PCGamesN Friday, March 21, 2025 2:58 PM ![]() What are the best farming games on PC? There's something about the repetitive nature of tilling and planting a field. Witnessing the slow payoff of your crops growing makes you feel in tune with nature - even if you are still sitting in front of your computer screen. The best farming games on PC can vary a lot in genre and gameplay, but all eventually come down to getting your hands dirty. Some of the best PC games that include farming are meant to be experienced alone and focus on the relationships between your protagonist and a cast of local characters. Others, like multiplayer games Staxel and Farm Together, are all about building something with friends and the fun of creating something together that's more than a prewritten story, so the genre is still full of variation. Whether they're cute and casual town games like Stardew Valley or more realistic business ventures like the Farming Simulator series, we've found a mix of the best farming games that should hit every quadrant of the agricultural games graph. Unfortunately, it's also a frustrating device to use at times, but I would still recommend it to anyone who is interested in entering the world of handheld gaming PCs or is looking for a major power upgrade from the Steam Deck. The Ayaneo 3 is easily one of the best handheld gaming PCs compared to its rivals, that being other Windows-based devices. The level of freedom I have on this handheld is refreshing, and if lessons are learned from the few shortfalls the Ayaneo 3 possesses, future devices have a chance of truly dethroning Valve, the Steam Deck, and possibly even SteamOS in the handheld market. PCGamesN Friday, March 21, 2025 1:27 PM ![]() It looks like laptop gamers could seriously benefit from having the latest Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 gaming GPUs over last-gen models if you want the best frame rate. A benchmark demo, shown off by Nvidia at GDC 2025, shows a huge performance boost for the laptop RTX 5090 over the RTX 4090. However, with Nvidia DLSS 4 upscaling improvements and multi-frame generation seemingly responsible, the picture isn't as clear cut as Nvidia might want us to believe, given that technology that isn't available in every game. This interesting comparison does show just how big of an uplift the Nvidia tech has on performance between two Razer Blade laptops, among the best gaming laptops you can buy, using current and last-gen GPUs. While the desktop RTX 5090 hasn't seen the biggest leap in raw performance, this data shows that Nvidia's work on improving the software side could see bigger dividends on laptops over the long term, which have tighter constraints on power consumption than their desktop counterparts. Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Friday, March 21, 2025 12:26 PM ![]() Who can say what made Ubisoft change their minds on Steam Deck support for Assassin's Creed Shadows, the pretty good samurai stealther that previously stated an intention to go without. Perhaps a high-ranking executive, visiting family to invite them to a trip on his spare yacht, had his frozen heart melted by the sight of a Naoe-cosplaying granddaughter clutching a Steam Deck OLED in her clearly-too-small-for-it hands. Perhaps. It works, is the main thing. And works well – remarkably well, actually, considering not just the previous denial and 11th hour U-turn, but the game's high PC system requirements and at least partially mandatory ray tracing. This does come at the cost of a severely stripped-down quality settings menu, and you'll still need to sign into a Ubisoft Connect account even if you own Shadows on Steam, but there's no doubt that its Steam Deck Verified status is deserved. |

Gameduchy released Iron Saga VS on PC via Steam. This new title is a fighting game featuring mechs from the Iron Saga mobile game and crossover guests from classic Super Robot anime shows like Mazinger Z, Getter Robo, and Dancouga - Super Beast Machine God.
This franchise has its origins in the mobile game Battle Mecha Iron Saga. It appeared first in China in 2017, with foreign localizations gradually appearing in Japan and Korea in 2018, as well as globally in English in late 2019. The original mobile game has also been known to regularly host crossover events featuring Japanese robot anime titles that are also often featured in Bandai Namco's Super Robot Wars series.
Iron Saga VS launches with twelve playable robots. Seven of them are original mechs from Iron Saga, such as the Vassago, Kaguya, Qing Long, Susanoo, Mephisto, Wu Shuang, and Nero. The remaining five are crossover guests from classic Japanese anime titles. The Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, and Boss Borot from the Mazinger series join the roster along with Getter Robo and Dancouga.
However, the new game's release will not mark the end of its promotions. Gameduchy has also uploaded a launch trailer that newly reveals a roadmap for future post-launch content for the game throughout 2025. The company will release two DLC packs that unlock the Shin Getter Robo and Zeorymer of Heaven in mid-June 2025 and Winter 2025, respectively. While support for new Splatoon 3 events and items ended back in September 2024, Nintendo confirmed the 2025 Spring Fest Splatfest will return to the game and include items that debuted in Splatoon 2. The event runs between April 11-13, 2025, and the items will be available via the News section on a Nintendo Switch for people who own the game.
In the case of the Splatoon 3 Spring Fest Splatfest for 2025, the question is "When do you get things done?" The options are Morning, Afternoon, and Night. If it follows the usual pattern, Shiver should be tied to "Morning," Frye will be the representative for "Afternoon," and Big Man represents "Night."
The theme is entirely new and different from last year's event. In 2024, the question involved spring fluffiness and asked players to select which type of animal support. The teams were Shiver and Baby Chicks, Frye and Lil' Bunnies, and Big Man and Bear Cubs. That ran between April 20-22, 2025, and the Bear Cubs ended up winning.
As for the free Inkling and Octoling customization items, you need to find the Splatoon 3 Spring Fest announcement in the News section on your Nintendo Switch to claim the Splatoon 2 clothing. The company shared two images on social media highlighting how all 12 items look in-game. All of them are hats and shoes, so you can wear them with the Splatfest t-shirts. Here's what we can claim:
As you can see, the shoes tend to all have an Off the Hook theme and are based on Pearl and Marina.
Here's how all of those items look:

Bleach Rebirth of Souls launched for consoles and the PC via Steam, and Bandai Namco confirmed it is aware of many PC crash reports. It announced Tamsoft is working on a patch and also shared a few possible solutions that might help in the meantime. The console versions don't seem to be affected.
There are two times when people tend to be experiencing a crash or other problem impeding play in the PC version of Bleach Rebirth of Souls bought via Steam. One involves it crashing immediately after the introduction and seeing the Bandai Namco and Tamsoft logos. This might be tied to using multiple monitors. If you do, Bandai Namco says not to switch between them. The other option might involve only seeing a red screen or the game crashing. The solution there is to change the Graphic Quality setting.
Here are the exact instructions Bandai Namco shared for the graphic adjustment that might fix one problem:
Bandai Namco also requested anyone filing crash reports provide two pieces of information. One is to share the Windows system software version by sharing the edition of windows, the version, and the OS build. It also asked if you are using the Quality, Balanced, or Performance Graphic Quality option.
As of 12:30pm ET on March 21, 2025, over 1,100 comments appeared in a Steam discussion thread about the Bleach Rebirth of Souls PC crash reports. People also reported issues with shaders, audio not playing properly, and frame rate issues.
Bleach Rebirth of Souls will come to the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on March 21, 2025. The Bleach anime, including Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, are streaming on on Disney+ and Hulu. Viz Media handles the manga series outside of Japan.

Most notable is that all of the missing hauntings that would show up in the latter half of the game are back. It also supports modern controllers. It is designed to greater resemble brightness and gamma from the PS2 release too. Past additions included cloud saves and 30fps cutscenes.

