Ahead of Verdansk, you can play 24 hours of Black Ops 6 for free

For Warzone players, the new Call of Duty season is promising to be one of the biggest in months - maybe even years. Verdansk is coming back, so obviously all eyes are on the free-to-play battle royale. But there's plenty of exciting new content coming to Black Ops 6 Season 3 as well that isn't to be slept on. If you don't yet own the latest premium CoD game, then here's an important reminder: Black Ops 6 will be completely free to try in the 24 hours leading up to Verdansk's launch, and that includes all the new Season 3 multiplayer maps, guns, and Zombies content too.

Runescape Dragonwilds system requirements dwarf those of the MMORPG

The Runescape Dragonwilds system requirements are already out ahead of its early access period starting in Spring 2025. In some positive news, the demands are very fair for a modern 3D game, although they look unusually high when stacked up next to the base Runescape requirements.

Runescape Dragonwilds is arguably the biggest development of Jagex's iconic IP since the launch of Runescape 3 in 2013. While this new survival crafting game won't require the best graphics card, it's quite surreal to see the difference between the MMORPG and Dragonwilds, which share the same universe, but aren't otherwise linked

Amazon just made it easier to buy a new Nvidia or AMD GPU, but with a big catch

Amazon is locking away stock of some of the newest graphics cards, including the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080, behind its Prime subscription service. Several listings for new gaming GPUs from both Nvidia and AMD are now unavailable to buyers without a Prime membership, which has the bonus effect of limiting the ability of scalpers to snap up the most desirable new GPUs, and potentially making it easier for gamers.

The best graphics cards might offer impressive specs, but plenty of gamers haven't been able to get their hands on one to test that out for themselves. Availability of the newest Nvidia GPUs has been incredibly low since the RTX 5090 launched at the end of January, while AMD GPUs such as the RX 9070 XT have also suffered from stock shortages since launching in March 2025.

First revealed at the Triple-I Initiative Showcase in April 2024, Slay the Spire 2 was announced to the world with a stylish animated trailer. The developers have confirmed there's a new set of slayers joining the cast, including returning favorites, Ironclad and The Silent.      The 16 best soulslike games in 2025

What are the best soulslike games? An off-shoot of action RPGs, the defining principles of this ever-growing subgenre sprung up from Demon's Souls back in 2009. However, it took the release of its spiritual successor two years later to really light a fire under fans. FromSoftware's Dark Souls is a landmark game in many respects, but the soulslike genre is its greatest legacy.

While efforts have been made to diversify soulslike games in recent years, patience in the face of adversity remains the focal point. Characterized by punishing stamina-based combat, risk-reward currency systems, and challenging bosses, victory leads to progression through rich worlds that often capture a dark fantasy game aesthetic. Whether you're a newcomer who's not sure where to start or an RPG game veteran looking for a new challenge, we've got the very best soulslikes on PC you can play right now.

Warzone map details, Verdansk release date and release time

What is the Verdansk release date? It's time, folks. It's the comeback of all comebacks, and it's happening soon. The new Warzone map is an old Warzone map; it's the Warzone map. Verdansk is returning, and from what we've seen, it looks to be in the same pristine condition it was when it landed in our laps all those years ago.

The battle royale game has seen many a change over the years as it's tried to pivot and improve - innovation hasn't been Warzone's strong suit, with many longing for the day-one experience, frustrated with the current state of play. While the gameplay may look unrecognizable from launch, they can, at the very least, give players a playground they know and love. The player base has dwindled slightly over the past few years, but with the return of Verdansk, we're expecting many returning players to jump back into the action.

Such an influx could potentially cause havoc with the servers, however, and we all know that there isn't anything worse than sitting down for a long battle royale session only to be met with an error code. We're keeping tabs on everything Warzone to let you know if the servers are up and running.

Earlier this month, Snail Games put out a widely and justifiably clowned-on genAI trailer for Ark: Survival Evolved's Aquatica DLC. Much reporting on the incident, including my own, used some variation of "slop" in the headline.

This has likely been true for some time, but it made me notice that 'slop' had evolved from a common adjective into the realm of de facto terminology. If you dislike GenAI, you refer to its output as 'slop'. It's become lexi-canonical.

I think we can do better. "Slop" evokes a tepid cylinder of condensed cream of mushroom soup, glumly wibbling in a chipped bowl. When I think of GenAI, I picture something closer to tropical insects laying eggs beneath soft flesh of victims. There's something parasitical and sinister about flaying the skin of artists who've explicitly spoken out against GenAI and then gleefully parading around in that stolen flesh. Slop sounds like Soft sounds like Plop sounds like Globule. It slides down too easy; gets off too lightly.

Preview: Slime Rancher 2 Seems as Slimy as Ever

Slime Rancher 2 is one of those games that's been in early access for quite some time! That started back in September 2022, and we're gradually seeing Monomi Park add new slimes, regions, and elements to Rainbow Island. Now that the 0.6.0 patch dropped back in December 2024, we figured it's a good time to head back into the successor to the multiplatform indie to see how it is coming along. While some parts are still a bit fiddly, it seems like the team is making strong strides to offer more of what people loved so much about the first game.

Beatrix LeBeau is great a slime ranching. She's so good that she's sort of famous? At least, someone noticed, because a mysterious letter invited her to the Rainbow Islands. It's a haven filled with more types of slimes and all sorts of ruins. Since the nature of slime ranching does offer a lot of freedom, she doesn't question who might be contacting her, hops in a boat that showed up, and heads out to continue a colorful, capitalistic adventure involving the plorp slime droppings.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOI5tz7eZ5A&ab_channel=MonomiPark

The core gameplay in Slime Rancher 2 remains unchanged, which is good since the controls and concept are great to begin with. This is a first-person collecting experience. Your home base consists of a number of potential pens for slimes. If you have money, you can build and upgrade those, adding elements to keep slimes in and comfortable like higher walls, nets, auto-feeders, and auto-plorp-collectors. Likewise, you can outfit Beatrice with equipment that makes her more adept, if you can afford it. Your goal is to explore areas, with some locked away either by necessary progression elements or not being included in the early access build yet. These can include little bugs with recordings that offer more insight, or features that unlock more of your map. As you get to new places, additional types of slimes appear, meaning more profit due to their plorps. Especially if you feed one type of slime another type of plorp, turning it into a hybrid Largo that drops two plorps from each type to increase your potential profits.

The general theme here seems to be "more." Even in early access, I'm constantly seeing new types of slimes, new opportunities to explore bigger areas, and elements I want to interact with. When you first head into the wilds, you'll almost immediately happen upon the new Cotton Slime that looks like a rabbit. If you beat the Cotton Gordo variety, you can reach an area with the Flutter Slimes that look like butterflies. I especially like how some feel a bit more challenging to get, like the Ringtail Slime that I found I could really only get during the day if I was lucky enough to find one frozen like a tanuki statue. I did get a chance to peek at the new labyrinth in 0.6.0, and I appreciate how there are more puzzle elements to Slime Rancher 2 that really make it feel like you're exploring runes, overcoming challenges, and earning your right to see variants like the Siamese or Sleepy Slime.

I honestly didn't experience any technical issues. If anything, the two things that really are "telling" are the early execution and the fact that content is definitely isn't there yet due to gradual rollouts. In the case of the former, Slime Rancher 2 right now feels like a game that could be difficult to really "start" unless you already played the original game. There is a very hands-off approach to getting started. If you didn't already know how to get pens set up and upgraded, start building up Beatrice's equipment, and getting into the gameplay loop of catching slimes, bringing them "home," feeding them, selling the plorps, and reinvesting the money to do a better job of earning more money, someone just starting might be left flailing. I was shocked when it didn't even introduce the map in any way until I'd reached the first marker unlocking more of it. I really feel like the 1.0 release needs to make it more approachable for newcomers.

The other part is that you will reach a wall at some points, in terms of story and places to go, due to the fact that more places are gradually appearing. It's natural, in early access! It just means you play Slime Rancher for probably a few weeks, maybe a month, after each major update, then step back until another update arrives. It sort of seems like we're maybe getting two or three "major updates" per year, based on how 2023 and 2024 went. Since it's only in 0.6.0 at the moment, I personally suspect it'll be a 2026 release. So we're in a good place now for reminders every few months. Given that this is such a relaxed experience, I think it suits it.

I always considered Slime Rancher one of the more relaxed simulations, and I feel like Slime Rancher 2 is going to offer similar situations. We take our times acquiring slimes. We investigate when we feel like it, able to return when updates appear, marathon everything or gradually take it in over longer periods of time. The current build does feel slightly unfriendly to those totally new to the experience, but I'm not concerned and think that could be rectified. What is here, now, does offer more of what those of us who did play the first game know we liked so we can enjoy slime time.

Slime Rancher 2 is in early access on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC

Wing Gundam Zero to appear in Battle Operation 2 PC Steam version

Bandai Namco has revealed that it will add the XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero to the playable unit roster for the PC version of Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2. Players of the online PC game will be able to pilot the After Colony-era Mobile Suit, which will look exactly as it appeared in the 1995 TV version of Gundam Wing.

The facts that the Battle Operation series generally focuses on the Universal Century and that this news appeared on April 1 may seem like an elaborate April Fools prank. However, this announcement is completely legit, as Wing Zero is not the first Mobile Suit from an alternate universe to appear in the PC game.

The ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED was the first alternate universe unit to appear in Battle Operation 2 in early 2024. Later on, in November 2024, Bandai Namco added G Gundam's flagship Mobile Fighter GF13-017NJII God Gundam, which is alternatively known in the Western releases as Burning Gundam.

Bandai Namco added the alternate universe Gundams to celebrate special occasions for each of them. The Freedom Gundam appeared to mark the launch of the 2024 movie Gundam SEED Freedom, while the God/Burning Gundam celebrated Mobile Fighter G Gundam's 30th anniversary. Likewise, the Wing Gundam Zero will appear to mark the 30th anniversary of the Gundam Wing TV show that aired in 1995.

The XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero from the TV version of Gundam Wing will be available exclusively in the PC Steam release of Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2. Bandai Namco also runs a separate build of the online game on PlayStation 4 and 5, which stays true to the setting by only featuring units from the Universal Century timeline.

Monster Hunter Wilds Arkveld - Capcom Figure Builder Creators Model

Capcom revealed a new figure modeled after the Monster Hunter Wilds flagship monster Arkveld. This figure will appear as part of the Capcom Figure Builder Creators Model line, and the company will release it in Fall 2025. Depending on when someone orders it, it will either appear in September or October 2025.

The company will use PVC and ABS to produce this figure, which depicts the awakening of Arkveld in the Wyveria area. The set will have an approximate total height of 21 cm (~8.27 in), width of 25.5 cm (~10.04 in), and depth of 31.5 cm (~12.4 in).

The new figure will be available at 22,000 yen (~$147.15). The official webpage lists October 16, 2025, as the formal release date for this figure. However, the e-Capcom web store has exclusive early bird sales, so people who place orders there can get it earlier, on September 25, 2025. Those residing outside Japan can also pre-order on the Japanese web store via the WorldShopping widget.

