Rockstar has said it is continuing to improve and evolve GTA Online, and one of the ways it is doing this is by cycling select Adversary Modes and Player Jobs in and out of the game.
According to the studio, because GTA Online offers such a diverse array of gameplay, with over 1,000 Rockstar-created Jobs and "tens of millions" player-created Jobs, cycling Rockstar-created Jobs in and out of the game over time will help free up space for future new missions and modes.
The firm said another way it is improving the game is focusing on the game's matchmaking by steering the community toward a more streamlined list of Jobs from week to week.
Square Enix and Eidos Montreal have provided a list featuring some of the songs that will be included in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.
The soundtrack reads like a list of some of the biggest hits from the 80s and includes tracks from Soft Cell, Europe, Blondie, Blue Oyster Cult, Kiss, Flock of Seagulls, and Twisted Sister among others.
Tracks include the played-to-death - and song I personally loathe - Starship's We Built this City, A-ha classic Take On Me, Loverboy's absolutely rockin' Turn Me Loose, Billy Idol favorite White Wedding, and the Motley Crue song that caused me to get a speeding ticket, Kickstart My Heart.
Far Cry 6 rare materials include items such as uranium and gunpowder that are essential for upgrading your weapons and unlocking all of Juan Cortez's twisted creations.
After months of rumors and being rated in South Korea, Rockstar has finally confirmed the existence of a fully-remastered collection of three fan favorite PS2 games coming to everything (including Switch).

Children of Morta is a recommendation I give to people who are looking for something a little different to play. I'm extending that recommendation to you, too. This story-driven dungeon crawler has a powerful storytelling pulse, a rewarding progression system, and plenty of variety in its Diablo-like combat. You join the Bergson family on their quest to rid the land of an evil that will soon engulf their home. You get to play as each family member, and a narrator helps flesh them out. You see this family grow, suffer hardships, and unite to save everything they love. I adored this entire experience, giving it a review score of 9 out of 10.
Following the game's initial release, developer Dead Mage and publisher 11 Bit Studios have added a variety of content to give fans plenty of reasons to jump back in. The biggest reason to hop back in (or start a journey for the first time) just arrived in the Ancient Spirits DLC. You can still control any Bergson, but the the real hook of this new content is the new playable character named Yajouj'Majouj, a shifting entity born of the union of man and goblin. Yajouj'Majouj can shift forms on the fly and unleash unleash whirlwinds of magic or rely on the help of an ally.
This DLC also adds five relics, five charms, and five graces to further enhance the family's capabilities. Last but not least, each Bergson can be customized with masks.
Children of Morta can be played on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, Switch, and PC. It'll be one of the first games I check out on Switch OLED. If you do dive into it, drop me a line and let me know what you think of this unique and beautiful experience.

Find out today at 2 PM CST!
In 2009, From Software changed everything with Demon's Souls on the PlayStation 3. The challenging action RPG would go on to lead the way for a critical subgenre with the Souls games and Bloodborne. With the PS5, Demon's Souls found a new home with Bluepoint's remake of the original title. Once upon a time, we began a Demon's Souls journey that didn't last long. This time, we're going through it all. Today, Super Replay returns to its frenzied Friday slot with a new adventure featuring a full playthrough of Demon's Souls. This Super Replay is sure to be extra hot!

We're gonna be munching on all kinds of ridiculously fiery treats during the playthrough to really up the stakes. Everyone dies numerous times in Souls games, but what if you put the added pressure of some scorching zingers on top?
When our fearless champion perishes, the action gets amped up to new levels as we consume some of the hottest fare commercially available. How far will the crew go into hot challenge land as they travel through Boletaria and beyond? It's going to be spicy, and you don't want to miss it!
The action begins at 2 PM CST today, with a 2-hour block of delicious Demon's Souls. Will Marcus fall prey to the twists and turns of the game's opening? Demon's Souls doesn't mess around, and the levels can often be more maddening and dangerous than the bosses that would later come to be the highlights of From Software experiences.

