Split Fiction review - sci-fi and fantasy collide in Hazelight's best game yet

"Rainbow farts are the best!" Zoe informs us. Our dual protagonists have been transformed into adorable little pigs, one with the ability to turn into a slinky, while the other, well, rainbow farts for speed boosts. We begin feeding apples to ravenous door locks and rolling around in the mud, then slowly but surely make our way toward the end of this wild and wonderful adventure. We dive into the darkness, expecting to reappear in Mio's cyberpunk-inspired dystopia. Instead, blood covers the screen and the adorable little piggies are turned into a pair of sausages and tasked with cooking themselves. I'd say this alone sums up the chaos that is Split Fiction, but it's only really scratching the surface.

Grab free Steam keys for two of the most underrated city-building strategy games

At some level, Fallout has always been part strategy game. The 1997 original relies on turn-based combat and close resource management. Fallout Tactics trades the RPG structure for something closer to XCOM. And then you have Fallout 4's settlement construction and the pseudo city building in Fallout Shelter. Combining Frostpunk's hard-biting, survivalist aesthetic with the Fallout series' various nods towards strategy and 4X, in combination, Endzone and Endzone 2 represent two of the most underrated, underplayed games in the genre. With the sequel nearing its full release, PCGamesN has 30 Endzone 1 Steam keys, and 30 for Endzone 2 to give away right now.

This new Nacon PC controller is extremely customizable, but it comes at a cost

Following the release of the first PC controller to feature Hall Effect triggers, the Revolution 5 Pro, Nacon is releasing a new Xbox and PC model, the Revolution X Unlimited, which this time introduces a built-in LCD and finally adds vibration. I reviewed the Revolution 5 Pro controller and found that, while impressive, it fell short of becoming an essential purchase for PC players. It was missing vibration due to a Sony licensing issue for PS5 accessories but still sat among the best PC controllers due to its impressive adaptation of Hall Effect technology, which Nacon is championing in this new controller once again.

     Best Terraria servers 2025

What are the best Terraria servers to join in 2025? We've scoured the internet looking for the top Terraria servers and server clusters to cater for all experiences, whether you're looking for a relaxed place to come up with some amazing builds with access to all items, an intense survival or PvP experience, or a bunch of minigames. We'll also explain how to join a Terraria server, with IP and port information for every entry on our list.

Terraria features block-based gathering and crafting systems against a 2D backdrop that you might, at a glance, mistake for a classic '80s or '90s platformer. One might reductively call it a 2D Minecraft, and just like Mojang's masterpiece, Terraria has near-endless scope for modification and expansion. With so many ways to play the vanilla game, let alone via the best Terraria mods, the online multiplayer experience can be overwhelming in its variety, so we've listed some of the best and most populated Terraria servers with a breakdown of exactly what they offer.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 reportedly coming soon, and it could cost just $199

Nvidia is reportedly prepping a new budget gaming GPU in a bid to tempt gamers with smaller budgets over to its new Blackwell architecture. According to reports, there's a new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 coming soon, which would mark a new strategy for the company, as the desktop RTX 4000 range only dropped down as far as the $299 RTX 4060.

Let's be realistic, the RTX 5050 isn't going to be the best graphics card you can buy, but Nvidia has had a gaping hole in the sub-$250 market GPU for years now, and this new GPU might just plug that gap. That's assuming, of course, that Nvidia can make anywhere near enough GPUs to cover demand, and the dire RTX 5070 stock situation doesn't look promising here.

I knew the RTX 5070 was tricking me. Parked next to the extravagant silliness of the two-grand RTX 5090, this £539 / $549 graphics card looked like a very agreeable deal, offering all the same DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation as its bigger, pricier brothers. Also, an upgrade to the RTX 4070 Super, a GPU that could handle 4K without looking too out of place in a premium 1080p rig. Tragically, though, the RTX 5070 breaks a sacred covenant, a mutual understanding between PC owners and parts makers that's held strong for decades: if you buy a new version of a thing, it should be faster than the old version of that thing. Look past the MFG illusion, and far too often, it isn't.

Monster Hunter Wilds Vista of the Windswept Plains

Hefty fixes for problems plaguing some hunters in Monster Hunter Wilds will be arriving in a new patch set to release on March 10, 2025. Capcom shared a post on the official Monster Hunter Status social media account, which handles updates about the server status and game issues that confirmed the launch date for the update and list of the intended fixes.

Once applied, this patch will bring the game up to Ver.1.000.05.00. One of the major changes will be a fix that prevents the progression bug in Chapter Five. You also won't experience issues with Meal Invitations in Azuz and Sild after it arrives. Another problem involved breaking parts off a monster and not getting the correct items, so drops will appear as intended. The equipment loadouts will save Decoration gems too after it launches., fixes to certain skills activating in ways that are not intended and resolving an issue where the game could shut down if loaded back into after a force quit.

A number of our hunters' skills will be fixed after the update too. The list Capcom shared on the site does not specify which ones will be targeted in this patch.

Capcom also mentioned it is aware of other issues, but those won't be fixed until future updates. Two involve online elements, like SOS flare network errors and Hunter Profile editing issues. Another problem being addressed eventually involves blunt-type Palico Weapons not inflicting stun damage.

Capcom recently sent out a player survey to gauge the community's reaction to the game, with a second feedback survey set to arrive in May 2025. Players who fill out the survey can mention any issues that might have emerged.

Monster Hunter Wilds is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The first major Title Update, featuring Mizutsune, will arrive in Spring 2025.

Sakura Miku Harmonia Humming Doll and Nendoroid Appear Hatsune

Good Smile Company opened up orders for two new Hatsune Miku figures of the Sakura Miku variant, with one being a totally new Harmonia Humming doll and the other a Nendoroid 2.0 release. The ¥7,500/$59.99 rerun Nendoroid will show up first in August 2025, and its an updated take on the 274 rerun of the cherry blossom figure from years ago. Meanwhile, the doll is ¥30,000/$236.99 and will launch in December 2025.

The Sakura Miku Nendoroid is a revitalized version of the traditional Nendoroid, so there are no extra parts. It's just widely available again and feature some stylistic updates to bring it more in line with other figures in this line. She has a neutral smiling face, one in which she's winking, and a final one with a smile so big her eyes are closed. She also comes with a dango, a sakura blossom, and a camera she can hold. You can also swap her lower half for one that lets her sit. She is missing some of the other accessories, like green cushions, from the original release.

Here's how that looks:

Good Smile Company is about to hit a hallmark soon for Hatsune Miku Nendoroid figures. It's working on its 100th one.

In the case of the Harmonia Humming Sakura Miku, you're getting a themed Hatsune Miku outfit that is compatible with any doll in the line as well as the doll itself. Her gradient pink pigtail wig is done up like her hair and features removable cherry hair accessories. She also has removable cherry-pink eyes. Aside from the included headset she can wear, there are no extra accessories.

Here's how that looks:

As per usual, you can purchase advance tickets via lottery. Interested parties will have until March 24, 2025 to apply for the lottery, and you'll learn on March 27, 2025 whether you win or not. Information on when other customers can purchase tickets for the Metaphor: ReFantazio concert will appear later.

Though it lost out to Final Fantasy VII Rebirth during the Game of the Year 2024 awards, Metaphor: ReFantazio had received a nomination for Best Score and Music. Shoji Meguro, the composer, will also appear at the concert as a special guest. Aside from his work on Metaphor: ReFantazio, he's best known for providing the music for the latter entries in the Persona series.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC.

We are still in the midst of the TCG Pocket Gible Solo Battle Event, but you'll need to get some other decks prepared for the latest Pokémon TCG Pocket Event. To celebrate the release of the latest TCG Pocket Expansion, Triumphant Light, there is a new in-game PvP battle event so players can earn emblems and rewards. If you want to take part in the latest battle event, here are the best consistent TCG Pocket decks.

TCG Pocket Triumphant Light SP Emblem event rewards.

There are numerous rewards for completing missions in the Triumphant Light SP Emblem event, but above all people want to earn those emblems. The event asks players to win five PvP TCG Pocket battles in a row, with a new emblem awarded at two, three, four, and five consecutive wins.

Players can also grab Shinedust for meeting certain matches won milestones, and Pack Hourglasses are rewarded for participating in versus battles. You can claim both of these rewards from the Missions menu.

Misty, Vaporeon and Palkia ex card from TCG Pocket.

Players are using a wide variety of decks at the moment, but Palkia ex is one of the most popular ones and you should be aware of its strategy. Water decks are particularly powerful at the moment thanks to the great number of support options available to Water-types like Misty and Irida.

The Palkia ex deck is based on Energy acceleration to your main attacker, Palkia ex. Manaphy places two Water Energy onto your bench, and Vaporeon can move any Water Energy on the bench to the active spot. Further Irida will heal any Pokémon with Water Energy attached, while Misty can put extra Water Energy onto the field. Once Palkia ex has four energy attached, it can deal 150 damage per turn, which is enough to overwhelm most other decks.

To beat this deck you need to take out the cards around Palkia ex quickly. Defeating the Eevee before it evolves, and the Manaphy before it can use Oceanic Gift, really disrupts the strategy. Any Pokémon that hits hard, and fast will dismantle the deck before it gets going.

Here's the deck list we recommend for Palkia ex:

  • Palkia ex x2
  • Manaphy x2
  • Eevee (Mythical Island) x2
  • Vaporeon x2
  • Misty x2
  • Professor's Research x2
  • Irida x2
  • X Speed x2
  • Poké Ball x2
  • Giant Cape x2

Koga, Darkrai ex and Weezing card from TCG Pocket

The other main deck at the moment is based around Darkrai ex, and there are many different variations. The strategy for this deck is based on damage over time. Darkrai ex does 20 damage to your active Pokémon every time you attach a Dark Energy to it, softening them up for a bigger attack. The Weezing from the Genetic Apex set works well with it as it adds extra chip damage with Poison.

When Weezing is about to be knocked out, it can be scooped with Koga and the Koffing set back down for the next turn. This allows the cards to be recycled through the deck without the opponent taking any points. This can quickly become frustrating, as damage doesn't stick to this deck. Further, Rocky Helmet will deal damage back when the cards are attacked.

Darkrai ex decks rely on dealing small amounts of damage over time, and faster decks will outpace and overrun this deck. Decks that hit Pokémon on the bench can help take Darkrai ex out before it has dealt too much chip damage, and waiting until you can take out Active Pokémon in one hit will help with recoil damage.