Here are some of the sample images for the figure, taken from multiple angles:

Capcom has been releasing many figures based on popular monsters from its Monster Hunter franchise. The company is also gradually restocking its previously released figures featuring monsters like Lagiacrus and Mizutsune throughout 2025.

The Capcom Figure Builder Creators Model of Arkveld, the flagship monster of Monster Hunter Wilds, will be formally available on Thursday, October 16, 2025. The e-Capcom web store will release the figure exclusively earlier on September 25, 2025. Monster Hunter Wilds is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC worldwide.

Best April Fools Day jokes 2025 Palworld More Than Just Pals

April Fools' Day is here once again. April 1, 2025 marks the day in which game companies make some intriguing, funny, and sometimes questionable jokes that shouldn't be taken seriously at all. Here are all of the best game April Fools' Day jokes regarding English games in 2025 you should know about.

Zenless Zone Zero Xbox Tease

Zenless Zone Zero went for the tongue in cheek "joke" this year that appears to also be seemingly true in a way. The announcement of a new Bangboo arrives in the fake in-game event "An Outstanding Partner." This Bangboo's name is XBOO and it certainly carries the classic Xbox logo and green aesthetic.

While XBOO is fake, this joke might actually be hinting at an official Xbox release someday down the line. This is one to certainly keep an eyes on at least.

Fantasy Life i and Life Crossing: Fantasy Horizons

Level-5 is hard at work on the upcoming release of Fantasy Life i, but the developer took the time to both market the game and jest at another game in the process. A really well done trailer showcases the supposed announcement to Animal Crossing: New Horizons known as Life Crossing: Fantasy Horizons. While fake, it honestly looks great with the different animal creatures and the like, but, thankfully, we'll get Fantasy Life i in the near future.

FFVII Ever Crisis Academy

This announcement appears to be a joke, though it arguably shouldn't be. The mobile game FFVII Ever Crisis teased a supposed Academy event. This reimagines the cast of the beloved JRPG as high schoolers at academies. You get Cloud looking like a baseball star, Barret as a teacher, and Aerith and Tifa looking great. Plus, there is a rival Shinra school with Sephiroth and others.

Unfortunately, this is most likely just a joke given its announcement window. It is a shame, though, since it has a lot of stunning art associated with it for the characters.

Palworld: More Than Just Pals

Palworld is celebrating April Fools' Day with a game joke you might be familiar with. Once again, PocketPair is showing off More Than Just Pals. This is the same visual novel from 2024's joke where you get to romance humanoid versions of the Pals. It is even more elaborate this time with a Steam page for the spin-off game. I don't want to get your hopes up, but this once joke may actually turn out to be real down the line, which would be spectacular.

Dave the Diver Remastered

As you might expect, a remarkable indie title released in 2023 certainly doesn't need a remaster. Rather than joke about the seemingly endless collaborations it has, Dave the Diver joked for April Fool's Day about a remastered version. This supposed version is coming out for the YS7 and Ybox Series X/L. You'll have to wait a while for this fake remaster, though, as it is set to arrive in 2049.

Faye Valentine Becomes a Bunny Girl for Cowboy Bebop Figure

Good Smile Company kicked off pre-orders for a new Cowboy Bebop figure, and it features heroine Faye Valentine dressed as a bunny girl. It will debut in September 2025 in Japan, and a worldwide release is expected by about Q1 2026. She'll cost ¥38,500 (~$403.99) as a result of her size.

This version of Faye is a 1/4 scale figure. That means she'll be over 18 inches tall (470mm). However, a portion of that is due to the black bunny ear headband she wears on her head. As she is dressed in a traditional bunny girl outfit, she has a black, shiny, one piece swimsuit on that has a white rabbit tail on the back. She has white cuffs on her wrists and a white collar fastened by a red bow around her neck. She holds the ace and two of hearts cards in her right hand. In addition to black high heels, the figure also wears actual fabric fishnet tights.

Note that this is a completely static figure. You can't change her pose. You also can't swap out face plates to change her expression.

Here are the official photos of the character:

Good Smile Company's released a number of figures based on Faye Valentine. For example, a Nendoroid is due out in November 2025. (There's a Spike Spiegel one too.) There was also a Pop Up Parade version of her. In both of them, she's wearing her standard outfit.

The Cowboy Bebop Faye Valentine bunny girl figure will debut in Japan in September 2025 and worldwide in Q1 2026. Pre-orders close on May 28, 2025. There's no release window yet for both the Spike Spiegel and Faye Valentine Cowboy Bebop Nendoroids. The anime is streaming on Crunchyroll. One season of the live-action adaptation appeared on Netflix.

Review: Battlefield Waltz Is an Otome With Strong Characters game switch

I love when we get otome games with a heroine who isn't a blank slate. Just because a company may want to make it possible to self-insert, doesn't mean the lead needs to be a weakling in need of constant saving. Battlefield Waltz is a new otome from Idea Factory International that switches that up by making the lead a bearer of the legendary Cursed Sword who even had aspirations of protecting those important to her before that, and she's surrounded by love interests who both can handle themselves in a fight and seem to respect her abilities too.

In the midst of learning the sword skills necessary to help her father defend their village, tragedy strikes Lan's life. Enemy forces invade, claiming to be searching for some legendary sword. When the lives of her mother and a neighbor child are threatened and she sees she doesn't have the immediate strength to fight back when outnumbered, she calls for help. Said Cursed Sword responds and becomes bonded to her soul. She awakes at Nirvana Academy, a school for future warriors in the kingdom geared to hopefully train those who will protect the peace, and it's heavily implied that agreeing to attend is her only option. However, it means becoming a strong warrior, protecting the people she has left who matter to her, solving mysteries, and doing good, all with falling in love as a bonus, so she agrees.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkAFfn8Xqiw

Battlefield Waltz is a fairly typical Idea Factory International and Otomate otome visual novel for the Switch. We'll go about Lan's day, try to learn more about her situation, and adjust to her life as being bearer of the Cursed Sword in different ways. This is all while getting caught up in different situations as a result, and falling in love with whoever's route we end up on.

A few things do help set it apart from others from the company, which I appreciated. One is that Battlefield Waltz is as realistic as an otome game about a girl whose soul is tied to a Cursed Sword with an entity in it can be. Nirvana is a military academy. She and her classmates are going into battles and getting caught up in political intrigue. There can be bad endings or unpleasant situations. However, it isn't overwhelmingly dark, which I appreciate.

It also offers a chance to get to know more than just the love interests. These guys are great. Make no mistake. The only one I didn't really care for is Tifalet. I even enjoyed Pash's tale, and usually I that "type" of character is one I don't pursue. As you go about Lan's story, you'll eventually be able to explore the town or school and talk to people on the map. If the romance option you're trying to get closed to isn't around, you can spend time with supporting cast members, and it's really fun! I'm a big fan of Yuriana, and Mephisto and Ignis are great too.

I mean, there are really only two potential flaws I could possibly point to in Battlefield Waltz, and neither one is all that damning when it comes to how otome games work. One issueis that the pacing isn't always perfect in some routes. However, there's only one character whose story suffers from this! I feel like it happened because he isn't really a Nirvana, while most of the other love interests are tied to our academy life there, and maybe Otomate just couldn't reconcile that timing with the others' routes? I don't know. It's one character and in general it's interesting since it offers more insight into a certain NPC and other elements, so it still works out to a pretty good tale.

The other issue is that you get all of the answers regarding the Cursed Sword in one character's route… which only unlocks after all of the other ones. Again, this isn't deal breaker or a big deal in general in Battlefield Waltz, as this is pretty common for otome games. I think it's more that I just wanted more background hints on the other storylines as well, but all of the biggest reveals for Lan are locked away behind this one romance option who ends up feeling like the other main character as a result.

Like I said, the two issues I had are barely issues at all.

Especially since Battlefield Waltz is also such a gorgeous game. The character designs are fantastic for everyone. It doesn't matter if they're a love interest. There's clear attention paid to each person. It's one of the situations that meant getting to visit the secret shop area to see concept art actually ended up being of interest to me.

Battlefield Waltz is one of those Switch otome games that I feel is a good option for folks who want a strong protagonist, fun love interests with fascinating backstories, great art, and an opportunity to get to know supporting characters. There's so much to this game. Plus, it includes some mature elements and topics and tends to handle them pretty well, all without being depressing. I'm a fan, and I think it'll end up being one of the strongest Switch otome games in 2025.

Battlefield Waltz will come to the Nintendo Switch on April 8, 2025.

Chainsaw Man: The Movie Heads to US Theaters in English in 2025

The official English social media account for the Chainsaw Man series announced that the The Movie: Reze Arc will release outside Japan in US theaters on October 29, 2025. It is part of the Sony and Crunchyroll CinemaCon 2025 announcements. This is just over a month after its Japanese debut on September 19, 2025

The official reveal included one of the piece of Japanese art shared for the new film. While the full name of the film is Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc, it is actually an adaptation of the Bomb Girl arc of the Public Safety Saga portion of the manga. This is the fifth part of that story and comes right after the halfway point of the series. As the name suggests, a newly introduced character named Reze is one of the most central characters in it. However, the latest key art only shows Denji as Chainsaw Man.

Here's the latest image:

Sony's announcement didn't note when people can start reserving theater tickets in the US for the English release of Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc. We also don't know if there will be a dubbed version available, or if it will only be shown with Japanese voice acting and English subtitles.

The first season of Chainsaw Man is streaming on Crunchyroll now. As for the manga, it's currently in the Academy part of the story, and the Aging Devil arc recently finished. Viz Media handles its release outside of Japan, and volume 18 is due to debut on May 6, 2025.

Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc will debut in Japan on September 19, 2025, and it will appear in US theaters in English on October 29, 2025.

A player dressed in an orange gown using a Flamethrower in Dress to Impress.

There are lots of secret items you can unlock in Dress to Impress, and while most of them are pretty straightforward, some require a bit more effort. The Flamethrower is by far the trickiest item you can unlock.

If you're hoping to earn this item, you have to act fast since it won't be available forever. You also have to put in quite a bit of effort, and it's a really tricky process, so here's how to get the Flamethrower in Dress to Impress.

What is the Flamethrower code in DTI?

To obtain the Flamethrower in DTI, you need to find a series of emojis corresponding to specific numbers hidden around the map and piece them together to form a unique code. Unlike all other codes in DTI, every player has a unique one here, so you have to solve it for yourself.

Each emoji is tied to a different number for each player. For me, the Heart is a two, and I found it on a table in the Salon, but it might not be the same number or at the same location for you.

The first step for solving your code is to visit a regular server and complete the round. At the end, look right above the scoreboard to learn your specific code series. Mine, for example, is Dress, Star, Heart, Dress, Dress. For me, the Dress was next to the number three, the Star was by the number five, and the Heart was by a two, so my personal Flamethrower code ended up being 35233.

Your code will be completely different depending on where your emojis are and what number each one is tied to. Once you know the correct order for your emojis, you need to get to work finding them.

All emoji locations for Flamethrower in DTI

The locations for the emojis you need to find to unlock the Flamethrower are also random, so there are many potential spawn spots to check. Here are all of the ones we've found so far, but there might be more, so we'll add additional ones as we come across them.

