     Best graphics card 2025

What is the best graphics card? Looking out for a new gaming GPU can mean wading through a swamp of often baffling sets of numbers in specs lists, as well as weighing up the pros and cons of the different feature sets from Nvidia, AMD, and Intel. That's where we're ready to help you out, as we're not only genuine PC hardware enthusiasts who know our stream processors from our stream decks, but we're also gamers.

Your choice of GPU will have a bigger impact on your gaming experience than any other PC component and by a long, long way. Yes, it's always worth making sure you have the best gaming CPU in your system, as well as the best gaming RAM you can afford, but it's the mighty graphics card that really commands the power in your gaming rig, so you need to make sure you nail this choice.

Your GPU is the primary driving force behind the frame rate in your games, and it also determines the resolution and graphics settings you'll be able to use, including ray tracing, and some GPUs are much better at handling these settings than others. There are also features that are exclusive to Nvidia GeForce and AMD Radeon GPUs, such as Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR, which also need to be considered.

We've tested all the graphics cards listed in this guide in a number of different games ourselves, so we can say authoritatively which GPU you should buy for your needs, and why. The situation has quickly changed with the release of Nvidia's new RTX 5000 GPUs in January 2025 as well, with the new RTX 5090 now the undisputed king of the graphics card world, if you can afford (or find) it, and the new RTX 5080 offering decent 4K gaming performance for a much cheaper price, thanks to is support for DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Gen..

The new AMD RDNA 4 GPU lineup is also now out in the wild, with the fantastic new Radeon RX 9070 XT bringing support for AMD FSR 4, which finally brings hardware AI to the company's upscaling tech, and looks great. The Radeon RX 9070 is out now as well, with both new AMD GPUs taking aim at the RTX 5070 for mid-range supremacy.

We're also expecting new budget GPUs, such as the RTX 5060 and Radeon RX 9060, to appear in the next few weeks as well. In the meantime, these graphics cards are your best options to buy for gaming right now, with prices starting at just $249.99 for a great 1080p card, and going all the way up to the mammoth Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 if you want to play games at 4K with all the eye candy enabled.

Where to buy 5070 Ti - Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti stock for March 10

Looking for where to buy the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU? Well, we have some good news as we're updating this guide daily with links to retailers around the world, so you can find out where the new mid-range graphics card is in stock, or at least find where there are pre-order or notification options in place.

The Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti is the mid-tier card in the company's new RTX 5000 series GPU lineup. While the RTX 5070 is your entry into the series, and the RTX 5090 is the range-topper, the RTX 5070 Ti is the best graphics card choice in Nvidia's mid-range selection, thanks to its 16GB of VRAM.

A notable aspect of the RTX 5070 Ti is that Nvidia isn't producing its own Founders Edition card. As such, there isn't an MSRP for that exact card. However, the guide price for stock-speed cards is $749 / $749 CAD / £729 / AU$1,109. These cards are manufactured by the likes of Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, Palit, PNY, and Zotac. The RTX 5070 Ti release date was February 20, 2025, although stock sold out quickly after the launch.

A bunch of playtester footage for the next, modern-day-set Battlefield game has slipped past EA's non-disclosure agreements and erupted all over social media. The footage stems from the company's Battlefield Labs community testing program, and consists of multiple consecutive minutes of burly shootyfolks running down alleyways through showers of grit, firing very briefly at enemy troopers, and getting themselves bullet-bonked back to the lobby screen.

EA had been taking the videos down, but have seemingly now decided to let them roll. It's the kind of tactical withdrawal in the face of overwhelming numbers that seldom occurs to me when I play Battlefield, because I always play Battlefield in the character of a movie extra. I am here to cultivate the ambience for other players by prancing around yodelling "INCOMING", not contribute to our victory.

Alta used to be a champion fighter. Now, she can't even lift her sword. After she collapses in the forest, a kindly teashop owner called Boro invites her to join him. Maybe a spell of cozy gardening, cleaning, and making tea for customers will help her feel better? But it's only an offer. You can go back into the forest at any time.

Obviously, I tried to leave. Firstly because I know how to accurately roleplay a stressed, overly devoted burnout who puts all their value in their vocation. And secondly because, come on. This game was written by Davey Wreden, the creator of The Stanley Parable. There's got to be some kind of secret to ignoring the clear invitation of the game, right?

Monster Hunter Wilds has a new update that makes copious little and large changes to the popular animal-hitting sim. As often with PC game patch notes, the changelog is a balance of mealy fare such as fixes for broken weapons, and moments of absurdity, such as addressing a problem whereby you'd hack the tail off an Ajarakan only for it to transform into another monster's appendage. Also, you'll no longer be able to cheese the Gore Magala by somehow dropping a dozen boulders on it simultaneously.

Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune And Dunan Unification Wars is an unwieldy subtitle for a pair of comfy and often cheerful RPGs, but it's one you could easily see on the slipcover for a thick slab of historical fiction.

It scans. Suikoden is never so striking as when military drums sound up beneath sweet singsong flutes. When farmers and teachers and fishermen throw down rakes and books and rods to take up arms for the chance to someday farm and fish and teach again.

One of my favourite things in the entire world is the brash poetry inherent in the word 'skyscraper', and the many writing and language lessons gleaned from considering how utterly mundane that word actually feels to use. This week, the Cities: Skylines community join me in the "probably thinking too much about skyscrapers" club. Paradox's city builder has turned ten.

To celebrate, they've constructed a towering roadmap of freebies for it and Cities: Skylines 2, including new radio stations, new content, and a free-to-play Steam event for the original running March 20-24.

One of my Foundational Video Games is Mazeworld, an elder Apple Macintosh first-personifier in which you explore a Carollian landscape of blue-walled darkness and rainbow-shelled snails. I was a young slip of a boy when Mazeworld released, and prone to daymares about crocodiles floating through the ceiling. Imagine my reaction to a game in which you are immediately confronted by a slathering, bodiless Cheshire Cat, its face a grinning smear that is only visible when it's charging right at you.

I'm always looking for games that similarly hide themselves, throwing you into a chasm of occult potentiality from which anything might emerge, given the appropriate rites. Games like Nix Umbra, Death Of A Wish and now Nothing Beyond This Point, a topdown metroidvania in which you are a flaming cube surrounded by floating rods, dropped into a pixelart-scuffed void. RPS reader Mr_B recommended it in our last weekend plays thread, and I couldn't resist trying the demo.

Cover is working on the first Hololive mobile rhythm game with project code Dreams

Cover revealed during the Hololive 6th Fes concert that it is working on the first-ever official Hololive mobile rhythm game. It is currently known by the project code Dreams, and the company plans to release the game simultaneously worldwide. However, there will be a few regional exceptions, though we don't know what those are yet.

Nothing much else was announced during the reveal. However, Cover added a major clue that this mobile game will let players "enjoy Hololive songs." That line makes this mobile game very likely to become a rhythm game featuring original songs performed by the group's Japanese, Indonesian, and English Vtubers.

The official teaser trailer is available to watch right below:

https://twitter.com/hololivetv/status/1898716902232612971

Cover also published a new Holo no Grafitti episode that covered the new mobile game announcement on YouTube. However, this video mostly contains the group Vtubers' own predictions about the game.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCuvClLuidM

Original songs performed by Hololive Vtubers have frequently been added to other established rhythm games, such as Taito's Groove Coaster and Konami's Jubeat and Sound Voltex. Dreams will thus be the first game to have an exclusive focus on Hololive Vtuber songs.

The official Hololive rhythm game for mobile devices is still under development with the project code Dreams. Cover will reveal more details about the mobile game, including its full title and worldwide release window, at a later time.

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Anime Will Stream on Crunchyroll

Crunchyroll confirmed it will be the streaming home of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, an anime spin-off of the main manga and anime series. We already knew it would debut in April 2025, but now that's been pinned down to April 7, 2025. As usual, these will be simulcasts out of Japan, so only Japanese audio with English subtitles will be available when it first debuts. The original anime adaptation and two movies based on the series are already streaming on the service.

To go along with the reveal, there is a new trailer for My Hero Academia: Vigilantes that shows off the main characters in the new anime. You do need to turn on closed captions for the English translation. It starts by introducing Koichi "Nice Guy" Haimawari, the hero of the series and head vigilante. He meets Iwao "Knuckleduster" Oguro, a vigilante who takes him under his wing. Also in their group is Kazuho "Pop Star" Haneyama. The footage of them trying to be heroes in their own way is interspersed with moments in their college life. We also see their main opponent and goal to help wipe out a drug that enhances Quirks and makes people into villains.

Here's the full trailer. Toward the halfway mark, we get to hear the Kocchi no Kento theme song "Kekka Orai."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84F2-8QExiY

The new key art also appeared, which shows the three lead characters and other prominent figures in the show. Here's how that looks:

As for Japanese voice actors, here's who is part of the cast. Many performers are reprising their roles from the original My Hero Academia anime adaptation.

  • All Might: Kenta Miyake
  • Eraser Head: Junichi Suwabe
  • Ingenium: Masamichi Kitada
  • Knuckleduster: Yasuhiro Mamiya
  • Koichi Haimawari: Shuichiro Umeda
  • Midnight: Akeno Watanabe
  • Pop Step: Ikumi Hasegawa
  • Present Mic: Hiroyuki Yoshino

The My Hero Academia: Vigilantes anime will be streaming on Crunchyroll starting on April 7, 2025. The original series and its movies are also on that service. Viz Media handles the manga and other spin-off books outside Japan.

New Hololive Vtuber Nendoroids Include Fuwamoco Fuwawa mococo

During Hololive Super Expo 2025 and Hololive 6th Fes, Good Smile Company shared its Vtuber Nendoroids, including the Fuwamoco figures of Fuwawa and Mococo Abyssgard. These are in various stages of development, and some appeared as painted prototypes. This means we could see pre-orders for a few appear in the next few weeks.

The Hololive Vtuber Nendoroids furthest along are ones in the casual clothes line. Concept art for these first debuted in March 2024 at last year's Hololive Super Expo. Pre-orders for the Houshou Marine Office Lady version that is part of this line already opened ahead of its September 2025 debut. The Usada Pekora and Oozora Subaru ones also appeared as painted prototypes at the event, so those pre-orders will likely open soon. However, the Shirakami Fubuki and Sakura Miko ones are still in the unpainted prototype phase, so they won't likely appear until perhaps 2026.

Here's how all of those look so far:

As for the Hololive English Vtuber Nendoroids, there are some from the Promise group and the first two Fuwamoco Fuwawa and Mococo Advent figures. In the case of Promise, Ceres Fauna is absent as she graduated in 2024. However, the unpainted prototypes of Hakos Baelz, IRyS, Nanashi Mumei, and Ouro Kronii are all there. The Fuwamoco ones also showed up as unpainted prototypes.

Here's how all six of those are coming along:

Good Smile Company's released multiple Hololive figures of people from the English and Japanese. It's also released ones for other companies like Nijisanji and VShojo, in addition to indie performers.

There are no release windows for any of the Hololive Super Expo 2025 and Hololive 6th Fes Vtuber Nendoroids, though it's likely the new Usada Pekora and Oozora Subaru figures will be the next to release.

Silent Hill 2 Remake Art Portfolio

Konami has released an extensive concept art portfolio for the Silent Hill 2 remake, showing off the work of Bloober Team's artists. It is publicly available through the game's official website. This is available worldwide, and there's no language barrier when it comes to looking through the designs that shaped the game.

The new art portfolio shows off a wide variety of work for the Silent Hill 2 remake from people like members of Bloober Team's roster. It's separated by individual artists, organized alphabetically by their names. This also helps separate the types of art available. The work created by the concept artists shows off the early vision of the remake. Meanwhile, character and asset artists' pieces show off detailed images of in-game models.

For instance, the art portfolio of lead character artist Pablo Poliakov shows off detailed images of James Sunderland, Pyramid Head, and a nurse. Elsewhere, the work of asset artists such as Jan Kasperczyk and Aleksandra Zajac show off models of various in-game items such as the Great Knife or the hospital puzzle box. The work of concept artists like Aneta Bielas and Michal Salata show detailed sketches of how the team wanted the Silent Hill 2 remake looked early on.

It's not the first time Konami has shown off artwork for the Silent Hill 2 remake. The Collector's Edition of the game came with a digital artbook. That also contained concept artwork that helped shape the design of the title. However, this art portfolio has made much of this artwork available for a wider audience. It also helps with preservation efforts, since by sharing it online we have greater access to it even if something were to happen to the digital artbook due to storefront issues.

The Silent Hill 2 remake is out now for the PS5 and PC worldwide.

Fate stay night Saber 1-4 scale statue by Prime 1 Studio

Prime 1 Studio opened global pre-orders for its new 1/4 scale figure based on Saber from Fate/stay night. This figure will be part of both the Prisma Wing and Ultimate Premium Masterline series, and the studio will ship the finished packages in mid-2026.

