is still something special in the shop management system, which is a (brief) joy to use. It's a shame the rest of Sugardew Island fails to match the shop's level of enjoyment.

Sugardew Island is available right now for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Sim reading a book and the Custom Content list that shows at the start when you open The Sims 4

The Sims 4 is packed with content for both builders and life simmers alike, especially when you take into account all of the optional DLC Expansion Packs, Stuff Packs, and Kits. If you want to get more from your game, you might be tempted by the seemingly bottomless pit of mods and CC.

Mods and CC are fan-made content for The Sims 4 that players on PC can use to improve their game or adjust it to their preferences. Sadly, you won't be able to use Mods or CC if you're playing on another platform.

While Mods are used to improve gameplay, working around the limitations of The Sims 4 as it usually is, CC (Custom Content) is used to add more items into the game for you to use in Create a Sim or Build and Buy mode. Both are equally tempting, not to mention available online, and there's a whole world of possibilities out there courtesy of more technically minded Simmers.

However, before you can even begin to use Mods or CC, you need to know how to install it and make sure it runs when you're in-game. Here's how to do that and how to enable or disable them from within The Sims 4

Where to install Mods and CC for The Sims 4

The Sims 4 Mod location for The Sims 4

Once you've dredged through the thousands of Mods and CC packs available for The Sims 4, you'll need to know where to put them. This is a process that I had to take a whole refresher course on just recently after reinstalling my game, so I can talk you through it.

Wherever your copy of The Sims 4 is installed (mine's on an external hard drive, which caused no end of problems when trying to re-install my CC and Mods), you'll need to locate your Mods folder. For the most part, it's located at the following location:

  • "C:\Users\[user]\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods"

For clarity, my Mods folder is still located here even though the game itself is installed onto an external drive, so yours will likely be in the same location.

It's best to always install Mods and CC without the game open. Installing Mods or CC while the game is running won't mess anything up in the game, but you'll need to restart it after adding anything anyway, so it's just easier to close it before adding Mods or CC to this folder.

If you're planning on going on a CC installation spree, I'd recommend pinning this folder to Quick Access or otherwise creating a shortcut to it on your Desktop.

All CC, regardless of type, will be of a '.package' file type. A lot of CC will be downloaded from their source as '.zip' files, but unzipping these will give you the '.package' files you need to get any bit of CC into The Sims 4

These '.package' files can be placed directly within your Mods folder, or you can create folders within the Mods folder if you want a bit of organization (trust me, it helps). Either way, anything you put into the Mods folder, or folders within it, will appear in a pop-up every time you open The Sims 4, allowing you to see what's currently appearing within your game.

Installing Mods is much the same process, although you'll need to carefully follow any instructions that accompany the Mod. For instance, if you're installing the T.O.O.L. Mod, you need to place an entire folder into The Sims 4 Mods folder rather than a single file (shown above).

How to enable or disable Mods in The Sims 4

The option to enable or disable Mods or CC within The Sims 4 menu

If, for any reason, you want to disable your Mods and CC without removing it all from the Mods folder, this can easily be done through the settings menu in The Sims 4 itself. To do this, open up the Game Options menu, then navigate to "Other."

In this menu, you can check or uncheck the "Enable Custom Content and Mods" checkbox, allowing you to turn them on or off without too much hassle. You can also click the "View Custom Content" button and disable the pop-up that appears each time you open the game if you choose to do so.

It's a good idea to disable Mods and CC if you're planning on installing a new DLC Pack or if the game has recently been updated, especially if you have a lot of Mods running in your game, because Mods sometimes need updating and cause the game to run erratically if they're not updated.

Which past GTA games are worth your time - GTA logo with images from a 70s crime movie

While the classic Grand Theft Auto series only became popular for many after the release of Vice City, it had actually been going on since 1997 when it was in strict 2D. But are those GTA games from the past still worthy of being revisited, or are they better left forgotten?

The forgotten Grand Theft Auto games you should play before GTA 6

Answering the phone

Grand Theft Auto (1997)

Released by UK company DMA Design, previously famous mostly for the puzzle series Lemmings, the original Grand Theft Auto is a top-down 2D game that started development in 1995 and originally focused on a police officer in pursuit of criminals. The publisher noted that that had been done before, and DMA Design was quick to reverse the roles in order to make it more interesting.

