Project Triangle Strategy – Who Is Its Composer Akira Senju?
Project Triangle Strategy (tentative name) has a surprising choice for its music composer, Akira Senju. You might know him if you're an anime fan, and his name might bring back some memories for Fullmetal Alchemist fans.
Nintendo and Square Enix revealed Project Triangle Strategy on the Nintendo Direct February 2021, a brand new tactical RPG coming to Switch in 2022. A demo was launched as soon as the Nintendo Direct ended as well. Just try out the game yourself right now if you'd like to know more about its gameplay and characters. We'll be focusing here on Triangle Strategy's development and staff.
Tomoya Asano at Square Enix is the producer of Project Triangle Strategy. He's also the producer of Bravely Default and Octopath Traveler. This is why Project Triangle Strategy has the same HD-2D graphics as Octopath Traveler. However, all three games are developed by different teams, contracted by Square Enix.
Project Triangle Strategy is developed by studio Artdink, who developed Macross 30: The Voice that Connects the Galaxy and Sword Art Online Lost Song. Artdink is also working on the Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World remake. Lastly, Artdink is also known for A-Train. A railroad management simulation series. The series is celebrating its 35th anniversary with the latest entry, A-Train de Ikō Hajimaru Kankō Keikaku, releasing on Switch in Japan on March 12, 2021.
However, what caught our attention and the biggest shocker with the reveal of Triangle Strategy is how the game's composer is Akira Senju. A long time veteran of the music industry in Japan, but who rarely ever scored for anime or games. Akira Senju is more used to handling OSTs of drama series and movies.
Project Triangle Strategy might be the first time Akira Senju ever worked on a video game.
As for anime, Akira Senju scored the OST of Victory Gundam in 1993. He also scored the B'T X anime, the 2004 version of Tetsujin 28-go, and Valvrave the Liberator. All good mecha anime you should watch. And last but not least, Akira Senju was the composer of the 2009 FMA anime adaptation, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. The last time Akira Senju composed for an anime series was baseball anime Battery in 2016.
Another thing to note is how Akira Senju is one of the directors of the JASRAC. Overall, he's one of the most important personalities of the musical industry in Japan. It's interesting to see Square Enix asking him to compose for a game, and it's exciting to think how it'll turn out.
Project Triangle Strategy Announcement Trailer (English, Japanese)
Personally speaking, while I enjoyed the battle system of Octopath Traveler, I found the game incredibly lacking in its story parts and dungeon design, if we could even call it that. As such, I'm a bit skeptical towards Asano's projects. With that said, I hope Project Triangle Strategy on Switch in 2022 will be a pleasant surprise. And the surprising choice of Akira Senju for the OST is a step in the right direction.

Hades Player Beats the Game Solely by Using a Pomegranate Controller
I don't know about you, but playing Hades with a regular controller is hard enough. How about trying to beat the entire game using chopped-up pomegranates? Supergiant Games' Greek-themed roguelike title involves running around fighting many enemies that's certainly not slow-paced and where you find yourself button mashing the hell out of your keyboard or switch joy-cons.
Pomegranates in Hades do have a purpose due to allowing the player to collect them as power-ups while also serving a purpose in Greek mythology, too. One Twitch streamer decided to wire up some of these tasty poms to create an actual useable controller for the game.
Streamer Dylan "Rudeism" Beck cut up a pomegranate into little pieces and placed his self-made controller on a tea towel to stop pomegranate juice from leaking all over the place. To allow the pomegranates to be used as a controller, Beck wired up the pom pieces to a circuit board and then another wire from the board to his arm to create an interactive loop process. After many failed attempts to beat the final boss, Beck finally did it in a heart-stopping final victory. You can check out the video of the entire process below.
This isn't Beck's first time trying out different types of controllers for games, previously he took on Fall Guys by using some jelly beans, playing Apex Legends with the aid of a mannequin leg, and Overwatch with a bunch of bananas. Make sure you check out his YouTube channel where you can watch all of his brilliantly fun and unique take on playing games.
Just like Zagreus' quest to reach the surface and get past the underworld, we here at DualShockers couldn't escape from Hades and named it as our Game of the Year for 2020. If you haven't had a chance to pick it up, Hades is available now on Nintendo Switch and PC. You can also check out our review of the game right here.