The figure will be available in two different versions. The Regular Version will cost $999, and the more complete and expensive Ultimate Bonus Version will be available with a higher price tag of $1,299. However, buyers will also have to consider the shipping costs, among other factors, when deciding which one to buy. Those residing in the US can choose between Economy Shipping, which takes around 1-3 months at $131, or Standard Shipping, which costs more at $392. However, picking standard shipping means it will arrive much faster in a few weeks.

The Regular Version will simply feature an armored Saber holding her Excalibur sword on the ground without any alternate parts. The Ultimate Bonus Version will add swappable parts for the head, body, and weapon. The latter will also allow the owner to remove Saber's armor plates and change the Excalibur sword to emulate its Noble Phantasm activation. However, Prime 1 Studio will only produce 500 copies of the Ultimate version.

The new figure will feature the Servant character based on her appearance in Fate/stay night, which originally appeared as a PC visual novel. Type-Moon has since remastered the title and released it for not only PC but also Nintendo Switch, with additional English and Simplified Chinese subtitle support besides Japanese.

Prime 1 Studio will ship the 1/4 scale figures of the Fate/stay night Saber between June 2026 and September 2026. The remastered version of the Fate/stay Night game is now available worldwide on the Switch, PS4, and PC.

Super Mario Bros 3 Nintendo Music

Nintendo added the Super Mario Bros 3 game soundtrack to the Nintendo Music app. Like all the other soundtracks available for the mobile jukebox application, accessing it requires a Nintendo Switch Online account.

The Nintendo Music app features 42 songs from the Super Mario Bros 3 soundtrack, all presented in their original chiptune style. As a NES title, it's one of the shorter soundtracks at only 30 minutes, as most of these tracks are short jingles such as the level clear theme. However, certain tracks can be extended, if the 30 minutes isn't enough.

Nintendo has also grouped these tracks into shorter playlists, to make it easier to listen to specific songs you might like. If we choose the Top Tracks list, that will remove most of the short jingles and leave behind just the main level and world map themes. A playlist called Mushroom World condenses this further into just the songs that appeared on maps.

Nintendo launched the Nintendo Music app in October 2024. It allows Nintendo Switch Online subscribers to listen to a collection of music from various Nintendo games. It launched with the likes of Metroid Prime, Donkey Kong Country and Splatoon 3, but more soundtracks have been added over time. Since launch, games such as Splatoon 2, Pokemon Legends Arceus and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword have all been added. Super Mario Bros 3 is the latest update to the service. Age doesn't matter, as we've seen soundtracks from games ranging from NES releases to ones that made their debut on the Switch.

Super Mario Bros 3 originally released for the Famicom in Japan 1988, followed by a release in North America for the NES in 1990. It can currently be played as part of the Nintendo Switch Online service. Its soundtrack is now available on Nintendo Music.

Petit Holo Village is a new Hololive game inspired by Animal Crossing

Holo Indie revealed a new game titled Puchi Holo no Mura or Petit Holo Village at Hololive Super Expo 2025. The game's development team has also opened a social media account that also acts as the primary source for its updates. This new Hololive game will play similarly to Animal Crossing, and it will be available on PCs around the end of 2025.

The first trailer for the new Hololive game shows a number of ways the game resemblances Animal Crossing. Players will control chibi avatars based on Hololive Vtubers as they gather materials to decorate their houses. However, they can not only farm crops, chop trees, or mine rocks, as the characters can also use weapons to beat other creatures.

The first few playable characters revealed in the game include Usada Pekora, Houshou Marine, Inugami Korone, Nekomata Okayu, AZKi, and Murasaki Shion. As a reminder, Shion just announced earlier in March 2025 that she will graduate on April 26, 2025. The game will feature not only Japanese Vtubers from the group, as the trailer also revealed Hololive English's Gawr Gura. The game's official X account profile also noted that it will have English language support in addition to Japanese.

The reveal trailer for Petit Holo Village is also available to watch via holo Indie's YouTube channel. It highlights the multiplayer possibilities too:

Petit Holo Village will be available for PC via Steam around the end of 2025.

One Piece Egghead Arc New English Dub and Simulcast Episodes Dated anime

Crunchyroll announced that there will be an array of new One Piece Egghead arc anime episodes, with English dub ones appearing ahead of new simulcast installments out of Japan. The new dubbed debut is March 18, 2025. However, more totally new episodes show up on April 6, 2025.

In the case of the English One Piece Egghead arc dub releases, it basically finishes up season 21 of the anime. Last Crunchyroll left off, it stopped at episode 1,108. The new drop picks up at 1,109. That will carry over to episode 1,122, which was the last episode of that season.

As for the new episodes, that picks up right where things left off. Episode 1,123 of the One Piece Egghead Arc will debut on April 6, 2025. This means it will be a part of the Spring 2025 anime season when it arrives.

In the meantime, there will also be some additional anime adaptations to watch. The specials 14, 15, and 16 will all appear on March 18, 2025.

This means there's one arc that isn't in the anime yet. While we're getting through the Egghead arc of One Piece, none of Elbaph showed up. However, that only did start in September 2024, so it might be a while before that shows up.

You can find the anime on Crunchyroll and Netflix, and Viz Media handles the manga outside of Japan. The live-action adaptation is only on Netflix

Seven-star Skeledirge Tera Raids are currently available in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, and will continue to run until Thursday, March 13, 2025. If you want to catch the powerful generation nine Fire-type starter for yourself, here's the best Pokémon to counter the Skeledirge Tera Raid.

Skeledirge the Unrivaled

Skeledirge Tera Raid in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Screenshot by Siliconera

There are two aspects that make Skeledirge so dangerous and difficult to take down. It's already a strong Special Attacker, but it can quickly boost this by using Torch Song. This can quickly snowball, meaning Skeledirge will be able to grab one-hit knockouts before you are able to retaliate. The other difficult point is the ability Unaware, which ignores your stat boosts. This means you will need to lower Skeledirge's defensive stats, and prevent it from boosting its offensive stats.

Skeledirge's base stats and Rash nature mean that it's best to enter this battle with a Special Attacker. While you can't boost your stats, you can lower Skeledirge's stats, so you'll want a Special Defense lowering move like Acid Spray, Metal Sound, or Fake Tears. Skeledirge has a lot of sound-based moves as part of its set. Disarming Voice, Hyper Voice, and Torch Song, are all blocked by things like Throat Chop, and Soundproof.

Here are all the details you need for the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Skeledirge Tera Raid event.

  • Level 100
  • Nature: Rash (+SpAttack -SpDef)
  • Ability: Unaware
  • Tera type: Fire
  • Moves: Torch Song, Shadow Ball, Stomping Tantrum, Hyper Voice

Skeledirge opens with Disarming Voice, and Flame Charge. It resets player stats at 80% time remaining and then puts up the shield. At 50% health remaining Skeledirge resets its stats and status, and uses Flame Charge again.

Malamar – Best support for Skeledirge Tera Raid

Malamar using Skill Swap during the Skeledirge Tera Raid in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Screenshot by Siliconera

Malamar can not take out Skeledirge the Unrivaled by itself, but it is one of the strongest support Pokémon for this Tera Raid. Contrary will drop Skeledirge's Special Attack instead of raising it when it uses Torch Song, and you can give it this ability with Skill Swap. Make sure you then swap Unaware onto one of your NPC teammates so you can take advantage of the lowered Special Attack.

Throat Chop can also prevent Torch Song (as well as Hyper Voice) while Normal Tera prevents Shadow Ball from hitting. This means that Skeledirge can only hit with the Physical move Stomping Tantrum. Malamar can not only give your team longevity, but it can boost Water-type Special Attackers, like Primarina or Tentacruel, with Rain Dance, and help any partner out with Helping Hand.

Here's the set we recommend for the seven-star Skeledirge Tera Raid:

  • Level 100
  • Nature: Careful (+SpDef -SpAttack)
  • EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpDef / 4 Attack
  • Ability: Contrary
  • Tera type: Normal
  • Item: Leftovers
  • Moves: Rain Dance, Throat Chop, Skill Swap, Helping Hand

Tentacruel – Best for Attack and Support in Skeledirge Tera Raid

Tentacreul terastylizing to Water-type during the Skeledirge Tera Raid in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Screenshot by Siliconera

If you're looking for a Pokémon that can take on the Skeledirge raid solo, Tentacruel can do it, but it also works well as a team player. While Unaware ignores your stat boosts, it won't ignore its stat drops, meaning that Acid Spray is the perfect support for lowering Skeledirge's Special Defense. Tentacruel has naturally high Special Defense, and Throat Chop disables most of its moves including the terrifying Torch Song. Players should use Throat Chop on the first turn, and use it again every third turn after this.

If playing in a team of Special Attackers, Acid Spray will lower Special Defense even when Skeledirge raises the shield. Rain Dance will both boost Tentacruel's damage with Surf, and lower the damage of any Fire-type moves that Skeledirge uses. It might take a few attempts to clear the raid solo with Tentacruel, but it is definitely possible.

  • Level 100
  • Nature: Calm (+SpDef -Attack)
  • EVs: 252 SpAttack / 252 SpDef / 4 HP
  • Ability: Rain Dish
  • Tera type: Water
  • Item: Shell Bell
  • Moves:  Acid Spray, Rain Dance, Surf, Throat Chop

Kommo-o – Best for Solo Skeledirge Tera Raid

Kommo-o terastylizing to Normal-type during the Skeledirge Tera Raid in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Screenshot by Siliconera

If you want an easier time taking on the Skeledirge raid solo, then Kommo-o has the perfect mix of ability and movepool to take Skeledirge down. While Torch Song won't affect Kommo-o thanks to its ability Soundproof blocking all sound-based moves, it can still boost Skeledirge's Special Attack for Shadow Ball. This is why you want to start the raid with a few Throat Chops so you can terastylize to Normal-type, avoiding almost all of Skeledirge's damage.

Metal Sound can lower Skeledirge's Special Defense, however, it won't work while the shield is up. Despite this, Normal Tera with Boomburst deals enough damage to get the barrier down fast enough so you can soften Skeledirge up with Metal Sound for future Boombursts.

  • Level 100
  • Nature: Calm (+SpDef -Attack)
  • EVs: 252 SpAttack / 252 SpDef / 4 HP
  • Ability: Soundproof
  • Tera type: Normal
  • Item: Shell Bell
  • Moves:  Throat Chop, Boomburst, Metal Sound, Substitute

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are both available for Nintendo Switch.

Gakuen Idolmaster 11th idol Sena Juo already included in PC version launch in March 2025

Bandai Namco will launch the PC version of Hatsuboshi Gakuen: The Idolmaster much earlier than its previous announcement. The company has revealed that it will release the port of the game that first appeared on mobile devices to PC on March 18, 2025. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

Bandai Namco first revealed the official PC port of Gakuen Idolmaster during a live stream in December 2024. In the roadmap explaining the company's plans to prepare for the title's first anniversary, it placed the PC port on the slot for the anniversary month in May 2025, along with the addition of Misuzu Hataya as the 12th playable idol.

The company then opened the PC port's official site in February 2024. The webpage reveals that the PC version will appear via DMM Games, and it also opened pre-registrations for the free-to-play game, although it does not list a release window.

The upcoming PC release will let players enjoy the gameplay and performance stages with eleven playable idols and screen resolutions up to 4K. The original mobile versions proved to be a hit in Japan, as both the iOS and Android versions brought the game to top the mobile game download rankings in the country within a month after its release in May 2024. Google Japan also gave the Best Game of 2024 award to Gakuen Idolmaster in November 2024.

The PC version of Hatsuboshi Gakuen: The Idolmaster will launch via DMM Games in Japan on March 18, 2025. The game is immediately available on iOS and Android mobile devices in Japan.

Hatsune Miku Gundam Crossover Figures Teased

Megahouse teased two new Hatsune Miku x Gundam collaboration Lucrea figures inspired by the anime franchise. These are being created for the 45th anniversary of the Bandai Namco series. So far, the company has only shown the two key visuals for the figures, and there is no release date in sight.

While Bandai Namco and Megahouse have yet to offer a release window, the official website estimates that pre-orders will open sometime in 2025. The first of the two figures is inspired by the Wing Gundam Zero mech from the Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz film. The key visual shows Hatsune Miku wearing a white military uniform with white wings that combines Mobile Suit motifs with the image of an orchestra conductor. The illustration was created by Japanese artist neco.

Meanwhile, the second figure is inspired by the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 anime. The illustration shows Miku sitting on top of a pile of TVs showing the logos of the Celestial Being, the Advanced European Union, and the Union of Solar Energy and Free Nations from the Gundam 00 series. The TVs are sitting on a bed of flowers and Miku is holding a Haro robot that uses her color scheme. Artist Ixy was responsible for this design.