Here's the deck list we recommend for Darkrai ex:

  • Darkrai ex x2
  • Koffing (Mythical Island) x2
  • Weezing (Genetic Apex) x2
  • Koga x2
  • Professor's Research x2
  • Cyrus x2
  • Potion x2
  • X Speed x2
  • Poké Ball x2
  • Rocky Helmet x2

Consistent TCG Pocket decks – Celebi ex

Erika, Celebi ex, and Serperior cards from TCG Pocket

While Palkia ex, and Darkrai ex are the most popular TCG Pocket decks right now, there are two decks that we prefer for their consistency. In our opinion the best TCG Pocket deck remains Celebi ex, and it's only become stronger thanks to the introduction of Pokémon Tools. Celebi ex can deal 50 damage for each Grass Energy attached to it, and Serperior doubles the amount of Grass Energy. You can see how this quickly gets out of hand.

Celebi ex's main weakness is that it only has 130HP, but that's not even a weakness anymore. The Giant Cape item can help Celebi ex survive previous one-hit knockouts, while Erika will heal Celebi ex for 50HP. This will keep Celebi alive for longer, and allow more Energy to be attached.

The key to beating Celebi ex is to take out the Snivy before it becomes a Serperior. Without the double Energy that Serperior provides, Celebi ex is a lot less threatening. However, if Serperior is online, you should change your target to Celebi ex, and try to take it out before it takes you down. Once the Celebi ex is knocked out, the Serperior in the back can't deal nearly as much damage.

Here's the deck list we recommend for Celebi ex:

  • Celebi ex x2
  • Snivy x2
  • Servine x2
  • Serperior x2
  • Erika x2
  • Professor's Research x2
  • Sabrina x2
  • X Speed x2
  • Poké Ball x2
  • Giant Cape x2

Consistent TCG Pocket decks – Articuno ex

Misty, Articuno ex, and Greninja cards from TCG Pocket

Articuno ex has fallen out of favor, but it is incredibly strong in the current Pokémon TCG Pocket meta thanks to its ability to hit Pokémon on the bench. Add in the huge amount of support for Water decks thanks to Misty and Irida, and Articuno ex becomes a strong and consistent deck.

The introduction of Cyrus improved the Articuno ex deck, as it can pull up whichever Pokémon you want from the bench to the active. Articuno ex's Blizzard and Greninja's Water Shuriken allow you to damage Pokémon on the bench, which are then brought up with Cyrus for the knockout. Giant Cape and Irida will keep the Articuno ex healthy while Misty can accelerate Energy.

Without Misty, Articuno ex takes three turns to set up, which is a long time given how many cards can be set up with one or two Energy. Articuno ex can be taken out with two hits as a rule, which means it can be outpaced.

Here's the Articuno ex deck list that we recommend:

  • Articuno ex x2
  • Froakie x1
  • Frogadier x1
  • Greninja x1
  • Misty x2
  • Professor's Research x2
  • Cyrus x2
  • Irida x2
  • Potion x1
  • X Speed x2
  • Poké Ball x2
  • Giant Cape x2

Pokémon TCG Pocket is out now and available for iOS and Android.

Hatsune Miku 100th Nendoroid

The Vocaloid Hatsune Miku may have had many figures in regular proportions and various outfits made by companies like Taito and Banpresto. Still, Good Smile Company has been notably known for releasing numerous Nendoroids based on the same character, with the number finally reaching 100. The latter is celebrating the 100th release of chibi Nendoroid figures based on Hatsune Miku by holding multiple campaigns. One of those is a commemorative exhibition that the company has just launched in Akihabara, Tokyo, Japan.

Visitors who enter the venue early each day for the event, which runs until March 23, 2025, can receive a random sticker featuring a Miku Nendoroid while supplies last for the day. The exhibition primarily showcases all the prior Nendoroids based on the same Vocaloid. However, this event is also where people can make early-bird purchases of the Hatsune Miku: 100th Adventure Version Nendoroid at 8,000 yen (~$54.30).

Good Smile Company is also simultaneously holding another separate campaign in collaboration with its own Nendoroid Face Maker website. The latter has started selling twelve exclusive facial expression parts that will be most compatible with the 100th Nendoroid of the popular Vocaloid.

The latter page also contains a more detailed schedule for the sales of the milestone Nendoroid. According to this, Good Smile Company is expected to open online pre-orders for the same Nendoroid from May 19, 2025, until July 2, 2025. The Nendoroid Face Maker website will also sell noseless versions of the exclusive faces for a whole month starting from June 2, 2025.

In the Japanese press release and the Steam announcement post, it announced the Spring season of 2025 as the game's release window, but the game's Steam page lists it as Q2 2025, so it is most likely to come around April or May 2025.

Square Enix Selling FFXIV Regulator and Warrior of Light Bag

Square Enix announced it is selling Final Fantasy XIV merchandise like a bag inspired by the Warrior of Light and a replica of the Regulator we see in FFXIV Dawntrail. Both are expected to ship in October 2025. They are each only available at the official storefront for now. The Regulator is $40.99, and the bag is $55.99.

The FFXIV messenger bag is the more generic of the two items. It is black and features the words "Warrior of Light" in black next to the series' meteor logo in white next to it. The top zippers and has a blue pull tie with the game's logo, and that can fold over the front. On the back is an additional zippered pocket with pull tie.

Here's the how FFXIV Warrior of Light messenger bag looks:

Of the two items, the Regulator is actually a bit of a spoiler. It comes up once you visit a certain place in FFXIV Dawntrail. The device is a controversial one. The replica can worn in three different ways. You can have it in your hair, strap it to your wrist, or carry it on a strap. There are red and blue light options, though you need to put in a AAA battery for that to work.

Here's a closer look at the FFXIV Regulator:

We could end up learning about more FFXIV merchandise very soon. The Letter from the Producer Live LXXXVI airs on March 14, 2025. In these presentations, Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida tends to talk about products tied to the series at the end of the showcase. That's how we learned about the Schwarzkopf hair dye and LOGOS Outing Equipment camping items.

Final Fantasy XIV and the Dawntrail expansion are available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the FFXIV Regulator and Warrior of Light bag will ship in October 2025.

The Pokemon Center in Hiroshima will hold its renewal opening on April 11, 2025, and there will be a shiny red Gyarados at the entrance to welcome customers. Pikachu and Magikarp are also hanging out in the display, which resembles a waterfall that references to the mythological story behind Magikarp.

The new version of the Pokemon Center will feature Pikachu enjoying Hiroshima-specific souvenirs and activities. In a picture showing what the store will look like after its relaunch, we can see yet another waterfall display with water Pokemon swimming up it. There will be a section near the back for customers to play the Pokemon Trading Card Game. The Pokemon Center plans to hold events in that area in the future, so you'll be able to play it with friends, family, and strangers.

Zenless Zone Zero Anby Trailer Highlights Her Past and Power

HoYoVerse offered a better idea of exactly how different the S-rank Agent version of Anby will be compared to the A-rank one with a new trailer and social media post highlighting her new attacks. The video also offers a bit of a hint about her background and lore ahead of the 1.6 update

In the case of the Zenless Zone Zero trailer, it highlights the fact that Anby is the head of Silver Squad and a potential experimental test subject. The video begins with an announcer noting that individuals known as No. 5 and 7 weren't considered strong enough and "failed." There's also a mention of "replica recovery." Anby is heading down in an elevator when this happens and seems both upset and mad about the announcement.

Once Anby gets to the floor, we see her pass researchers dismissing some replicas' performance as not being good enough. They mention they only need "one." Anby then heads into the test to fight and refers to herself as No. 0. She handily beats all of the opponents, and the researchers seem pleased. They suggest disposing of everyone except her. Anby then makes the decision to go a bit rogue and be reckless. She purposely goes into the most dangerous ethereal zone. The researchers dismiss her as "too reckless." They then decide to treat the other replicas and keep the Silver Squad Anby leads. She then says she accomplished her mission.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyK2g9DFlls

As for the updated details about her moveset, it went over perks from teams and her attacks. She has the Voltage Surge ability that means her critical rate goes up if you include a Support Agent or one designed to Stun with her. She also increases Aftershock critical damage for the whole party if they hit foes she targeted with a Silver Star mark. That mark shows up when she hits someone with an attack. Silver Star enemies also gain up to three White Thunder stacks per attack that then eventually  builds up to Anby performing Azure Flash on them. If White Thunder is used three times in a row, she will do the AOE Thunder Smite attack. Her Voidstrike Ultimate is also an AOE attack.

While this new version of Anby, Trigger, and Pulchra are next, we also know what's coming in 1.7. Vivian will be one of the folks debuting in that patch. She's also going to be another Ether-element unit who is part of the Anomaly type.

Zenless Zone Zero is available on the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the 1.6 update arrives on March 12, 2025.

The Idolmaster Tours launch date is in late March 2025 with Gakuen characters added afterward

Bandai Namco has announced the full launch date for The Idolmaster Tours: To You Radiant Smile. The new arcade game will be available in amusement centers across Japan on March 26, 2025.

This title will appear as a rhythm game with real card-based idol outfit customization. It will have two main gameplay modes. The Rhythm Live mode will play like other rhythm games, where the player must hit the buttons and sliders at the right time in accordance with the musical notes.

The Idolmaster Tours will distinguish itself with the Create Live mode, which will test the player's creativity as a live stage producer. They can use the sliders to adjust specific spotlights and press the buttons to launch special effects and change the camera view.

The Idolmaster Tours will have a total of 15 idols available at launch. The roster will basically feature the three main highlighted idols from the franchise's first five sub-brands. Characters from the original series, Cinderella Girls, Million Live, and Shiny Colors were playable earlier during a location test at the November 2023 Amusement Expo. Bandai Namco later added the three male idols from SideM's Dramatic Stars unit in the June 2024 location tests.

The rhythm game will also have 7 playable songs with 4 difficulty levels at launch. In the Rhythm Live mode, the hardest Master difficulty will only be available after the player gets a minimum grade of B in Expert level. Access to the songs will also depend on the unit members the player has chosen.

  1. "The Idolm@ster" from the original series (Female idols only)
  2. "Onegai! Cinderella" from Cinderella Girls (Female idols only)
  3. "Thank You!" from Million Live (Female idols only)
  4. "Drive A Life" from SideM (Male idols only)
  5. "Spread the Wings!!" from Shiny Colors (Female idols only)
  6. "Nando demo Waraou" (All idols)
  7. "Voy@ger" (All idols)

The final launch art for The Idolmaster Tours also features Saki Hanami from Hatsuboshi Gakuen: The Idolmaster, the sixth sub-brand that was revealed and then released for mobile devices while the arcade game was still under development. However, Saki will not immediately appear in the new arcade game. Bandai Namco noted that it will add more characters—including those from Gakuen Idolmaster—to the roster sometime after launch.