It is strange to consider that the GTA series is so old that the first game in the series actually received a (pretty competent) Game Boy Color port. But yes, that's where we are. The original Grand Theft Auto featured the same kind of story as many other games in the series, with a criminal trying to raise the ranks of several organizations by trying to help other members of the gang and commit crimes of their own.

While the perspective and the lack of 3D graphics make the game feel like a relic of the past, the overall freedom and complete recklessness of the experience were unmatched back then. In this one, the objective is not to complete missions but, instead, to reach a certain number of points, arcade-style. Those points can be reached by doing mostly anything that the game rewards, including some quite evil things.

Compared to other games in the series, the original Grand Theft Auto also brings quite a unique sense of wack and chaos. Imagine being able to drive a classic yellow school bus into a crowd with the game praising your combo, making doughnuts with your motorbike on top of a hospital building, or driving a tank onto incoming traffic. Those were the days, for sure.

Grand Theft Auto also spoke to DMA Design's willingness to let the player experiment with how easy it was to mod the game. You could easily change the entire script simply by editing a text document that was in the same folder as the game. Did you want the criminals to have the names of your friends? Two minutes in Notepad, and it would be done.

The game already features all the cities that would make part of the series in the future, including San Andreas and Vice City, except they were simply different levels of the same game. Clearly, they were much smaller in size than what we would see later in subsequent titles of the series. The most interesting thing about the original GTA is how close it is to the current gameplay of the series and its style, despite so many changes to the gameplay and the overall size and vibe.

Sadly, playing this today is a little difficult. Rockstar once offered them as free PC executables, but those links have since been removed, and official releases don't appear in modern stores.

The Grand Theft Auto London expansions (1999)

A red bus hitting a dumpster track
Image via MobyGames

There is not much to say about the two expansions that were released in the wake of the commercial success of the original Grand Theft Auto. It is the same kind of gameplay and overall story, except that now it takes place in London and, specifically, in 1969.

It would have been quite a great experience if, at the time, Rockstar had enough money for a fully licensed psych-rock soundtrack from the time. But, alas, no such luck. Interestingly, this was the first title in the series developed by Rockstar Games through the Rockstar Canada studio. Everything in the game was actually developed by using a third-party mod, GTACars, so basically, the mod scene was already so big that even the developers took advantage of it.

Overall, while both expansions were fine for the time, they are not really worth your time today, as they replicate the basic gameplay of the original game with limited additions. This is a must-play for fans who are madly in love with the idea of driving a double-decker bus in late '70s London, though.

That is the one idea we would like to see come back for the series; since Vice City, there haven't been any more treks to the past. Nailing the vibe of late '60s London was quite the catch for many, instead of a generic Scarface-like '80s.

Grand Theft Auto 2 (1999)

Blowing up a car
Image via Mobygames

Released the same year as the London expansion, this time Rockstar was taking the series into the future. It is not very clear what year the game is supposed to take place, but we are apparently playing in "Anywhere City" and in a generic dystopian future. Again, the objective is to rise the ranks of a criminal organization, this time by completing missions.

Except for this quite unique setting (which is also one we would like to see replicated in the future of the series), a slight graphical upgrade, and additions like hover cars and vaguely futuristic weapons, there is not much worthy of note in this sequel. GTA2 did introduce the idea of having a selection of different radio stations to listen to, though.

Overall, this is one that is safe to skip, as the sequel failed to innovate or feature any new gameplay ideas. Sure, there were some improvements, such as finally getting a health meter instead of trying to judge how long your character has before they die, but not much else.

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories (2005)

Released in October 2005, initially as a PSP exclusive, this was the first time the series went with a mobile-exclusive title that acted as a counterpart to the plot in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

It wasn't simply a port of the classic gameplay of the series. Instead, Liberty City Stories went in a different direction by making the whole empire building a key part of the experience. A sort of cross between the gang wars and properties of Vice City and San Andreas, we are tasked with operating several businesses taken over by enemy gangs, making them profitable and keeping them safe from other hostile takeovers.

A unique feature of the PSP version was the ability to add custom music tracks and make your personalized radio station. It may not sound like much, but in a pre-Spotify world, this was much appreciated.

