Today(March 18), Call of Duty Mobile released a mini-update of 48MB to implement some weapons' performance changes. Following the update, players started noticing small balance changes in AS VAL, QQ9, and Man-O-War. Other than that, the mini-update also introduced some accessories adjustments.

While the developers didn't officially release the patch notes for the small update, we managed to find all the new changes post Call of Duty Mobile March 18 update.

Thanks to codmINTEL on Twitter, we know that the COD Mobile update significantly improved the recoil, range, and accuracy of AS-VAL, QQ9, and Man-O-War. Here are the complete details:

AS-VAL

  • Improved Bullet speed
  • Optimized recoil force of the firearm and enhanced stability.
  • Improved the range
  • Lowered the firearm and raised it
  • Adjusted the magnification of the position
  • Increased the emission of bullets fired from the waist of the firearm

QQ9

  • Improved the range
  • Improved the accuracy and recoil control of waist and mirror shooting
  • Removed the damage attenuation of the arm
  • Increased the tactical reload speed to 2.3s, the empty warehouse reload speed to 2.7s.
  • Increased the movement speed
  • Increased the speed of lifting the mirror

Man-O-War

  • Reduce the accuracy of waist shot emission

Accessory Adjustments

[Integrated Silencer]

  • Removed the negative effect of reducing the speed of lifting the mirror
  • Except for submachines and shotguns, increased the opening time by 7%
  • The time of lifting the mirror adjusted by +12%

[Huge Silencer]

  • Removed the vertical recoil control gain
  • Increase the opening time by +16%
  • The mirror lift time adjusted by +22%

[Man-O-War short barrel of light fittings MIP]

  • Increased the speed: +2%-3% adjusted to the moving speed
  • Increased the opening time of the mirror: 10%-5% of the time was adjusted to give mirror time
  • Increased vertical recoil control: +6% vertical recoil adjusted to +7.8% vertical recoil

These are all the changes that have arrived in COD Mobile with today's March 18 mini-update. You might have felt these changes in the weapons yourself, but now you know what exactly is changed after the update. Honestly, it's great that the developers are putting more effort into weapons' balance changes – the AS VAL's recoil does feel great after the latest update. However, it's unfortunate that devs still aren't doing what's more important; improving the game's performance on mid-range devices.

Crytek officially released the Hunt Showdown update 1.5.0.2 for PC today, which mostly includes balancing changes and bug fixes.

As revealed in the patch notes for the new update of Hunt Showdown, the new patch brings some changes to the Full Metal Jacket by tweaking the Ammo Type's wall penetration ability. As per the designer's note from Crytek, with this update, the FMJ's damage after multiple wall penetrations will change a little bit. Below, you can check out the full details:

Gunplay

Full Metal Jacket:

  • FMJ rounds no longer have a base damage reduction over regular ammo. They will still have a slower muzzle velocity.
  • FMJ rounds will now retain more of its damage after the first few wall penetrations.
  • All FMJ rounds will now penetrate through up to two layers of thin metal sheets.

Spitzer

  • Spitzer ammo will retain slightly more damage after the first few wall penetrations. It will still have less base damage than regular ammo.
  • All spitzer rounds will now penetrate through up to two layers of thin metal sheets.

Store

  • Updated some ammunition stats in the store page.

AI

  • Fixed an issue that could cause the Spider and Assassin to become stuck or die in unreachable positions.
  • Gunplay
  • Fixed an issue where the charge animation for the Winfield Centennial would play faster than intended. The animation will now be in line with the rate of fire.
  • Fixed an issue that resulted in some weapon stats showing the incorrect values.

Meta

  • Fixed an issue that resulted in the incorrect amount of XP being granted for kills. The XP will now be calculated correctly.

World

  • Fixed a server performance issue that could occur from igniting several oil pools simultaneously.

Misc

  • Fixed a potential crash that could occur due to crossbow bolts being stuck in barricaded doors.
  • Fixed several minor localization issues.

UI

  • Fixed an issue where extra info on the death screen could overlap with other UI elements.
  • Fixed an issue that result in the ELO arrows being hidden incorrectly.

Hunt Showdown is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. Aside from the update above, the game also received a console update today as well, which brings some visual and performance overhaul to the new-gen versions.

Doom Eternal The Ancient Gods Part 2 release time has been set for March 18 and it's currently available in Asian and European countries, with North and South American countries getting the DLC in the next couple of hours.

Doom Eternal has been one of the most impressive first-person shooters of last year, thanks to its fast-based combats and a wide variety of weapons. The game managed to win some important trophies and got nominated for the Game of the Year award during last year's The Game Awards event. Since its launch, The Ancient Gods Part 2 is the second expansion for this title during its first year of release.

 

As a direct sequel to the previous expansion, the second part of The Ancient Gods will end your battle against Hell and its brutal residents. If you can't resist your excitement to see what is going on in the new story-driven expansion, you can check out the live streams of The Ancient Gods Part 2 from Asian and European streamers.

Aside from adding new story mode campaign missions, The Ancient Gods Part 2 also introduces new locations such as ancient Sentinel settlements, cosmic wonders of the World Spear, and the last bastion of the Dark Lord. Besides, you will face some new brutal enemies like the new Armored Baron, the stalwart Stone Imp, the venomous Cursed Prowler, and the new Screecher zombie.

As mentioned before, Doom Eternal The Ancient Gods Part 2 release time is set for a few hours later in North and South American countries while it's currently available in Asian, European, and African regions.

It's yet to be seen whether there would be more expansions for the game in the next months or not, but probably if anything new arrives, it would be after the game's first anniversary.

