Should you steal a Fwooper feather in Hogwarts Legacy?

Knowing whether to steal the Hogwarts Legacy Fwooper feather for Garreth in Potions class is a tricky one because, on one hand, you want to give a good first impression to Professor Sharp as the new fifth-year student. On the other hand, Garreth's "spectacular" potion is sure to be excellent, and you want to make friends and allies during your time at Hogwarts.

This isn't the only decision you'll need to make in Hogwarts Legacy, but it is one of the earliest, and Garreth does make a good case for himself in the RPG game. It's fairly simple to steal the feather - all you need to do is pick it up when you enter Sharp's office, alongside the ingredients you're actually in there for - but will you get in trouble? Here are the two outcomes of the Potions class decision on whether to steal the Fwooper feather in Hogwarts Legacy or not.

Minecraft potions exist to aid you in difficult moments or give you interesting and useful status effects. For example, the potion of fire resistance can stop you from dying from exposure to lava. Meanwhile, a night vision potion can help you see in the dark and underwater. Then, there's the very important potion of weakness, which does what it says on the tin but is also used to cure a Zombie Villager of their… undeadness.

While you might think Minecraft enchantments are all you need to boost your survival rates in the survival game, don't underestimate the power of a well-timed splash potion or the chug of a strength potion. I'm not a big fan of fighting for my survival while being chased by a horde of mutant cannibals in games, so I basically wrote off Sons Of The Forest as not really my thing and moved on with my life. Cut to a couple of weeks after release and I'm having an absolute whale of a time in Endnight Games' survival horror - and it's all thanks to sweet, succulent blueberries.

It all started when I learned that Sons Of The Forest has a peaceful mode, which completely removes all the gross, yucky cannibals, leaving you to grapple with survival in relative peace and quiet. The first time I met up with Kelvin and we got to work, casually making our shitty shelter and stick storage, I perused the guidebook to see what's next, and I spotted a planter. A planter? Okay, so I assume you can plant seeds and grow food, then? That's really co-WAIT, wait, wait. You're telling me this is basically a farming sim?

The Sims 4 recently spawned infants into its life sim sandbox via a free update, and the substantial Growing Together expansion. The latest Steam Deck client update has added Valve's local network game transfers feature – previously only available in beta form – to the Stable branch, marking a full launch for one of the most useful Steam Deck feature upgrades in months.

If you missed the local transfers beta release last month, know that the name is quite literal: it lets you transfer Steam game installs between your PC and your Steam Deck over a local network, rather than having to re-download them onto every device you own. It also works when transferring between a Steam Deck and another Steam Deck, or between two PCs. Valve have a little explainer here, but it's simple enough that – for example – hitting the Install button for a game on your Steam Deck will automatically detect if your PC is on the same network, and start transferring as much as it can from the desktop instead of downloading the whole thing from scratch.

You can even opt into sending/receiving game data from PCs and Steam Decks owned by other people, so long as they're also connected to the same local network. The biggest benefit seemingly comes to those with monthly data caps (morning, Yanks), as these transfers won't usually involve any extra downloads. Even so, it's a helpful addition for anyone on all-you-can-eat data as well, since local transfers are much faster than old fashioned installs.

tales of asteria end

After around nine years, Tales of Asteria will end service on May 18, 2023. However, Bandai Namco will release items such as a memorial book for players to keep their memories of the game alive. In addition, Tales of Asteria players who also play Tales of the Rays, or those who will move onto that game, will also be able to transfer some data over. [Thanks, Inside!]

Bandai Namco has not stated the reason behind why Tales of Asteria will end. In the tweet announcing it, it thanked the fans for their long years of support and playing since 2014. Because the game went on for so long, the staff came up with several ways to immortalize it. It will release a memorial book, stream music from the game, and allow you to put illustrations from Astaria as your home window in The Rays. You will have until June 19, 2023 to transfer your data to The Rays.

As for the memorial book, it will cost 8,000 JPY ($60.20). The Asobi Store version will cost 9,800 ($73.80) JPY. It contains full illustrations of characters 4-star and above, with some exceptions. The Asobi Store version will come with a 160-page book of the costume designs. The memorial book, which is B5-size, will have 540 pages. Pre-orders are open until June 25, 2023 and the book will ship out after Summer 2023.

Tales of Asteria is a turn-based mobile game focusing on characters from the Tales series. Unlike ones such as Tales of the Rays, it mostly centers on established characters. Like the Radiant Mythology games, they have different backgrounds from their canon ones. This is so that them all sharing the same universe feels natural. Each chapter focuses on separate key characters, and you can choose whose POV you wish to experience the story from. The current story will conclude at the end of April 2023 and the Finale Scenario will start from May.

Tales of Asteria will end on May 18, 2023. Until then, it is available on mobile devices in Japan.