GOG Preservation Program is a new initiative for the company. It kicked off with games like Dino Crisis 1 and 2. Pocketpair has published the results of the Palworld global popularity poll. Zoe won the overall poll, and the company will make her a recruitable ally character in a future update patch for Palworld.
The company launched the poll worldwide in late January 2025. It let people vote for any Pals and faction leader characters who have appeared in the game. There was also a secondary poll where participants had to narrow down their votes to three.
Zoe won the initial overall ranking with 31,535 votes. Meanwhile, Chillet, Jetragon, and Anubis comprise the top three list of the secondary poll, which has since been named the Favorite Pal Ranking. Pocketpair will also mark the results by releasing commemorative skins for all three winning Pals.
Zoe is not the only human character to make an impact in this Palworld poll. Saya and Lily rounded up the top three of the overall ranking, and they also made their way to the top ten list of the Favorite Pal ranking. But despite these achievements, it still remains to be seen whether Saya and Lily will also be made into recruitable allies in future updates or not.
Palworld is readily available worldwide on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Mac. Pocketpair has also released an update patch that enables crossplay on all aforementioned platforms.

It's been a while since there's been a Rune Factory spin-off game, but Marvelous is bringing that idea back with Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma. This installment features a new setting, new gameplay elements, and a whole new region that feels inspired by Asian cultures. To learn more about what to expect from this installment, Siliconera spoke to Producer Fujii Hisashi about Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, its development, its world, its characters, and what it's like to romance a love interest and have children.
So when did development on Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma begin?
Hisashi Fujii: Development started in September 2021.
How did the different regions and cultures in Japan help shape depictions of the regions in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma?
Fujii: Specific examples aren't coming to mind, but there are, of course, areas in the game that were inspired by specific areas in Japan. And, I'm sorry, just to help clarify, while there's undoubtedly influence from Japan, it's not intended to be Japan. It has a lot of Asian influences. It isn't meant to be one-to-one with Japan.
![]()
In the case of the monsters, how did you ensure that the new ones would fit in with the new region while still blending in with existing Rune Factory monsters from past games that make an appearance here?
Fujii: Regarding the monsters that are new to the game, many of them were inspired by classic yokai from Japanese folklore, such as the kappa and the karasu tengu, the crow tengu. And so that's kind of where the inspiration for the new monsters came from.
Are there any regional variants of returning monsters? Like, is there a new version of the Buffamoo based on the new locations in the game and the new seasons? Or is there just one type of Buffamoo, one type of Wooly, and that kind of thing.
Fujii: It's a mixture of both. There are monsters in the game, such as the Woolys, that are, essentially, globally the same between Azuma and the world of the previous Rune Factory games, and then there are some monsters that have slight variations based on being in Azuma, such as color variations or slight appearance variations.
![]()
In Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, there's a really big city management and building element. How did you come up with that idea? What kinds of challenges did you face when implementing that and keeping it balanced with all the other farming and fighting elements?
Fujii: Regarding the village building elements in the game, a core theme in the Rune Factory series is the idea of the Earthmate using their power to restore the Earth. And a big part of that, and part of the reason why we created this feature, is because we wanted a part of that to be not just restoring the Earth, but restoring the villages that the characters live in. Also to give players the ability to restore them as they see fit or to customzie them to their liking. So that was the impetus for creating the feature.
A number of the bachelors and bachelorettes of Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma are gods and goddesses. How did mythology shape their specific designs, abilities, and personalities?
Fujii: There are marriage candidates who were inspired by existing Japanese myths and gods, but that's really not all there is to it. There's really a lot of influence in various elements of their design. To give one specific example, the god of summer Matsuri. Her outfits are inspired by traditional Okinawan outfits, and her motif is the Okinawan hibiscus flower.

In the Rune Factory series, there are always a lot of romance options and opportunities to have relationship events when you're starting to get together, when you're dating, and when you're married. Is that going to happen with Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma where there will be romance events continuing to happen even after you make a commitment?
Fujii: Pre-dating and post-dating, the scenarios are clearly divided. Before you start dating, you have the events to build your bonds with various characters. And the way of building these bonds is different from after you confess and actually start dating. And once you start dating, you'll have date events. So that's clearly demarcated within the scheme. And then also, of course after you get married, there are events around having a child. But there's not a specific post-marriage scenario outside of just living together, having a child, and sort of the daily interactions.
Speaking of having a child, considering how you can assign people to work in town, can you put your child to work when they grow up and come of age in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma? Since you can have multiple people with you going into dungeons now, can your child become one of your allies? Can it be like a whole family trip?
Fujii: You can have up to two children in the game. The children can't be put to work in town. You can't assign them tasks, but you can bring them on adventures with you as party members. And as with the other major NPCs in the game, you can raise your bond level with your children and through interactions and gifts. And also, bringing them with you will raise their bond level. As their bond level goes up, there will be certain skills that are unlocked that they can use in battle. And that's true of all the NPCs you can bring with you.
I noticed when you have your allies in battle, there can be party banter. Are there going to be romantic rivals for the player in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma if there are characters who seem like they kind of get along like in older Story of Seasons games' rival marriage?
Fujii: There is no rival marriage in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, but as you noticed, there are many different variations on battle dialogue that can play depending on which characters are accompanying you into battle. If a character has a good relationship with another character within the game setting, then there may be a very specific dialogue that will play between them in battle. So we think that really players of the game can enjoy experiencing just how many kinds of variations on these battle dialogues there are.
Also, which characters are friends with other characters is something that's set within the game. It's not something that the player can necessarily influence.
How did Rune Factory 5 feedback shape Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma?
Fujii: As the development team, we took the feedback we received from users on Rune Factory 5 very seriously and made our best effort to improve some elements in Guardians of Azuma.
Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma will come to the Nintendo Switch and PC on May 30, 2025.

There's a lot going on with Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma! It's a new entry in the series, but also a spin-off. It's adding a new type of gameplay, given we actually build up towns. There's also the whole thing of the previous entry experiencing some issues. However, this new game seems like a new opportunity and, after some hands-on time with it, makes it seem the team learned learn from past missteps and mistakes.
In Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, players step into the shoes of an Earth Dancer. It's a special kind of warrior not unlike an Earthmate. They are connected to the land and able to heal and foster its growth. Which is good, as a blight hit Azuma affecting many villages there. This means using sacred treasures to grow crops, banish corruption, and fight foes.
When I first stepped into Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma for the demo, town management and farming were the focus. You'll need to get necessary items to build up a village and place buildings or plots of land for farming. These affect the Earth Dancer, for example increasing HP. It can also mean new items are available to buy or access, and adding fields provide chances to grow crops. After land is cleared and places are built, citizens who returned to the area can be assigned jobs or roles to help out. They may have abilities or traits that make them specifically suited to certain tasks.
As part of this prep, the sacred treasures came into play. For example, an umbrella could be used for water-based attacks in a fight or to gently glide from one elevated landmass to another, or you could use it to water crops. A drum? It could be used to attack and heal or to speed up growth by one day. There's a sense of connection, so I could see how everything's purpose could change and provide different benefits based on context. It also seemed great for ensuring there was no clutter among the tools. Especially since each piece of equipment would also be used to banish a certain type of corrupted growth, indicated by color.
When it comes to fighting, these treasures are more of a prized resource due to needing energy to be used. As such, every Earth Dancer relies on one of those equipped pieces alongside a secondary weapon that doesn't require any type of saved stamina to use. These can be melee ones, like the traditional swords from past Rune Factory games, or new ones like a ranged type of talisman like a Touhou Project danmaku. I got to test out these, as well as see how a full party of four worked in-action, in a cleared dungeon. You can have up to three people join you in your quest. In this case, the Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma romance options Murasame, Iroha, and Ulalaka were by my side. Each is designed to take on certain roles based on their personality, so Murasame was an aggressive warrior and Iroha was more of a tank-type. Heading in meant facing various monsters inspired by yokai, as well as facing an equine boss. Said boss could also be staggered and temporarily stunned by exploiting weaknesses, with the sword sacred treasure and its fire attack proving critical for that.