You can take a look at the key visuals for the figures here:

As a reminder, Good Smile Company recently announced a special Nendoroid to celebrate the 100th release of Hatsune Miku Nendoroid figures throughout the years.

Two new Hatsune Miku x Gundam Lucrea figures are currently in development. More information will appear in the future, and pre-orders will open sometime in 2025.

New Lego Mario Kart Set Costs $170

Nintendo and Lego announced that there is a new Lego Mario Kart set on the way, and it will cost $169.99. It will race into stores c, and it will be a worldwide release as both the US and European social media accounts showed it off. Pre-orders are already open via Lego's official storefront.

Here's the trailer that highlights how the kit will look from different angles:

https://twitter.com/NintendoAmerica/status/1899083988142092785

This set will consist of 1,972 pieces. It is recommended for people ages 18 and up, due to its complexity. It can be displayed on its own or on a stand that we can build. It is also an articulated kit. Once finished, we can adjust the positioning of Mario's head and arms. Once finished, it'll be over eight inches tall and over a foot long.

The official site also noted two promotional gifts. However, they do have expiration dates. You get a Pit Crew Toad set if you pre-order before March 11, 2025. The other gift is a Ferrari 499P Hypercar set, but that offer is only in effect until March 12, 2025.

We've seen lots of Nintendo Lego sets over the years, including some Mario Kart ones. Some are based on consoles, like the upcoming Game Boy set. Of course, there are also the many sets based on the Animal Crossing series, which let you create your own village.

The Lego Mario Kart set will launch on May 15, 2025. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is available on the Nintendo Switch now. A new Mario Kart game will appear on the Switch 2 console.

EA FC 25 Dejan Kulusevski FUT Birthday card

The FUT Birthday Cup is now live in EA FC 25, and it offers everyone a chance to get Dejan Kulusevski's promo item for free of cost.

The cup is part of the ongoing FUT Birthday promo, and you can complete all the tasks to earn some amazing rewards. This list includes a set of fodder packs, and all of it can be obtained for free of cost.

EA FC 25 FUT Birthday Cup rewards and tasks

The FUT Birthday Cup has a total of five tasks, and Kulusevski is part of the group reward.

Task How to Complete Rewards
Win 2 Win 2 matches in the Live Ultimate Team Friendly: FUT Birthday Cup. 82+ x7 Rare Gold Players Pack
Assist 6 Assist 6 goals in the Live Ultimate Team Friendly: FUT Birthday Cup. 83+ x5 Rare Gold Players Pack
Play 6 Play 6 matches in the Live Ultimate Team Friendly: FUT Birthday Cup. 84+ x5 Rare Gold Players Pack
Play 10 Play 10 matches in the Live Ultimate Team Friendly: FUT Birthday Cup. 86+ x2 Rare Gold Players Pack
Win 12 Win 12 matches in the Live Ultimate Team Friendly: FUT Birthday Cup to earn a Trickster PlayStyle and +1 WF Upgrade. Applicable to player items 88 OVR Max. Trickster and Weak Foot Upgrade

For a free card, there's not much to complaint. The new 89-rated Kulusevski item could certainly have been better, as Relentless+ is practically useless on it. Additionally, he also lacks good Pace (87) and Shooting (86), both of which requires a boost. Like all FUT Birthday cards, he offers 5* Skills and 5* Weak Foot. But the card certainly could have had better stats and playstyles.

There are some terrific items currently available in Ultimate Team. Make sure to check out our guide to complete them with the fodder you have in your club.

GTA VI official artwork

As we all wait patiently in the GTA 6 waiting room, some players are coming up with wild theories that might sound good at first but are pretty easy to see through for more experienced fans.

GTA 6 is set to release in Fall 2025, meaning sometime between September 22 and December 21 with Rockstar's release history hinting at when preorders could go live.

With no official gameplay details yet, we have no idea what systems will be added, removed, or changed compared to GTA 5. That hasn't stopped players from dreaming up ideas while waiting for a second trailer or an official gameplay reveal.

The idea of a more "realistic" weapon system in GTA 6

An idea that has returned recently in the GTA 6 community is a more realistic approach to weapon inventory. Since the start, GTA has always let players carry multiple weapons without any visible storage—your character can hold a pistol, a minigun, and everything in between, switching between them instantly like a personal cloud armory.

Some players are now suggesting that GTA 6 should follow a system more like Red Dead Redemption 2, where characters can only carry a limited number of weapons at a time—maybe a pistol and one or two larger weapons, plus an explosive if they have a backpack. Other weapons would need to be stored in a truck or car trunk. If a player needed to switch weapons mid-mission, they'd have to physically go back to their car, swap guns, and then continue.

https://www.reddit.com/r/GTA6/comments/1j825pm/comment/mh1nl61/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

While that might sound appealing to fans of more realistic gameplay—especially as many recent games lean toward realism—it would obviously be one of the worst possible ideas for online gameplay, assuming GTA 6 continues the online experience.

Why a realistic inventory could ruin GTA 6 online

Imagine this realistic inventory, and that you've stored your best weapons in your car, and another player comes along and blows it up. Now, you're stuck with whatever weapons you were holding, and everything else is gone.

Of course, one way to fix this would be if GTA 6 automatically restores a player's weapons when they retrieve their car from insurance. But even then, it would completely change how GTA Online is played. It would likely lead to players going around the map blowing up cars just to troll others and leave them empty handed for a while.

Personally, I don't like this idea because part of GTA's magic is its exaggerated realism. The fun of the series comes from the chaos—massive explosions, running over cars with trucks, and switching weapons on the go without worrying about how big they are. Adding this kind of realism would be a huge change, and I doubt many fans would welcome it. I wouldn't.

While this is just a wild suggestion from some fans looking for something different, it's unclear whether Rockstar will make major changes to core gameplay features. We'll likely have to wait for a second trailer, a gameplay reveal, or another major update as we get closer to GTA 6's Fall 2025 release window.

Guardian Ebony Armor in MH Wilds

The Guardian Ebony Plates come up frequently for several weapon and armor recipes. We're here to show you how to farm this material in Monster Hunter Wilds.

Where to find Guardian Ebony Plates in MH Wilds

You can get Guardian Ebony Plates through the following methods:

  • Participate in Optional Quests
  • Battle the Guardian Ebony Odogaron in the Ruins of Wyveria
  • Trade with Ren in Sild or the Village Intermediary

Sometimes, you can find the Guardian Ebony Odogaron while in the wilds. Check your Environment Overview while in the Ruins of Wyveria to see if the creature is lingering about. If you've reached the endgame and can no longer access this area, ensure to progress through the endgame to return to Wyveria once more. However, since the Guardian Ebony Odogaron spawn rate can be chancy, you can opt for the Optional Quests or Item Trades instead.

Guardian Ebony Ododragon in Wyveria
Screenshot by Destructoid

All quests with Guardian Ebony Plate drops in MH Wilds

You'll encounter the Guardian Ebony Odogaron during the main campaign, starting with a Low-Rank quest. All you need to do is hunt down the beast, and you may gain the Guardian Ebony Plate as a Quest Reward. Here's a list of missions that have Guardian Ebony Plates:

  • Red Eyes in the Night
  • White Walls
  • Purrfect Plundering
  • The Struggle to Survive

If you want more of a challenge, you can progress to Monster Hunter Wilds' postgame and face off against this enemy in the High-Rank quests.

How to get Guardian Ebony Plates through Item Trades

To avoid a battle altogether, you can use Item Trades to exchange goods for the Guardian Ebony Plates. Speak to Ren in Wyveria or Nata at the Base Camp to see if they have these particular plates available. You can also use the Farm, also known as Material Retrieval, to gain valuables for these trades.

Talking to Nata about Item Trades
Screenshot by Destructoid

Keep in mind that the Guardian Ebony Plates don't always show up, as the Item Trades inventory changes daily. If you don't see it, you can rest until the following day to hopefully trigger its appearance.

All Guardian Ebony Odogaron weaknesses

Eliminate the Guardian Ebony Odogaron quickly using these weaknesses and advantages:

  • Weakest Points: Tail and Foreleg
  • Recommended Elemental Attack: Water
  • Effective Status Effects:

    • Poison: Moderately effective
    • Sleep: Moderately effective
    • Paralysis: Highly effective
    • Blastblight: Moderately effective
    • Stun: Moderately effective

  • Effective Items:

    • Flash Pod
    • Shock Trap
    • Pitfall Trap

The Guardian Ebony Odogaron is relatively weak to all traps except for the Sonic Bomb. You should also avoid using the Exhaust Status Effect, considering that it won't damage this beast much. Use Paralysis attacks instead to immobilize this monster.

Apart from its weak points in the tail and foreleg, you can break its tail tip, head, and hind legs. That way, you'll increase the chances of a Guardian Ebony Plate drop in Monster Hunter Wilds.

Xbox logo for server status page

According to a report by Windows Central, Xbox appears to be targeting a 2027 release date for the successor to the Xbox Series X|S. Alongside the new "premium successor", Xbox also plans to launch its own Xbox gaming handheld as well as several new controller options.

Time sure flies when you're having fun, but here's a friendly reminder that the Xbox Series X|S will turn 5 later this year. Historically, console generations have lasted 5-7 years, although Sony has said before that they expect the PlayStation 5 to last a decade or more.

In the report, Xbox plans to continue releasing console-exclusive games onto other platforms, like the PlayStation, while still servicing its own Xbox audience with new hardware in the coming months and years. This starts with a codename "Keenan", an apparent PC gaming handheld being developed by a third-party OEM but will be very much Xbox-branded both in name and design. Think similar to the ASUS ROG Ally but running on Windows OS with full Microsoft Store and PC Game Pass support. The handheld device is expected to release later in 2025.

As for the new console, Windows Central indicates that the next-gen systems will be closer to Windows than ever before, with the goal of streamlining the process for devs to port them from PC. Despite the change in dev philosophy, the new consoles will also support backwards compatibility with legacy Xbox games, which has recently become a bigger focus at Xbox.

The new controllers being designed in tandem with the new console and handheld will also have direct-to-cloud connectivity, allowing players to easily swap between different devices using their controller, helping make the Xbox/PC ecosystem even more aligned and streamlined for players.

It's still too early to know the exact specs and pricing of all this new hardware, but with the handheld reportedly coming later this year, I imagine we'll be hearing some official news about it in the very near future.

Combat in Assassin's Creed Shadows

Assassin's Creed Shadows releases on March 20 with two unique protagonists, Naoe and Yasuke.

They have different playstyles, and you can switch between the characters at any time. If you prefer an aggressive, all-out combat approach, Yasuke is the way to go. He can wear heavy armor, land powerful melee hits, and demolish enemies head-on without worrying about hiding. Just charge forward and win.

But Naoe is perfect for stealth, eliminating enemies them from cover, and completing missions without ever being seen. If you love the thrill of completing the perfect Assassin's Creed objective—where no one notices your kills or the bodies left behind—Naoe is the ideal choice.

While both Yasuke and Naoe can take on the opposite roles—meaning you can play stealthily with Yasuke or fight in open combat with Naoe—choosing between them may come down to which one best suits the quest or your preferred playstyle.

For players who want to experience both characters without running into decision fatigue, an Assassin's Creed fan came up with a creative way to decide when to switch.

Play Yasuke during the day and Naoe at night in AC Shadows

A player in the Assassin's Creed community shared a simple yet great idea—playing Yasuke during the day and Naoe at night.

The idea seems brilliant because it also fits their playstyles. Stealth with Naoe is much easier at night, while daytime combat provides better visibility, making it easier to track enemies in open fights. Fighting at night could make it harder to spot archers or keep track of enemies, while going stealth during the day makes it easier for enemies to detect you.

https://www.reddit.com/r/AssassinsCreedShadows/comments/1j7v5dn/anyone_else_only_going_to_play_naoe_at_night_and/

Since Assassin's Creed Shadows isn't out yet and nobody knows whether this is a good idea, this is just a fun way to add an extra challenge and create a more immersive experience when the game launches.

Or do the opposite for an AC Shadows hard mode

For those looking for a tougher experience, you could reverse the idea—use Yasuke for combat at night, where limited visibility makes fighting larger groups harder, and play Naoe for stealth during the day, when enemies are more likely to spot you in hiding.

Or if maybe try stealth with Yasuke during the day and open combat with Naoe at night?

Either way, you won't have to wait long to try out both characters. Assassin's Creed Shadows launches on March 20, so check out our game release time guide by region and platform. The game goes live at different times depending on your location and system, with some regions set to experience up to an 18-hour gap between platforms.

EA FC 25 Title Update patch 10 notes

The Title Update 10 patch notes for EA FC 25 is now available, and the latest changelog includes some massive changes which could significantly affect the current meta.

For starters, we are getting an all new PlayStyle in the form of Low Driven Shot. This shooting playstyle could have a huge effect on how we typically try to finish shots in the current meta. But that's not all, as the latest patch includes gameplay changes and more.