  • On the side of the nail salon where Lina is working for the duration of the April Fools' update.
  • On the shelf above the shoe section in the main lobby.
  • On the circular tables sitting around the intermission lobby.
  • On the table right behind the entrance wall into the salon in the main lobby.
  • On the walls of the dressing rooms in the main lobby.
  • On the pillars around the intermission lobby.
  • On the fence around the path area you spawn on in the intermission lobby.
  • On the stairs and sides of the stairs throughout the main lobby.
  • On the shelf between the nail table and the hairdryers.
  • On the wall behind the plants around the main lobby.
  • On shelves throughout the main lobby.
  • On the wall above the hat section in the main lobby.
  • On the walls outside the windows in the main lobby.
  • On the shelf where all of the bags are in the main lobby.

A heart emoji by the number two in Dress to Impress.

Since there are many different spots where the emojis can appear, the best way to find them is to simply scour every inch of the map as carefully as you can. They can appear in the main lobby and the intermission lobby but not in the VIP room. Because the emojis can appear in the intermission lobby, you need to play on a regular server to make sure you're able to find all of them.

How to use the Flamethrower in DTI

Once you have it unlocked, the Flamethrower appears in a special bar near the bottom of the screen. Click on the word "Flamethrower" to equip it, then click anywhere else on the screen to turn it on and start shooting fire. It only shoots fire as long as you're holding the use button down.

If you're looking for more special items to add to your collection, consider working on unlocking the Style Showdown set, Magical Girl outfit, and Lana Stitch dress next.

Craftmine Update key art

Minecraft's April Fools' updates have become a legendary tradition, cranking up the chaos and creativity each year. From potato-filled biomes to moon cows, the wackiness knows no bounds. In 2025, the Craftmine update takes things to a whole new level, and we're here to show you how to play.

How to access Craftmine Update in Minecraft

Minecraft players have created countless amazing builds over the years, but now, for the first time ever, you can craft mines. Get it? Craft+Mine. Mine+Craft. Alright, you get the idea. Like past April Fools updates, you can access it through the Java Edition Snapshot version. Follow these steps to start the Minecraft Craftmine update:

  1. Open Minecraft Launcher
  2. Open Java Edition
  3. Select the Installations tab
  4. Hit 'Play' on the latest Snapshot (ensure that Snapshots are activated)
  5. Wait for the file to install and play the new Craftmine Update

If you're new to the Minecraft Launcher, you must hit the checkbox for the Snapshot. This version lets you test out upcoming or limited features, almost like a beta test. Since Snapshots can be buggy, you may want to back up your worlds or run a different file just in case things go wrong. Unfortunately, Bedrock Edition users cannot access this feature, as it is primarily reserved for the PC version.

Once everything checks out, it'll open the main menu, presenting the Craftmine update file in the bottom-left corner. Simply start a new world and make any adjustments with difficulty settings or game rules before you begin.

How to play Craftmine Update in Minecraft

Use the Mine Crafter at the center to build your own level. You'll have a few resources given to you by default, and you'll eventually find more materials the more you play. Place an item from the Mine Effects in the empty box near 'Craft Your Mine.' It'll create a mine with various challenges. So, if I place the Plains Biomes Mine Effect, it'll give me a level with mobs like Creepers, chickens, and cows.

Crafting in the Mine Crafter
Screenshot by Destructoid

After you've chosen an element, select the box at the center and interact with the circular object near the Mine Crafter to enter your new world.

The goal here is to play your distinct level and find the exit. Exit locations will vary each time, so you'll have to survive long enough to make it out alive. If you find the exit point, you'll return to the Craftmine Update's main hub, increasing your levels for more recipes. You'll unlock more boxes in the Mine Crafter, allowing you to mix and match for more unique worlds.

Open the Player Unlocks hub by pressing the 'U' key, and exchange your earned points to access additional builds. Since this system is fairly new, I'm still trying to understand this feature fully. I'll update this guide once I get more familiar with it.

How to find the exit in Craftmine Update

While the exit locations will always change, you should know what to look for. Exits will appear with a blue beam of light in the sky, leading you to an exit portal that can have Blackstone around it. The night makes it easier to see, so you may want to wait until then.

Exit Portal in Craftmine Update
Screenshot by Destructoid

Given the massive size of Minecraft maps, it can take a while to find the exit. I just walked around aimlessly for a day (in-game time) and just happened to stumble upon mine underwater. If you are lucky enough to find it, interact with the circle at the center, similar to the Mine Crafter's orb, and you'll earn your well-deserved rewards. For more Minecraft, check out our guide on how to find all hidden collectibles in the A Minecraft Movie Live Event.

A view from above of the city in Schedule I

Everyone needs friends, including an "entrepreneur" like yourself. Schedule I is a unique take on the small genre of weird job simulators. Schedule 1 is a fun game, but like all games, it's more fun with friends. Three of them, to be exact.

There's a level of appeal to playing games like this by yourself or with others. Managing employees, products, and customers by yourself is thrilling, but friends can help alleviate the stress. Playing Schedule 1 with friends is a blast, and we're here to tell you how you and your buds can get started right now.

How to play Schedule I with friends

The main menu of Schedule I, an arrow points to an empty second player slot slot, used to add friends to the game.
Screenshot by Destructoid

Here's a complete step-by-step to add your friends to a Schedule 1 lobby:

  1. Add them as a friend on Steam.
  2. Boot up Schedule 1 and head to the main menu.
  3. Click the grey "+" box in the top-right corner of your screen.
  4. Create a new game or continue on a previous save once your friend(s) are in the lobby.

You'll see these options regardless of whether you own Schedule 1's paid version or the Free Sample. In short, even if you want to try the game but aren't sure if you want to buy it, you and a few friends can hop in and try its demo before deciding, without worrying about any extra obstacles.

How to add friends on Steam

To add one to three friends to your Schedule I game, you must add them as friends on Steam, first. To do so, open your Friends page in your Steam account by hovering the mouse over your name in the Steam software and selecting Friends. Then, press the green Add a friend button. They'll then receive a notification, allowing them to accept or deny the request.

Inviting friends to play Schedule 1 multiplayer

Once you've added a friend, all of you will need to be online before you can invite them to your game. If you can't see your friends in your list even though all of you are logged in, someone likely set their account status to Offline. To change that, click on the Steam button in the top left corner of the Steam desktop app and find the "Go Offline…" option. If you see it, you're already online. If it says "Go Online…" press the button, and you'll be visible to your Steam friends.

What is Schedule 1 multiplayer's max player count?

A large work room full of equipment to manufacture drugs in the video game Schedule 1.
Image via TVGS

There is a limit of four players per game in Schedule I. That means you can only host up to three other players at once. It doesn't seem like the developer, TVGS, plans on adding native support for more than four players in the future, based on the official long-term development roadmap on Trello.

The only exception is using mods to increase the maximum player count. There is a popular multiplayer mod, MultiplayerPlus, that allows up to 20 users in the same game. However, you'll have to wait for it to update whenever Schedule 1 releases a major content update, so be prepared for occasional compatibility errors.

Generally speaking, the game isn't intended for a dozen or more players to run around the same tiny city. You're probably better off sticking to a small group of friends unless you want to cause chaos and risk running into errors, crashing, or other strange shenanigans.

Harley Quinn using ice to fight Scorpion and his fire powers in Fortnite.

Mortal Kombat characters, weapons, locations, and quests have arrived on the island in Fortnite. There's a lot to do, and one of the best ways to see everything included in this collaboration is tackling the Mortal Kombat quests.

The first quest series featured in this crossover is Cryomancer's Resolve, and it has plenty of tasks for you to tackle. Some of them are tough, so if you're struggling to navigate through them, here's how to complete all Mortal Kombat Cryomancer's Resolve quests in Fortnite.

All Cryomancer's Resolve Mortal Kombat quests in Fortnite

Screenshot by Destructoid

There are six unique quests in the Cryomancer's Resolve selection of Mortal Kombat tasks in Fortnite. Finishing each one gets you 30,000 XP, so although some of them are tricky to get done, they're certainly worth finishing.

Quest How to complete
Hit players with Ice Slide. Use the Ice Slide ability available with Sub-Zero's Kombat Kit to hit 10 enemy players.
Damage players while on the bridge in The Pit. Deal 500 damage against enemy players while at The Pit.
Shatter player shields beyond 10 meters. Shatter five players' shields while you're beyond 10 meters away.
Kollect the First Blood Medallion in different matches. Pick up Scorpion's Blood Moon Medallion in two different matches.
Hit an opponent with both a Kombat Kit air kick and uppercut within five seconds. Use either Scorpion's Kombat Kit or Sub-Zero's Kombat Kit to strike an enemy with both an air kick and uppercut move within five seconds.
FATALITY - Defeat Scorpion while carrying Sub-Zero's Kombat Kit. Have Sub-Zero's Kombat Kit in your inventory when you beat Scorpion.

Hit players with Ice Slide in Fortnite

To complete the hit players with Ice Slide quest, you need to acquire Sub-Zero's Kombat Kit and use the Ice Slide ability to strike 10 players. This is the kit's secondary move, and the button you need to press for it varies by platform. When you have this weapon in your inventory, you can view the button you need to press to activate it in the bottom left corner above your health bar.

Screenshot by Destructoid

Since the word "players" is included as part of this quest, you can only make progress in it by hitting other players. Striking bosses and NPCs you come across with Ice Slide doesn't count and won't help you complete this task.

Sub-Zero's Kombat Kit can be found as random loot both in chests and on the ground all around the island, similar to Scorpion's Kombat Kit. It's quite common, so if you're having trouble finding it, just keep traveling to new locations to find more chests to open.

Damage players while on the bridge in The Pit in Fortnite

To Damage players while on the bridge in The Pit, visit the bridge at The Pit near the far southeast end of the island and deal a total of 500 damage against enemy players while there. This location is a Landmark rather than a named location, so finding it can be tricky since it's not marked by name on the map.

The Pit is situated near the bottom right corner of the island. It's directly east of Shining Span, but you must be on the bridge at this location to tackle this quest, so be sure to walk onto it before fighting.

Shatter player shields beyond 10 meters in Fortnite

To finish the "shatter player shields beyond 10 meters" quest, hit a total of five enemy players to break their shields while you're over 10 meters away. This is easiest to do with an Assault Rifle or Sniper since these weapons are designed for long distances.

Kollect the First Blood Medallion in different matches in Fortnite

For this task, you need to acquire Scorpion's Medallion in two separate matches. The name of this Medallion makes this task seem more confusing than it is, but the "first" in this quest refers to the name of the Medallion, "First Blood Moon," and not to you being the first player to obtain it.

This means you can pick up the Medallion by beating Scorpion or grabbing it from another player who has it. Regardless of how you do it, you must acquire this special item in two different rounds to finish this quest.

A player with dark red hair looking at the Fortnite First Blood Medallion
Screenshot by Destructoid

Hit an opponent with both a Kombat Kit air kick and uppercut within five seconds in Fortnite

To complete this quest, you need to find an enemy and quickly strike them with both an air kick and uppercut within five seconds. This must be done using the attack ability available in Scorpion's Kombat Kit and Sub-Zero's Kombat Kit.