This is sure to be one of the most epic Super Replays of all time, so come join us on Twitch for all the action. Can't make an episode? No problem – the episodes will be up on our YouTube page and easy to browse a day or so after we're live.
The whole point of the Nintendo Switch is that it's slim, and portable; it's easy to carry around and easy to pick up and play. But since we've been clamouring for a Switch Pro probably ever since the OG Switch came out, it's fun to imagine what it could look like.
With Metroid Dread's release, millions of people all over the world are getting the chance to experience the latest amazing episode in Samus Aran's story – but how many of you were lucky enough to get your hands on the swanky special edition of the game?
It ships in a lovely big box and comes with a special metal case, some art cards and a downright gorgeous art book which is packed with illustrations from the entire Metroid series, with a focus on showing off the concept art for Metroid Dread – some of which is absolutely jaw-dropping.
Unless you've been living under a giant Morph Ball-shaped rock for the last few months, you're probably aware that Metroid Dread has launched for Nintendo Switch today. It's utterly fantastic, and you should definitely go and play it.
Before you do, though, we thought you'd like to check out this special artwork from the team at Bethesda. The studio has congratulated Nintendo on the launch of the new Metroid on social media, sharing a cracking piece of art featuring the Doom Slayer replacing Samus as the box art star.
You can still use your own screen protector, though.
One of the big changes Nintendo made with the Switch OLED is one you might not realise when you first pick it up: the screen is made of glass and not plastic, as was the case with the original Switch and the Switch Lite.
The reason you might not be aware of this fact when you use the console is that Nintendo has applied a very discreet "anti-scattering adhesive film" over the glass which prevents it from breaking into thousands of dangerous bits if it gets smashed. It also provides protection from scratches.
A crazy fantasy is finally coming true: we're getting Grand Theft Auto on the Nintendo Switch. It's been over ten years since we last had a GTA on Nintendo consoles, which was Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars on the DS, and since then the car-stealing, pedestrian-punching simulator has largely been confined to PlayStations and Xboxes.
But as of today, Nintendo is back in the game, as Rockstar announced that they're bringing Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — The Definitive Edition to the Nintendo Switch, as well as other "current generation platforms" including the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S and X, as well as an iOS and Android release in 2022.
RockStar Games have finally announced that they have been working on Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition which they say features graphical improvements and modern gameplay enhancements. Rockstar promises that they will share more details on the three games which are Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft […]