While Liberty City Stories doesn't reinvent the wheel, it does stand on its own as a unique experience in the world of GTA. This is a great way to experience a new story in the world of the series without resorting to mods. Unfortunately, if you are looking to play it legally today, you are pretty much limited to the mobile version, which has been pretty much abandoned since 2014. Ergo, do not expect the game to take advantage of your modern and powerful smartphone.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories (2006)

Exploring a new part of the city
Image via Mobygames

Following up on Liberty City Stories was another chapter in the same sub-series. Released in late 2006, Vice City Stories acts as a prequel to the events of the game, following a disgraced U.S. Army corporal who tries to raise money to pay for his brother's medications.

While there are no big improvements, Vice City Stories allows you to interact with the many bodies of water, not just by swimming but via a JetSki and being able to dive briefly underwater. There are some minor additions to the gameplay that had never been seen before in a GTA game, such as the ability for players to bribe policemen or nurses, so you can keep all your arsenal intact even after getting caught or "Wasted." A new Beach Patrol mode lets you play a Baywatch simulation on the beaches of Vice City, with Victor out to save people's lives from drowning or dispatching thugs to take care of situations.

This is another quite worthy addition for any fans of the series looking for some extra quality time to spend in Vice City. Unfortunately, as opposed to Liberty City stories, this one -- for some reason -- was never ported on mobile, so it is even tougher to obtain legally. The only way to play it today is either to own a PSP or have the PlayStation 2 re-release. But it is worth it; who would want to miss the first videogame in which Phil Collins appears as himself?

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (2009)

Huang speaking to the boss
Image via MobyGames

Released in March 2009 for both Sony PSP and Nintendo DS, along with later mobile ports, Chinatown Wars has been, as for the time of writing, the final entry into the secondary Grand Theft Auto stories. It is also a fan favorite and, also, one of my favorite titles in the series.

Against the background of the then-current GTA IV plot, Chinatown Wars tells the story of how Huang Lee arrived from China, survived an attempt on his life, and then set out to find out what really happened while trying to make his way to Liberty City.

With a hip-hop and electro-rich soundtrack, plus rich references to past games in the series (like the return of gun store Ammunation in the form of a website), Chinatown Wars is a great way to spend some time while waiting for the sixth official chapter. But there are a couple of things before you dive in.

It is strange to recommend the technically inferior version of a game, but in this case, I think the Nintendo DS version of GTA Chinatown Wars is what makes the game worth playing, not only because of the overall cel-shaded look in the cutscenes (which makes this one stand out from the classic 3D era of GTA), but also for the touchscreen controls.

Using a screwdriver to steal a car
Image via MobyGames

While the top screen shows the current action and information on what you have to do, the touchscreen is where the real action takes place. By swiping up and down on the touchscreen, you could change radio stations, select things on your PDA, re-route the directions on your GPS, and even throw Molotov cocktails and grenades.

If you want to play one extra Grand Theft Auto title outside of the main series, make it Chinatown Wars on the Nintendo DS -- though it might be hard to get today. Will video games get cooler than being able to whistle down a taxi just by blowing into the DS's microphone? I honestly don't think so.

Taiga from Basketball:Zero dunking a ball

In Basketball: Zero, Zones are powerful auras that grant players unique abilities, shaping their playstyle and strategy on the court. From better shooting accuracy to unmatched speed, each Zone offers a distinct advantage that can turn the tide of a game. Mastering these abilities is the key to outplaying opponents and securing victory, so make sure to follow along to our Basketball: Zero Zone tier list and guide.

Basketball: Zero Zone Tier List

Basketball Zero Zone Tier List

Sadly, not all Zones in Basketball: Zero were created equal. Street Dribbler has the most offensive power, Limitless has the most precision, and Lockdown has the best defense. Despite what the tier list might suggest, none of these Zones are bad. Each has a use and unique powers that help you win the game.

Basketball: Zero Zone List

Below is a complete and detailed Basketball: Zero Zone list, where we will cover strong and weak points and discern which one might be the best for you.

Zone Rarity Ability Pros & Cons
Street Dribbler Zone from Basketball Zero 0.5% • You get decreased cooldown on your Steal and get boosted defense abilities. + Best offensive Zone.
+ For players that want to win the game alone.
+ Best speed in the game.
+ Best stealing in the game.
Quick Draw Zone from Basketball Zero 2% • You release your shot faster, and your ball travels faster. You get improved aim assist. + Best ball speed in the game.
+ Improved aim assist.
+ Much faster ball release.

