Welcome to the Week in Review
Welcome
You can have too much of a good thing, so the saying goes, but that's nonsense: after Apple's big event last week, the tech gods bestowed upon us three more massive launches, from Amazon, Microsoft, and Intel. We were at all of them – and we loved every second of them.

Well, I say that, but I didn't actually attend any of them. Poor Lance Ulanoff, my US counterpart, spent the week tearing across the States, covering both Amazon and Microsoft for us. You'll find his hands-on verdicts on some of the newly announced products below.

Of course seasoned Apple-watchers will know that the fun and games don't end after Tim Cook walks off stage, and this week we'e published our reviews of the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro Max and iOS 17, plus hands-on reviews of both new Apple Watches. I won't spoil the surprise here, but let's just say you're going to want to buy a Pro Max if you can afford it – and install iOS 17 on whatever phone you're rocking.

Until next week,

Marc McLaren, UK Editor-in-Chief