![]()
While developing the land and quickly running through a dungeon were the initial focuses of my Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma demo experience, romance with some characters came up as well. The two scenes I got to see involved the bachelor Murasame and the bachelorette Iroha. He's a warrior who ended up needing to survive on his own in the wild for a time, and the event with him focused on that. Meanwhile, Iroha runs a teahouse, and hers ended up being a mix of making it a success and luring in more people to the town she loved. In each case, it felt like the characters got to be the focus, which is exactly what I feel we want from these heart events. Also, I appreciated the quality of life adjustment tied to finding them. When both were available, I could see special icons on the map highlighting that I could get to know them better and further our relationship.
It seems like ensuring the four core gameplay elements of Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma are well-balanced could prove critical to ensuring this entry's success. We aren't just farming, fighting, and finding love anymore. A whole region's success depends on us managing rebuilding efforts. It should prove interesting to see how well that goes.
Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma will come to the Nintendo Switch and PC on May 30, 2025.

If you can afford to complete the SBC, it could be well worth the effort. If you're on a lower budget, the Trinity Rodman FUT Birthday SBC is a good alternative.

A niche game on Steam seems to have figured out exactly how to do early access right, and players are loving it.
In an era when many games linger in early access for years, often using it as an excuse to slowly add features or deliver constant updates, it's refreshing to see a game spend only a short time there, handle player feedback well, and nearly double its player count upon full release.
Realistic snowmobile simulator Sledders released after 15 months of early access
Sledders is a realistic snowmobile simulator game, about as niche as it gets. It first released on Dec. 5, 2023 on early access on Steam and is now a full game as of March 20.
Players get to experience what I'll believe to be authentic snowmobile driving—I'll probably never know for sure—complete with realistic physics and actual snowmobile sounds.
Despite its very specific theme, Sledders hit over 1,800 peak players on Steam after its release on March 20—almost double its early access peak—and earned an impressive average of 91% positive reviews in the last 30 days with 97% positive reviews on launch day. It even became SteamDB's best-rated release this week.
Even though snowmobiles aren't exactly common worldwide—many countries don't even have snow, let alone people who ride snowmobiles—Sledders might have found the same sweet spot as Eurotruck Simulator. Just as Eurotruck Simulator attracts many players who aren't truck drivers in real life, Sledders could appeal to enthusiasts who enjoy realistic experiences.
Early reviews suggest the game is a bit hard to start but fun to play, which is the sweet spot for simulators. If it's too easy, it doesn't feel real. If it's too hard, it becomes frustrating.
Snowmobile enthusiasts helped make Sledders
A developer shared on the snowmobiling Reddit community why Sledders has connected so well with players. It turns out one of the developers is a real snowmobile expert who previously ran a snowmobile shop and even recorded real engine sounds to ensure maximum realism.
Sledders is also available on Xbox and PS5 for $34.99.

Even though Naoe remains guarded and composed, she allows her defenses to crumble when it comes to her two potential love interests. Katsuhime is one of those characters you can swoon, embodying a timeless "rivals to lovers" arc. Find out how to romance and recruit Katsuhime in Assassin's Creed: Shadows.
Table of contents
AC Shadows Katsuhime romance guide
You can charm your way to Katsuhime's heart during six quests, where you must choose specific dialogue points. The first mission won't be as steamy as the others, as this will be the first time you meet her (got to start somewhere, right?) Let's break down all the talking points you need to hit to romance Katsuhime in AC: Shadows:
The romance dialogue choices typically come up during each mission's conclusion. That means you'll have to go against several challenging enemies, all in the name of love. If you aren't sure how to complete these quests, we'll go over each one to help you get through them.
How to complete Against the Koga-ryu quest
You can start the Against the Koga-ryu mission from the main campaign questline, The Naginata. This enemy is a part of the Onryo hit list Naoe and Yasuke have been knocking out together.
![]()
You'll meet Katsuhime at the top of Enryakuji Temple in Omi. Defeat the four enemies there, and you'll earn the Sharpshooter trophy once the quest wraps up.
![]()
How to complete Showdown in Sakamoto
The Showdown in Sakamoto quest will trigger right after the Against the Koga-ryu quest. You must locate Shotei at the top of Sakamoto Tower (above the town). You'll switch to Yasuke as you take down the boss, Gamo Yoshimitsu. Then, you'll gain control of Naoe, where you can make your first romance choice. Tell her that you like her teppo, and things will start to heat up between the two of you.
![]()
It'll get even hotter when you have to destroy the three explosives shortly after, utilizing Naoe's Kunais. You can avoid conflict by aiming for the explosives on top of buildings. The last two steps require you to meet up with Katsuhime again and eliminate the boss, Akechi Kagemitsu.
How to complete Letter from Katsuhime
With the Showdown in Sakamoto quest out of the way, you should now see Katsuhime's new quest on the Objectives board. It'll be under the League section near Yaya's recruit quest.
![]()
Track the Letter from Katsuhime's quest and travel to Omi's The Shimmering Fields. You'll have to retrieve some sake for her in Koga. Look for a ladder here leading underground.
![]()
Pick up the sake and return to Katsuhime. The second romance choice appears at this point, in which you must choose "It offers time with me."
How to complete The Tale of Genin
The Tale of Genin quest brings a challenge, as the enemies may be at Level 29 (can be higher depending on your level). Be sure to upgrade your weapons with resources or gold. You'll have to go to Wakasa, one of the most difficult provinces in Assassin's Creed Shadows. Travel to Katsuhime's waypoint and help her investigate what happened to her friends.
![]()
Find three signs of struggle: one inside the house, one outside, and the last across the bridge (following a blood trail). You can also talk to the man outside the home to gather more information.
![]()
Kill the four pirates at the end of the path, and then check on Sada for the next romance dialogue point. Tell Katsuhime, "I do enjoy your company," to move on to the following stage of Naoe's romance journey.
How to complete The Diary of Lady Rokkaku
Once you've begun the Diary of Lady Rokkaku, Naoe's shot at love is within your grasp. Head over to Omi, where you'll find a letter from Katsuhime.
![]()
She's gone and got herself in trouble, so you must rescue her from Isono Kazumasa. It's absolutely crucial to save Katsuhime as quickly as possible to keep her from dying. You're under a time crunch here, so don't bother fighting any enemies and use the rooftops/platforms ahead to reach her.
![]()
Eliminate Isono Kazumasa and other enemies to get them away from Katsuhime. Next, carry her to the lower-level doorway, but be careful of the other foes ahead.
![]()
I suggest setting her down and getting rid of anyone in this pathway. After you've carried her out the doorway, you now have the option to recruit Katsuhime. Before this happens, she'll want to meet with you elsewhere, where you'll finally get the romance scene.
How to complete The Jounin Pillow Book
The Jounin Pillow Book quest is a pretty straightforward one since you'll have all the romance choices laid out in front of you. Return to Wakasa to find Katsuhime on the northern side of this province.
![]()
I won't reveal any spoilers, but let's just say things get reasonably intense when you tell Katsuhime, "Let's find out." There's also a second choice that allows you to seal the deal as her one and only or reject her. Naoe does have one another romantic interest, so it's up to you whether you want to stay faithful to Katsuhime or get your flirt on with someone else.
How to recruit Katsuhime in AC Shadows
You can recruit Katsuhime during The Diary of Lady Rokkaku quest, requiring you to rescue her. As long as you've saved her, she'll be grateful to you and willingly accept your offer to join the team. If you romanced her, you'll unlock the additional side mission, The Jounin Pillow Book. But if you just kept things friendly, you'll simply find her at the Hideout.
![]()
Katsuhime is an excellent teppo specialist who takes on the role of your fire support in battles. Call on her anytime there are too many enemies to deal with, and she'll prove her worthiness through her one-shot kills.

