Travelling offers plenty of surprising twists and goofs of your own making, but creating is when the game slows down and you can unwind or catch up with friends. You've also got a thriving community on Reddit that shares plenty of gorgeous creations of its own. We recently got a build inspired by For Honor, and now we can add a popular location from The Witcher to that list. Reddit user m3k6c9hl has shared some impressive in-progress shots of their build of The Witcher 3's Kaer Trolde. The impressive structure is nestled into the side of a snowy mountain, offering a clear view of all the surrounding lands - that is, when the weather suits. Plenty is going on inside, too. M3k6c9hl has put together an impressive-looking banquet hall with a horseshoe of long tables looking into a central feast. If you need a refresher, the port city Kaer Trolde sits on the coast of Ard Skellig in The Witcher. The Jarl of Skellige's fleet use the port as a dock, so longships and triremes are a common sight. A castle, the city's citadel and seat of the jarls of Clan an Craite, provides the inspiration for this build so far. PCGamesN Monday, January 17, 2022 4:26 AM  2022 is here, League of Legends fans, which means another year packed with gameplay updates, new champions to welcome to the MOBA game, and plenty of new skins. League of Legends patch 12.1 has headed to live servers, bringing a handful of item and champ changes and some snazzy new Elderwood skins. Now, it's time to see what the second patch of the Season 12 League of Legends patch schedule will bring. The big news for 12.2 is the arrival of brand-new champion, Zeri. It seems she might have made a slightly premature debut as her universe and biography pages (which went live January 4) appear to have now been taken down, though we have an idea of what she's all about from the details that were offered in these when live. As reported by Surrenderat20, Zeri will be known as The Spark of Zaun, and will be a marksman champ who "channels her electric magic to charge herself and her custom-crafted gun". We don't know anything about her abilities beyond a few hints in the bio and universe info, but you can check out a fuller description in Zeri's section below. Patch 12.2 also brings a whole bunch of new champion skins. Akshan and Janna are getting Crystal Rose skins, while Elise is getting a Withered Rose style. Then there are plenty of Porcelain and Firecracker skins to go around for others. You can take a look at all of these in the notes below. A speedrunner beat Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice in just over two hours, which frankly is impressive enough to me. More than that, the runner known as "Mitchriz" was blindfolded from start to finish, guided by a combination of memory and feeling-out environments. In two hours! Ludicrious. |

From Kratos in God Of War, to Joel in The Last Of Us, and even less story-focused murder dads like Soldier 76, dudes rock. Successfully rehabilitated and reimagined as father figures struggling to inhabit that role and accept their emotions, in some very good games to boot. Developers who were hot young guns in the 00s are now tired middle-aged dads themselves, and as a result the art they consume and, more to the point, the art they want to make looks radically different. I'm not having a go at that; that's just life, is what that is. But what I'm asking is, what's the mum equivalent? Because I really want to see someone give a mum story the same big budget, fun epic treatment that Kratos got in God Of War. At the same time, I also dread this coming to pass. |

A few would-be players, however, found themselves unable to play, with the game throwing up "out of memory" error messages when they really shouldn't be out of memory. The devs have been looking into the issue, and released a potential fix on an opt-in experimental branch on Steam. It sounds like it fixes the problem for some people, but not all. |