The Idolmaster Tours: To You Radiant Smile will be available in Japanese arcades on March 26, 2025.

Angel Clover watch modeled after Tekken 8 Heihachi Mishima

Ueni Trading revealed a new Angel Clover watch inspired by Heihachi Mishima from Tekken 8. The Japanese company has also opened pre-orders for the watch, which will be available on April 8, 2025, on the brand's website.

This watch's design will be based on Heihachi, the Tekken series recurring character who made his return to Tekken 8 as a post-launch character in October 2024. The dial will feature the Mishima Zaibatsu logo, and the front case will have 236 pieces of crystal glass. Meanwhile, the back side will feature a command input that would result in Heihachi launching the Thunder God Fist in the actual fighting game.

The watch is available to order at 42,900 yen. The Japanese Angel Clover web store also supports international shipments via the WorldShopping widget, so people residing outside Japan can also place an order at around $286.25. However, this watch will have a very limited availability, as the company will only produce 150 units.

Ueni has also published a trailer featuring the collaboration watch on its YouTube channel:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICP030mZwig

As indicated by the source webpage, Heihachi's watch comprises the second wave of the collaboration between Bandai Namco and Ueni Trading. The companies had previously worked to release two watches inspired by Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima in August 2024. Ueni added in its new press release that the first two watches sold out very quickly.

The new Angel Clover watch modeled after Heihachi Mishima from Tekken 8 will be available on April 8, 2025. Ueni Trading will close the pre-order window on the day before release.

naruto gundam face masks

Bandai Lifestyle will release new Chara Pita face masks featuring mobile suits from Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom, characters from Naruto, and cats from mofusand. They'll cost 660 JPY ($4.50) each. So far, they are only confirmed to appear in Japan. However, it might be possible to import them or find them at some specialty skincare stores eventually.

The Chara Pita collection of facial masks have prints on them that lets you look like a character. According to the website, it's a way to bring you joy while you're rejuvenating your skin. The upcoming collection will include Kira's Mighty Strike Freedom and Athrun's Z'Gok from Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom, Naruto and Kakashi from Naruto, and a collection of kitty cat faces from mofusand. As a note, the mofusand face mask will have additional parts near your forehead to resemble cat ears.

The Mobile Suit Gundam Freedom Chara Pita face masks will come out on April 28, 2025. While the Naruto ones will also appear on that date, Don Quijote stores around the country will stock that collection of masks early. You can go find them starting on April 14, 2025, if you happen to be in Japan and around one of those stores. The same goes for the mofusand face mask design.

Bandai Lifestyle is a specific line from Bandai that focuses on items you can use in your everyday life, such as cosmetics and skincare. In April 2024, it teamed up with Nintendo to release a make-up collection line starring Princess Peach. This collection had three different items: a face mask, a lip gloss, and eyeshadow.

The Gundam, Naruto, and mofusand Chara Pita masks from Bandai Lifestyle will come out in Japan in April 2025. There's no word about a worldwide release for any of them yet.

A hunter watches a Grand Escunite in Monster Hunter Wilds

Grand Escunites are rare nautilus-like creatures in Monster Hunter Wilds. Whether you're filling out your field guide or completing a side quest, here's where to find this elusive cephalopod.

Grand Escunite location in Monster Hunter Wilds

The best place to find a Grand Escunite in Monster Hunter Wilds is near the Underground Lake Pop-up Camp in Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest region. If you don't have this campsite yet, it's at the north end of Area 8 behind a waterfall.

Map of the Scarlet Forest region in Monster Hunter Wilds
Screenshot by Destructoid

Once you're at the camp, rest until evening in the Season of Plenty. You can do this by entering your tent and tabbing over to the BBQ menu. Grand Escunites only spawn during the evening, nighttime, and morning. The Season of Plenty increases the number of fish in general, increasing your chances of seeing a rare Grand Escunite.

After setting your season and time of day, step out of the tent, and there should be several fish in the pool directly in front of you. Look for a nautilus-like creature with a pale blue sheen. The Grand Escunites have a pale blue color, while regular Escunites are a duller tan color. If in doubt, just catch them all.

There's a second fishing spot toward the back of the cave, too. From the campsite, drop down into the shallow water in front of it and walk forward until you see a prompt to dive in. Dive and swim to the rocky islet ahead. There should be a few fish in the water below.

If you don't see a Grand Escunite right away, return to your tent and rest until evening, nighttime, or morning in the Season of Plenty. This resets the environment and refreshes the fish in the lake. Keep resting until you find what you want, though it shouldn't take too many resets.

Catching a Grand Escunite in Monster Hunter Wilds
Screenshot by Destructoid

As a side note, this location is also a great place for farming zenny. Keep resting until any time of day in the Season of Plenty, and the pools should be full of Goldenfish and Platinumfish. Catch them with a rod or net, then sell their scales for profit. It costs some guild points to rest each time, but you should be able to make them back just by catching fish.

Catching a Grand Escunite for the Razzle Dazzle side quest

If you're catching Grand Escunites for the Razzle Dazzle side quest, use the fishing rod and not the net. Only fish caught with the fishing rod count toward side quest completion. Use the Tentacle Jig to lure Grand Escunites to your hook.

The Razzle Dazzle quest isn't required for Escunites to spawn, but it's the only objective in Monster Hunter Wilds that specifically asks for one. You can start this side quest by visiting Kanya toward the back of the Scarlet Forest Base Camp. She gives you bait and a series of fishing side quests, with Razzle Dazzle being the fourth and final quest.

Hunter posing in Photo Mode

When reaching the postgame stages of Monster Hunter Wilds, you'll encounter an issue that locks you out of Low-Rank content. Fortunately, there is a way to restore these items to the map, and we're here to show you how.

How to get back Low Rank environments in MH Wilds

You can change maps to Low-Rank level by participating in Alma's 1 to 3 Blue Star Optional Quests. Begin any of these missions, and the environment will return to the early levels, allowing you to farm basic monster materials. However, this method doesn't permanently change the environment to Low Rank, as it will only be available while the quest is active.

Low Rank quests in MH Wilds
Screenshot by Destructoid

First, you must decide which map to change to a lower level. For instance, those who wish to farm Low-Rank materials at Scarlet Forest can participate in the Forest Outlaw quests (located at the bottom of Optional Quests). Here's a list of all the 1 to 3 Blue Star quests and their compatible destinations:

  • Buggin' in the Desert: Windward Plains
  • The Desert is Demanding: Winward Plains
  • Buggin' in the Scarlet Forest: Scarlet Forest
  • A Sharp Shot: Scarlet Forest
  • Beware the Chatacabra: Windward Plains
  • Fire Starter: Windward Plains
  • Every Rose: Scarlet Forest
  • Tussle in Pink: Scarlet Forest
  • Sand Sea Surges: Windward Plains
  • Forest Outlaw: Scarlet Forest
  • March of the Kranodath: Oilwell Basin
  • Buggin' in the Cliffs: Icechard Cliffs
  • Veiled by the Tide: Scarlet Forest
  • Oilwell Basin Blast: Oilwell Basin
  • Sultan of the Sand: Windward Plains
  • Dance of Shadows: Iceshard Cliffs
  • Fleet Flight: Iceshard Cliffs
  • Scorching Simian: Oilwell Basin
  • Sultan of the Sand: Windward Plains
  • Spread Those Wings: Wyveria
  • Creeping Flames: Oilwell Basin
  • Pallid Beast's Lament: Wyveria
  • His Eternal Reign: Wyveria
  • Red Eyes in the Night: Wyveria
  • Consumer of Void: Wyveria

Although you'll receive a task to eliminate a particular monster, you can ignore it and explore the area for the materials. You don't even have to defeat the quest's target, considering that all materials will transfer to your inventory regardless. Just speak to Alma when ready, and she will conclude the mission. I used this method to farm Wingdrake Hides from Harpios, and it guaranteed a Low-Rank drop every time. But, if I were to do it in standard free-roam (aka High Rank), it would only give out Wingdrake Hides+.

The Optional Quests work wonders for those looking for Kinsect upgrades, which often use early-game resources. Plenty of other recipes utilize lower-grade materials, so when in doubt, switch the map over to the quests. Additionally, you can use Lucky Vouchers from daily logins to double your rewards, increasing your Zenny and resource intakes for the quest. While it's not required, you can also eliminate the Low-Rank mission's target to gather even more goods.

Fever Dream, The Unnamable, and House of Leaves book cover

Every book has the potential to change the world, but some of them are downright trying to break your brain. From wild sci-fi adventures to metatextual puzzles, here are 10 mind-bending books that are guaranteed to change the way you look at the world.

Dhalgren

If you're interested in reading a deeply weird story that's often considered one of the best sci-fi books of all time, then Dhalgren should be the next thing you pull off the shelf. Written by Samuel R. Delany, Dhalgren is set in the fictional city of Bellona, which thanks to some mysterious event has become almost completely isolated from the rest of the world. The story follows an amnesiac wanderer called the Kid who explores Bellona and encounters the city's frequently violent and deranged citizens. Dhalgren is fairly light on plot, but the book's bizarre world is sure to lodge itself into the back of your mind for years to come.

Piranesi

Susanna Clarke's strange little novel Piranesi is perfect for readers looking for a new kind of fantasy story. The novel follows its titular character spending his days in an infinite labyrinth that he calls the House. Piranesi believes that he's always lived in the House, and he's learned to navigate its winding halls and flooded rooms while keeping himself alive. Through encounters with the House's few other denizens, Piranesi slowly begins to learn the true nature of his home and discovers a terrible secret about his past that he'd long since forgotten.

UBIK

Philip K. Dick is one of the most famous sci-fi authors of all time, and you're probably familiar with works like Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? and We Will Remember It For You Wholesale, thanks to their classic film adaptations Blade Runner and Total Recall. All of Dick's story are strange, but UBIK is particularly mind-bending. The book follows a group of people who begin to experience time flowing backward and discover a product called Ubik that can stop the temporal regression. To say more would spoil the fun, but suffice it to say that UBIK is so out there that we probably won't get a big-screen adaptation any time soon.

The Unnamable

The Unnamable book cover

Books don't have to lean into genre fiction to present readers with mind-bending narratives. Samuel Beckett is one of the most important literary figures of the 20th century, though he's most famous for his plays, like Waiting for Godot. His novel The Unnamable takes the form of a single stream of narration that's being spoken, or perhaps thought, by a completely indiscernible consciousness. The narrator speaks because it must, and its stories are often presented as a means of distracting itself from thinking about its current situation – existing, possibly, as a formless creature in a space of infinite darkness. The Unnamable is utterly fascinating, but it's easily the most difficult read on this list.