Valheim Bridge Guide – How to build a bridge over water
Valheim, Iron Gate's latest survival-RPG, has managed to amass millions of players just within a few weeks of launch. The game's expansive open world is filled with rivers and other water bodies, which makes it quite difficult to traverse the terrain. To make things easier, players can construct bridges. Just like some other structures in the game, building bridges over water bodies is a bit tricky. Here is all you need to know about building bridges in Valheim.
Valheim Bridge Building Guide – How to build a bridge over water
Like we mentioned earlier, bridges are quite important in the game to travel across water bodies. Ideally, you should be well aware of the surrounding terrain during the building process. That's why it's recommended that you build a bridge during the day. This will not only help you in seeing under the water clearly but will also give you a better view of the surroundings.
Before you start building the bridge, you need to make sure that you have a workbench on either side of the water body. Having enough workbenches help you in gathering the materials for the bridge more easily. Apart from that, you also need to ensure that the ground underneath the water is leveled. You can level the ground by using a hoe.
Once you have the workbenches ready and the ground leveled, you can start off by laying down the stairs to the bridge. You can place two stairs side by side to make the bride even wider. After that, start off by laying down the floor of the bridge. While laying down the floor, you will notice that some of them turn red. This means that it requires some support. This where things get a bit tricky.
You need to add pillars in the areas where the floor is red. While adding pillars in the starting part of the bridge is quite easy, you might face difficulties in doing so in areas where the water is deep. The best way to build a bridge over water is by using a hoe to raise the ground underneath. Raising the ground allows you to add pillars easily, which is otherwise not possible since your character can't build while swimming. If you don't wish to do that, you can try standing on the very edge of the bridge and adding pillars to the floor panels. This requires a lot of precision and considering that the game's snapping mechanic isn't the best, you might have a hard time building a bridge this way.
That's all you need to know about building a bridge in Valheim. If you need help with some other aspect of the game, you can check out our other guides on Valheim below:
- Valheim Artisan Table
- Valheim Lox Cape
- Valheim Base Building
- Valheim Mining Guide

Valheim is now available on PC via Steam Early Acess.

Skyrim Fan Gets an "Arrow in the Knee" Tattoo on Leg, Paying Homage to the Iconic Meme
Almost everyone who plays video games has heard of the funny one-liner "arrow to the knee" which turned into a meme after it claimed popularity a week after Skyrim launched. One of the first places it was seen was on GameFAQ's in 2011 where user Aggrobiscuit mentions the short one-line audio clip spoken by an NPC guard where he states "I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took an arrow to the knee".
Who knows why this line took off like it did, making it one of the biggest memes of all time – next to Portal's "The cake is a lie". Either way, one brave soul loved the meme so much, they thought that tattooing an arrow on their knee was the greatest homage to the line.
Reddit user asaru9 has posted a picture of the tattoo for all to see and to be honest – it looks harrowing. The arrow tattoo slices through the knucklebone of the leg to create the illusion of getting pierced by a foe like in Skyrim but how it sits would indicate that it was self-inflicted and not due to some epic adventure so, with that in mind, it kind of loses the coolness effect for me. It's still a brilliant tattoo and a great tribute to the humorous one-liner from the random guard that we all know and love. And let's be honest, we've all seen much worse.
During the inauguration this year, Bernie Sanders was almost a bigger hit than Joe Biden becoming president. Turning up in his mask, mittens and casual wear, Sanders became a hit and was even modded into Skyrim and Resident Evil 7. For those who never got the chance to play Skyrim before, the popular game came to Xbox's Gamepass last year allowing players to experience it for free.