- No movement speed bonus.

Limitless Zone from Basketball Zero 2% • Drastically increases aim assist and allows you to shoot from much further away. + Best Zone for shooters.
+ Best aim assist in the game.

- No movement speed bonus.

Lockdown Zone from Basketball Zero 35% • You get decreased cooldown on your Steal and get boosted defense abilities. + Great for defense.
+ Best for Stealing balls.

- No movement speed bonus.
- No unique abilities.

Sprinter Zone from Basketball Zero 62.5% • Run slightly faster with and without the ball. + Increased speed.

- No unique abilities.
- No increased precision.

If you want to win games consistently without relying on your team, we recommend making an attempt at getting Street Dribbler. It is the best offensive Zone in the game and allows for some truly high-level plays that could turn the game in your favor. Each Zone is good in its own way, so you have to read carefully and find the best one for your playstyle.

How to Reroll Zones in Basketball: Zero

To get and reroll a Zone in Basketball: Zero, you simply need to navigate to the Zones button on the bottom of the main screen. Once you click there, you will enter the Zones window, where you can click the Spin button. By spinning, you will reroll the current Zone you have equipped. Spinning usually costs $2000, but you get a few spins for free when you start the game.

And that is all for our Basketball: Zero Zone tier list and guide. Check out our Roblox page for more related articles.

Lilith in One Piece

Fans of the One Piece anime have been waiting for the anime's return for months now. While there's still a bit more waiting to go, it won't be for long. After all, the One Piece anime will be resuming with the Egghead Arc this April.

The anime started its six-month hiatus in October last year, citing a need to recharge as the reason. However, fans weren't left hanging. During the break, the well-received One Piece Fan Letter special and a remastered version of the Fishman Island Arc was aired in the anime's usual time slot.

The upcoming return

Unlike the momentous 3D/2Y change in the franchise, the anime will follow the original plan. It will resume airing the Egghead Arc on April 6. Furthermore, Crunchyroll confirmed that the platform will be simulcasting the return in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Latin America. All previous episodes are also available to stream on the platform.

IGN also released the English-subbed teaser trailer for the anime's upcoming return, giving us a glimpse of what the recharged production team will deliver. Furthermore, we will be hearing Subaru Kimura as Franky for the first time as the series resumes.

About the Egghead Arc

Egghead Island is unlike any location the Straw Hat Pirates have visited before. Dubbed the "Island of the Future," it is home to the genius scientist Dr. Vegapunk and his many creations. The arc promises thrilling encounters as the crew navigates a technologically advanced world filled with new allies and dangerous enemies.

One of the central plotlines of the Egghead Arc is the revelation of crucial information regarding the Void Century — the mysterious past that the World Government has long tried to suppress. Additionally, the arc finally reveals the power the enigmatic Five Elders hold.

EA FC 25 FUT Birthday poster

With the launch of Team 2 cards, we have a fair idea about all the available FUT Birthday players in EA FC 25, and there are some fantastic cards.

The FUT Birthday promo is a celebration of Ultimate Team, which turns 16 this year. To celebrate the occasion, EA Sports has released some fantastic cards and some that are not so nice. All things considered, here's my tier list grading all the cards based on how they perform in the current meta.

To rank the cards, I have used four grades.

  • S-tier cards include players at the top of the current meta.
  • A-tier cards include players close to the top but not there.
  • B-tier cards contain players who are average at best.
  • C-tier cards are best avoidable in the current meta.

  • Nico Williams - Amazing card if you're good with spring boots.
  • Ruben Dias - Physical specimen who can win the ball quickly.

EA FC 25 FUT Birthday A-tier list

  • Julian Alvarez - He is in the A-tier due to the playstyle+.
  • Kerr - Lethal in front of goal with Finesse and Low Driven.

  • Swanson - Very good budget option for the LW position.
  • Alaba - Defensively strong item that's better suited as a LB.
  • Salma Paralluelo - Versatile item than can shine in different positions.
  • Alejandro Garnacho - The only negative of this card is the Acrobatic+ playstyle.
  • Alexander-Arnold - Good playstyles and in-game stats.

EA FC 25 FUT Birthday B-tier list

There's not much to write about the cards in the B and C-tiers. The only significant difference is the in-game stats and playstyles, which at least make the B-tier cards somewhat useable.

