Where To Sell Items In Magic: Legends

Where To Sell Items In Magic: Legends
Magic: Legends has a unique gear system that has many players confused. This guide on Where To Sell Items In Magic: Legends explains how the equipment works, how selling items work, and where you can find a special trader to sell very specific goods.

For traditional games, the equipment systems work much in the same. You find items and equipment, keep the ones you want to use, sell the ones you don't. While Magic: Legends does have items you can pick up and equip, they are entirely unique. This means that eventually, even the weaker items, can serve a purpose for specific builds. As such, you cannot actually sell your equipment. The chest pieces, boots, other items you collect, are permanently bound to your inventory and cannot be sold, removed, or stored in the current build of the game.

Where To Sell Items In Magic: Legends

There is one location in the hub, the Consignment Broker. You can sell very specific items here, spell pages, premium items, etc. These are for another feature entirely, allowing you to sell items for other currencies so you can purchase packs and other items. However, you still cannot sell traditional items here.

  • All items in Magic: Legends are unique and cannot be sold or traded to other players
  • Items can grow and improve, so most of them will always have a purpose.
  • Certain items can be bought and sold at the Consignment Broker, but not gear items
  • In short, the equipment in your inventory will remain there indefinitely

Where To Find The Lich Knight In Magic: Legends

Where To Find The Lich Knight In Magic Legends

One of the world events in Magic Legends has you searching down and destroying something known as a Lich Knight. Check out this guide to find out where to find the Lich Knight in Magic: Legends. This way you aren't dealing with chat who will want to lead you all over the map.

Where To Find The Lich Knight In Magic Legends

In order for find the Lich Knight in Magic Legends, you will first have to fill the Planar Instability bar in the area. You do this by doing skirmishes, taking towers, and beating bosses in the area. You have to fill the bar fully before the second step, which is when the Lich Knight will start to spawn. Fill up that bar and then you want to head here on the map.

Lich Knight Magic Legends

There is a Mana Tower here that you want to take over or defend. You want to be here when the Planar Instability bar fills up. Near that tower, there are some stairs that lead up into a little cathedral type area. When the Echo of the Lich Knight mission pops up, a portal will spawn in that building. Take that portal and you will be in the realm of the Lich Knight. Stay in there until the timer runs down and the Lich Knight and his allies will spawn.

I did it solo without much trouble, but it was the normal difficulty. If you have more people then more enemies will spawn and I believe their HP is increased as well. If the timer is going down and there is no portal, that means he has already been beaten and you have to wait. I have also had this one bug on me once or twice, so don't freak out if it doesn't spawn.

When one has appeared you will notice it is there because there will be a small radar icon below the mini-map in the top right. How To Kicker Spells In Magic: Legends

How To Kicker Spells In Magic: Legends
Spells with a Kicker offer additional effects for increased mana cost. This guide on How To Kicker Spells In Magic: Legends explains the actual action of casting Kicker on spells as well as an explanation behind the mechanics and feature, one that has been popular in Magic for many years.

In Magic The Gathering every card has a magic cost associated with it. Some cards have special Kicker prices that allow players to cast additional effects on a card for the added price of the Kicker. Both of these fundamental aspects of the Kicker system are present in Magic: Legends, but it's only on certain cards. If you inspect a card, you will see "Kicker" on some of them. If the card has a Kicker available, it means you can cast the spell with additional effects for more mana.

How To Kicker Spells In Magic: Legends

Most of the time, the Kicker is always a stronger and more useful version of the spell, it's just whether or not you have the mana spare to make the additional effects beneficial. In the early game at least, resources are plentiful, enemies fall easy, be sure to experiment and play around with your Kicker cards to get their true value.

  • Inspect your cards to see if they have a Kicker trait
  • If they do, analyze the effect to see if it's worth the additional mana cost
  • You cast the spell as normal for the regular effect
  • If you want to cast the spell with the kicker, hold the button for a second or so

How To Fast Travel In Magic: Legends

How To Fast Travel In Magic: Legends
Magic: Legends boasts a huge game world and travelling can take a lot of time. This guide on How To Fast Travel In Magic: Legends explains how the fast travel system works as, based on my experience with in-game chatter, a lot of people seem to find the feature rather confusing.

In reality, it's not all that bad. When you are exploring during the tutorial you will encounter these small, marble-like stone circles on the floor. They glow as you approach and remain lit up once you move forward and continue to explore. These are fast travel points. However, during the very early stages of the tutorial, they merely act as waypoints. Should you fall in battle or die during the tutorial, you will respawn and the nearest location you have activated.