Planet Zoo Southeast Asia Pack: Release Date, All Animals and New Challenge

For those looking for a brand new challenge, the new Planet Zoo update could be right down your street. The developer of the game, Frontier, has released a big update to the animal management title that should keep fans happy.

The recent DLC expansion, which is a continuation of Planet Zoo's Australia pack and the Arctic Pack, the new Southeast Asia Pack aims to introduce a grand total of eight new creatures for you to care for in your zoo. Frontier has stated that this pack is their very first Animal Pack DLC and that the focus around it is centred on solely giving players more animals to care for.

What Animals are included in the Southeast Asia Pack?

Players will be greeted with some exotic new animals to add to their enclosure. These are the Clouded Leopard, Sun Bear, Proboscis Monkey, North Sulawesi Babirusa, Binturong, Ussuri Dhole, Malayan Tapir, and Giant Malaysian Leaf Insect. Caring for animals like the Clouded Leopard will require you to make sure you place climbing items inside its habitat due to its love of spending time in high areas, this goes for the Sun Bear also.

New Challenge incoming!

Planet Zoo's Southeast Asia Animal Pack will also include a new timed scenario challenge for players, adding in something a little different. Set in Perak, Malaysia, players can get involved in restoring a struggling zoo whose funding fell through mid-way through in a tropical rainforest ecosystem.

Release date and price

The Planet Zoo: Southeast Asia Animal Pack will be available to purchase for £7.99 ($9.99, €9.99) on Steam from 30 March. The Southeast Asia Pack DLC will launch alongside a free update for all players that will introduce a wide range of features like more zoo entrances, adjust the colour of water, customize billboards, and many more things to explore. Pokemon GO Referral Code System Live – All Rewards, Locations and Criteria

Recently, Niantic announced a referral system for their incredibly popular AR hit, Pokemon GO.

The news came hot off the Season of Legends announcement and confirmed that players who referred friends to the game could earn a bunch of great rewards.

That system has now gone live, and here are all the details you need to know about it, including all the rewards you can receive.

Where is the new system live?

Unfortunately, as Niantic do, the system is set to only be live in specific locations around the world. This time out, lucky players in Australia will be the guinea pigs testing the new service out.

What are the rewards and the criteria?

Each player will receive their own unique referral code. This can then be shared with players to invite them to Pokemon GO. Should a friend then sign up, using this code, both players will be eligible for rewards. Players can also use their referral code to invite players back to the game who have been absent for more than 90 days. New players will then be able to complete a range of challenges that will unlock themself and their referrer a bunch of rewards.

Life Is Strange Cosplayers Rewind Time As the Dynamic Duo

Many of us are looking forward to Square Enix's Presents event today that will showcase a host of various upcoming games. Although we know that there will be news around Tomb Raider and Marvel's Avengers, Life is Strange 3 holds a certain allure to what and who the brand new character will bring to part three of the episodic series.

Leaks have appeared around the internet stating that Life is Strange 3's new protagonist will have the power to read people's minds but until we know more, let's put that down to rumours for now.

What we do know though is that Life is Strange's Max and Chloe who are childhood best friends, certainly made their mark in the series as players followed their complex relationship, watching it unfold in ways unimaginable. While we wait to hear more about Life is Strange 3, check out this super realistic cosplay of the characters that looks like a screenshot from the game.

Who are the Max and Chloe cosplayers?

Artist and crafter of costumes 'Lorien Kappa' posted her Life Is Strange attire on Instagram and it's pretty easy to see why it was such a success. Portraying Max Caulfield, or any character, so brilliantly takes a lot of talent. It's not about simply slipping on some similar clothes and calling it a day – you basically need to morph into the character and become them at that moment.

Another amazing cosplayer, Yarpenna, joins Max at the Two Whales Diner as Chloe who oozes and nails the Life is Strange character in her laidback and punk attitude as she slouches across the diner seat across from Max.

Photographer 'stygivi' is the person who put all the pieces together to make this image as good as it is by highlighting the couple and setting a slight blur on the objects in the background. You can view all of the images, below. I personally love the picture of Max and Chloe on the railway track and also the image of Max trying to stop an ongoing train with her supernatural abilities.

The brand new Title Update #12 for FIFA 21 has officially been released for all PlayStation and Xbox consoles on March 18, 2021. We've got the full patch notes and everything you need to know surrounding the latest console update.

Title Update #12 Patch Notes

The full patch notes for the FIFA 21 update on March 18 can be found below, the full patch notes were first released on the official FIFA Forum.

FIFA Ultimate Team

Addressed the following issues:

  • When accessing Transfer Targets through the Transfer Market and using the Compare Price function on a Player Item in Transfer Targets, Player Items did not always display correctly.
  • During Co-Op matches, the Captain's Club name was not visible across stadium banners to the invited player.
  • A potential stability issue could occur when using Compare Price on a Transfer Target Player Item.
  • [Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC only] The Seasoned To Perfection Achievement did not count as completed when its requirements were met.
  • [PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 only] The Seasoned To Perfection Trophy did not count as completed when its requirements were met.

Career Mode

Addressed the following issues:

  • When using the Quick Sim option for a Training Day, player Fitness and Match Sharpness was unaffected.
  • The Replace 3 Players From The Team Board Objective did not track as completed when its requirements were met.

VOLTA FOOTBALL

Addressed the following issues:

  • Updated a typo found on the message that displays when discarding Items.
  • Addressed a potential stability issue that could occur when viewing the Skill Tree.

Title Update #12 On PC

The latest Title Update was released on PC (Origin and Steam) on March 9, 2021. Title Update 12 has only just been released on PlayStation and Xbox consoles but have received the exact same patch notes as PC.