Since this task calls for an "opponent" rather than enemy players, you can complete it by fighting against players, NPCs, or bosses. I recommend visiting a bank or Fletcher Kane's mansion at Lonewolf Lair to fight the NPCs around there so you can focus on this quest without worrying too much about staying alive.

This task can be a bit finicky and tricky to do, so if you think you've done it, but it's not counting, keep trying until it works. The key here is to act fast and get strikes in as quickly as possible since the uppercut and air kick moves are randomly performed while using a basic attack with either kit.

Defeat Scorpion while carrying Sub-Zero's Kombat Kit in Fortnite

Harley Quinn fighting Scorpion with ice powers in Fortnite.
Screenshot by Destructoid

The easiest way to defeat Scorpion while carrying Sub-Zero's Kombat Kit is to head straight to Scorpion's location from the battle bus. He's a pretty popular boss to defeat, and you have to be the one to eliminate him for this task, so getting there right away is crucial.

Scorpion can spawn at three spots around the map, including The Pit, The Living Forest, and The Dead Pool. Regardless of where he spawns, there is always a Sub-Zero Kombat Kit on the ground as floor loot close to the gong you ring to summon Scorpion. This allows you to head straight to him, grab the kit you need, and start fighting.

If you have other weapons, you can use those to beat Scorpion instead, as long as Sub-Zero's Kombat Kit remains in your inventory. It must be in your possession when you beat him to finish this quest. You get some pretty great loot for beating him, including a special Medallion and the Mythic version of Scorpion's Kombat Kit.

A Steam Deck floating in front of a screenshot from Schedule 1.

No doubt by now you'll at least have heard of Schedule 1, the indie crime simulator that has you building a drug empire. Well, it seems to be doing well for itself, evidence of how the indie scene can still make a splash in the cut-throat world of modern gaming.

In fact, despite it coming almost out of nowhere, it's been making headlines, with it sitting on the number one spot on Steam's Top Sellers list at the time of writing. It keeps smashing its concurrent player count, according to the latest figures from SteamDB, so it's clearly doing alright, despite it only releasing recently (hype is a powerful thing, it seems).

https://twitter.com/ScheduleOneGame/status/1904292142035743200

Currently, the game is exclusive to PC, but for those who like their gaming on the go, you may be wondering whether you can run it on your Steam Deck. Well, there may be some good news ahead.

Can you play Schedule 1 on Steam Deck?

Yes, Schedule 1 is playable on Steam Deck. Schedule 1 is not a demanding PC game by any means, so it runs completely fine on Steam Deck and other PC handhelds like the Asus ROG Ally.

Because of this, you can get the game to run on Steam Deck, although it does not have official controller support just yet, and there are some issues with on-screen text, which is a common error with games that are Deck playable.

Schedule 1 is definitely not the most optimized Steam Deck experience, to say the least, but you should at least be able to get around 30 FPS if you lock the frame rate to this number. Beyond that, it will take further optimization to make the game run better.

Is Schedule 1 Steam Deck verified?

Schedule 1 first person Gun screenshot
Image via Steam

Schedule 1's Steam Deck compatibility is still officially listed as "Unknown." This basically means that Valve, as the developer of the device, is "still learning" about the game, so no official information can be said about its compatibility.

But just because its status is not known doesn't mean it won't work. According to recent posts on the community forums, Schedule 1 is still playable on the Steam Deck, and I've had a similar experience. The game can be played, but since it does not have official controller support yet, it's not recommended. Because of this, it's better to use a keyboard and mouse while the game's developer works on further support for both controllers and the Steam Deck.

For now, yes, Schedule 1 is technically playable on Steam Deck, but it has not yet been verified by Valve, and it's a much better experience on PC or with a mouse and keyboard attached to the Steam Deck handheld.

At the time being, it's suggested to either wait for the game to become verified or at least considered "Deck Playable" by Valve's standards, or hook the handheld up to mouse and keyboard peripherals, otherwise you may be in for a bad time trying to enjoy yourself and play the game the way it's meant to be played.

Keep an eye out for updates on this game's Steam Deck playability in the future, especially if it continues to be a popular game in the early months of 2025, as players learn how to make and sell drugs in the cartoonish open-world title.

The splashart for Hextech Ziggs, showcasing the furry yordle being blown into the sky by his own bomb.

Congratulations! The first step to overcoming any addiction is to acknowledge the problem. And since you're reading this, it seems as though you've already begun your journey to uninstalling League of Legends and breaking a few bad habits.

Don't get me wrong — I've been in your shoes. I played League for years before finally deciding it was time to hang up the keyboard and mouse. Uninstalling the Riot Games MOBA felt like a weight being lifted from my shoulders, and if you're ready for that sweet sense of freedom and relief, I'll help walk you through the same process.

Here's how to uninstall League of Legends from your PC.

How to delete LoL from Windows PC

Unfortunately for League users, there's no way to uninstall the MOBA from the client. Instead, you'll need to head into your PC's control panel to begin the process. To uninstall League from your computer, follow these steps:

  1. Open the start menu on your computer.
  2. Type "Add or remove programs" into the search bar.
  3. Scroll down until you see League of Legends in the list of programs.
  4. Click the three dots to the right.
  5. Choose "Uninstall."

    • A second prompt will appear, informing you that the application and all of its "related info" will be removed from your computer. Click "Uninstall" a second time to confirm your decision and begin the process of removing the Riot Games MOBA from your PC.

A pop-up might appear asking if you're sure you'd like to uninstall the program from your computer. After you confirm your decision, the game will begin to uninstall. It shouldn't take more than a minute or so for the game to be removed from your computer.

Uninstall LoL: Troubleshooting

If you're having any issues uninstalling, make sure you're closed out of the application completely. If you have the client running in the background, it could prevent your computer from beginning the uninstall process. To fix this, open your Task Manager by typing it into your Windows search bar and looking for League of Legends on the list. If you see it, right-click on it, and select "End task." You may have to repeat this step for the Riot Client.

How to delete LoL from Mac

If you're using a Mac device, the process for removing League from your computer will look a little different, but the steps will be similar. To uninstall League from your Mac, follow the instructions below:

  1. Open the Applications menu from the Finder.
  2. Look for the League icon.
  3. Right-click on the program and select "Move to Bin."
  4. Then, right-click on your Bin and choose "Empty Trash."
  5. Your Mac will begin uninstalling any program in the Bin.

Now that League has been removed from your PC, it's time to go outside and touch some grass — or download another live-service title and let the whole process start back up from square one. Your choice!

The city of Schedule 1 photographed from above during sunrise.

I like how Schedule 1's menu is styled like a smartphone. It makes sense with the setting and has a useful built-in clock. But even if it makes for a cool UI, it's not quite the peak user experience.

The normal map is crammed into a small central portion of the screen, which makes it hard to zoom in and see the details without losing track of where you are. That's why we made a giant, full-screen version of Schedule 1's city of Hyland Point, complete with symbols indicating the most important locations in the game.

The full map of Schedule 1

Updated version of the map from Schedule 1
Screenshot by Destructoid

Here's the full map of Schedule 1 in as much detail as the game allows. The list below highlights every key location you'll visit:

  • 1 – RV
  • 2 – Motel Room (and motel property)
  • 3 – Chinese Restaurant/Sweatshop
  • 4 – Bungalow
  • 5 – Docks Warehouse
  • 6 – Barn
  • 7 – Laundromat
  • 8 – Taco Ticklers
  • 9 – Post Office
  • 9 – Car Wash
  • R – Rays Realty (real estate agent)
  • D – Dan's Hardware
  • G – Gas-Mart (there are multiple Gas-Marts in the game)
  • B – Body Shop
  • T – Thrifty Threads
  • TT – Top Tattoos
  • W – Warehouse
  • S – Shred Shack
  • A – Hyland Auto
  • M – Mayor's House
  • Z – Gazebo

Businesses and properties locations

Businesses and properties are highlighted on your in-game map with a blue circle containing the white outline of a home. While most places like the car mechanic's shop, Top Tattoos, and Thrifty Threads are owned by NPCs in Schedule 1, there are four you can purchase yourself. Here's the complete of player-owned businesses you can obtain:

  • Laundromat
  • Post Office
  • Car Wash
  • Taco Ticklers

A number indicates which business or property is which, while the blue letters identify various NPC-owned properties and businesses around Hyland Point. Rays Realty, the real estate agency where you can purchase these locations, is marked with the letter R instead.

Most of those properties unlock a bigger house, a new workplace for you and your henchmen, or a nifty passive income, but some are more complex. The laundromat conducts money laundering, increasing the amount of money you can keep in your bank account.

Other locations in Schedule 1

The gas-mart from Schedule 1 during the night.
Screenshot by Destructoid

You already know about Dan's Hardware, the first store you visited in Schedule 1. But there are plenty of deals to make in Hyland Point that don't revolve around dirt and fertilizer. We placed bright blue letters on the map to highlight all the stores we found in the game, with some noteworthy spots including Gas-Mart, the Mayor's House, and Top Tattoos.

Some of those stores will sell you the ingredients and tools necessary to keep your supplies flowing and your empire growing. Others let you change your appearance, like Thrifty Threads with its clothes. Only a few stores do something different.

Rays Realty, which we already mentioned, allows you to buy new locations. If you want to navigate town quickly, you can head to Hyland Auto to buy a car. If you don't have the money for a van yet, how about another four-wheeler?

Shred Shack will sell you a skateboard, which is functionally a vehicle with no cargo. Meanwhile, the Warehouse supplies guns later in the game. Weirdly enough, it's the only place you can buy a melee weapon as well.

Lastly, you have dead drop points all over the map, including behind the Motel, near the Warehouse, and inside the Gazebo at the bottom of the region. If you want to get from Point A to B quickly, searching around for these faraway lands and keeping them to memory will help.

A CoD operator using the BO6 Warzone weapon attachment Monolithic Suppressor on a pistol.

A mainstay of Call of Duty: Warzone loadouts of years past is back as part of Black Ops 6's season three, continuing the theme of awesome features returning to the battle royale mode.

The Monolithic Suppressor was a must-use muzzle attachment on any gun it fit back in Warzone's heyday of 2020 and 2021, as its combination of suppressing sound and buffing damage range was a necessity in Verdansk. It's just another of several returning weapons, features, vehicles, and more to come alongside Verdansk's return in the April 2025 season for CoD's BR.

"Monolithic Core provides superior sound suppression and increased range," Activision said of the attachment. "Moderate weight increase affects agility. The ideal attachment for extending your damage range on big maps like Verdansk while retaining the concealment provided by a suppressor."

This suppressor is also one of the most versatile in the game, as it can be equipped on almost the entirety of the guns available in BO6, including all assault rifles (except for the AS VAL), SMGs, shotguns, LMGs, marksman rifles, sniper rifles, and pistols.

Here's everything you need to know about how to add the Monolithic Suppressor to your collection of Gunsmith attachments in BO6 and Warzone.

How to get the Monolithic Suppressor in Warzone and BO6

Screenshot by Destructoid

The Monolithic Suppressor is a reward as part of BO6's season three battle pass, and it can be found on page seven. To quickly get to page seven, unlock as many rewards as you can until the page becomes accessible, and then use one of your battle pass tokens to unlock it.