How To Fast Travel In Magic: Legends

Once you have finished the tutorial, normal Fast Travel is unlocked. You need to finish the entire introduction sequence, until you meet Nissa. She will then walk you through to the first main area where you start the quest A Dangerous Shift. You will start to see other quests popping up and you will also see other players on your screen and on your map. This is also where you unlock the ability to create a party and invite friends.

Once you are at the correct location, you can find the fast travel points by looking for them on the map. When you get close, hold the interact button and you will permanently unlock that fast travel option. You can then simply highlight the location on the map and select Fast Travel. Unfortunately, other players can block the visibility of the icons on the map, genius that it wasn't discovered during Closed Beta.

  • Complete the introduction tutorial sequence
  • Once you've met Nissa and began A Dangerous Shift quest, you have unlocked multiplayer
  • Unlock fast travel locations by getting close and holding the interact button
  • Open your map and select one of the discovered locations to fast travel
  • If you're using keyboard and mouse, press tab to open the fast travel map

How To Play With Friends In Magic: Legends

How To Play With Friends In Magic: Legends
Want to invite your friends to a party in Magic: Legends? This guide on How To Play With Friends In Magic: Legends will tell you everything you need to know to form a party with your fellow Planeswalkers so that you can explore, adventure, and complete quests together as a group.

Magic: Legends is a free-to-play, online, action RPG. This means you can play alongside players from around the world. Each map is divided into zones, a single server on a cluster of servers. The chances of randomly matching up with your friends is very slim, especially at the moment. Thousands of players are clambering into the game. So, if you want to form up a party and go on an adventure with your friends, you will need to invite them to a party.

How To Play With Friends In Magic: Legends

You need to make sure, before you try inviting friends, that you are already out of the tutorial. This is when you arrive in Tazeem and meet up with Nissa, the Planeswalker. Once you've met Nissa, follow the objective until you reach Briarthorn Glade. This is where the tutorial part of the game stops and you're added to the overall servers for that region. Once you're in the appropriate region, you need to complete all the main quests there. When you finish Tazeem and you unlock the next plane, press Escape. This will bring up a menu where you can invite friends to your party. Both Epic Games and Arc share the same servers, so you should be able to play with any of your friends, regardless of platform.

  • Complete the entire tutorial area
  • After you arrive on Tazeem, follow Nissa for a few objectives until you can see other players on your map
  • Once you can see other players on your map, you are no longer in a private, instanced area of the game
  • Now you need to follow the main quests until you complete all of Tazeem, this can take a few hours
  • Once you reach the next zone, The Sanctum, you can invite friends
  • Press "Escape" and then select the + Invite to Party option and you can invite players to join you on your adventure.

Reading through the in-game chat, a number of people are reporting that they are not able to invite friends to a party and they cannot see other players on the map. It could be a bug, so watch out for that.

How Many Card Colors Can You Have In A Deck In Magic: Legends

How Many Card Colors Can You Have In A Deck In Magic Legends
Magic The Gathering fans are excited to jump into the new Magic: Legends game, but how similar is it to MTG? In this guide we discuss How Many Card Colors Can You Have In A Deck In Magic: Legends as it's a question many fans are eager to explore as we enjoy new adventures with the Magic: Legends Open Beta release.

In Magic The Gathering each card has a colored mana associated with it. Red spells require red mana, green requires green, or mountain and forest mana, depending on the circles in which you play. While each spell type has traditional focuses and central elements, there's a huge variety in any of the colors available. Much of that is the same in Magic: Legends, however, there are some minor differences to traditional Magic The Gathering games.

How Many Card Colors Can You Have In A Deck In Magic: Legends

After choosing your starting class in Magic: Legends, you are restricted to a single color in your deck. This remains for the tutorial part of the game, the introductory few hours. Eventually you can unlock other classes and more colors, but you are limited. The most colors you can have in a deck are two. During a recent livestream the team did say that the ability to add more cards is something very much possible later down the line. They are focusing on balancing and feedback with dual colored decks before adventuring out to incorporate more colored spells.

  • After you pick your starting class, you're limited to one spell color in your deck
  • After you complete Tazeem you can unlock the ability to add more colors to your deck
  • Currently, in the Open Beta, at time of writing, you can only have two colored types in your deck at any one time