Assassin's Creed Shadows had a surprisingly smooth release, considering the history of Assassin's Creed releases.
For a game series that had some nightmare-fuel glitches, like characters in AC Unity losing their entire face and making eyes float into the air, the glitches that we're seeing in Shadows' early days, just a few hours after release, are just okay to deal with.
It's nothing that breaks the game, which is proven by players rating the game positively as well as critics giving it an average 8/10, showing that whatever issues that are happening aren't really disturbing the gameplay.
There's one glitch, though, that has been found by several Assassin's Creed Shadows players, and it's actually quite funny and a bit scary if you look too closely into it.
Petting the dog in AC Shadows makes the dog stand up and freeze
A player shared a video of them petting a dog in AC Shadows at night, and as they approach the dog, the dog simply stands in a T-pose and keeps standing while the player pets the air, almost as if they are channeling something between their hands instead of actually petting the dog.
So while Naomi thinks there is a dog there, the dog is standing still, frozen in mid-air next to her while his spirit is being pet in front of her.
This glitch is harmless because this is not a fight scene and this doesn't break anything in the game, so it's just funny that this interaction can happen. But it's also likely that if it gains too much attention, Ubisoft will soon patch it because, of course, it kills some of the immersion of the game.
Still, the game has been topping sales charts and getting positive player reviews, despite some toxic players having some oddly weird behavior towards streamers, just because they don't like some of the choices Ubisoft made with the game.
However, nothing like this seems to be disturbing the community that much, and the game keeps featured in Steam's top seller list and beating the releases of other Assassin's Creed games that were on Steam before.

Signal Jammers are one of several collectibles available in GTA V. You are tasked with finding and destroying them to get a juicy reward at the end.
Here's where you can find all the signal jammers so that you can get yourself the goodies.
How to destroy the signal jammers in GTA Online
The signal jammers in GTA Online are little black devices with two antennae and red lights that blink incessantly. The lights will make them easier to spot at night, as does the continuous beeping tone they emit during the day.
![]()
The jammers can be destroyed in many ways, but since they are often at the top of antennae and towers, a sniper rifle is the best choice. The jammers are recognized as actual targets by homing missiles and similar weapons, which makes it easier to destroy them at a distance.
Where are all the signal jammers in GTA Online?
Overall, there are fifty signal jammers to destroy in GTA Online, and they can be found throughout the state of San Andreas.
For each jammer you take down, you get a small reward of $2.000 and 1.000 RP. After destroying them all, you get a final big reward of $50.000, and you will also get Avi Schwartzman as part of your support crew in the Diamond Casino heist.

In a suprising turn of events, TaleWorlds Entertainment has announced the first full-featured expansion pack for Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord. Titled War Sails, this new DLC is supposed to introduce a whole new dimension of warfare to the sandbox strategy/RPG hybrid, but is it going to work out?
Mount & Blade 2 has gone through a very long and arduous development process. It only launched in Steam Early Access back in March 2020, with a subsequent mild 1.0 release in October 2022, and there's not been much happening on that front ever since. With almost three years having gone by in a breeze, nobody really expected TaleWorlds to suddenly announce a huge new DLC, but here we are, with War Sails in tow. Though the Viking aesthetic commands the announcement trailer, there's much more to War Sails than just that, and it is poised to revitalize Bannerlord's tired old gameplay loop.
Can the War Sails DLC rejuvenate Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord?
Bannerlord: War Sails is due to release on June 17, 2025, and its feature list is nothing if not impressive:
Crucially, naval combat is supposed to be fully physics-driven, with the behavior of the sea and wind greatly affecting the vessels' performance in combat. Ramming will be a thing, too, with dynamic boarding parties and other related features coming into their own in close-quarters combat.
Frankly, War Sails sounds much more promising and exhaustive than I'd have dared to expect from a Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord DLC. Make no mistake: this is a genuinely good game with a thriving modding community, it's just that it's a kind of a reinvention of the original Mount & Blade games rather than its own thing. War Sails is the first time we're seeing something genuinely novel and exciting from TaleWorlds, and though there's every chance the expansion pack ends up falling flat on its face, the alternative is that it finally elevates the game to a whole new level.
Of course, War Sails' more-or-less imminent release means that all of our Mount & Blade 2 modlists are about to get broken. To that end, if you're looking to experience the game anew in mid-June with the DLC in tow, I recommend wiping your modlist clean and maybe even reinstalling the whole thing just to be safe. This may well be the Big Thing Mount & Blade 2 fans have been waiting for, so I've got my fingers crossed for TaleWorlds this time around.