Yesterday, Genshin Impact developer miHoYo announced that closed beta sign-ups for their new game Honkai: Star Rail will begin today. While it's set in the same universe as the popular mobile game Honkai Impact 3rd, the announcement confirmed that Star Rail will be available for both mobile and PC.
Yesterday, PlayStation boss Jim Ryan said he wants his company's games to one day be as prolific as music or movies. He would love to see a world where potentially "hundreds of millions of people" could enjoy them. It's the type of future a lot of gaming executives talk about, but one that Sony seems to have no…
You know an MMO's starting to click with you when you're logging on during lunch breaks. There's a moreish interplay between New World's gathering and crafting that's got its hooks in me. But for everything that Amazon Games has got right in its new MMO, there are plenty more features that feel undercooked and ill-considered, putting a significant dampener on the experience.
Does it scratch that itch you've got in the back of your brain for a new MMO? Definitely. Will you be gasping in awe, wondering how Amazon Games has managed to reinvigorate the genre? Probably not.
As soon as you get your first sword and shield in the tutorial zone, you'll notice that New World's combat differs significantly from most other MMOs. Rather than leaning on auto-attacks and cooldown-based abilities, New World employs an action-combat system that's closer to third-person RPGs like The Witcher 3 and Skyrim. The result is that swordplay feels so much more satisfying, and I'm no longer mindlessly clicking between mobs until the XP bar ticks over. It's certainly not the first MMO to give the player a more active role in combat, but melee brawls feel tight and responsive.
Vagrus: The Riven Realms has left Steam's Early Access programme, and the official launch has added a huge amount of content to the dark strategy RPG game. Early Access players have been tinkering with Vagrus since 2018, its development story begins much earlier, in tabletop RPG sessions played by a small group of friends 30 years ago.
Version 1.0 of Vagrus launched this week, already having pulled in 'very positive' reviews on Steam during Early Access. That's despite it being a complex, text-heavy, and brutal RPG that leans heavily into the pen-and-paper roleplaying systems its creators have always loved and played together.
In Vagrus, you play as the commander of a traveling caravan, and it's your job to manage your company and keep everyone alive as you travel across the post-apocalyptic wasteland of the Riven Realms. The world is big and open, and much of the game's joy is found in exploring new locations and discovering the stories and people hidden there. You'll also find all kinds of twisted monsters and undead, who you'll have to fight in turn-based battles that require careful attention to characters' abilities and positioning.
Xûr is Destiny 2's Exotic gear merchant. He appears every weekend to sell the game's most coveted items in exchange for Legendary shards, but if you're a casual player with limited shards to spend, it can be hard to know which of his wares is most worth your investment. That's where we come in.
As of June 12, 2020, it appears that Xûr is back to providing random rolls - so the Exotic merchant is providing more excitement than he has in a long time. Xûr appears every Friday at 10am PDT / 1pm EDT / 6pm BST, and will stick around until the Tuesday reset. We'll update this guide shortly after he arrives, so if you're reading this, you need only read on to learn where he is, and which are the best items he's selling this week.
Now we're in Beyond Light territory, but Xûr's first appearances have been at the usual spots - so maybe don't expect too many surprises from the merchant in the new year of Destiny content.
Bungie's pinnacle PvP activity is back in rotation with a major revamp, and if you're looking for details on the Destiny 2 Trials rewards this week, you've come to the right place. Before you start working your way up through the ladder, you'll want to know what you're actually working for - so here's a breakdown of what's available each week, and what map you'll be playing on.
If you're not familiar with Trials of Osiris, it's a weekly PvP challenge where you enter a competitive gauntlet of 3v3 elimination matches. Your rewards are now doled out with a reputation system, so it's not about pure wins anymore, but you will still get special rewards if you can manage to go flawless.
Trials lands with the reset every Friday at 10am PDT / 1pm EDT / 6pm BST, and lasts until the Tuesday reset at those same times. Each week provides a new set of rewards and a new map to play on, so here's what you can expect for the latest rotation.
So, you want some CK3 console commands and cheats? Crusader Kings 3 is a grand strategy game of great complexity, and planning. You could spend hours establishing your realm, raising your armies, and increasing your income - or alternatively, when nobody's looking, you could give yourself a little boost to prestige, perform a sneaky stabbing on someone who's annoying you, or simply conjure up a whopping great army from nowhere.
If you don't feel like playing by the book and want to have a go at scribbling all over it instead, there are a wealth of console commands available to you that can set pretty much every modifier in the game to your chosen value. With these cheat codes you're free to nudge the stats in your favour, or use them as tools to customise your experience and play out whatever scenarios you have in mind.
Unlike previous Paradox strategy games, in order to access these 'cheats', you have to launch the game in debug mode. This will disable achievements, but it will also allow you to access the command console like you can in other games. We've put together this guide to walk you through the process.
A group of performers will take to the stage in Fallout 76 to present what is arguably Shakespeare's most Halloweeny play, Macbeth. The Scottish play, as it's commonly known, will be staged at the MMORPG's recently constructed recreation of the bard's own Globe Theatre in Grafton.
The quick, 10-minute version of Macbeth involves two separate Fallout 76 acting troupes, the Fallout Five-O New Responders and the Free States roleplaying faction. Handling production and directing is Northern Harvest, who we spoke with back in July about bringing the art of theatre to Appalachia.
The play will be held October 23 at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET / 2 a.m. BST. No single Fallout 76 world instance holds enough players for a packed house, but don't worry about logging in and standing in line - the production will be broadcast to Twitch, and you'll be able to tune in at the Fallout Five-O channel. Refreshments will be available on a 'bring your own' basis, naturally, so make sure to get the popcorn taken care of ahead of time.