Slaughterhouse-Five

Slaughterhouse-Five book cover

Kurt Vonnegut is the author of many classic stories, but Slaughterhouse-Five is arguably his best. The book is a World War II story, a biting satire, and a wild sci-fi adventure all in one. It follows Billy Pilgrim, a chaplain in the United States Army during the war. During the war, Billy became "unstuck" in time and began experiencing traumatic wartime events, like the bombing of Dresden, alongside bits and pieces of his own future. Billy's story is equal parts horrifying and hilarious, and if you haven't read it already, you owe it to yourself to do so.

Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World

Haruki Murakami is the other of many mind-bending novels, including the deeply strange 1Q84, but Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World stands out for being incredibly approached and completely bizarre at the same time. The novel's chapters alternate between two worlds and stories. In one, a scientist living in the far future works as a human encryption machine in a lab hidden deep beneath Tokyo's sewers. In another, a man living in a place called the Town learns to read the dreams of unicorns while living alongside people who aren't allowed to have shadows. Murakami has a delightful imagination, and this particular novel is sure to stretch yours.

Fever Dream

Like some of the other books on this list, Samanta Schweblin's Fever Dream asks the reader to puzzle out the true nature of the story for themselves. The protagonist is a woman named Amanda, who is lying on her deathbed, hallucinating her way through an intense psychological journey. In the hospital room with her is a boy named David, who gives some guidance, if not exactly reassurance, as Amanda's fevered visions slowly form into an unsettling ghost story and dire environmental warning. Fever Dream makes for a frightening read, but it's much more than just a horror novel.

The End of Mr. Y

The End of Mr. Y by Scarlett Thomas is an intensely psychedelic experience. The story follows a PhD student named Ariel Manto who discovers a rare copy of a supposedly cursed book called The End of Mr. Y. Through the book, Ariel learns how to enter a realm of pure consciousness called the Troposphere, where a number of the world's greatest luminaries have taken up residence. Unfortunately for Ariel, the Troposphere's residents want to keep their home a complete secret, and they're willing to kill her to do it.

Finnegan's Wake

Finnegan's Wake book cover

When it comes to mind-bending narratives that double as literary puzzles, James Joyce is an expert. Joyce's novel Ulysses is a classic of 20th century literature, and it's a mind-bending read in its own right. For a truly trippy experience, though, it's worth taking a look at Finnegan's Wake. At first glance the book is an almost illegible tangle of words, phrases, and old idioms, but with some extremely careful reading, the story begins to emerge. Spoiler alert: the whole thing is a dream, but actually working your way through the text of that plot, however, is going to give your mind a workout.

House of Leaves

House of Leaves book cover
Image via Amazon

For my money, House of Leaves is the most mind-bending book out there, and working through it is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have as a reader. The book is partly a horror story about a family that discovers a door in their living room leading to an impossibly large, constantly shifting labyrinth. It's also a multimedia piece, with text shifted around on the pages and chapters filled with annotations from various voices, all laying hints to a greater mystery that readers need to solve for themselves. House of Leaves is unlike anything else out there, even on this list, and if you haven't read it yet, you should head to your local library immediately.

The Sims 4 hobby class

The Sims 4: Businesses and Hobbies is all about improving the way you hone your skills while letting you use your talent to create a small business. Alternatively, you can host and attend hobby classes if you prefer skill mastery or want to make money through teaching others.

How to attend hobby classes in The Sims 4 Businesses and Hobbies

If you want to improve your Sim's skills quickly, you can attend hobby classes at any Small Business. In particular, Nordhaven's Terra-Potta and Koffieboon businesses have hobby whiteboards to learn about pottery and writing, respectively. You can attend their classes by selecting the Whiteboard and picking Ask to Start Class before paying the fee.

The Sims 4 attending a hobby class
Screenshot by Destructoid

Although these are the only default whiteboard spots in Nordhaven, you can create custom small business lots with NPCs, place a whiteboard within it, and ask them to host hobby classes if you want to change things up.

Once you ask any Sim to start a class, you'll encounter a goal mini-event to help you improve your chosen skill. In the case of pottery, you'll craft ceramic objects, discuss pottery with other Sims, and listen to lectures that help you rapidly gain experience in the skill. You can do this with any skill as long as you have the right equipment and someone with a high enough level. Getting a gold medal in a hobby class doesn't give you any item rewards, but it will help you progress through the Master Mentor aspiration.

How to teach hobby classes in The Sims 4 Businesses and Hobbies

If you want to try teaching other Sims, you can host your own hobby classes by purchasing the Sharing is Caring Hobby Whiteboard for 630 Simoleons and placing it anywhere in a Small Business lot. From here, you can start classes or open opportunities for employee-led classes.

The Sims 4 hobby board
Screenshot by Destructoid

The money you make from hobby classes depends on your skill level and the number of attendees. Even if you have a lot of attendees, hosting a class when you're only level three or five won't net you much money compared to a max-level lecture. To put this into perspective, having my character host a Rocket Science class when she's only level five would give me 120 Simoleons per participating customer. In comparison, a painting class at max level gives me 360 Simoleons.

Much like attending a hobby class, you'll find a goaled mini-event once you start teaching. Typically, you'll find tasks like lecturing, mentoring, and asking about hobbies and skills. You'll even have to show off your skills and demonstrate the activity to others during the event. Getting silver and gold medals on this will impress your customers, increasing your small business renown and overall satisfaction.

Make Good Choices: a well-lit street with buildings on either side of the road.

If the sadist in you likes playing one of the more frustrating games out there, you can be rest assured there are a few options. From Surgeon Simulator to I Am Bread to Octodad to Getting Over It, there's seemingly no shortage of ways gaming can make your blood boil.

If that's your thing, here's something to add to your pains: Make Good Choices. Released at the start of 2025, this small indie title will test the resolve of your shaky mettle. It was created by a small studio called TM Games, and it's been gathering a bit of momentum on YouTube over the past few weeks.

https://youtu.be/WPcAIb5WN_g

The premise is simple: get to the end of the street in one piece. Now, we can already ascertain things will not go according to plan, especially considering the game has the user-defined tags "survival," "choices matter," and even "psychological horror." Still, I decided to give Make Good Choices a try to see how much of a frustrating game it really is. Safety precautions are recommended from hereon out.

Cherish every moment

Make Good Choices: a well-lit street during the day.
Screenshot via Destructoid

Immediately check your surroundings. No, seriously. Scrutinize all potential hazards before you take even one step. The loading tips even warn you about this by clarifying that if something can go wrong, it will.

I begin with mild aplomb, certain that I can best the game within a few attempts. All it takes is a little bit of patience and enough repetitions to understand how it all works, right? Walk slowly and with purpose; keep your eyes peeled.

But hark, what is this? A falling lamppost, an exploding moped, a collapsing balcony? This is truly a dangerous street to walk down. Alas, I start over, ready to take on the challenge once more. And again. And again. And again. Then, a toilet break. And then again.

The essence of Make Good Choices is to celebrate tiny steps and make progress count, however small it may seem. There are dangers all around, and until you are safely at your destination, just assume the worst. If I can make it to [X], you think to yourself, I'll be happy.

What's interesting about the game is that there are small changes here and there with each reset. The street remains the same, but the obstacles differ each time you restart (and you have to restart every time; no save states here). Objects like the moped, air conditioning unit, gas pipe, or stationary van may not be there the next time around, and now that you understand what they do, you can actually start to plan. Sort of.

But you'll forget something. You'll always forget that one thing you neglected to look out for. Then it's back to the start for you.

Wait, who's that guy?

Make Good Choices: A creepy looking man stands on top of a building in the distance.
Screenshot via Destructoid

So how far have I got at the time of writing? It's hard to say in terms of intangible progress. In terms of distance, I've made it to the first junction crossing, a feat that's taken me more time than I care to admit, especially given I could still see the starting point if I were to turn around.

Is it a frustrating game? In the way you would expect, given that it boasts exploding objects. The thing that adds that extra layer of vexation in Make Good Choices is that there seem to be certain permutations of the game's obstacles that render a winning scenario impossible. If you notice x, y, and z in your path, you may as well give up. It's hard to say whether this was intentional or a curse of item randomization. Either that or I'm not as cautious as I first thought.

In any case, it doesn't quite lend itself to that frustrating game aesthetic that the aforementioned Surgeon Simulator or Octodad are known for. For starters, those games are notorious for their intentionally unintuitive control schemes, while Make Good Choices is an exercise in cursing yourself for forgetting there was a satellite dish above your head.

It also has something of a creepy vibe to it, which is not surprising given it's literally tagged as being a psychological horror. Some elements gave me pause for thought, beyond wondering where to make my next move. Like, what's with that news report I can hear in a nearby apartment? Or, who's that guy on the roof?

If you want to see someone complete the game to show it's actually possible, check out this speedrun (spoilers, obviously). But if there's one thing to take away from this, it's that Make Good Choices is an almost chess-like strategy experience. Only with more exploding bins and excessive use of expletives from the player.

The CM item is infinitely better than the ST version. It has better playstyles, roles, stats, and suitable body type. Ideally, Havertz is best utilized as a CDM in the Holding Role. The Long Ball+ and Anticipate+ combination and the silver Intercept are perfect for the position.

Despite costing over 1 million coins in terms of fodder, the SBC offers excellent value as long as you select the CM card. If you want to go for a striker, it might be worth looking at the Cristiano Ronaldo Flashback SBC instead.

This is one of the best versions of Cristiano Ronaldo in the game. He can play in two different positions, and Rapid+ and Finesse Shot+ on his body type will feel broken to use. His base Pace (90) might need a boost, but his Shooting (93), Dribbling (90), and 5* Skills/Weak Foot are perfect. He also has a lot of valuable roles and silver playstyles, making this card one of the most meta items you can use.

In many ways, he has similar playstyles as Fernando Torres Future Stars. But this SBC costs a lot more to complete and offers a far better card.

Split Fiction Mio and Zoe as cyber ninjas

Split Fiction, an online co-op action-adventure game, has just launched and has already claimed the top spot on Steam's global Top Sellers list.

The Top Sellers list ranks games based on total revenue, meaning it includes direct game sales and games with microtransactions alike—whether they're free-to-play, like Counter-Strike 2, or full-priced titles with additional purchases, like Monster Hunter Wilds.