Complete EA FC 25 Title Update 10 patch notes

Gameplay

Made the following changes:

  • Added Low Driven Shot Playstyle and PlayStyle+.
  • This Playstyle affects shots taken with a short press of the shooting input and it has the following effects on those shots:
  • Significantly shot increased accuracy.
  • Moderately increased ball travel speed.
  • Moderately increased how quickly players can perform the requested shot.
  • The Low Driven Shot PlayStyle+ has the same effects as above, but they're tuned to be more effective.
  • Moderately reduced accuracy of fully powered Precision Lob Passes.
  • Significantly increased the accuracy of clearance headers.
  • The CPU AI is now more likely to take more shots and from further distance if the opportunity to do so arises.

Addressed the following issues:

  • Sometimes, CPU AI shots could have been less accurate than intended in situations where the shot taker wasn't being pressed.
  • This issue was more prominent on Professional and World Class difficulties.
  • In some specific situations, AI defenders did not press the ball carrier as intended.
  • This mainly occurred during potential offside scenarios, with the AI defender over prioritizing the offside line instead of attempting to press an offensive threat.
  • Sometimes, incorrect goalkeeper save animations could have occurred when the keeper was trying to save tight angle near post shots.

-Improved situations where AI defenders were sometimes not positioning themselves as intended during heading scenarios.

  • In rare cases, a Skill Move animation may not have occurred as responsively as intended.

Ultimate Team

Addressed the following issues:

  • Entering Rush training in Learn to Play could have caused Squad Battles to launch in an incorrect state.
  • In some situations, the FC Points tab in the Store could have been slow to navigate.

  • Reduced the size of the task list.
  • Added Upcoming fixtures and Standings to the screen.

Addressed the following issues:

  • A stability issue could have occurred after starting a new season.
  • When negotiating the transfer fee for a player while managing a Premier League club, the currently selected number on the offer screen would be invisible.
  • When viewing a player on the Global Transfer Network, Playstyle+ traits for scouted players would show last.
  • Sometimes, incorrect teams could appear in UWCL matches.

General, Audio, and Visual

Made the following changes:

  • Added the new Classic XI and to Kick Off and Online Friendlies.
  • Added Canada's Women's National Team to Kick Off, Online Friendlies, and Online Seasons.

Addressed the following issues:

  • AI sliders did not always correctly display in the match pause menu, this was a visual issue only.
  • Addressed instances of incorrect text appearing and UI clashes.
  • Addressed instances of stability issues that could have occurred.

It will be interesting to find out which current strikers receive the new playstyle+. Once the update is live, you'll have to download the latest version to enjoy all the changes.

Phasmophobia: a dark exterior shot of the new Bleasdale Farmhouse map.

Phasmophobia has gone through many changes since it was released back in 2020. While the core gameplay elements are still there, Kinetic Games has stayed true to what made its ghost-hunting title such a hit in the indie horror scene.

As of right now, update 0.12.0.1 has started to roll out, which not only brings a few tweaks to the game but also introduces the first of two major reworks for some of Phasmo's legacy maps. In this case, we get a brand-new version of Bleasdale Farmhouse, the rickety abode that has us investigating spirits in the spooky countryside.

So, being a long-time fan of the game, I've been excited to check out the new update. With that, I thought I'd do an overview of what's changed in Bleasdale. You can check out the patch notes, but for your delectation, here's a quick guide to the revamped map.

Something old, something new

Phasmophobia: Bleasdale Farm entryway.
Screenshot via Destructoid

Phasmophobia's Bleasdale Farmhouse location is well known for its old wooden aesthetic. However, before you even enter the map, you'll immediately notice the difference. For starters, the outside has been given something of a modern facelift. It's still all for the wood theme, but with some new panels and a lick of white paint, that rickety look has been given the old heave-ho.

This is, without question, a veritable overhaul of the entire location, not just a few simple changes. This continues once we go inside and are greeted by the entryway. Again, there'll be something familiar about it, but it's changed just enough to give you pause for thought.

The general layout is still intact, with the large living space in the room beyond and the L-shaped stairs to the right, but the under-the-stairs nook is now a cupboard door and the office to the left is now a sitting room that loops around to the other parts of the house, including a storage area.

Phasmophobia: the living room at Bleasdale Farmhouse, showing the new grand piano.
Screenshot via Destructoid

Are you getting manor vibes from this? Because I certainly am. We've definitely shifted away from the more rustic vision of Bleasdale Farmhouse, with something that suggests the family that lives here has come into a considerable sum of money recently.

The piano in the living room is still there, though it's been moved to the other side, while also being upgraded to something more grand, rather than the more "plinky-plonky" tavern-style piano of the old farmhouse.

The downstairs overall feels like it's been revamped in a way that suggests freshness, but still hints at the map that was here before. For example: the kitchen and dining area are in the same place, except they're now separate rooms (albeit still side-by-side). It feels like it's been closed off, perhaps suggesting an air of privacy for whoever's cooking the meals.

Phasmophobia: the now-separate kitchen and dining area in Bleasdale Farmhouse.
Screenshot via Destructoid

The upstairs has also seen some major reworks. The first thing I noticed was the bathroom at the top of the stairs, or lack thereof. While it's not actually gone, it's now accessible via the master bedroom a bit further down the hall.

This room, too, has changed significantly. While maintaining its size, it's been divided into two sections. One side houses an impressive four-poster bed, while the other has a modest screen and a tailor's mannequinn dummy, because that inspires confidence in any ghost hunter who's slightly on edge.

The bathroom is off to the right, next to a massive walk-in closet. Nothing says affluence like racks of suits in a room the size of a double garage. Then there's the trophy room. Yes, a trophy room. Taking the place of the utility area, there's now a space for the occupants of Bleasdale Farmhouse to display trinkets befitting a neocolonial warlord.

Phasmophibia: the new trophy room in Bleasdale Farmhouse.
Screenshot via Destructoid

But hark! Where are the stairs to the attic? In the old house, they were at the end of the corridor, just before one of the bedrooms (which is now a fancy office). Despair not, however. They are still there, but they've been moved further along, behind its own door.

The stairs themselves now look like less of a trip hazard and take us up into the brand-new attic space. If you remember the attic from before, you'll know that it was quite an intimidating area. Its sheer size always induced an acceptable degree of dread as players would collectively hope that the ghost wasn't in this room.

Now, while it still counts for a large chunk of the upstairs region, Kinetic Games has added a lot more clutter to soak up some of that size. It's still a big room, but it feels less so now that it's occupied by more stuff. Additionally, there's a spare bed in a side room, which has been separated by a beaded curtain.

Phasmophoia: the new, more cluttered attic space in Bleasdale Farmhouse, showing the beaded curtain off to the left.
Screenshot via Destructoid

Those are some of the major changes to Bleasdale Farmhouse. Honestly, there's a lot more that can be said about what the developer has reworked, but it definitely feels like something that would benefit from a walkthrough yourself.

At any rate, it's an impressive revamp of one of the game's legacy maps. Thanks to the recent Phasmophobia roadmap, we do know that Grafton Farmhouse will be getting similar treatment at some point, along with a new small map.

Until then, I'll be looking at this weird occult table and trying to work out what it does...

Rootbound

Inventory management is crucial for any adventure, and it's a task that might be best suited to a sentient backpack. There aren't many games that offer such an essential ally, but the newly revealed Rootbound looks to provide a beautifully realized take on the concept.

Rootbound comes from a German studio called Brainlag Games, which was established in 2024 and has former devs from Piranha Bytes among its roster. As the trailer notes, the minds behind this one previously worked on games like Gothic, Risen, and Flex. If the first look is any indication, they have something special in the works in this stylish physics-based outing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-n_GAzb7Gc

The environmental aesthetics alone remind me of a mix between A Short Hike and Tunic, with a dash of Death's Door sprinkled in for good measure. The setting is fittingly bleak, as our plantling hero ventures forth to uncover the secrets behind the island of Akara and a civilization long since forgotten.

As for that backpack, its mighty tongue wagging from its pouch, it does more than just hold your items and equipment. It serves as a silent companion and can toss you the items you need as long as it's in the mood. With sentience comes risk, though, as enemies can notice the backpack and focus their attacks on it.

All the while, a blight runs amok throughout the land, spreading its misery through rain that you'll need to avoid. Torches and campfires provide a brief reprieve, and it all looks like it could swirl together to create a unique mood. Rootbound is currently planned for a 2026 launch on PC via Steam.

Death Stranding 2 is one of the major upcoming PlayStation exclusives

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach officially releases on June 26, exclusively for PlayStation 5.

Now that we've finally seen more of Hideo Kojima's second Death Stranding title, we also know that, for now, it will remain a PlayStation exclusive. Just like the original Death Stranding, which launched on November 8, 2019 and only came to PC on July 14, 2020, Death Stranding 2 will be locked to PS5 for the foreseeable future.

Death Stranding 2 is not releasing on PC—at least not yet

There is no confirmed PC release date for Death Stranding 2, meaning the game won't be available on any platform outside PlayStation when it launched on June 26. Whether it's Steam, the Epic Games Store, or a standalone release, there's currently no sign of a PC version.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdzIwQhYABQ

The reason for this could be Kojima Productions' partnership with Sony, which initially made Death Stranding a PlayStation exclusive. Given how well Kojima's games perform, it's likely that the partnership was successful, leading to a renewed deal for Death Stranding 2. However, neither Sony nor Kojima Productions have officially confirmed whether this exclusivity is due to a contract or simply a studio decision to focus on PS5 first. Destructoid has reached out to Kojima Productions for comment.

The original Death Stranding took about 8 months to make the jump from PlayStation to PC. Based on that timeline, if Death Stranding 2 does eventually release on PC—which is not guaranteed—it wouldn't be expected until at least February 2026.

At least until then, and possibly until way later or even forever, only PS5 players will have access to Death Stranding 2.

Death Stranding 2 being a PS5 exclusive could drive console sales

There's no specific reason why Death Stranding 2 wouldn't come to PC, especially as a game from Hideo Kojima. In most cases, exclusivity comes down to contracts that provide benefits for both the studio and the platform. If Sony has secured exclusivity, it means they see Death Stranding 2 as a hardware seller—if enough players want to play the game, they may be more likely to buy a PS5.

This could be a strategic move for Sony, especially as the PS5 generation nears its later years. The release of the PS5 Pro last year also plays a role—some existing PS5 owners may upgrade to the Pro model to get better performance or enhanced visuals for Death Stranding 2.

In short, keeping Death Stranding 2 exclusive to PS5, even if only for a limited time, could help boost console sales for Sony. Death Stranding 2's pre-orders for its multiple editions are already live.

Magneto in Marvel Rivals

At the time of writing, Season 1 of Marvel Rivals is ongoing with 37 heroes in total. However, some fans believe that the playstyles of certain Marvel characters are not exactly lore-accurate.

Wolverine, Magneto, and Black Widow are some of the names that have caught the most attention among the community, as discussed in this post on X.

Wolverine tops the list, with several players claiming his "Auto Regen should be quicker." Several other fans agreed with the statement and chimed in their own thoughts, with one player echoing, "He should auto-regen and very quickly too."

In the comics, the mutant heals at an accelerated rate, which means his damaged cells and tissues get repaired in just a few seconds, and it gives him an edge in any sort of fight. Another player added that Wolverine could have a "tracking/wall climbing" ability as his Adamantium claws could allow that.

https://twitter.com/MRivalsMedia/status/1896976008450048400

Moving on to Magneto, one player thinks he's a "good character," but when it comes to executing his in-game abilities, it's been "horrible." Another chimed in, "Magneto should be able to at least hover to some degree," just like he does in the comics and movies.

"Magneto ultimate should let him lift enemies and slam them," said another.

On the other hand, one player feels that "Black Widow suffered THE MOST." "Her kit sucks cause all she has is a sniper, batons, and a kick. Home girl is trained to hold any kind of weapon, and all she got was a sniper." "Black Widow needs immediate rework," echoed another.

Some other notable mentions from the hero pool include Adam Warlock, Spider-Man, Hela, and the Hulk.

Among all the claims, a particular player said, "Every character is damn near perfect. They focused more on the original content (comics) than the movies. They just need to keep going all out."

"The lore changes every time a new fad comes around. All the characters are flawed but still fun to play. The constant tweaking and new characters are great," said another.

At the time of writing, it's difficult to say whether NetEase Games will bring all the requested changes to the characters mentioned above. Nevertheless, Marvel Rivals is a fun game to play, and with the arrival of the new limited-time Clone Rumble game mode, it'll get even more chaotic.

A Sim giving a tattoo in The Sims 4

One of the biggest and most exciting additions to The Sims 4 with the Businesses and Hobbies expansion pack is a whole new tattoo system. Not only can your sim now be inked from head to toe with custom art, but they can now become a tattooist themselves.