Once season three of BO6 comes to an end, the Monolithic Suppressor will be moved to the Armory, where it will be listed as an Armory Unlock, along with whatever else you did not grab during past seasons or events, such as other weapons or attachments.

After season three, you can find and unlock the Monolithic Suppressor by doing the following:

  • From BO6 or Warzone's menu, navigate to Barracks.
  • Select Challenges.
  • Select Armory.
  • Select Monolithic Suppressor as your active Armory Unlock.
  • Earn the required amount of XP.

After that, all that's left to do is play Warzone or BO6, earn XP, and the attachment will be yours before you know it. Use some double XP tokens if you wish to expedite the process, and then get ready to use the suppressor across all modes for some added range while staying silent.

HDR in Call of Duty Warzone

The HDR is one of the returning weapons in Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops 6, and we'll be able to unlock it for free.

You do need to complete a few steps before you can get your hands on it, so here's everything you need to know about unlocking this sniper rifle for both Battle Royale and multiplayer.

How to get the HDR for free in Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops 6

The HDR is a part of the Season 3 Battle Pass and you must reach and complete Page 3 to get it for free. It's the HVT Tier Reward of this page, which means you must first unlock all the other rewards of this group using Tokens.

While you get the base variant of this sniper from Page 3, Activision has also confirmed that a separate blueprint will be available to claim from Page 11 of Season 3 Battle Pass. You can level it up until 38, and it will also come with a Mastery Badge.

Here are all the attachment options for the HDR in Warzone:

  • Optic
  • Muzzle
  • Barrel
  • Underbarrel
  • Magazine
  • Rear Grip
  • Stock
  • Laser
  • Fire Mods

The HDR is one of the free weapons, alongside the Kilo 141, which has a different and easier process to unlock. Verdansk is also finally making a return to the battle royale, and players will be rushing in to try this sniper that used to dominate the meta back during the early Warzone days.

While Season 3 is almost here, here are all the start and end dates of all Call of Duty Black Ops 6 seasons so far.

Several Fisch players are fishing on the Isle of New Beginnings and there is a title on top and bottom of the page

The Second Sea in Fisch seems like it wants to overshadow everything we worked hard to obtain from the First Sea. Not only are all our old Rods nerfed in the Second Sea, but all the money we earned is useless, and we can't even level past 1,000 in the First Sea. For all of these reasons, we need a new spot for grinding XP and a new location for money farming, which is why we made this guide. Here are the Best Second Sea XP and Money Farming Locations in Fisch.

Best XP and Money Farming Locations in Fisch Second Sea

All Fisch rods have been nerfed
Screenshot by Destructoid

Here's how things stand right now:

  • You can level up to 1,000 in the First Sea, and up to 2,500 in the Second Sea
  • All the money you earn in the First Sea is useless in the Second Sea and vice-versa
  • You can't sell fish from the First Sea in the Second one and vice-versa
  • Rods from the First Sea have a 50% stats debuff in the Second Sea and vice versa
  • You need to be level 200 to access the Second Sea

With that out of the way, you pretty much need new fishing locations for grinding XP and money making after you level up to 1,000. We still recommend you stay in the First Sea until you hit max level there before you start going to these spots. Also, the Rods from the First Sea are still the best rods you can use in the Second one because of their passive abilities. Check out Fisch Second Sea Rod Tier list to see which rods are the best in the Second Sea. With that out of the way, here are the locations you should go to.

Best XP Farming Location in Fisch Second Sea

A Fisch player has gained a level in the Second Sea
Screenshot by Destructoid

The Best XP Farming Location in the Second Sea is the Isle of New Beginnings. This isle is next to the Island you first spawn in. The reason why this location is so good is because of Tartarugas. Just one of these giant turtles normally gives an entire level per catch. Additionally, you can catch Whisper Eels, which are harder to catch but don't give that much XP. Simply put, instead of fishing, go Turtleing ... or... Tartarugaing.

Best Money Farming Location in Fisch Second Sea

A Fisch player is holding a Tartaruga
Screenshot by Destructoid

So far, there really isn't a huge demand for E$ in Fisch because the most expensive rod in the Second Sea (Great Dreamer Rod) is only E$ 500,000. Because of this, players haven't really bothered doing the advanced math on where to earn the most money.

With that said, since you're going to need to farm XP, and since we already have a good place for that in the Second Sea, you may as well kill two birds with one stone and farm Tartarugas in the Isle of New Beginnings.

A normal-sized Tartaruga is worth around $E15,000, and if you manage to catch a few with a mutation, you can afford the most expensive second sea rod with about 20-30 of them. It's that simple. Things are definitely going to change as more content gets added and new rods get introduced but as of now, the Isle of New Beginnings is your new place to be for both money and XP farming.

That's all there is to it. Have fun catching Tartarugas and getting those levels and all the money. If you haven't already, check out our Fisch codes for some freebies.

Unleashing the powers of the Wunderwaffe DG-2

There's a lot going on in Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 3, from the return of the fan-favorite Versdansk to the latest weapon lineup. In this guide, we'll focus on the BO6 Zombies Season 3 patch notes, introducing an all-new map with Easter Eggs galore.

Black Ops 6 Zombies Season 3 patch notes

Before Verdansk returns on April 3, Black Ops 6 Season 3 will kick off a day early, giving you time to experience Zombies to the fullest. Let's go over the main highlights of the BO6 Zombies patch notes.

Shattered Veil map launch

Inside look into Shattered Veil map
Image via Activision

Treyarch has been good to Zombies fans, releasing a new map every season. For Season 3, we have the Shattered Veil, a map where you must use the Tomb's Sentinel Artifact. Open the doors to this mansion to meet up with the AI S.A.M.

According to the Call of Duty blog, Shattered Veil "rivals the size of Citadelle des Morts." That'll give you tons of points of interest to explore, starting with the main entrance of Colton Hall. The map also allows you to use a Microwave Trap, eliminating nearby zombies in exchange for 750 Essence. Or you can use the Dark Aether Field Generator to zap any undead out of existence.

New Enemy types: Elder Disciple and Toxic Zombies

Elder Disciple in Shattered Veil

The Disciples have been a part of several Call of Duty iterations, such as Modern Warfare 3 Zombies and Black Ops Cold War. BO6 Zombies will introduce a new enemy type known as the Elder Disciples. Both standard and Elder Disciples share similar powers of summoning zombie minions around them. However, with Black Ops 6, they can transform monsters into the dreaded Doppelghast.

In addition to the Elder Disciples, Toxic Zombies will appear in Shattered Veil. They'll be hard to miss with their glowing yellow hue. You'll have to eliminate these undead as quickly as possible, or they will cause an acidic explosion.

Returning Wonder Weapons

Ray Gun Mark 2 build
Image via Activision

Black Ops 2's Ray Gun Mark 2 and World at War's Wunderwaffe DG-2 will return in Black Ops 6 Season 3. The Mark 2 continues to have the same explosive effect as its predecessor, showcasing the following variants:

  • Ray Gun Mark 2-W: Shoots out bullets like a submachine gun, with a possibility of igniting zombies.
  • Ray Gun Mark 2-P: Shoots out bullets like a shotgun and has a random chance to grant a sigil of invulnerability.
  • Ray Gun Mark 2-R: Makes this Wonder Weapon feel like a Marksman Rifle, with a chance to cause a plague infection in its area-of-effect.

Each variant will essentially turn the Ray Gun Mark 2 into a classic Call of Duty weapon. If your playstyle leans toward the fast-paced action of SMGs, the close-quarters power of shotguns, or the precision of marksman rifles, pick the variant that perfectly matches these distinct weapon types.

Unlike the Ray Gun Mark 2, the Wunderwaffe DG-2 will only have one base version. Unleash its iconic chain-lightning attacks to defeat zombies.

Shattered Veil Main Quest rewards

Carver PhDeadly Operator reward

Every map includes an exclusive Main Quest, where you must complete a series of Easter Eggs without much guidance. You can earn rewards like the Carver PhDeadly Operator Skin, animated Calling Card, and 5,000 XP. There's an additional Shattered Veil Calling Card you can collect if you complete the Main Quest before Directed Mode (the guided Zombies experience) releases. This mode will debut during the mid-season point, so you have some time to knock it out.

Double Tap Perk Cola comeback

Using the Double Tap Perk Cola
Image via Activision

The Double Tap Perk-a-Cola makes a comeback in the Shattered Veil. Consume it to place a rapid-fire buff on your weapon, inflicting a significant amount of damage. Once Season 3 comes out, this perk will appear in the other maps, such as Citadelle des Morts, the Tomb, Liberty Falls, and Terminus.

To improve the Double Tap's performance, ensure to research these augments:

  • Major Augments:

    • Double Jeopardy: Normal zombies with low health can die immediately when hit.
    • Double Impact: Double hits on the same target deal more damage.
    • Double Standard: Non-critical shots (normal bullets only) inflict double damage.

  • Minor Augments:

    • Double Time: Boosts fire rate bonus.
    • Double or Nothing: Weapons can inflict double damage or zero damage (it's a matter of luck with this one).
    • Double Play: Killing two enemies at once has the potential to return rounds to your magazine (normal bullets only).

New GobbleGums

Three new GobbleGums of BO6 Zombies Season 3
Image via Activision

BO6 Zombies Season 3 brings three new GobbleGums to your collection. Here's what they can do:

  • Tactical Diffision (Rare GG): When encountering a Nuke Power-Up, you'll receive 2,000 Essence instead of an explosion.
  • Support Group (Legendary GG): Obtain the ARC-XD, Mangler Cannon, Sentry Gun, and Mutant Injection Support items.
  • Die Pitched (Whimsical GG): Zombies will have high-pitched voices for three minutes.

The Tactical Diffusion seems like it'll be my favorite GobbleGum so far, mainly because I'm not a fan of how frequently Nuke Power-Ups spawn. While this Power-Up helps eliminate most zombies, it does trigger the next round, which isn't that helpful when you're working on an Easter Egg.

The Support Group GobbleGum sounds great for Zombies multiplayer, especially when you're on the hunt for Support weapons. However, the latest Whimsical item won't be as helpful, as it's primarily for laughs and not buffs.

Death Machine Support Scorestreak

Using the Death Machine Scorestreak
Image via Activision

Complete objectives in the Black Ops Tribute event to unlock the Death Machine Scorestreak. Discover this ability at the Crafting Table, which requires you to exchange a certain amount of Salvage. You'll unlock a machine gun that's an absolute beast on the battlefield, featuring an extensive magazine size and rapid-fire rates.

Team Cranked mode

Using the Ray Gun Mark 2
Image via Activision

In Team Cranked mode, you'll have to work with fellow Zombies players to fill the Cranked Timer through eliminations. Each time you get a kill, you'll activate hidden powers for your Operator and earn more Essence. If you want to stay in this robust state, keep killing zombies to replenish the timer. You can also leverage the Time Stopper and Time Extended power-ups to maintain this state.