Stranger of Paradise Steam Release and Price Drop Announced

A Square Enix game's Epic Games Store exclusivity is about to end. The company announced Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is coming PCs via Steam at the same time as a price drop across all platforms. The new price for the game, which was originally $59.99, hasn't been announced as of 10am ET on March 16, 2023. However, the Steam version will debut on April 6, 2023.

Here's the official announcement, which is accompanied by a new trailer. As a reminder, this is an alternate take on the original Final Fantasy story, with Jack and his allies setting off to defeat Chaos. Rather than a turn-based RPG, it is more like a Soulslike. Jack is able to take on different classes to augment his abilities.

Note that if you're unfamiliar with the game, there will be spoilers in the new video below. It doesn't mention the new Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin price either.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. Tetsuya Nomura previously discussed the possibility of a sequel.

Final Fantasy XIV: Eorzea Academy English Localization Announced

The Final Fantasy XIV: Eorzea Academy manga will get an English localization. Square Enix announced it will release the title outside Japan on September 19, 2023. There's no exact release date yet for the alternate reality tale. However, the company did share a teaser for the cover art, which shows the twins Alisaie and Alphinaud Leveilleur in their school uniforms. It isn't the final art, however, as it is essentially the Japanese one.

For those unfamiliar, the Final Fantasy XIV: Eorzea Academy manga is set in an alternate reality. In it, the Scions of the Seventh Dawn and other major characters are all students and teachers at a high school. They go through more slice-of-life sorts of affairs, though their personalities tend to remain intact from the MMORPG. However, there's some conflict, as the new academy ended up merging the Academy of Light and the Academy of Darkness students together with the expectation everyone would get along.

The manga first started to appear in December 2021 in Japan. Back in December 2022, Square Enix announced the chapters would be collected in a physical volume. That launched in Japan in February 2023.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. The Final Fantasy XIV: Eorzea Academy manga will appear in English in September 2023.

genshin impact shenhe ayaka re-run

HoYoVerse revealed the date for the Shenhe and Ayaka re-run banners in Genshin Impact, which will include the new four-star Mika. The returning four-stars Diona and Sucrose will also appear. You will be able to pull for them from March 21, 2023. These are the banners for the second half of Genshin Impact Version 3.5. As well, their signature weapons—Mistsplitter Reforged and Calamity Queller—will return in the banner for those who want them.

https://twitter.com/GenshinImpact/status/1636276124186443777

Since Shenhe and Ayaka are limited characters, you can only pull for them when they are on re-run. Ayaka is one of the most powerful Cryo DPS characters as of the time of writing, whereas Shenhe is an incredibly useful Cryo-oriented support. Like Shenhe, Mika will be a polearm Cryo character, and he will also fill a support niche in your party. His Skill can increase attack speed and physical damage, whereas his Elemental Burst can heal allies.

The first two banners of Genshin Impact Version 3.5, which are still available, feature Dehya and Cyno. Though Cyno is also a re-run character, Dehya is a new 5-star Pyro Claymore user. The Windblume Festival, which is the flagship event, is still ongoing, as is the Vibro-Crystal Verification Event. These events include Primogems as rewards.

Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. The Ayaka and Shenhe banners will go live in Genshin Impact from March 21, 2023 to April 11, 2023.

American Truck Simulator Update 1 47 Beta ImageSCS Software has dropped Open Beta access for both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 for version 1.47. Many of the new features and improvements included with this update apply equally to both titles, but there are a few exclusive bits of content made specifically for each of these truck sims. 1.47 Open Beta brings QOL updates for American and Euro Truck Simulator In terms of shared new features, there plenty. The games now include random road bumps, a new 'world ambient sounds' and direction filter, the addition of adaptive cruise control & EB, the ability to own your own gas cisterns, and a career history UI redesign. The random road bumps are described as being "procedurally generated" and won't actually be visible to the player. That said, you will feel and hear them as they affect your truck; not too dissimilar to the random pot hole that you plead you didn't see (we've all been there). Opposite of driving hazards ...

Diablo 3: How to upgrade a Legendary item using Kanai's Cube Recipe featuredWith the release of Season 28 in Diablo 3, a few little tweaks and additions were made to the game. One of the more notable ones was the Altar of Rites which allowed players to equip Legendary potions to bring even more pain to their enemies. To upgrade your Legendary item, you will need 100 Primordial Ashes and one non-crafted Legendary item. Once you have these items, simply drop them into the cube and hey presto...

Razer's approach to designing the Blackwidow V4 Pro was to throw everything at it, a fitting plan for anything with the word 'Pro' in its name. It's a mechanical keyboard that dominates your desk thanks to it being slightly larger than a regular full-sized board and being adorned with enough lights to confuse a UFO into thinking it's a friend. It's peppered with macro keys, has great mechanical switches and comes with a super comfy wrist rest. But all the bells and whistles equal a hefty price of around £230, which makes my bank card quiver in fear and my heart skip a beat or ten.