The Businesses and Hobbies pack came with a lot of new ink to put on your sim, but a lot of it is locked behind gameplay within the Create a Sim menu. Unless you want to use the CAS unlock cheat, you'll need to work through a whole career tattooing before you can unlock them all.

How to unlock new tattoos in The Sims 4: Businesses and Hobbies

There are three ways to unlock new tattoos in Businesses and Hobbies. By doing all of these things, you'll be able to unlock plenty of new ink for your Sims. However, none of this comes easy, so you'll need to be willing to put in the work:

  • Doing bad tattoos on other Sims
  • Increasing your Tattooing skill level
  • Sketching a tattoo design on the Digitalistic Sketchpad

Playing through a career in tattooing and increasing your skill level will unlock new designs, stamps, and stencils that can be used to create a truly unique work of art on your Sim's skin in The Sims 4

You're free to practice your designs on any willing test subject Sim for the cause, but they might not be happy with the results. Each bad tattoo is unlocked for the same body part on which you'll need to tattoo the other Sim.

arcane lineage gears tier list

Before [LIGHT AND DARK], you had to collect Accessories to power up your character. After this latest update, it's all about Gears. Despite the new system being simple, it takes some time to get used to. That's why I created the ultimate Arcane Lineage Gears tier list, equipped with info on how to get them and why you should farm them.

All Arcane Lineage Gears Ranked

arcane lineage gears tier list

In the Arcane Lineage Gear tier list above, you can see what you should focus on. Obviously, the emphasis is on the S Tier, with Dragon Memoir and Narthana's Leaf leading the charge. I'd also wouldn't scoff at A Tier Gears, but below there is true no man's land.

Nevertheless, this is still a subjective list and I still believe every Gear is good if you can find the right build for it. That's why you should first go through our Arcane Lineage class tier list to prep accordingly. So let's see what's all the fuss about and how to get all the gears in Arcane Lineage.

S-Tier Arcane Lineage Gears

arcane lineage gears tier list
Screenshot by Destructoid

While there aren't too many, these are the Gears you should be focusing on. They're far and away the best Arcane Lineage Gears and work well with almost every build you can imagine.

Name Stats Ranking Explanation How to Get
Dragon Memoir Your first strike inflicts 2 turns of Bleed and 1 stack of Fractured. Every other strike adds another stack of Fractured. Far and away the best and most versatile entry on this Arcane Lineage tier list. Any Physical build should prioritize this Gear, especially Impalers and Blade Dancers. Can be acquired after completing the Bone Quest, where you have to talk to an NPC in the Volcano area and find brightly colored bone fragments.
7-Leaf Everthistle Increases drop rate and gold acquisition by 1.85x The quintessential farming item, you should get it no matter your class. That 1.85x buff does wonders for all drops and gold, consequently accelerating leveling. Spawns in place of normal everthistles, but you'll need the Gathered Passive to get it.
Narthana's Leaf Lose 25% of your max HP and increase outgoing healing by 1.75x. Indispensable to any healer build. If you're rolling a Saint, prioritize snatching this Gear. Obtained from the red-haired NPC in Deeproot depths.
Spiked Steel Ball Grants a chance to deal 5% of the attack's total damage and apply 1 Vulnerable and 1 Weakness. Initially focused on multi-hits, this particular Gear can buff your single-hit damage, too. Any DPS build should aim for either this or Dragon Memoir. Drops from Desert Bandits.

A-Tier Arcane Lineage Gears

arcane lineage gears tier list
Screenshot by Destructoid

Now, I wouldn't devote too much of my time grinding for these A-tier Arcane Lineage Gears. However, they aren't to be disregarded. Each Gard in the table below is good for a niche use, a particular zone or a specific need.

Name Stats Ranking Explanation How to Get
Imperial Headband When your summons drop below 25% HP, you can detonate them, dealing damage to all targets with a chance to apply Stunned and Weakened for 2 turns. Essential to any summoner, Imperial Headband allows you to scale your summons' damage. Would recommend to any Necromancer main. Lava Crabs drop it.
Parasitic Leach Your teammates recover 2% of the damage you deal. If you're running a 5-stack of DPS characters and everyone (or at least 4/5) has this Gear, you can effectively burn through any boss without needing a healer. Seraphon is particularly easy with this setup. Random drop from Forest mobs.
Vainglorious Locket While equipped, you always act first and start each battle with a 30% damage boost that gradually decreases over time. Gives you an additional 30% damage buff that decreases as the encounter goes on. Not the best entry on our Arcane Lineage Gear tier list, but is essential for early and mid-game farming. Metroms Vessel drops it.
Ever-Beating Drums Quest to receive them is not yet in the game. Not yet added to the game, but it's expected to be yet another farming build Gear, with a focus on easier bosses and known farming zones (especially in the Desert). The quest to receive them is not yet in the game.
Cursed Brand Summons gain a skill that removes your status effects (buffs and debuffs), deals damage to them, and grants a 5% damage boost per removed stack. Might be hard to make use of properly. Gives your summons your stats effects, which can lead to some fun boosts if you're playing a build that relies on them. I docked it some points because it simply isn't all that versatile. Drops from random Deeproot mobs.
Traveler's Lamp Start each fight with 1 extra energy and inflict 3 Vulnerable on all enemies. Provides light outside of battle. With its application of Vulnerable and the energy boost, it's +2 effect is definitely usable before the endgame comes. I'd say I held onto it for too long and it still served me well. Drops from Cursed Corpses (Deeproot).
Sanguine Fang When hitting an enemy, there is a 25% chance to heal for 10% of the attack's damage. Had fun using this on my healer, so if you're running a Saint, this is definitely one to consider. Cess Horrors drop it (Deeproot).
Tear Blood Crystal Whenever you apply Bleed, gain a 5% increase in defense and crit chance for 5 turns. I've been able to solo Seraphon with my Impaler using this gear, and I hear even Blade Dancers will find it useful. The defense and crit boosts will serve any glass cannon build amazingly. Drops from the Impaler mini-boss.
Golem Rune Core Teaches you to summon a Sand Golem. One of my favorite Gears, but only useful to Summoners and can get less powerful if you get deeper into late-game content. Drops from Sand Golem.
Coagulated Fingernail At the start of each turn, your base stats increase by 2.5 points. A unique case on our Arcane Lineage Gears tier list, this one is only good against bosses, but is it really something to complain about? Spare a slot and have fun with it. Cursed Corpses (Deeproot) drop it.
Tainted Quiver Your first attack always applies Sundered, and subsequent attacks have a chance to drain the opponent's energy. Mainly improves your initial strike, but I have a feeling we're going to see a build or two that proves how truly busted it can be. Drops from Thorian.
Embuement Reliquary Your summons now inherit the effect of your current enchant. Imperial Headband at home, basically. Gives your summons your enchants, but sounds much better in theory than in practice. Drops from Seraphon.
Stone Brand Your summons learn Stone Skin, granting 60% damage reduction against most attacks. With its application of Vulnerable and the energy boost, its +2 effect is definitely usable before the endgame comes. I'd say I held onto it for too long and it still served me well. Drops from Sand Golems (Desert only).

B-Tier Arcane Lineage Gears

arcane lineage gears tier list
Screenshot by Destructoid

Unfortunately, most of the entries on our Arcane Lineage Gears tier list are just mid. Most of them are just fit for a class or two, while some are plain unremarkable or have better alternatives. Don't shoot the messenger, though.

Name Stats Ranking Explanation How to Get
Crystal Sphere Removes Crit Fatigue and increases Crit Chance by 5%. Crit Fatigue gradually reduces crit chance after landing a critical hit, stacking until an attack doesn't crit, which resets the chance to normal. This focus on crit is too RNG to be considered busted, or even feasible in the long-term. Most of the time, it equates to just being mid. Drops from Sand Elementals in the Desert.
Shard of Blight Gain a 15% defense boost and a 25% increase in dark elemental damage. Since it only boosts Dark Elemental damage, I would only recommend it to Berserker players. Venom Shrooms and Sentinel Darkness Units drop it (Deeproot).
Expedite Anklet Grants access to the "Godspeed" skill, significantly boosting speed scaling, providing a chance to gain energy when dodging, and preventing block decay while active. Also increases movement speed outside of battle. Might be useful if you're running a speed-focused Thief, but other than that, it suffers from chronic midness. Drops from Fog Spirits (Deeproot).
Band of Crushing Force Deal 25% more damage against blocking opponents and gain 15% defense while in the Desert. I had fun with it while cruising through Desert, but its focus on block and defense makes it unusable once you progress further. Drops from Sand Golems (Desert).
Aspect of Maladaptation Grants immunity to Fire stacks and heals for half the damage a Fire stack would have inflicted. Used to give you a straight-up damage buff before, but the devs nerfed it, so it's just mid now. Drops from Thorian.
Forest Charm You gain a 15% damage boost while in the forest and a 25% increase to all nature-elemental attacks Run it in the Forest if you've rolled a Ranger, otherwise it's pretty useless and unremarkable. Random drop from Forest mobs. Drop chance and mob list unknown.
Grain of Balance Reduce your highest invested stat by 25% and evenly distribute the amount across all other stats. If you read its effect at first, you'd think all your stats become equal to your max stat. In reality, your max stat value is divided by the number of your other stats and distributed evenly. Yay, I guess? Stray Sandstorm or Desert Bandit drop it, and both are in the Desert.
Yar'thul's Wrath Every 5 turns, gain a stack of Overheat, increasing damage by 8% and speed by 7.5%. Lose a stack of Overheat when hit by someone other than yourself. The boost to your damage and speed is S-tier, but the fact it can only be required by playing solo is D-tier. B-tier seems fair enough, right? Drops from Yar'thul.
Blazing Perforator Grants immunity to Fire stacks and heals for half the damage a Fire stack would have inflicted. It's not the worst option for farming, but it's a limited Gear and doesn't deserve a higher spot on this Arcane Lineage tier list. Drops from Yar'thul.
Ramizcan Idol Gain a 10% damage boost for one turn when blocking or parrying an attack. Paladin and Brawler players might rejoice, but I don't see the point in any class trying it out. Overall mid. Stray Sandstorms drop it (Desert).
Shattered Clock Hand When using Strike, there's a 30% chance to reduce the cooldown of all your moves by 1 turn. Shattered Mid Hand more like it. Jokes aside, the 30% chance of getting an extra term is SO INFURIATING. Why? Well, it's good enough that it's noticeable, but not good enough to make a build around it. Thanks, I hate it. Defeat the Thief found in the Forest to obtain it.
Vulcan Knuckle Gain a 15% boost to fire-elemental moves, a 15% defense increase while in the Volcano, and convert Strike's elemental typing to fire. Not a bad mix with Dragon Memoir, and I would say it can be good for Blade Dancer v Thorian, but otherwise, it's more decent than it initially appears. Lava Golems drop it (Volcano; drop chance unknown).
Blazing Brand When enemies attack your summons, they take minor damage and gain 3 stacks of Fire. Due to the recent DoT nerf, now it has another flaw other than being usable only by Summoners. Such an unfortunate victim of reckless updating. Presumably dropped by Lava Golems (Volcano).
Lethal Blackjack Applies a random buff or debuff to the user, with a small chance to remove 99% of your HP when used. Can have an S-tier effect or it can kill you, so I'd say this placement is perfectly fair. Received after winning against any Dealer/Gambler NPC.

C-Tier Arcane Lineage Gears

arcane lineage gears tier list c tier
Screenshot by Destructoid

Unless someone paid me, I wouldn't venture into this part of the Arcane Lineage Gears tier list. Each of these entries has one or more glaring flaws, with some not even making sense in the slightest. The devs got to troll too, I guess.

Name Stats Ranking Explanation How to Get
Dust Storm 10% chance to phase through an attack. The dodge chance isn't big enough to be noticeable. Good idea, bad execution on this Gear. Drops from Sand Elementals (Desert).
Molten Carapace Increases defense by 30% when below 40% HP. Might be useful for tankier builds, but the increased Defense when you're low could be implemented much better in different forms (higher HP regeneration, better blocking, etc.) Lava Golems drop it (Volcano).
Spore Root When you block or parry a physical attack, inflict 2 Poison and have a 30% chance to apply 2 Weakened. Brawlers and Paladins might find it useful, but I'm not too pleased with the fact it only applies Vulnerable and Poison. Obtained from Zombie Mushrooms located in the Forest.
Arbusta Tear Gives you Arbusta Fragrance, which has a 7T cooldown and lasts 4T. Increases the aggravation for 4T. Unless you're a Paladin player, carry on. Literally useless to anyone and everyone else. Random drop from Forest mobs. Drop chance and full list of mobs are still unknown.
Magma Charm Gain 10% resistance to fire attacks and a 15% increase in movement speed. Once again, if you're not playing a Thief, the speed buff is so minimal you'll barely feel it. Dropped by random mobs in Volcano.