The only downside to the Team Cranked mode is that Wall Buys are no longer available. Still, you can use the Mystery Box or customize your loadouts to compensate for this disadvantage. Anyone who lasts until Round 50 will get a personalized selection of six GobbleGums and 15,000 XP per map. For additional information about Season 3 patch notes, check out our Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and Warzone overviews.

Cantarella, the newest premium Resonator made available in Wuthering Waves 2.2, is an interesting character to consider pulling. If you're looking to pull on Canatrella's banner, the question of 'Is she worth it?' is likely on your mind; let's dig into it.

Should You Pull for Cantarella?

Wuthering Waves consistently introduces powerful and unique characters, and with the arrival of Cantarella, we have to ask whether she's worth pulling. The short answer is no, at least not right now. While she brings an intriguing playstyle and some abilities to the table, there are a few key reasons why she isn't currently the best investment.

Lack of that Perfect Teammate

One of the biggest reasons Cantarella falls short in her current state is that she lacks the teammates to truly shine. Her buffs focus on enhancing Havoc and Skill DMG, and the game does not have a character that can capitalize on this currently. Additionally, if you're looking for buffs to boost Havoc or Skill DMG separately, there are already better options in the roster.

While she can perform well with Jinshi due to her Outro buffs, she is still not ideal, making Cantarella's placement in the current meta is strange, to say the least.

Middling Performance at Sequence 0

Cantarella isn't necessarily weak, but at S0 (her base form with no Sequences unlocked), she doesn't bring anything extraordinary to the table. Her unique mechanic, Hazy Dream, is useful for controlling enemies, but the Jolts she triggers are significantly underwhelming unless she reaches S2. This makes her less impactful than other buffers or DPS characters who can deliver higher output with minimal investment, such as Zhezhi.

Limited Viability as a DPS

While you can technically use Cantarella as a DPS at S0, she isn't optimal. Her damage remains mediocre across the board, and without unlocking her S2 and S3, she doesn't perform at the level most players would expect from a primary damage dealer. If you're committed to obtaining her and are willing to push for S3, she may be worth considering. However, if you're a more casual or free-to-play player looking for efficiency, you might want to hold off and wait for a potential rerun.

Camellya and Shorekeeper are Better Options

Another major reason to skip Cantarella for now is that there are better banners to invest in. Camellya is a top-tier DPS choice, making her a much stronger pick for players looking to maximize their team's damage output. Additionally, with Shorekeeper's rerun on the horizon, she remains one of the most valuable characters to have on your account, thanks to her incredible CRIT buffs and passive healing. If you're looking for a worthwhile investment, these two characters offer significantly more impact than Cantarella.

Final Verdict?

Cantarella is an interesting character, but she doesn't justify a pull right now. Her lack of strong synergy partners, underwhelming performance at S0, and the high investment required to make her shine make her a risky choice. Waiting for a rerun or a more suitable character release is the better move.

She may have future potential, but as things stand, her impact is limited. If you're looking for a strong, immediately useful buffer or DPS character, there are better alternatives available.

Ronaldo Lima in EA FC 25

Immortals is set to be the next EA FC 25 promo in Ultimate Team, and the first set of leaks have started to appear on social media ahead of the release.

EA Sports has so far been tight-lipped about which cards will be part of the promo. Thanks to the leaks, however, we have an idea about what to expect, and the upcoming campaign is surely going to be an exciting one.

EA FC 25 Immortals players (leaks)

As of writing, only one card has been leaked. Immortals is going to be similar to 2024's Golazo promo, which only featured Icons and Heroes. The leak so far has been a big one, and the card will be high on every wish list.

  • Ronaldo

More leaks are expected to appear over the next few days as we get closer to the release date of the promo. Expect to see some big names and legends of the game, and the campaign could include some Heroes who are yet to get a special version in this year's Ultimate Team.

Icons and Heroes are also expected to have baby versions, which are lower-rated cards of the footballing legends. Some of them could get improvements in the future based on whether they're useable in ongoing evolutions.

While a bulk of the cards will be obtainable from packs, expect to see some nice SBCs and objectives. These cards will be available to all as long as players complete the tasks related to the SBCs/objectives.

EA FC 25 Immortals release date

Unlike the cards, we already have confirmation of the release date. The upcoming promo will go live on Friday, April 4. This is the same day when the Dreamchasers cards will be removed from the packs. The new cards will be available in different store packs, so you can try your luck with them. Any stored pack that offers a Rare Gold player will also offer the chance to reward you with a promo card.

The phrase "find your one & oni" under the phasmophobia logo over a background of a rainbow sky for April Fools' 2025.

Phasmophobia frequently releases seasonal updates to add special holiday twists to the ghost-hunting process. There aren't updates for every holiday, though, so you may wonder whether there's one for April Fools' 2025.

Some holidays get a fresh update each year, while others only have playable content occasionally. The devs also love to release secrets and hidden features, so finding new content isn't always easy. Here's everything you need to know about Phasmophobia's April Fools' 2025 content and whether or not there's an update.

Is there a Phasmophobia update for April Fools' 2025?

A ghost named Amy saying "I think I'm Jinn love with you" in Phasmophobia.
Screenshot by Destructoid

Sadly, there is no April Fools' 2025 update for Phasmophobia. There's only ever been one update for this holiday, so while Phasmophobia does feature many annual seasonal events, April Fools' is usually not one of them.

All upcoming updates are listed on the official Phasmophobia Trello board, so if you're ever unsure when the next one will be, this is the best place to look. We always get an Easter event, and this year is no different, so we are at least getting fresh content sometime soon since it has to be released before the end of April.

Phasmophobia April Fools' 2025 content

Although there's no actual update for April Fools' 2025, there's still a bit of fun Phasmophobia content for this holiday in the form of a fake update trailer posted by the devs called "Hunt for Love." In this trailer, the ghosts are romanceable and have plenty of puns to share, like "I think I'm Jinn love with you" and "Stop hiding my love! Raiju gotta be like that?"

Instead of the usual three pieces of evidence you can find using equipment, the ghosts featured in this trailer have likes. Some of these likes include murder, poetry, hunting, and snacks.

There's no actual love-based update for the ghost-hunting game, as the trailer ends by saying "available never" and "wishlist never." It's still a fun and silly way to celebrate April Fools', though, and it's certainly worth viewing if you're a fan of Phasmophobia.

https://twitter.com/PlayPhasmo/status/1907025299126050878

All April Fools' updates and content for Phasmophobia

Phasmophobia released content for April Fools' in 2022, 2023, and 2025. The content has varied each year, and there was nothing for this holiday in 2021 or 2024. There are regular seasonal events for most major holidays, but since April Fools' is a smaller one, it generally seems to be hit-or-miss.

Phasmophobia 2022 April Fools'

The 2022 April Fools' content featured fake patch notes with new locations, OP ghost abilities, lots of silly equipment, possession mode, and more. There was no actual update this year, though, and the patch notes were just a joke to celebrate this holiday.

Phasmophobia 2023 April Fools'

2023 is the only actual April Fools' update Phasmophobia has had so far. This small update made all players' heads extremely large, gave all ghosts vocalizations a higher pitch, caused all players to constantly be in a T-pose position, and had ghosts T-pose when passing through the DOTS Projector or performing certain ghost events.

Phasmophobia 2025 April Fools'

The full extent of the 2025 Phasmophobia content for April Fools' is just the previously mentioned trailer. It's not much, but luckily, we do have an imminent Easter event and update to look forward to. This update will likely launch a week or two before Easter, so expect to see new content sometime between April 10 and 28.

Scorpion in Fortnite

Mortal Kombat is back in Fortnite, baby. While Sub-Zero has been here for a while, we now have Scorpion as a limited-time boss, and you can fight for a special Medallion reward. The catch? He has multiple spawn locations and is tough to beat.

Fortnite Scorpion boss locations

Scorpion can spawn in the following locations around your Fortnite map:

  • Southwest of Flooded Frogs
  • East of Shining Span
  • In the underground tunnels of Masked Meadows

You'll know which POI he's appearing in when you open your map at the beginning of your match and see his Medallion icon. Upon arriving at one of these spots, you'll find a gong to activate and a pair of Sub-Zero gloves to help you in your fight.

Once you ring the gong, Scorpion will spawn in the center of the arena with Mortal Kombat's "3, 2, 1, Fight" sounds playing. You'll also get some great music as you two duke it out. If he wins, he'll eliminate you from the match. If you win, you'll receive the First Blood Medallion, Scorpion's Mythic Kombat Kit, and other goodies.

How to defeat Scorpion in Fortnite

Scorpion has several short-range and long-range attacks, depending on where you and other nearby players are situated. His first long-range attack lets him launch a spear that inflicts damage and pulls you to him. Shortly after, he'll remove his mask, revealing a skull head, before spewing fire at you.

Don't think he's only dangerous long-range, though. He's a formidable fighter close-range, punching and kicking away while launching flames for extra damage. Fortunately, most of these are fairly easy to dodge as long as you have some traversal tools or run from strafe while attacking.

Fortnite First Blood Medallion
Screenshot by Destructoid

Your best bet is to pick up some shield potions first, have a medkit or two on you, and be the first person to grab Sub-Zero's Kombat Kit so you don't have to travel around in search of a weapon. Otherwise, use whichever tools you're comfortable with and try not to get caught off-guard by his spear attack or other players.

Rediscover Pokemon Go Update artwork

The Pokémon Go Spotlight Hour schedule for the month of April has been announced, and there are plenty of exciting tasks for players to enjoy.

The full schedule was revealed on the first day of the month, and no, there are no surprises. There will be four Spotlight hours during the fourth month of the year, and this guide will provide you with all the important details.

Next Pokémon Go Spotlight Hour date and time

The next Pokémon Go Spotlight Hour is on April 8, 2025, between 6 and 6:59 p.m. local time. The first Spotlight Hour in the month of April will be about Meditite, and players will get double candy after successfully transferring their catches. The four Spotlight hours will take place on the second, third, fourth, and fifth Tuesdays, respectively.

Pokémon Go Spotlight Hour schedule for April 2025

Here's the full Spotlight Hour schedule for April 2025:

Spotlight Hour Date Time Spotlight Pokemon All Bonus Can you get Shiny Pokemon?
April 8, 2025 6 - 7 p.m. local time Medititle Doble transferring Candy Yes
April 15, 2025 6 - 7 p.m. local time Fomantis Double Evolution XP Yes
April 22, 2025 6 - 7 p.m. local time Morelull Double Catch Stardust Yes
April 29, 2025 6 - 7 p.m. local time Abra Double Catch XP Yes

While the spawn rate of the selected creatures increases during Spotlight Hour, the bonus earned will apply to all.

How to prepare for Spotlight Hour in Pokémon Go

You can prepare for an upcoming Spotlight Hour by acquiring as many Poké Balls and Berries as possible. If you're taking full advantage of this hour, you'll likely use a lot of Poké Balls, just as you would when setting up Incense or Lure Modules. The Berries can help, too, if the Pokémon is trying to make a grand escape when capturing it.

Poke Balls in Pokemon Go

Fortunately, it's pretty easy to get Poké Balls and Berries, including activities like spinning Gym stops and opening gifts from friends. Regular Poké Balls should work fine, but you can utilize the advanced versions like Great and Ultra Balls. This Pokémon Go event also provides special bonuses to give you an extra hand with XP, Stardust, and Candy.