The New World Starstone Barrows Expedition is a step up in complexity compared to the Amrine Excavation. The second major dungeon in New World tests your abilities against strong foes, and how well you can work together with your party members. After completing Amrine, you should work on New World leveling a fair bit before you can tackle Starstone Barrows, as it doesn't unlock until almost ten levels later.
Like the previous expedition, Starstone Barrows is split into multiple sections - but this time, you'll encounter deadly puzzles and several mobs with Elite leaders. Similar to most MMO dungeons, the expedition also has a strong mini boss to contend with before a final fight against a much more challenging opponent. You're probably used to tackling objectives with others by now, but Starstone Barrows requires careful coordination between roles and a united effort to overcome its pesky Elite mobs.
It's a long dungeon with plenty of room for error. To help you on your way, we've put together the definitive Starstone Barrows guide, including how to unlock Starstone Barrows, and what rewards you obtain for making it through.
New World housing is a multifaceted system that lets you leave your mark on Aeturnum's settlements, but there's more to housing than just building your dream pad. Housing provides fast travel benefits and a place for your pets to call home, and it also gives you extra storage once you reach the right crafting levels.
You'll need to work on raising Territory Standing before the first housing level unlocks, and it might be worth switching New World factions if you're perpetually short on cash. Factions determine how much you pay in taxes, and bigger factions usually have lower tax rates in their territories.
Unlike in real life, there's no potential to play the real estate market and invest in properties in this new MMO, or not yet at least. If you don't want your house anymore, your only choice is to abandon it. Think carefully about where you want to live before spending your hard-earned cash. Our housing guide covers how to buy a house, what benefits each tier offers, and how to get extra storage.
I refuse to believe it's been two years since the launch of Tangle Tower. A year, at most, perhaps, but two? Simply impossible. But its release on PS4 and Xbox One this week has got me thinking about this excellent murder mystery game again, and man, if you've been hankering for more great detective work after the likes of The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles (or indeed the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy) lately, then you absolutely owe it to yourself to play Tangle Tower. After all, when the prime suspect is *checks notes* a painted portrait holding a blood-tipped knife, who could possibly resist such a juicy little murder hook?
Following the sexual harassment and discrimination lawsuit filed against Activision Blizzard by the state of California this summer, Blizzard let go several long-time developers in leadership positions. Among them was Diablo IV's game director Luis Barriga. Blizzard have now officially filled that position with another long-time Diablo series designer Joe Shely, they've announced in a blog post.
As it was rumored, so it shall come to pass. Rockstar have just announced that they are indeed doing remasters of Grand Theft Auto III, GTA: San Andreas, and GTA: Vice City for PC and current consoles. Not just that, but they're coming this year which, now that it's October, means quite soon. They've rolled out a quick teaser trailer and just a couple details on what's getting freshened up in the trilogy remasters.
Warzone Season Six is here, and it's the final season before the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard. Along with the map changes and new operators, this season has introduced some new weapons. One of these new Warzone weapons is the .410 Ironhide shotgun. You can unlock it for free once you reach Tier 15 of the battle pass. With the right build, the .410 Ironhide is a powerful choice. When games come out first on PlayStation, we PC gamers usually have to wait a while before they pop up on Steam or wherever. FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch came out for the PS5 back in September, followed by an announcement late in that month that the game was coming to PC. A few days later, it was stealth launched. The game is a 2D Metroid-like featuring animal people versus robots. While it has received plenty of praise upon its console launch, the question stands: is FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch worth it on PC? FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch centers around a rabbit named Rayton who lives in Torch City. He used to pilot a big mech suit as part of a squad and fought against the Machine Legion, which overwhelmed the city's forces and put it under their rule. Six years later, Rayton is commiserating with his former squadmate, a bear named Urso, who insisted on fixing up a backpack fist weapon similar to the fists of the mech Rayton used to use. But Urso gets arrested by the Legion....
Bloodhunt, the free-to-play battle royale set in the world of Vampire: The Masquerade, has just received its first major update with the release of Act 2. The update includes a bunch of new cosmetics, plenty of which will help you look the part for Halloween. In Act 2, Bloodhunt's narrative will continue, players will be able to complete a new questline, a new indoor battle arena has been introduced, and there are plenty of adjustments to the vampires and weapons. You can check out the complete patch notes for Act 2 on the Bloodhunt website. I'll whip you through the major additions and changes. Improving the hunt Sharkmob made numerous tweaks to gameplay features to improve your experience. In squad matches, you can respawn and revive teammates. The health bars of your allies will now more clearly indicate when a teammate can be revived. Dead players will also receive a reminder that they can be respawned. However, respawn stations have a new sound effect, which will let eve...

Did you know that the Switch OLED comes with its own screen protector? This is officially referred to as an "anti-scattering adhesive film". And you'll want to leave it alone. Nintendo's latest Switch system features an OLED display, which is quite different than the plastic LCD panel we've seen with the console previously. To protect the screen against scratches and...
As we're winding down for the day, there's only one thing on my mind: picking up my shiny OLED-screened Switch which is waiting for me in the back room of my local Smyths.

We're blessed on the Xbox with a glut of high-quality, fiercely challenging survival sims. Subnautica, No Man's Sky and Rust may be the first that come to mind, but there are plenty of others. Residual has a fight on its hands to survive in that environment. However, having buried hours of our life into its hazardous surface, we can say that it does a lot to justify itself.
It's been 20 years since the iconic Grand Theft Auto III first fired itself into our lives, and in celebration of that anniversary Rockstar Games are going big, bringing together some of the finest titles in their library and bundling them together into the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC.