D-Tier Arcane Lineage Gears

arcane lineage gears tier list d tier
Screenshot by Destructoid

Last and most certainly least, I'm not even sure why you'd want to know how to get Arcane Lineage gears in this tier, but here goes. Just don't say I didn't warn you.

Name Stats Ranking Explanation How to Get
Wicked Crown When worn, grants immunity to poison and reduces all DoT damage by 15%. There's a hidden passive, too, and converts all physical skills to dark-element damage. The Poison immunity is okay, but the DoT increase is literally useless, making this one of the worst entries on our Arcane Lineage Gear tier list. Found after defeating Cursed Corpses (Deeproot).
Biggest Pebble Throwing this rock in battle boosts your escape chance by 300%. Why would you need an increased Escape chance? Unless you're below level 10, there's no point in dodging encounters. Absolute meme item. If you have this Gear, you're trolling. Random drop from Forest mobs. Drop chance and mob list unknown.

Sheesh, that was a doozie, but we've finally reached the end of our ultimate Arcane Lineage Gears tier list. If you pick the right Gear, you'll not only level up and win encounters faster, but you'll also unlock all the races in Arcane Lineage with surgical efficiency.

Finding Nightflower Pollen in Monster Hunter Wilds

The Nightflower Pollen farm was a lifeline for Monster Hunter Wilds' grueling endgame grind, giving players a better shot at Gold Relic Ticket trades for Decorations and Relics. It made the grind a little less tedious — until the latest patch wiped out this once-reliable exploit.

Ever since the Hotfix Patch Ver.1.000.05.00 went out, players have noticed that the Nightflower Pollens aren't showing up as much despite using missions with the Full Moon requirement. I tried it out myself with quests like the Balahara's 'A Leviathan's Rage,' and the Nightflower Pollen never showed up.

Nightflower Pollen in MH Wilds
Screenshot by Destructoid

Although the new update's patch notes don't explicitly indicate a pollen farm nerf, one fix may hint at its implementation. In the addressed issues section, you'll see the statement: "Some items/rewards can be obtained repeatedly under certain conditions," indicating that the team got rid of this exploit.

Gathering Nightflower Pollen during its elusive Full Moon phase just got a whole lot tougher. While some players mourn the farm's loss on Twitter/X, others argue it's a blessing in disguise. After all, it'll restore the endgame to its true nature — a brutal, relentless grind. However, there may still be a way to access the Nightflower Pollen exploit, including with the SOS Flare Quest's The Desert Knows Not the Sea. Things can be a bit finicky, though, so it still may not work for some.

Other than the pollen farm nerf, Monster Hunter Wilds' March 10th patch addresses different issues, from a Chapter 5-2 progression solution to an unlock for Azuz and Sild Meal Invitations. There are also a few more updates on the way for known problems with side missions, Palicos, and Hunter Profiles.

We still await the two primary fixes regarding the game's performance and corrupted saves. Hopefully, it'll come before Title Update 1, which is set for an early April release. Maybe by then, there will be another exploit for the Nightflower Pollen farming unless it, of course, gets patched again.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Lucky You event

Disney Dreamlight Valley's latest event, Lucky You, is live from March 10 until March 17, 2025. During it, you'll hunt for three-leaf and four-leaf clovers to craft the exclusive End of the Rainbow Cauldron and collect the Lucky Shirt. However, doing all this is easier said than done.

Knowing how often clovers spawn, what objects you can craft, and the resources required can be overwhelming. Although it's a small event compared to Eggstravaganza and DDV's Winter events, there's still much to unpack here, especially if you hopped on and unexpectedly found clovers around your village.

What is the Lucky You event in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Disney Dreamlight Valley's Lucky You event is a limited-time event that began on March 10, 2025 and ends on March 17. During it, you'll spot three-leaf and four-leaf clovers around your village, which you can forage for crafting and completing event duties.

The event features two new crafting recipes for four-leaf clovers and the End of the Rainbow Cauldron. Alongside these recipes, you'll find the Lucky You Dreamlight duty that rewards you with a green Lucky Shirt. You'll unlock the clover recipe after collecting your first three-leaf clover, while the End of the Rainbow Cauldron unlocks after obtaining a four-leaf clover.

How to find Clovers in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley's Lucky You event features two new clovers, a common three-leaf clover and a rarer four-leaf version. Both types can spawn in any biome, from early-game areas like the Plaza and Peaceful Meadows to the far reaches of the Forgotten Lands.

Three-leaf clovers spawn once every 15 minutes, with up to nine available in your village at once. In short, if you're away from the game for an hour or two, you'll return with several to forage around the map.

Four-leaf clovers, on the other hand, spawn once every 90 minutes, with only one available at a time. Even if you're away for several hours or overnight, you'll return to one only four-leaf clover until you forage one and wait for another. However, you can also craft four-leaf clovers using ten three-leaf ones and 500 Dreamlight, so don't sweat if you're only able to play for a few days this week or miss a few clovers.

All Lucky You event rewards in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Lucky You event has two main rewards: the End of the Rainbow Cauldron and a green Lucky Shirt. You'll find the cauldron as a recipe in your crafting station and the shirt as a reward for collecting seven four-leaf clovers.

If you've already obtained seven or more four-leaf clovers, head into your Dreamlight duties, select Village, and scroll through until you find "Lucky You!" Completing it gives you the shirt to wear forever, including during and outside the event. The End of the Rainbow Cauldron is trickier to obtain, requiring the following items:

  • Four-Leaf Clover (10)
  • Iron Ingot (10)
  • Gold Ingot (20)

Beyond the ten four-leaf clovers, you also need iron and gold, which you can collect by mining or purchasing from Kristoff's stall. Iron appears in most regions, while gold is mainly exclusive to the Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, and the Forgotten Lands.

Hunter and Longsword in Monster Hunter Wilds

Monster Hunter Wilds has an elaborate crafting system in place, and there are certain combinations that beginners should always have on their hotlist.

While you can produce many different items across multiple categories, some are more useful than others. Some are also pretty easy to produce, and you should always have them in your inventory. This guide will teach you some of the best recipes for beginners in Wilds.

Best Monster Hunter Wilds recipes for beginners

The list of recipes includes both food and non-food items. All of them have vital uses in different situations, so having them in your inventory is paramount.

An image of monster in Monster Hunter Wilds
Image via Capcom

Recipe Ingredients Reason
Potion/Mega Potion Herb, Honey (only for Mega) You're going to bleed and take damage from the monsters you hunt, and you'll want to recover health (your Palico can only do so much after all). Having Potions or Mega Potions is almost mandatory, especially if you're a beginner.
Herbal Medicine Antidote, Blue Mushroom A lot of monsters not only chip away at your health, but they also apply negative status effects. Herbal Medicine is useful to cure yourself quickly in the heat of battle and last longer in the fight.
Demondrug Catalyst, Might Seed If you're struggling to take down a specific monster, consuming Demondrug can be extremely beneficial. It provides a temporary boost to your attack power and boosts a lot of substats.
Adamant Pill Immunizer, Adamant Seed This item increases survivability as it hardens your skin temporarily, and helps you survive a battle for a longer time.
Net Ivy, Spider Web You can't slaughter every monster you come across, and some of the smaller ones are more valuable when caught alive. You'll always want a net ready to go.
Smokebomb Smokenut, Ivy This is an extremely underrated item that helps you escape a strong monster by creating a large smokescreen.
Meat Airy Egg, Monster Chilli This meal is easy to make but increases your damage output while the bonus is active.
Fish A very underrated meal that doesn't offer you in fights, but the bonuses make exploration a lot easier. You can also combine it with Truffle Du Conga's bonuses to make gathering more rewarding.
Shock Trap Trap Fool, Thunderbug Capacitor One of the best traps to use on monsters as its effects can slow down the creature, allowing you to land some mighty combos with your weapons.
Energy Drink Nitroshroom, Honey Energy Drink allows you to remove Sleep and increases the available Stamina.

Ultimately, a lot of these recipes are basic in nature. However, that doesn't reduce their usefulness inside the game, and you should always stack as many of them as possible. Make sure to check this list for the full set of all item recipes available in Monster Hunter Wilds.

Elon Musk Video Game Journalism

Popular social media service X, formerly Twitter, is down for the second time in a single day as users from all over the world have reported incidents of an outage.

Unlike the first one, the latest incident seems to be for a longer duration, and as of writing, the servers still remain out of service. While the exact cause behind the incident is unknown, here's what you can to in the meantime that ensure that there are no problems from your end.

How to check X server status

The best way to check server status for X is using Downdetector. Usually, you'll see a spike in the number of users reporting outages in your region. This can be used to check the server status of any website, but it's extra helpful in case a social media site like X goes down. Usually, a lot of gaming studios will announce about servers being down on social media platforms like X. In this case, relying on third-party sites like Downdetector is the only solution.

Image of X's status on Downdetector
Image via Destructoid

Usually, there's not much to do from your end if the servers are down. Whatever the cause might be, it has to be fixed from X's end, and it can take a long time. We have had major outages back in 2024, when the site was down right after Elon Musk completed his takeover. Whether the latest outage stretches for a similarly long period remains to be seen.

If you want to check the server status (of X or of another platform), just complete the following steps.

  • Go to Downdetector
  • Select your region.
  • Type in the name of the service you want to check.
  • If there's a spike of red towers, it simply means that the servers are down.
  • If there is no spike of red towers and you still can't access the servers, chances are that the issue is at your end.

Disney Dreamlight Valley four-leaf clover for Lucky You task

During Disney Dreamlight Valley's Spring Into the Lucky You event, you'll find three-leaf and four-leaf clovers spawning around your village. While their main purpose is to craft the End of the Rainbow Cauldron, you'll also get a special shirt after completing the Lucky You Dreamlight task.

How to complete the Lucky You event task in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Finishing the Spring Into the Lucky You event's Lucky You duty requires collecting seven four-leaf clovers. You have from March 10 to 17, 2025, to find them before the event ends. There are two ways to get four-leaf clovers in Disney Dreamlight Valley:

  • Forage them around your Dreamlight Valley village.
  • Craft them using 10 three-leaf clovers and 500 Dreamlight.

Disney Dreamlight Valley four-leaf clover

Four-leaf clovers spawn once every 90 minutes in a random biome. Only one can appear at a time, so you'll need to hunt for them until you spot one. After finding one, you'll have an hour and a half of wait time before the next appears, giving you time to collect some three-leaf clovers, do a bit of farming, or decorate your village if you wish.

Disney Dreamlight Valley four-leaf clover recipe
Screenshot by Destructoid

If you can't find any four-leaf clovers or are approaching the end of the Spring Into the Lucky You event, you can use 10 three-leaf clovers and 500 Dreamlight to craft one four-leaf clover. You can get Dreamlight by finishing your regular village tasks, while three-leaf clovers are a much more common variant that spawns around the map every 15 minutes. You'll find this recipe under Refined Materials in your crafting station.

Once you obtain seven four-leaf clovers through crafting or foraging, you'll complete the Lucky You event task, rewarding you with a green Lucky Shirt as proof of your accomplishment.

Locked items in Create a Sim in The Sims 4

If you buy a new Expansion, Game, Stuff Pack, or new Kit for The Sims 4, one of the first things you'll likely do is check on all of the items that come with that Pack to see if they're everything you hoped they would be.

However, a lot of these new items are often locked behind gameplay and only accessible once you've completed certain objectives within the game. This can be pretty annoying, but there are ways around it — cheats.

The cheats for unlocking Build and Buy objects are pretty well known at this point, but just in case, here are the cheats you need to use to unlock items in Build and Buy:

  • "testingcheats true"
  • "bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement"

It's that simple. After inputting the two cheats above, you'll be able to place any previously objective-locked item into the world, just as though you managed to unlock it the more 'official' way.

How to unlock locked Create a Sim (CAS) in The Sims 4

Using cheats in The Sims 4
Screenshot by Destructoid

Unlocking locked CAS items is slightly more complicated, because there isn't a cheat to unlock all of them in one fell swoop. Instead, you need to have an understanding of Pack codes. With so many packs already released for The Sims 4 and more to come, there are a lot of codes to remember.

If you want to unlock items in CAS, you will need to own the pack itself, and then you'll need to enter CAS and input the following cheats:

  • "testingcheats true"
  • "cas.unlockbytag [Pack code]"

The '[Pack code]' part will need to be replaced with a particular code (listed below) and then, if you've input it correctly, locked CAS items from that Pack will become available to look at and use. If done correctly, a list of unlocked items will appear in the console (shown above).

All The Sims 4 pack codes

Codes for Packs in The Sims 4 are split into three types:

  • EP codes: Expansion Packs
  • GP codes: Game Packs
  • SP codes: Stuff Packs, Kits, Creator Kits
  • FP codes: Free Packs

Each Pack has a specific number attached to it, and that code is what you'll need to input in the above "cas.unlockbytag" cheat to unlock CAS items that are otherwise only opened via gameplay achievements. The number for each Pack increases chronologically by the date that the Pack was released.