As each new find plays a big role in helping the expedition understand the new land, capturing a good amount of rare endemic life forms can be just as important as hunting apex predators in Monster Hunter Wilds.
But although a few of them can be easy to spot, many others can make you wish you could just face a frenzied guardian instead. To help catch them all as soon as possible, here are all the rare endemic/aquatic life locations in Monster Hunter Wilds and how to display them.
Table of contents
All Windward Plains rare endemic life locations in Monster Hunter Wilds
We could find two exclusive rare endemic life specimens —the Sandstar and the Black Windrustler— while exploring the Windward Plains region in Monster Hunter Wilds. You can check out where to find both of them below.
Sandstar
A glowing creature who needed to be way cuter to make up for the frustration we had to endure to find it, you can find Sandstars in the upper portions of Area 13. They will only appear during the night and be exclusive to the Plenty and Fallow seasons, with the latter featuring way more frequent encounters. Here's the spot where we managed to find a Sandstar:
![]()
As they will move fast and spot you from a great distance, even if you are wearing the Ghillie Mantle, bring a few Screamer Pods to stagger your mark before throwing your net to capture it. Catching the Sandstar will award you the I Caught a Shooting Star trophy/achievement.
Black Windrustler
Another catch who is quick on their feet, you can find Black Windrustlers around areas 7, 8, and 10 of the plains during the season of Plenty. Although an extremely rare spawn, the small monster won't be hard to spot in the field, as its black scales will contrast with the environment. As you can see in the image below, we found the monster while in Area 7.
![]()
All Scarlet Forest rare endemic life locations in Monster Hunter Wilds
In the region that houses the biggest amount of rare endemic and aquatic life forms in Monster Hunter Wilds, you can find a total of seven different specimens while in the Scarlet Forest. As you can see below, most of them can be found during the Plenty season.
Hymstrigian
You can find the purple/rose-colored Hymstrigian in a branch at the center of the shallow river in Area 8. The season or time of day doesn't seem to matter that much here, although I could spot them significantly more often during the day and when on the season of Plenty. If you don't spot the bird after reaching the area, wait for a little while before resetting the environment, as they will often make a few rounds before returning to place.
![]()
Dazzlewing
Found exclusively during the season of Plenty, you can find Dazzlewings atop the remains of broken trees all over the Scarlet Forest, specifically within Areas 6 and 11. As a diurnal bird, they can only be spotted during the daytime, with their most common spot being atop the trunk below. Like the Hymstrigian, the Dazzlewing won't be easily startled and can be captured through a well-placed net throw.
![]()
Regal Jewel Scarab
You can find Regal Jewel Scarabs stuck in the trunks of large trees in Areas 2 and 3 of the Scarlet Forest. The catch is, the pink and gold insects can only be found on the Fallow and only seem to spawn on trees covered in the crimson sap. As you can see below, we were lucky enough to find them in one of the first trunks facing the region's Base Camp.
![]()
Goliath Squid
Only acquirable through fishing, you can spot the Goliath Squid on the large lake in Area 17 during Nighttime. Although I cannot say for sure if they are only available within a set season, I was able to spot them extremely often while in the season of Plenty. It's also important to point out that you can only catch the creature with the Tentacle Jigs bait. Once you capture the squid, you will unlock the exclusive Monster (Squid) Hunter Trophy/Achievement.
![]()
Petricanths
Another aquatic find: Petricanths in Monster Hunter Wilds on a small lake facing the Ruin Interior Camp in Area 16. The fish is more common during the season of Plenty and, unlike the Goliath Squid, can be captured with a simple net throw. Players also claimed to be able to find the fish in Oilwell Basin's Area 14, but I was unable to spot any there.
![]()
Curioshell Crab
Arguably the easiest rare endemic life specimen to find in Monster Hunter Wilds, you can find the Curioshell Crab by heading to the Underground Lake Camp in Area 8. Once there, you can spot the creature 8 out of 10 times by heading to the spot shown in the image below. Although it might be possible to spot them during every season, I had the most luck during the season of Plenty.
![]()
It is also possible to find the crab at Windward Plains, in the large area right of the Groundwater Vein Camp (Area 14). Upon getting the Curioshell Crab, you will unlock the A Prize Held High trophy/achievement.
Grand Escunite and Escunite
Also found at the Area 8 Underground Lake Camp and only during the season of Plenty, you can get a few Grand Escunites (and many regular Escunites) by fishing on the subterranean lake facing the campsite. The crustaceous won't be hard to spot via its larger frame, prominent color, and shape. Like the Petricanths, those tired of fishing in the usual way can get both variants of the aquatic specimen by using their nets.
![]()
All Oilwell Basin rare endemic life locations in Monster Hunter Wilds
You can find three rare endemic life specimens while exploring the Oilwell Basin region, with the Peony Sparklerjelly ranking among the game's hardest to find. Here's where to find and how to catch each of them:
Azure Rufflizard
A breath of fresh air for those sick of searching for easily triggered creatures, you can find Azure Rufflizards all over the Oilwell Basin region, as they will share many of their green siblings' spawn locations. When looking for a place to start or focus your search, I recommend heading to Area 4, where the lizard can usually be found chilling by the ancient forge.
![]()
Peony Sparklerjelly
By far the most unique rare endemic life in Monster Hunter Wilds, you can find the Peony Sparklerjelly while exploring both areas 13 and 14 during the Plenty season. The creature will only appear during the Evening/Nighttime. Unlike the regular Sparklerjellies, the Peony Sparklerjelly will look like a gigantic floating cell at a distance. But don't let its size fool you, as one Capture Net throw will be more than enough to add it to your collection. Here's the spot where we managed to find the Peony Sparklerjelly:
![]()
Nu Yaya
The offspring of Nu Udra, you can find and catch the Nu Yaya exclusively in the Basin's Area 17. Unlike all other rare endemic finds here, however, the Nu Yaya will only appear there after you visit the area during the Firespring (Inclemency) season while a Tempered Nu Udra is roaming the map.
Doing that will prompt Alma to point out the existence of the eggs within the apex's lair and guarantee that the Nu Yaya will be found there in spades during the following season of Plenty. You first need to reach Hunter Level 40 and complete the What Lies Ahead quest to unlock the Tempered Nu Udra chance spawn.
![]()
All Iceshard Cliffs and Ruins of Wyveria rare endemic life locations in Monster Hunter Wilds
We found three rare endemic life specimens while in the Iceshard Cliffs and Ruins of Wyveria regions, with the latter featuring by far the hardest-to-spot selection. You can check out the locations of all of them below:
Downy Crake
You can find Downy Crakes in MH Wilds on the backs of any small monster running around Iceshard Cliffs during the Fallow season. Although there's no sure way to pinpoint their locations, we managed to spot them riding on the back of Rafmas at Area 12 multiple times during the daytime. Upon spotting a group of Crakes, just throw your net to capture them and turn however was carrying them hostile.
![]()
Gillopod
The first creature exclusive to Ruins of Wyveria, we spotted a few Gillopods on the ruins featured by the path leading the Crumbling Strutures Camp to Area 2, on the spot highlighted below. They will are exclusive to the Wyvern's Stirring (Inclemency) season and can only spawn during the day.
![]()
Prism Hercudrome
The final endemic life in our list, you can find the Prism Hercudrome in only one location on MH Wilds; the tree highlighted in the image below and located at the center of Ruins of Wyveria's Area 6. But wait, there's more, as the Hercudrome will only appear during Plenty and can only spawn during the late night —aka a few minutes before morning comes in-game.
True to that, the best way to try to get the critter is by heading to the spot highlighted below during the nighttime and setting up camp while hoping for them to show up. As the area will feature a large number of highly active monsters, make sure to also have your Ghillie Mantle ready.
![]()
How to display rare endemic life in MH Wilds
Unfortunately for all looking to show the fruits of their labor, you cannot display your rare endemic life finds at will in Monster Hunter Wilds. Instead, after capturing it, you can spot them at the main tent in the Windward Plains Base Camp. Only one creature can be found roaming the tent at a time and it will change based on chance after each area reset.

Remember Concord? Despite it not even being a year old, Firewalk Studios' hero shooter has already been largely forgotten about. Well, unless you count it as something that will go down as one of the biggest flops of the current generation.
However, if you happen to have a PlayStation 5 copy of the game, you might want to chuck it on eBay. As noted in a recent report from Metro (which references a forum post on ResetEra), several people are trying to sell Concord on the auction site, with some of the asking prices being surprisingly steep.
![]()
As of right now, there are more than 80 listings on the UK version of eBay, with prices ranging from about £30 ($38) to over £360 (approximately $465). That's just for the game itself, though admittedly, some of them are off-the-shelf and sealed, which might be of some interest to very particular (read: affluent) collectors.
Is anyone going to buy one?
If you're not interested in the game itself, you could also pay hundreds for a Concord limited edition DualSense controller. While it's still very pricey, it at least would make a bit more sense, because at last that way, you'd have a usable accessory.
For those who don't remember, Concord was a live-service multiplayer shooter, essentially released to rub elbows with other popular titles in the genre, such as Overwatch, Valorant, and – perhaps to a lesser extent – Battleborn.
Sony released the game on August 23, 2024, for Steam and PS5. Sadly, it was an unmitigated failure, and the publisher pulled the plug on the servers (effectively killing the game) on September 6, 2024. So that's what? Two weeks? That has to be some sort of record.
Given that you can't actually play Concord anymore, it would be a rather odd decision for someone to pay over £300 for a PS5 copy. I mean, even if you do want it just to say you have it, there's no need to pay that much anyway, even on eBay.

Genshin Impact's 5.5 update will release two new artifact sets called the Long Night's Oath and Finale of the Deep Galleries. The former is suited for characters who rely on Plunging Attacks, while the latter is for Cryo characters.
You can find more details about the new artifacts in this article.
Two new artifact sets in Genshin Impact 5.5
Long Night's Oath
Long Night's Oath is one of the two new artifacts that will be released in version 5.5. Below are its set bonuses:
Long Night's Oath is a dedicated set for Plunging Attack DMG. The new set provides a ton of Plunging Attack DMG boost from both its 2-pc and 4-pc bonuses. It will be an amazing option for characters like Xiao, Gaming, Varesa, and even Diluc when paired with Xianyun.
![]()
Finale of the Deep Galleries
The other new artifact set in Genshin Impact 5.5 is the Finale of the Deep Galleries. Here are its complete set bonuses:
Based on the Finale of the Deep Galleries' 2-pc bonus, this set is meant for Cryo characters. Meanwhile, the 4-pc set bonus increases the user's Normal Attack DMG and Elemental Burst DMG. However, they are unusable on any character in the current roster due to the condition for triggering these effects. Therefore, the new set may likely be for an upcoming Cryo character.