King Beetle Alpha Armor set in Monster Hunter Wilds

The King Beetle Alpha armor set is one of the most powerful pieces of equipment you can get in Monster Hunter Wilds, and it has the potential to become part of your endgame build.

This specific armor set has five different pieces, so finding them all can take some time. However, the correct materials can be used to craft all the items, and this guide will help you with the process.

How to craft King Beetle Alpha armor set parts in Monster Hunter Wilds

This specific armor is hidden until you find a particular item required to produce the parts. You'll need three different ingredients to craft the parts, and all of them can be farmed using different methods.

  • 5x Vespoid Carapace: This item requires you to eliminate five High Rank Vespoids. To do so, speak with Alma and start the Vespoids Capriccio side quest. Repeat the process till you have all five to craft your set.
  • 5x Monster Broth: This item can be collected from Nerscylla hatchlings, which can be found within the Ice Shard Cliffs.
  • 5x Great Hornfly: This is the secret item that unlocks the set, and you can find it from either Musharpeye or Gawdydog. This item is harder to find because the trader's inventory rotates periodically. Hence, you'll have to check the available items if you don't see Great Hornfly on the first attempt. The traders can be found at the Wudwud Hideout in Scarlet Forest.

You'll need one item of each type to craft the individual pieces (more information about them is in the following table). Besides the ingredients, forging the armor parts will also require 20,000 Zenny (full set).

Armor Part Skills
King Beetle Vertex Alpha Sleep Resistance 1
Heroics 1
Foray 1
King Beetle Thorax Alpha Paralysis Resistance 1
Heroics 1
Foray 1
King Beetle Brachia Alpha Poison Resistance 1
Heroics 1
Foray 1
King Beetle Elytra Alpha Paralysis Resistance 1
Heroics 1
Flayer 1
King Beetle Crura Alpha Poison Resistance 1
Heroics 1
Flayer 1

This is an extremely good armor set to craft if you're struggling with the apex predators inside the game. If you're looking for an alternative, the Suja Sash Armor is highly recommended and something you can craft in Monster Hunter Wilds.

An image of Starseed: Asnia Trigger tier list

Starseed: Asnia Trigger is the latest addition to the world of gacha titles, and the opening months have seen the introduction of some really interesting characters.

As with any gacha, you'll want to focus on getting a strong start, and that means selecting units that are relatively overpowered in the early days. Doing so will help you clear out all the content quicker and earn more rewards in the process. During the opening week, I felt that the overall balance of the characters was decent, but some of them clearly stood out.

Disclaimer: Tier list to be rearranged soon with new characters being tested.

Starseed: Asnia Trigger tier list

To rank the characters, I have used four different tiers. While the SSR units are clearly better, you shouldn't sleep on some of the more commonly available girls as well.

  • S-tier: Absolutely broken units in the current meta.
  • A-tier: Great units that are bound to remain viable for a long time.
  • B-tier: Ok units, but you should look to replace them as you get better characters.
  • C-tier: Underpowered units that should be replaced as soon as possible.

Starseed: Asnia Trigger S-tier characters

  • Eradica
  • Elina
  • Freyja
  • Hallona
  • Itus
  • Kaito Aile
  • Leila
  • Rayhou
  • Rachel
  • Sia
  • Yuna

Starseed: Asnia Trigger A-tier characters

  • Ambrosia
  • Angelica
  • Erica
  • Eulgiya
  • Fei
  • iD
  • Kaito.aile
  • Lilian
  • Leila
  • Mea
  • Patricia
  • Snowfrill
  • Shale

Starseed: Asnia Trigger B-tier characters

  • Airen
  • Belita
  • Fei
  • Hellen
  • Isabella
  • Serapulsar
  • Taina
  • Valencia

Starseed: Asnia Trigger C-tier characters

  • Arcels
  • Archphase
  • Belebeta
  • Crimson
  • Daria
  • Eiko
  • Ino
  • Iras
  • Melissa
  • Perrel
  • Renas

Please note that this tier list will undergo changes based on future patches and events coming to the game. Additionally, new characters are likely to be more powerful than most of the existing girls, so that's another point to remember.

Compared to traditional gachas, getting characters in Starseed: Asnia Trigger is pretty easy, but you'll have to focus on getting dupes in order to power them up.