Developed by the creators of It Takes Two, Split Fiction is already a hit many players are eager to experience.

Split Fiction is the top-selling game on Steam worldwide

Split Fiction, a game where two characters are trapped within the worlds of their own stories, is leading the Steam sales charts as of March 7, surpassing the Steam Deck and major AAA titles like Monster Hunter Wilds and a discounted Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

Steam's Global Top Sellers list with Split Fiction in the first spot.
Screenshot via Destructoid.

Our Split Fiction review score was a 9.5 out of 10. Reviewer Madison Benson wrote: "This is one of those games that thrives on surprising you at every corner, and hearing my friend's reactions was just as fulfilling as experiencing my own."

The game is priced at $49.99, but it also offers a unique feature—only one player needs to own a copy, while their co-op partner can join for free through the Friend Pass, though only in shared play with the owner.

Despite some players getting access without purchasing the game, Split Fiction is still dominating the best-seller list, proving its popularity.

Some assume the Top Sellers list includes free downloads because it features free-to-play games, but that's not the case. The rankings are based on total revenue generated through Steam, as explained in Steamworks' documentation.

Since Split Fiction has no microtransactions, its top ranking is purely driven by direct sales—a strong indication of how well the game is performing.

Split Fiction won't have microtransactions

For players who have already picked up Split Fiction or are considering it, there's good news—the game's director has committed to keeping it free of microtransactions, just like It Takes Two.

In an interview, he stated that he never wants his studio's games to include microtransactions. This is refreshing in an era where many major games are developed at huge costs, leading companies to not only charge $60 or even $70 for a game but also include microtransactions, battle passes, and other content that encourages further spending.

That doesn't seem to be the case with Split Fiction, but only time will tell if the studio can stick to that promise in the long run.

A player doing a cool pose while using the X move of the Lancer sword in the Verse Piece Roblox experience

In Verse Piece, you are only as strong as the sword you wield. The best swords are challenging to get, and the Lancer is no exception. Keeping this in mind, we've prepared the following guide on how to get Lancer in Verse Piece to help you out.

Complete Lancer Move Showcase

  • Showcase of the Lancer M1 combo in the Verse Piece Roblox experience
  • Showcase of the Lancer Z move in the Verse Piece Roblox experience
  • Showcase of the Lancer X move in the Verse Piece Roblox experience
  • Showcase of the Lancer C move in the Verse Piece Roblox experience
  • Showcase of the Lancer V move in the Verse Piece Roblox experience

Lancer has one of the highest DPS of any sword in Verse Piece, even comparable to Sung Jin-Woo. Although it doesn't apply bleed, Lancer can still reliably freeze opponents due to its multi-hit moves. Also, despite having only four moves in its kit, the Lancer sword boasts the highest burst damage in Verse Piece.

How to Get Lancer in Verse Piece

You can get the Lancer sword in Verse Piece by using the Gae Bolg material from your inventory. However, obtaining the Gae Bolg material can be quite tricky, as it only drops from the Lancer Boss. Alternatively, you can get the Gae Bolg material through trade, but you can expect that other players will want quite a bit in return for it.

How to Get the Gae Bolg Material From the Lancer Boss in Verse Piece

  • The spawn location of the Lancer Boss on the Desert Town island in the Verse Piece Roblox experience
  • Preview of the raid chest that drops when defeating the Lancer Boss in the Verse Piece Roblox experience
  • Contents of the raid chest dropped by the Lancer Boss with the Gae Bolg material in it in the Verse Piece Roblox experience

In Verse Piece, the Lancer Boss respawns every 10 minutes on one of the following islands: Jujutsu Village, Snow Village, Desert Town, or Shells Town. The Lancer Boss drops a raid chest that anyone on the server can open. If you want to keep all the loot for yourself and avoid losing Gae Bolg to another player, consider grinding Lancer on a Private Server.

How to Enhance the Lancer Sword in Verse Piece

To enhance the Lancer sword in Verse Piece, go to Blacksmith Isle and interact with the Blacksmith NPC there. Each upgrade attempt costs one Enhance Stone and has a 10% success rate. Thus, to fully upgrade the Lancer sword, you will need approximately 50 Enhance Stones. When fully upgraded, the Lancer sword will deal around 10% more damage with all its attacks and moves.

How to Get Enhance Stones

You can get Enhance Stones by opening chests and fishing in Verse Piece. However, fishing is definitely the better option of the two because, with it maxed out, you receive five items every seven seconds. Additionally, you can trade with other players for Enhance Stones, as they are relatively cheap in the current economy.

That wraps up our guide on how to get the Gae Bolg material and the Lancer sword in Verse Piece. To maximize the damage potential of the Lancer sword, be sure to check out our guides on traits, races, and accessories in Verse Piece.

The Sims 4: Businesses and Hobbies key art

Businesses and Hobbies is the latest expansion for The Sims 4, bringing a whole new style of gameplay for those who want to earn Simoleons doing something they love with their very own small business.

As in real life, you can't create a small business in Businesses and Hobbies before you figure out what you want the business to do or offer. Do you want to open up a tattoo studio, or perhaps sell pottery, two of the new features of the latest expansion? Or do you want to do something more familiar, such as selling art or even open up a café?

When you open up a small business, you'll be able to select five different activities that can take place on the business premises. These activities dictate the type of business you have, and you can mix and match them to your heart's content to come up with a truly unique business that's personal to you.

The activities you have available to you will depend on what other expansions and packs you own, which can get pretty confusing if you've got all the packs and are unsure what comes from where.

  • Browse and Buy Items

A Sony PlayStation 5 Pro console and DualShock controller on a dark gray background.

It's no secret that gaming in this modern era is expensive. The likes of a PS5, Xbox Series X|S or PC hardware can set you back a pretty penny. So what if you rented your console instead? Well, if you're a Sony fan living in the UK, you can do just that.

Over on the PlayStation website, you can now choose to rent a PS5 on a monthly basis rather than buying the system outright. There are several options to choose from, whether you want to lease a Pro console for 36 months or the Digital Edition for one year.

A PlayStation 5 and other accessories available to rent from Sony.
Image via PlayStation

The cheapest I can see is a PlayStation 5 Digital Edition Slim, which starts at £10.99 a month (for comparison, Spotify Premium is £11.99, while Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is £14.99). This assumes a 36-month rental, and the price per month will be more if you choose a shorter lease, or if you just want it on a rolling basis (£21.95).

Is it cheaper than just buying a PS5?

It's not just consoles, either. PlayStation will also let you rent accessories, such as a DuelSense Edge controller and the VR2 headset. You can even lease out a PlayStation Portal. But is it all worth it?

Let's say you opt for the cheapest option in terms of a full console. At £10.99 a month over a 36-month period, you'd be paying a total of £395.64. To buy a PS5 Digital Edition Slim direct from Sony would set you back £389, so renting isn't really that much more expensive than just purchasing one. It's just a question of whether you can commit to the monthly payments for the next three years.

But even then, it's possible to cancel your order/lease, though there are some provisos, naturally. According to the FAQ, it's free to cancel your PS5 so long as you do it within the first 14 days. After that, you can still back out of the agreement, but "an early cancellation charge may apply if you cancel before 18 months," so that's something to take into account. Do read through the Raylo terms and conditions (as well as the rest of the FAQ) if you decide to rent a console or accessory.

Naoe overlooks an area in Assassin's Creed Shadows

As Assassin's Creed Shadows approaches its March 20 release date, players need to make sure their platforms are ready to run the game properly.

The first thing is knowing when AC Shadows releases in your region and platform, which is a challenge in itself since launch times vary so drastically.

Then the other important thing to keep in mind is performance differences between consoles. For example, Assassin's Creed Shadows will run at better visual quality and frame rates on the PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X compared to the standard PS5 and Xbox Series S.

Fortunately, Ubisoft has released the exact performance details for each console, so you can check the tables below to see what to expect when you start playing.

Assassin's Creed Shadows expected frame rates on consoles

Here's the FPS you can expect on each console, depending on your selected game mode, according to Ubisoft. You can use the tables below in two ways:

  • Look for the target performance you want (for example, 60 FPS) and choose your game mode based on that.
  • Look for the game mode you want (for example, Fidelity for the best graphics) and check the expected frame rate.

PS5

Mode Resolution Target Performance Ray Tracing Usage
Performance 2160p Upscaled 60 FPS Selective
Fidelity 2160p Upscaled 30 FPS Standard
Balanced 2160p Upscaled 40 FPS Standard

PS5 Pro

Mode Resolution Target Performance Ray Tracing Usage
Performance 2160p Upscaled 60 FPS Standard
Fidelity 2160p Upscaled 30 FPS Standard
Balanced 2160p Upscaled 40 FPS Extended

Xbox Series S

Mode Resolution Target Performance Ray Tracing Usage
Fidelity 1620p Upscaled 30 FPS Selective

Xbox Series X

Mode Resolution Target Performance Ray Tracing Usage
Performance 2160p Upscaled 60 FPS Selective
Fidelity 2160p Upscaled 30 FPS Standard
Balanced 2160p Upscaled 40 FPS Standard

PC performance and minimum requirements

If you're playing on a PC, your performance won't be as predictable as on a console since it depends on your specific hardware and the countless combos of RAM, CPU, and GPU you can make. However, the game's minimum PC requirements are:

  • RAM: 16 GB
  • CPU: Intel Core i7 8700K / AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or better
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 8GB / AMD Radeon RX 5700 8GB / Intel Arc A580 8GB, or better

Performance differences between consoles and PC

On consoles, you are locked into the game's preset settings, meaning that lowering the resolution won't improve performance as it does on PC.

For example, on a PC, reducing the resolution decreases the workload on your GPU and CPU, allowing the game to run at a higher FPS with lower visual quality. On consoles, however, resolution settings don't work the same way, so what you see in the tables above is exactly the performance you'll get.

Now that you know what to expect, all that's left is to see how these settings translate into real performance once the game launches. Whether you prefer sneaking through the shadows as Naoe, charging into battle as Yasuke, or switching between both styles, Assassin's Creed Shadows will let you play your way when it arrives.

Looking at art in Nordhaven in The Sims 4

If you've been a part of The Sims 4 community for a little while, then you've likely heard of the Rags to Riches Challenge created by community favorite James Turner. Start with nothing and build up to becoming wealthy, it's a pretty simple concept.

With the addition of the Businesses and Hobbies expansion pack for The Sims 4, James has done what he does best and has created a new challenge. It's not official yet, at least not by the standards of the rules being uploaded to his website, but he's currently working his way through his own playthrough, and I've absorbed all the details.