As you may or may not be aware by now, Helldivers 2 plays host to a pretty hefty number of guns. Big guns, small guns, laser guns... The funny thing is that they all share various attachments and doodads, so is there a customization system hiding somewhere in the background?
The answer to that question should be obvious to anyone who's ever taken a second glance at about two-thirds of Helldivers 2's armory: yes. Gear standardization doesn't only make sense from an in-universe Super Earth point of view in this game, after all. It's a perfectly sensible decision to run the same kind of optics on virtually all of your gear from a development viewpoint, too, as it shortens dev time and introduces interoperability for all the guns you create. Heck, we do it in the real world, too, with STANAGs and standardized railing systems.
Weapon customization is a crucial aspect of modern shooters. It adds an extra layer of personalization and allows players to fine-tune their gear however they see fit. It should be no surprise at all that Arrowhead Games had, at the very least, considered adding it to Helldivers 2 at some point in time. The bit that may come as a surprise, though, is that Arrowhead appears to have half-implemented it already.
![]()
To begin with, Arrowhead CCO Johan Pilestedt himself mentioned subsonic ammunition and suppressors early after the game came out. A statement that was subsequently lionized in the leak/datamine community with a massive list of weapon attachments already present in the game. Not long ago, a different dataminer even posted a simple Liberator getting kitted out with various sights, barrel attachments, grips, magazines, skins, and so on, though the post got taken down. Datamining is like that sometimes. Crucially, it's all in there, fully supported by Helldivers 2 as it currently stands.
None of this is surprising or a secret if you've kept an ear close to the ground, but the curious bit is that you don't even need to look outside of the game to get a sense of how Helldivers 2's weapons actually work. Many of them are the same baseline gun with different thingamabobs attached. Same as it is in Destiny 2!
Of course, all the different Liberators are obvious examples of this, but all the SG pump-action shotguns are built on the same platform, and the same can be said about the Breaker shotguns as well. This goes beyond standardized weapon classes, to boot: the Eruptor bolt-action rifle is just a customized JAR-5 Dominator. The list goes on and on.
I'm not criticizing Arrowhead's choice to handle Helldivers 2's weapons this way. I'm thrilled with it beacuse there's evidently a backend weapon customization framework that the team may choose to share with the community at some point in time—hopefully soon, because it would add a huge amount of variability to the experience. Customization is always a good thing, and Arrowhead has proven that it's got the moxie to handle some pretty wild crossover content. What's a new scope compared to something like that?
![]()
Obviously, then, Helldivers 2 has everything it needs to support the usual suspects: a framework for weapon mods (specifically, ammo types, aiming modules, grips, magazines, stocks, optics, and barrel assemblies that we've seen so far) to fit onto most guns' basic railing systems. Skins, too, are clearly implemented, but this is where we come to the first problem with Helldivers 2's potential guncrafting feature. Specifically, if you can switch everything from optics to ammo loads on any given gun, what is left in place to differentiate between, say, a basic Liberator Carbine and a Concussive Liberator? Because the latter is just a skinned-up Liberator Carbine with a drum mag, explosive ammo, and a few other bits and bobs.
This may be one of the main reasons why Arrowhead may be reticent to release weapon customization in Helldivers 2. Many Premium Warbonds have simply featured revamped, customized variants of base weapons, and allowing players to tweak and tune attachments however they wish would make it impossible for Arrowhead to keep doing that in the backend.
Regardless of that, I do think Arrowhead is going to give us gun attachments, skins, and all the other related greeblies sooner or later. It is one of the last missing aspects of the original Helldivers in the sequel, after all, and that has a been a pretty good signifier of what's to come.

While GHOUL RE is very much focused on its PvP (and Perma Death PvP), the devs have been hard at work at keeping the PvE scene strong and healthy. In a recent update, GHOUL RE added Raid bosses, and we're so thrilled to take a break from all the player killing that we decided to give you this complete GHOUL RE Boss Guide.
Table of contents
How to Spawn Bosses in GHOUL://RE
There are two types of bosses in GHOUL RE:
![]()
You can spawn smaller bosses by accepting missions for your faction's mission board. As a Ghoul player, you can accept CCG Boss missions, and as a CCG member, you can take on Ghoul Boss missions. When you accept one of these, you'll get a yellow arrow showing you where the boss has spawned. Even though these are smaller bosses that can be soloed, we recommend you bring a friend or two along just in case. You never know if players of the opposing faction may decide to ruin your fun.
Other than CCG and Ghoul Boss missions, both factions can also accept Bosses Fighting missions. These are interesting because not only do they spawn one of the opposing faction bosses but also one of your own bosses. In a sense, this is a clash between two NPC bosses where you get to tip the scales. These are arguably easier to do than regular boss missions because the bosses will be focused on each other while you'll just do damage. Again, while you can solo these, it's always safer to bring a friend or two along.
![]()
As for spawning Raid Bosses, you first need to have 5,000 Yen. Then you talk to the Boss Raid NPC (a girl with blonde hair near the CCG building), and get her to spawn one of the three. Once you do, you'll be teleported to a secluded area where you can fight them. You can (and absolutely should) bring as many friends as you can. Up to 7 people can tag along with you to a Raid Boss.
To respawn bosses, simply accept another mission from the mission board or pay another fee to the Raid Boss NPC.
GHOUL://RE Raid Boss Guide
Don't think you can solo these, without some serious cheese tactics (we do have a few here to share, by the way). Raid Bosses have a ton of health and lots of attacks, and they tend to hit pretty hard. Unless you know what you're doing, definitely grab a group of friends (up to 8 players can attack a Raid Boss).
Eto Boss Guide in GHOUL://RE
![]()
Eto is, arguably, the easiest of the three bosses in GHOUL RE as of writing this. Despite Eto's intimidating appearance, you can destroy it pretty easily with the right knowledge. Eto has 4 moves.
While it might seem like a lot, once you learn all the moves above, Eto is pretty easy to kill, especially with a good team of players. Even if you aren't prepared, most will probably learn the moves during the fight, which normally lasts anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes.
Tatara Boss Guide in GHOUL://RE
![]()
Tatara is even more predictable than Eto, but it is arguably more difficult because of how much health it has. Fighting this thing for the first time was really discouraging because of how little damage we were doing, but after fighting it for a bit, this is just an easy but very tanky boss.
Nero Boss Guide in GHOUL://RE
![]()
Nero has the fewest moves, but it does the most damage out of all other Raid bosses. Almost all of its attacks are parryable, so with enough practice, this may become one of the easiest bosses to fight. Despite this, Nero's attacks cover a wide area, so definitely be prepared to take some damage until you learn the ropes.
Currently, there aren't any cheese methods for Nero.
GHOUL://RE Boss Loot Drops
Unfortunately, most bosses in GHOUL RE have the same loot pool. Raid bosses can drop a few unique items, but for the most part, you can similar loot from all bosses. Here are all the drops you can expect
Additionally, each Raid boss has a few unique drops. These aren't guaranteed.
That's all there is to it. Have fun Raiding these bosses with your friends, and enjoy the loot. If you haven't already, check out our GHOUL RE codes for some cool freebies.