Can you increase your chances of getting Shiny Pokémon during Spotlight Hour?

Although you can get a Shiny Pokémon during Spotlight Hour, unfortunately, you can't increase your chances. The spawn rates are already boosted during this time of the day, but you can increase your chances of catching one using Incense and Lures.

Pokemon Go Incense

However, even with Incense and Lures, Shinies still aren't guaranteed. I once caught more than 50 creatures in a Spotlight Hour, and not once did it give me a Shiny variant. It's a relatively unpredictable system, but that's just the way it goes in the world of Pokémon Go.

If you want to boost your chance to get a Shiny variant, test your skills in raids. To keep track of this event's schedule, here's a breakdown of upcoming Pokémon Go raids.

Two players with different classes standing next to each other in Dead Rails Roblox experience

Going without any starting items into your next run can be really tiresome in Dead Rails. Buying items that last you only for one life is arguably as bad. However, there is a way to start each journey loaded up, and that is by getting and equipping classes. So, without further ado, find out which classes are the best by following our ultimate Dead Rails class guide and tier list.

What are Classes in Dead Rails?

In Dead Rails, your class defines starting items (revolver, helmet, etc.) and passive bonuses (you can revive other players without bandages, etc.) that your character will have during the run. You can see your current class above your head while in the lobby. By default, you will have no class (None).

Dead Rails Class Tier List

In the Dead Rails class tier list below, we ranked all classes from best to worst based on their overall strength, both when playing solo or with a party. In general, classes that cost more Bonds to unlock are stronger than the rest. However, that is not always the case. The Ironclad class is an excellent example of a relatively weak class that costs a lot of Bonds to unlock. To cut the story short, here is our Dead Rails class tier list:

  • S-tier: Vampire, Survivalist
  • A-tier: Conductor, Zombie, High Roller, Cowboy
  • B-tier: Miner, Ironclad, Priest
  • C-tier: The Alamo, Doctor, Arsonist

A tier list of all Classes in Dead Rails made via TierMaker that goes as follows: S-tier: Vampire, Survivalist; A-tier: Conductor, Zombie, High Roller, Cowboy; B-tier: Miner, Ironclad, Priest; C-tier: The Alamo, Doctor, Arsonist
All classes in Dead Rails ranked from best to worst – Image via TierMaker

Best Classes for Solo Play

If you like to play alone and hog all the Bonds for yourself, then you should farm them up and get either Vampire, Survivalist, or Zombie. Vampire is the best class in Dead Rails for solo play because of its survivability and speed. However, it has a very unique playstyle. So, you can't expect that other players will always conform to you unless all of you are playing as Vampires.

All Classes in Dead Rails - Details, Pros, and Cons

Below, you can find all the Dead Rails classes along with their cost, the starting items they give you, and the unique passive bonuses they provide you with. Also, we highlighted the pros and cons of each class to provide more context to the Dead Rails tier list above.

How to Get and Change Your Class in Dead Rails

  • A player standing in front of the Tailor shop in the Dead Rails Roblox experience
  • Preview of the Tailor classes menu in the Dead Rails Roblox experience

In Dead Rails, you can get new classes and change your current class at the Tailor NPC in the main lobby. Each class costs some amount of Bonds to unlock, and changing your class is possible only before you start a run.

If you're just starting out in Dead Rails, you should save up all the Bonds that you find and invest them into unlocking new classes. This way, you will always have a decent starting loadout and powerful passive abilities.

How to Farm Bonds

If you want to unlock a class in Dead Rails, you first have to farm some Bonds. The best locations to find Bonds are the castle at the 40km mark and the Bank vaults in burning towns on the side of the rail. For more information on how to approach entering these places, check out our guide on how to farm bonds in Dead Rails.

That concludes our ultimate Dead Rails tier list and class guide. If you are still indecisive about picking your go-to weapon, check out our Dead Rails weapons tier list and find your new main.

Captain Marvel punching upwards while standing by a mirror in a bathroom in Fortnite.

To celebrate April Fools', Fortnite has a collection of silly quests for you to complete. Some of them are straightforward, but others are a bit tricky, as is the case with the "find the coolest player on the island" task.

This quest can be tough since you have to figure out who the coolest player on the island is and where they can be found. It's a fairly doable task once you know what you're looking for, so here's how to find the coolest player on the island in Fortnite.

Who is the coolest player on the island in Fortnite?

Captain Marvel looking in a mirror in Fortnite.
Screenshot by Destructoid

For the 2025 April Fools' quests, the coolest player on the island in Fortnite is you, so to finish this task, you have to find a way to view yourself. This can only be done at specific locations around the island, so to complete it, you need to travel to one of the specified areas around the map.

Where to find the coolest player on the island in Fortnite

The coolest player on the island, which is you, can be found by viewing a mirror in Fortnite so you can see yourself. There are several locations you can visit to find one, including:

  • Lonewolf Lair. Head into the fancy bathroom at this mansion to find a mirror you can look into.
  • Brutal Boxcars. There is a mirror in both bathrooms at this location, so you can head inside either one to finish this task.
  • The mountain cabin located slightly northeast of Foxy Floodgate. A mirror can be found in the bathroom here.
  • The small house by flower fields south of Seaport City. There's a mirror hanging over the sink in the bathroom at this home.

At all of these spots, you're looking for a mirror to look into, and they can only be found in bathrooms. Once you've landed at any of these locations, look for the diamond icon with an exclamation point in it to find the exact right spot if you're unsure of where the bathrooms are.

The find the coolest player on the island quest locations highlighted in Fortnite.
Screenshot by Destructoid

When you approach any of the mirrors at these spots, the quest should automatically be completed. I found it can be a bit glichy, though, so if it doesn't work right away, jump on the sink in front of it to get closer. If this doesn't work, break the sink and walk up to it again. Keep trying to approach the mirror from different angles until the quest is complete.

You only get 2,000 XP for finishing this quest, so it's not much on its own, but if you complete additional ones, it adds up pretty quickly. Finishing three April Fools' quests also gets you a bonus 30,000 XP, so tackling as many as possible is a great way to level up and unlock more rewards on the battle pass.

Once you're done with this task, there are plenty of other quests worth working on around the island. Next, you might try finding Scorpion's Kombat Kit, completing the someone is planning a joyride found quest, and tracking down the Sabrina Carpenter Easter egg.

Workers in Schedule 1

The success or failure of your business empire in Schedule 1 largely depends on your workers, and you have the freedom to reassign them as required.

Your workers allow you set up systems that take care of all the important processes on their own. But the demand of certain products will change, and you'll have to make changes to the assigned work for your employees. This guide will help you to reassign your workers as required in Schedule 1 and use your workstations optimally.

Can you reassign workers in Schedule 1?

You can reassign workers just as easily as you can assign them in the first place. You'll need the management clipboard (press the 9 key to activate it). Once you have the management clipboard equipped, select a worker, and you'll find all the tasks assigned to them.

How to reassign your workers in Schedule 1?

Management clipboard in Schedule 1
Screenshot by Destructoid

To reassign them to another task, click on the edit section. Select the task they have assigned to them, and it will be removed. Do the same once again, and you'll be able to assign the worker to a new task. You can also assign them to the older task if you want. As long as they have available work on the new task, your worker will automatically start working on the project.

Assigning your workers to a new supply station is slightly trickier, as some of them refuse to understand the change. If you find that any of your worker is still using an old cabinet to store items on it, the only option is to sell the cabinet. This will allow you to assign your worker to a new storage space. I believe that it could be a bug, but this workaround will make your experience in the game much easier.

Having the ability to reassign your workers allows you to set up automated systems in properties like the Docks and the Barn. Make sure to check out our automation guide to get the best setups for your properties.

Three of the most powerful cards in Anime Card Clash with the player in the background behind them

There are more than 150 cards in Anime Card Clash, and each one has a unique ability and several variations. Now, we have a list of them all below, and even though you would assume that the rarer cards are more powerful, that isn't always the case in ACC. So, if you want to find out everything there is to cards and which ones stand out from the rest, follow our ultimate Anime Card Clash card guide and tier list below.

Anime Card Clash Card Types and Versions Explained

Preview of the Deck menu in Anime Card Clash with all sorts of cards in it
You can recognize different card variations by their border color

Every card in Anime Card Clash has an ability and a certain amount of damage and HP. There are four different variations of each card, with each having a distinct border color. Essentially, cards have four strength tiers. You can merge cards to "upgrade" a card to a higher tier, but more on this later in the guide. Now, here are the four card tiers and their stat and rarity scaling:

  • Basic: Basic Stats, Basic Rarity
  • Gold: Basic Stats x4, Basic Rarity x100
  • Rainbow: Gold Stats x4, Gold Rarity x100
  • Secret: Rainbow Stats x4, Rainbow Rarity x100

Anime Card Clash Tier Lists

Anime Card Clash has a vast variety of cards. So, we decided to separate them into three categories: rare Regular cards, common Regular cards, and Support cards. Based on the same categorization, we made three different tier lists. Each Anime Card Clash tier list below ranks cards from best to worst primarily based on the strength of their abilities.

For the most part, we didn't let base stats influence the ranking that much. Obviously, rarer cards have higher stats. Thus, they are stronger than more common cards on a base level. However, that stat gap between cards gets reduced when you upgrade cards to higher tiers. With that in mind, each Anime Card Clash tier list below is there to help you choose which cards to include in your party out of the best and rarest ones you currently have.

To showcase the logic behind every Anime Card Clash tier list further in the guide, we can compare the gold version of the Diamond Warrior (25,000,000 Rarity) and the basic version of the Limitless Master (20,000,000 Rarity). Gold Diamond Warrior and Basic Limitless Master have similar stats. However, the Diamond Warrior has a way better ability. Thus, the Diamond Warrior will be positioned higher on the tier list.

Anime Card Clash Regular Card Tier List for Infinite Tower and PvP (3,000,000+)

Anime Card Clash tier list of regular cards with rarity 3,000,000 and above, made via TierMaker that goes like this: S+-tier: Soul Queen, Awakened Limitless Master, Soul King, Awakened Pale Demon Lord, Combat Giant, Eternal Dragon, Armored Giant, Compass Demon, The Impure Ghost, Beast Giant; S-tier: Awakened Frost Demon, Cosmic Villain, Awakened Six-Eyed Slayer, Biscuit Warrior, Lunar Guardian, Shadow Duelist, Blade Captain, Berserker Shinigami, Awakened Earth's Strongest, Genie Commander, Awakened Promised Child; A-tier: Awakened Galactic Tyrant, Awakened Prideful Prince, Null, Cursed Fist, Eternal Mage, King of Curses, Forest Sage, Final Shinigami, Mochi Emperor, Blue Slime, Crimson Empress; B-tier: Cursed Doll, Terrible Tornado, Limitless Master, Rika's Blessing, Red Pilot, Blood Fiend, Namekian Sage, Survey Commander, Divine Guide, Candy Master, Ultimate Warrior, Ice Empress; C-tier: Blade Warrior, Ice Empress Shinigami, Esper Prodigy, Love Hashira, Six Paths of Pain, Body Switcher, Time Wizard, Childish Demon, Thunder Demon, Black Flame, Awakened Shadow Summoner, Juice Queen; D-tier: Seven Sea King, White Panther, Red Dragon Emperor, White Dragon Emperor, Insect Hashira, Red Emperor, Sun Lion, Snake Empress, Bijuu Beast, Mist Hashira, Dragon King, Stone Hashira; F-tier: Galactic Tyrant, Destroyer Deity, Nekomata, Sun Deity, Awakened Dark Avenger, Frost Demon, Sun Blaze Shinigami, Healing Fist, Sword Saint, Earth's Strongest, Bald Hero.
Cards from 1–3,000,000 rarity ranked — Image via TierMaker

To differentiate between "Rare" and "Common" cards, we drew the Rarity line at 1/3,000,000 chance. Most of the Anime Card Clash cards listed in the above tier list are useful in basically every game mode. However, some rarer ones are overkill for the bigger part of the Story and Raids. For that reason, the cards are ranked based on how powerful they are in scenarios where you are fighting against multiple cards at the same time, like in the Infinite Tower and PvP.