If you're familiar with the Rags to Riches challenge rules, then you can pretty much guess how to complete this challenge, but there are a couple of twists that are special to this variation of the challenge:

  • Create your sim, buy a plot, then reduce your money to 0

    • Use the "testingcheats true" command, then "money 0"

  • Use the world around you to make money by fishing, digging, or crafting
  • Use benches to sleep, public places to wash, and otherwise survive
  • You can only sell items that you find on the Selling Tables in Nordhaven, shown in the image above, and selling directly from your inventory is not allowed
  • Slowly build up your plot with the things you need to sustain your business

As of yet, there is no official end point to this challenge, so you're free to choose when you feel like you've achieved everything that you want to achieve. Maybe it can be when your business reaches five-stars, or perhaps you need to earn 100,000 Simoleons through your business.

How to complete the Rags to Businesses challenge in The Sims 4

When attempting this challenge, there are a couple of key things to bear in mind:

  • You need 750 Simoleons to register your small business and start trading
  • Every time you open your business for the day, you'll need to pay 75 Simoleons

How you go about completing the challenge depends on where you set up shop, what you want your shop to do, and how quickly you want to complete the challenge.

If you set up shop in Nordhaven itself, you could focus on Pottery as James has in his playthrough. This would allow you to use the Pottery Wheels at the museum in the north of the town to craft Pottery to sell. Everything you want to make will cost money (20 Simoleons minimum), so you'll need to juggle your money to make sure you can afford to open the next day and sell what you've made.

Similarly, you'll need to pay attention to how much items cost that can help you complete the challenge. Aside from the items you need to simply survive, such as a bed and toilet, you'll need to buy equipment such as a Pottery Wheel and Kiln to sustain your business. It's all about juggling, but you'll get there.

If you want to spice up your gameplay, check out our list of challenges to really turn up the heat.

The Sims 4 small business renown featured

A large part of making your small business in The Sims 4 successful, at least in the Businesses and Hobbies expansion pack, is increasing your renown to unlock perk points. Depending on your level and alignment, you can gain perks ranging from a digital tip jar to guaranteeing customer satisfaction.

How to raise Business Renown in The Sims 4 Businesses and Hobbies

You'll naturally gain renown over time as you open your business, interact with your customers, and gain positive reviews. Here are some factors that can influence your customer experience and reviews:

  • Price modifier
  • Available business activities
  • Your interactions with customers
  • Quality of items and services sold
  • Quality and cleanliness of your lot

Much like in the real world, your customers want affordable products and services in a clean, nice-looking shop. They also don't want you and your employees to be rude or ignore them. You'll naturally gain positive reviews over time as long as you treat your customers well, have a clean shop, and provide the items or services they're looking for. You can also change your Price Modifier through the Small Business Settings menu to initiate a sale if you need a small boost.

Sims 4 small business customer reviews
Screenshot by Destructoid

From here, it's a matter of time and dedication. Opening your store for one day usually won't be enough to raise your renown to the next level. It can take dozens or even hundreds of in-game hours before you start climbing the ranks, especially if you have a new household that's building their skills and wealth from scratch.

Once you close your business for the day, check out the reviews to see what your customers are saying. If they think your prices are too high, you may need to lower your price modifier slightly. Similarly, if they like your prices but think your lot is dirty, clean up any messy dishes, trash piles, or water puddles that might be present before opening again. Don't worry, though; as you get more money, you can hire employees who handle this.

All Small Business perks in The Sims 4

The main benefit of raising your small business' renown is gaining perk points for upgrading your company. While neutral alignment perks benefit your business with few to no drawbacks, the Dreamer and Schemer alignment options have significant upsides and noticeable downsides. Below is every perk available in The Sims 4: Businesses and Hobbies.

Hopeful Hustle (Level one)

Perk Alignment Description
Leave a Tip? Neutral Customers have a chance to tip your business. Investing more points into this increases their tip chance and amount.
Inspiring Business Story Dreamer Your Sim can share their business journey to inspire other Sims.
Sway to Buy Schemer You can persuade customers to buy items on your Retail Displays.

Striving Startup (Level two)

Perk Alignment Description
Going Viral Neutral You'll see an increase in overall customer satisfaction.
Employee Bonus Dreamer You can give bonuses to your employees to fulfil their needs.
Fake Payments Schemer You can fake household bill and employee salary payments.

Neighborhood Gem (Level three)

Perk Alignment Description
Muscle Memory Neutral You have faster skill gain while your business is open.
Chug the WUTANT Dreamer Gain a drink that gives a massive, temporary spike in energy.
White-Collar Robbery Schemer Lets your Sim enter restricted business areas and gain a Kleptomaniac-like trait.

Community Staple (Level four)

Perk Alignment Description
Invest in SimoCoin Neutral You can mine "SimoCoin" on your home computer for passive income.
Customer Appreciation Day Dreamer You can choose to have all Entrance Fees, goods, and services be free in exchange for guaranteed customer satisfaction and Adoring sentiments from other Sims.
Fire Starter Schemer You can start fires on your lot to file insurance claims.

Local Legend (Level five)

Perk Alignment Description
Irresistible Scent Neutral Customer satisfaction will increase, keeping them around your business longer.
Bartering Dreamer Customer can give you rare collectibles instead of money.
Ultrasonic Whistle Schemer Your business will play a high-pitched whistle that forces customers to leave but attracts new ones. Everyone will also pay your Entrance Fee regardless of how long they stay.

A player sitting behind a stand offering items to another player in Verse Piece Roblox experience

Last updated: March 7th, 2025

Trading is the only way to get your hands on some of the limited and currently unavailable swords and specs in Verse Piece. However, trading isn't meant only for avid Verse Piece collectors. So, if you want to start making offers that others simply can't refuse, then follow our Verse Piece trade value list right below.

Verse Piece Trade Value List Explained

The trade value list below lists basically all items, sets, and gamepasses currently available in Verse Piece. You can use the trade value list as a reference when making trade offers. However, the trade value of items in Verse Piece is subjective in the end. So, understand that each player has the right to value their items differently.

Also, keep in mind that trade values of items in Verse Piece fluctuate based on currently running events and reruns. Limited events last longer, usually until the next big update, while rerun events only last for a few days. Lastly, we decided not to include some sword and spec sets, like Goku, Rowan, and Padoru, because of their very low value and unavailability.

Currently Available Verse Piece Limited and Event Rerun Dungeons and Bosses

  • Preview of limited dungeon rerun events in Verse Piece Roblox experience
  • Preview of limited Boss rerun events in Verse Piece Roblox experience

The trade value of most materials, sets, and gamepasses in Verse Piece is relatively steady. However, dungeon and Boss rerun events can drastically impact the trade values of limited items in the short term. With that in mind, here is a list of all ongoing events in Verse Piece so that you can predict which item's trade value will go up in the future.

Rerun/Limited Duration Drops
D4C Boss - Valentine Events February 21st, 2025 – • Hanni Plushie
• Rabbit Cap
• D4C (Limited) spec
• Valentine Angel title
• President title
Lancer Boss March 3rd, 2025 – • Gae Bolg
Uraume Boss (Rerun Event) March 3rd, 2025 – • Ice Fragment
• Curse Energy Shard
Limbus Company Dungeon (Limited Event) January 14th, 2025 – • Mimicry
• E.G.O. title
• Solemn
• Lament
• Death Butterfiles

Expired Event Rerun and Limited Dungeons and Bosses in Verse Piece

Most items from previous reruns in Verse Piece will gradually gain trade value over time because there is constantly less and less of them. So, if you are looking for some long-term investments, purchase any of the items below, and you won't make a mistake.

Rerun/Limited Duration Drops

Complete Verse Piece Trade Value List

All items, sets, and battle passes in the Verse Piece trade value list below are color-coded by their rarity in-game. Next to the item names, you can see the demand for them and their trade value in Race Rerolls (RR). In general, highly sought-after items at the moment have higher trade values. However, their accessibility has to be taken into account when evaluating them.

Cid Kagenou - Cid's Sword Very Low 500 RR
Maki - 1 Split Soul Katana Low 400 RR
Yuji - 1 The True Sukuna Finger, 35 Curse Energy Shards Very Low 150 RR

Some swords and specs are worth a lot of Race Rerolls, even though they are just bad. That's because of their collector's value. In general, sets that include limited materials are way more expensive than the ones you can grind at the moment. Sets only include tradeable materials. So, the remaining components, such as titles, traits, and races, you will have to obtain yourself.

2) Verse Piece Trade Value List for Gamepasses

Gamepass Demand Value
Madara High 7,500 RR
Gojo (Limitless) High 7,500 RR

Cid Very Low 1,750 RR
x2 Gems Medium 1,500 RR
x2 Exp Low 1,000 RR
x2 Money Low 1,000 RR

Gamepasses are generally worth more than regular sets because of a simple reason: they cost Robux. Also, using them immediately unlocks the account buff, sword, or set for you. So, you can skip grinding any titles, traits, or races needed for them.

Basically, all materials in the list below have a very low trade value in Verse Piece. The reason for that is very simple: you can get most of them by defeating certain Bosses, opening chests, or fishing. So, we decided to sort them based on their rarity instead.

How to Trade in Verse Piece

To list your items for trade or find trade offers from other players, visit the trade section of the Verse Piece Discord server. Making a sale listing is simple; just mimic the listing form of other players in the trade channel. If you want to initiate a trade yourself, use Discord's search feature to find specific items and then DM players that have them.

  • A preview of the menu buttons in Verse Piece Roblox experience with the Trade button highlighted
  • Preview of the trade window in Verse Piece Roblox experience

Once you've both agreed on a trade, join the same Verse Piece server and click on the purple trade button at the same time to initiate a trade. After you put your items into the trade window, check if the other player did the same and press the "Confirm" button. After a 5-second delay, your trade will go through unless you decide to cancel it for whatever reason.

I hope the above value list helps you trade your way up to some sick items in Verse Piece. If you are looking to claim some freebies in VP, then make sure to check out our Verse Piece codes.

GTA VI leak

GTA 6 could finally be coming soon, and like everyone else, I'm tired of waiting for this long-overdue sequel.

The GTA 6 release window is officially set for Fall 2025, meaning it should launch sometime between September 22 and December 21.

We can narrow this down slightly based on release schedules from other major games, which suggests a more likely launch before November. However, we still have no idea when GTA 6 pre-orders will go live. That will likely be the time when players can secure pre-order bonuses and other exclusive content for the game.