Shining Revelry is all set to be the next major expansion for Pokemon TCG Pocket, and it will mark the introduction of Shiny variants.
The upcoming expansion will not only have its own booster set (as expected), but players will also be able to find shiny variants for some of their favorite pocket monsters. The upcoming expansion also marks the debut of the eagerly-awaited Ranked mode in TCG Pocket.
Pokemon TCG Pocket Shining Revelry release date
Shining Revelry will go live on March 27. Expect the new booster pack in the in-game store once the expansion goes live. Based on our information, you can expect shiny variants for fan favorites like Charizard EX, Lucario EX, and Pachirisu. The new cards can be obtained from the booster pack, and wonder picks.
From April 1, players will be eligible to obtain a Shiny Charizard-themed display board and a binder. Shining Revelry will also introduce Pokemon and Trainers from the Scarlet and Violet series, featuring charming Tatsugiri, Sprigatito, and Iono art.
The new expansion will also include fresh Starter Deck missions, available from March 27 to April 26. By completing the missions, players will win a deck ticket. They can then exchange the ticket for one of nine available options, and the cards will be added to their collection. It's a neat mechanic that will make the grind easier for new players.
Pokemon TCG Pocket Ranked Mode release date
The first season of Ranked matches will coincide with the launch of the new expansion. It will start on March 27, 11:00 P.M. PDT, and continue until April 26, 10:59 P.M. PDT. While the matchmaking method will remain the same, Ranked will pair players of similar skill levels worldwide.
The rewards available for Ranked matches have yet to be revealed. Players will fight for an emblem, which will be awarded to them at the end of a season based on how they performed and ranked. There will be a lot riding on the Ranked mode, and expect to see some incredibly meta decks used by the players.
The community received the Triumphant Light expansion at the start of March, featuring two powerful cards: Arceus EX and Leafeon EX. Shining Revelry could have its own set of EX cards to pack, but it could also be all about the shiny variants featuring cards from previous expansions.
It's also likely that more expansion cards will be revealed closer to the March 27 release date.

The second phase of the Genshin Impact 5.4's Spiral Abyss has finally started and it features a new lineup of enemies.
A user on X has shared a data that shows the most popular teams used by other players to clear Floor 12 of the current Abyss reset. You can use this as reference to decide your teams if you're struggling to clear the endgame content.
Most popular teams in Genshin Impact 5.4 Spiral Abyss
A user named @hxg_diluc on X shared a data showing the usage rates of teams in version 5.4's Spiral Abyss. The data is based on a sample size of 115,692 players, and naturally, it does not reflect the entirety of the Genshin Impact community.
Listed below are the top 10 most popular teams in the current Abyss, based on their usage rates:
![]()
Mavuika's team took the first spot in the ranking with 46.9% usage rate. However, it is safe to say that Neuvillette dominated the new Abyss as 5 of the 10 teams are his. This just shows how strong the Iudex of Fontaine is and he will remain one of the most popular choices unless the Abyss features enemies immune to Hydro.
Alhaitham, Xiao, and Ayaka's premium teams were also quite popular, which shouldn't be surprising given the nature of enemies and Blessings. In addition, there's an surprising entry at #9 as some players soloed Floor 12 of the Genshin Impact 5.4 Spiral Abyss with Wriothesley, proving that the Duke of the Fortress of Meropide still got it.

The current Genshin Impact 5.4 Spiral Abyss reset features several strong enemies. Furthermore, a recent survey shared by a user on X shows the most popular characters that players used to defeat these enemies on Floor 12.
You can use this data as a reference and consider your options when building the teams before challenging the Spiral Abyss.
Genshin Impact 5.4 Phase 2: 10 most popular characters in Spiral Abyss
A user named @hxg_diluc on X posted a list of the most used characters in the ongoing phase of the Spiral Abyss, based on the sample size of 115,692 players. While this doesn't represent the entire player base, it should give you a rough idea of who was the most effective character on Floor 12.
Here's the list of the 10 most used characters in Spiral Abyss in the second phase of Genshin Impact 5.4, based on their usage rates:
![]()
Furina is the most popular character in the Spiral Abyss with a 96.7% usage rate. This is one of the highest rates achieved by any unit in the game so far. That said, it shouldn't be surprising since Furina is arguably the best sub-DPS/support unit and the Abyss Ley Line Disorder heavily favors her.
In the second spot is Xilonen with a 92.6% usage rate. She is also one of the best supports so it makes sense for her to be a popular choice in the Abyss. Interestingly, Furina and Xilonen are the only two with more than a 90% usage rate. Slightly behind them is Neuvillette as the third most used character. He is one of the best damage dealers so it is no surprise that he is there.
Meanwhile, Mavuika is in the sixth spot with a 68.1% usage rate and is more popular than the other Archons. Unsurprisingly, Bennett is also one of the most popular characters in Spiral Abyss. He ranked #7 with a usage rate of 68% and is the only 4-star on the list.

The Low Driven playstyle is sweeping the EA FC 25 meta since its introduction as part of Title Update 10, and mastering it will allow you to win more games.
Whether you're a beginner or veteran, the Low Driven playstyle is extremely lethal in front of goal. To make the most out of this playstyle, you'll want to use a card with Low Driven+. EA Sports has already added a fair few cards with the playstyle in Ultimate Team, and I expect more of them in the near future.
How to trigger Low Driven playstyle in EA FC 25
The Low Driven playstyle is one of the easier ones to perform, but it will require practice. The easiest way of triggering Low Driven is with the help of a tap shot.
Performing a tap shot is simple: just tap the shoot button. You don't have to press any other button: just the shoot button along with the LS for direction. Make sure you don't keep the shoot button pressed. Just gently tap it once, and the player you control will perform a shot that will stick closely to the ground.
Without the Low Driven playstyle, this shot type tends to have low power. With the playstyle, the shots will have significantly more power, but a low elevation makes it very hard for the goalkeeper to save. I feel that the Low Driven playstyle is the most meta choice you can currently utilize in EA FC 25, and it will continue to remain as such without a nerf in the future.
To make the method simpler, try to shoot with less than 30% of the power bar filled when you're about to kick. Of course, it's not possible to check the bar when shooting at all times, so it's better to build muscle memory in the long run. You can always go to the training modes to practice tap shots. For this, you can pick any striker you want, as the objective is to build up your motor skills.
Once done, Ultimate Team is where you can find the most cards with this playstyle. If you're on a tight budget, the Gary Lineker FUT Birthday Icon is available for less than 100,000 coins. This card is the cheapest way to try out the playstyle, and you will find that scoring goals can be extremely easy.
The chances of your success go up in situations where there's just the goalkeeper to beat. To make the most out of it, try pairing the Low Driven playstyle with trivela shots to guarantee a goal with the correct angles.