Here's the full list of codes available for use with this cheat:

fallout 76 biometric scanner location dead scientist

Biometric Scanners are a junk item in Fallout 76 that can be scrapped for rare mats used in crafting: Fiber Optics and Nuclear Material. In the past, the scanners have also been required to complete a daily quest. This guide will assist you in your search for Biometric Scanners.

What are Biometric Scanners used for?

In Fallout 76, the Biometric Scanner is junk loot that yields the following when scrapped:

  • Asbestos x 1
  • Fiber Optics x 1
  • Nuclear Material x 1

Asbestos is an insulation that is used to craft the Marine Armor set and the Asbestos Lining armor mod, for example. Fiber Optics are a mat for making energy weapons like laser or plasma guns and Fallout 76's C.A.M.P. laser turrets. Nuclear Material breaks down further into Nuclear Waste, which has a range of applications, from making ammo to base building.

Where to look for Biometric Scanners in Fallout 76?

Unlike some items in the game, Biometric Scanners do not predictably spawn in specific locations. Instead, they have a chance to drop as loot from defeated Turrets.

  • Places with plenty of Turrets, like the AMS Corporate Headquarters or The Burrows in Harpers Ferry, are good to search.
  • Crimson Prospect has six Turrets, five easily accessible by running around the perimeter and one inside the structure.
  • The missile silos Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie also have Turrets, though these areas only become accessible once you have completed the "Officer on Deck" quest near the end of a fairly long questline.

A Biometric Scanner in the wild

One Biometric Scanner reliably spawns on Fallout 76's world map. In the cliffs to the north of the Monorail Elevator, northwest of Fort Defiance, the skeleton of a researcher rests beside a Biometric Scanner. Be aware that a Legendary Sheepsquatch also lurks in the area.

You've now slogged all over Appalachia to get your hands on some precious Biometric Scanners. It's time to smash them up for parts.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Clovers

Disney Dreamlight Valley's Lucky You event has officially arrived to mark the beginning of a new season. Or, well, close to it. From March 10 to 17, you'll collect three-leaf and four-leaf clovers to craft an exclusive furniture item and obtain a themed shirt.

How to find three-leaf clovers in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley three-leaf clover
Screenshot by Destructoid

Three-leaf clovers are DDV's common variety that you can find in any biome. They appear as small, bright green clovers that sparkle as you approach them. One three-leaf clover spawns every 15 minutes, letting you farm them if you play for a while.

Three-leaf and four-leaf clovers only spawn during Disney Dreamlight Valley's Lucky You event from March 10 to March 17, 2025. If you log into the game at any point before or after these dates, you may find a few stragglers, but you won't spot any new spawns.

How to find four-leaf clovers in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley four-leaf clover
Screenshot by Destructoid

Four-leaf clovers are much rarer and can also spawn in any biome. However, unlike their three-leaf counterparts, they appear once every 90 minutes as one large clover. You can also only have one four-leaf clover in your Disney Dreamlight Valley village at a time, so you won't be able to sit AFK for six hours and have a bunch spawn. Treat these like an hourly scavenger hunt between farming and questing.

Alternatively, you can craft four-leaf clovers using ten three-leaf ones and 500 Dreamlight. That way, if you have dozens of three-leaf clovers and need one or two more four-leaf variants, you'll have another way to farm without sitting around for an hour. You'll find its recipe under Refined Material in your crafting table.

How to use clovers in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Clovers are an event item in Disney Dreamlight Valley you can use to craft the End of the Rainbow Cauldron and obtain the Lucky Shirt. Getting the Lucky Shirt requires collecting seven four-leaf clovers and redeeming its relevant Dreamlight Duty, while the End of the Rainbow Cauldron uses the following resources:

  • Four-Leaf Clover (10)
  • Iron Ingot (10)
  • Gold Ingot (20)

Disney Dreamlight Valley clover recipes
Screenshot by Destructoid

If your goal is to "complete" DDV's Lucky You event, you'll want to grab this shirt and at least one cauldron. Better yet, you can make several cauldrons if you want one in each biome. You have one week to do it, so be sure to find as many clovers as possible.

Players in Blue Lock: Rivals holding a trophy.

Styles in Blue Lock: Rivals are similar to weapons or skills in some other Roblox titles inspired by Blue Lock. Styles let you use several very powerful skills, which are great for creating chances and for finishing from seemingly impossible angles. Check out which ones are the best in the Blue Lock: Rivals style tier list below.

Blue Lock: Rivals Style Tier List

A tier list of all styles in the Blue Lock Rivals Roblox experience made via TierMaker that goes as follows: S tier: Don Lorenzo, Kunigami, Yukimiya, Rin; A tier: Sae, Aiku, Shidou, Nagi, Karasu; B tier: King, Otoya, Hiori, Reo; C tier: Gagamaru, Bachira, Isagi; D tier: Chigiri
Image via TierMaker

The above tier list ranks all styles in Blue Lock: Rivals based on their overall strength, with a little bit more priority given to attacking styles. In general, rarer styles are stronger than the rest. However, there are exceptions to that, like Otoya being overall stronger than Reo.

Strengths of Blue Lock: Rivals Styles

Kunigami, Yukimiya, and Rin are the best styles on the attack in Blue Lock Rivals. Kunigami has super-powerful knuckleball moves and a steal-ball move as well. With Yukimiya, you can dribble past opponents with ease. With Rin, you can score easy goals by shooting curved balls, which are tricky to defend against. And with Shidou, you are basically the aerial king. Sae's and Hiori's kits are more versatile. With both of them, you can pass the ball around and finish strong.

Nagi's mid-air trap is very good because you can't steal the ball away from him while he is doing it, and he can also dribble out of it to switch the play. Aiku and Karasu are the best defensive styles in Blue Lock: Rivals because their whole kits are about retaking possession. King and Otoya are amazing for long shots, but they have enough mobility to be useful on defense as well.

Reo is an all-around good pick for all positions. Gagamaru is made for GKs with a kit that is all about blocking shots in a flashy way. Bachira is decent for both defenders and wingers. Isagi and Chigiri are ok on both ends but not amazing. Isagi is slightly better because of the direct shot that lets you finish more consistently and the lob pass skill.

List of All Blue Lock: Rivals Styles

Below is a complete list of all Styles in Blue Lock: Rivals based on their rarity tier, along with a description of their skills:

World Class Styles

Style Skills Tier
Don Lorenzo style from the Blue Lock Rivals Roblox experience C - A long dribble that lets you dribble past multiple opponents.
V - Short dash followed up by a volley.
B - You dash left or right and block the ball, sending it flying in the opposite direction.
C (Awakening) - You teleport and steal a ball close to you.
V (Awakening) - You teleport to a nearby ball and send it flying forward.
B (Awakening) [On-ball] - You get a short burst of speed, and you automatically dribble past opponents for the duration.
B (Awakening) [Off-ball] - You get a short burst of speed, and you automatically steal balls from opponents for the duration.
S

Mythic Styles

Mythic styles in Blue Lock: Rivals have a 0.5% pull rate with regular spins and a 5% pull rate with lucky spins. Some Mythic styles have an alternate C move when you awaken, and they are usually as powerful as their ultimate B moves.

Style Skills Tier
Kunigami Style from Blue Lock Rivals Roblox experience C - With a small wind-up, you shoot a powerful knuckleball in the direction you are facing.
C (Awakening) - While the ball is in the air, you teleport to it and shoot a very powerful volley.
V - You dash through the player in front of you, knocking them to the ground and stealing their ball.
B - With a player in front of you, you teleport to them, knock them to the ground, and shoot a very powerful knuckleball in the direction you are facing.
S
Yukimiya style from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience C - You move to the side and then dash forward.
C (Awakening) - After a short cutscene, you dash forward, and you can use A and D to dribble past opponents in front of you.
V - You do a short dribble forward, followed by a much longer one to the side.
B - You shoot a very powerful knuckleball in the direction you are facing.
S
Rin style from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience C - You shoot the ball and curve it depending on the side of the field you are on.
C (Awakening) - You make a very powerful shot, curving it with the outside of your foot.
V - You do a very short roulette dribble around an opponent.
B - You throw the opponent closest to you to the ground.
S
Sae style from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience C - You pass the ball perfectly to the person you are aiming at. Great for long passes.
C (Awakening) - You do a cross-elastico nutmeg on the nearest opponent, dash behind them, and then shoot in the direction you are facing.
V - You dribble and dash past an opponent.
B - You flick the ball from behind your back forward and then dash to it and catch it.
A
Shidou style from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience C - You bounce the ball up and do a drive shot in the direction you are facing.
V - You bounce the ball up, jump to it, and do a powerful header in the direction you are facing.
B - You flick the ball up into the air and do a powerful bicycle kick.
A
Aiku style from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience C - You dash forward and force the ball out of an opponent's possession by throwing it into the air.
V - You dash forward and steal the ball away from the player who currently has it.
B - You jump up, intercept any shot or pass that is in the air, and then head it in the opposite direction.
A

Legendary Styles

You have a 2% chance of rolling a Legendary style using regular spins. If you are using lucky spins, those odds change to 45%. Most Legendary styles in Blue Lock: Rivals are way weaker than the Mythic ones. However, there are hidden gems like the best defensive style in Blue Lock: Rivals, Karasu.

Style Skills Tier
Karasu style from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience C - You zig-zag past an opponent in front of you.
V - You dash a long distance forward and steal the ball from a player in front of you.
B - You teleport a loose ball nearby to you.
A
Nagi style from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience C - You jump and trap the ball in mid-air. This can be followed up by a shot or a dash with the C skill.
V - You dash out of a mid-air trap in any direction. It can be used only after C.
B - Volley feint that leads into another powerful volley.
A
King style from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience C - You shoot a high-arching volley. It is best used from outside the box.
V - You gain a burst of speed and sprint forward. The move has an end lag, and you can only slightly alter your sprint direction.
B - An improved version of the V skill that lets you constantly change direction while also having no end lag.
B
Reo style from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience C - You copy the last ability used by the player you are looking at. This move has a 50% chance of being successful.
V - Depending on whether you have the ball or not, you get increased attacking stats or tackle speed.
B - You copy the awakened skill of the player you are looking at.
B

Epic Styles

Epic styles have a 35% pull rate when using normal spins, and that rate increases to 50% for lucky spins. These styles can be useful in the early game until you get a better style, and the ones to aim for are definitely Otoya and Hiori.

Style Skills Tier
Hiori style from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience C - You pass the ball forward with increased strength.
V - You dribble past an opponent in front of you by dashing through them.
B - You curve the ball and pass it to the player you are looking at.
B
Otoya style from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience C - Without the ball, you go invisible and gain a slight burst of speed for a few seconds.
V - With the ball, you go invisible and dribble past an opponent in front of you.
B - You dribble past an opponent in front of you and shoot the ball with power.
B
Gagamaru style from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience C - You scorpion kick the ball in the opposite direction. It can be used to block shots.
V - If you are in your 18-yard box, you gain a massive speed boost and a lower dive cooldown for 10 seconds. If you are outside of the box, you do a diving header forward, kicking the ball in the opposite direction. It can't be used in mid-air.
B - You do a handstand and block the incoming shot.
C
Bachira style from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience C - You dash a short distance forward and steal the ball.
V - You nutmeg an opponent, pushing the ball far forward behind them. You also get a short burst of speed.
B - You do a bunch of stepovers and dash through an opponent along with the ball.
C

Rare Styles

You will roll Rare styles the most in Blue Lock: Rivals because they have a 62.5% roll chance when you are using regular spins. Use them only if you have nothing else and you've spent all your spins. Thankfully, you can't roll a Rare style with lucky spins, so that's a relief.

Style Skills Tier
Isagi style from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience C - You bounce the ball and shoot out a powerful volley.
V - A direct lob pass to any of your teammates.
B - It gives you meta vision, which lets you see the status of other players and where the ball is going.
C
Chigiri style from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience C - Greatly increases your speed with and without the ball.
V - Fully restores your stamina bar and prevents it from being depleted for a short amount of time.
B - A short dash forward that can be used three times.
D

How to Use, Reroll, and Store Styles in Blue Lock: Rivals

You can use your awakening once it spawns on you during the match, but keep in mind that this can take a while. When you are able to awaken, which will be indicated to you on the screen, get a hold of the ball and press the G button. While awakened, you can use your B skill once before it runs out. For most of the match, rely on other style skills and pro moves to better your play.

Click on the styles button while in the lobby to enter the styles menu, where you can reroll your style. Each reroll costs you one spin if you got some through codes or daily quests, or 2500 cash.