Looking at Rockstar's recent releases—GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2—we can make an educated guess on when pre-orders for GTA 6 might open.

That said, everything here is speculative. Rockstar hasn't even confirmed an exact release date yet, so take this as just an analysis based on their past trends.

GTA 5 pre-orders went live 4 months before the initially planned release

Let's start with GTA 5, which launched in late 2013. Back then, Rockstar announced physical pre-orders on Nov. 5, 2012, for a Spring 2013 game release (between March 20 and June 21 of that year).

While the game was ultimately delayed to September 17, this preorder date was four months away from the earliest release date and seven from the latest.

Red Dead Redemption 2 pre-orders launched nearly 5 months before release

For Red Dead Redemption 2, pre-orders went live much earlier—on June 4, almost five months before its October 26 release. This gave players plenty of time to explore the different editions and pre-order bonuses.

However, Red Dead Redemption 2 was delayed multiple times, so Rockstar may have originally planned for an earlier release and simply kept the pre-order system in place when the game was pushed back.

Predicting GTA 6's pre-order window

Since these were Rockstar's two biggest releases before GTA 6, we can speculate that if GTA 6 is set for Fall 2025, pre-orders could go live five months ahead of release, so sometime between April and June 2025.

April would be the earliest date considering a September release, while June would be the latest considering a late November release. I'm skipping December on purpose since it's rare for big games to release that late into the year.

Of course, this is just a guess based on past trends. A lot depends on factors like development progress, the game's marketing schedule, and how much time Rockstar wants between pre-orders and launch.

So if you're an impatient gamer who gets excited over new GTA 5 lighting effects or falls for John Cena's bait posts on Instagram, you might need to take a deep breath and wait a little longer for official news on GTA 6 pre-orders.

The adorable Wudud, Rove, plays a critical role in the Monster Hunter Wilds storyline, helping you uncover the secrets of the Guardian Arkveld. After completing his mission, you may have trouble finding him, even if you return to his hideout. Here's a look into Rove's location.

MH Wilds Rove locations, explained

You can find Rove at the Iceshard Cliffs Base Camp or Area 20. If you participate in the Aberrant Atrocity side quest, he'll likely be at Area 20. Open the map and select the lower level to locate this zone. It's the same destination you've encountered during the main story, but it's slightly more challenging to pin down this time. When you enter the lower level, you should see his Item Trade icon, which you can mark for quicker travel.

Rove Item Trade map location

I've noticed that sometimes Rove isn't there at night, so you may need to rest until the daytime. If you still can't find him, he's probably at the Iceshard Cliffs' Base Camp. I discovered him there after completing Aberrant Atrocitry, just beside the main entrance.

Remember, Rove's location can change depending on the time of day or active mission. But if you check both the Base Camp and Area 20, you're likely to find him. He's not just a great ally in quests but also a fantastic resource for trading. He often initiates trades with Chaliceweeds, a rare resource that can lead to some high-rarity rewards with a bit of RNG luck.

Sometimes, Rove will exchange Hidden Armor Set resources for the Chaliceweed, unlocking recipes within the Smithy. You can either seek out Rove yourself by traveling to Iceshard Cliffs. Or you can talk to Nata at the Base Camp to initiate the Item Trades and Material Retrievals through him. Many other residents are available for trading at Nata's Village Intermediary, including the adorable Scarlet Forest Wudwuds.

Nikki in her Firework outfit in Infinity Nikki

Infinity Nikki is an online dress-up game set in the rather stunning location of Miraland, filled with adventures waiting to be experienced and secrets to uncover. Understandably, you'd you would want to share the joy of the game with friends, but can you? Does Infinity Nikki have multiplayer?

The short answer at the moment is no. Not in a way that would allow you to meet up with friends to traverse through Miraland together or complete quests with friends. However, that doesn't mean there is no hope for a multiplayer future for Infinity Nikki

Will Infinity Nikki ever get Multiplayer?

Nikki thinking in Infinity Nikki
Screenshot by Destructoid

Although you can't adventure together just yet, that doesn't mean the possibility isn't tangible on the horizon. Before its release on PlayStation 5, the information provided on the PlayStation store page for Infinity Nikki stated that five friends could play together online. Of course, this information was removed not long after the store page itself was added, but it was there, and that sparks hope.

Similarly, there is now a Steam page for Infinity Nikki, although there is no solidified release date for the game on the platform. This page, as with any other Steam store page, lists some of the features that will be included so that you can sort through similar games on the store.

The Steam page for Infinity Nikki lists it as a Cross-Platform Multiplayer
Screenshot by Destructoid

On the Infinity Nikki store page, it's listed as a "Cross-Platform Multiplayer" game. This could be a sign of new multiplayer gameplay to come, or it could be referencing the severely limited multiplayer aspects currently included in the game.

Multiplayer features in Infinity Nikki

A group photo taken in Infinity Nikki
Screenshot by Destructoid

Currently, there are only really four multiplayer aspects in Infinity Nikki:

  • Add friends
  • Share adventure moments with friends through the Pear-Pal
  • Share Snapshots taken around Miraland
  • Take a group shot with someone who left a Snapshot

While adding friends and sending messages is a nice feature, it is the bare minimum type of multiplayer gameplay. Sharing Snapshots is nice, but those hourglasses are finicky at best and it's near impossible to ensure your photos get sent to your friend's game, with the process being entirely random and seeming to focus on showing recent photos over friends' photos.

This can be incredibly frustrating, especially if you want to take group photos with friends. As a dress-up game, it's reasonable to want to share your outfits and styles with friends, but that isn't possible at the moment outside of social media or private sharing.

How to add friends in Infinity Nikki

How to add friends in Infinity Nikki
Screenshot by Destructoid

Through the Pear-Pal, select the 'Friends' icon on the second page, then 'Add Friends' in the bottom right of the screen. If you want to add a friend, the person you want to add will need to select 'Get Friend Code' in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen to generate a single-use code.

In the top right-hand corner of the screen, there's a box where you can input or paste this code, sending off a friend request that the other person can then accept. This code is time-limited, and you will be told when the code expires every time you opt to get a new code. A new code will need to be generated every time a friend request is made.

As long as they accept the friend request, you'll then be able to use the Messaging feature to share select parts of your journey.

How to take a group shot in Infinity Nikki

How to take a group snapshot in Infinity Nikki
Screenshot by Destructoid

If you find a Snapshot around Miraland that you really like, you can then select the button in the bottom-right of the photo to 'photo share'. This will put the other person's Nikki into your game, allowing you to take a group shot with them, albeit in an awkward way.

They will remain in the pose they took in their Snapshot while they remain in your world, like a mannequin for you to pose with. As stated previously, it is very difficult to find your friend's photos while wandering around Miraland, and can sometimes take a lot of reloading before they show up.

When you've done this, you'll then be able to share it as a Snapshot yourself, and add them as a friend if you want to.

Dandelion in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Whenever you load into your Valley in Disney Dreamlight Valley, it can feel like flowers have sprung up absolutely everywhere. You'll soon end up with a veritable hoard of flora, but some flowers are more difficult to source than others.

Dandelions are one such flower. Unlike in real life, where these weeds pop up in abundance during the Spring and Summer months, you'll need to wait around for quite a while if you want to build up a supply of this golden yellow flower.

How to find Dandelions in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley map showing the Plaza

Dandelions spawn on the Plaza, so you'll be able to find them regardless of how far through a playthrough you are. However, only four will spawn at any time and it takes 30 minutes for them to respawn after being picked, so you'll need to wait two hours before the maximum four have all respawned.

If you want to get more Dandelions than will spawn on your own Valley, you can always utilize the multiplayer capacity of Disney Dreamlight Valley. Whenever you have a Valley Visitor, they can come with items in their pockets and drop them in your Valley for you to pick up, including flowers such as Dandelions.

How to use Dandelions in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Items made using Dandelions in The Sims 4

Although the humble Dandelion isn't a massively utilized flower in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you'll still need it to get through certain quests or make certain decorative items for your Valley.

Dandelions in quests

There are a total of five regular quests and one seasonal quest that require Dandelions to complete:

Quest NPC Type How to complete
A New Enchantment Merlin Level 2 friendship Deliver four Dandelions to Merlin
Healing House Mirabel Level 2 friendship Deliver three Dandelions to Mirabel
Photographic Memory Goofy Level 4 friendship Take a photo of a Dandelion in the Plaza
Scrooge McDuck's Grand Re-Opening Scrooge Story quest Use Dandelions to craft a Dandelion and Rising Penstemon Pot
What Home Feels Like Elsa Level 3 friendship Deliver five Dandelions to Elsa
Blooming and Blossoming Wall-E Eggstravaganza daily quest Craft a Pretty Flower Basket

Dandelions in crafting

With the above-mentioned quests completed, you're free to use any Dandelions you find to craft some pretty decorations for the Valley:

Skill Mastery Perks are earned through practicing skills in The Sims 4

Growing your skills is nothing new to anyone who plays The Sims 4, or any Sims title for that matter. Every time you practise doing something, be it cooking or playing an instrument, you will gain experience in that skill, and get better at doing it.

With the addition of the Businesses and Hobbies expansion pack for The Sims 4, a new feature called Skill Mastery Perks has been added, allowing Sims to earn bonus perks just for becoming a master of their craft or chosen skill.

How to get Skill Mastery Perks in The Sims 4

Sim painting in The Sims 4
Screenshot by Destructoid

These perks are hidden in-game until you unlock them, with elders being more likely to obtain them. All it takes is determination and practice. If you want to earn a perk, you'll need to use your skills at a high level often, giving you the maximum chances of unlocking the Mastery Skill Perks.

Alternatively, if you want to take a more direct approach, elder Sims with a Mastery Skill Perk can bestow their Mastery upon other Sims. Of course, this does mean you'll need to earn the Mastery in the first place, or does it?

As you complete Sim's Whims and work towards their Aspirations, you'll also begin to earn Satisfaction Points. These can then be used to purchase Mastery Perk Bestower and Remover Potions from the Reward Store for 8,000 Satisfaction Points each.

An individual Sim can only have up to four Skill Mastery Perks at one time, so if you want to switch out any of your Skill Mastery Perks, you'll need to purchase a Mastery Perk Remover Potion from the Rewards Store before acquiring any new ones.