Going without any starting items into your next run can be really tiresome in Dead Rails. Buying items that last you only for one life is arguably as bad. However, there is a way to start each journey loaded up, and that is by getting and equipping classes. So, without further ado, find out which classes are the best by following our ultimate Dead Rails class guide.
Table of Contents
What are Classes in Dead Rails
Each class in Dead Rails lets you carry preset items into each run without having to buy those items for bonds. Also, some classes give you unique passive bonuses, like being able to revive other players without bandages. In general, you should save up all the bonds that you find and invest them into unlocking new classes. This way, you will always have a decent starting loadout and powerful passive abilities.
Dead Rails Class Tier List
![]()
In the above Dead Rails class tier list, we ranked all classes from best to worst based on their overall strength, both when playing solo or with a party. In general, classes that cost more Bonds to unlock are stronger than the rest. However, that is not always the case. The Ironclad class is an excellent example of a relatively weak class that costs a lot of Bonds to unlock.
Best Dead Rails Classes for Solo Play
If you like to play alone and hog all the Bonds for yourself, then you should farm them up and get either Vampire, Survivalist, or Zombie. Vampire is the best Dead Rails class for solo play because of its survivability and speed. However, it has a very unique playstyle. So, you can't expect that other players will always conform to you unless all of you are playing as Vampires.
Dead Rails Class List
Below, you can find all the Dead Rails classes along with their cost, the starting items they give you, and the unique passive bonuses they provide you with. Also, we highlighted the pros and cons of each class to give more context to the Dead Rails tier list above.
How to Get and Change Classes in Dead Rails
In Dead Rails, you can get new classes and change your current class at the Tailor NPC in the main lobby. Each class costs some amount of bonds to unlock, and changing your class is possible only before you start a run. You can see your currently equipped class above your character's head while in the main lobby.
Farming Bonds in Dead Rails
![]()
If you want to unlock a class in Dead Rails, you first have to grind out quite a bit of bonds. Unfortunately, bonds can be hard to come by if you don't know where to look for them. In general, the best locations to find Bonds in Dead Rails are the castle at the 40km mark and Bank vaults in burning towns on the side of the rail. For more information on how to approach entering these places, check out our guide on how to farm bonds in Dead Rails.
That concludes our ultimate Dead Rails class guide. If you are still indecisive about picking your go-to weapon, check out our Dead Rails weapons tier list and find your new main.

Kaiserpunk is a weird game, starting with the genre. Like the hot new strategy game from the timeline where Civilization merged with Sim City, Kaiserpunk distinguishes itself from both city builders and grand strategy. The strangeness continues with the daily grind of ruling an early 20th century city where workers riot when their town of 100 illiterate souls doesn't receive the daily newspapers.
Running the city, big or small (and they all invariably become big), is an act of balance run with the sensibilities of slapstick comedy. Completing a chain of production means overextending your reach and destabilizing the whole economy, the only cure being overextending in the opposite direction. You'll fix a crisis among laborers by building a factory and hiring a bunch of manufacturers, who need fancy new luxuries, or they will literally riot. You do what you can to keep them calm and begin production on gramophones, which require new factories and new manufacturers.
Congratulations, you just made the problem worse! Now you'll definitely have to find that oil to refine into rubber, mix it with other materials in new factories, and make lots and lots of radios for the worker class that now dominates your city. Trying to satisfy the needs of a group multiplied its members tenfold and made the tax revenue penalty for not meeting their extra needs a death sentence.

The chain of production
![]()
You might think, based on the scenario above, that that this is a city building game about society and its need, not just workers and resources, like so many tabletop strategy games. You couldn't be further from the truth. Anything regarding humans in Kaiserpunk is laughably abstract. Let's look at the basic worker: the laborer. They only need two luxury goods to be happy and max out their tax output, clothes and newspaper. Let's ignore clothes for now, or we'll be here all day.
How do you make a newspaper? Of course, the answer changes depending on what you mean by "newspaper," the kind of population it will serve, and the technology available. But this is Kaiserpunk, so of course we use an early 20th century industrial process to serve a population of 100 people who presumably can't even read.
So, how do you make a newspaper? Well, first you need paper. Actually, first you need cellulose. Actually, first you need wood, and to make wood you need a forester. Not a lumberjack; a whole building dedicated to harvesting and cutting down trees. You'll then need electricity (a miraculously effective windmill, in this case), then a cellulose factory, then a paper mill, then a printing press, and finally a… wait, the printing press makes newspapers? How do you make books, then? That's the best part, you don't!
What about the distribution and the writing of the newspaper? That's not part of the industrial process, so in Kaiserpunk, it might as well not exist. To be fair, making a newspaper is already complex enough and I'm not asking for it to be even more complex. But it seems strange to keep the cellulose factory and not the part where you infuse a lifeless material with what makes it valuable. Cellulose is here only because the game is very interested in how one resource slots into the complex system of industrial production. Cellulose is an essential component in the production of newspapers, but also ammunition. To make newspapers and not weapons is to throw away precious synchrony between the two production systems.
That's also why workers are here, as a resource with extraordinary needs and functions that encompasses the entire economy. They're present in farmland and industry, they're both producers and consumers of the luxury goods that make up many of the resources in the game, but they don't feel human at all. The ostracization of the workers' involvement in industry from their humanity permeates the entire game. You unlock jazz clubs long after gramophones and radios because jazz clubs seem more modern, even though live music obviously predates those technologies. Drinkable water serves no role in your city until you introduce chemical processes, even though people (and crops, and forests) need water, too.
In a way, the strangeness is part of the fun, and Kaiserpunk is in on the joke. The few cinematics in the game make fun of it constantly. What's not fun is trying to stay behind this Jenga tower of an economic system with the few tools that Kaiserpunk gives you and within the strict time/performance ratio it expects.
Chasing perennial growth
![]()
Kaiserpunk expects great things from you. Ever greater things, always improving until you're so far ahead, you might as well cut the game short. You'll always have a need for growth, even if you make the enemy AI completely incompetent. Let's go back to our newspaper example from before and take a closer look at cellulose. This material is extracted from wood and is used to make the paper used in magazines, but it's also one of the ingredients that go into creating ammunition. Every few in-game hours, those two chains of production consume five cellulose each. In the same timeframe, a cellulose factory makes 24 bits of cellulose.
Once you build a cellulose factory, it will consume lots of money and electricity to make way too much cellulose. The only way to justify the expense is to make lots of paper and ammunition, then feed the first to the workers and the second to soldiers. To not waste newspapers you need more workers, and those new workers need a job and other goods to satisfy their other needs. To use ammo, you need to go make militias, and to not waste militias you need war, which requires many interconnected chains of production, each as intricate as the one of cellulose.
Reaching a balance is extremely difficult and, more importantly, inefficient. You're always propelled forward by a new type of worker with needs you can't satisfy, or a surplus of material that's going to waste. If you approach Kaiserpunk as a grand strategy game with intricate production lines and conflict that mimic the war of attritions of the early 20th century, you'll find yourself right at home. If you were looking forward to a city builder set in the second industrial revolution, where internal politics and worker morale is tracked by social class, this might not be for you.
What Kaiserpunk is missing
![]()
I didn't personally enjoy chasing the ever-faster growth of my city and empire as much as Kaiserpunk would want me to, but I can see how someone could love this constant pressure to improve. I can't imagine anyone so much as tolerating the tools available to chase this kind of efficiency.
Many of those problems are small things that could be fixed in the future, from unwieldy menus with no sorting or search ability to the tiny thumbnails acting as resource icons (you try to distinguish a laborer from a manufacturer when the portraits are 20 pixels squared). Individually, those would be missing quality-of-life features. Together, they make it genuinely difficult to act on the simulation with the type of control and carefulness that Kaiserpunk demands.
The occasional crashes and weird audio bugs don't exactly sell the fantasy of a well-oiled system, either. Had it not been so punishing and intricate, it would be easier to forgive those issues. On the other hand, perhaps the grueling process of learning the ins and out of this system through imperfect information is the point, and it does fit a game about building a new empire in the interwar period.
There's a lot to do in Kaiserpunk, but dealing with it won't always be pleasant. It's up to you to decide if this bump in the road to complete mastery of the system is a problem or the point of the game.