You can also store your styles, but you have to unlock style storage slots, which cost Robux. I don't recommend purchasing them until at least more styles get added to Blue Lock: Rivals.

I hope the above info lets you dominate the field in Blue Lock: Rivals. If you want to find the correct flow to go along with your style, then feel free to check out our Blue Lock: Rivals Flow tier list.

Vivian from Zenless Zone Zero

Vivian is an upcoming playable character in Zenless Zone Zero 1.7. While her abilities have yet to be officially revealed, a reliable source has already shared her potential kit. This includes her Basic Attack, Special Attacks, Core, and Chain Attack.

It's important to remember that this information is based on the beta, so Vivian's kit is subject to change.

Vivian kit leaks

Hakush.in is a trusted source and they have shared Vivian's entire kit. You can find a brief description of all her abilities in Zenless Zone Zero below:

Basic Attack and Enhanced Basic Attack

Performs up to 4 attacks that deal Physical DMG and Ether DMG. After performing the fourth attack, she enters the [Ground Parachute State]. If she has charge points, holding her attacks will allow her to enter the [Floating State].

In the [Ground Parachute State], Vivian charges forward when performing a Basic Attack to deal Ether DMG before recovering 1 charge point. She recovers 1 additional charge if she performs the ultimate dodge when charging forward.

Meanwhile, in the [Floating State], upon casting the Basic Attack or Special Attack, Vivian launches a series of attacks that end with a [Bloom Attack], dealing increased Ether DMG. This action consumes the charge points, which will be regenerated whenever she performs a Basic Attack. Furthermore, she will gain a stack of [Enhancement Effect].

https://twitter.com/ZZZ_EN/status/1897498656715973064

Special Attack and Enhanced Special Attack

Upon tapping the Special Attack, Vivian charges forward to deal Physical DMG and Ether DMG. Continuously pressing the Special Attack when she has charge points will trigger the [Floating State].

Using the Special Attack when Vivian has enough energy, she will deal increased Ether DMG, recover 2 charge points, and enter the [Ground Parachute State].

Also read: Vivian VA in Zenless Zone Zone: Japanese, Chinese, and Korean

Chain Attack (Ultimate)

Upon casting her ultimate, Vivian deals a large amount of Ether DMG and recovers 4 charge points before entering the [Floating State].

Core Passive

Vivian deals extra instances of increased DMG when she hits enemies affected by any elemental property. In addition, the enemy falls into the poisoned state and is inflicted with Ether DMG over time.

Additional Abilities

Vivian gains an additional ability when there's another Anomaly or Ether Agent in the team. When the said party member triggers an Attribute Anomaly, Vivian consumes the Enhancement Effect stacks to deal Bloom DMG to the enemies. Furthermore, the Corrosion and Disorder DMG dealt by the entire team is increased.

That's all on Vivian's kit leaks. More information will be revealed during the Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 livestream.

fallout 76 microscope locations

Microscopes in Fallout 76 are a convenient source of valuable crafting materials. They also only weigh 0.88 pounds and are one of the best ways in the game to get your hands on Fiber Optics, a rare component used to craft laser weapons, among other things. They can be scrapped into:

  • Gear
  • Glass x 2
  • Crystal x 2
  • Fiber Optics
  • Steel x 3

Locations with enough Microscopes worth making a trip for

Several places in Fallout 76 have Microscopes lying around, though most of them only have one. There are eight locations where you will find at least two, making it more worth the trek and time investment.

  • AMS Corporate Headquarters - 2
  • Arktos Pharma Biome Lab - 7
  • AVR Medical Center – 7
  • Morgantown High School -4
  • Transmission Station 1AT-U03 – Enclave research facility - 10
  • Vault 63 - 8
  • Vault 96 - 11
  • West Tek Research Center – 6

How to find Microscopes in Fallout 76

AMS Corporate Headquarters

Once inside, take the lift to the third floor. Upon reaching a staircase, follow it all the way to the top and then head into the room directly in front of you. There are two Microscopes inside.

Arktos Pharma Biome Lab

fallout 76 arktos pharma location
Screenshot by Destructoid

The next set of Microscopes is in the underground biome lab at Arktos Pharmacy. No need to run through the maze of the surface-level building; take the right-hand elevator in the reception area to reach the lab. Unfortunately, you'll be moving from one maze to another, encountering some Scorched, security robots, a Sentry Bot boss, and seven Microscopes as you wander.

AVR Medical Center

fallout 76 avr medical center location
Screenshot by Destructoid

You'll find seven Microscopes in the AVR Medical Center, scattered among three different rooms. It's a bit of work to get them, though, as there are Scorched lurking about and the facility is fairly large and labyrinthine, especially if it's your first time here.

If you're short on Plastic, this is also a great place to scavenge because there are a bunch of Cafeteria Trays in the lunchroom. Two Chemical Stations in the building make it convenient to scrap all the junk you'll inevitably pick up.

Morgantown High School

fallout 76 morgantown high school location

There are four Microscopes in the science classroom on the ground floor of Morgantown High School, off the first hallway leading east from the main entrance.

Transmission Station 1AT-U03 – Enclave research facility

Screenshot by Destructoid

You'll find 10 Microscopes scattered about this somewhat large and enemy-filled research facility in Fallout 76. However, to access it, you'll need to work your way a fair way through the Brotherhood of Steel questline, which begins at Fort Atlas.

Vault 63

fallout 76 vault 63 location
Screenshot by Destructoid

Vault 63 is in Skyline Valley, which was added to the game in June 2024. If you haven't been there yet, look on your Pip Boy's Data tab to start the Fallout 76 quest called "An Unlikely Invitation." That questline will lead you to Vault 63, where you'll eventually gain access to the maze-like Organics Sector and its eight Microscopes.

Vault 96

fallout 76 vault 96 location
Screenshot by Destructoid

This vault holds 11 Microscopes, the most you'll find in one place. It's inaccessible, however, unless you've progressed through the Steel Reign quests for the Brotherhood of Steel. Until that's done, the terminal that opens the vault door won't even be spawned in for you. You'll also have to explore enough of the area to obtain the security card or the path to some rooms with Microscopes will be blocked.

West Tek Research Center

fallout 76 west tek research center location
Screenshot by Destructoid

The West Tek Research Center is filled with Super Mutants, but you'll eventually wind up with six Microscopes in your backpack as a reward for taking them on. There are also a couple of Hazmat Suits to grab if you don't already have one. If you venture into the FEV Production Facility via the elevator inside, you will end up at red security lasers blocking the way forward. That area is only accessible while completing a Brotherhood of Steel quest.

Destiny 2's Indebted Kindness sidearm.

All things considered, it's safe to say that this isn't a bad time to be playing Destiny 2. The game is in a reasonable state, all in all, and there's solid relevant seasonal content aplenty. Things aren't perfect, though, and weapon crafting in particular is in an awkward spot.

Of course, Destiny 2: Heresy did kick things off with a crummy set of technical problems, but it bounced back up fairly quickly. Further, Bungie's managed to deliver a reasonable selection of seasonal goodies to chase after, with the extremely exciting Rite of the Nine event slated for Act 3 of the season. None of this is likely to resolve the huge elephant in the room that is weapon crafting, however, and that too is just a continuation of a strange backtracking of some of Destiny 2's biggest community wins. What the heck is up with all that, then?

https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/1j6ix3l/i_miss_crafting_their_was_a_time_when_we_would/

Players still want weapon crafting back in the limelight, but it's unlikely to happen anytime soon

The specific problem being discussed by the Destiny 2 community right now is Bungie's decision to make the latest seasonal weapons non-craftable for the duration of the ongoing season. This choice was made with Episode 2: Revenant and it's been inherited by Episode 3: Heresy as well. There were a lot of changes being made at the time, but the result of this de-emphasizing of weapon crafting is that players hunting for genuinely relevant gear have to grind activities over and over again in hopes of good drops. Pre-Revenant, it was possible to roll the dice with RNG drops or to slowly grind out a craftable weapon with exactly the Perks you wanted, but that's no longer an option. Is it because of FOMO? I reckon the answer is yes, though Bungie is unlikely to admit as much.

Weapon crafting wasn't perfect by any means, of course, but it did enable two entirely different playstyles that would give the players what they wanted on a long enough timeline. With one of these two options completely out of the question now, it shouldn't be a surprise that there's a growing sense of anxiety in the player base about timed, seasonal gear availability. Heck, I wrote about Bungie's insistence on not bringing back Black Armory gear early in 2024, and here we are in 2025 with no BA items on the horizon in any way, shape, or form. Once this stuff is out of the game, it may take over half a decade before it comes back, and that's not great.

Bungie's mishandling of weapon crafting and customization is precisely what I was talking about when I voiced my thoughts on what I felt Destiny 2's biggest issue is: uncertainty. With Bungie, you never really know what's next and what might happen to your favorite gameplay and progression features. Ever since weapon crafting was introduced as part of Witch Queen, it was a powerful tool to reduce the reliance on rapid-fire FOMO and excessive grinding.

The community embraced weapon crafting and though it wasn't perfect, it was an excellent feature that did wonders for the long-term health of the game and the community. For months now, it's been relegated to a mere support role for old, out-of-date items as the game returned to its old, FOMO-centric gameplay progression systems. Sadly, that's where it's likely to stay, even if the community hates that development.

In the end, I suppose The Final Shape really was just an outlier, even if I might've hoped that Bungie had a few more tricks up its sleeve. Maybe Frontiers will pan out, in this respect? I've got my doubts, but let's wait and see.

A tier list of all flows in the Blue Lock Rivals Roblox experience made via TierMaker that goes as follows: S tier: Soul Harvester, Dribbler, Prodigy A tier: Awakened Genius, Snake, Wildcard, Crow, Demon Wings B Tier: Trap, Genius, Chameleon C tier: King's Instinct, Gale Burst, Monster, Puzzle D tier: Ice, Lightning

Dribbler and Prodigy are the best offensive flows in Blue Lock: Rivals because of the increased shot power, speed, and curved shots or extended dribbles they give. Snake is the best defensive flow, and it is best paired with the Aiku style. Awakened Genius is great for all positions because it gives you bonuses of several other flows.

Demon Wings is basically made to be paired up with Shidou style. Crow, Wildcard, Monster, and Puzzle are great on both ends. They let you start counter-attacks, and if you get to the opponent's penalty area first or use one of the pro moves, you are almost guaranteed to score.

Gale Burst is a weaker variant of DW that is useful for all styles and positions. King's Instinct is excellent for midfielders who like to break the opponent's attacks with precise tackles and then start counters with long balls. Ice is lackluster unless you pair it up with the Sae style.

Genius, while it doesn't grant you any buffs, it lets the rest of your team use their flows for longer, and that can decide close matches. It requires only about 40% of your flow bar to be used while granting the rest of your team around 120% in total.

How to Use, Reroll, and Store Flows in Blue Lock: Rivals

You use your flow by pressing T on the keyboard when you have enough flow bar, which will be visible on your screen. On use, the bar will either drain slowly or completely deplete, depending on your current flow.

To reroll your flow, click on the flow button at the bottom of your screen while in the lobby. Each roll costs 2000 cash or one flow spin if you have some either from redeeming codes or from completing quests.

In Blue Lock: Rivals, you can also unlock two additional flow storage slots, but they cost Robux, so I wouldn't recommend buying them until more flows are added.

That's it for our Blue Lock: Rivals flow tier list. If you are also looking for the best flow to take onto the field with you, check out our Blue Lock: Rivals style tier list as well.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: an enemy soldier slides down a flight of concrete stairs.

Even as someone who's not the most ardent fan of the film franchise, I was very impressed with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Its action-adventure storytelling, interesting puzzles, and Troy Baker's take on the titular explorer made it a standout game.

If there's one downside to it, it's that it's currently an Xbox exclusive. While it has been confirmed that The Great Circle will be coming to PlayStation 5, we haven't yet had a release date. However, that date could arrive any day now, as the Entertainment Software Rating Board has now rated the game for the Sony console.

This was spotted by known leaker Wario64 (thanks, Insider Gaming), which points to the entry on the ESRB website. While there's still no confirmation on when it actually drops for PS5, we can assume that MachineGames or Bethesda will announce it soon.

Contains blood and gore

The ratings board describes it as "an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of Indiana Jones on an adventure to uncover a mystery while defeating villains." It classes it as Teen for its depiction of blood and gore, drug references, mild language, and, of course, violence.

This also represents what Microsoft has been promising; that games exclusive to the Xbox console and Windows PCs would be making their way to more rival systems, in this case, the PS5. Other Xbox exclusives being ported to PlayStation include Doom: The Dark Ages, while many will also hope that Avowed will eventually make its way to the console.

Although the hype has died down now, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle received a lot of praise since its release in December 2024. Our own Steven Mills gave it a solid 8 out of 10, calling it an "authentic Indiana Jones experience" with a "high level of polish."