All Skill Master Perks in The Sims 4

Sim meditating in The Sims 4

Here are all of the Skill Mastery Perks currently available if you have the Businesses and Hobbies expansion pack, along with what they do:

Perk What it does
Aspirational Creator Your sim will earn +10 bonus Satisfaction Points when they successfully craft any excellent-quality object
Aspirational Thinker Your sim will earn +20 bonus Satisfaction Points when they spend time doing mental skills
Active Aura Your sim can channel their experience into an aura that helps nearby Sims build active skills 50% faster
Creative Aura Your sim can channel their experience into an aura that helps nearby Sims build creative skills 50% faster
Mental Aura Your sim can channel their experience into an aura that helps nearby Sims build mental skills 50% faster
Final Touch Unlocks the ability to use "Add Final Touch" on crafted objects, increasing their quality:
Poor > Normal
Normal > Excellent
Excellent > Impeccable
In the Zone Prevents needs from decaying for four hours while building skills
Mental Muscles Enables Sims to build muscle while practising mental skills, boosted by 15%. If they neglect their mental skills, the fitness will drop by 30%
PIgeonholed (Active) Sims build active skills 100% more quickly, but all other skills 50% slower
Pigeonholed (Creative) Sims build creative skills 100% more quickly, but all other skills 50% slower
Pigeonholed (Mental) Sims build mental skills 100% more quickly, but all other skills 50% slower
Pigeonholed (Social) Sims build social skills 100% more quickly, but all other skills 50% slower
Powerful Performer Your sim becomes a very talented performer in any skill, building a solid relationship with the audience and removing their negative emotions
Second Wind A 50% chance of needs (bladder, energy, hunger, hygiene) being maxed out and fatigue and pulled muscle being removed while performing active skills
Secret Spice Similar to Final Touch. Allows a sim to increase a cooked dish's quality by using "Add Secret Spice":
Poor > Normal
Normal > Excellent
Excellent > Impeccable
Skillful Sleep Allows Sim to select "Skillful Sleep" when using a bed, learning skills while they sleep
Spacebender Unlocks the ability to use "Spacebend Here", allowing your Sim to teleport from anywhere
Stellar Stamina Increases the stamina of a Sim while decreasing how quickly it reduces. A sim with this Perk will never get Dangerously Tired.

Best Skill Mastery Perks in The Sims 4

Sim sleeping in The Sims 4
Screenshot by Destructoid

Choosing what Skill Mastery Perks to aim for is entirely personal, but some are generally more useful than others:

Stellar Stamina

  • Elder Sims especially are at risk of dying from exhaustion a lot of the time, so this perk could be really useful if you're not used to keeping a close eye on your fatigue levels or just want to take a break from it

Final Touch & Secret Spice

  • These perks are incredibly useful if you're crafting items or cooking food to sell as part of your small business because higher-quality items will always sell for more than lower-quality ones. You can really boost your profits with this perk.

Skillful Sleep

  • Learning any skill in The Sims takes time, and learning a skill while you're sleeping and otherwise unable to do anything else is a perk that everyone could benefit from.

Spacebender

  • The worlds within The Sims 4 are all generally pretty large, and while you can run around, having the ability to teleport can get you from place to place in an instant. This leaves you more time for building skills and earning more Skill Mastery Perks.

All GTA V Online Treasure Hunt locations - two gang members sitting on motorbikes

The Treasure Hunt mission has been pretty popular in GTA 5, ever since its introduction a few years ago. Not only is it fun, but you get a unique weapon as a reward. If you want to find all GTA V online treasure hunt locations, keep reading for every treasure hunt location.

Where to find the Treasure Hunt mission

This mission starts as soon as you enter any session in GTA Online, as you will receive an e-mail from vanderlinde@eyefind.com on your phone. Attached to the e-mail is a black and white photo of where to find the first clue.

Receiving an email
Screenshot by Destructoid

After receiving the e-mail, which might take a few minutes after you start your online session, you should see a yellow circle appear on the map. Head to that location, and you will hear a strange humming sound. This sound will get louder as you approach the exact treasure spot.

If you don't complete the mission in your session, closing the game will reset the mission. You will receive an entirely new clue, as well. So the mission has to be completed in one session, or you will lose all progress. No worries though, as it's pretty easy.

All Treasure Hunt locations in GTA V Online

Each clue is marked on the map with a yellow area around it, just like the initial one you received in the e-mail. The overall area you have to search is often quite large, so look out for a note that may be attached to all kinds of different objects.

You might find it on a tree, a wall, a rock, or even a statue of an owl. The clues are generated randomly and not in any given order, so we recommend always searching carefully in the area around the yellow question mark on the map. All notes are the same and they tell you that the treasure has been moved.

Note on a wall
Screenshot by Destructoid

You should look for the places or objects shown in the photo attached to the e-mail you have received. Again, when you are approaching the correct spot you will hear the distant metal humming sound.

Here are all the locations.

Location of the clue Directions and details
Del Perro Pier This one should be relatively easy. The clue is located precisely where the sand starts next to the pier, specifically close to the pier's wooden supports. The note is pinned to the central pillar in the structure, and you will have to reach it to get it, so be careful navigating the structure as it can be dangerous.
Cassidy Creek This one is located close to this mountain path, so it can be difficult to understand exactly what we are looking for. This note is attached to a tree or pinned to a rock, close to where the dirt path is. Head to the northwestern part of the area indicated on the map, right at the edge of the river, you will find the bridge in the photo.
Vinewood Hills This clue will send you looking around the observatory in the Vinewood Hills, which is found in Baytree Canyon. You might be looking for a yellow shack with a billboard or a tree where you'll find the note. There are definitely a lot of potential spots where the note might be, so let the sound guide you.
Pacific Bluffs Graveyard Finally, an easy one. In the photo, you are simply shown a row of graves and that's where you will be taking your search. The note is often pinned to one of the largest white gravestones, so you shouldn't have much trouble finding it.
Tongva Hills Vineyards In this photo, you are shown the vineyards and a bridge. The note is pinned to a rock that is hidden under the bridge itself, it is not that difficult to find but you will have to be careful not to miss any of the potentially suspect rocks.
San Chianski Mountain Range Depending on the photo, you are sent either to look for a cliff, then the clue is on a board of the Chiliad View or a rock formation. In this case, you are looking for a large white boulder that can be found in the southwestern part of the search area on the map.
Sandy Shores Depending on the photo, you are sent either to look for a cliff, then the clue is on a board of the Chiliad View, or a rock formation. In this case, you are looking for a large white boulder that can be found in the southwestern part of the search area on the map.
Tataviam Mountains Another mountain range to navigate. If you receive a picture of a cliff, then the note can be found at the base of said cliff, next to the bridge. Other times, you can be shown a rock, in that case you are looking for a big white boulder quite close to the ocean.
Grand Senora Desert In the picture, you are shown a wooden door at the base of a cliff, so you are looking for the entrance to a mine. It should be relatively easy to locate the door, the note is pinned right on it.
Pacific Ocean This one will send you out to a small island in the middle of the ocean. The note is pinned on a boulder that is located close to the northeastern tip of the island.
Los Santos Golf Club Time to go golfing and, specifically, to look for one of the pillars of the bridge shown in the photograph. This should be quite easy to find, as the note is located right at the end of the bridge.
Alamo Sea (Sandy Shores) In the picture, you are shown a washed-up boat, so time to head out to sea to find it. Your search should start in the southern part of the shore, you are looking for a big rock right next to said boat, where the note is pinned.
Paleto Bay This time, we are hunting for a broken bridge, specifically one of the pillars that the note is pinned on. You should be able to find it in the northern part of the area indicated on the map.
Tongva Hills (Two Hoots Falls) We are looking for an owl statue, that should be easy to spot. It can be found on the southeastern edge of the search area, the note is pinned right on the owl totem so you can't miss it.
Great Chaparral You will receive a picture of a church with a fence around it. What you are looking for here is the graveyard, which is right behind the church, there will be a wooden cross right in front of the graveyard, with the note pinned on it.

Yellow area on the map
Screenshot by Destructoid

After finding all the clues, the second phase of the Treasure Hunt begins.

How to find the three final clues in GTA V Treasure Hunt

This final phase is always the same for all players, so it should be much easier to complete. You are tasked with finding three final clues to complete the treasure hunt.

They are the following:

  • Empty gun case: this one is located in Joad Lane, in Grapeseed, the empty gun case is placed on the ground next to a large tree, so it should be pretty easy to locate.
  • Bloody shovel: to find this one you will have to search an abandoned house in Sandy Shores. You should be able to find the shovel in the living room, next to the sofa.
  • Dead body: this poor soul can be found in a cave in Tongva Hills. It is pretty easy to spot, should you have doubts about it, since the corpse has been stripped to his underwear.

Naked dead body

GTA V Treasure Hunt rewards

As we come to the end of this long search, you should receive a message guiding you to the location of the actual treasure. Follow the yellow chest icon on the map, which can appear in different locations, such as Alamo Sea's North Calafia Way, Paleto Cove, or the Richman Glen area.

Once you reach the location, you will see another quite morbid sight, but more importantly, you will see a chest with the reward inside, the Double-Action revolver. Not only that, but upon completing the mission you will receive $5,000 for each clue discovered as well.

Plus, now that you have the revolver, you have a new sub-mission you can complete. Achieve 50 headshots with it and you can get another $250,000 as an added bonus. Plus, if you have a Rockstar account and Red Dead Redemption 2, you will get an exclusive weapon unlocked in that game as well.

About Grand Blue Dreaming

Grand Blue Dreaming is based on Kenji Inoue and Kimitake Yoshioka's manga of the same name. Kodansha USA publishes the manga in English and describes it as:

"After moving out on his own to a seaside town, Iori Kitahara makes a college debut he never anticipated. A new chapter of his life unfolds, full of diving with beautiful girls and shenanigans with a gaggle of lovable bastards! Idiot-expert Kenji Inoue and au naturel authority Kimitake Yoshioka bring you a glorious college tale filled with booze-fueled antics!"

The title then received a 12-episode anime adaptation, which premiered in July 2018 and ended in September of the same year. After six years, Grand Blue Dreaming Season 2 was officially confirmed to be in production.

The studio Zero-G was responsible for producing the first season, and it would continue to do so in the second season. However, studio Liber will be joining Season 2's production. Even so, Shinji Takamatsu will continue as the series' director.

About One-Punch Man

One-Punch Man is adapted from a manga of the same name. The original is a web manga by ONE, who also created Mob Psycho and the newer Bug Ego. However, the title gets a visual revamp through Yusuke Murata's manga remake, which is currently publicized by VIZ Media.

VIZ Media describes the story as:

"Every time a promising villain appears, Saitama beats the snot out of 'em with one punch! Can he finally find an opponent who can go toe-to-toe with him and give his life some meaning? Or is he doomed to a life of superpowered boredom?"