Pokemon Shining Fates – The Best, Rarest and Most Expensive Cards
The most recent Pokemon Trading Card Game expansion has just released to the world. The Shining Fates set contains more than 190 different cards, including 100 Pokemon in their shiny forms. This has made the set incredibly sought after, as fans and collectors alike look to find their favourite shiny Pokemon. Unfortunately, this has also made the set very hard to come by. But whether you're a collector or are just interested, here's a very good look at the best, rarest and most expensive cards in the Shining Fates set.
Shining Fates Best Cards
This area is a little subjective. I've judged the cards on a few areas here – how good they are in the meta, how good they look and how cool the shiny Pokemon is. This is all my opinion, but hopefully you'll agree.
5/ Shiny Corviknight
This card is nice. Shiny Corviknight isn't the brightest or flashiest variation, but its darker hues really fit the theme. Coupled with some decent moves, I like this card.
4/ Shiny Grimmsnarl
Grimmsnarl is a weird Pokemon. He doesn't look much like a Pocket Monster but is equally quite cool. His shiny form makes him really stand out and this is a nice looking card!
3/ Shiny Obstagoon
If you want to talk about Pokemon whose shiny forms are vastly different. Look no further than the Galarian Zigzagoon line. Rather than their typical black and white, they sport a vibrant blue and pink colour and look awesome for it.
2/ Shiny Ditto
It's Ditto but it's blue. Say no more.
1/ Shiny Charizard VMax
It couldn't be anything else really could it? This card is fantastic – you can definitely expect it to pop up again.
Shining Fates Most Expensive Cards
So, this is just an early indication as the set hasn't been live for too long but here are Shining Fates' most expensive cards so far.
6/5/4/ Ditto VMax, Suicune and Lapras VMax
There's a three-way tie for the opening position on this list and while there are three cards here, it'll take 2 places on the list. Ditto, Suicune and Lapras cards have all sold for around the £50 mark ($70)
3/ Skyla Full Art Trainer
The first Non-Pokemon card in this whole list! The Skyla card is very nice looking and it's no wonder it's selling for around £90 ($125).
2/ Eternatus VMax
We're now getting close to the big money in number one, but before that, we have Eternatus VMax. This card has sold auctions on eBay for £100 ($140).
1/ Shiny Charizard VMax
You guessed it. This card is already insanely expensive. Auctions are finishing around £400 ($560) -£1000 ($1400) on eBay in the UK, however, one card has already sold for £1900 ($2663) already!!
Where can I buy the cards?
Unfortunately, the Shining Fates set seems to be out of stock everywhere – that's both in the UK and US. Keep your eyes peeled as hopefully The Pokemon Company sorts out a restock soon.

Elden Ring Age Rating Could Be a Hint at a Possible New Trailer
In a few months, it's going to be almost two years since the announcement of Elden Ring, and there's still no official information or trailer from the game since the first teaser that went live at E3 2019. Over the past few months, there have been several rumors about an upcoming Elden Ring trailer, but none turn out to be true. That being said, the latest Elden Ring age rating on the Bandai Namco's official webpage, could be a trustworthy hint at a possible upcoming trailer.
As reported by Gaming Route, the official Asia branch of Bandai Namco's webpage has recently uploaded a provisional PEGI 16 rating for Elden Ring, which is also visible on the Europe branch of the publisher's website. Although this is still provisional and Elden Ring doesn't have an official page on PEGI yet, this could mean a trailer is on the way.
Usually, video game trailers feature a final or provisional age rating mark from either PEGI or ESRB to indicate which ranges of gamers are allowed to play the game in Europe or North America. With the Elden Ring age rating indicator from the PEGI system available on the title's publisher's page, this could mean that the game might receive a new trailer soon, before getting its final rating indicator from the PEGI system.
The games usually receive their final age rating indicator when the development process is at the final stages. In the case of Elden Ring, a provisional indicator probably means that the game is still somewhere in the middle of the development process.
Elden Ring is supposed to be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. However, it will likely be confirmed for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S as soon as a new trailer comes out. No signs of a Nintendo Switch version yet.

Diablo 2 Resurrected Multiplayer – PvP and Trading Will Remain Unchanged
Last night, Blizzard shared some interesting info during BlizzCon 2021 about its upcoming, anticipated projects such as Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2, but that wasn't the all about the show. A surprising Diablo 2 Resurrected announcement was probably the best moment of the event for the old-school fans of the Diablo franchise, who would love to return to the old days with their modern platforms. Aside from the main announcement, Blizzard shared some upcoming changes to the Diablo 2 Resurrected multiplayer mode as well.
According to the developers, the team behind the remastered version of Diablo 2 are trying their best to bring the same old experience when it comes to the gameplay. However, there are some inevitable changes coming to the Resurrected versions that will remove some of annoying issues of the original game and ease the player's interaction with the game.
With the Diablo 2 Resurrected multiplayer mode using global servers, you will be allowed to use duplicated names which will be identified by the Battle dot net IDs or gamer-tags. Also, thanks to the modern Battle dot net features, you will no longer need to refresh your characters and they will stay with you all the time. Moving to the global servers will increase the matchmaking speed and help players from all around the world to play together.
The game will still feature eight-player PvP multiplayer with Trading options available same as before. The developers confirmed that they don't want to bring something new to the experience beyond what the original version used to offer. So, the maximum level will still be 99, but the ladder seasons will be reduced from six months to a lower period.
Diablo 2 Resurrected will be available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC later this year. The game will feature cross progression between PC and consoles.