Anime Card Clash Regular Card Tier List for Story and Raids (1–3,000,000)

Anime Card Clash tier list of all regular cards whose rarity is below 3,000,000, made via TierMaker and it goes like this: S+-tier: Ice Dragon, Masked Emperror, Straw Hat, Diamond Warrior; S-tier; Deranged Assassin, Crimson Eyes, Star Fist, Half-Demon Swordsman, Golden Vampire, Dark Avenger, Peaceful Swordsman; A-tier: Pale Demon Lord, Copy Ninja, Crimson Vampire, Lost Hunter, Lunar Angel, The Irregular, Bamboo Demon, Unstoppable Fist, Blood Fiend, Six-Eyed Slayer; B-tier: Sacred Ronin, Awakened Wild Hunter, Titania, Psycho Stalker, Surgeon of Death, Homeroom Teacher, Muscle Head, Black Swordsman, Crow Master, Light Admiral; C-tier: White Ghoul, Snake Hashira, Golden Wind, Ripple Knight, Death Log, Thunder Flash, Prideful Prince, Shadow Summoner, Water Hashira, Black Demon, Golden King; D-tier: Promised Child, Blade Rebel, Cat Burglar, Stark Gunner, Wild Hunter, Hero of Light, Metal Alchemist, Fire Dragon, Chainsaw Fiend, Space Cowboy, Science King, Green Bomber
Cards from 1–3,000,000 rarity ranked — Image via TierMaker

Both Raids and Story in ACC have one thing in common: you fight against only one card. Because of that, your party composition will mainly include cards that either inflict long-duration status effects or deal damage equal to a percentage of the opponent's maximum HP. So, the above tier list ranks common cards based on how useful they are at dealing with one card only.

By clearing the Story and Raids in ACC, you will get decent rare cards. Thus, every other game mode will become more accessible to you. Later on, you should form a party that is suited for fighting opponents that have the same number of cards as you. For example, that is the case in the Infinite Tower and PvP.

Anime Card Clash Support Card Tier List

Anime Card Clash tier list of support cards made via TierMaker that goes as follows: S-tier: Orb of Dominance, Galaxy Hero, Shadow Mage, Slayer Mark, Shinobi Cells; A-tier: Limitless, Sacred Art Uzumaki, Sealed Cube, Heart of the Cards, Fallen Knight, Beast Contract; B-tier: Froststorm Blade, Null Blade, Red Thorn, Mech Contract; C-tier: Binding Light, Mystic Spheres, Vase of Greed, Berserk Mode, Dragon Sin Blades, Music Idol; D-tier: Fox Cloak, Ninja Vest, Holy Staff, Cursed Ledger, Substitution Log
All Support Cards ranked from best to worst — Image via TierMaker

The support card tier list above is applicable to every game mode in Anime Card Clash. However, there are a few exceptions to it, like the Shinobi Cells card, which has no use when fighting against a single card. In general, support cards that boost your stats and let you negate or survive enemy attacks are the strongest in Anime Card Clash.

List of Cards in Anime Card Clash

Below, you can find a list of all cards in Anime Card Clash, along with their rarity, ability, pros and cons, and their base damage and HP. We decided to classify ACC cards based on how you can obtain them, so we formed these categories:

  • Regular and Support cards — Obtainable from the start.
  • Pack-specific cards — Obtainable when you equip specific card packs.
  • Boss cards — Obtainable from regular rolls after you defeat Bosses in Story mode.
  • Moon Cycle cards — Obtainable only during specific Moon cycles.
  • Raid Boss cards — Obtainable in exchange for Boss Shards at the Raid exchange NPC.
  • Quest cards — Obtainable by completing quests.

The Second Sea brought a slew of new content for Fisch, but the jury is still out on whether it was the right choice. Arguably, the Second Sea currently feels more like starting Fisch as a level 1 player (but a different location), than an update. Since the Second Sea seems like it wants to replace the First Sea, we figured it was only fair we make a new Rod Tier List for it. Here is the Fisch Second Sea Rod Tier List.

Fisch 2nd Sea Rod Tier List

A Fisch player has arrived in the Second Sea
Screenshot by Destructoid

In case you don't already know, all First Sea rods are nerfed in the Second Sea. Almost all of them have a Lure Speed of 0%, and all of them have their Stats reduced by 50%. Now, are you ready for the weirdest part? First Sea rods are still the best rods you can use in the Second Sea, despite the nerf. It should also be noted that enchantments and passive abilities (like mutations) aren't affected by the nerf. So expect to see a lot of First Sea Rods in this Tier list.

With that said, definitely check back frequently because as better Second Sea Rods get added, they will undoubtedly replace many of the rods here. Without further ado, here it is:

Note: Our Fisch Rod Tier List - Best Rods to Use is still relevant for the First Sea, so if you're still working your way to the Second Sea, check it out.

Best XP Farming Rods in the Second Sea

A Tier list of the best XP farming rods in the Second Sea
Image via Tier Maker / Remix by Destructoid

All the Rods below are expected to have the Clever enchant for a x2.25 XP boost.

Tier Rod Name Info
S Picture of a Seraphic rod from Fisch
Seraphic Rod
Still the best rod for XP farming. The passive ability automatically fills about half your progress and the high stats make catching fish super fast.
S An image of the Challenger's Rod from Fisch
Challenger's Rod
The passive gives you a +20% progress speed (same as the Steady enchant), and gives you really good status. Because it already has the extra progress speed, this is a great rod grinding XP.
A Tempest Rod image from Roblox Fisch
Tempest Rod
The passive gives you a +15% progress speed , and gives you really good status. Cheaper than the Challenger's Rod, and the progress speed increase is still very good.
A No-Life rod in the Fisch Roblox experience
No-Life Rod
Great stats, has a small stab passive when reeling fish (similar to the Tempest Rod).
B Image of the Rod of the Forgotten Fang from Fisch
Rod Of The Forgotten Fang
Has really good stats, and causes every third perfect catch (doesn't need to be in a row) to spawn a Megalodon version of the next fish caught (which yields more money and more XP)

Best Money Farming Rods in the Second Sea

A Tier list of the best money farming rods in the Second Sea
Image via Tier Maker / Remix by Destructoid

Unlike XP Rods, Money Farming rods all need a different enchant and bait to make money farming as efficient as possible.

Tier Rod Name Info Best Enchant and Bait
S An image of the Ethereal Prism Rod from Fisch
Ethereal Prism Rod
Even with a status nerf, the Ethereal Prism Rod's passive makes money-making easy. The passive gives you a 50% chance to catch Primsize fish, which are sold for 8x their value. Blessed Song (or Steady) and Insect
S Image of a Zeus Rod from Fisch
Zeus Rod
This rod can spawn an Electric puddle. Almost all the fish caught in this puddle will have the Electric Shock mutation, which increases their sell value by x 3.5. The stats aren't amazing but this passive is. Blessed Song (or Steady) and Seaweed
A Picture of a Seraphic rod from Fisch
Seraphic Rod
Even though it doesn't have a great money making mutation, you can still catch fish really fast with this rod, and since time is money, you'll simply make more money in less time. Quantum and Insect
A An image of a Auric Rod from Fisch Roblox
Auric Rod
The stats aren't great but all fish caught with this rod have a chance to get a mutation which increases their value from x2 to x6. Hasty and Seaweed
B Image of the Rod of the Forgotten Fang from Fisch
Rod Of The Forgotten Fang
The passive, which triggers after 3 perfect catches (not consecutive), is what makes this rod really good for money making. Quantum and Seaweed

That's all there is to it. Again, as more updates keep rolling out, many of these will get replaced by actual Second Sea Rods. Until then, have fun catching fish and check out our Fisch codes for some cool freebies.

Zuko kicking with fire using Scorpion's Kombat Kit in Fortnite.

There are plenty of unique tools you can find and use around the island in Fortnite Chapter Six, Season Two. One of them is Scorpion's Kombat Kit, a fiery pair of melee gloves guaranteed to help you deal deadly damage.

Scorpion's Kombat Kit is a powerful weapon to have at your disposal, so mastering its abilities and learning where it can be found around the vast island is crucial. Here's how to get and use Scorpion's Kombat Kit in Fortnite.

Where to find Scorpion's Kombat Kit in Fortnite

Screenshot by Destructoid

The regular version of Scorpion's Kombat Kit can be randomly found as loot all across the island. There's also a Mythic version of it, which is exclusively obtained by taking down Scorpion himself.

If you're on the hunt for the standard version of Scorpion's Kombat Kit, do your best to open as many chests as you can and always stop to check for floor loot. It can appear anywhere in the world, so there's a chance you'll find it no matter where you are.

The Mythic variant of Scorpion's Kombat Kit is a lot tougher to acquire since there's only one version of it. You can earn this version by eliminating Scorpion, a boss who spawns at a few different spots around the island, including The Pit, The Living Forest, and The Dead Pool. His Medallion marker is always displayed on the map before he's been defeated, so you can use it to track down his precise location.

How to use Scorpion's Kombat Kit in Fortnite

Scorpion's Kombat Kit has two unique abilities you can use in Fortnite:

  • Attack: This is the primary function of this weapon, and it allows you to shoot rapid-fire projectiles, breathe fire, and deal deadly fiery strikes against your enemies.
  • Throw spear: The secondary ability of this weapon allows you to shoot out a chain with a spear attached to the end of it to grab enemies and pull them closer to you so you can then use your regular attack to eliminate them.

Both moves are focused on melee combat, so you need to be fairly close to an enemy to use this tool. The spear-throwing move can help with this since it allows you to pull in opponents from a decent distance away, so it's best to start by dragging your enemy closer with this ability.

Once you have them close, you can use the regular attack function to swiftly take them out. If they try to get away at any point, be sure to use the spear-throwing ability to reel them right back in. Anytime an enemy does get out of range, it's best to switch to a gun since you won't be able to deal damage from afar using Scorpion's Kombat Kit.

If you're not sure what to do next on the island after acquiring this special item, consider working on the April Fools' 2025 quests, tackling the someone is planning a joyride task, or tracking down the secret Sabrina Carpenter Easter egg.
